I REJOICE IN MY HEART that I have lived to see the Sun rise on this historical and climatic day of resurrection when the incarnate sons and daughters of God come again to present themselves before the LORD of Heaven as in the days of Job — only this time to give our Beloved Archangel a Body with healing in His wings.
To celebrate this day of Resurrection and of Divine fulfilment, I offer for your inspiration — and for your assurance that all is indeed well — this poem by Hugh Malafry, whom I acknowledge and honor as a Prince of the King’s Court. This poem, penned by a poet in the story, appears on the last page of the third volume of Malafry’s trilogy, BLUE SHAMAN ~ “MASTER OF HALLOWS.” Enjoy and be uplifted.

ARCHANGEL
You come as the sun
Casting your shadow of light
Before you.
Your wings unfurled
Are dawn and dusk, and night
A cloak you gather around you
Like peace,
Starlight shimmering in the
Folds.
You have made your temple
Of our hearts:
Drawn, we are become your altar,
Kindled in your embrace
We unfold,
Wonder in the cloven Flame.
Closer than breathing,
Nearer than hands and feet,
We honor your return,
Remembering
The feathered-glory of sunlit
Flight.
Now we know as you have known,
And welcome you,
Home to our heart’s silent ease –
Soft as dusk,
Firm as a summer’s dawn.
~~~
Blessings of the Easter Season. Until my next post,
Be happy. Be blessed.
