Crucibles for Transmutation and Ascension, page 1

All Creation seeks to return to the Creator.

How consciously aware are you that the eggs and bacon, or yogurt and fruit, you had for breakfast this morning are being transformed and transmuted into flesh and bone and lifted up to a higher vibratory level, seeking a path back to the Creator? A rather lofty thought to begin one’s day . . . and why not?

Well, at least some of our food’s essences ascend.  What can’t ascend falls back down as ash in order to participate further in Creation. The principle at work here is all things seek to return to their origin.  All of Creation seeks to return to the Creator of heaven and earth.  Our planet itself is a crucible for transmutation and ascension with its destination bent towards the Sun, its source of origin—becoming a sun itself.  Our moon is attracted towards its earthly origin, perhaps to become an habitable planet one day.  The elemental world of Creation just seems to want to find its way back to its origin.

According to Walter Russell, who re-invented the Periodic Table of Elements, even the elemental world is exhibiting a continual evolutionary transformation and transmutation, ascending and descending from one vibratory level to the next.

The elements of matter are an orderly and periodic accumulation and redistribution of energy. . . .  Each element is greater in its mass than its predecessor because of the generative power of electricity which acts as a brake against high axial speed and diverts it into accumulating mass.

The very elements that make up our world, then, are illusory and transitory. Iron, for instance, was once manganese, and copper was once gold based on constantly changing frequencies as the ascending spiral of invisible energy arranges and rearranges atoms and molecules in a cymatic shape-shifting creating process. The Periodic Table of Elements itself is but a snapshot of a constantly changing ascending and descending vortex of creating energy. Fascinating, isn’t it!

Stay with me here as I offer you an opportunity to let the windmill of your mind be turned by the wind of Walter Russel’s spirit turning his own mind while delivering his brilliant truth as a scientist whose thinking is far outside the box of conventional science that resists upgrades to its sacred dogmas.  Walter Russell—described by one author as “the man who knew the secrets of the Universe,”—is to elemental science and physics what Immanuel Velikovsky was to earth science and astronomy.  Try not to “think” with your mind as you read this but simply let the current in Russell’s words flow through your mind and find its way into your heart where true thinking and understanding take place.

From THE UNIVERSAL ONE

THE ELEMENTS OF MATTER

The elements of matter are but varying aggregations of corpuscular light units gathered together in systems familiarly known as atoms.  Atomic systems differ from solar and stellar systems solely in dimension.  In substance, structure and appearance they are exactly similar.

It has heretofore been stated that all effects of motion are repetitive.  Mass is an effect of motion and mass is repetitive, with no change whatsoever in its repetition save dimension.  A “bigger” atom such as a solar system is not different from an elemental atom of the same tone in any way but size.  Dimension is purely relative. The law for little mass is the same law as for big mass.

The elements are supposed to be many different substances, each of which is known by a different name.  Each element is supposed to be that one substance and only that.

An atom of mercury or sodium is supposed to be an atom of mercury or sodium which always has been and always will be that and nothing else.

The very foundation stone of modern physics states unequivocally in its explanation of the principles of energy conservation: “Not one particle of matter, however small, may be created or destroyed. All the king’s horses and all the king’s men cannot destroy a pin head.”

Matter constantly progresses through the cycle of disappearance and reappearance.  Every pulsation of thinking Mind brings particles into appearance and relegates others into disappearance.  Matter is evolving and devolving as all other forms of life are evolving and devolving.

A sodium particle is not always a sodium particle. It changes its dimensions in an orderly and periodic manner until it has run the gamut of all the elements of every octave, and returned to its own octave.  A radium article was once a light unit of hydrogen and will be so again.  More than this, an atom of any element actually contains within itself all of the other elements.

An atom of gold is a gold atom in dimension only.  It is not even preponderantly of the substance of gold.  It is everything else in the universe. Everything that is, is of everything else that is.  Nothing is of itself alone.

Consider for a moment an atom of manganese or an atom of iron, both of which are very similar in structure.  Instead of thinking of it as an inconceivable little thing, for the purpose of comparison imagine it magnified until it is as big as this solar system.

One would not think of this vast solar system as an atom of any one of the elements, for one knows that all of the elements are contained within it.  Yet this solar system is either a manganese or an iron atom.  As nearly as the relater can determine without precise mathematical computation and while awaiting calculation of other dimensions it is one or the other of these elements.

Its plane and extension of ecliptic, its color as a tonal system, its tonal syllable in the octave scale, its endothermic relativity as a charging system, its tonal density, temperature and other dimensions, place it within a practical certainty as one of these two elements.

Later, when calculations have been made in accordance with the relater’s formula, the relative age of this system, its exact tonal orbit, its potential position, plane, ecliptic expansion and extension will be exactly known.

This first volume will not, however, be encumbered with mathematics.

The basic principles of motion under which the One living Being functions in His thinking are simple, and simply must they be written down.  The day of the mathematician will come in the adaptation of those principles.

This solar system, being just one huge atom of iron or manganese, let us say, and to our knowledge containing all of the elements of the entire ten octave cycle in their proper proportions, can it not now be clearly seen that the concept of the elements as separate and distinct substances of exact homogeneity throughout their structures, is untenable in this universe of repetitiveness in all of its effects of motion?

Cannot it then be seen that it is not the substance itself which determines its effect as an element but merely its position, and its dimensions, in its octave constant?

Cannot it also be clearly seen that the substance of the element for which it has been named is not even preponderant in its own element?

This solar system, which is true to plane as iron or manganese, is not preponderantly iron or manganese in its composition. It could not be. It contains vastly larger proportions of many of the other elements and yet some cosmic giant might gather up a handful of such systems as ours, which to him would be a solid, and analyze them in his laboratory as iron or manganese atoms.

Therefore let old concepts of many separate substances be discarded and replaced with the true concept of but the One universal substance of many apparent dimensions, known to man in the language of inner thinking, the language of light.

There is but one cosmic substance.  This One substance appears to be divided into many substances, known as the elements of matter.

The One universal substance first divides itself into the appearance of two opposite states of motion which register as positive and negative elements.

Then two more opposite elements appear. Then two more opposite elements of increasing potential and harder crystallization appear.

The cosmic pendulum then forms one element which registers itself as neither one opposite nor the other but is equally of each; a bisexual element of maximum opposition in all periodicities of motion.

These seven apparently different substances are but different states of motion of the One substance. They are the seven tones of an octave, and there are ten octaves of seven tones each.

In the last four octaves are many mid-tones, each one registering its own state of motion. Man calls those various states of motion of the one substance by many names, and they appear to be many substances. The apparent difference between the many is due solely to difference of motion and not to substance.

Many states of motion are possible, but there are not two substances in the universe. All states of motion are measurable and are under the absolute control of Mind.  As man is Mind, man can, with dawning knowledge of causes, change any one state of motion into any other state of motion, and by so doing transmute any one substance into any other.

The granite rock may become gold, or radium, at the will of man.

THE CRUCIBLE YOU ARE

I love letting my structured thinking become more plastic and fluid so as to meld with Russell’s free-thinking mind.  And where do we human beings fit and function in this ongoing cycle of elemental transmutation and ascension?  That’s where I want to go in this series, and you are welcome to go with me and perhaps see things that I don’t and share what you see.

Have you ever thought of yourself as a crucible for transmutation, for instance?  Crucibles are containers that generate or refocus and channel energy.  With sufficient intensification, creative energy ignites into an ascending flame of transmuting fire—in human beings, angelic fire.  I have personally experienced such a conflagration in and throughout my body with such intensity that I felt my body would catch fire and go up in flames.  It didn’t, of course . . . go up that is. It’s still with me, for now anyway, and until such time as I release it back to return to its earthly origin.  I do expect to transmute some of it to a higher and finer essence and take it with me back Home.  I believe that’s part of our role as incarnate angels: to bring some of the essences of creation—tithes if you will—back to the Creator and giver of life.

Our work as angels incarnate includes transmuting physical substance with the transforming fire of love so that it can ascend to higher vibratory levels. Our body’s digestive and hormonal chemistry and physiology are designed and directed to this end and purpose.  We spend our days and nights transmuting seemingly lifeless raw material into living flesh, and living flesh into mental and emotional levels of energy, and still higher into spiritual essences.  In a word, we live and have our being within the ascending Flame of Love.

Is there further work to be undertaken, then, by us angels incarnate in the larger cycle of the Creative Process to facilitate and move along the complete transmutation of the elements that make up the planet so that the earth itself and its inhabitants can move gracefully in the ascending and unifying Flame of Love? I believe there is.

I invite you to take an inspirational journey with me through the sacred terrain of the physical body as seen by the angels who incarnate on earth to live and experience their divinity in the flesh, bone and blood of the human temple. This blog journey will take us into a rather profound and prophetic consideration of our destiny as Earthlings on a planet that is shifting frequency in order to adapt to the Fourth Density it has already entered, rocking the boat, so to speak, of human existence.  Hold onto your seats—or let go to the inevitability of radical shifts in our experience of reality. Our species is undergoing a complete vibrational upgrade.

As always, I welcome thoughts and comments from my readers. I will continue in this series next weekend when I will reveal in poetic detail how these biblical temples reflect the design inherent in our physical bodies. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

Remembering Paradise . . . Finale

Whether it happened or not I do not know; but if you think about it, you can see that it is true. —Black Elk

I will bring this series to a close with excerpts from Richard Heinberg’s MEMORIES AND VISIONS OF PARADISE, including his Epilogue .

This haunting memory is found among the myths of the Omaha Indians, who, along with the entire Native American Nation, have held the sacredness of their Mother Earth in their hearts and in their culture:

HOLDING THE EARTH SACRED

The Omaha Indians of the North American plains also believed in the heavenly or spiritual preexistence of human beings prior to their appearance on Earth in physical form. “At the beginning,” they say, “all things were in the mind of Wakonda.” All creatures, including man, were spirits. They moved about in space between earth and the stars (the heavens). They were seeking a place where they could come into bodily existence ….  Then they descended to the earth. They saw that it was covered with water. They floated through the air to the north, the east, the south and the west, and found no dry land …. Suddenly from the midst of the water uprose a great rock. It burst into flames and the waters floated into the air in clouds. The hosts of the spirits descended and became flesh and blood. They fed on the seeds of the grasses and the fruits of the trees, and the land vibrated with their expressions of joy and gratitude to Wakonda, the maker of all things.”

A Native American vision from chapter 6 — Prophecy: The Once and Future Paradise

One of the most eloquent modern enunciations of the Native American vision is contained in these words of Hopi elder Dan Katchongva:

Hopi is the bloodline of this continent as others are the bloodline of other continents.  So if Hopi is doomed, the whole world will be destroyed. This we know, because the same thing happened in the other world. So if we want to survive we should go back to the way we lived in the beginning, the peaceful way, and accept everything the Creator has provided for us to follow ….

My father, Yukiuma, used to tell me that I would be the one to take over as leader at this time, because I belong to the [Clan of the] Sun, the father of all the people on the Earth. I was told that I must not give in, because I am the first. The Sun is the father of all living things from the first creation. And if I am done, the Sun Clan, then there will be no living thing left on the Earth. So I have stood fast. I hope you will understand what I am trying to tell you.

I am the Sun, the father. With my warmth all things are created. You are my children, and I am very concerned about you. I hold you to protect you from harm, but my heart is sad to see you leaving my protecting arms and destroying yourselves. From the breast of your mother, the Earth, you receive your nourishment, but she is too dangerously ill to give you pure food. What will it be? Will you lift your father’s heart? Will you cure your mother’s ills? Or will you forsake us and leave us with sadness, to be weathered away? I don’t want this world to be destroyed. If this world is saved, you all will be saved, and whoever has stood fast will complete this plan with us, so that we will all be happy in the Peaceful Way.

And finally, our renown author’s vision and rationale from his EPILOGUE:

DID AN EARTHLY PARADISE ONCE REALLY EXIST, or is it the product of human imagination? Even now, at the end of our investigation, we must acknowledge that this is a problem that may never be settled by archaeologists or anthropologists. On one hand, it is impossible to prove the historical reality of a Golden Age by physical evidence alone; on the other hand, the material evidence by no means rules out the possibility, and the less tangible evidences of myth and culture simply will not allow us to dismiss it. Of course, the answer we settle on depends largely on our definition of what Paradise was, is, or should be.

The myths and traditions of the ancients do not portray Eden as the sort of technological Paradise that our present civilization tends to project into the future. If the Golden Age really existed, it must instead have been, as the Chinese describe it, an Age of Perfect Virtue — an age in which

they were upright and correct, without knowing that to be so was righteousness; they loved one another, without knowing that to do so was benevolence; they were honest and leal-hearted without knowing that it was loyalty; they fulfilled their engagements, without knowing that to do so was good faith; in their simple movements they employed the services of one another, without thinking that they were conferring or receiving any gift. Therefore their actions left no trace, and there was no record of their affairs. . . .

Of course, there may be some trace of the First People’s actions in Mysterious ancient megaliths, and some record of their affairs may be preserved in myth and legend. Nevertheless, these are fragmentary and ephemeral clues. And yet the vision of Paradise—be it distorted, misunderstood, or even imaginary—has somehow insinuated itself into the vital core of every religious movement and every culture’s literature and social ideals. Whatever the myth’s origin—historical reality or mass delusion—it now has a life of its own in the collective unconscious.

The principal thesis presented here—which is really only a restatement in modern terms of what spiritual teachers have been saying for millennia—is that the memory of Paradise represents an innate IPO and universal longing for a state of being that is natural and utterly fulfilling, but from which we have somehow excluded ourselves. Perhaps our most useful new clue to this lost state of being is contained in he modern study of altered states of consciousness and, in particular, of the near-death experience. The essence of Paradise is, as we have seen, equivalent to what various traditions have termed nirvana, ecstasy, divine union, and cosmic consciousness. It is the condition of the absence of the separate human ego with all its defenses, aggressions, and categories of judgment.

This interpretation may seem like an obvious one, but it has been only recently that developments in several disciplines have made it so. In the field of psychology, for example, the systematic study of alternate states of consciousness did not really begin until this century, and the greatest advances have taken place only within the last twenty years. In anthropology, it has also been only in recent decades that we have come to respect the wisdom of tribal peoples and to take seriously their beliefs about the nature of reality. The field of comparative religion—which has opened a view to the fundamental similarities of the core teachings of all spiritual traditions—has likewise only begun to come of age. All of these developments converge, enabling us to leave behind both the dogmatic religious ideas of the Middle Ages and the simplistic evolutionary assumptions of the last century. We are thus free to attain a new vision not only of the mythic past, but also of our own miraculous potentialities in the present and future.

One of my purposes in writing this book has been to bring together the principle myths of Paradise, Fall, catastrophe, and purification. But another was to recall the texture and nuance of the spiritual worldview of ancient and tribal peoples. Their perspective, so at odds with our modern way of looking at things, may contain some of the very elements that we in postindustrial civilization need if we are to build a sustainable, regenerative culture.

We are living not in a static world that affords us endless time for leisurely academic discussion, but in one that is busily undermining its own biological viability. We have lost our sense of proportion, our sense of the fitness of things, and our sense of being contained within a greater Knowing that provides our lives with meaningful context, and to which we are responsible not only for our actions but for our motives and values as well. We have lost, in short, the sense of the sacred. The Paradise myth is the account of this loss of the sacred dimension, this loss of innocence. And if it contains clues to help us
understand why we have come to this precarious juncture in history and how we may go about regaining what we have left behind, then a retelling of the story may now be a worthy undertaking.

Somehow the timing of this retelling seems to have an almost apocalyptic significance of its own. Many generations have felt that they were seeing the culmination of history, but never has any generation had better reasons for feeling this way. Perhaps we are indeed living in the time prophesied in every tradition, when the profane world of human history and the miraculous world of myth are to be somehow reunited.

We seem to have come very far indeed from the state of innocence and communion with Nature described in the Paradise myths. Depletion of the Earth’s ozone layer, pollution of water and air, loss of topsoil and forest cover, the greenhouse effect, and mass extinctions of species all bespeak a way of existence tragically out of touch with the pulse of the planet on which we live. And burgeoning crime, mental illness, and drug abuse seem to signal some deep estrangement of society from the nourishing aspirations of the human spirit.

Our world is filled with complex political, economic, social, and environmental problems. Yet we cannot expect to solve these problems without first addressing the values and motives that produced them. And how are we to approach the clarification of human values and motives? Surely, we must look to the human psyche itself–that mysterious realm whose suprarational powers and dynamics find first expression in myths, dreams and visions. We are presented therefore with the apparently paradoxical likelihood that the examination of ancient and seemingly irrational stories may be one of the most practical pursuits available to us in the modern world.

Perhaps, if we are willing to become partners once again with Heaven and Nature in the realization of an already existing design that transcends self-centered human purposes, then memory and vision may converge in a realized Paradise in which the tensions that presently bedevil us—tensions between humanity and Nature, heart and mind—may be dissolved in a universal spirit of accord. If we can hear and obey a voice from the timeless source of myths and dreams, there may open before us an age not of technologically engineered comfort and prosperity, but of miraculous beginnings—a new Creation-Time. And perhaps it is only the mysterious power of Creation itself that will permit us to survive, and at last to fully live.Fin

I hope you have enjoyed this series as much as I have enjoyed creating and presenting it. By some of the comments I received, I know that Richard Heinberg’s thoughts and visions found resonance with several. MEMORIES AND VISIONS OF PARADISE, along with his several other books, are available at Amazon.com. For a more current Heinberg vision and perspective, view the video clip below.

As always, I welcome your thoughts and comments by email. Until my next post, already in the hopper,

Paradise Remembered, part 4: Return to Grace, Stature and Dominion

“For in the day thou shalt eat thereof thou shalt surely die.”   Genesis

As I watch this coronavirus “pandemic” consume fearful minds and hearts, and hear the daily tally of the numbers of those infected and dying, I marvel at the resilience of the human spirit that consistently and predictably rises to the occasion in the presence of a common threat—real or only perceived.

At the same time, I also marvel at the level to which Man has fallen from the grace, stature and dominion over creation we once shared with our Creator and enjoyed in the Beginning when we were divinely created and fashioned and given a Garden of Paradise to call Home and habitat.  Not that we haven’t been given ample opportunities to repent of our aberrant ways and restore Paradise, because we have.

Such an opportunity is with us now in this global crisis that has halted us in our tracks and shut down our survival-and-greed-driven self-activity.  From what I’ve been seeing on social media and the news, there seems to be an awakening to this opportunity in many and an expressed intention, if not commitment, to not return to “business-as-usual” when this pandemic is over.  Some have noticed, as I have, that the level of air pollution has dropped considerably—as much as fifty-percent here in the US according to a recent national weather report—and noise reduction is pleasantly noted as well.  Wow! What an eye-opener and blessing this crisis is giving us just in these two results of reduced human activity on the planet! Not to mention the social impact globally.

This pandemic can be seen as humanity’s 9/11—but it doesn’t come without a caveat that we not to be deceived by the “trickster” yet again.  The caveat in this episode is “Follow the money.”  As someone wrote in a social media post a few days ago, “If you don’t use your mind, someone else will use it for you.” So, let’s use our minds and do our own research, and not follow the proverbial herd of sheep over the cliff.  Fear paralyzes our ability to think for ourselves. (See the video clip below and learn how Science is manipulating the human genetic material in order to control the human population.)

Along these lines, I received  a rather thought-full commentary, entitled THE VAST MAN. from one of my blog followers “across the pond,” as they say in the UK, Peter Watson, a portion of which I will share and see where it takes us:

THE VAST MAN

Logic and reason would suggest that original man, male and female, would have been of far greater stature (if designated to ‘have dominion’, as it was put, over Eden), than the human species that now inhabits Earth. Confirming this, we have extensive mythology speaking of gods and goddesses, giants-in-the-land, men of great renown, crowned by the Gods-of-Olympus ruling the first civilization. Also tending to validate the hypothesis of a vast man, male and female, and of greater stature, there is biblical mention of “Sons-of-God”—surely a reference to those designated to ‘have dominion’—who “saw that the daughters of men”—(certainly a reference to the Adam strain produced to till the ground and dress and tend a garden; hardly in the order of having dominion)—“and took unto them all they chose”—not unlike the sheiks and sultans of mankind’s world.

Historically, between the completion of Eden, and the host of original man, male and female, stretches an unrecorded blank, known in mythology as The Golden Age of Man, that spanned the period between the Sixth Solar Day—midway in the First Universal Age [a cycle of 310,464 years]) and the latter millennia of the Twelfth Solar Day (a cycle of nearly 26,000 years)—at which point an unauthorized garden is planted eastwards in Eden, where “there was not a man to till the ground.

In the midst of extraterrestrial upheavals that wiped out and submerged two civilizations, reducing survivors to the cavemen-stage beginning of the present civilization, spans a feasting-ground for extraordinary mythology, including fire-breathing dragons, witches riding their broomsticks across the night sky, and a temporary race of dinosaurs; all hallmarks of globally-acclaimed recognition.

Little or no memory or recognition of the greater portion of man’s history is now available, other than in myths and legends, a state of mind to which professor Velikovsky ascribes amnesia. With NASA’s computing power, and Hubble’s space-penetrating telescope, we can now trace evidence of past upheavals within Sol’s galactic family of planets to confirm such events as the parting of the Red Sea, and the day the Sun and the moon (apparently) stood still in the sky in Joshua’s record. Slowly but surely parts of mythology, extraordinary as it may seem, can now be confirmed.

The “First Time”

The “First Time”—when Man lived in the Garden of Paradise—spanned a considerable length of time before the “Fall” took place and Man, outside the Garden and hiding from the Creator, began to create living things out of his own imagination and physical desires. In her BOOK OF GRACE, Grace Van Duzen writes evocatively about that sad day:

Gen. 6:1,2:  And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

This incident portrays the obsession which engrossed divine Man as he surrendered to the temptation to control the outer planes of his own being for his own pleasure and purposes. It depicts a further step in the Fall, wherein his expression became subject to that over which he was created to have dominion and thus doomed the earth and its people to the fallen state. It lowered the vibratory rate in human beings, so that the physical forms lost much of their power and beauty.

All of this was a reversal of the working of God’s Law. The self-activity which has characterized mankind’s function since that time is described by the act of taking “wives of all which they chose.” The basis for the function of human beings, especially in the most intimate areas (as of “wives”), is that of personal choice, desire, wants, without regard to a design inherent in the divine nature of each one. Described later as the “will of God,” that has a reputation of being something imposed, undesirable, when in fact it is the only possible way of fulfillment, joy and satisfaction.

The reference to “multiplying” indicates the exponential process, with the results of self-obsessed function, divergent from the original state.

Edgar Cayce was a man with a remarkable and accurate ability in the subconscious levels. In a book Edgar Cayce on Atlantis, written by his son Dr. Edgar Evans Cayce, he referred to mankind’s advent in Atlantis:

The first disturbing forces…in the continent [Atlantis], through the application of spiritual things for self-indulgences of material peoples. . .were the periods as termed in the Scripture when “The sons of God looked on the daughters of men, and saw them as being fair.”

He spoke of the “sons of the Law of One” and of the “sons of Belial.” All were created as sons and daughters of the Law of One. It was the departure from that One Law, indulging in union with the “sons of Belial,” the devil or the wrong use of the serpent in the tree that produced all the misery in the world.

That state included the introduction of slavery, “servitude to many through the aggrandizing of those things that pertained to the gratification of material things, material desires in the body.”

Gen. 6:3-22:  And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

This verse declares the drastic change in human form and substance” for that he also is flesh,” accompanied by the reduction in his life span. Rejection of the ordained process of birth and ascension resulted in the gradual decrease from approximately thousand-year cycles to “an hundred and twenty years.” There was the transition from a high vibrational substance to what is called flesh. This was recorded previously when it was said that God made them “coats of skins.”

The bodies of human beings as originally created were formed “of the dust of the ground,” the purpose being to utilize the substance of this planet to create a vehicle for the Lord’s dominion in this part of the cosmos. It was the absorption of the consciousness at the physical level that interfered with the vital control from the higher planes, described as “my spirit, saith the Lord.” This reversed the upward movement of the “living soul” to a dying one.

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

[The process of the Fall was literally clothing evil thought-forms with Earth’s substance: “heaven and earth” became “heaven and hell.”]

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

With His creation in this part of the cosmos at a crucial point, it appeared to the Lord that it might not survive the inevitable working of the Law, resulting from man’s own wrong function, pictured as the Lord destroying man.  All of Earth’s kingdoms are dependent upon the outcome of man’s advent on this planet: “both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air.” It was obvious that without a change in man, in the “thoughts of his heart,” this glorious creation would self-destruct. The function of the mind (serpent) is the vital key in the restoration of mankind, which is not separate from the heart, the emotions, the passion which is the substance of first form, as palpable in the subconscious level as the more familiar physical one. When that is “continually evil” the material form and atmosphere cannot be otherwise.

My attention was piqued as I read “The process of the Fall was literally clothing evil thought-forms with Earth’s substance: ‘heaven and earth’ became ‘heaven and hell.’” That’s still going on today. Scientists exercise little restraint and take presumed license in their laboratories toying around with they-know-not-what.  Yet does curiosity and desire for fame and fortune compel them onward in their search for the Pulitzer-prize-winning discovery of the day. “Let us make things in the image and likeness of the thoughts and imaginings of our own hearts and minds.”  Those imaginings and thoughts are to this day “only evil continually.” And this self-activity is not limited to science alone but is going on everywhere—in commercial agriculture, for instance.

Consider, for example, the DNA Sequence recently deciphered, and the tampering of the genome to produce genetically altered foods, even clone animals.  The spiraling DNA helix can be seen as a “tree of the knowledge of good and evil”–or evol.  We were warned not to even touch it, much less eat of its fruit?  The “fruit” would be the end product of genetic engineering, which has had deadly consequences.  “For in the day thou shalt eat thereof thou shalt surely die.”  I think that was a warning rather than a threat by an angry and vengeful God.  To this day our lying serpentine mind whispers “Thou shalt not surely die.”

Some have speculated that this virus may have been created in a laboratory and escaped by accident. I rather suspect that man’s perpetration and rape of the Earth’s natural resources has triggered a global immune response from the Natural World.  Earth is, after all, a living, breathing entity. A viral pandemic could well be her way of giving us pause to reconsider our chosen way or living—or dying.  Let us face the fact that whatever is not in harmony with, and strives against, the Natural Order is constantly being undone and eliminated from the Earth. We fight it to our peril. Yielding to the Natural Order, we live—hopefully to restore benevolent grace, noble stature and loving dominion to Man, God’s representative in this corner of the Universe.

I will close with these uplifting words of Grace:

The creation of this planet and its inhabitants was unique in the cosmos, with a very special function in the solar system. Man is created with the ability to let the control of the cosmos, “God Almighty,” be operative on Earth, and consequently have vital impact in the entire solar system.

With that, I will leave you to your own thoughts and meditations.  Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved

Archetypes, Gods and Planets and The Evolution of Consciousness

“The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof: the world and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.” (Psalm 24)

The Heart Nebula

Our conscious presence in a cosmic context has been more vividly and visually brought to our awareness, as well as recalled to remembrance, by pictures of the vast cosmos made with the Hubble Telescope and shared with the world by our tenaciously adventurous astronomers who keep peering deeper and deeper into the “dark space” around us.

What they have brought to us is virtually overwhelming, certainly unfathomable. The greater wonder of it all, however, is our ability to take it all into our consciousness through our very tiny eyes and our very tiny brains. This speaks to the largeness of our Being and our shared Consciousness. We are truly Gods in the midst of Creation enjoying what We have co-created with the Great Spirit Creator, the Lord God and heavenly King, whose Earth it is, “and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.”

ARCHETYPES, GODS AND PLANETS

With that inspirational preface, I will continue from where I left off in my previous post with a consideration of the nature of archetypes and their planetary associations as explored by cultural historian and philosopher Richard Tarnas in his epic work COSMOS AND PSYCHE.

[A graduate of Harvard University and Saybrook Institute, Tarnas is also author of The Passion Of The Western Mind, currently holding professorship of philosophy and cultural history at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where he founded the graduate program in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness, and at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara.]

As we were considering, archetypes in Greek mythology were gods and goddesses who were enshrined by heavenly bodies, such as planets and constellations. As the Greek mind evolved out of “myth to reason,” archetypes lost their divinity with Plato’s philosophical mentality: (Emphasis mine)

Plato gave to the archetypal perspective its classic metaphysical formulation. In the Platonic view, archetypes–the Ideas or Forms–are absolute essences that transcend the empirical world yet give the world its form and meaning. They are timeless universals that serve as the fundamental reality informing every concrete particular. Something is beautiful precisely to the extent that the archetype of Beauty is present in it. Or, described from a different viewpoint, something is beautiful precisely to the extent that it participates in the archetype of Beauty. For Plato, direct knowledge of these Forms or Ideas is regarded as the spiritual goal of the philosopher and the intellectual passion of the scientist.

In turn, Plato’s student and successor Aristotle brought to the concept of universal forms a more empiricist approach, one supported by a rationalism whose spirit of logical analysis was secular rather than spiritual and epiphanic. In the Aristotelian perspective, the forms lost their numinosity but gained a new recognition of their dynamic and teleological character as concretely embodied in the empirical world and processes of life. For Aristotle, the universal forms primarily exist in things, not above or beyond them. Moreover, they not only give form and essential qualities to concrete particulars but also dynamically transmute them from within, from potentiality to actuality and maturity, as the acorn gradually metamorphoses into the oak tree, the embryo into the mature organism, a young girl into a woman. The organism is drawn forward by the form to a realization of its inherent potential, just as a work of art is actualized by the artist guided by the form in the artist’s mind. Matter is an intrinsic susceptibility to form, an unqualified openness to being configured and dynamically realized through form….

The Aristotelian form thus serves both as an indwelling impulse that orders and moves development and as the intelligible structure of a thing, its inner nature, that which makes it what it is, its essence. For Aristotle as for Plato, form is the principle by which something can be known, its essence recognized, its universal character distinguished within its particular embodiment.

The idea of archetypal or universal forms then underwent a number of important developments in the later classical, medieval and Renaissance periods.” It became the focus of one of the central and most sustained debates of Scholastic philosophy, “the problem of universals,” a controversy that both reflected and mediated the evolution of Western thought as the focus of intelligible reality gradually shifted from the transcendent to the immanent, from the universal to the particular, and ultimately from the divinely given archetypal Form (eidos) to the humanly constructed general name (nomina) after a final efflorescence in the philosophy and art of the High Renaissance. The concept of archetypes gradually retreated and then virtually disappeared with the modern rise of nominalist philosophy and empiricist science. The archetypal perspective remained vital principally in the arts, in classical and mythological studies, and in Romanticism, as a kind of archaic afterglow. Confined to the subjective realm of interior meaning by the dominant Enlightenment world view, it continued in this form latent in the modern sensibility. The radiant ascent and dominance of modern reason coincided precisely with the eclipse of the archetypal vision.

The concept of archetypes evolved further over the decades, which Tarnas details further. I will conclude with his summary of its evolutionary journey:

It was not until the turn of the twentieth century that the concept of archetypes, foreshadowed by Nietzsche’s vision of the Dionysian and Apollonian principles shaping human culture, underwent an unexpected renascence. The immediate matrix of its rebirth was the empirical discoveries of depth psychology, first with Freud’s formulations of the Oedipus complex, Eros and Thanatos, ego, id, and superego (a “powerful mythology,” as Wittgenstein called psychoanalysis), then in an expanded, fully articulated form with the work of Jung and archetypal psychology. Jung, as we have seen, drawing on Kant’s critical epistemology and Freud’s instinct theory yet going beyond both, described archetypes as autonomous primordial forms in the psyche that structure and impel all human experience and behavior. In his last formulations influenced by his research on synchronicities, Jung came to regard archetypes as expressions not only of a collective unconscious shared by all human beings but also of a larger matrix of being and meaning that informs and encompasses both the physical world and the human psyche….

Finally, further developments of the archetypal perspective emerged in the postmodern period, not only in post-Jungian psychology but in other fields such as anthropology; mythology, religious studies, philosophy of science, linguistic analysis, phenomenology, process philosophy, and feminist scholarship. Advances in understanding the role of paradigms, symbols, and metaphors in shaping human experience and cognition brought new dimensions to the archetypal understanding. In the crucible of postmodern thought, the concept of archetypes was elaborated and critiqued, refined through the deconstruction of rigidly essentialist “false universals” and cultural stereotypes, and enriched through an increased awareness of archetypes’ fluid, evolving, multivalent, and participatory nature. Reflecting many of the above influences, James Hillman sums up the archetypal perspective in depth psychology:

Let us then imagine archetypes as the deepest patterns of psychic functioning, the roots of the soul governing the perspectives we have of ourselves and the world. They are the axiomatic, self-evident images to which psychic life and our theories about it ever return …. There are many other metaphors for describing them: immaterial potentials of structure, like invisible crystals in solution or forms in plants that suddenly show forth under certain conditions; patterns of instinctual behavior like those in animals that direct actions along unswerving paths; the genres and topoi in literature; the recurring typicalities in history; the basic syndromes in psychiatry; the paradigmatic thought models in science; the worldwide figures, rituals, and relationships in anthropology.

But one thing is absolutely essential to the notion of archetypes: their emotional possessive effect, their bedazzlement of consciousness so that it becomes blind to its own stance. By setting up a universe which tends to hold everything we do, see, and say in the sway of its cosmos, an archetype is best comparable with a God. And Gods, religions sometimes say, are less accessible to the senses and to the intellect than they are to the imaginative vision and emotion of the soul. They are cosmic perspectives in which the soul participates. They are the lords of its realms of being, the patterns for its mimesis. The soul cannot be, except in one of their patterns. All psychic reality is governed by one or another archetypal fantasy, given sanction by a God. I cannot but be in them.

There is no place without Gods and no activity that does not enact them. Every fantasy, every experience has its archetypal reason. There is nothing that does not belong to one God or another.

Archetypes thus can be understood and described in many ways, and much of the history of Western thought has evolved and revolved around this very issue. For our present purposes, we can define an archetype as a universal principle or force that affects–impels, structures, permeates–the human psyche and the world of human experience on many levels. One can think of them in mythic terms as gods and goddesses (or what Blake called “the Immortals”), in Platonic terms as transcendent first principles and numinous Ideas, or in Aristotelian terms as immanent universals and dynamic indwelling forms. One can approach them in a Kantian mode as a priori categories of perception and cognition, in Schopenhauerian terms as the universal essences of life embodied in great works of art, or in the Nietzschean manner as primordial principles symbolizing basic cultural tendencies and modes of being. In the twentieth-century context, one can conceive of them in Husserlian terms as essential structures of human experience, in Wittgensteinian terms as linguistic family resemblances linking disparate but overlapping particulars, in Whiteheadian terms as eternal objects and pure potentialities whose ingression informs the unfolding process of reality, or in Kuhnian terms as underlying paradigmatic structures that shape scientific understanding and research. Finally, with depth psychology, one can approach them in the Freudian mode as primordial instincts impelling and structuring biological and psychological processes, or in the Jungian manner as fundamental formal principles of the human psyche, universal expressions of a collective unconscious and, ultimately, of the unus mundus.

The Evolution of Human Consciousness

I bring this consideration of archetypes and the evolution of their meaning to the human experience of life on planet Earth forward for the overview it provides of the evolution of human consciousness and how we human beings viewed the larger cosmic context in which we live and have our being. For one thing, how we have desperately sought out God and our origins in the external world, hoping to find both “lo here or lo there.”

Finally, after all these decades, our consciousness has evolved sufficiently to bring to our awareness the awakening realization that the “image and likeness of God” is within us and is who and what we are.  The Archetype of all archetypes is the Light from which all things are made. I love this passage from The Gospel of Thomas:

Jesus said: “The images are revealed to people. The light within them is hidden in the image of the Father’s light. He will be revealed. His image is hidden in the light. . . .  You are pleased when you see your own likeness. When you see your images that came into being before you did, immortal, invisible images, how much can you bear?”

The Archetype of Man is God, is Spirit, and is hidden in the Light of Love. Our Sun is the origin of the light that encompasses Earth and all the planets. In that light is the essence, the Truth, that makes all things created what they are, what their purpose is in the larger Design, and how they function as integral and essential parts in the One Whole.  As the current planetary alignment draws to a close in six day on February 20th, let us let Love be the Archetypal Spirit that moves us forward as we co-create the New Earth.

I will conclude this series with my next post. Until then,

Be Love. Be loved.

Happy Valentine’s Day !

Our Cymatic Universe: Shaped by “The Music of the Spheres”

“If you wish to understand the universe, think of energy, frequency and vibration.” –Tesla

As those who follow my blog know, I encompass many aspects and areas of life on planet Earth. Lately I’ve been exploring the heavens and cosmic influence of the planets upon human consciousness and behavior, having recently read Richard Tarnas’s epic book COSMOS AND PSYCHE — Intimations of a New World View, in which he examines the impact of planetary alignments and their archetypal influence on human consciousness and historical events.  In this post, I will share my thoughts on how this influence works on the basis of acoustic cymatics, the shaping of matter by sound vibrations.  Let me first define and demonstrate what cymatics is.

Our Cymatic Universe

Cymatics is the science of sound made visible. It is based on the principle that when sound encounters a membrane such as your skin or the surface of water, it imprints an invisible pattern of energy. In other words, the periodic vibrations in the sound sample are converted and become periodic water ripples, creating beautiful geometric patterns that reveal the once invisible realm of sound. If we could see the sounds around us with our eyes we would see myriads of holographic bubbles, each with a kaleidoscopic-like pattern on its surface. (John Stuart Reed)

Below is a picture graphic of cymatic images created by sounds, specifically the first octave of twelve piano notes with which all of our music here in the West is composed. (Right click on the image to open in a new tab for magnified viewing.)

For a real treat, click on this link for a five-minute demonstration of cymatics created by music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_e-vhGbqFQ

In my book ATTUNEMENT WITH SACRED SOUND–The Magical Use of Sound in Energy Work and Healing, there’s an entire section devoted to this topic. (For a copy of my book, send me your request by email. Price with local postage is $40.)

Sound Bubbles

Vibrations move out from their source in all directions. The picture below, along with this excerpt from my book, demonstrate and describes this phenomenon.

The term “sound wave” tends to create in the mind’s eye an image of a wave of sound, rather like a water ripple, moving vibrations of air molecules toward your ear in a wave-like motion when, in reality, sound does not propagate as a wave but moves out from its source spherically with one small part of the sphere’s leading edge reaching your ear. According to acoustic physics researcher, John Stuart Reid, all sounds that humans hear propagate in this way. He calls these spheres “sound bubbles” and they carry the sound by contracting and expanding according to its pitch (if it is a musical sound) or its frequency. The violin bubble image (above) demonstrates this principle graphically, illustrating a musical note emerging from a violin. (More about John Stuart Reid’s work can be found at his website, Cymascope.com.

Causality and Correlation

Richard Tarnas queries the causality and correlations in his research, asking how planetary alignments impact our psyche? What is the nature of the medium by which their influence is transmitted? (Highlights mine)

In the modern era, with the dominant Cartesian-Newtonian paradigm in the background of all thought and discourse on the subject, considerable confusion has been produced by the conventional scientific attempt to interpret—and thus reject the possibility of—astrological correspondences within a modern mechanistic cosmological framework. In effect, the Cartesian-Newtonian standpoint led to a single simple question that, within its framework, was regarded as decisive for the issue of astrology’s validity: How can the planets influence events on the Earth if no physical forces have been observed that could cause those events ?  . . . . To a great extent the question of physical planetary influence reflected the residual strength of materialist and mechanistic assumptions in contemporary scientific thought, even after the conceptual shifts introduced by quantum physics. Physical forces represented the only kind of relationship that could be imagined to exist between celestial bodies and human life. This approach to astrology also, less obviously, reflected certain lingering literalist and mechanistic tendencies in the astrological tradition itself that made it vulnerable to a reductionist critique after the ancient Ptolemaic-Aristotelian cosmology was rejected and replaced by Newtonian science. Above all, however, the modern dismissal of astrology reflected the virtually universal modern conviction that the cosmos was disenchanted.

Given the nature of the evidence now known, it is difficult to imagine any physical factor that could serve as the ultimate source or medium of the observed astrological correlations. At least on the basis of the principal categories of data I have examined, it seems to me highly unlikely that the planets send out physical emanations, like electromagnetic radiation, that causally influence events in human life in a mechanistic way so as to produce the observed correlations. The range of correspondences between planetary positions and human existence is just too vast and multidimensional—too manifestly ordered by structures of meaning, too suggestive of creative intelligence, too vividly informed by aesthetic patterning, too metaphorically multivalent, too experientially complex and nuanced, and too responsive to human participatory inflection—to be explained by straightforward material factors alone. Given as well the consistent nature of correlations involving the Sun, the Moon, and all the planets of the solar system from Mercury and Venus to Neptune and Pluto, irrespective of their size or distance from Earth, any causal factor resembling gravitational influence seems to be equally improbable.

I believe that a more plausible and comprehensive explanation of the available evidence would rest on a conception of the universe as a fundamentally and irreducibly interconnected whole, informed by creative intelligence and pervaded by patterns of meaning and order that extend through every level, and that are expressed through a constant correspondence between astronomical events and human events. Such a view is concisely reflected in the Hermetic axiom “as above, so below,” which describes a universe all of whose parts and dimensions are integrated into an intelligible whole. In the perspective I am suggesting here, reflecting the dominant trend in contemporary astrological theory, the planets do not “cause” specific events any more than the hands on a clock “cause” a specific time. Rather, the planetary positions are indicative of the cosmic state of archetypal dynamics at that time. The words of Plotinus, the most influential philosopher of later classical antiquity, speak directly to this understanding:

The stars are like letters which inscribe themselves at every moment in the sky. … Everything in the world is full of signs …. All events are coordinated. . . . All things depend on each other; as has been said, “Everything breathes together.”

I resonate with his perspective. As one reads through Tarnas’s book, one is made aware of the progressive changes in human consciousness and the developments of civilizations, one development leading to another from century to century in perfect sequence and synchronicity with repeating cycles of planetary alignments.  We have been moved along the path of evolution by a Universal Intelligence, if you will, playing, upgrading and rewriting the “Music of the Spheres.”

The questions that arises in my mind are “What did Hermes imply when he envisioned the axiom ‘As above, so below’?”  Was he thinking only in terms of a physical universe, with the stars and planets “above” and the earth “below,” or was he envisioning a spiritual, vibrational causal dimension above this physical manifestation of a Divine order and harmony infusing and shaping the cosmos?  And is the enchantment of the universe inspired by the presence of a Divine Entity or merely by figments of human imagination projected upon the dark screen of outer space? Or perhaps a combination of both?

I envision a “unified field” of spirit clothed by form, of a Creator outfitted by Creation, bringing the inaudible Music of the Realms of Light into the audible realm of form, orchestrating and playing the “Music of the Spheres” upon the stars in the heavens and the planets orbiting our Star in the Milky Way Galaxy.

Cymatic Archetypal Patterning

Here is my contribution to Richard Tarnas’s exhaustive research into the repetitive coincidences of planetary alignments and global events and human behavior . . . and, most significantly, human evolution.

Vibrational imprints upon the sea of human consciousness, produced by Zodiac constellations and planets in various configurations of alignment, may well be what give rise to the archetypal patterns of subtle energy that tend to shape human behavior and historical events, both personal and social—all on the basis of the principle of resonance.

As is demonstrated in the cymatic graphics above, sound, vibrations, energy, when impacting the sea of the collective consciousness of humanity, create kaleidoscopic-like patterned ripples that activate certain archetypal characteristics, their light side as well as their shadow side, which shape and manifest in global events, as well as in individuals born under specific “zodiacal signs” during specific planetary alignments. Their lives and life’s work alter the course of history and move humanity forward in the ongoing cycles of evolution and transformation. All that has gone before has brought us to this moment in time and space in our evolution. The hand of God is firmly upon these cycles. The Tone is sounding at its source in our Sun moving out to create resonant vibrations in all the planets. When they align, their collective vibrations and combined “music” bring about changes in the cymatic pattern on the surface of the human consciousness and consequently in human behavior; changes in our Earth and in all life on the planet.  Our Universe is shaped by the Tone sounding in the Music of the Spheres.

Notice I did not say “predetermine” or “predestine” human behavior, but only “shape.” There is still free will and personal choice in our determinations and behavior, a topic I will entertain shortly in another post.

Evolution Driven by Sound Vibrations

Evolution is in the hands of Divine Providence who sets forth the “ordinances of heaven.” How the ordinances of heaven are “set in the earth” is on the basis of vibrations, sound, the “Music of the Spheres,” as mathematical physicist Pythagoras described the orchestral symphony of our Universe.

Space is Not a Silent Void

Space is full of sound. All of the Planets and Stars generate radio waves that can be reproduced as sound. Contrary to popular belief, Space is NOT a silent void, there is a lot going on that we cannot see. Some of the stars have beautiful voices, some of them are not so pleasant, but all this represents much more than we can imagine beyond Quantum Physics, so Please Enjoy and Acknowledge. (by JARI)

(The second half of this 18-minute video is a beautiful, uplifting visual and musical meditation on the “Music of the Spheres,” which I know you will enjoy. View it on your expanded screen with auxiliary speakers.)

The Missing Essential Link . . . Restored

However, it is more than sound by which the ordinances of heaven are set in the earth. From the Beginning, it has been ordained by the Divine Design of Man that the ordinances of heaven be set in the earth by way of Man’s Consciousness polarized upward in Divine Consciousness and in oneness with the Creator.  This essential link and interface between heaven and earth has been missing . . . until now.  We are awakening to our rightful place in the Divine Design for Man and our role in the Creative Process.  Human consciousness is once again becoming available to and engaged with the Creator of the New Heaven and the emerging New Earth.  A reminder of this Divine ordination has been handed down to us — as my friend noted in his letter featured in my previous post — in what is called “The Lord’s Prayer” by these oft-repeated words: “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”— which will provide topic for a future post. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

“Cosmos And Psyche” page 3 . . . Mazzaroth and Original Man

“Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season?” (Job)

In this series I am exploring the heavens and cosmic influence of the stars and planets upon human consciousness and behavior, sharing excerpts from Richard Tarnas’s book COSMOS AND PSYCHE — Intimations of a New World View.  I must acknowledge that the current alignment of five planets is having a noticeable impact on my mental and emotional realms. I’ve been experiencing what I would describe as the “Job syndrome” of disillusionment and discouragement, along with a deep sadness about the human condition, globally and especially here in America where we are so divided. On the plus side, cosmic energy is greatly intensified, accelerating the rhythms of transformation and ascension of consciousness. This alignment will last until February 20, 2020, so hold on to your seat.

The Book of Job has been my favorite Old Testament read.  At a hauntingly deep level, I identify with the story or Job. From what I was taught in Bible class many years ago, Job was not a single individual but rather a people, a remnant of the inhabitants of Eden, who, in spite of much tribulation after leaving Paradise, Job continued to call upon the Lord. When the Lord did finally answer Job, it was “out of the whirlwind,” and his answer was in the manner of a reproach to Job and his three friends after much complaining, useless advice and arguments had passed between them:

“Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hath understanding . . . Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened; or who laid the cornerstone thereof; When the morning stars sang together and the sons of God shouted for joy?”

These questions have haunted me over the years — like we’re supposed to know the answers to them, and the many questions that follow in this encounter between Job and the Lord . . . such as:

“Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?” (Job 38:31-33)

The cosmos holds much history for Man to remember.  Job is/we are being queried and challenged in this passage about things relating to stars and constellations in the heavens.  Arcturus, for example, is a giant red star that travels around in the Milky Way Galaxy and enters our immediate neighborhood every nine-hundred years. It’s presently in the constellation of Bootes. I think of Arcturus as being a giant tuning fork that goes around tuning up his countless suns in the galaxy, similar to the violin and oboe used to tune up the orchestra before a performance. The Music of the Spheres is kept in tune and on Tone by Arcturus — my thoughts only of course.

I’ve recently learned that the Hebrew word for the Zodiac is Mazzaroth, the original divine science of what has devolved into modern-day astrology; and the constellations of the Pleiades and Orion, that play pivotal roles in the steadfast positioning of our solar system in the galaxy, exert a magnetic gravitational influence on our sun and the entire solar system.

Then there are questions about the natural world over which Man was given dominion; about animals he actually named, even created. Apparently Job had forgotten his role in God’s Creation, which is Man’s creation as well, and he was being cajoled and pushed by the Lord to remember and reconnect with his origins and with the Creator.

Man at one time knew and engaged the Science of Mazzaroth. I spell “Man” with a capital M for a reason. Original Man, made in the image and likeness of God, has long been absent from Paradise. What we are today, and who we are in outer form, is a remnant of Original Man now fallen from grace and stature, disconnected from Divine Consciousness and from the natural world, itself being in a fallen state.

However, these outer forms are not who we are.  They are but vehicles for our incarnation as divine beings — “sons of God” who once “shouted for joy” when the “morning stars sang together.” Original Man is a spiritual being, made in the image and likeness of God, who is a spirit. These earthen forms are, by design and function, temples for the presence of the Spirit of God on earth. They are not Man. Man is a spiritual entity who is embodied by the entire solar system, as I considered in a previous post.

There’s obviously a lot more to this scenario and Biblical story than what has been handed down to us. However, this is far too controversial a subject for a blog. Suffice it to say there is another story in Genesis not being told by our Biblical scholars, perhaps not even recognized.

Along this line of thought, I received an interesting letter in response to my last post from a friend and fellow wayfarer, Peter Watson. With his permission, I will share it here, as he articulates essences that preempted where I was headed in this series. So, without further introduction, here is Peter’s letter:

Dear Tony, it is indeed a great pleasure, and a privilege to read and resonate with the thoughts of others in agreement.

Having been hoodwinked by the subtlety of the trickster, (and seen how others are blindly led, by patriotism, to commit atrocities of war), a thoughtful person becomes wary of profiteering politicians with good intentions that defy the wise commandment to “love thy neighbor.” We are, after all, one race of people on one planet, sharing the same sacred blessing of one life.

How humanity became divided by the trickster is still undoubtedly a mystery, since so many otherwise decent young people are still easily led astray, to indulge in acts of violence, against neighbors they have never met, and would probably treat honorably as friendly guests in non-political and non-denominational encounters.

I’d venture to say it is the true nature of all people to be as little children in a school playground when first meeting others of different creeds and colours. What happens to trick people into thinking otherwise, and adopt fiendish attitudes, between the playground and the killing-fields should be exposed ASAP if humanity is to somehow avoid extinction by self-destruction.

Just think of the waste of time, energy, and material-resources that would be eliminated if the arms-race could be officially ended in a tie, leaving the fear-motivation to die!

We can pin-point that motivation, which so easily leads nice decent young people astray, to indulge in acts of violence against neighbors they have never met, by honestly seeing the point at which seeds of hatred originate. It is not at all hidden, and in plain view for everyone to see as and when we expose it to the light-of-truth. You’ve got it, if you’re on the same thought-wavelength; it’s the human heart, right at the centre of the emotional realm. And you’ve said it Tony, “We have ventured inward to explore the realm of spirit and consciousness, only to realize there’s an invisible One around which the Cosmos and all of Creation orbits—and the “ordinances of heaven” are being set in the earth by this One without our help or interference.

This is certainly so at a microscopic level, on up through the mineral kingdom, and to some extent in the kingdom of vegetation, but above that, in the animal kingdom where many pedigree species survive by tooth and claw, the ordained reflection of the One-who-dwells – the creative-animator – our ordinances-of-heaven become blurred and eclipsed by human diversion.

Unbeknown to humanity-in-amnesia (and we shall need to look into the origin of that state at some point to see the past cause sustaining the ongoing low-consciousness syndrome), the purpose-of-consciousness, and indeed the purpose of the miraculous capacity of the human mind it encompasses, remain to be properly understood.

Job, as rightful representative of the remnant of man in his true stature, is asked several questions – relating to cosmic consciousness — which some theologists have assumed is God’s way of mocking and belittling mankind. And, where consciousness is at such a low ebb-and-flow, it’s an entirely logical and reasonable view of how far mankind has fallen, from the grace and stature of original man, male and female made in the image and likeness of God, to the warring creature who’s highest aspiration is a dust-to-dust reunion, and which apparently is all it merits since it insists upon riding the satanic merry-go-round (eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we die), in the carnival-of-death.

That mortal material merry-go-round is an apt adage of the fallen state-of-consciousness, in which humanity worships it knows not what, instead of being in the peaceful and sweet creative consciousness of the One who dwells.

During the Golden Age of Man, prior to the initial disruption and the subsequent patterns of civilization attempting to be as God, and starting with an unordained garden eastwards in God’s Eden in which “there was not a man”, Man, male and female, shared the consciousness of God, knew the ordinances of heaven, and so of course set the dominion thereof in the earth, thus realizing and manifesting the will of God in heaven on earth, precisely as should and would occur if so-called Christians understood, and admitted into consciousness, the sacred meaning of the Lord’s Prayer.

Instead, religion and politics have been used to sow seeds of hatred rather than love, and science is devoted to exonerate, or at least mitigate, the unholy mess mankind thrives and dies in.

However seeds of hatred cannot originate in the heart unless they slyly slip by the unsuspecting and naive mind. Political and religious emotional manipulations are the two main tools in the armoury of the trickster.

Why should we not also be conscious of a dynamic state of oneness between the human psyche and the cosmos?” Only due to non-participation in the way life works, as personified by the prophets, and of course demonstrated by man in his true stature during the Golden Age, before the imitation garden where the first labor-intensive slave was fashioned from the material-realm; much the same as modern labor-saving devices are manufactured, only the dust-of-the-ground creature was animated.

So, while the “ordinances-of-heaven” are being set in the earth (of our earth-forms, else we wouldn’t be here), it is despite human help or interference, whereas it would be so greatly enhanced and accelerated with our understanding cooperation, since that is, after all, the purpose of man. Surely this should focus our greatest endeavor at this particular time, when so much else is coming into the alignment of agreement in heaven on earth.

There’s much to explore and develop further here, and I won’t go there at this time. I do wish to emphasize the temporary nature of the human condition. “This, too, shall pass.” I feel that we are headed toward another Golden Age here on planet Earth. In my next post, I will share my thoughts on how the influence of planetary alignments work to draw forth archetypal patterns of behavior from within the human psyche to move the cycles of transformation and evolution forward. So, stay tuned. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

“Cosmos and Psyche” page 2: Enchanted Universe

“Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?” (Job 38:33)

I enjoy reading books whose authors agree with my way of thinking and resonate with my depth of knowing. Don’t we all? COSMOS AND PSYCHE, authored by Richard Tarnas, is such a book whose author I’ve come to know and regard as a soul brother and kindred spirit. Although he uses large words and long sentences at times, his spirit flows through the lines and between the pages with unfettered authenticity.  He is a joy to read, and I am happy to share that joy here,

AN ENCHANTED UNIVERSE

There was a time when the cosmos was an enchanted world of mythological characters and soulful presence with which human beings enjoyed an intimate relationship and worshipful communion. The “primal mind” this author ascribes to the Greeks, for instance, knew the cosmos as having a soul. That all shifted with the emergence of the “modern mind” which stripped the cosmos of soul and created a cosmology of  a “disenchanted” universe of lifeless matter, as though Earth were the only planet capable of supporting life.  What ignorance and darkened understanding to limit the vital creative energy of Life to organic matter. Life is everywhere and in all things, organic and inorganic!

Here’s an excerpt from the summary chapter of Tanas’s “epoch making” book that speaks to this evolution of our world view.  In this summation, he addresses the issue of coincidences within the context of accumulated data on the compelling evidence of synchronous events in the heavens with unfolding life experiences on earth, along with his own conviction of a “cosmic ordering principle” governed by a “complex creative intelligence.”

Sources of the World Order

In every field of inquiry, an adequate paradigm reveals patterns of coherent relations in what are otherwise inexplicable random coincidences. A good theory makes observed patterns intelligible. As the physicist and philosopher of science P. W. Bridgman famously observed, “coincidences” are what are left over after one has applied a bad theory. In the course of the three decades during which I have examined  correlations between planetary movements and the patterns of human affairs, I found there were simply too many such “coincidences” evident in the data, which were too consistently coherent with the corresponding archetypal principles, and too strongly suggestive of the workings of some form of complex creative intelligence, to assume that they were all meaningless chance anomalies. Plato’s words from his final dialogue, the Laws, when he criticized the disenchanted mechanistic cosmology of the physicists and Sophist philosophers of the preceding century, now seemed to me uncannily prophetic.

The truth is just the opposite of the opinion which once prevailed among men, that the sun and stars are without soul. . . . For in that shortsighted view, the entire moving contents of the heavens seemed to them only stones, earth, and other soulless bodies, though these furnish the sources of the world order.

Yet the data that has now emerged suggests that what Plato called the “world order” is of a special kind. The evidence points to a cosmic ordering principle whose combination of participatory co-creativity, multivalent complexity, and dynamic indeterminacy was not entirely comprehensible to the ancient vision, even a vision as intricate and penetrating as Plato’s. The relationship between the unfolding realities of human life and a dynamic archetypal order reflected in the planetary movements appears to be more fluid and complex, more creatively unpredictable, and more responsive to human intention and quality of consciousness or unconsciousness than was articulated in the classical tradition.

One important task before us, therefore, is to understand the long development that separates Plato’s vision of an archetypal participatory cosmos from our own. Another is to grasp how the nearly pervasive astrological cosmology of classical antiquity, after deeply influencing the medieval and Renaissance imagination, gradually receded in cultural significance and intellectual legitimacy until it came to appear utterly untenable to the modern mind. Yet another task is to seek insight into why it has reemerged in our own time, radically transfigured. Running through all these questions, I believe, is the great mystery of the unfolding Copernican revolution, which seems to have played the role of cosmological vessel and mediator of a vast initiatory process in the evolution of the modern self.

It was Copernicus in 1543 who proposed a heliocentric model of the solar system, positioning the sun near the center of the then known Universe, motionless, with Earth and the other planets orbiting around it in circular paths. It’s an indictment on the human mind’s myopic and self-centered view of the Universe that less than 500 years ago, a cosmic fraction of a second, we thought the sun and all the planets orbited around us here on Earth.

I would say the human race has emerged from Plato’s “cave” and into the light of day. Since discovering the vastness of the macrocosm, and the bottomless microcosm, we have ventured inward to explore the realm of spirit and consciousness, only to realize there’s an invisible One around which the Cosmos and all of Creation orbits—and the “ordinances of heaven” are being set in the earth by this One without our help or interference.

Tarnas concludes his findings:

The current body of accumulated data makes it difficult to sustain the modern assumption that the universe as a whole is best understood as a blind, mechanistic phenomenon of ultimately random processes with which human consciousness is fundamentally incoherent, and in which the Earth and human beings are ultimately peripheral and insignificant. The evidence suggests rather that the cosmos is intrinsically meaningful to and coherent with human consciousness; that the Earth is a significant focal point of this meaning, a moving center of cosmic meaning in an evolving universe, as is each individual human being; that time is not only quantitative but qualitative in character, and that different periods of time are informed by tangibly different archetypal dynamics; and, finally, that the cosmos as a living whole appears to be informed by some kind of pervasive creative intelligence—an intelligence, judging by the data, of scarcely conceivable power, complexity, and aesthetic subtlety, yet one with which human intelligence is intimately connected, and in which it can consciously participate. I believe that a widespread understanding of the potent but usually unconscious archetypal dynamics that coincide with planetary cycles and alignments, both in individual lives and in the historical process, can play a crucial role in the positive unfolding of our collective future….

….I have found the archetypal astrological perspective, properly understood, to be uniquely capable of illuminating the inner dynamics of both cultural history and personal biography. It provides extraordinary insight into the deeper shifting patterns of the human psyche, both individual and collective, and into the complexly participatory nature of human reality. It places the modern mind and the modern self in an altogether new light, radically recontextualizing the modern project. Perhaps most important, it promises to contribute to the emergence of a new, genuinely integral world view, one that, while sustaining the irreplaceable insights and achievements of the modern and postmodern development, can reunite the human and the cosmic, and restore transcendent meaning to both.

The oneness of Heaven and Earth is pretty much a given in today’s modern mind that has been awakened to the reality of a multi-dimensional world. Why should we not also be conscious of a dynamic state of oneness between the human psyche and the cosmos?

Since Richard Tarnas published his research in 2007, there’s been a radical shift in our understanding and experience of the oneness of the New Heaven and the emerging New Earth. We have experienced an exponential ascension of human consciousness in the last decade.  And now, with five planets aligning with the earth this month and through February 20, further transformation and awareness are being given an energetic launch into the new decade.

Will we see a Golden Age dawn in the twenty-first century? Not unless and until we include the natural world in it; a world both above us in the heavens and below us in the earth from which we have divorced ourselves.

“THE WORLD WE STILL HAVE”

I would like to share an excerpt from the SUN of December, 2019, which features a candid and insightful interview by Fred Bahnson with Oregonian “nature writer” Barry Lopez. The title of the article speaks for the essence of the interview: “THE WORLD WE STILL HAVE — Barry Lopez on restoring our lost intimacy with Nature.” His compassion and empathy are inspiring.

Bahnson: What is it that is looking back at us through the eyes of a wolf, or from a particular landscape? Some would name that God, or some other word for the Divine. How would you name that?

Lopez: I would say it’s an encounter between the two sides of a lopsided divorce. It’s a breach, you know. The agricultural revolution was a breach, a divorce. The industrial revolution was a worse breach. The surrounding material world was relegated, in both these instances, to the position of an employee, even a slave; a source of entertainment; a storehouse for natural resources. When wild animals look back at you, I can imagine what they might be thinking if your defense for the massive changes you’ve engineered in their world, and are responsible for, is “But look at this beautiful world we’ve built.” Many divorces are characterized by incredibly lopsided thinking and misapprehension. I believe one of the reasons our lives are so difficult today is because of the separation from the rest of the natural world that we’ve insisted on having, our insistence on the primacy of human life. Human history, you know, is but one dimension of natural history. It’s not the other way around.

If you can imagine a divorce in which only one member of the dyad — modern humanity — made the decision to create a breach, and then enforced it, you can begin to understand what the growing malaise in human culture is about. It occurs to humanity that it has lost its spouse. That’s metaphorical, of course. But if you imagine what happens when divorce is forced on just one person, then you can begin to understand why traditional people are reluctant to make that same adjustment. They don’t want the breach. They see the destructive injustice. Why accept a separation from all the rest of creation? Everybody I spoke with in villages across the Arctic in the seventies and eighties, when I asked them to offer me adjectives for people in my culture, the one word I heard repeatedly was lonely. They see us as deeply lonely people — and one of the reasons we’re lonely, if you agree with that, is that we’ve cut ourselves off from the nonhuman world, and have called this “progress.”

Bahnson: So perhaps those moments of numinous encounter are really moments of regrounding ourselves in reality?

Lopez: Yeah, reconnection. It’s reconnection. And this brings us around to the issue of memory. I recall every day the moments of primal contact I’ve experienced with the nonhuman world — with pronghorn antelope and wild salmon and scarlet tanagers — and with the nonhuman world’s most intimate and knowledgeable interpreters: indigenous people. The memories regenerate me; they
boost my desire to try to work in my writing as a mediator of some sort between the dehumanized natural world and my own acquisitive culture.

Bahnson: What, specifically, are those moments of primal contact?

Lopez: They’re private moments of animated contact with the world outside the human. Watching animals, just sitting with a friend and watching animals for a long time, not saying much. I think of those moments at Lake Clifton in Australia that I describe in Horizon: standing out there on the boardwalk with two friends, drinking it in. Or in Antarctica, at Cape Crozier, watching the emperor penguins. It’s not about interpreting or “figuring out” what these wild animals are doing. You just give in to the spectacle. You become a participant.

Can we save the world we still have? Watching Saturday morning “Nature” programs almost every weekend on PBS, I see many incidences of intimate human contact with the wild kingdoms. It’s encouraging, to say the least, and very heart warming. It causes me to believe that we can do this. We must do it.

 Until my next post,

What’s UP for Our Species?

“Skepticism is the chastity of the intellect, Santayana declared, and the metaphor is apt. The mind that seeks the deepest intellectual fulfillment does not give itself up to every passing idea.” —(Richard Tarnas, COSMOS AND PSYCHE)

My last post engendered considerable response from readers who shared some very thoughtful views in a lengthy and rich conversation on a group Face Book page around the topic of the current climate crisis.  The last word on the so-called “climate crisis,” of course, has not been written, and may never be. I did receive a lead to my next book to read, COSMOS AND PSYCHE, which I am thoroughly enjoying. Thanks Don!

One of my followers, Marco, from Alojera, Canarias, Spain, shared these three perceptions:

1.That our environment is radically changing and requiring human behavior to adapt in ways that will challenge past behavior.

Yes, and “adapt” is the operative word for the purpose of the current post — as in evolve.

2. That aforementioned human behavior (particularly since the industrial revolution) has increasingly reflected a sense of identity separate and superior from the planet and its natural cycles; and that such separate, superior identity has been fertile ground for the emergence of aberrant, predatory, and ultimately self-defeating identity, convinced not of humankind belonging within a mutually interdependent ecosystem, but in an intrinsically fearful, competitive, and winner-takes-all matrix.

On the one hand, the industrial complex may be playing a remedial role in getting the oil off our water planet, two substances that don’t mix well together. The late geology professor John Waskom, offered a rationale for the burning of oil, a foreign substance deposited on Earth by Venus when she was a comet some 3570 years ago — according to Dr. Immanuel Vlikovsky, author of Worlds In Collision, who was extremely knowledgeable in the texts of ancient peoples. Dr. Waskom’s scenario was that beings with technological expertise were sent here by the Creators specifically to pump the oil out of the ground and dispose of it. On the other hand, I don’t think the Creators had it in mind to turn the oil into plastic and other polluting and cancer causing chemicals. This has been the doings of “aberrant, predatory, and ultimately self-defeating” humans.

3. That as a result of the above, man is fearful of change, deeply convinced of his reliance on an unsustainable life-style. And unless something changes radically in man’s psychological assumptions, the species will not survive this phase of environmental change.

Radical change is the only path to survival. The question is: Who is it that hopes to survive this “unsustainable life-style?” More to the point: “Who can survive it?” Perhaps those who have thoroughly established a more sustainable life-style in an isolated and insulated community can.

A more transcendent question is: Why limit our thinking to mere survival of our species?  We can radically change our psychological assumptions. Why not think in terms of transcending the human condition altogether and creating a totally new and “greener” world on what seems to be emerging as a New Earth. God knows Gaia is doing her part to clear the way for a restoration to occur.

Behold, I create a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and old earth are passed away; and there is no more sea.

Because the new heaven and new earth are one and the separate “sea” of fallen human consciousness that had been maintaining the old earth is no more.  Human consciousness is transformed and transmuted into Divine Consciousness.  This is how the New Earth appears: “Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord of Hosts.”

Marco added this quotation from Homer’s The Odyssey, which speaks to the pathetic attitude of irresponsible humans.

Men are so quick to blame the gods: they say that we devise their misery. But they
themselves — in their depravity — design grief greater than the griefs that fate assigns.

Question: Is there really a “climate crisis?  This reader’s comment suggests otherwise:

I agree much more can be done to care for the planet, but panic is not good, and it’s scaring children. Many say it’s urgent, but 500! scientists and engineers just told the UN it’s not an emergency, that climate policy is relying on inadequate models, so maybe some balance is required. Indeed, the Russian climate model says things are not as extreme . . . .  Science is wonderful and very useful, but I believe science doesn’t know everything and hasn’t factored in all the variables . . . . [Go to this link for the whole story.]
https://www.washingtontimes.com/…/scientists-tell-un…/

My poet friend sent me these words of wisdom:  When there’s a meme [an idea or behavior circulated on social media] being pushed at a mega scale it behooves one to ask why and for what purpose.”

So I ask why and for what purpose. As I said in my previous post, I am feeling my way through all the reactive journalism and commentaries around the subject of climate change.

So, what is up for the Human Species?

All of this uproar over climate change poses a few questions in my own mind:

1. Are we facing the inevitable demise of our species, perhaps in the form of some sort of transmutation of our flesh bodies to a higher form of, say, the frequency of light?

2. This question gives rise to another: Is the earth’s warming climate preparing the way by creating a vibrational caldron as a crucible in which this transmutation might occur “in the twinkling of an eye” and without too much suffering on the part of humans?

3. In other words, are we being asked by the Great Spirit Creator to let go of our attachment to these earthen forms, at least our identity with them, in order to cross over the alchemical threshold where physical materialization meets the spiritualizing realm, the abode of angels . . . if only in consciousness at first?

Transmutation of form follows transformation of consciousness, as consciousness is the matrix out of which form appears. In other words, there is a creative process to be stewarded here whereby all things are made new.  Re-creation in consciousness is accomplished by Spirit as it finds expression through us in our living.  My spiritual mentor articulated this principle forty years ago:

When the spiritual action is present the design in form appears. This is the principle which we have doubtless known for a long time but by which the restoration is made possible. Behold, I make all things new. As there is the means on earth by which the spiritual action may appear, then the substance in the realm of form leaps to reveal it. All this can occur very quickly when there is spiritual action and to the extent that there are people on the face of the earth who are willing to let it happen, who are no longer insisting that material substance should be held in the structured forms set up by fallen human nature.  (Martin Cecil)

Lest We Forget Our Past

What’s buried deep in the human psyche that’s pushing up for conscious acknowledgment and remembrance? Are we awakening from our mass amnesia and remembering our traumatic past so that we do not repeat it?

In an effort to answer these questions, I would like to revisit a post from last year and excerpt the closing paragraphs. The post itself is a review of Graham Hancock’s classic Fingerprints Of The Gods.” Below is a link to the post itself.

EITHER WE EVOLVE OR WE PERISH

When human beings from around the globe, and from many different cultures, share a powerful and overwhelming intuition that a cataclysm is approaching, we are within our rights to ignore them. And when the voices of our distant ancestors, descending to us through myths and sacred architecture, speak to us of the physical obliteration of a great civilization in remote antiquity (and tell us that our own civilization is in jeopardy), we are entitled, if we wish, to stop our ears…

So it was, the Bible says, in the antediluvian world: “For in those days, before the Flood, people were eating, drinking, taking wives, taking husbands, right up to the moment that Noah went into the Ark, and they suspected nothing till the flood came and swept all away.”

In the same manner it has been prophesied that the next global destruction will fall upon us suddenly “at an hour we do not suspect, like lightning striking in the east and flashing far into the west … The sun will be darkened, the moon will lose its brightness, the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of heaven will be shaken ….”

What has happened before can happen again. What has been done before can be done again.

The thread that runs through the pages of Graham’s book weaves a fabric upon which is painted a prophetic picture for our generation specifically that warns of impending disaster for our world and its population based simply on a cosmic clock ticking away the centuries and millennia over the past 12,500 years since a highly advanced civilization was all but wiped off the face of the earth by a cataclysm. That civilization was known as Atlantis and is now believed to be buried beneath a two-mile thick cap of ice. Today that island continent is called Antarctica. Buried with it are the historical records of what this civilization did that brought about its destruction in literally the blinking of an eye — like a thief in the night.  It is likely we will never know the secret buried beneath those two miles of ice. An ancient lost civilization frozen in time and preserved till the day the ice melts and reveals its secrets. . . .

The survivors of the Deluge . . . left messages carved in stone which point to our day — when the sun rises on the Winter Solstice in the House of the constellation of Sagittarius at the South Gate of the Milky Way Galaxy between 1960 and 2040 AD — and when the pendulum of the cosmic clock strikes the hour when the hammer will likely fall again on the civilizations of man.  It is also the dawning of the Age of Aquarius which guards the North Gate of the Milky Way Galaxy.  As I wrote about in a previous post, this is also designated in Mayan cosmology as “the place of creation.”

We ignore the myths of our ancient ancestors to our peril.  The dawn of a New Day lightens the horizon. It’s time to wake up and face the harvest of our sowing days as it spreads ugly before us.  We’ve run into a concrete wall and there’s no way to go forward — only up and over it.  It’s the way Gaia is going — up, up and away!

I believe that collectively — and restoration is a collective experience of transformation, as we are all in the same boat — we have the spiritual substance necessary for Spirit to work through in averting a cataclysmic demise of our species, and to turn the tide of self-destruction by climate collapse or nuclear war.  I see this substance of love being generated by people the world over.  My wife and I participated recently in a diverse group dialogue on the issue of racial justice. The atmosphere in the room was one of accord that we are one race, the human race.  I came away with an uplifted sense that all is well. Unconquerable Life is prevailing, our differences adding color to its expression through us. We are beginning to truly love one another.  Let’s let this atmosphere increase and clarify to give Spirit a means for making all things new through Man restored.

Earth’s Climate Changes Again . . . Yet Life Prevails

With all the media airing of the climate teen-activism taking place all over the world, spearheaded by 16-year-young Swedish climate activist, Greta Thunberg, I think it’s time I revisit the topic of global warming as a cosmic event — which I blogged extensively about back in 2012

It has come to my awareness via social media that this entire panic-stricken movement may well be politically motivated and even orchestrated, one Brighteon.com commentator describing Greta as an “Eco-hysteria girl . . . a victim of extreme psychological terrorism by radical left-wing handlers.” Scary right-wing propaganda, to say the least.

Although my first flush of feeling when this all began to air was empathy for and support of Greta and the teen-activists, I’m still feeling my way through all the repercussions and knee-jerk reactive journalism. Of one thing I am certain: global warming is a cosmic event to which we are contributing very little.  But before you write me off as a “denier,” hear me out.

Historically, the climate of the Earth has changed on a regular basis — and panic is not a very conscious, nor necessary, response to it.  I don’t mean to be picky or critical here, but “protesting climate change” is protesting the natural evolutionary cycles of not only our planet, but of our sister planets as well, along with the entire solar system as it travels through energetic climate changes in our Milky Way Galaxy.  In a word, it’s protesting against the cosmos itself.  Here’s an excerpt from my June 16, 2012 blog post:

(I love this graphic depicting the earth’s magnetic field being blown back by solar wings, like a woman’s hair blown by the wind, while the front facing the sun is bowed in the shape of a protective shield keeping us from being burned to a crisp.)

Since at least the late 1970’s, the Sun’s overall radiation emissions have increased by 0.5 percent per decade. Between 1901 and 2000, the Sun’s magnetic field increased in size and strength by 230 percent. As of 1999, high increases in the amount of helium and heavier charged particles coming out of the Sun was “more active than in living memory. A mainstream geophysical team recently proved that the Sun has been more active since the 1940’s than in the previous 1,150 years combined.  The new brightening all started in the last 150 years. As of November 2004, the same group proved that the Sun is more energetic than it has been in at least eight-thousand years.

At the same time, scientists also fear there might be a massive new peak of solar activity that could potentially fry electronics on earth—and gave a surprisingly familiar target date of September, 2012 for when this might happen.  A LiveScience article in 2007 seriously considered the social anthropologist Dr. Benny Peiser’s suggestion that the Sun could be responsible for measurable “global warming” on Mars, Jupiter, Neptune’s moon Triton and Pluto, as well as the earth.  Surprisingly, this is one of very few mainstream media articles to have ever made this obvious connection….

Climate Warming: A Cosmic Event

Severe weather brought on by radical climate change, then, is occurring on the surface of all the planets. Our mass protesting and blaming is only imposing erratic and dissonant vibrations upon the energetic climate of the collective consciousness of humanity, as well as that of the earth.  Fear is not a worthy motive for activism or remedial action. That this all may be a politically orchestrated event is a very sad commentary.

All that aside, I don’t think our scientists know exactly what percentage of climate warming is due to cosmic factors and how much is due to carbon emissions. Besides, atmospheric carbon can be and is being dealt with by Mother Nature, whose infallible economics includes adaptation in order to maintain balance between all the creative forces: water, air, earth and fire— and the word “adaptation” is the operative word here. I’ve read reports about a marked increase in the proliferation of green foliage on the planet, for example, that is taking carbon out of the atmosphere while putting oxygen back into it. It’s called the “Circle of Life” in the theme song of the movie Lion King.  What a timely message that movie shouted out to the world.

Now, protesting our use of “fossil” fuel for energy is another thing altogether. Protest we should. Cleaner energy sources are available.  It may be a misnomer, however, to call petroleum a fossilized residue of decomposed dinosaurs and other gigantic extinct reptiles and ancient plants. Oil may have a rather extra-terrestrial origin, writes one scientist/historian.

Historical Catastrophic Climate Changes

According to geophysicist Immanuel Velikovsky, naphtha was deposited on the surface of the earth by Venus when she was a comet during her near collision with the earth some 3570 years ago — as well as with Mars, throwing that planet out of its orbit and thus further threatening the earth itself. Ironically, during this upheaval, Mars shielded Earth from a direct hit by the massive comet by nearly colliding with Venus itself, throwing her off her Earth-bent course.  There’s been a lot of cataclysmic activity in Earth’s relatively stable history, and there will likely be more yet to come.

Velikovsky details how this sticky, volatile substance came from the tail of Venus when it was a comet in his controversial book Worlds In Collision, all of which took place in Biblical days during the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt and forty years in the wilderness — which he claims accounts for all the seemingly miraculous cataclysmic disruptions reported in the Biblical stories, such as the parting of the Red Sea and the “pillar of fire” phenomena. The miracle was the Israelites being in the right place at the right time. It’s a very interesting scenario if you wish to read about it in my 2012 blog posts.

Venus was actually given the name “Baal Zevuv . . . Lord of the Flies” (which later became  Beelzebub), because of the plague of insects and other varmints that rained down out of its tail upon Egypt as Moses called for the release of the Israelites from bondage. Venus was also called “Lucifer”(light-bearer) because of her brightness as the “Morning Star” before she was “cast down” to the ground from the heavens.  The prophet Isaiah writes about this celestial drama:

“How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn. Thou hast been cast down to the ground, thou who once laid low the nations.” (Isaiah 12:14)

The comet Venus kept the nations’ peoples in a state of fear and dread for several decades until she was captured by the sun and became a planet. Sounds like a science fiction episode, doesn’t it.  If you care to read more about this very interesting historical event, I wrote a series of blogs on the subject back in February, 2018, under the heading “War in Heaven and on Earth.”

It’s interesting how many of the Biblical stories written around that time have their origin in celestial and cataclysmic events; similar to the Greek mythologies upon which the signs of the Zodiac symbols are based. All this to say our Mother Earth has been through more drastic climate changes in her past than we are having today.

The Question we need to ask is: What the hell are we doing to ourselves?!

All this, however, is a mute point in light of the fact that what is really at stake here is not so much the future of planet Earth as the future of our civilization and of life as we now know it — and not only because of climate change, but also, and chiefly, because of what we are doing to our lifeline with our Earth Mother — not to mention the malignant population explosion.  Our way of life is self-destructive.

We are the only species on the planet that contaminates our water before we drink it, pollutes our air before we breathe it, and poisons our food before we eat it — and the forces of Nature are rising up to wake us up. (About the only good to come out of this insanity is the development of a Healthcare Industry to treat cancer and our many other resulting diseases.) There is one creative force we cannot compromise, and that’s fire, which cannot be poisoned, contaminated nor polluted. Its nature is not to be consumed but to consume, and consume it will, human and wild life habitats and lives notwithstanding.

Yet Life goes on creating after the fires burn themselves out or are extinguished — and the floods subside, the hurricanes move on, and the earthquakes settle down. “Unconquerable Life prevails,” to borrow a line from one of my favorite poems. Perhaps I could share that poem as a closure to this post. It speaks truth and sanity to ambitious and arrogant human consciousness.

THUS IT IS

From age to age

Love’s word rings forth,

“The truth is true and all is well,

Unconquerable life prevails.”

Oh, man, whose strident dreams Lead gravewards,

Return to calm and noble

Character of life.

Blaze forth pure virtue;

Depart false ambition’s restless schemes.

Busy thought and troubled feeling

Trespass not in virtue’s wise serenity

Where firm control and awful power

Eternally abide.

Here earth’s pains are healed

And cruel chaos of mind’s spawning

Is called again to order and to beauty.

                 —Martin Cecil

“Return to calm and noble character of Life. . . Depart false ambition’s restless schemes.”

We could all do a lot of both about this time, as the world seems to be going mad. A line from the Psalms comes to mind:

“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten-thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”(Psalm 91:7)

The question might be posed as to who the wicked are.  And the answer would be “We have all done our share of wickedness.” There’s no one or ones to blame for our plight other than ourselves, and that’s a fruitless undertaking.  A much more fruitful undertaking would be to remember who we are, our true identity as sons and daughters of God and brothers and sisters inspired by the One Spirit of Life.

The first verse of that psalm offers a steady and sure lifeline to those disturbed and distraught by current world events:

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

One might ask where this “secret place” is located so that one may come and dwell there.  The secret place of the Most High is within us, in the heart of one’s heart. It’s always there and cannot be disturbed.

And I will leave you with these thoughts to ponder . . . until my next post.

Be love. Be loved

Anthony

A Time of Radical Transformation — Reshaping Hallowed Space

“Sacred tones our voices sound reshaping hallowed space. Let Love command. Let wonders form. Let heaven’s beauty shine. Let every living breath Sing praise for Light Divine.”

Cymatic Image of
    the note A

World News today is all about the noisy passing of the old world under the old heaven, where there’s really nothing new. At the same time, we’ve entered a transitional cycle of purification and transformation, not only of human consciousness but of the earth and the entire solar system. Nothing of human experience will ever be the same on planet Earth.

We have come to the end of a road forged by science, religion, and politics, and paved with the currency and lucrative profits of commercial enterprise. Take heart, however, for a New Day has dawned with the rising of the Maya’s “Fifth Sun!” The Tone of the Seventh Angel’s trumpet is sounding loud and clear, re-configuring the cymatic image in the template of the New Heaven for the New Earth. Together we forge a new road with our love for the truth of life — the truth of life that is oneness, something we all desire. United, we rise to a new level — a level of co-creation in partnership with one another and with the Natural World.

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” (Rev. 21:1)

This will be the final post in this series,”The Spiritual Significance of the Pineal Gland,” with excerpts from my book Sacred Anatomy

Anthropologist, shaman, historian and investigator, Carlos Barrios, of Spanish descent, was brought up alongside the indigenous Maya Mam tribe in Huehuetenango in the highlands of Guatemala.  In exploring the many different Mayan calendars and the stories they contain, he unveiled a number of inaccuracies in the interpretations anthropologists who visit the temple sites have made.  For example they imagined the implications that the world would end rather than go through a transformation, the more accurate interpretation by the Mayan elders, who alone know how to read the calendars.

Carlos’ investigations — published in his Book of Destiny: Unveiling the Secrets of the Ancient Mayans and the Prophecy of 2012 — uncovered a legend which has its beginnings in a time prior to the arrival of Hernando Cortez and his fleet of Spanish galleons from the East at what is today called Vera Cruz, Mexico, on Easter Sunday in 1519. The ships with their billowing sails resembled butterflies skimming the ocean surface, and their arrival marked for the islanders the return of a very important ancestor, whose return was prophesied to be as one “coming like a butterfly.” This marked the beginning of a new era the Mayans had anticipated through their calendars, which they termed the “Nine Bolomitkus, or nine Hells of 52 years each.”

As the nine cycles unfolded, land and freedom were taken from the native people.  Disease and disrespect dominated. What began with the arrival of Cortez lasted until August 16, 1987 – a date many people recall as Harmonic Convergence.  Millions of people took advantage of that date to make ceremony in sacred sites, praying for a smooth transition to a new era, the World of the Fifth Sun.

From that 1987 date until now, Mr. Barrios says, we have been in a time when the right arm of the materialistic world is disappearing, slowly but inexorably.  We are at the cusp of the era when peace begins, and people lie in harmony with Mother Earth.  We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun.  This is the time in-between, the time of transition.

As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos, war, and ongoing Earth changes.  All this, Mr. Barrios says, was foreseen via the simple, spiral mathematics of the Mayan calendars.  “It will change,” Mr. Barrios observes.  “Everything will change.”    He said Mayan Daykeepers view the Dec. 21, 2012, date as a rebirth, the start of the World of the Fifth Sun.  It will be the start of a new era resulting from and signified by the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator, and the earth aligning itself with the center of the galaxy.

At sunrise on December 21, 2012, for the first time in 26,000 years the Sun rises to conjunct the intersection of the Milky Way and the plane of the ecliptic. This cosmic cross is considered to be an embodiment of the Sacred Tree, The Tree of Life, a tree remembered in all the world’s spiritual traditions.   Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012 will open a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the earth, cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a higher level of vibration.

This process has already begun, Mr. Barrios suggested.  “Change is accelerating now, and it will continue to accelerate.”  If the people of the earth can get to this 2012 date in good shape, without having destroyed too much of the Earth. . . we will rise to a new, higher level.  But to get there we must transform enormously powerful forces that seek to block the way.

We are living in the most important era of the Mayan Calendars and prophecies.  All the prophecies of the world, all the traditions, are converging now.  There is no time for games.  The spiritual ideal of this era is action.  (From an article on the internet.)

This all relates to the transformation process underway in our body temples occasioned by vibrational shifts that are occurring in our immediate vicinity of the Milky Way Galaxy. The action needed is not physical or mental but spiritual or vibrational in nature.  “Not by power or by might, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” It is as we express the Spirit of Love that we know love and experience transformation and renewal.   It is only as we start being peaceful ourselves that we bring peace to our world.

As these heavenly bodies change their proximity to one another and approach conjunction, the vibrational lines of force in the Earth change and intensify, including the vibratory intensities of these seven endocrine centers, which form the “Tree of Life” in our body temples.  When these change, all the cells of the body undergo change accordingly.

SPONTANEOUS CREATION

This impacts the mind as well and the speed at which thoughts form and then materialize bringing us to a point where spontaneous creation is not only possible but a daily occurrence. The vibratory intensity of the emanations of spirit through the Pineal into the body temple increases, creating more powerful hormones than we knew were possible to our endocrine system.  With its hormones it is striking at the very foundations of this world founded on fear, hate and greed.  This little stone is one that is not cut out or produced by human hands.   It is a gift from God and is therefore sacred.  It is the “secret place of the Most High” which has been established for His covenant with Man.  The Pineal connects us with Heaven above and Earth beneath our feet.

This Seventh Level of Being is the highest level of attainment of union with the divine here on earth.  In The Triune Ray, Uranda describes it as the point of radiant action:

The highest, or seventh, plane was, and is, the Christ vibration, which means that it is that which is the purely active radiation of the Divine, or God, Beings who are creating the world. The sixth plane is the next lower vibration, where union takes place and the change from negative response to positive action is manifest.

These words of Uranda lead naturally into our next meditation, the Pituitary Gland.  (From Sacred Anatomy)

Amidst tragic news of recent mass shootings, I leave you with the compelling words of a hymn from Songs Of Praise And Thanksgiving, which I borrowed from the hymnal of Emissaries of Divine Light.

”Let Love Command. Let wonders form. Let Heaven’s beauty shine….”

Until my next post,

Let your light shine.
