Gurdjieff’s Ray of Creation: A Cosmic Symphony

“In my Father’s house are many mansions.”

* * *

BEFORE getting into the main topic of this post, I would like to share a comment on my previous post by my poet friend, Don Hynes, along with his songful poem of blessing:

“This is a beautiful post. The historical scheme may be questioned but the vibration is perfect. In this air cycle of awakening our purpose is to accelerate human conscious-ness that it may rise with the ascending vibration of the Sun enveloping the Earth. Of course the specific consciousness is my own, the individual always, but also to befriend each other in this task, those seen and unseen, known and unknown, that all may rise in this new day. If you will allow, I’ll close with a few poetic words that might add to your masterwork:

We are an old people,
the stories say among the first,
who walked the land
when fresh with the Creator’s touch.
Though scarred with years of trouble
we still sing the blessing songs,
greeting the Sun each day
with the thankfulness it deserves.
And so I sing for you this morning
a song of your belonging,
child of a distant Light
and ancient Mother,
may you walk in beauty
all your days, and if forgotten
may this song remind you.

* * *

THANK YOU DON. We are indeed “an old people” . . . and we live on an old planet in an even older universe. How old nobody can really know, though scientific estimates have been made. What is time anyway? Everything happens in this eternal now. There is, however, great but simple method to the ongoing unfolding evolution of the universe as it moves forward through cycles of chaos-to-order and dissonance-to-consonance.

As George Gurdjieff reminds us in his Law of Seven (also called the Law of Octaves) — which I explored in my previous post — “nothing continues forever.” Creation unfolds within an energetic and musical continuum. Or as Russell Walter postulates, “Everything that is, is of everything else that is. Nothing is of itself alone. All created things are indissolubly united”. . . and sing together the “Music of the Spheres,” as George Gurdjieff demonstrates in his “Ray of Creation.” And there’s no one more articulate and comprehensive in unpacking Gurdjieff ‘s complex and profound vision of “worlds within worlds” than Episcopal prelate and author, Cynthia Bourgeault. So I will share excerpts from her book THE EYE OF THE HEART in bringing you Gurdjieff’s cosmogony in the context of her life’s journey in search and discovery of the “Imaginal Realm”. . . and its location and function within the Ray of Creation. This first excerpt if from chapter two “Worlds Within Worlds.”

The Ray of Creation

Gurdjieff actually makes use of two cosmic maps, and to situate the imaginal sphere of operations within his teaching, you have to overlay them.

The first, and probably more widely known of these (because of its close tie-in with the enneagram and the Law of Seven), is his Ray of Creation, which, as I have mentioned already, is the Gurdjieffian version of the Great Chain of Being. In most respects this follows the standard processionary model of traditional [religious] sophia perennis metaphysics, with progressively denser and colder kingdoms emerging out of that initial fiery explosion of the divine will-to-form that sets the whole thing in motion. The counter-entropic trajectory is not at first clearly visible.

What is immediately interesting about this map, however, is that the entire ray is located within the physical universe — although of course, the word physical here must be expanded to the widest and wildest reaches of our cosmological imagination. Gurdjieff’s “Megalocosmos,” the vast celestial canvas on which his map is drawn, stretches even beyond the fourteen billion years of our present “universe story,” reaching back into that implicitly endless matrix from which big bangs emerge like virtual particles. It is on the grandest possible cosmic scale that his vision plays out.

So too, the realms on this ray are not named by spiritual or theological names, as is typical of sophia perennis metaphysics. You will not find here logoic realms, angelic realms, heaven and hell realms — or for that matter, imaginal realms. Instead, you will find actual inter-planetary locations, named in an order that some of you may find strangely familiar: dominus (Holy Absolute), siderum (all galaxies), lactera (Milky Way, our galaxy), sol (our sun),fatum (fate, our own solar system or sphere of planetary influence), mixtus orbis (“mixed realm,” our planet earth), regina coeli (queen of the heavens, the
moon) — or do, si, la, sol, fa, mi, re, do. (bold emphasis added)

Wait a minute! Isn’t that our modern Western musical scale?

Indeed, it is. And this is where the second fascinating feature of the Ray of Creation comes in. According to Gurdjieff, our modern major scale actually preserves in the names of its notes and the arrangement of its intervals a vestigial memory of an ancient esoteric teaching about the “cosmic solfeggio,” not only in the way in which the created order originally came into existence but also in the way in which energy is continuously transmitted and replenished along the Ray of Creation. That knowledge is still there, hidden in plain sight in the musical scale, to be dug out by those so inclined; its articulation dovetails precisely with what in the Gurdjieff work is known as the Law of Seven, the Law of World Maintenance.

This is not the place to get sidetracked into a lengthy discussion of the Law of Seven. . . . But from the point of view of imaginal exchange, it does yield up one very interesting piece of data, again a stable feature of the Law of Seven. If you look at the schematic that follows, you notice those two lines cutting across the map, between do and si near the top and between fa and mi closer to the bottom. These correspond to the “hesitation” points on the ray — half steps on the musical scale — where a new infusion of energy, or a different kind of energy, must be introduced in order to keep the whole ray flowing on trajectory. Otherwise the whole thing will veer off track or be halted at a threshold it cannot cross. In Gurdjieffian terminologies, these are the “shock” points, the places where the entire progression is the most vulnerable but, equally, the most permeable.

GURDJIEFF’S RAY OF CREATION

In the case of the higher (do-si) shock point, that bridging energy is provided by the will of the Holy Absolute, still close enough to ground zero to easily span the descending gap. In the latter case, as we will see shortly, the shock point falls right between fa, the traditional endpoint of the so-called subtle realms, and mi, the beginning of those “dense material realms.” And this is exactly the place where traditional metaphysics and I locate the imaginal realm. In other words, the mi-fa shock point falls right in the middle of the imaginal intertidal zone. In and of itself, if you ponder it deeply, this realization will tell you most everything you need to know about the primary cosmic function of the imaginal realm and our specific human contribution to this sphere of operations. But since these ideas may be very new to some of you not previously familiar with Gurdjieffian metaphysics, rest assured that I will circle back in chapter 3 and unpack them much
more systematically.

I like this first map because it is real. Not only does it accord with a more contemporary understanding of the relationship between matter and energy, it also situates the whole unfolding here (admittedly a huge and vast “here”) rather than in some mirage-like “spiritual” realm that floats “above” our visible solar system like a huge celestial theme park. It calls us to order, to a path of transformation that does not lead us away from materiality but straight into it and through it. Particularly when we enter those two lowest realms, mi and re, we are talking about our actual earth and our actual moon, and we are discussing planetary evolution along lines strikingly parallel to Teilhard de Chardin’s. Nor will Gurdjieff let us off the hook here. For him, the major vehicle mediating that mi-fa shock is the biosphere — yes, organic life on earth! — and its ultimate recipient is the moon, not our eternal souls. And yes, our conscious attention and willing participation will certainly make a huge difference in how our contribution is mediated and in which realm it is received. But willingly or unwillingly the tribute is exacted, and it is paid in the coin of this realm, in flesh and blood. Our inner work exists within the Megalocosmos and for the sake of the Megalo-cosmos, not the other way around; it is important never to forget this.

MIXED REALM

Our own Earth realm has long been known on the cosmological maps as mixtus orbis, the “mixed realm.” While the full explanation for this designation is complex, something does seem to get mixed and mingled here. We humans are curiously bilingual; we speak the language of this world with all its charms and nuances, but we also strain toward that invisible other that seems to hover right beyond us in those dazzling glimpses and visions: that intuition of “another intensity,” in the words of T. S. Eliot, to which we know we also belong. That invisible but always interpenetrating other is the imaginal realm.”

The earlier metaphysical roadmaps, as mentioned, tended to draw a sharp dividing line between matter and spirit, with the result that the imaginal, hovering just on the horizon of our mixtus orbis, often appeared to be a world in itself, with no obvious commerce with our own. As the last outpost of the “spiritual” realms, how and why would it bridge the divide into the material realms? In the previous chapter I tried to recast this traditional metaphysical habit in terms of the more contemporary under-standing that there is in fact no such “divide” but rather a single continuum of energy manifesting in various degrees of subtlety or coarseness. Transposing the metaphysical map from its original Platonic milieu to this more Einsteinian one in fact takes us far beyond traditional esoteric understandings of the imaginal, which focused on the personal and elusive nature of this realm, into a new appreciation of its collective and evolutionary importance.

It was Gurdjieff who really got the ball rolling here by adding in the key puzzle piece (undetectable through the lens of traditional sophia perennis metaphysics), which he called “reciprocal feeding.” He proposed that along the entire Ray of Creation (his equivalent term for the Great Chain of Being), there is a continuous, active exchange proceeding in both directions — not only from higher realms to lower but also from lower to higher — in order to maintain the entire ray in a state of dynamic equilibrium according to a cosmic principle to which he gives the rather unwieldy name “Trogoautoegocrat.”

Mouthful though the term may be, the idea itself is a remarkably prescient attempt to view the entire created order as what we would nowadays call a “self-specifying system,” a whole greater than the sum of its parts, whose chief metaphysical feature is no longer involution — the gradual loss of energy as the lower end of the chain plunges steadily toward entropy — but rather an elaborate homeostasis that preserves (and even increases) the energy of the total system as each realm makes its required contri-bution to the whole.

Gurdjieff referred to this system as “reciprocal feeding” for good reason: the exchange he has in mind involves the actual transformation of cosmic substances based models—more like digestion than the simple information-sharing favored in contemporary consciousness . . . .

But the idea itself is fairly straightforward and so flagrantly timely for a planet careening toward ecological catastrophe that I believe it’s simply no longer conscionable to allow it to be held captive in a maze of Gurdjieffian Fourth Way esoterica. More to our immediate concern here, this broader vision of what amounts to a vast intergalactic bootstrapping is utterly essential if we hope to have some true feeling for what the imaginal realm is all about, beyond just some allusive bandwidth of inner guidance and bedazzling intensity. If exchange is indeed the principal business of this realm, we must picture this exchange from the outset as a two-way street. (All bold emphasis added)

WHERE IS ALL THIS LEADING?

That’s a very appropriate question to ask at this point in the series.  My destination, after laying the groundwork, is the creating ground of the “Imaginal Realm” and the “reciprocal feeding” that takes place in the “exchange between the realms.”  This is the realm where we’re destined to ascend in consciousness, where the two realms meet — and from whence we, as a “conscious circle of humanity,” co-create and recreate the “mixed realm” of the New Earth . . . and our moon, which is included in Gurdjieff’s Ray of Creation. Our fascination with going to the moon is significant at this time . . . but are we in position, mentally and spiritually, to take on the re-creation of our moon while our Home planet goes neglected and raped for her resources? I think not. We would treat Her Majesty no differently. But then, maybe not!

I do hope you enjoy flowing with Cynthia’s stream of consciousness as much as I do. I will share more in my next post, “Worlds Within Worlds.” As always, I welcome your thoughts, insights and inspirations. Until next time,

Be love. Be loved.

Love, the Activating Force on the New Frontier

Light Divine, the Great Creator of the Universe

In all living nature (and maybe even in that which we regard as dead) love is a force inciting creative activity in the most varied directions.” —P.D. Ouspensky

We are definitely on a ‘new’ frontier!”exclaims poet and author Don Hynes in response to my previous post “Visionary Activism.” And so we are. That frontier is the vibrational gateway to the “Whole Holy World,” as contemporary prophet and visionary Lloyd A. Meeker (Uranda) describes the Inner and Outer Realms of Universal Realty—which includes the inner heavenly realms of Creator Beings and the outer earthly realms of Creation, where lords and angels incarnate to exercise dominion and steward the Creative Process.

We are currently moving through the second quarter of the 12th Creative Day, an Air cycle, the second of the Four Creative Forces of Water, Air, Earth and Fire, and rising up to the next octave in the score of the Music of the Spheres, which is an Earth cycle (1 Day = 25,872 yrs). So, something is coming to bear in the planet itself of renewal and upgrading to a higher vibratory frequency, which includes the earth of our physical bodies as well. How harmoniously we transition with the Earth is largely dependent upon the degree to which a critical mass of Humanity is restored to true harmonization with the Cosmic Plan of Restoration in this Air cycle — air signifying spirit. Our harmonization with the Spirit of God is critical to our evolution to a higher vibratory frequency and subsequent ascension out of the darkness of the olden days and into the Light of the New Day dawning. (Click on the image below to enlarge)

CREATION BY THE WORD

The “Spirit of God”— the One Tone of Love — was all there was before the heaven and the earth were created, in that order, along with all else that followed. “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters; and God said, Let there be light.” The Word, a Vibration, moved out into the formless “void” that would soon be filled with the earth and all of its vegetation and living creatures: the birds of the air and fish of sea and creeping, crawling critters . . . and Man, male and female, made in God’s image and likeness. And with that light of the Word of God, and the assistance of Man’s manifesting capacity of Consciousness, We manifested this Solar Entity as a dwelling place in the darkness of the deep of space, a Home among the stars of the Milky Way Galaxy for God and Man to dwell together as One, in peace and harmony.

The Vibration of the One Tone set into motion a vast multitude of overtone and undertones that composed the “Music of the Spheres” and the Matrix for Creation — “when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.” We shout for joy once again as we hear and listen to the morning stars singing their celestial music together, joining our voices in the refrain: “Glory to God in the Highest and peace on earth to all people everywhere.”

This, my dear and faithful readers, is the New Frontier upon which we have embarked and are being required to embrace fully . . . new, that is, to us, and only by reason of its absence from our conscious awareness all these thousands of years (28,183 to be exact) . . . and we’ve only begun awakening to the vastness of our cosmic environment and context in the last 400 years since Galileo gave us the telescope. Now we can peer deeply out into the Universe of stars and galaxies, nebulae and black holes with powerful telescopes and roving satellites launched into outer space . . . even as the veil between the realms thins and opens a sacred space for beings in both heaven and earth to commune and communicate with one another. That space is the “Imaginal Realm” that Cynthia Boureault explores in The Eye of the Heart.

COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE REALMS

Coming back to my poet friend Don Hynes and his comment on a post by Will Wilkinson on Visionary Activism, referencing his commentary on how he responded to a seemingly random thought about his deceased mother, Don wrote:

I’m interested in the origin of the “thought” of your mother. Could that “thought” be a “communication” with “higher” intelligence, that “voice” a direct link to a “guidance” within and without? Rather than a “random” thought, an intentional prod toward a depth of feeling contained in the synapses of memory? A “feeling” as you put it, that urges toward compassion. Perhaps we have partners in “activation” that we might access when we consciously open up the lines of communication and link our incarnate Self to Source. Might our minds be the access tool for this connection, our hearts be the instrument upon which “We” play, and this “activation” as you term it, be the next frontier in conscious evolution?

I am reminded of words I wrote in the foreword of SACRED ANATOMY three decades ago:

What if we sang songs of praise and thanksgiving to the Creator all day long in harmony with our fellow angels in the invisible Realms of Light, whom we could hear and see, and the “lost chord” would once again resound in heaven on earth?

What if we actually knew each other as angels and called each other by our tonal, angelic names and that we loved one another so much that we could do no harm but only blessing toward one another? What if we knew only oneness and isolation were not even possible?

I believe that we experienced these things at one time in a garden state and that we are destined to return to this state collectively. I believe that the kingdom of heaven is truly at hand, not only within us but all around us, and that we have the equipment in our sacred human anatomy and physiology to see it and enter into it to bring heaven into our experience on earth now. I believe that ascension is not only possible for us but is already in process and will shortly begin manifesting as a natural part of our life cycle here on earth. This I know: the Way of ascension is available to us now.

That technology originates from a level or three above the earthly level of our anatomy and physiology. Let me introduce you to the vast scope of this new frontier as mapped out by George Gurdjieff in what he called “The Law of Three” and “The Law of Seven.”

“The “Law of Seven” is described by Gurdjieff as the first fundamental cosmic law. This law is used to explain process. The basic principle of the law of seven explains why nothing in nature and in life constantly occurs in a straight line, that is to say that there are always ups and downs in life which occur lawfully.”

LAW OF SEVEN

Everything in the universe is created and sustained by vibrations — energy enlivening matter produces vibrations. Thoughts and feelings are vibrations, the wind rustling in the leaves is vibration, light reaching us from the sun and the stars is vibration. The whole of our life is vibration, everything that we perceive through our senses and everything we think feel and do.

Music is vibration – the emotional vibrations of a violinist’s inspiration, transmitted through the bow that enlivens the strings to vibrate and move an audience to tears, all this is vibration at every step. Understanding vibration is one way to grasp the essential unity that gives meaning to life.

The Law of Three determines the character and nature of a vibration and the Law of Seven determines how vibrations develop, interact and change. An octave is a repetitive motion. A succession of waves may be building up or dying away — forming an ascending or a descending octave. Each wave is similar but different to the one before and the one after.

The Law of Seven also shows the points in the scale [Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Si-Do] where the rate of increase or decrease of frequency of any vibration slows down. Between Mi-Fa and Si-Do are ‘intervals,’ where a different, extra energy is required to maintain the original impetus. These ‘intervals’ are responsible for the frequent unpredictability of human aims and endeavours.

Different processes, according to the Law of Three, determine which intervals will be filled naturally, so that the progress continues uninterrupted to completion, and also reveal those that require an extra force to be given, without which the progress of the octave will halt or change direction.

We are most conscious of our failures when dealing with new situations, where often ‘things don’t work out’. But lots of things in human society do work out, at least usually. Houses, ships, cars get built; food gets produced and marketed; money gets earned and spent; laws get passed; babies get born. Many other things, new plans and initiatives, just peter out and fade away from lack of the right energy or turn into something quite different from the original conception. Understanding the law of seven is the key to learning how to finish what we start and what to expect along the way.

Depending on whether the octave is ascending or descending and knowing the time scale that applies to any particular example, the intervals can be expected and seen quite clearly. Waiting to cross a busy road it may seem that the stream of traffic will never ease up. Knowing that an ‘interval’ will always occur can avoid much impatience or even a nasty accident.

An ascending octave is like going uphill; it needs effort at every step. Descending octaves are like going downhill; the process is more automatic and goes on by itself after the first step is taken . . . .

The physical world is interpenetrated by the subtle world and the subtle world by the causal world as inner octaves of vibration. . . .

Ouspensky Today (https://www.ouspenskytoday.org/wp/about-teaching-today/the-law-of-seven/)

If you get the impression that the new frontier has something to do with music, then you’re spot on. It is about music — the “Musica Universalis” or Music of the Spheres — inaudible but deeply impactful to our lives on planet Earth . . . as well as to our audible music, as we shall see. “This celestial music is everywhere and nowhere; it is the music of movement between the planets, the members of our solar system”. . . and between suns, solar systems and all heavenly bodies, and between partners in activation on this new frontier. It’s the music of love.

“LOVE NEVER FAILETH”

Man has been mostly in a descending octave ever since his first step out of the Garden. Failure has been too prevalent in past cycles of restoration all down through the ages, symptomatic of a lack of love of God and of neighbor in the lives of human beings. Love never fails, as Paul wrote in his epistle to the Corinthians:

Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Love never faileth.

The ascending cycle we are currently experiencing, initiated by the Lord of Love himself two-thousand years ago, shall not fail. As stewards of the ongoing cycles of evolution and restoration, much of our work lies in providing the impetus through our “Love casting” — upward as a tithe to the One and outward in blessing to our world — that will move the ascending process forward and upward across the Si/Do bridge interval and on up to the next octave. This takes a certain amount of conscious effort to act deliberately.

Creative vibrations, emanating in the Tone of the Word, ascend and descend along the path of the scale of musical tones moving energy — all of which provides us with a segue to the next level of consideration: Gurdjieff’s “Ray of Creation.” For this I will bring in Cynthia Bourgeault as a guide through “worlds within worlds.” I welcome your thoughts and insights. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

Sacred Organic Minerals

“Joy to the world, the Lord is come! Let Earth receive her King. Let every heart preparer Him room, and heaven and nature sing.

Joy to the world the Savior reigns, Let men their songs employ, While fields and floods, Rocks hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy.

He rules the world with truth and grace And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness And wonders of His love.” *

Colorful crystals of the mineral kingdom

HOW BEAUTIFUL AND COLORFUL are these precious crystals of the Mineral Kingdom. Each color represents a different frequency of vibration determined by the particular “Cosmic Ray” they each channel. Their individual vibration contributes its tone to the Music of the Spheres . . . and all of them together are players in the Symphony of Life sounding throughout the Cosmos and resounding in our body temples.

As I promised in my previous post, I am publishing a section from my book Sacred Anatomy which offers inspiring words about the role of  minerals and trace minerals in our body-temples.  Here is the first installment. I think you will enjoy it and be inspired.

Having considered in some depth the transmutation of the elements of matter as Walter Russell has detailed the process by which the 121 elements and isotopes that constitute his revised Table of Elements are created, I turn my attention to the Source of the Power of Transmutation: the 12 Cosmic Rays as they enter and work their magic in our bodies

* * *

Divine Technology at Work

“. . . and out of the throne proceeded lightnings and  thunderings  and voices.” (Rev. 4:5)

The throne of God in these temples is a living reality on earth.  It reflects and manifests the throne of God which John of Revelation described as “a throne set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.” This all relates, as we have seen, to the Pineal Body and the focus in this endocrine gland of the Spirit of Love, the incarnate angel in each one, who sits on this throne.  Divine technology is at work here, just as it was at work in the Ark of the Covenant, which provided a throne for Deity in the midst of the Israelites as they wandered in the wilderness.

The Ark may well have been more than just an elaborate and ornate box for carrying the tablets of the Ten Commandments around.  It was more likely a very precisely designed instrument of a highly advanced technology.  As I described it above, it was lined with pure gold.  Gold is more than just a symbol of power in the world.  Gold is power.  There was real power associated with this ark.

Gold is symbolic of love, the only real power there is.  Among other things, this gives rise to the question: What do we really know about love?  It is powerful beyond human power.  Love has been described as the “cohesive power that holds the universe together.”  That same power made itself evident through the Ark with its precise design and the precious metal of gold with which it was overlaid inside and out.

So is it with our own body temples. There is a correlation between the divine technology at work within the human cranium and that which was at work within the Ark of the Covenant. There is an arc of love in the cranium which gives life to the body.  Great power comes to focus in the body with the Spirit of Love governing thought and action through the heart.  These are the spiritual, or vibrational, factors relating to the heaven within.  There are factors relating to the earth that need to be in place as well. I am referring to the elements of the mineral kingdom. These comprise the conduit and control mechanism through which the power of love can work in these human capacities.

Minerals and Cosmic Powers

In his Steps To Mastership, lesson thirteen, Lloyd A. Meeker (Uranda) gives instructions relative to what he refers to as the “Twelve Cosmic Rays,” among other sacred factors essential to the process of spiritualization, or transmutation, of physical matter, which are “sometimes spoken of as zodiacal influences which form the directing urges by which mankind functions on the physical plane.”  He then makes this revealing statement: “The points of contact within the body through which the twelve Cosmic Rays are enabled to transmit life to the body, are the twelve Organic Minerals found in the body substance.”

Uranda further instructs: “There is a Tree of Life on every plane of being.  The twelve fruits of the Tree of Life on the physical plane are the twelve body minerals.” He then goes on to say that all twelve minerals are needed for health in the body, which must be attained before one can be influenced by the Twelve Cosmic Rays. These twelve minerals and cosmic rays are represented by the “twenty and four elders” who stood around the throne and bowed down to the One who sat thereon casting their crowns down before Him. Cosmic energy is released in our bodies when these twelve minerals are present and their powers made available to the One I Am.

Inorganic minerals have a covalent power of their own which causes them to bond together as solid foundational rock. As they are taken up into the vegetable kingdom they are chelated, literally clawed apart, by organic acids in the plants and then re-arranged and proportioned so as to make them available to the animal kingdom. Inorganic compounds become organic through this process.  In this sense they give up their crowns, their independence and power, to become part of the living temple.  In the process of surrender, their powerful energies are released inside our bodies—the “thunderings and lightnings” that proceeded forth from out of the throne.

These organic minerals are: Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Phosphorus, Iron, Fluorine, Chlorine, Silica, Manganese, Sulphur, and Iodine. Their functions in the body temple are many and varied. All are essential to the function of the endocrine glands and the nervous system’s capacity to carry electrical current, as well as in the production of enzymes. All are instrumental in the ceremony of ascension in both the body temple and in the larger Cathedral of the Natural World.  (To be continued)

About my book . . .

Your Sacred Anatomy offers a powerful and personal theme for meditation. This book was written to evoke deep currents in the heart for the sacred in everyday life. The author takes you beyond mainstream and even alternative health care to consider the human body in its true purpose and function as a holy temple and an instrument for the magic of creation.

Have you ever wondered how spirit steps down into flesh and incarnates?  If indeed our bodies are temples of the living God, as sacred scripture teaches, how does the spirit of God dwell in them?  What is the mechanism through which spirit incarnates so completely as to govern every detail of our bodily functions?

Gain a deeper understanding of the sacred nature of your physical body.  Discover a new perspective of an aspect of your anatomy that receives little attention until hormonal chemistry is thrown into a state of imbalance.  Come to appreciate the vital role your seven endocrine glands play in bringing the gifts of spirit and learn how illness plagues human existence when these gifts are withheld and hormonal glands fail to function normally. You will see clearly the role you play in determining which way this plays out in your own life experience.

This book will profoundly change the way you view and treat your human capacities. You will find both inspiration and practical spirituality as you explore the chemistry and alchemy of the endocrine system which sets the stage for the dance of spirit with flesh.

Twelve Cosmic Rays

“  . . . and out of the throne proceeded lightnings and  thunderings  and voices.”   (Rev. 4:5)

2017 DecemberWE’VE BEEN CONSIDERING COSMIC POWER and the role the Mineral Kingdom plays in grounding cosmic power in the Earth.  We saw how organic minerals ground and channel cosmic energy in and through our body-temples.  Let us read on in Sacred Anatomy and meditate on the mystery of life that unfolds through our body-temples.  Here’s the final installment in this series, which starts with a recalling of the last paragraph of the previous  post and Uranda’s instructions with regard to the Twelve Cosmic Rays:

Cosmic energy is released in our bodies when these twelve minerals are present and their powers made available to the One I Am.

Calcium’s function is to build bones and teeth, help with blood coagulation, reduce neuromuscular irritability and facilitate contraction of muscles and nerve conduction in the heart muscles. Magnesium is used in tooth formation, nerve conduction, muscle contraction and enzyme activation. It balances Calcium one-to-two respectively.  Sodium plays a large role in acid-base balance, osmotic pressure, blood pH, muscle contractility and nerve transmission. Potassium’s role is with muscle activity, nerve transmission, intracellular acid-base balance and water retention, and energy management.  It assists in escorting glucose into muscle cells for energy. Phosphorus in closely associated with Calcium and its functions with bone and teeth formation.  It is used in establishing and maintaining acid-base balance, is a component of nucleic acids and is involved in energy production.  Iron assists in the formation of hemoglobin and myoglobin, contributes to the production of certain enzymes and iron-sulphur proteins.   Fluorine is used in bone and tooth formation.  Chlorine is used in acid-base balance, osmotic pressure, blood pH and kidney function.

Silica’s chief role is in the alchemical production of bone tissue through a process of “biological transmutation.”  I suspect it also plays a role in memory storage, similar to that of the silica microchip in the computer.   It is believed that bones provide an atomic memory engram depository that contains the record not only of contemporary legacies but of ancient ones as well.  Manganese is essential to joint mobility and ligament tone, strength and elasticity. It is also vital to the function of the Pituitary gland and plays a component part in the makeup of manganese-specific enzymes.  Sulphur is an antibiotic that also helps with joint motility.   Finally, Iodine is essential to the production of thyroxine in the thyroid gland (T4) and triodothyronine (T3), both essential to growth and development.  It also plays a role as an energy-control mechanism and in fetal differentiation.

Not mentioned by Uranda are the seventy-two or more trace minerals that play empowering roles in the balancing of body chemistry, especially with the hormones.  Just to name a few of them,  Selenium, found in wheat germ oil, plays a key role as part of the Vitamin E complex in the cardiovascular system. Technically, Selenium is a component of the enzymes glutathione peroxidase, which metabolizes hydroperoxides formed from polyunsaturated fatty acids, as well as enzymes that take the iodine out of thyroid hormones before they are recycled.  Chromium is a trace mineral that promotes the utilization of glucose by the muscle cells, thereby supporting the glucose tolerance factor in the bloodstream.  Molybdenum is a transitional metal that forms oxides and is a component of a coenzyme essential to the activity of xanthine oxidase, sulfite oxidase, and aldehyde oxidase, enzymes involved in preventing toxic levels of sulfite, xanthine and aldehyde (such as formaldehyde) in the blood stream.

Magnesium, which most Americans are deficient in, and the trace mineral Gold are essential to balanced and clear mental function.  The presence and function of Gold in the brain is not surprising in light of the presence of the focus of Love in the Pineal.  The trace mineral silver is a protective element that vibrationally alters pathogens, such as harmful bacteria and viruses, upon contact.

These elements of the mineral kingdom are not only present in a healthy body, their levels and ratios to one another are critical to maintaining healthy function, strength and vitality in the body.  Calcium is in critical ratio to Phosphorus, Magnesium and Potassium; Sodium is balanced by Potassium; Copper and Zinc need to be in balanced ratio, as well as Sodium and Magnesium, Copper and Iron.  The degree to which these minerals are present in their proper levels and ratios, the body is healthy.  To the degree they are not, the body is sick and dying.

While Copper intensifies cellular activity, activating estrogen in cell proliferation, Zinc, which activates progesterone and testosterone, cools it down.  The body contains two to three grams of Zinc, found mainly in bones, teeth, hair, skin, the liver, muscle, leukocytes and in the testes.  It plays a role in skin integrity, enzymes, wound healing and growth.  Inorganic Copper is a heavy metal whose unbound ions are toxic.   Almost all of the Copper in the body is present as an organic mineral component of copper proteins, thereby reducing the in-vivo concentration of unbound copper ions almost to zero.  On average, an adult has about 150 mg of Copper in the body, of which about 10 to 20 mg are in the liver.  (Most of the information about the function of these minerals was taken from The Merck Manual, Seventeenth Edition.)

So we see there is an amazing interrelationship of checks and balances in the way minerals and trace minerals are arranged and proportioned in the body by reason of the chelating activity in the vegetable kingdom, which is designed to provide nutritional nourishment for the animal kingdom, a kingdom which our present physical capacities are yet part of.

Up until recently these essential nutrients have been virtually ignored in commercial farming.  In America, our agricultural lands were declared demineralized and, therefore, unfit for farming as early as the 1940’s, resulting in Americans becoming the most over-fed and under-nourished nation in the world.  Whereas the human body needs some fifty nutrients for healthy function, our soils are given but a handful of commercial chemicals with which to work in order to produce vegetables and fruit that are pleasant to the eyes but empty of life-sustaining nutrients.

Adrenal exhaustion is presently surfacing as the primary malady of people in this country and the fundamental, underlying cause of nearly all bodily malfunctions.   In his important book,  Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Century Stress Syndrome,  naturopathic physician Dr. James L. Wilson decries the fact that  doctors have been dealing with . . .

“. . . a  problem of monstrous proportions that is largely unrecognized by the medical establishment.  This has left millions of people suffering from an untreated problem that interferes not only with their ability to function but also with their capacity to enjoy life.  It is difficult to assess exactly how much money is lost by corporations due to worker absenteeism, poor or clouded decision making, alcoholism, drug abuse, ‘nervous breakdowns,’ burnout, employee conflict, acute and chronic illness, loss of employees, and a host of other costly problems that stem from the effects of over-stressed adrenal glands.”

Little wonder that this is so, since ninety-five percent of Americans have been declared severely deficient in organic minerals and trace elements.  If they are not in the soil, of course, they are not to be found in our foods and therefore not in our bodies in sufficient levels or appropriate proportions. Where minerals and essential trace elements for the conduction of life’s energy are lacking in the human body, the stress of daily activities is almost unbearable.

These precious elements work their vibrational magic within the body according to their specific vibratory frequencies. They are the gifts of the mineral kingdom and can only be taken up into the body in colloidal form as they naturally appear suspended in vegetation.  All of these are elements that are readily available today, more than ever before its seems, as Mother Nature yields up her secrets to us in a copious stream of these and other “healing nutrients” in the form of whole food supplements and herbs.  I am forever amazed at the timely provision of life as it demonstrates its loving care for the body of Mankind on earth.  All that remains is for us each one and all to open up and receive these bountiful gifts with joy and thanksgiving while efforts are increasingly being directed by organic farmers the world around toward replenishing the soil and returning to organic gardening practices.

Organic farming has begun to appear throughout the land, with organically produced vegetables and fruits becoming plentifully available in supermarkets.  One way to tell if a vegetable was grown in mineral-rich soil is its sweetness.  Minerals make your carrots sweet.  If they’re not sweet, they were grown in mineral-depleted soil.  To safeguard your body’s health, I recommend a daily supplementation of organically grown minerals and trace minerals.  They are essential to the utilization of vitamins . . . and to our reception of cosmic rays.

Standard Process Laboratories in Palmyra, Wisconsin has been making wholefood supplements available to doctors and their patients for over a hundred years.  They maintain a large organic farm on site.  Its founder, Dr. Royal Lee, was a dentist who believed that a person’s teeth depend on a well-nourished physical body.  So he developed a line of wholefood supplements in order to provide his patients with vitamin-and-mineral-rich supplements. I’ve used them in my practice for many decades with rewarding success . . . and I supplement my daily diet with them.

I welcome any thoughts you may have and wish to share.  This being Christmas weekend, I wish you each one a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year in 2023.  Until my next post,

Be love.  Be loved.

Transmutation of the Elements of Matter, part 2: Under Pressure

The elements of matter are but varying aggregations of corpuscular light units gathered together in systems familiarly known as atoms.” —Walter Russell

* * *

THERE ARE NOT NUMEROUS ELEMENTS. According to Dr. Walter Russell, from Nature’s point of view, there is only one substance, Carbon, undergoing changes under changing pressure and transmuting through ten octaves of seven tones each, every element a precursor of the next. “A radium particle was once a light unit of hydrogen and will be so again. More than this, an atom of any element actually contains within itself all of the other elements.” More about this is my next post.

In the vibrational context of Creation, that One Substance is called Light. In a spiritual context, that substance is called Love. Out of the Light of Love all substance is created . . . and transmuted by Love..

All substance in the Creating Universe is under pressure to change, to transmute to a higher vibration . . . including the substance that comprises our physical bodies — and they do transmute at death, at least some of it, leaving the greater portion of mineral ash to fall back down into the earth from which it transmuted to a level just above the mineral kingdom to the animal kingdom.

These are the “kingdoms of this world” that are to become the “Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.” This restoration awaits the restoration and ascension of Man to his ordained place as keeper of the Garden of Eden on Earth. What needs to be restored, and transmuted, is the substance of human consciousness. Much more of the substance of our physical bodies, and of the entire planet Earth, can and needs to be transmuted than is now occurring. That transmutation will follow in the wake of the restoration of Man. My rationale in writing this blog is that human consciousness might be elevated to a level where understanding of the Whole Holy World is advanced by at least some degree. These are my thoughts as I enter the Golden Years of my life cycle.

In this series I will consider the process by which the elements of matter transmute under pressure to higher and higher levels in the ten octaves of elemental progression to higher tones. I will call on Dr. Walter Russell to guide us through this consideration. The excerpts I will be using are from his 1955 published work A NEW CONCEPT of the UNIVERSE and his 1926 signature work THE UNIVERSAL ONE. I will start at the beginning with Dr. Russell’s stated Life Principle.

* * *

THE LIFE PRINCIPLE

LIFE IS THE PULSING, ELECTRO-MAGNETIC OSCILLATION OF THINKING MIND

All life is immortal life. There is no mortal life. Life is a vitalizing property of all matter.

Life is in and of all matter.

Man’s concept of life is not logical.

Man conceives life to be a property apart from matter, quickening compound elements of inorganic matter into living, functioning, organic beings.

Man defines organic matter as that in which life begins to function, imbuing it with vitality and intelligence. Man defines inorganic matter as those elements or compounds of matter in which there is no life and in which there is no vitality nor intelligence.

Man conceives life as spontaneously generated in matter at favorable temperatures and under favorable conditions. Such concepts are not true concepts.

In searching for the life principle man is attempting to discover something corresponding to a germ which quickens lifeless matter. Life is not a germ and no matter is lifeless.

Life is in and of all things from the beginning, always and forever.

Life has no beginning. Life has no ending. Life is eternal.

Life is in and of all inorganic as well as all organic matter.

Life is in and of all of the elements and the atoms of the elements and the compounds of the elements.

Life is in and of the sun of the atom, the planets of the atom, and the heavens surrounding the universe of the atom.

Life is the effect produced on the substance of Mind by the sequence of alternating electromagnetic pulsations which constitute the process of thinking. The progress of this effect is registered in integrating light and manifests itself in that orderly periodic phenomenon inherent in all matter and all things which man calls “growth.”

All matter is evolving.

All “growing” things are imbued with the life principle.

All things are “growing” things.

All matter is growing.

All matter is living.

Life is merely the registration, in matter, of states of motion of thinking Mind.

The substance of Mind has the appearance of many states of motion which man calls the “elements of matter.”

The “elements of matter” do not vary in substance. They vary only in their states of motion.

All motion is periodic and evolutionary.

All motion is motion in equilibrium. No other motion is possible.

All motion has the appearance of being divided into opposites. .

These opposites of motion shall henceforth be termed “motion-in-inertia” and ” motion-in-opposition. “

All that appearance which man calls matter is “motion-in-opposition.”

Motion-in-opposition is under either preponderantly electric or magnetic domination. It is a state of motion where pressures are un-equalized and sustained in their state of un-equalization by the resistance of the two opposing forces in motion. The point of maximum motion-in-opposition is the nuclear center of a unit or system where opposing pressures reach their point of maximum pressure.

Form of matter disappears into motion-in-inertia.

Motion-in-inertia is equally electric and magnetic. Neither force dominates. It is a state of motion where pressures are equalized. Man’s concept of life is energized, organic substance. Man’s concept of death is de-energized, organic substance.

There is no death. Life is eternal.

The One substance of the universe cannot become de-energized. Man’s concept of life belongs to motion-in-opposition.

Man’s concept of death belongs to motion-in-inertia.

Life belongs, in principle, to motion.

This is a universe of motion.

The cause of all motion is the dynamic action of thinking of the One universal living Being, which man calls God, or Mind, or by other names, all of which stand practically for the one idea of fatherhood, or deity.

Thinking is a process, an orderly, evolutionary, periodic process of absolute limitations.

All motion of thinking Mind is born in the maximum high speed of the universal constant of energy. It runs the gamut of periodic and opposing deceleration and acceleration in six full tones, one double tone, and a master-tone, to each of nine lowering octaves, and a variable number of mid-tones in each of the last four octaves.

The seven tones are those so-called “elements of matter” which are improperly classified in the eight groups of the commonly accepted Mendeleef periodic table. All effects of motion which cause the appearance of these elements is that which is herein termed “motion-in-opposition.”

The master-tone of each octave is the record of all motion taking place within the octave.

The master-tones are the turning points between reaction and action, just as the double tones are the turning points between action and reaction.

They are the beginnings of each new expression of energy in motion and are records of the old.

They are the ends of exhalations and the beginnings of inhalations.

The master-tone of each octave is the inheritance of the original motion of the thinking process of Mind. These master-tones are the “inert gases” which are classified in the zero group of the Mendeleef table.

The state of motion of these inert gases is that of motion-in-inertia.

Motion-in-inertia is that state of pressure equilibrium which lies between any two masses.

The inertial line, or plane, is that dividing line, or plane, toward which all masses discharge their potential.

It is the line, or plane, of lowest potential of two opposing areas of potential, where opposing pressures neutralize. This is the plane of minimum pressure of two opposing areas.

The master-tones which represent a state of motion-in-inertia and are the inert gases, bear the same relationship to the elements that white bears to the colors. They are a registration of them all. White is not included in the spectrum, it has no place there. The inert gases should not be included in the elements. They have no place there. Of this more shall be written later in its proper place.

The ten octaves constitute a cycle of evolving states of motion. This cycle includes the uttermost limitations of divine possibilities, and beyond it nothing is or can be.

The cycle begins with the highest note and descends the scale sequentially through man’s unseen universe until hydrogen, the first element perceivable to man, is reached.

There is no unseen universe.

Those tones which follow hydrogen are man’s visible or “physical” universe of matter and continue into the tenth octave. Here elemental integration and disintegration have ended the cycle by the attainment of the equilibrium of its beginning.

All motion is oscillatory, swinging in sequence between two apparently opposing forces, gravitation and repulsion, which are respectively electric and magnetic.

This oscillatory motion is a pulsating in-breathing and out-breathing, an inhalation and an exhalation, which is a characteristic of all matter, whether it be in units, or systems of units, or mass.

These two apparently opposite forces are the father … mother forces of Mind, which, added together, make but the One force.

There is but one pendulum to the cosmic clock.

All the so-called “created” universe of matter is but the effect of these two apparently opposing male, female forces exerting their opposition.

All motion-in-opposition is both gravitative and repulsive. This is characteristic of all matter.

Motion, at the inertial line or plane where mass disappears, is neither gravitative nor repelative. Hence the master-tones, which register effects of motion on this line or plane, should not be included in the table of the elements.

All matter is characterized by periodic and alternating opposites of motion in sequence, each opposite being preponderant in sequence.

Each opposite force is the cause of the other.

Opposition is a characteristic appearance of all effects of motion and has no existence other than as an appearance. In inertia, this appearance always disappears.

Motion and matter must not be confounded. Matter, as man understands matter, is only an appearance due to states of motion.

The creation of form in matter is the apparent integration of those things which are and always have been.

The de-creation of form in matter is the apparent disintegration of apparently integrated things.

Creation is transmutation, or integration, of the one simple indivisible substance, into the appearance of many complex substances and things.

Creation may be likened unto the assembling of a few letters of type for the printing of a very complex idea.

De-creation may be likened unto the redistribution of type, after it has served its purpose of giving expression to idea on the printed page.

Matter is light crystallized into the complex idea of this universe, exactly as literature is type assembled into the complex ideas of a library.

Matter is the registration medium of light, just as letters are the registration medium of literature.

Matter is light gravitationally assembled into the appearance of form, and radially disassembled into the disappearance of form.

The assembling process is what man calls life.

The disassembling process is what man calls death.           –

Light exists as light always and forever.

All matter is but a variation of the state of light due to variation of dimension of the evidence of motion in the wave by which all motion is expressed.

To man, matter means the complexity of many substances and many things.

Complexity and variability belong to motion and not to substance. There is but One unchanging substance.

The appearance of change does not belong to substance but to motion.

Man lives in a universe of motion, a universe of appearances and illusions which deceive him, except for those simple, obvious illusions with which he becomes perfectly familiar.

Man will stoutly aver that matter changes and that there are many substances, but he would not dream of contending that the moon runs along the road behind the trees as he runs.

Yet one contention would be as reasonable as the other.

Matter and Mind and light and energy are eternal. They are constant. They are cause.

Form and motion are illusions. They are fleeting. They are effects.

Spirit of the New Earth Vibration

Our Home among the stars

♦ ◊ ♦

“The physical body is Real and beautiful beyond words to describe.  It is wonderful beyond all the imaginings of mankind. In it are revealed the secret things of God. Through it work the Cosmic Forces of the Universe.”—Uranda

♦ ◊ ♦

IN CELEBRATION of the New Earth dawning, I open a door in heaven to shine light into the earthly aspect of Creation and to enjoy a perspective of the body temple from the angel’s point of view.  Earth is our Home among the stars, where angels incarnate in living, breathing earthen forms to manifest a heavenly abode for our Creator on the material plane, and where all the levels of being in this seven-dimensional world congeal into an experiential spectrum of creativity — where seeds are planted, germinate and sprout, and where trees grow and flowers blossom; where creatures both great and small fill the earth, and where birds fly in the air and fishes of the sea plunge the deep.  I turn in this meditation to the beautiful and exquisite human body to meditate upon the awesome experience of the miracle of life we share with all of creation. The physical, material world is, after all, where all the levels of being can be enjoyed to the fullest.  It is the ultimate experience of life, of God being human on planet Earth.

SACRED ANATOMY

That said, it is with much thought and hesitation that I proceed in sharing the following consideration from SACRED ANATOMY in a public forum such as this — particularly in a coarse world that yet struggles with such troubling issues as abortion, rape and birth control, child and human trafficking, and that objectifies and exploit the human body for monetary gain — as the subject matter is highly esoteric and sacred, intended for the initiated in the school of the Sacred Art of Living.

While pondering what my next blog series might be, and considering the theme of recent posts centered around the emergence of the New Earth out of the New Heaven, and the transmutation of the sacred earth — and more currently the wider opening of a door in Heaven for those who would enter the Temple of Light — the chapter in my book featuring the Spirit of the New Earth and the endocrine glands of the gonads presented itself as timely.

Just as a preface to this series, the consideration of our sacred anatomy, presented here in the form of a meditation on transcendent essences, is not a scholarly study of human anatomy and physiology — although those aspects are given due consideration for accuracy. It is rather a presentation of firsthand esoteric knowledge, as previously noted, and inspired visionary insight and revelation.

The book itself came to me to be written and published, a creative process that spanned a period of nine years.  The point of view of this sacred terrain, then, is that of the angel incarnate whose temple this body is, a temple for the presence and worship of the Living God on the physical plane of Being.  I ask you to read these words and ponder this meditation in your heart more than in your mind, with spiritual intelligence rather than mental. Spiritual essences are spiritually discerned and understood in the heart.

SEVEN SPIRITS AS “LAMPS OF FIRE”

The larger context of this chapter is a section of the book dedicated to the consideration of the seven endocrine glands and their spiritual significance and functions as centers for the Seven Spirits before the throne of God — as described by St. John in his Book of Revelation as “seven lamps of fire burning before the throne.” (Rev. 4:5)

These “Seven Spirits” were given names and characteristics by spiritual teacher and energy-healing pioneer Lloyd Arthur Meeker (Uranda, 1907-1954) — such as the Spirit of Love for the Pineal gland, the Spirit of the Womb or Truth for the Pituitary gland, the Spirit of Life for the Thyroid gland, the Spirit of Purification for the Thymus gland, the Spirit of Blessing for the Islet of Langerhans in the Pancreas, the Spirit of the Single Eye for the Adrenal glands, and the Spirit of the New Earth for the Gonads.  Uranda also framed these Spirits and endocrine glands in the context of a stairway of “Seven Steps to the Temple of Light.”  This same seven-level stairway may be seen in the light of the biblical “Jacob’s ladder” for the descent as well as ascent of angels between heaven and earth.

While I fully embrace Uranda’s terminology and spiritual teachings in this writing, from a vibrational standpoint these “Spirits” can be understood as the differentiations of the One Holy vibrational frequency of the Light of Love.  Just as a prism differentiate the sun’s white light into the rainbow spectrum of seven colors, so do the endocrine glands act as prisms and transformers of Love’s sacred Light.  As we shall see, the color frequency of the Spirit of the New Earth is red, an earth tone.  Red is the longest frequency wave in the rainbow spectrum.  The attitudinal qualities of this first vibrational level are that of patience and right expectance.

We’re speaking here of energy and various densities and textures of spiritual or vibrational substance, each focused energetic vortex playing a specific role in the body appropriate to its frequency.  It is with this in mind that I ventured forth twenty-five years ago to facilitate the writing and publication of SACRED ANATOMY*, an inspired creation.

These spirits, then, are focused sacred energic vibrations that are perceptible and known at a physical level in our human capacities, what are sometimes described as “body-mind-spirit continuums.” I envision a musical instrument with strings, perhaps a harp, for us angels to play heavenly music during our earthly sojourn. Each string or combination of strings could represent an organ or gland in the body, and seven of these strings could represent the seven endocrine glands and their corresponding “Spirits.”

The point I wish to make here is though we speak and write using finite words to describe infinite realities and essences, the Spirit of God is practical and manifests forms by means of a spiritual or vibrational medium. Uranda called this medium “pneumaplasm” (spirit substance).  Think in terms of frequency and the differentiation of the Tone that first gives rise to a “mist” in the Garden of Consciousness wherein the seeds of creation are sown conveying the design and control factors of living forms into the vast field of undifferentiated cosmic dust and sets in motion the entire Universe.  This same Tone plays the “Music of the Spheres” through our Body Temples, and beyond them in the Cathedral of the Natural World — the “Whole Holy World,” as Uranda honored it, consisting of both Heaven and Earth.  These energy centers are also described as “seals” in their function as hormonal glands that release potent chemistry for generative and functional processes in the body’s physiology, as well as for the transmutation process by which atoms composing flesh and bone may ascend to become the essences of spiritualized angelic flesh.  So, with all these things in mind, I present . . .

THE GONADS
Spirit of the New Earth

OUR EXPLORATIONAL MEDITATION brings us now to a consideration of the first vibratory seal in this sacred temple, the Gonads (from the Greek gone, meaning seed).  These delicate yet powerful pairs of glands are located in the pelvic region of the human anatomy. The female aspects, the ovaries, are within the pelvic girdle in front of the sacrum, the triangular bone connecting the two pelvis blades and forming the dorsal portion of the pelvis.  The male aspects, the testes, are suspended outside the pelvic region and contained in the sac of the scrotum.  As their name implies, these glands produce the “seeds” that spawn human life.  The ancients believed that life originated from this region of the physical anatomy, thus the origin of the word sacrum, which means sacred bone.  They were not too far off the mark, as we shall see, for what does originate here in this region of our anatomy is truly of a sacred nature.  But first let us look at the hormonal chemistry and physiology of these pro-generative glands.

The hormones produced by the Gonads play pivotal roles throughout the body temple.  Right at the start, their secretions determine the sexual characteristics of the embryo and then continue to influence the growth, maturation and development of the male and female forms.

For example, the first role testosterone plays, as mentioned earlier in our consideration of hormones as “crystal messengers of light,” is to split the brain into two lobes in both the female and the male embryo.  The quantity of testosterone produced in the developing fetus will determine how much brain tissue remains connected between the two hemispheres. The female brain has more corpus callosum tissue connecting the two hemispheres than the male brain has, giving women greater integration between right brain and left brain in their thinking processes.  It is thought that this greater complexity tends to bring in more of the artistic and aesthetic “feelings” surrounding issues being considered, as compared to the male thinking processes which tend to be more logical, cold and calculating.

As we considered earlier also, estrogen and progesterone, the two primary ovarian hormones, give the female form its graceful curves and softness, as well as its emotional climate and the expression of feminine nurturing energies.  These two hormones work synergistically to provide for a controlled growth of new tissue wherever it is needed, as in the development of the endometrial lining of the uterus in preparation for the fertilized ovum, and in the process of bone replacement where both play an essential role together in breaking out old, brittle bone (progesterone’s role) and replacing it with new bone tissue (estrogen’s role).  The dominant presence of estrogen without the controlling factors progesterone offers into the process of new growth will result in an unbridled proliferation of neoplasm in the developing fetus, as well as elsewhere in the body temple where such proliferation may develop into cancerous growth.

When the young adolescent reaches puberty, the hypothalamus initiates hormonal changes in both the female and the male by secreting a chemical called gonadotropin-releasing hormone, or GnRH. Elevations in GnRH sends a signal to the pituitary gland of the young girl to release two hormones called follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), which initiates adult ovarian function. The girl becomes a childbearing woman.

Testosterone, the male partner to estrogen, gives the male form its strong, muscular characteristics and provides for the expression of the masculine achieving energy.  These hormones are produced in the body under the initiative and direction of the Pituitary Gland, where the Spirit of the Womb abides and oversees the Creative Process.  Both male and female hormones are to be found in men and women alike, with one more dominant than the other in each sex respectively, providing for the expression of the masculine and the feminine currents of energy through Man.  These highly charged energies work together as partners in co-creation with the Spirit of the New Earth.

Sacred Vessels

Closely associated with the Gonads are the organs of reproduction themselves: the uterus which provides a womb for the conception, gestation and development of the human embryo; the fallopian tubes that convey an ovum into the uterus each and every month; and the erectile structure of the glans clitoridis (clitoris) which activates the contractions during sexual orgasm, as well as the ascension of the “kundalini,” the yogi life force that lies coiled at the base of the sacrum and rises up to the pineal gland atop the spinal cord at the base of the brain and opens this sacred seal to enlightenment.

In the male the glans penis (penis), situated below and around the rim or head of the penis, serves this same dual purpose, triggering climatic waves that convey sperm from the testicles through the seminal vesicle—a highly convoluted duct called the “vas deferens”—and into the ejaculatory duct of the penis, passing through the prostate gland which secretes, as well as propels, an alkaline fluid containing the sperm through the penis and into the vagina during intercourse, where some of the sperm find their way through the cervix, the birthing portal of the womb, and into the uterus with intent to fertilize the ovum.   These organ/glands define at the physical level of procreation the giving and receiving aspects of the masculine and the feminine energies.

The vessels of our sexual organs are especially sacred in that they connect the seven endocrine glands of the female temple with those of the male during sexual intercourse.  They may be seen, perhaps, as the right and left hand of the Creator, joined together in holy union—the positively-charged masculine with the negatively-charged feminine energies—for the purpose of releasing a unified current of love into the world.  Ultimately, as we shall explore, they are instrumental in generating the alchemy by which physical flesh is transmuted into the spiritualized substance of pneumaplasm, the silvery medium by which ecstatic union with the Divine is known in the ultimate sacramental ritual of sacred sex.   All of these glands and organs are the domain of the Spirit of the New Earth.

Reading this anew, my heart is filled with the lyrics of a hymn written by Allen Dorfman, a fellow angel of sacred sound . . .

A DOOR IS OPENED

A door is opened in heaven, the beauty of life shines bright as the sun, and the glory of God is revealed in man.

A door is opened in heaven, for hearts and minds are turned toward the truth, as the honor of God is revealed in man.

Our voice resounds as a trumpet call, “Lift your eyes, rise up and see a holy place where all may blend in sacred harmony.”

A door is opened in heaven, let nations rejoice and sing out in praise, for the power of God is revealed in man.¹

. . . and words of the Prophet Isaiah: “But be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem [the new state of consciousness] a rejoicing, and her people a joy.”  (Isaiah 65:18)

In my next post, I will continue to share excepts from this chapter on the Gonads and the Spirit of the New Earth. The topic will be the musical shaping of sacred space, the Kundalini fire of transmutation, and the ascent of the atomic molecules.  Until then,

Be love.  Be loved.

Laying the Foundations of the Earth: A Sonic Event

The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, and God spoke the Word: “Let there be light.” And with that Tone, the heavenly hosts of angels joined the Creator in singing the Universe into being.

“Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare if thou hast understanding. Who hast laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the cornerstone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? . . . Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?”   (Job 38:3-7,33)

THE MUSIC OF THE SPHERES

By the tone of the words above — my favorite passages from the Book of Job — we are expected, even demanded, to know the answer to the questions “Where wast thou?” and “Knowest thou?”  Apparently, Man was there, along with heavenly hosts, and participated with the angels in laying the foundations of the Earth.  Do you have a haunting memory of being there?  I do, and a few others I am aware of who have awakened to their angelic presence in heaven . . . and begun listening to and interpreting “frequencies from another dimension,” as David Bohm describes the function of our holographic brains in a holographic universe.

We are being drawn by Love back to a remembrance of our spiritual and vibrational foundation where alone we know we have been with God since the beginning and know well the ordinances of heaven and how to set their dominion in the earth; first the earth of our physical bodies, and then the planet upon which we have incarnated.  We are beginning to remember, as the Spirit of Truth is recalling all things to remembrance.  We are beginning to know and know that we know.

There’s a prevailing sense of being in and knowing a grander and vaster world than planet Earth and having been a participant in it since the foundations of the Earth were laid in the Heaven and the dominion of the ordinances set in the earth — when we were given charge over Creation, “dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”  That dominion was to be exercised from our intended place in the heaven, where original Man was created in the image and after the likeness of the Creator.  We have temporarily lost that dominion and have become subject and prey to the wild kingdoms of the natural world.  It’s time to remember who we are and from whence we have fallen; time to return to a remembrance of our foundation in the heaven.

VIBRATIONAL FOUNDATION

When we think of foundations we commonly think of the underpinnings of buildings. This is so in the material world of analogous form.  In Bohm’s immaterial “implicate order,” the foundations of forms in the material “explicate order” are in the heaven above the earth — “a realm of meaningful, patterned primary reality that transcends space and time.”  As we set about creating the New Earth together, it may be helpful to revisit the Creation story in the Book of Genesis and consider the protocols in the unfolding Creative Process — for there’s only one Creative Process and only one way creation unfolds.  It moves in cycles from Radiation to Response to Attraction which leads to Union and completes itself in Unified Radiation.  This is my current meditation, which I am delighted to share in this post.

If you recall, in the Book of Genesis it is said that in the beginning “God created the heaven and the earth.” The heaven was created first, and in the heaven God created and established the ordinances for the foundations of the earth, the vibrational patterns for the earth.  In the quantum world of pure energy, this is creation in its invisible wave form before energy and light waves collapse and become particles.

CYMATICS: SHAPING MATTER WITH SOUND VIBRATIONS

A graphic portrayal of the vibrational nature of the Creative Process can perhaps best be understood in the context of the science of Cymatics where invisible sound waves create images and visible shapes in sand, or lycopodium and other responsive mater, such as the surface of water.  (In the implicate order, sound is of course inaudible.) Enjoy this 9.25-minute video for an educational and entertaining demonstration.

Here are cymatic images of the human voice

Here are the Cymatic images of 12 piano notes. Each note, when intoned, shapes hallowed space according to its own unique tone and resultant overtones and undertones.  Creation thus blossoms in its myriad and diverse shapes and colors.

John Stuart Reid on the vibrational foundation of life (2.30 video)

IN THE BEGINNING GOD

This hexagon storm pattern on Saturn’s North pole is likely created by sound.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.  And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (Gen 1:1-5)

I will consider a few of the implications in this passage.  The first implication is that the God of Creation, designated as “he,” employed the energy of the Divine Masculine, a magnetic force field, in drawing together the various vibrational essences and lines of force in setting the Creative Process in motion, the initiating power being positive action or radiation.  Having both “male and female” creating energies available, here God is in his masculine role as Creator — Brahma of Hinduism.  God, who is Love, is always in the beginning of the Creative Process.

A second implication is that there were “waters” already in existence upon which the Spirit of God moved. These waters may be known as the waters of consciousness; in this instance the Consciousness of the Creator.  Also, water is the symbol of truth, the provision of design and control in the developing process.  Water is also the first of the Four Forces of creation and comes at the beginning of a Creative Process.  Air is the second Force, which in this event is the Spirit of God in motion, like the wind, moving upon the face of the waters.

A third implication is that sound was used by the Creator to speak light into existence: “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters; and God said, Let there be light.” When the Spirit of God, Love, moves upon the face of the waters of our consciousness, light is created and shines into the darkness.

A fourth aspect of this creative action worth noting is in the creative command “Let,” a word used to manifest form in every phase in the cycles of creation.  “Let there be light . . . Let there be a firmament . . . Let the dry land appear.” Letting the Creative Process unfold naturally is always the path forward in life.

A fifth and peculiar implication is the order in which morning follows evening in a creative day: “And the evening and the morning were the first day.”  This implies that the day begins at high noon and not a midnight.  In our  earthly perspective, evening follows morning and the day begins at midnight.  Of course one of God’s creative days is much longer than twenty-four hours; more like tens-of-thousands of earth years.

In a wholistic and holographic model and context, this is very important for us to be aware of, for in the evening we set the tone and the heaven for the new day; we plant the vibrational seeds of intention that gestate in our consciousness as we sleep and blossom as sunrise starts a new day. This is particularly significant for those who live on the West Coast of the Americas and other continents; but it applies to all of us as sunset approaches each evening.  All this emphasizes the connections we have in this living entity we call Home among the stars with one another in the one body of humanity, the Body of God on Earth, and with the Earth itself.  We are One Entity.

THE MORNING STARS WITH THE SONS OF GOD

The last line of the passage from the Book of Job at the top speaks of a most significant event:  “When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy.” What a beautiful and harmonious image these words portray.  “Morning Star” is one of the names given to the angel Lucifer — also called “Son of the Morning” and “Bearer of the Light.” Apparently, there are a host of morning stars, of light bearers. They came with the creation of Light.  They are described here as singing together — and the sons of God as shouting for joy.  We know something of this today as angels awaken their human consciousness to what is already present and provided for by our Creator.  I may not be shouting for joy outwardly.  But in my heart I am shouting for joy in the awakening occurring all over the earth — also in knowing that we are encompassed by the angelic hosts of Heaven who are watching over us with love and protective care.

All this to say that sound, music, singing and joyful shouting were all involved in the Creation of the World.  This implies the sounding of a Tone, Gabriel’s trumpet perhaps.  As we saw in the Cymatics demonstration, sound has a way of bringing order and design out of chaos and confusion.  The Tone of Love is a clarifying sound and a purifying fire that cleanses the heart to make room for knowing the ordinances of heaven and our angelic presence in the world.  These words by my spiritual mentor, the late Lord Martin Exeter are germane to the process of purification:

“What is it that makes possible the cleansing of the heart? It isn’t anything that the mental apparatus of human beings can do. There is a means by which the heart may be purified. Fundamentally that means comes by reason of the sounding of the tone. This requires that the tone be sounded within the range of the substance of human minds and hearts. This process was described as the angels being sent forth with a great sound of a trumpet. If the impurities of heart can just be shuffled to one side sufficiently for the moment, there is the experience of that tone and love for the tone, the sound of the trumpet, and love for the source from which that tone proceeds. When that is greater than anything else, the human heart may be purified, purified by whatever this tone is.

As my heart is purified by my love for the tone and delight in sounding the tone of love in my living, rare and refined substance of spirit, described as pneumaplasm, begins to fill the imaginal realm of the heart and ascend upward into the heaven, the invisible realm of primary reality. Pneumaplasm is very sensitive and impressionable by high frequency vibrations. Images begin to make their impressions in the pneumaplasm. We begin to see and to know the vibrational ordinances of heaven and learn how to set their dominion in the earth.

Purification of the heart, the imaginal realm where the things of Spirit can emerge from out of heaven and be perceived and known in consciousness, is the first step.  “Rejoice ye heavens and ye that dwell in them.”

We could do with a lot of rejoicing right now in this vale of mounting tears we call our Home among the vast Universe of stars and galaxies.  Especially as we set about letting the New Earth appear from out of the New Heaven.  I’ll leave you to explore and interpret the implications of these biblical passages . . . as well as my thoughts herein expressed and shared with all.  I would love to share your thoughts by email, or in the comment section.  Until my next post,

Be love.  Be loved.

Oneness With The Ocean of Motion

ONENESS WITH THE OCEAN OF MOTION — (From the Foreword of my book ATTUNEMENT WITH SACRED SOUND)

By PenDell Pittman, MM, MA — Attunement Practitioner, Author and Musician

“We live in an ocean of motion.” This famous little phrase describes the quiet, yet all-encompassing platform of our lives. The rhythm of our breathing, the hum of our nervous system, the wide range of verbal utterances that we voice or hear are but a few reminders, close at hand, of the infinite spectrum of vibration within us and surrounding us.

Vibration with a purpose is “energy”, and specific ranges of energy are identified by us human beings, based on our own sensing of them. Our eyes see the energy range of “visible light”, our ears hear “audible sound”, our skin senses heat and impacts of motion on our physical bodies. Tastes and smells are also particularized ranges of energy. Scientific instruments and other devices engage energy ranges beyond the discernment of our five senses – radio and TV frequencies, microwaves, infrared and ultraviolet light, x-rays, gamma rays, cosmic rays, etc.

Further, the thoughts we think, the emotions we feel, and the whole of “consciousness”, human and otherwise, are waves of energy. The world of so-called “form” around us is but another spectrum of energy, one that moves slowly enough to appear to us to be “solid” and inanimate. Social systems, economies, governments, and countless other forms of human interaction represent the movement of energy among people. Beyond earth, the moon, the planets, the sun, its sun, whole galaxies appear to follow ancient rhythms and resonances.

The book you now hold in your hands, Attunement with Sacred Sound, by fellow musician and Attunement practitioner, Dr. Anthony Palombo, provides a pivotal revelation about the phenomenal connection you and I have to the powerfully grand energies of all creation. The seeming platitude that states, “We are all one,” or “We are one with everything,” is quite true, in fact! Keep reading and you will discover more about just how profoundly this is the case.

Dr. Anthony Palombo – “Tony” – and I have known each other for almost 40 years. Never has there been a time, in my observation, when Tony has not exhibited a conscious attitude that consistently recognizes the connection between “heaven and earth” (the intangible and the tangible, if you will), a core kinship between all people, and the resonance that entrains throughout all of “creation”, with its infinite components. Tony’s is a noble stance and vision, to be sure, but why is it relevant to us now? Because, if we are to receive the full spectrum of learning, guidance, and inspiration from studying this book – a work that, I believe, largely distills (without coming close to fully biographing) Tony’s life’s work – we will find ourselves adopting that same outlook as Tony has – one filled with awe, wonder, discovery, and a sense of privilege to know and work in this precious, delicate, and, dare I say, sacred field.

What allows the “magic pill” of Attunement with Sacred Sound to uniquely provide healing, relief and upliftment (for many millennia now), where other remedies may not? (And it has been proven to do just that.) For that matter, why exactly does music have “charms to sooth a savage breast”? In answer, we can observe one profound insight (of many) about one of the immutable, universal laws, with just a little “plinking” on a basic piano keyboard.

Please observe the diagram above, that of a piano keyboard, with its black and white notes. We will focus on the white keys only, for now. Note that there is a repetitive pattern of “letter names” given to those white keys, each of which, when played, sounds a unique musical pitch, or frequency. The keys are named “A” through “G”, and then that pattern of names repeats “an octave higher” (or lower). Without us getting too technical (or bored, I hope), please briefly observe with me the “speed of vibration”, the “frequency”, of two of the piano’s notes — the two “A”’s, shown above:

“The Lower A” (the “A” key to the left) sounds at a frequency of 440 Hertz (Hz), a measurement for “cycles (or complete vibrations) per second”. (Incidentally and interestingly, this 440-Hz, modern-day “concert A” runs four cycles per second faster than the mystical 436-Hz “A” that served as a cornerstone of the work of Pythagoras over 2,500 years ago.)  The “A” that is an octave higher than “A-440” (i.e. the “A” key shown to the right, on the keyboard diagram above) vibrates at a frequency that is exactly twice the speed of the lower “A”, or 880 Hz. Why is this important – to people in general, and to Attunement practitioners and enthusiasts, in specific? It is because the undeviating octave demonstrates a crucial element that binds together the entire Universe, us and all of “creation”.

The Law of the Octave — named for the eight primary, “white” keys that sit between and include, for example, an “A” and the next higher “A”. This universal law recognizes that musical notes sounding an octave apart – with frequencies that are multiples of two (2), relative to each other — have a closely kindred harmonic nature, a unique tonal relatedness that epitomizes unification. This can be heard distinctly when notes in octave are sounded.

Please note that the octave is not, by any means, the only relationship between pitches. Wait until you read Tony’s expositions on the “Perfect Fifth”, harmonics, overtones, and the other sonic wonders of the sound world that come into robust play in health, healing, and Attunement. However, the uniquely “divine” design of the octave illustrates the cohesive nature of the entire, endless frequency spectrum.

Now, here’s where things get pretty cosmic! An “A” vibrates at 440 Hz; and the “A” an octave higher, vibrates at twice the speed (880Hz); the next, higher “A”, an octave above, vibrates at twice that speed (880 x 2, or 1,760 Hz); the next higher “A” at 3,520 Hz, then 7,040 Hz; and so on — continuing to infinity. Along the way, these associated frequencies surpass the audible range and move into the ranges of radio; TV; microwaves; infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light; x-rays, etc. Yet, at any octave, a multiple of (in this example) “A-440” remains in harmonic concord with every other octave of “A” that resonates throughout the heights of the infinite frequency spectrum.

This energy spectrum vibrates, not just throughout the aforementioned range of higher frequencies, but at an equally infinite range of lower frequencies, as well. Infinite literally means infinite, after all.  As we observe frequencies below “A-440”, we find kindred octaves resonating at exactly one-half 440 Hz (440 divided by 2, or 220 Hz); then the next lower “A” at 110 Hz, then at 55Hz; and so on — continuing to infinity. At 27.5 Hz, we near the lowest frequencies audible to humans and approach the range of Schumann Resonances, electromagnetic waves that exist between the earth’s surface and the earth’s ionosphere. When tonal frequencies (like a musical sound) “slow down” sufficiently, they become “rhythms”.

A rhythm that is near and dear to each of us is our own heartbeat – something we just can’t live without – beating at a “frequency” around 1Hz, or one beat per second. Our bodily processes (and that of many organisms on earth) adhere to daily circadian oscillations, coordinating our capacities to the earth’s day-night rhythms. The earth rotates around its axis at a frequency of once per day, revolves around the sun at a frequency of once per year, and responds to the monthly frequencies of the moon’s cycles. Our sun revolves around its sun, as far as we can tell, and the Milky Way itself marches majestically — and for us, QUITE slowly –through the heavens, true to its own frequency that encompasses millions of years. So, to the best of our present understanding, there are infinitely fast vibrations and infinitely slow ones.

Putting aside, for a moment, the Grand Scale of It All, WHY is all this directly significant to us, and how does it affect our everyday lives? We have a glimpse into the why and how, brought to us once more by that Law of the Octave.

The Law of the Octave reveals a constant, orderly, powerfully resonant framework that governs and integrates the entirety of this infinite, cosmic frequency spectrum – the entire Ocean of Motion that is our Universe. The immutable design governed by the Law of the Octave connects all energy. And our own connectedness with all energy – through the thousands of resonating processes in motion at any given moment, in our own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual-expression capacities, and in our world – is living evidence of the actual, tangible attunement that, in truth, we share with the Creator and with all of Creation.

Oneness.

The practice of Attunement, as so ably and comprehensively introduced by Tony in this book, helps enrich the sacred resonance of our capacities with the Creator, while helping remove dissonance from the creative fields that penetrate and surround us. Whereas “sound therapy” alone uses the relatively slow-moving (though miraculous) realm of sound itself as the source of upliftment, the overall Attunement process engages a much wider (potentially infinite), higher-frequency spectrum of harmonics, one that encompasses the range of audible sound, plus so much more, while differentiating itself through countless, simultaneous Life processes. Sound healing, and any other process that is in resonance with Spirit, is a harmonious aspect of that Spirit substance, and therefore provides, at least to some extent, a resonant field for the energy and blessings of that Spirit.

Sound acts as a carrier wave of sorts for the Attunement current — toning and amplifying the emanations of the endocrine glands, relaxing and entraining the nervous systems, clearing the mind, soothing emotions, and helping one to release various resonances with external stresses. The playing of sustained sound also can be used by an experienced practitioner as an instrument to amplify his or her perceptions. As the sonic and “Spirit” ranges of energy entrain together during an Attunement session, their synergy — true to the Law of the Octave — also activates harmonics in all frequency ranges, from the infinitely high to the infinitely deep.

We are literally moving in harmonic resonance, in attunement, with all of Creation. We not only live in the “universal ocean of motion”, but we play radiantly conscious roles in the flow of its Currents, as we allow our every action to entrain with the infinitely high and deep Tones of the Creator. We are an integral part of the Cosmic Symphony, for sure. Let’s join Tony now, for an in-depth expose of just how integral we really are!

I hope that you have thoroughly enjoyed PenDell’s music presentation, even if you are not musically inclined — although I can’t imagine there is anyone who does not hum a tune now and then and generally enjoy music.  Perhaps he has imparted to you a deeper appreciation of music, and of musicians.  I welcome any comments you wish to share, which I will forward to my renown guest author.  In my next post “Are We Ascending Yet ” I will return to the theme of ascension. Until then,

Be love.  Be loved.

Resonance with the Music of the Spheres

A Presentation at the Attunement Summit of June 19, 2021

Resonance is easier experienced than explained.  I think we all know from experience what it is, so perhaps we could explore some of the implications of resonance as they relate to attunement, and do some experiential exercises.

This Biblical passage speaks to the dynamic of resonance: “The spirit of this world comes and finds nothing in me” — because the Master had no strings attached to this world that would resonate with the coarse vibrations of man’s world at the time.

 Understanding Harmonic Resonance

Everything has a certain frequency at which it vibrates. This is known as an object’s resonant frequency. Some objects have two or more resonant frequencies, just as we have not one, but several endocrine and chakras centers that resonate differently.

When sound or light waves, which have their own resonant frequency, hit an object, it will lead to harmonic resonance if that frequency corresponds to the resonant frequency of the object.

When that happens, they are tuned to one another; therefore, both of them will sync together. They entrain.

Sometimes, in order for harmonic resonance to occur, the amplitude of the vibration of an object must increase due to the corresponding vibrations of the other object.

(This has implications and application in the dynamics at work during attunement.)

Imagine that you’re a clock and the universe is also a clock. If you are in tune and your frequencies match, you will start ticking together through harmonic resonance.

The Chakra’s Emitting Tones

Each chakra has its frequency of vibration, sound, color, and symbol to which it is tuned. When it is balanced, cleansed, and energized, then the chakra is in harmony and plays its most beautiful melody, emitting inherent vibrations.

Many aspects of life can affect these chakra frequencies and ruin the harmony, such as chaotic sounds, stress, and unhealthy thoughts and emotions.

On the other hand, things like certain people’s voices, beautiful music, positive mantras, and the vibrational energy of colors and precious stones can help to bring our chakra frequencies back into harmonic resonance.

Entrainment occurs when one rhythmic vibrating object resonates and synchronizes with another object — demonstrated by one explorer who put several Big Ben clocks with swinging pendulums in a room together. In the morning he discovered they were all ticking and swinging together in sync.

In a TED talk Judie Diamond sent to me recently, Dr. Lee Bartel, who works with honey bees, tells the story about a cricket who chirps in sync with a squeaky fan belt on a piece of machinery in his shop.  He goes on to explain how he uses sound to entrain brain waves and body cells to 40 Hz, which he discovered affected  symptomatic improvement in patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia, even fibromyalgia.  He explains how 40 Hz creates Gamma waves in the brain by way of entrainment. This is equivalent to the low E on a piano.

Gamma rays are right on the edge of the electromagnetic spectrum between x-ray radiation and light.  They are given off by stars, and by radioactive substances. They are extremely high frequency waves, and carry a large amount of energy. They pass through most materials, and are quite difficult to stop – you need lead or concrete in order to block them out.  They are used to kill cancer cells, which, unlike healthy cells, cannot repair themselves once damaged by gamma rays.  There is an implication here relating to the impact stars and heavenly bodies radiate vibrations that resonate within our own body-mind-spirit continuum. There is a very high frequency available to us that, when attuned to, can raise the vibrational frequency of cellular oscillations. It is the spirit of the Creators’ world.

Resonance occurs in music. For example, the musical pitch F, when sounded, sets in motion the overtones and undertones A and C, along with an infinite number of other overtones and undertones.

Resonance also occurs in the vibrational terrain of the heart and the mind.  For example, when someone speaks, the words convey meaning and intention, both of which are vibrational in nature.  When such words are heard by a listener, “heart strings” and “mindsets” are struck and resonate with the words of the speaker, along with the subliminal intention they convey.

Resonance is happening when we laugh, and tear up.  We have a “funny or silly bone” that resonates with the tone of a joke or comedian’s act — as well as a tender place that is touched by a beautiful scene, or an act of compassion and extraordinary kindness and generosity by someone.

Just think of the scene of Tim Conway and Harvey Korman on the Carol Burnett Show in the dental office, in which Tim accidentally stabs himself with the Novocain syringe paralyzing his arm and leg. How many are smiling or laughing? That’s resonance.

Sound-based language has an immediate resonant effect and impact upon the vibrational terrain of human activity without mental interpretation. Music is a prime example of sound-based language; it’s a universal language. The Aramaic, when spoken, is another good example of sound-based language. It’s the language that Jesus spoke with the peasants.

The Aramaic Prayer of Jesus has emerged from out of the past and been revived and set to music and danced to.  I’ve learned to articulate it and it was quite easy to wrap my tongue around it.  I frequently say the Aramaic prayer during an attunement session.  Here is a rendition of the prayer by the San Antonio Vocal Arts Ensemble. (Be sure to listen to the music after the prayer.)

English translation of the Aramaic Lord’s Prayer

Oh Birther! Father-Mother of the Cosmos,

Focus your light within us. Create your reign of unity now.

Your one desire then acts with ours, As in all light, so in all forms.

Grant what we need each day in bread and insight.

Loose the cords of mistakes binding us,

As we release the strands we hold of others’ guilt.

Don’t let surface things delude us,

But free us from what holds us back.

From You is born all ruling will, the power and the life to do,

The song that beautifies all, from age to age it renews.

Truly – power to these statements – may they be the ground

From which all our actions grow. Amen.

RESONANCE IN OUR ATTUNEMENT WORK

PREMESIS: The Seven Spirits named by Uranda are, in essence, vibrational frequencies—music, in other words—inaudible music composed and orchestrated by the invisible light, the Light of Love, the true Music of the Spheres.  This is the nature of the Chakra as well. They are energy vortices that emit tones, which I’ve discovered harmonize with the tones of the endocrine centers.

The seven vibrational, or spiritual, essences manifesting and orchestrating the biochemical functions of the seven endocrine glands, nourishing the glands themselves, are sensitive to audible sound and visible light and color, and respond to such by the principle of resonance.

It is my conviction that the “Spirit” of each endocrine center is invoked and summoned forth by sound vibrations based on the principle of resonance. That invocation is partly in response to the musical tones of the Chakras.

I firmly believe that this is why and how we enjoy beautiful music, which is sometimes capable of lifting us into a state of rapturous ecstasy.  For me it is God listening and enjoying the music through me.  Or, rather, I am God enjoying beautiful music. The endocrine glands produce their hormonal chemistry that shapes how we feel physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as we listen to music that resonates in our soul, heard with our ears, as well as with our Chakras.

APPLICATION OF SACRED SOUND:

As many of you know, I work with sacred sound in my attunement service.  I have found that sound may be used to create a carrier wave for spirit and intention.  I first became aware of this early in my experience of sharing attunement.  The energy in the current resonated in my vocal chords and I had the urge to hum.  When I did, the texture of the energy became smooth like silk.  From that experience, I went on to explore the use of sound in energy healing.

Each endocrine gland resonates to a specific frequency or pitch, starting with the pineal gland that resonates to F# and ending with the gonads that resonate to C natural—according to my own perceptions.

The Chakras also resonate to musical pitches, according to Tantric Yoga traditions handed down, which I’ve discovered are the tonic tones that give rise to the corresponding Major Fifth harmonic frequency, or pitch, of the spiritual energy focused and expressing in and through the endocrine glands.

For example, the Crown Chakra resonates to a B natural pitch, which is the tonic tone – the Do – of the Pineal gland’s harmonic Major Fifth tone F#. (do B, mi D#, sol F#)

For a full list of musical intervals between the Chakras and the Endocrine centers, email me and I will be more than happy to send you a chart from my book Attunement With Sacred Sound, along with a copy of my notes.  My book is also available at a cost of $32 plus postage and handling.

OVERTONES, UNDERTONES AND CYMATICS

Keep in mind that overtones and undertones are set in motion by these pitches as well as they play upon a vast array of tissue cells throughout the body temple.

I can only imagine the cymatic configurations created in the atomic substance that make up the fabric of our anatomy and physiology.  Mending of broken parts and renewal of old parts take place.  New earth is thusly created.

Cymatics, as you are likely aware, is the phenomenon of sacred geometrical shapes and patterns that sound frequencies produce in matter, such as water.

Our bodies being composed largely of water, some 85% of it, one can only envision the impact sound has on and in them.  Here is a clip of Anna-Maria Hefele demonstrating polyphonic overtone chant.

MY PERSONAL ENERGETIC HYGENE

It is important, as I approach another soul to offer my service, that my energetic atmosphere be clean and buoyant, and that my presence in our shared field is the presence of Love.  As I identify with the Attunement Current, with Love, as what I AM, I can rest assured that I am offering a pure tone for my client’s energetic body to resonate with. Whatever is dominant in my own personal emotional and mental lens — to use one of Lloyd’s useful metaphors — will find resonant substance in the capacities of another.  This is the basis, as we know, upon which response is given rise to radiation. As Paul Price has often reminded us, we bring the essence and quality of our momentary living to our attunement altar.

Resonance plays a large part in the dynamic at play in attunement.  One may simply enter the place of stillness, in Rumi’s agenda-less field of non-judgment of right and wrong, in order to assure that only the pure Tone of Love is reverberating in one’s heart and mind before extending hands and entering another’s personal and sacred space.

“Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord?  Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity nor sworn deceitfully.” (Psalm 24: 3-4)

SCHUMANN RESONANCES

Mother Earth’s natural heartbeat rhythm is the frequency of 7.83 Hz, also known as the “Schumann Resonance”.

The Schumann resonances (SR) are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth‘s electromagnetic field spectrum. Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances, generated and excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere.[1]   (Wikipedia)

Schumann Resonances were first documented by Nikola Tesla in 1899. A German physicist named Winfried Schumann studied them extensively and began trying to measure them in the 1950s, and got his name attached to them (although accurate measurements weren’t possible until the 60s—and Tesla’s numbers were right from the start.) The resonances arise from lightning storms—of which there are around 2000 occurring planet-wide at any given moment—exciting the cavity of air between the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere. Acoustically speaking, life on Earth arises and exists within a room whose boundaries are these. Due to the ongoing nature of the storms, this torus-shaped expanse that encases us is forever singing, like a wine glass forever flicked by the finger of fate. The fundamental frequency of that song, the do of its tonality, is, on average with slight variations, 7.83 Hz: the fundamental Schumann Resonance. (That’s about 8 trips around the planet per second.)

To say that the fundamental Schumann Resonance has an influence is an understatement: all of life on Earth—including us and our thoughts and feelings—arises within it and its harmonics. That sounds like a world do if I’ve ever heard one—and that’s the frequency associated with C and the Root Chakra in the Muzoracle system. (While 7.83 Hz is far below the range of our hearing, we can hear—and certainly feel—the resonance two octaves higher, at 31.32 Hz; three octaves higher than that we find our middle C at 250.56 Hz.)  (Muzoracle.com)

Everything from our brain waves and biorhythms to our states of consciousness are directly correlated to the Earth’s frequencies.  The Schumann resonance has been steady at 7.83Hz until three years ago when it began to accelerate to somewhere in the 15 to 25Hz levels. The Earth is rapidly shifting her vibration.  (Google Search) Ω

The 7 Vibrations In Nature

We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments and our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music.”   Albert Einstein

In the wake of the series, The Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, and while scanning my documents in search of a file, I came upon something my friend PenDell Pittman scribed and sent to me several months ago. With his permission, I will share it in this post. As you will see, it echoes and expands in a most clear and thoughtful way the theme of my last few posts in which I described the creative process through which the Spirit of Love moves down into the body mediated and differentiated into seven vibrational frequencies by the 7 glands of the endocrine system in order to touch the physical realm and re-create and maintain the new earth of our physical bodies.  PenDell’s meditation envisions the same creative process as it unfolds Creation itself in the larger cosmic context.  The opening words of Genesis explode in my mind:

“In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth; and the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God said: “Let there be light.” (Genesis 1:1)

And the universe unfolded out of the Light, shaped by the sound of Love’s Word, differentiated into 7 rainbow frequencies composing the Music of the Spheres. In five cosmic days, the world of Nature was created as a setting for Man and Woman to live and share the ongoing work of creating the world of beauty we see around us in Nature.  As PenDell envisioned and describes it step by cosmic step in this beautiful writing. . . .

7 VIBRATIONS IN NATURE

Vibration 1:   Lines of Love Force radiate into the unformed.

Vibration 2:   The unformed is attracted to and becomes stimulated by Vibration 1. A Womb for Vibration 1 is established and becomes Vibration 2. In harmony with Vibration 1, Vibration 2 begins to radiate Lines of Force further into the unformed.

Vibration 3:   The Radiation of the harmonization of Vibration 1 and Vibration 2 create patterns of complexity in the unformed which blossom into Vibration 3, the Life Force.

Vibration 4:   The radiance of Vibration 3 moves out into a wider radius, enticing greater complexity.  Eurythmic relationships emerge between existing complexities. This intermingling sets in motion a new pulsation that adds Assurance and Clarity to the Lines of Love Force.

Vibration 5:   Lines of Force moving through Vibration 4 bring about an urge for greater specificity. Direction and Purpose are established within the matrix of complexities by the radiation of Sanctification.

Vibration 6:   The radiation of Vibration 5 brings a calming influence to the creative cauldron out of which a focus of intelligence and coordination comes into play and begins to apply itself as the Force of Tranquility, flowing gently within the matrix of complexities.

Vibration 7:   The Vibration 6 Lines of Force pour out into atomic substance causing it to tremble. Cymatic patterns of design begin to appear in the atomic substance that in time find relationship in symbiotic configurations that grow in complexity. In Patience a New Earth is born.

In this new beginning in our day, God is incarnate on Earth in a body of heavenly hosts who have found one another and connected along ancient lines of eternal friendship. A new Heaven has already descended upon human consciousness for a New Earth, a void awaiting its birth.  Darkness is once again upon the face of the deep of tomorrow.  The Spirit of God once again moves upon the face of the waters; and the angelic host incarnate and awake say in one voice with one accord: “Let there be light!” And there is light. And in the Light of Love there is peace in the heart and stillness in the outer mind.  And the peace and stillness allows the minute and specific details of design and control in Heaven for the New Earth to unfold and reveal themselves, all in the seasons of the Lord and the rhythms of the Music of the Spheres.  Patience is the call of the day.  Let it all unfold naturally.

The light of love shines in the darkness, and the darkness does not comprehend it, for the darkness thinks itself to be the light, the dim and waning light of “knowledge” worshipped by the human intellect.  Nevertheless, the light of love shines in the darkness and enlightens the world and human consciousness so that the New Earth can be clearly seen coming down from God out of Heaven, and joyously welcomed.

And we’ve only just begun Day One.  Let love shine into the darkness without concern for tomorrow.  All is well and well in our hands, the hands of God on Earth.  Let it be so.
