Our Solar Entity: A Place of Habitation

WE ARE HARDLY AN ISOLATED “tiny oasis of life surrounded by an immensity of death,” as our ageing Star Trek Captain Kurk (William Shatner) described his impression of Earth during his recent venture out into the dark deep of space, featured in my previous post. As I mentioned in that article, light is everywhere but only visible to us as a reflection off of substances, such as water vapor. Except for substance to reflect off of, we could not see light. So the darkness of space is filled with invisible light, and where there’s light there’s life and love.

I received this comment on my previous post from a dear friend and colleague:

I think you allude to something here Tony, and that is: That our Holy Earth is not so tiny as we might think, and it is not an oasis, because it is not located in a desert, and it is not a mirage in the desert of the fallen human consciousness that sees everything in its own likeness, in this case the likeness interpreted as an oasis in a universal desert wilderness. But in Divine Imagination, as we are made in the Image and Likeness of the Divine Elohim, it might well be that our Earth Home is vast, and embedded in what we call a solar system that is akin to an amazon forest teeming with multiplicity of life, all this within a Cosmic Ocean of unblemished Cosmo-Diversity. And, as a wise man once suggested, could it not be that our heavenly earth system is itself one Holy City created to thrive, one City among many, all embedded within a Bright and Morning Star, within a vast Cosmic Field of such cities and such stars. I think so.

David Barnes, Great Cosmic Story

OUR SOLAR ENTITY

I love this perspective of our Earth as “one Holy City created to thrive, one City among many, all embedded within a Bright and Morning Star….”

In astronomy we refer to the planets orbiting the sun as a “solar system,” as though it was a lifeless grouping of cosmic bodies adrift in empty galactic space. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Earth and all her eight sister planets are living, breathing entities, as is their origin star, the central solar orb around which they orbit. It’s all part of a vast cosmic fabric of stars and galaxies that is “but a cloak” to the living God of Creation, to borrow a phrase from the lyrics of a colleague’s baritone song of praise.

AND THEN THERE WERE TEN

(The following words speak my own thoughts and implications about what I see, read and hear. I do not expect anyone to believe me. In fact, I discourage it. I do invite you to read it, however, and to do your own critical thinking about it.)

There is a tenth planet, according to ancient Sumerian cuneiform texts, recorded on stone tablets and recently translated by Zacharia Sitchin (1920-2010), author of a number of books proposing an explanation for human origins involving ancient astronauts. Our solar system, or entity, is a massive colonization of planets, one of which is inhabited by the human race along with a vast variety of animal, insect and plant species . . . and another, a planet named “Niburu“— also known as “Planet X”— which is believed to be inhabited by rogue creator beings who came to Earth and genetically engineered the human species.

In his book THE 12TH PLANET, Zacharia Sitchin “attributed the creation of the ancient Sumerian culture to the Anunnaki, which he stated was a race of extraterrestrials from a planet beyond Neptune called Niburu. He asserted that Sumerian mythology suggests that this hypothetical planet of Niburu is in an elongated, 3,600-year-long elliptical orbit around the Sun.” You are welcome to explore for yourself this ancient story of the origins of humanity.

I mention all this because in the Sumerian cuneiform text Earth is spoken of as the “seventh planet,” and the only possible explanation for this placement of the earth as the seventh planet is if one is counting from the outer planetary orbit, presumably that of Pluto, (which has been counted and excluded as a planet a number of times), and traveling toward the inner planets, which would be Mars (6th), Earth (7th), Venus (8th) and Mercury (9th). Also, in counting and numbering the planets from the outer reaches of the solar system, for earth to be numbered as the seventh planet, there would have to have been ten planets counting the asteroid belt, which is a debris field of a planet that was destroyed in a collision with another planet, or possibly a moon of one of the other planets, or even with a comet.

William Shatner describes planet Earth as an oasis surrounded by a vast dark wilderness of death, as in a desert. When I read this in his account of his space venture, I was reminded of a reference in the Sumerian text to the inhabitants of Niburu (the Anunnaki) seeing the planet Earth as a place to stop off, like an oasis, and exploring for possible deposits of gold on what we now call the African continent, the cradle of civilization and of all life on earth.

According to the story, the Anunnaki needed gold to build a solar shield for their planet. They found gold deposits and began excavating it and shipping it to their planet via space cargo ships. The work became too arduous for the “creator beings” so they created man to “till the ground,” as slave laborers to do the dirty and strenuous work. According to the story, the Anunnaki started with strong and able-bodied apian creatures and genetically altered them using their own DNA, thereby creating man in their own image and likeness. Evolution followed that transformed man through various stages of development.

The notable point for me is that the earth was seen as an oasis and source of minerals in the dark wilderness of the solar system. It is still being mined for its minerals, including gold and silver, lithium, copper, cobalt and uranium, not to mention the coal mines of China and the oil wells of Texas and the Gulf of Mexico; all being done by the powers that control the global economy and manage the industrial complexes.

One may well suspect that the Anunnaki rogue creator beings have incarnated in modern times to finish their pillage of the planet’s riches and energy resources and enslave human beings to do their bidding. Perhaps they never really left Earth as incarnate rogue creator beings, even possessing the Scribes and Pharisees in order to do away with God’s “only begotten Son” once and for all. But they failed to get rid of Him, and that victory over death by Jesus the Christ altered the course of history . . . as far as the Anunnaki are concerned and as far as humanity is concerned. They may have been able to enslave Adam and Eve and their descendants, but they could not enslave the human spirit. Jesus threw the fire of love on the world and initiated once again a cycle of purification and restoration of man to his ordained state of co-creator with the Father of Creation, the third and final opportunity for man, male and female, to return to the Creator and restore the Earth to its Paradise state as “a womb where beauty might be born.

Returning to the tonal words of my friend David Barnes for upliftment to a higher point of view and authentic context:

. . . could it not be that our heavenly earth system is itself one Holy City created to thrive, one City among many, all embedded within a Bright and Morning Star, within a vast Cosmic Field of such cities and such stars. I think so.

I think so as well. “The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.” The Earth is a Holy City of habitation for the sons and daughters of God. It was created by Elohim for this very purpose in the deep dark of space.

HIDDEN THINGS BEING UNCLOAKED

I will conclude this post by saying that Zacharia Sitchin’s scenario of our origins reads like a very possible way in which the events mythologized by Moses in the Book of Genesis manifested and unfolded. I can appreciate the challenge Moses must have faced in writing the Book of Genesis and some of the other books in the Old Testament, especially taking into account the level of consciousness of the relatively primitive “Children of Israel” who had just been delivered from bondage in Egypt. It is said that he had access to ancient Sumerian and Sanskrit scriptures, legends and oral traditions as well. His congregation were truly children who could only relate to mythical stories and parables.

A similar event occurs in the New Testament Gospels when Jesus said to his simple-minded disciples, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.” (John 16:12). There are many things being revealed that even we have a hard time bearing today . . . and this Nibiru story may just be one of them. It may also be one of the things that are best left in the past and forgotten. But then there’s the danger of repeating our past unless we remember it . . . If we are not already doing so.

I will address this in my next post, “Earth as an Electrical Being.” So, stay tuned. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

The Mystery of Consciousness: Conditioned by War and Deception

THE FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLE BEE

Sitting in our back yard swing today, I watched a busy bumble bee hovering with watchful antennae over a blossoming azalea and chasing away other bees that are drawn to the same inviting pink flowers. It even hovers over my head when I sit to close to the bush near our patio. Even though I know that the female doesn’t sting unless messed with, it’s not a very comfortable feeling. The males have no stingers, as I’ve learned researching bumble bees’ sex and anatomical features . . . and I learned something else that fits squarely into the theme of this post.

Today I learned that the bumble bee worker can fly at a speed of 34 mph as she goes about gathering food pollen for the queen and the other bees in the hive. It can carry up to 90% of it’s body weight in pollen. That takes a lot of energy—and the bee is 40 minutes away from starvation at any time, so it feeds on the nectar of flowers on its journey back to the hive. Now here’s the fascinating and edifying part.  After it drinks all the nectar from a flower, the thoughtful bee leaves a chemical footprint on the flower petal as a signal to other bees not to waste their time and energy stopping for nectar . . . which disappears when the flower replenishes its sweet nectar! I am in awe of Mother Nature, who obviously has an all-encompassing Consciousness.

Now, I can understand the bumble bee’s “pledge” and commitment to her queen and fellow bees in the hive, and to its task of gathering pollen for energy and nourishment for itself and them.  What I pondered while watching this busy bee hovering over the pink flowers of the azalea was why it is that she chases away other bees the moment they come by for nectar, which this particular bee doesn’t even take the time herself to enjoy.  It just hovers there over the bush guarding its treasure.

Now, bumble bees aren’t the only creatures that covet their fodder.  We have a family of beautiful cardinals in our neighborhood that stop by our bird feeder regularly for a meal or a snack of birdseed.  We also have a flock of cute little sparrows that feed frequently and heartedly as well . . . but not while the cardinal is feeding!  No indeed!. They are not welcomed but are directly chased away by the cardinal, which is usually the male.  The female waits patiently until her mate has finished his meal.

We love all our feathered friends, even with their humanlike quirks . . . which I also pondered sitting there.  I contemplate this instinctive characteristic as well while watching Nature specials on TV.  Why, I muse, do animals behave much like their fellow human inhabitants of the planet—the crowning creation?  I believe it has everything to do with the all-encompassing scope of Consciousness and its conditioning which influences the behavior of life-forms everywhere on the planet . . . and I don’t think I’m overlaying anything on the animals and creatures of the wild.  After all, we occupy the very top of the pyramid of living forms on the planet.  There is surely a “trickle down” flow of energy and spirit in this pyramid that is coded by attitudes and patterns of behavior upstream, where we live and carry out our often selfish life styles.  As I said, I don’t believe this is overlay.  Our connection with the wild kingdoms affords us a means by which peace and harmony can be offered to the animals and creatures of the Wild as well—and we see this happening in isolated instances where man and beasts feel safe with one another—as Dr. Jane Goodall demonstrated so beautifully in her groundbreaking work with chimpanzees in the apian world of the jungles of Africa.

CONDITIONING BY WAR

I received a letter from one of my blog followers and friend in the UK, Peter Watson, that opened up something in my consciousness relating to wars and the conditioning wars have had on the human psyche and collective consciousness and subconsciousness—a timely missive in this day when Russian President Vladimir Putin is conducting an atrocious “genocide” war of aggression against Ukraine, killing innocent civilians and destroying their homes and entire cities and villages.

War seems to be the default solution to disagreements between nations and tribes, and all over . . . what ?!  Territorial occupation?  Natural resources?  Political and religious ideologies?  I’ve read reports that there are some thirty biolabs in Ukraine, many of them in the southeastern section.  These labs are located in China, as well as in other NATO nations where Gain-Of-Function virus research is being conducted, some of it funded by the US.  Are these labs what Putin is invading Ukraine over?  Does he actually feel that Russia, surrounded by NATO nations, is threatened by bioweapon destruction?  What has happened to negotiation and compromise over such matters of concern? Is war and the threat of destruction by nuclear force the only negotiating tools that work?!  I think not.

Ukraine is not the only country where warring is going on.  According to Wikipedia, there are around 40 ongoing wars and conflicts presently in around three dozen countries, most of them in the Middle East, North West Asia and Sub-Saharan Arica, plus a major drug-war in Mexico.

AS ABOVE SO BELOW

Human consciousness appears to be thoroughly conditioned by war . . . since the day in Biblical history when Cain slew Abel out of envy for the way his brother’s offerings were acceptable to the LORD and his were not.  But this warring pattern may have its heavenly origin that goes back well before Cain slew Abel.

Human consciousness has been deeply scarred and conditioned by warring in Heaven.  According to sacred scriptures, these distorted patterns of usurping power and control have their origins in the Heaven of heavens.  John of Revelation wrote of this battle between the Forces of Light and the powers of darkness, as did Paul:

John: “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was there place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. (Rev12:7)

Paul: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against a spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12)

We needn’t wonder how and why there are wars on earth—although the warring elements were cast out of Heaven long ago. They’ve continued to make war on earth.  But what of the wars constantly being waged in human consciousness: bickering, feuding, competing with one another, envying, hating, resenting, back-biting, judging and and condemning one another, constant complaining—not to mention the violence and warring depicted in computer gamming—and so many other conflicting and violent thought entertained in the heaven of human consciousness?  Humans are hard-wired, it seems, for warring.

CONDITIONING BY DECEPTION

Here is my friend’s letter in which he writes about the conditioning of consciousness by war, religion, and education:

Dear Tony

After WW2 in the UK we had a saying, “If you want to get ahead, get a hat.” Crowns were for Royalty, and self-esteem was at an all-time low. The Hun was our avowed enemy; loving our neighbour, the Hun, was out of the question. Every street was lined with bomb-sites. Yanks were saying they’d won the war for us. What really happened was that they’d delayed their involvement till both sides were exhausted, on their knees, then they came over to mop up. They brought chewing gum, nylon stockings for our girls, and rode around in jeeps wearing their smartly pressed uniforms, smoking cigars. Our boys were dressed in cheap itchy garb, with silly-looking helmets, so there wasn’t much love lost there either.

Education was mandatory for children, and we were taught more about how many battles the British had won, over the past centuries, than any other subject. Looking back you can see the incredible level of propaganda we were fed, and, worse than that, the overall impression we were falsely led to believe, was that without education we were worthless. On top of that, RI (religious instruction), taught us foremost that we were sinners, because some groundsman, called Adam in the far past, had eaten a forbidden apple, which was reserved for the Lord.

Of course we were also taught to recite The Lord’s Prayer – the same as our mathematics times-table – so, by and large, that was our preparation for navigating the world-of-mankind, in a hostile universe, from which we’d evolved from apes.

Religion, as a Catholic means of excusing the joy-of-sex, without condemning our only means of propagation, invented the myth of a virgin-birth, which is still quite a widespread worldly belief. It’s been refined over time to explain the mystery of consciousness, and the role of being incarnating in human form, but without reference to our purpose (other than the same as Adam’s), or our present origin, which is also supposed to be from the dust-of-the-ground.

To skirt the truth of genuine being, as in the issue of God from heaven on earth, we came through a stage, several millennia, of begetting, wherein rogue sons-of-God came in unto daughters-of-men who bore them children of great renown. These would have been forebears of science, and the Egyptian gods, who still retained some ability to create crude life-forms for purposes of extending domination, through warfare, in the absence of dominion. Dinosaurs were a short-lived war-brigade, which suffocated when Earth’s water-mantle collapsed, high-atmosphere was lost, and Luna’s lesser light was extinguished.

Creation myth by then was firmly established . . . .[and] virgin birth to explain the purity of Jesus; a level-of-perfection unattainable by sinners, who, cast out of heaven, are convinced they must die, and, unless they claim they believe that Jesus died to save us from our sins, will burn for eternity in hell. You couldn’t make this up!

Religion plays down the ascension-process, which is natural to awakening from deception, and maturing in grace-and-stature, focusing as it does on the atrocity of the crucifixion, while falsely claiming God needs vengeance for Adam’s sin, and is not almighty enough to forgive without a high-priced sacrifice. This is swallowed – hook, line, sinker, rod and all – by supposedly intelligent people.

By now the meanest wit should see that the whole world has been deceived, but no longer do we need to remain in the state-of-deception. Perhaps, in easing human beings out of deception, as did Jesus – “I have much to tell you, but ye cannot yet bear it” – Uranda used the idea of a hat, [referencing my previous post] to introduce Class acolytes to our latent, but dormant, creative abilities. Maybe it’s now time to remind us we merit a crown – as members of God’s Crowning Creation – undeceived by mankind’s ungodly education — all glory being to God, in the heaven of our God-given consciousness on earth.

TERMINALS FOR INPUT AND OUTPUT

I’ll leave you with something to ponder as you hold your cellphone in your hand.  This came from my poet friend Don Hynes, who is also committed to the transformation and elevation of human consciousness.

“One of the very simple but largely undiscovered teachings I’ve received in my solitude is the sense of each human being a “terminal” receiving input, performing output. All the “terminals” are connected to the central port of intelligence on Earth (and beyond) that we have termed “the wyrrd.” We need be careful about that which is received, although much of it arrives simply because we are all connected, but we do have substantial control about what goes “out.” It takes discipline on both reception and transmission but of these the more critical is transmission. That we can control and we must.

The input is being broadcast world wide without device, yet the cell phone has become an external terminal, which we use without much thought. The darker purpose of this external device is to provide “input” to the human “terminals” world wide, stoking fear, anger, hatred. Humans by and large “copy and paste” what they are being force fed on the input side to their output. Hence the many deranged voices one can witness on social media . . . .  I think there’s something here of a basic education that needs to be developed in the population at large . . . and I am voicing this through my poetry, avoiding the didactic or pedantic as much as possible.”

I voice the same message in my blog.  I will leave this to your own pondering without further comment.  As always, I welcome any thoughts you may have and wish to share. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

Wetiko: Mind-Virus or Devil?

“If you are going through hell, keep going.” Winston Churchill

I RECEIVED a few thought-full commentaries on my last post.  This first one came from “across the pond” in the UK and was penned by a friend and long-time follower, Peter Watson.

Will (Wilkinson) is quite right, at least partly. Wetiko, a ‘mind-virus’  that Will has designated as the devil, is now rampant throughout civilization, and not just a white man’s affliction any longer, as it was before it also spread — like fire-water — to indigenous peoples too.

However, to leave wetiko as only a virus, it could be imagined as just something else to blame for the human problem; something to cure, or attune.  Beware the snare-of-the-fowler, the devil, the self-active human mind, for it is the subtlest beast in the field, and Will’s word substitution is a prime example of translating and using words to dilute truth (as if it could), to divert the spotlight from itself — a “speak or spin” common to clever politicians.

Would Jesus have addressed a virus trying to tempt him in the desert?  Would he have had a virus? Would a virus have been able to communicate at a mind level?  Or, rather, was Jesus addressing the dis-eased mind of mankind as he brought it to focus within himself to be dealt with?

Over the millennia the devil has operated under many guises, and behind and in front of many disguises, prominent among them are leadership, patriotism, and enemy.  Perhaps, though, the most insidious is education, at least education designed to further civilization for self-centered purposes.

How that works on the human mind is key to the human problem, as we shall see. Starting from the premise that there is nothing intrinsically wrong with the design and purpose of the human mind, we’re faced by the fact of what mankind has done with its mind, by what good men have trained their minds to do, which is, for the most part, collect and store data—enrich the mind with knowledge—explore history to validate and correlate the facts, and develop sciences to expand domination beyond the capabilities of their human capacities. We have megaliths and dolmens all over the place attesting to the legacy of demonstrating power, or, as C. S. Lewis called it, “that hideous strength.”

Now, if there’s nothing inherently wrong with the design and purpose of the human mind, which is a capacity-of-consciousness, ordained to process and apply creative thought, we’re faced with the fact that the content-of-consciousness, used to develop civilizations, has not much been concerned to consider the way-of-Life, let alone allowing Life to call the shots, as it has been and is (concerned) to sustain and magnify self-centered intentions, albeit imagined to be for the best, but clearly without the vision of wisdom.

My poet friend Don Hynes up in Oregon offered these insightful thoughts:

I have a few thoughts concerning the use of wetiko as a substitute for the “devil” as Martin used the term. I’ve met Paul Levy who popularized this term in western psychology, taken from the Native American use as Will notes, and am familiar with Levy’s writings and blog posts. I believe wetiko is a most accurate term for the mass psychosis present in western civilization at this time, but as we might agree has been around for quite a while, and in my judgement would make a ready substitute for what Martin often termed “human nature.”

However, by the “devil,” Martin, or perhaps I should say I, would indicate an incarnate presence, not a widespread illness as it were. By impersonalizing the “devil” I think the important link of evil with human embodiment is missed. Just as Martin surely emphasized the human form of divine or spiritual government, so I believe he would agree there is a similar form in the focus of anti-spirit or the anti-Christ to use John’s term from 1 John 4:3 in the NT.

I won’t belabor this but offer it as my thoughts concerning Martin’s use of this specific term. I believe the anti-Christ is present in a number of humans who wield the powers of darkness and desolation, the “spiritual wickedness in high places” referred to by the apostle Paul, but the ultimate presence may be with us as well.

Geoff Tish sent these succinct words of wisdom from “down under” in New Zealand:
Doing nothing whilst achieving everything, is the master art to practice now. Love is the way of the Master.

PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR

IT HAS BEEN SAID that perfect love — which is unconditional — casts out fear.  This mass paranoia and “psychosis” that has infected the world is nothing more than a mind-virus.  When a person goes into a fight-flight-or-freeze stress mode, the reptilian brain takes over in a survival mode blocking off all access to critical thinking with logic and reason, love and compassion, functions of the frontal lobe and the cerebrum.  All true thinking comes to a halt, along with the body’s immune system.  How, then, can one have “perfect love” when one’s only concern is to survive a global pandemic?  A large part of the answer lies in facing what it is that one fears and embracing it.  The larger part lies in the direction and object of our love.

Death is not something to fear but something to welcome as a passage to a higher level of life and creativity, a release from the prison of a physical form that offers very limited range of movement, for one thing, and an insecure and fragile abode for another.  From the moment it is born into the material world the human form begins to die and return to the humus from which it arose.  It’s the arduous task of our healthcare system to stave off the inevitable.  To facilitate this process, Life has provided scavengers to help break down and eliminate the metabolic waste of organic processes.  They’re called “viruses.”

Yes, viruses are organisms we cannot do without.  We wouldn’t make it very far past the crib without them.  They get rid of toxic waste, the breeding ground for pathogens and disease.  In my practice I noticed a repeating pattern that demonstrated this function of viruses in patients that tested positive for a virus after having gotten over a bacterial infection.  The metabolic waste from infection fighting needed cleaning up.  I’ve seen videos showing perfectly healthy cells morph into viruses where scavenging of toxic waste was needed.  This Coronavirus would not be scavenging around in our bodies unless there was toxic waste to scavenge.  With diseases and death, the condition of the host is always the primary consideration in determining the cause.

On the other side of this paradoxical existence, without a means of returning our human flesh to dust, we might live longer than we are want to in these limiting forms.  That would be a travesty for sure.  We would never be released from the material realm and return to the realms of light.  In the realms of light, there are no viruses.  There’s no need for them, nor for pathogens — nor for death.

Should we dare to look deeper into this “rabbit hole” we may even discover that we don’t really belong here in this plane of temporary existence.  This so-called “existential crisis” with which our planet is presenting us may be trying to tell us we don’t belong here at the level of the animal kingdom — where we behave like beasts at times — and that it’s time to let go of this world we’ve created and be about the business of creating a New World, a world that accommodates spiritual beings incarnate in capacities of light substance that do not break down, get sick and die.  What’s there to fear in this scenario?

Oh that we could just let go and embrace a new way of living in this magical universe!  Death, then, would surely lose its sting.  Wetiko, this paralyzing mind virus, would be dissipated for the construct of thought it is that has no reality to it whatsoever.  There’s really nothing to be afraid of and everything to look forward to in this right of passage we call death.

As for a “devil” entity in the world, an embodied anti-Christ as my poet friend describes “the mass psychosis present in western civilization at this time,” perhaps such a devil is in the details, as we say.  And there are so many details in our lives calling for our attention; lots of peripheral fallout from this pandemic, for instance.  I read in the Washington Post that some 140,000 children under age 18 have lost parents or caregivers between March 2020 and June 2021—just one of many crises facing people the world over.  These can be seen a distractions from what’s going on above and behind the surface play of events.  I’m not being cold and uncaring here.  On the contrary, I’m offering a higher view and perspective above our circumstances.

If we human beings are being asked to let go of this corrupt world, then let us do so graciously and with a attitude of gratitude.  Let us awaken fully to our purpose for incarnating at this moment in time, this historical moment when an old world is passing away needing our blessing, while a new world and New Earth are being born needing our welcome and stewardship.  The second answer to my question “How, then, can one have ‘perfect love’ when one’s only concern is to survive a global pandemic?” lies in what or who is the object of my love response.

There is no more worthy object of our love than our Creator.  Sometimes in our anguish and grief we look to God with an attitude of blame. “How could God allow this to happen?!” Job’s attitude is exemplary: “Though he slay me yet will I trust him.”  In this biblical story, Job lost everything and was himself inflicted with boils.  His three friends tried to comfort him by encouraging him to blame God for his troubles.  Instead, he blessed God and praised him for his wonderous works.  The result was that everything he lost was returned to him sevenfold.

If you need some encouraging words of comfort, you may find solace in Sharon Hart’s recent post on Facebook:

“To all my friends out there who know what’s really going on… To all who see through conspiracies and are intuitive… Yes, sometimes it’s a curse and not always a blessing to be awake. Awakening is the most liberating, alienating, excruciating, empowering, lonely, confusing, freeing, frightening, expansive journey.

If you find yourself struggling as you try to process all this insanity, you are not alone. No one talks about the darkness that accompanies awakening, or the GRIEF. Not only grieving the life and illusions you once had but the realization that almost everything you thought you once knew, is a LIE. The beliefs you’ve held, people you were taught to trust, principles you were taught- ALL LIES.

Shattering illusions is RARELY an enjoyable experience. There is a considerable amount of discomfort that comes with growth and the grieving process doesn’t stop there.  With these newfound realizations, you then find yourself grieving all over again.  Grieving the loss of many relationships with people who just don’t and won’t “get it.”

Feeling alone; being ridiculed and shamed, not only by the masses but for many of you, your very own family and friends too. Feeling like you no longer have much in common with the people you are surrounded by. Struggling with carrying on bullshit, shallow conversations that lack substance with those who are still fast asleep.  Even feeling disconnected from your entire support system because they can’t see what you see. Some even grieve the loss of their ignorance — because “ignorance is bliss” and reality is harsh.

Awakening can be a lonely road and you will often find yourself journeying alone.  There is no way to sugarcoat it – Awakening to the realities of this world is brutal. It will have you running through the entire gamut of human emotions.  You have to master the art of diving down the darkest of rabbit holes only to come out and still function in daily life, and that’s a skill people don’t talk about enough.

Some of you are struggling with feeling disconnected from family and friends, it’s as though they exist in another world.  Please know you are not alone, and not only are you not alone, you have an entire tribe standing with you. We may be separated by miles, but we are deeply connected; in purpose and in spirit”. (Author unknown)
Sharon wrote in response to this:
“When I read this I responded – Exactly, but it’s worth it because we will be creating the New Earth – and much sooner than you think.”

This is a time for a reset of our priorities.  We are blessed to have one another to love and care for and share life with. We are blessed by our Creator with a consciousness to know ourselves and each other; above all to know our Creator and share in the creation of our world. To serve God is a privilege not to be taken lightly or begrudgingly, but with a glad heart and an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. Though he slay me, yet will I love and trust him . . . the devil be damned.

I welcome your thoughts on the subject, which you can share with others by posting them in the comment section.  Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

I received several responses to my previous post, which I always welcome and truly appreciate.  Don Hynes’s poem, from which the above quote is taken, found resonance in many.  With this post, I wish to visit my previous post where I intentionally omitted two phrases from the passage I borrowed from Martin Exeter’s service, which I did simply in an effort to be discrete so as not to place word barriers in anyone’s way that may bar them from reading on and hearing what I had to say.

The phrases I omitted are “the blatherings of Satan” and the phrase referring to angels “presenting themselves before the Lord and refusing to be distracted by Satan.”  My rationale is that words, like “Lord” and “Satan,” carry familiar baggage accumulated over the years from repeated usage with limited understanding . . . which also makes them useful in connecting with an audience.  The Master Jesus referenced the “laws and the prophets” and spoke in parables to connect with the people of his day.  With his disciples, whom he came to call “friends,” he spoke more directly as they had become seasoned enough for straight talk without the necessity for parables.

Since the time these words of Lord Exeter were spoken some forty-three years ago, human consciousness has begun to awaken to the awareness of the oneness of heaven and earth in a multidimensional world of Reality. Those of us who have awakened to the truth know that neither God nor Satan are separate from human beings.  God is not “up there in heaven,” and Satan is not “down there in hell” somewhere, or lurking around whispering evil thoughts into our ears.  God is “so close as to not even be near,” as one spiritual author wrote, and Satan is none other than our own human mind when it is self-active and running its own thoughts rather than being the still lens it was created to be focusing the truth of love for our expression in living.  It can play the role of Satan with its blathering, or it can play the role of Lucifer, the Light-bearer.  My mind is at my command, and I decide the role it will play: “Be still and know that I Am your lord, Lucifer, and the Lord of lords is my Lord, to whom alone I am answerable.” Within the divine order and cosmology, there exists a network of focused points of light, some greater than others, nevertheless all contained within the wholeness of the One Supreme Being and Creator of the Universe. Thus the phrases “Lord of lords” and “King of kings.”

Perhaps I could take the liberty of paraphrasing so as to bring it all closer to home. For example: “I present my outer self before my inner Self and tell my blathering mind to be quiet and focus on what I have to say and do!”  That could be seen as the first step toward the resolution of noisome dissonance in my consciousness: stop the blathering of the mind and be quiet. The next step might best be understood in the context of this phrase: “I present myself in silence before the LORD of lords, having put my blathering mind behind me.” Just saying this effects an inner alignment of my human capacities—and attunement with the WORD, another verbal symbol for the LORD.  Yet, even this does not entirely remove the connotation of separateness.

Finite words, symbols that they are, fall short in the effort to articulate infinite reality. It may be that we have come to that moment in time where silence alone is all that is necessary to resolve the dissonance in our collective consciousness and in the world. I recall a phrase from the Scriptures that says something about silence: “The Lord is in his holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him.” (Habakkuk 20:20) There are times while watching the news that I know the meaning of this passage and I simply reach for the remote control and turn off the television, and the blathering of the media.

I would now like to present an excerpt from an evocative service given by Lord Martin Exeter (1909-1988) given back in 1979.  Lord Martin Cecil Exeter became the Seventh Marquees of Exeter with the passing of his brother in 1981, He first moved to the Cariboo in the 1930s to take care of his family’s large ranch at 100 Mile House, BC., where he played a central role in its development.  In this excerpt, Lord Exeter speaks candidly to the reality of angelic presence in the world of dissonance and specifically how we as angels present ourselves to people in our worlds.  In his address to this particular gathering, he refers to those present as “emissaries,” signifying those who represent a higher realm of Being to a lower; in this case the Creator to creation. He speaks specifically to the “stature” of the angels incarnate and the role the angels play in the resurrection and ascension—first of human consciousness and then of the earth—to a higher level of being.

Whether or not human beings are aware, we are creator beings. As creator-beings—another term for angels—we incarnated on Earth at the bequest of our Creator.  In effect, we volunteered to come here and represent the Creator to His creation and creation to the Creator.  Included in our domain of representation are the people on earth—each of us individually having those in our immediate worlds for whom we are responsible in our representation.  Martin offers a comparative perspective with regard to the size of the earth, which may seem large to us, whereas in comparison to our universe, our planetary domicile and domain are very small.  On the other hand, the One whom we represent is large in comparison to the angel, and the countless host of angels that are in God are each one as a grain of sand in comparison to God. So we represent something very great and large to a rather small and seemingly insignificant world, and something comparatively small to an Almighty God.  If we think of this in terms of stature, our angelic stature is large relative to humans, while being quite small relative to God.

Martin speaks forthrightly to incarnate angels everywhere who are emerging in an apocalypse of angelic light speaking truth to power and handling situations in the world with assurance and integrity:

As angels, we do not wish to behave in a brash manner. At the same time we should never deny our stature in our dealings and relationships with the people. It seems that very often emissaries have felt at a disadvantage somehow when working with people in the world. What is meant when it is indicated that one should be spiritual? In the human view this means innocuous, unimportant, unnecessary. The attitude of human nature is that it can get along very well without anything spiritual, except possibly as some sort of an adjunct to human nature. If spiritual things can be used to advantage in what human nature wants to do, well let’s include spiritual things. But it is all self‑centered, isn’t it? As angels, we are certainly not at any disadvantage with respect to people. Our stature is vast relative to the stature of any particular human nature. And while this should not make us conceited—this is angelic nature—we certainly would not deny our authority or our ability to handle what needs to be handled as angels.

The Master never denied His own reality. Occasionally that seemed to get Him into hot water, but He was able to handle the hot water quite easily—no problem. As there is the greater emergence into expression of the angelic nature, we find ourselves at a considerable advantage in the world and in our dealings with people. We really know what it is that is going on, whereas human beings in the world have very little idea as to what is going on. They see things in a very restricted way. There is a very limited outlook and a great deal of uncertainty. Of course human nature puts on a good front occasionally, but let us not be fooled by that. As incarnate angels we are far more capable of handling what needs to be handled than anyone else is, no matter how much of an expert they may be. I’m not speaking particularly of some sort of technical expertise in which we might not be well‑versed. I am thinking of this more in terms of the handling of human nature, the handling of people. In all aspects of human nature function where people are concerned, we need to recognize that we ourselves have a far larger vision, a far greater understanding, than human nature people could possibly have. So we don’t downgrade ourselves. Let’s not put the day off, so that we have to be presented with some particular situation before we will admit that we really do know. Why not admit that we really do know right now?

The pressure of our representation of God to the people—which is what it is—is not particularly in question at the moment, at least not in a specific way in the external sense; but the opportunities will arise certainly in the days to come, where all of you will be handling people and situations in a manner that reveals your capacity to represent God. God isn’t silly and God isn’t stupid. God understands what the situation is. If we represent Him, that is true of us. We don’t need to bog ourselves down in some vast cosmic view and say, “Well I don’t understand that.” That’s not the point. Why would it be necessary to understand that? The only thing that is necessary is to understand the field of our own responsibility which, much of the time, is seemingly quite small. But occasionally we find ourselves projected into a situation where there are other people who are presumably supposed to be experts, but we find out that they are not, that we know a lot more than they do. They have all the book-learning which we may not have, but we have the understanding—and it’s not “Let it be by the hand of another,” but “Let it be by the Word of God.” And we are on hand to speak the Word of God.

Human beings have peculiar concepts about the Word of God—a sort of rolling thunder expression. But I don’t think you have much acquaintance with the Word of God in that clothing; that only happens in movies, doesn’t it, where a disembodied, echoing voice comes on the scene. That isn’t really the way it works. That’s fanciful imagination. Man was created with the voice mechanism so that the Word of God could be spoken on earth. And if the voice mechanism of man is not available to be used, the Word of God is not spoken on earth. But we are offering this mechanism for use, and so the Word of God can be spoken on earth because we are here and because we are handling these situations. And we don’t have any concept that what we say must sound as though it was God speaking, because that would be pandering to human nature, wouldn’t it? And it wouldn’t go down very well with human nature either.

All that is necessary is to speak the words that are necessary and that are fitting in the situation as it arises, having an awareness that we are the ones to handle it. This doesn’t mean either that we go barging in and pushing everybody else aside and say, “Well now I’m going to handle this!” We have no evidence that the Master ever did any such thing. He was quite discreet. However, when He found Himself in a situation, He did not deny His own reality. And He found Himself in a situation very often where the ball was tossed to Him. And we will find ourselves in such situations, partly because people want to test out, but partly also because there is an increasing awareness on the part of many that here is someone who could have the answer. So if the ball is tossed to us we handle it in whatever way may be fitting. We may hold onto the ball and provide what is necessary in a direct way. On the other hand it may be fitting sometimes to toss the ball back. The Master was very expert at this, so that those who were trying to put Him on the spot found themselves put on the spot.

What He said on such occasions has been clothed in a certain type of language, in the King James version of the Bible, which commonly we would not speak nowadays. That has tended to give a sort of aura which is deemed to characterize the words of God, as though we had to speak in Biblical language. No, we speak in the tongue that is now understood. We speak in tongues in this sense, so that those to whom we speak can understand us and can have the opportunity of receiving what it is we offer, without our engendering wrong reactions by what we say or how we say it. We learn to be very diplomatic on many occasions; we also learn to be very forthright on some occasions—whatever is fitting. And as we learn to offer what is spiritually fitting we are speaking the Word of God. This is the way by which what needs to be done on earth in our fields of responsibility may be done. We find that our stature is far greater than human nature stature.

Let us not ever try to inflate ourselves in human nature, because somebody is going to prick the balloon and then there is a sense of being shattered. On that basis one is always on the defensive. We are not on the defensive. We are just offering into every situation what is needed there. But our stature relative to human nature is great. We need to have a consciousness of this as our angelic nature emerges, begins to come forth. We are small before God, but we are large before people. I would stress the fact that being large before people doesn’t mean that we stand up and beat our chests. It just means that we reveal that we are capable. We are capable of doing whatever it is that needs to be done. We don’t thrust ourselves forward, but when we find the ball is in our hands we carry it, we do with it whatever is necessary. But there needs to be this sense of stature relative to human nature, so that you are never intimidated by human nature. You represent God to the people—and you couldn’t do this without being large. So there comes a consciousness of stature. It is enhanced by reason of the fact that one does find out, in various situations, that it really is true, that one has the stature. And, for some at least, there may be a little amazement to find out that one was so much more capable than everybody else in the human nature field. This is not to say that we may not find that there are those in the human nature field still who at the same time have some sensing of the reality of angelic stature. These people you will find work with you. Sometimes it will seem that the most unlikely people are the ones who work with you. The ones you have fingered as being the ones are not the ones at all. You let it prove itself out while retaining your own integrity and your own stature, your own sense of angelic nature.

So there is this largeness in the representation of God in one’s own experience but smallness in representing the people to God. There is always humility before God. This obviously is representing the right attitude of the people toward God: you are humble before God, you are very conscious of your insignificance in God. But the fact of insignificance in God, because God is so limitless, in no way denies your stature in the world. We have that stature, we are responsible for it. This is related to the upward view and the downward view. There is another way this is sometimes considered—the inward view and the outward view. Now we can see how this inward view, when people look in, there is a tendency for them to think that they are looking toward something rather small. And when we look out it’s this vastness—we live in a big world, and that big world goes on and on and on in a vast universe. We think of the largeness therefore as being external and the smallness internal, which, from our previous considerations, you can see is just the reverse of the fact. The smallness is external, the largeness is internal.

It has been said that we do not live inside our bodies but that our bodies live inside of us, at the center of our rather large energetic field, similar to the earth at the center of its gigantic magnetic field.  Our spirit is much larger than our form.  I welcome your thoughts as you wish to share them. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

“Who Am I?”

“Man is unique not because he does science, and he is unique not because he does art, but because science and art equally are expressions of his marvelous plasticity of mind.” Jacob Bronowski

In the PBS concert presentation of Les Miserables earlier this past Summer, Jean Valjean seeks an answer to the ancient question: “Who am I?”– to which Marius, the young man whose life he had just saved, responds “You are Jean Valjean.” But that answer doesn’t seem to satisfy Jean Valjean’s deeper query, as he keeps repeating “Who am I?”– as though asking “Who is this man I’ve become? What fate has brought me to this end? What have I done in past lives? What karma have I brought with me to this life? Why am I here now? WHO AM I?”

These questions stir deep currents in my soul. I will speak candidly here. Whether or not these were Jean Valjean’s deeper queries, they are mine today.  Oh, I can give answers to them, answers that I’ve learned during my spiritual awakening, but they somehow do not satisfy the deeper query of the mind — and it is the mind that is asking.

know who I AM.  My mind, on the other hand, has its uncertainties, as though it has a separate identity and history from who I Am — even a collective one.  After all, my personal intellect will evaporate with my physical body’s last breath. However, the Body of Mankind is still around after all these thousands of years, and the collective Mind, which we all share, is still alive and active in this world, having acquired its own separate identity as the “human ego.”

But why are these questions visiting my mind now in this day and time — and they do seem personal. Is it my Catholic upbringing that has made it so easily susceptible to guilt and blame when things fall apart? Whence is this guilt that lingers in my mind — and in my heart? Has my mind poisoned my heart with guilt and blame?  Why the feelings of guilt over ancient failures and catastrophes, as though I was there and responsible for them? Was I there?!  Is this voice in my head the voice of the collective Mind awakening from its coma wondering what’s been going on all these eons of time while it slumbered in amnesia, and now asking “WHO AM I?”

Lucifer — Light Bearer — Morning Star

The archaic word “Lucifer” has been with me for several decades, much like an archetypal presence, ever since I heard my spiritual mentor speak of the return of this “fallen angel” to its rightful place in Heaven as the “Light Bearer.” I have thought long and hard about this over the years, as something within me identifies with Lucifer.  My role in life seems to be associated somehow with Lucifer? Am I simply one of many incarnate angels whose role it is to be a Light Bearer in this world?

Here is a passage from the Gospel of John that poses a question for me:

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.”

Was the Evangelist John a Lucifer?

I’ll take this a step further and ask: Why is Lucifer also the name given to the Devil and Satan? And how can Satan, who is also called the “Prince of darkness” be a bearer of Light?  The prophet Isaiah had some words to say about Lucifer:

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” For thou hast said in thine heart, “I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. I will be like the Most High.”

Yet, thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying: “Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?” (Isaiah 14:12-17)

This sounds more like a celestial event involving comets and planets than a biblical one involving angels and men — given the cataclysmic upheavals in our planet’s ancient history where, in one episode, the planet Venus, for instance, was given the name “Baal Zevuv” (which later became Beelzebub), and “Lucifer,” the “Morning Star,” due to her brightness in the early morning sky before she was “cut down to the ground” to become a comet for several terrifying decades until she was restored to the status of planet.

This all makes it obvious that one cannot take biblical accounts literally, as men in those days didn’t know what to make of the cataclysmic events occurring in the heavens and on the earth. So they made up stories to pass on to their offspring . . . and to record in the history books, which the Bible is, “The Story of Man.”

The word Lucifer was not always associated with the Devil and Satan.  In one of the Gnostic Gospels, for example, Jesus calls Mary Magdalene “Mary Lucifer” because of her brightness of spirit, her mental acuity,  and her passionate love for him.  He was the Light of the world and she his “Beloved Companion” in their shared mission, his Light-bearer, the “Apostle of apostles.” She knew and understood him while the other disciples only believed in Him — except for John the Beloved, who also knew and loved him. They both shared a conscious awareness of his mission and purpose, his divinity, as well as their own.

Who and what is Lucifer?

Here’s my take: Lucifer in Heaven was a bearer of the Light of Truth, and after his fall from grace, from Heaven, he became the Devil and Satan, the “Prince of darkness” and “the Prince of this world.” If this is so, Satan is no longer in Heaven but on Earth; no longer an invisible but a rather visible entity on the material plane of this world, which we should be able to see. I believe we do — and not in the television series.

Where is this Satan, then? Is he embodied by Donald Trump, perhaps? Some may think so. Maybe by the Koch brothers and the Cabal that rule the world economy from Wall Street and the World Bank? Is he in Russia as Vladimir Putin, or more likely in the murderous dictator of Syria, Bashar Hafez al-Assad — who, by the way, was born in Damascus on September 11, 1965. Did Assad bring down the World Trade Center to celebrate his 36th birthday? The number 36 can be interpolated as three sixes — 666, the “number of the beast, which is also the number of a man.” The number 666 is also the address of the Jared Kushner Tower on Fifth Avenue, which was recently bailed out by Qatar in Saudi Arabia, where Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman lives in decadence. Perhaps he is the “Prince of this world.” Maybe the Devil is all of the above. So many “evil men” at which to point the finger.

Here’s something significant:  The Hebrew for the blamer is shatan, or obstacle; the Greek for divider is diabolos. Hmm….

I don’t believe the Devil is anyone or anywhere “out there.” I believe that we humans are devils when we cast blame and pass judgement on one another, and are hateful and cruel toward ourselves and one another.

(I just learned today that human trafficking is the number one illegal money maker, a near forty-billion-dollar-a-year business globally — with illegal drug sales second and gun sales third.)

In my early years, while studying for the Catholic priesthood, my father used to advise me not to try and save the Devil, as he was lost forever. As I awakened spiritually, I began to understand more about who the Devil is, and I found myself doing exactly the contrary. This has been a central part of my life’s mission and purpose: saving Lucifer from perdition by inviting my own mind, drawn by its love for the beauty of Truth, to ascend to its appointed place in Heaven as the Light Bearer it was designed to be. This is my whole purpose for writing: to shine Light on the path of our sojourn through this “valley of the shadow of death.”

I see light shining in this valley as more and more angels incarnate, emissaries of Light, are using their minds to shine the Light of Truth into the consciousness of mankind, enlightening us about our true state and that of our world — but also about our humanity and our true identity:  Be Your Humanity: Know Your Divinity

Life in this chaotic world is beginning to be brightened a bit because Lucifer is being restored to its heavenly role as Light Bearer . . . shining Light as well on our self-active past:

The Ascent of Man such celebrated “great minds” as Dr. Jacob Bronowski, and Sir David Attenborough on Overpopulation, speak of is more about the awakening of the mind to its reckless past and to the stark realities of existence on a rather small planet that has limited accommodations for its voracious appetite for more of everything, including people. It is precisely man’s “marvelous plasticity of mind,” along with his wild and evil imagination, that are responsible for the dire straits in which we find ourselves today.

I believe the so-called “Devil” is simply the self-active mind of man, and that Lucifer is the Truth-active Mind of Man, neither of which has a separate identity from who I AM.  For it is with our minds that we shine the Light of Truth in this darkened world full of hate and lies.  The mind is a wonderful capacity when used as a lens to refocus the Light of Truth from within and not as a reservoir of “knowledge” that, given its rather thin substance, can easily become overwhelmed and fragile with too much information and so-called “knowledge.” And its rightful place is not up front leading the way with its bright ideas and empty promises, but behind us, with our Spirit, the Light of Love that we are, leading forth in our lives.  This is the truth of our humanity and our identity, a truth we must come to love and cherish in our hearts.

I’ll leave you to ponder these words of Lloyd A. Meeker (Uranda):

The Truth, through the mind, through the working of intelligence, provides the design, the factors of form in concept or belief; and Love, through the heart, animates that which is accepted by the mind. And the physical body receives that which is so established, for the body as such has no choice but to receive that which is imposed upon it. . . .

Human beings accept certain things in the sense of intellectual beliefs, but that which is animated in the actual expression of their lives takes form on the basis of resentment ideas, fear ideas, rebellion ideas, or hate ideas. The real feeling manifests in the range of something which carries a critical, condemnatory or destructive attitude, and that which is of the Divine Design, even though it be seen, is not animated in the individual life because there is no particular feeling in regard to it. . . .

Illumination comes when the mind accepts the Truth idea, and the Dominion idea, in a manner which allows the heart to animate the Dominion, Kingdom idea. Any constructive idea which becomes animated through the heart brings some degree of Illumination—vividness of comprehension and appreciation; for Illumination is simply comprehension coupled with due appreciation. By reason of appreciation there is the acceptance of value.  (Uranda)

I  will continue with the series on the spiritual significance of the Thyroid gland in my next post.  Until then,

Be love. Be loved.
