At the Crossover: A White Stone . . . and a New Name

“We as individuals carry power and are part of a larger pattern in which power moves through earth and tides, seasons and thoughts and words.” —Rose Meeker

I HAD A DREAM A FEW NIGHTS AGO about the number 8.  There was a large poster in front of what appeared to be a holistic healing center that read “DEEP EIGHT” and a large number 8 below the caption.  The message I heard was that the vibrational essences in the top half of the 8 have descended and deeply penetrated the lower half energizing and renewing it.  The implication was that we had reached the place in our spiritual movement and transformation between the New Heaven above the New Earth below where all power in Heaven and on Earth are given to us as a collective body of Man to bring forth the New Earth deeply into our planet. Not only bring it into planet Earth but to bring forth a new order into our Solar Entity.  We have come fully into the crossover point between Heaven and Earth, the Fourth Dimension where I AM known.

The Human Race is at a crossroads: either we move up in consciousness to the “Fourth Dimension” or we perish in third-density existence.  We are seven-dimensional entities . . . more than bodies with minds and hearts.  We are Human Beings: spiritual beings who incarnated from out of the immaterial, invisible realms of Light and into the material, visible realm of physical matter — spirits in flesh bodies with minds and hearts that let us live and serve on the material plane of being.  That’s four densities, or dimensions: Spirit, heart, mind, body —  through which moves a mighty river of Love, of Truth and of Life. That makes seven dimensions . . . which comprise a whole new entity which may be described as God in action on Earth.  At the fourth dimension, the crossover point, I AM present as a Human Being, spirit incarnate, at the crossover point between Heaven and Earth.

(The graphic below portrays several cycles and configurations, which I will not detail in this post; perhaps in a future post.  What I wish to portray with this graphic is the “larger pattern through which power moves” and of which we are a part —  in the Creative Process that brings forth Man and the entire world of form.  What I sensed in my dream was that the cycles moving in the “INNER PLANE” of the New Heaven above had moved down into the “OUTER PLANE” below where Man lives — where we live and have our being and co-create the New Earth.

Note that in the outer plane the cycle moves down on the left and up on the right, bringing down the patterns in the New Heaven for the New Earth into human consciousness, while disintegrating the old heaven in human consciousness and the old earth maintained by the disintegrating old heaven in consciousness, and on the right simultaneously integrating the elements that give form to the New Earth.  Our role is one of stewarding this creative cycle, which has been moving long before the Awakening in human consciousness.  We who have awakened to this cycle bear the greater responsibility for stewarding it.)

Since our fall out of the Garden state, we have functioned, in consciousness and in behavior, as third-density creatures on a third-density planet, not much more intelligent than our apian friends, though sadly more destructive.  Our planet has begun its movement vibrationally to the Fourth Density where it will no longer be able to support third-density entities.  So, we find ourselves as planetary inhabitants squeezed out of our comfort zone in third-density and being pressured to let go and move on up with the planet to a higher vibrational state: the Fourth Dimension.  A critical number have already moved up and cleared the path for all to follow.  “The Earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.”

I POSTED THIS THREE YEARS AGO and feel it is time to repost it.  Each time when I return to this inspired writing, I am summoned once again to a place of remembrance of my mission and purpose.  As I explore in my book SACRED ANATOMY– where spirit and flesh dance in the fires of creation, we have in our physical anatomy and endocrine physiology the equipment to transform and transmute our flesh bodies to higher vibrational frequencies.  I write about this endocrine physiology of hormonal function, with its potential alchemy for transmutation of flesh, in my book.   It feels timely now to revisit the chapter “The Spiritual Significance of the Pineal Gland.”  For context, you would benefit by reading the post previous to this one: “The Pineal Gland, Crystal Portal for Incarnation.

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.” (Rev 2:17)

A STONE CUT OUT WITHOUT HANDS

Uranda’s reference in my previous post to the “white stone” as being the “renewed Pineal Gland” reminds me of another place in the Old Testament of the Bible where a small stone is mentioned that plays a pivotal role in the history of the Middle East. This reference is in the second chapter of The Book of Daniel. It is such a wonderful and pertinent story that I would like to consider it in all of its dramatic and significant details.

DANIEL AND KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR

It seems that Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar, having just besieged Jerusalem—something that occurred quite frequently in those days—had a dream which he summoned his soothsayers to not only interpret for him but to tell him the very dream itself, for he had forgotten it.  All he could remember of it was that it troubled his spirit so much that it woke him from his sleep. Yet he could not remember the dream, so he summoned all the wise men of Babylon to remember it for him and interpret it.  When they could do neither, he was so furious that he commanded that they all be destroyed, along with Daniel and his fellows, Shadrach, Mishach and Abednego — formerly known by the names,  Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, respectively.  To Daniel was given the name “Belteshazzar.”

Of course Daniel, who had not as yet had his chance at the dream, came to the king and did indeed tell him his dream as well as its interpretation.  This pleased the king, who then acknowledged that Daniel’s God was truly “a God of  gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets,” so he showered Daniel with many gifts and made him ruler over all the governors of Babylon.  He also placed Daniel’s fellows over the affairs of the province of Babylon,  with its hanging gardens, one of the “seven wonders of the world.” (Near present-day Baghdad)

THE DREAM

The dream itself was of a great image that was fashioned of various ores.  His head was made of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron and his feet, interestingly enough, were made with a mixture of iron and clay.  What likely troubled king Nebuchadnezzar so was what happened in his dream to this image when a stone, “cut out without hands,” smote the image upon its feet.  The feet mixed with iron and clay crumbled and the whole image came tumbling down and all that the image was made of—the gold, the silver, the brass and the iron mixed with clay—was blown away by the wind so that nothing was left of it anywhere.  But the stone became a great mountain which filled the whole earth.

Daniel interpreted the dream as a prophetical outworking that would see the rise and fall of several empires, including Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian empire, which Daniel said was represented by the head of gold.  There would be other empires to come after the Babylonian empire, such as the Persian, the Grecian and Roman empires.  All would rise and fall.  The stone represented the kingdom of Daniel’s “God of heaven” which would be established during the reign of these kings and would remain to fill the whole earth after these other kingdoms had passed away.

King Nebuchadnezzar, for whatever reason, was not content to simply heed the message of his dream.  He had a ninety by nine foot statue, or “image of gold,” erected “in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon” (Daniel 3:1).  Now Babylon [today’s Iraq] was a province, or state—a collective, in other words, of many cities.  In the Bible, whenever a city or state is mentioned, it may be seen as a metaphor for consciousness, so that Babylon could be seen here as relating to the collective consciousness of humanity in which the human mind plays a focal role as a lens to refocus the light of truth.  The mind is historically thought to be anchored within the brain.  So I think it’s interesting, if not significant, that this “image of gold” was erected in the “plain of Dura” somewhere in Babylon. The word “Dura,” as we saw above, is also used to identify the outer protective membrane of the brain and spinal chord.

In other words, this image could be seen as representing an image of gold held in the human intellect, gold representing love, but also what gold brings, namely power, as well as abundance and wealth. To Nebuchadnezzar this image of gold represented his many gods and the gifts of wealth and plenty these gods had bestowed upon him and his empire. Having erected this gigantic idol, he commanded that, upon hearing the sound of the “musick,” everyone, under penalty of death in the fiery furnace, should fall down and worship the golden image.

ONE “LIKE UNTO THE SON OF GOD” IN THE FIERY FURNACE

As the story goes, it was reported to the king that Daniel’s three companions were not obeying his command, so the king had Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego bound and thrown into the fiery furnace to honor his decree.  So furious was he that these three friends of Daniel would not worship his gods that he had the furnace heated seven times more than it was wont to be heated. As we recall, the three men, who went into the fiery furnace singing songs of praise and thanksgiving to their God, were not burned by the fire but only their bonds,  along with the men who had thrown them into the furnace, were destroyed, setting them free.

The king was suddenly “astonied”  because of what he saw in the furnace:

“Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire ?” he asked of his counselors.  “True, king” they answered him.  “Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:24-25)

Here is that vision again of the One standing in the midst of fire that is like unto the Son of God.  There was a presence, in other words, that was of another dimension.

Daniel himself was favored by all the kings who reigned during his lifetime because “an excellent spirit was in him,” and because of his strong faith in his God.   The Median King Darius later on would have to throw Daniel into the lion’s den to appease the Medes and Persians, who are known for their unalterable laws, only to spend a sleepless night fasting and in deep repentance hoping that Daniel’s God would surely deliver him.  He arose early in the morning and went with haste to the lion’s den crying out remorsefully but hopefully for Daniel, whom he found quite whole and unharmed.   He was “exceeding glad” and therefore commanded that those who had made the accusation against Daniel themselves be fed to the lions, along with their wives and their families.   Further he wrote to all the peoples of the entire earth that had peace among them and decreed that “in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and steadfast forever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.”

It is noteworthy here that throughout this story of Daniel he is placed first over other princes and governors because of his spirit, which was the spirit of the Lord God whom Daniel worshiped and sought to represent to the rulers and people of this great empire.  It is also noteworthy that this king, along with others after him in the story, were constantly torn between their many gods—the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and stone—and this One God of Heaven that Daniel worshiped and obeyed.  Whereas they could not deny the awesome power Daniel’s God bestowed upon him, particularly over secrets and dreams (it seems the kings of that era had a lot of disturbing dreams), they would resort to their traditions of placating the gods of their religions so as to assure their kingship, as well as the people’s homage, respect and obedience, as rulers of the world at that time.

It was always the accusations of the other governors against Daniel and his companions that caused the king to enforce his own decrees, only to hope in his heart that Daniel’s God would surely deliver them.  This dynamic makes the story all the more interesting and relevant to human nature antics, which have not changed much.  For even to this day do we worship the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and especially stone which we grind up to construct our buildings and highways.  So do we also make laws that cannot be broken without paying either with money or our lives — the same laws to be used in bringing down those in high places of government, our leaders and elected officials whom we blame for our troubles, while praying to God for deliverance from them.

This was the empire where Daniel began to prosper and his God of Heaven was acknowledged as being the “God of the living” to be feared and worshiped by all peoples everywhere.  The one just prior to this one, ruled over by Nebuchadnezzar’s son, Belshazzar, was the one represented in the dream by the feet made of iron mixed with clay.  It had fallen, bringing all the empires of that era down into the dust of obliteration.  But Daniel’s God and his heavenly kingdom, once a little stone, had grown into a great mountain which filled the whole earth.

Stay tuned for the rest of the story and its prophetic significance in my next post. Until then,

Be love. Be loved

New Jerusalem: City of Peace

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase ‘each other’
doesn’t make any sense.

THIS POEM BY THIRTEETH CENTURY SUFI MYSTIC and great Persian poet, Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Rumi, has been circulating for several years.  I’ve given it consideration over the past several months and have come to see and experience this “field” of Rumi’s not so much as a place to go as a place one cannot leave.  It’s the eternal here and now.  It’s where I live and have my being. The Master Jesus called it “the Kingdom of Heaven.” In Genesis it’s called Eden, a garden state, indicating a realm where seeds of intention are planted, nurtured and germinate.  David Bohm calls it the “implicate order” of vibrational essences and patterns for manifesting forms in the “explicate order.” Episcopal priest and mystical author Cynthia Bourgeault describes this field as the “imaginal realm.” In a word, Rumi’s “field” is at the Center of my turning world were I AM known.  A place of absolute silence and tranquility where “nothing is wrong; everything matters,” to borrow a wise saw from a friend.

A NEW JERUSALEM

While in an elevated Field of the Spirit, John of Revelation had a vision which he describes as a “new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven.”

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away, and there was no more sea.  And I John saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  (Rev 21:1)

Recently I heard this field of Rumi’s described as the realm of the “Source Code” where the patterns of creation for the “new Jerusalem” are held and made available for downloading, to use a tech term, into human consciousness.  I resonate with this perspective . . . up to the point of interpretation.

This is a field, as Rumi described, where judgement of right and wrong is utterly non-existent.  Where the design for the New Earth, the new Jerusalem, is held inviolate and out of sight of the judgmental human mind.  The old Jerusalem doesn’t qualify for inclusion in Rumi’s field, burdened as it is with the “Law of Moses” and a slew of Old Testament laws detailing all the “wrongdoings and rightdoings” for the Jewish people.

The design for the new Jerusalem comes down from God out of Heaven into the pure and peaceful heart where it can be nurtured and protected.  This relates to what is occurring NOW everywhere, and not to any particular sect or religion, such as the Jews, Muslims or Christians, all three of which occupy the old Jerusalem, the “Holy City.”  They’ve all been given their opportunities and failed utterly to show people the Way by which they may enter the kingdom of heaven now without having to die in order to go there . . . they themselves failed to enter in.

This is in no way intended to be anti-Semitic, anti-Christian or anti-Muslim.  It’s just what is and has been all down through the ages.  I have nothing against the Jews, the Muslims, or the Christians.  My discomfort lies in the interpretation of the passage in Revelation in which John sees in a vision “the new Jerusalem” coming down from God out of heaven.  To explore and uncover what’s warranting my discomfort, I have given a lot of meditative time to the meaning of the world “Jerusalem” itself.

JERUSALEM, MELCHIZEDEK AND SHEM

Jerusalem. A holy city for Jews, Christians, and Muslims; the capital of the ancient kingdom of Judah and of the modern state of Israel. The name means “city of peace.” Jerusalem is often called Zion; Mount Zion is the hill on which the fortress of the city was built.  (Wikipedia)

The word Salem means peaceful and complete.  It was the “Holy City” in ancient Hebrew history where the temple of Jerusalem was located, and where “Melchizedek” reigned as High Priest and “King of righteousness.” For Christians, Jerusalem is also the place where Jesus preached, died and was resurrected. Many also see the city as central to an imminent Second Coming of Jesus. Jerusalem is now a major pilgrimage site for Christians from around the world.  For Muslims, Jerusalem is a site of key events in the life of Jesus and other important figures. It’s also the spot where, according to traditional interpretations of the Koran and other texts, the prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. Mohammed was carried from Mecca to Jerusalem, and then from Jerusalem into the heavens, where he conversed with prophets before returning to earth. For more than 1,300 years, there have been Muslim shrines in Jerusalem. (Washington Post)

A SHIFT OF THE PRIESTHOOD

There was a shift from the Levite priesthood of Abraham’s day to the priesthood of Melchizedek, the title “Priest of the Most High God” that Shem inherited from Noah, his father.  Here’s a bit of history about this shift:

Psalm 110, in referring to a future messiah of the Davidic line, alludes to the priest-king Melchizedek as a prototype of this messiah. This allusion led the author of the Letter to the Hebrews in the New Testament to translate the name Melchizedek as “king of righteousness” and Salem as “peace” so that Melchizedek is made to foreshadow Christ, stated to be the true king of righteousness and peace (Hebrews 7:2). According to the analogy, just as Abraham, the ancestor of the Levites, paid a tithe to Melchizedek and was therefore his inferior, so the Melchizedek-like priesthood of Christ is superior to that of the Levites. Furthermore, just as the Old Testament assigns no birth or death date to Melchizedek, so is the priesthood of Christ eternal.  (Wikipedia)

ORIGIN AND HISTORY OF THE PRIESTHOOD

After the “Fall” when man lost conscious awareness of the Garden State in which he was created in God’s image and likeness, and the Presence of the Creator in the Garden, there arose a need for an intercessor, a go-between, to represent and speak for God in man’s fallen state.  The priesthood was that intercessor between God and man and between man and his Creator.  Adam was the first “Priest of the Most High God.” The priesthood came down through Adam’s lineage and was passed on to Noah, whose eldest son Shem (or Melchizedek) was High Priest in the temple at Salem.  Shem and Melchizedek may be one and the same, as Melchizedek is thought not to be the name of an individual but rather a “High Order” of the priesthood; a title given to the “Priest of the Most High God,” or simply High Priest.

Shem inherited the land of Salem and Melchizedek [Shem] is the king of Salem.  Shem reigned in righteousness (Melchizedek’s name means King of Righteousness), and the priesthood came through him. If Shem is indeed Melchizedek, the name is then used as a title, not an actual name. This title would seem to fit the biblical account of the Godliness and righteousness ascribed to Shem.  Shem, Noah’s Son that was still alive at the time of Abraham and that would make him the oldest man alive qualifying him as a candidate for the order of Melchizedek

Melchizedek, also spelled  Melchisedech, in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), a figure of importance in biblical tradition because he was both king and [high] priest, was connected with Jerusalem, and was revered by Abraham, who paid a tithe to him. He appears as a person only in an interpolated vignette (Genesis 14:18–20) of the story of Abraham rescuing his kidnapped nephew, Lot, by defeating a coalition of Mesopotamian kings under Chedorlaomer.

In the episode, Melchizedek [Shem] meets Abraham on his return from battle, gives him bread and wine (which has been interpreted by some Christian scholars as a precursor of the Eucharist, so that Melchizedek’s name entered the canon of the Roman mass), and blesses Abraham in the name of “God Most High” (in Hebrew El ʿElyon).  In return, Abraham gives him a tithe of the booty.  (https://www.britannica.com/biography/Melchizedek)

THE OLD ORDER HAS PASSED AWAY

Another translation of the phrase “for the former things are passed away” is “for the old order of things has passed away.”  The old order of the Levite priesthood has passed away and the new priesthood, according to the order of Melchizedek, characterized by the sharing of communion with bread and wine, had been established on earth by the Lord of Love himself during the “Last Supper” with his disciples before his crucifixion.  His one and only message in the form of a commandment was that we love the Lord our God with all, and that we love our neighbor as ourselves.  Another way he phrased his commandment was “That ye love one another as I have loved you.” He did not establish a religion with a plethora of laws.  In fact he cautioned against making any more laws than the ones he had given, lest they keep one from doing the right and fitting thing in the circumstance at hand.  The Jewish religion, of course, rejects Jesus altogether as the promised messiah, which means it also rejects the entire New Testament of the Bible, including John’s Book of Revelation . . . so the point of this blog post carries little weight if any for anyone who embraces the beliefs, and denials, of Judaism.  This denial does not dismiss the truth that the old order of things in heaven and on earth pass away to give room for the new order.

CITY OF PEACE

The “new Jerusalem” is none other that the New Earth now being born from out of the New Heaven, and it is designed by God to be a “City of Peace.”  We have entered a new Golden Age wherein peace and love will abide and flourish in the hearts of human beings and spill over into the world — and there will be no need for an intervening priesthood as the conscious awareness of God’s presence within every man and woman will be restored and man will awaken to the realization that he has direct access to God within himself.  This awakening is already happening.

Those who insist on holding onto the belief that the new Jerusalem is to be an earthly city or nation governed by a religious sect are not in position to see the City of Peace in the Heaven and therefore exclude themselves from participating in the birthing process of the “new Jerusalem.” Contention and war are not possible in this City of Peace, neither is isolation, superiority, entitlement and exclusion of others.

Our Home among the stars

“THE HEAVEN OF THS EARTH IS A CITY IN A STAR”

The City of Peace is the Garden of Eden remembered once again by Man restored.  It’s a “CITY IN A STAR” as my spiritual mentor, the late Martin Exeter, describes here below. Here is an expanded perspective of the Garden of Eden from an cosmic point of view:

The Garden is so close that we cannot in fact get out of it, and yet we don’t know it is there. We don’t know it is there because there is this veil, or I suppose it might be called a transformer, in between, which steps down the Garden Radiation to something that human beings can stand in their murky state. And it is because of this that they have continued to exist and that the potential for a return to the true state has been present. It is present because life is still in the carcass of mankind. I suppose if one were to use one’s imagination a little one might recognize that the heaven of this earth is a City in the Star. It was called the Holy City, wasn’t it, coming down from God out of heaven to take form. We may have a view of something rather vast, at least from the standpoint of human proportions: a mighty star which is composed of heaven and earth. It is all one thing. In the United States there are many cities but it is still one nation. In this star there are many cities but it is still One Star, something whole. Of course that is not the end of the wholeness either, as far as that is concerned, but it is about as far as we need to go this evening, I think.    (The Great Cosmic Story  To enjoy this entire enlightening consideration, simply click on the link)

This City is poised to fully manifest on Earth, and it will be painful for those who resist the purification of their hearts in the fire of Love that is already burning in the hearts of men and women the world over.  It will be cause for rejoicing for those who dwell in heaven.  The “sign of the Son of Man” already appears in the clouds of heaven, in the consciousness of Man now being restored.  Look not down to see where the new Jerusalem might appear, nor where one may believe it will appear, nor where Jesus might return.  Look up into the clouds of consciousness and see and welcome the City of Peace already descending.

Angels are uncloaking their radiant beings and apocalyptic light is shining in the dark shadows of Eden.  Rumi’s “field”— the kingdom of heaven — the new Jerusalem — the City of Peace — the City in our Star — are all at hand within and all around us.  The pure of heart see God in the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.  Let not your heart be troubled. Let it be purified in the fire of Love — love for the Lord our God and love for one another.  Be at peace.  This is what is at hand. . . and shall be henceforth.

Thank you for sharing my meditations and thoughts.  Feel free to share yours in the comment section or by email.  Until my next post,

Laying the Foundations of the Earth: A Sonic Event

The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, and God spoke the Word: “Let there be light.” And with that Tone, the heavenly hosts of angels joined the Creator in singing the Universe into being.

(Click on the image to start the two-part video and play to the end)

“Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare if thou hast understanding. Who hast laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the cornerstone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? . . . Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?”   (Job 38:3-7,33)

THE MUSIC OF THE SPHERES

By the tone of the words above — my favorite passages from the Book of Job — we are expected, even demanded, to know the answer to the questions “Where wast thou?” and “Knowest thou?”  Apparently, Man was there, along with heavenly hosts, and participated with the angels in laying the foundations of the Earth.  Do you have a haunting memory of being there?  I do, and a few others I am aware of who have awakened to their angelic presence in heaven . . . and begun listening to and interpreting “frequencies from another dimension,” as David Bohm describes the function of our holographic brains in a holographic universe.

We are being drawn by Love back to a remembrance of our spiritual and vibrational foundation where alone we know we have been with God since the beginning and know well the ordinances of heaven and how to set their dominion in the earth; first the earth of our physical bodies, and then the planet upon which we have incarnated.  We are beginning to remember, as the Spirit of Truth is recalling all things to remembrance.  We are beginning to know and know that we know.

There’s a prevailing sense of being in and knowing a grander and vaster world than planet Earth and having been a participant in it since the foundations of the Earth were laid in the Heaven and the dominion of the ordinances set in the earth — when we were given charge over Creation, “dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”  That dominion was to be exercised from our intended place in the heaven, where original Man was created in the image and after the likeness of the Creator.  We have temporarily lost that dominion and have become subject and prey to the wild kingdoms of the natural world.  It’s time to remember who we are and from whence we have fallen; time to return to a remembrance of our foundation in the heaven.

VIBRATIONAL FOUNDATION

When we think of foundations we commonly think of the underpinnings of buildings. This is so in the material world of analogous form.  In Bohm’s immaterial “implicate order,” the foundations of forms in the material “explicate order” are in the heaven above the earth — “a realm of meaningful, patterned primary reality that transcends space and time.”  As we set about creating the New Earth together, it may be helpful to revisit the Creation story in the Book of Genesis and consider the protocols in the unfolding Creative Process — for there’s only one Creative Process and only one way creation unfolds.  It moves in cycles from Radiation to Response to Attraction which leads to Union and completes itself in Unified Radiation.  This is my current meditation, which I am delighted to share in this post.

If you recall, in the Book of Genesis it is said that in the beginning “God created the heaven and the earth.” The heaven was created first, and in the heaven God created and established the ordinances for the foundations of the earth, the vibrational patterns for the earth.  In the quantum world of pure energy, this is creation in its invisible wave form before energy and light waves collapse and become particles.

CYMATICS: SHAPING MATTER WITH SOUND VIBRATIONS

A graphic portrayal of the vibrational nature of the Creative Process can perhaps best be understood in the context of the science of Cymatics where invisible sound waves create images and visible shapes in sand, or lycopodium and other responsive mater, such as the surface of water.  (In the implicate order, sound is of course inaudible.) Enjoy this 9.25-minute video for an educational and entertaining demonstration.

Here are cymatic images of the human voice

Here are the Cymatic images of 12 piano notes. Each note, when intoned, shapes hallowed space according to its own unique tone and resultant overtones and undertones.  Creation thus blossoms in its myriad and diverse shapes and colors.

John Stuart Reid on the vibrational foundation of life (2.30 video)

IN THE BEGINNING GOD

This hexagon storm pattern on Saturn’s North pole is likely created by sound.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.  And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (Gen 1:1-5)

I will consider a few of the implications in this passage.  The first implication is that the God of Creation, designated as “he,” employed the energy of the Divine Masculine, a magnetic force field, in drawing together the various vibrational essences and lines of force in setting the Creative Process in motion, the initiating power being positive action or radiation.  Having both “male and female” creating energies available, here God is in his masculine role as Creator — Brahma of Hinduism.  God, who is Love, is always in the beginning of the Creative Process.

A second implication is that there were “waters” already in existence upon which the Spirit of God moved. These waters may be known as the waters of consciousness; in this instance the Consciousness of the Creator.  Also, water is the symbol of truth, the provision of design and control in the developing process.  Water is also the first of the Four Forces of creation and comes at the beginning of a Creative Process.  Air is the second Force, which in this event is the Spirit of God in motion, like the wind, moving upon the face of the waters.

A third implication is that sound was used by the Creator to speak light into existence: “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters; and God said, Let there be light.” When the Spirit of God, Love, moves upon the face of the waters of our consciousness, light is created and shines into the darkness.

A fourth aspect of this creative action worth noting is in the creative command “Let,” a word used to manifest form in every phase in the cycles of creation.  “Let there be light . . . Let there be a firmament . . . Let the dry land appear.” Letting the Creative Process unfold naturally is always the path forward in life.

A fifth and peculiar implication is the order in which morning follows evening in a creative day: “And the evening and the morning were the first day.”  This implies that the day begins at high noon and not a midnight.  In our  earthly perspective, evening follows morning and the day begins at midnight.  Of course one of God’s creative days is much longer than twenty-four hours; more like tens-of-thousands of earth years.

In a wholistic and holographic model and context, this is very important for us to be aware of, for in the evening we set the tone and the heaven for the new day; we plant the vibrational seeds of intention that gestate in our consciousness as we sleep and blossom as sunrise starts a new day. This is particularly significant for those who live on the West Coast of the Americas and other continents; but it applies to all of us as sunset approaches each evening.  All this emphasizes the connections we have in this living entity we call Home among the stars with one another in the one body of humanity, the Body of God on Earth, and with the Earth itself.  We are One Entity.

THE MORNING STARS WITH THE SONS OF GOD

The last line of the passage from the Book of Job at the top speaks of a most significant event:  “When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy.” What a beautiful and harmonious image these words portray.  “Morning Star” is one of the names given to the angel Lucifer — also called “Son of the Morning” and “Bearer of the Light.” Apparently, there are a host of morning stars, of light bearers. They came with the creation of Light.  They are described here as singing together — and the sons of God as shouting for joy.  We know something of this today as angels awaken their human consciousness to what is already present and provided for by our Creator.  I may not be shouting for joy outwardly.  But in my heart I am shouting for joy in the awakening occurring all over the earth — also in knowing that we are encompassed by the angelic hosts of Heaven who are watching over us with love and protective care.

All this to say that sound, music, singing and joyful shouting were all involved in the Creation of the World.  This implies the sounding of a Tone, Gabriel’s trumpet perhaps.  As we saw in the Cymatics demonstration, sound has a way of bringing order and design out of chaos and confusion.  The Tone of Love is a clarifying sound and a purifying fire that cleanses the heart to make room for knowing the ordinances of heaven and our angelic presence in the world.  These words by my spiritual mentor, the late Lord Martin Exeter are germane to the process of purification:

“What is it that makes possible the cleansing of the heart? It isn’t anything that the mental apparatus of human beings can do. There is a means by which the heart may be purified. Fundamentally that means comes by reason of the sounding of the tone. This requires that the tone be sounded within the range of the substance of human minds and hearts. This process was described as the angels being sent forth with a great sound of a trumpet. If the impurities of heart can just be shuffled to one side sufficiently for the moment, there is the experience of that tone and love for the tone, the sound of the trumpet, and love for the source from which that tone proceeds. When that is greater than anything else, the human heart may be purified, purified by whatever this tone is.

As my heart is purified by my love for the tone and delight in sounding the tone of love in my living, rare and refined substance of spirit, described as pneumaplasm, begins to fill the imaginal realm of the heart and ascend upward into the heaven, the invisible realm of primary reality. Pneumaplasm is very sensitive and impressionable by high frequency vibrations. Images begin to make their impressions in the pneumaplasm. We begin to see and to know the vibrational ordinances of heaven and learn how to set their dominion in the earth.

Purification of the heart, the imaginal realm where the things of Spirit can emerge from out of heaven and be perceived and known in consciousness, is the first step.  “Rejoice ye heavens and ye that dwell in them.”

We could do with a lot of rejoicing right now in this vale of mounting tears we call our Home among the vast Universe of stars and galaxies.  Especially as we set about letting the New Earth appear from out of the New Heaven.  I’ll leave you to explore and interpret the implications of these biblical passages . . . as well as my thoughts herein expressed and shared with all.  I would love to share your thoughts by email, or in the comment section.  Until my next post,

Be love.  Be loved.

The Mystery of Consciousness: Manifestation By The Spoken Word

Rainbow Heart

Creation unfolds out of consciousness—another word for heaven—in very specific stages and rhythmic phases of development following an immutable design governed by Spirit which holds safe and secure the true design and control for living forms.  It is the Spirit of Love, Father God, that begets Life in the Womb of Mother God, the Spirit of Truth.  With our hearts we play a gestational and nurturing role in the process of creating living forms, a process that has been in operation since the beginning of creation when the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters of consciousness, and God said “Let there be light.”

Looking back into the far distant and ancient past, when Egyptian Gods walked the Earth and worked their magic of creating forms, we find the same pattern manifesting through the Creative Process:

Radiation ↔ Response ← Attraction ↔ Union → Unified Radiation.

OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART

It is said that the mouth speaks out of the abundance of the Heart.  The radiation of love is through the heart. Response to the radiation of love comes from the unformed quantum field of infinite possibilities and probabilities where energy waves collapse into particles the moment the light of love shines upon them and the creative Word is spoken.  Living forms are thus created and imbued with the light of love for the purpose of shining light into the creative field; the light that is life for all of creation.  Consciousness provides the matrix in which thought-forms shape intention and vision in an imaginal realm.  Voice and tongue provide the utterance and projection of the Word into the creative field.  Union follows attraction as coherence of structure allows the release of a unified Ray of Love’s Light. Thus has it been and will be for all eternity; surely as far back as history records.

CREATION BY THE WORD

We are constantly creating our worlds with the utterances of our tongues. I found this interesting piece of Ancient Egyptian history relating to the creator god Ptah while researching the role of sound in creation:

Ptah is the creator god of the Memphite theology. [Memphis was the capital of Ancient Egypt]. He was said to be the creator of all things, including other creator gods. Self-generated, Ptah, the god of the primeval mound (Tatenen), created by thinking of things in his heart and then naming them by means of his tongue. This is referred to as Logos creation, a label that references the Biblical “in the beginning was the Word (Logos)” [John 1:1]. The Egyptian gods Shu and Tefnut came into being from the mouth of Ptah. Ptah was sometimes equated with the Hermopolitan chaos pair Nun and Naunet. Besides being a creator god, Ptah is a chthonic god of the dead, who seems to have been worshiped since the early dynastic period.

Whether used self-actively in “darkened understand,” as the Gita says, or Spirit-actively by Man restored to the image and likeness of his Creator as God in action on earth, the principles governing the Creative Process are the same and apply without discrimination.  The heart is at the center of creation. “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.”

WHO WERE THESE GODS?

My critical inquiry goes in the direction of understanding who these Egyptian Gods were that walked the Earth in post-Edenic times.  For surely they were “as God” knowing good and evil and having the knowledge and power to create.  We learn of the “Elohim” from Hebraic scriptures.

In Genesis 1, the Hebrew word for God is “Elohim”, which is the general term for god or gods and is also, rather interestingly, a plural word.  In Genesis 1 Elohim is referred to as “him” (male singular) but speaks in plural (“Let us make man in our image”). However, in Genesis 2, the four-lettered name of God, YHWH, (Yahwey) first appears, and God is mostly referred to by this unique name from there on in.

Was Ptah perhaps one of the Creator Beings of Elohim?  Uranda (Lloyd A. Meeker) in his teachings speaks of a time when creator beings looked out into the unformed void of the Cosmos for a fitting place to create, as he put it, “a Home among the stars.” As I can best recall, they formed the collective group of God Beings known as Elohim.  In their collective One Heart they conceived an image of this Home and then spoke it into existence, sending forth a unified Triune Ray of Light into the unformed cosmic nebulae. The result was a dynamic response to their radiation, followed by an attraction that brought together atom with atom, particle with particle, and molecule with molecule into a cohesive solar entity around lines of force that provided design and control patterns bringing order out of chaos.  And here they established their Home among the stars, our Home among the stars.  To hear Uranda relate the story in detail, one has a sensing that he was there and possibly one among the Elohim.

“INSTANTANEOUS MANIFESTATION”

What piqued my interest in this legend about Ptah is the way in which he is said to have created things by speaking them into existence . . . having thought about them in his heart before “naming them by means of his tongue”— creation by the Word.  Along this line, I would like to share a presentation by Uranda of “Instantaneous Manifestation” dating back to January 1,1933 toward the beginning of his “Ministry of Truth”

INSTANTANEOUS MANFESTATION

The first step toward the attainment of instantaneous manifestation is LOVE. LOVE is the shaping force in all creation. This, then, is the secret of why it is so necessary to “love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,” and to “love thy neighbor as thyself.” That which you send out always comes back to you. If you send out from yourself thoughts of limitation and lack, limitation and lack appear in manifestation to carnal mind. Everyone is manifesting every day. All that appears in your life is manifested according to Law. Do not look at the art of manifestation as if it were something entirely new to be learned. All you need to learn is HOW TO CONTROL COMPLETELY EVERY MANIFESTATION WHICH YOU BRING FORTH. What you seek to know is the perfect application of the Law. You know that the Law works, otherwise you would have nothing but a complete void—you would not even have physical life.

These then are the SEVEN LAWS which govern manifestation:

  1. LOVE THE LORD THY GOD with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
  1. LOVE the thing which you wish to bring forth into manifestation, for this is intense desire and makes possible the application of the Third Law.
  1. CONCENTRATION, which is the elimination from the mind of every thought not directly related to the manifestation.
  1. VISUALIZATION, which is the building of a perfect mold through which the manifestation may come. Each detail must be perfectly visualized or it will not be perfectly manifested.
  1. Become ONE WITH YOUR CREATION so that you lose all consciousness of separate identity. BECOME IT.
  1. SPEAK THE WORD. Having become one with that which you desire to bring forth, you now BRING FORTH YOURSELF.
  1. GIVE THANKS TO GOD THAT IT IS SO. Here you regain consciousness of your identity as being apart from your manifestation.

Complying with the First Law you become one with God, for if you love God with all of your every sense and part of your being there is no room for anything else. Doing this, you are lifted above consciousness on the material plane of existence to the point where you are vibrating in perfect harmony with the ONE SOURCE of all things. If you desire bread you do not go to a hardware store. You go to the source of the food supply in your locality; that is, a grocery store. Therefore if you desire to bring forth into manifestation a hat, you cannot do so and remain on the plane where the hat will finally manifest. You must change your vibrations and make them harmonize with the one substance from which all things come, before you can influence that substance and make it take form. This is attained by love. You must love the first great cause with all that you are.

Love expressed through the mind that is not supported by the physical expression, that is, the heart, is one-sided and has no power to bring forth quickly. You see, then, that the perfect love which the soul has for God must be allowed to radiate fully and completely through both mind and body before the mind and body can become aware of oneness with God. “Faith without works is dead.” Faith is of the mind, while works are of the body. A mind which is in perfect attunement with the soul has perfect faith, and the body which is in perfect attunement with the soul is a perfect channel for perfect works. Your soul is now in harmony, or a state of oneness, with God; therefore all that is required of you is to so blend and harmonize your mind and body with your soul that you lose all distinction between them and so become aware of God’s oneness with you. This being done, you are vibrating in perfect harmony with the one substance from which all things are created.

Imperfect attunement with this one substance, which is God, brings forth an imperfect manifestation. This shows you why it is that all selfishness and disharmony with your fellow human beings must be eliminated. If you love God with all that you are, you love all of God, and since God is in every man, woman and child, you will love every man, woman and child when you love God. When you become one with God you will love the God substance in every person and thing. You may wish to change the form in which the God substance is manifesting, but you will love the God substance in every manifestation, whether the manifestation be perfect or imperfect, and this love will express in all of your radiation. Contemplation on these words will give you a complete understanding of the first law of manifestation.

When you have attained to this perfect understanding you may give attention to the Second Law, which is: Love the thing which you wish to bring forth into manifestation. Being one with the God substance you may direct your love to the object which you are manifesting. Your vibrations are instantly harmonized with that which you truly love. Thus it is that through love of God you become one with God, and being one with God substance you find that the idea of a thing, or the name of a thing, is the thing itself. The next step, then, is to love the hat which you are bringing forth, and this love is an intense desire to express yourself as a hat. This automatically brings into action the Law of Concentration, so that everything not related directly to the process of manifesting yourself as a hat is excluded from the realm of your attention.

With the perfect control of the attention a fact, the next Law is easily applied. With nothing to distract the attention, perfect visualization is natural, and every detail is perfectly harmonized in the picture.

Here is a test. Perfect love of a thing brings perfect acquaintance with it. Therefore if you have complied with the Second Law, you will know every detail which is to be incorporated into the manifestation. If you are not divinely aware of every detail in your creation you are not a worthy creator.

When you have complied with every Law thus far it will be easy to obey the dictates of the Fifth Law. Here you become aware of yourself as being’ one with the vibration on which your manifestation is to come forth. This is an understanding of the Law of Being which applies to your particular creation. Remember that the only difference between things is one of vibration. When you harmonize yourself with the vibrations of a hat, you become a hat. When you harmonize yourself with the vibrations of God, you become God, or one with God. Therefore the Fifth Law of Manifestation is to become one with creation so that in consciousness you are it.

The Sixth Law is the point of coming forth. This is done by the use of the spoken word. The spoken word, the creative word, is an acknowledgment that you are it. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Being one with it, you acknowledge that oneness and say, “I am a hat. Let there be a hat in manifestation now.” This law will be easily understood and applied when you have progressed to it. Until you have so progressed, further words concerning it will have little value to you.

The Seventh Law is most important, for through the application of it you make your creation permanent. That which you have created remains in manifestation to you only so long as you solidify it through praise and thanksgiving. Therefore you see the great reason for the many psalms of praise and thanksgiving.

Earnest application of the Seventh Sacred Law will cause that which you now have to grow and multiply. It brings you back to the First Law and makes you see how it is, and why it is, that God works in circles. It is only through the circle that a thing may be complete and yet be endless.

This is my instruction to you. Study it well, that you may learn to live it, for “Faith without works is dead.”

JUST DO IT !

Uranda’s successor, British Lord Martin Exeter, with the agreement of a circle of men and women in a state of accord, gathered around the very location where their vision was to materialize, manifested a dome chapel on Sunrise Ranch in Eden Valley near Loveland, Colorado . . . and later on a pavilion, along with skilled builders . . . and later yet two Lear jets, along with two experienced pilots.  He was a pilot himself, and a lean man of action who drew hundreds of men and women to his ministry.  Among his final words before departing in 1988 was a command to the effect: “Now you do it.  Manifest God in action on Earth through Man restored.” His words have been in my heart ever since.  I came to know oneness with his spirit, my spirit, just hearing him speak and sharing in the radiation of the Word. </strong>

We are here to do the “greater works” relating to the creation of the New Earth, the design and nature of which is being handed down to us via the New Heaven by the Creator of heaven and earth.  How shall we go about these greater works? We’ve talked about them for decades.  But, enough with words.  Words without works are empty.  We speak these days about the “veil” of the heart thinning and clarifying.  As a close friend exclaimed recently, it’s time to go ahead through the veil to the other side and be about the business of manifesting the New Earth and a new way of living.

There is something more that can be done and needs being done. With One Heart, One Mind and One Way, what is it that we are called together to do?  Can we now envision the New Earth in our One Heart and speak that vision into being with our Word as God in action on Earth?  The Way appears and opens before us as we come together in a place of accord. I welcome any thoughts you might have along this line.  Until my next post,

Be love.  Be loved.

The “Mystery of Consciousness”. . . The Addiction to Narrative

“Don’t be afraid to face the facts, and never lose your ability to ask the questions: Why? and How?”   Immanuel Velikovsky

CONSCIOUSNESS IS NO MYSTERY.  Like a seedbed wherein ideas are planted, nurtured by unwavering belief, and given birth in their seasons, consciousness is the matrix for creation.  It is very fertile soil, so fertile that one has to be very careful about the nature of the seeds one plants.

This fertile soil can be cultivated and seeded from below as well as from above and within.  Our physical bodies and the natural world are the fruits of seeds planted by Life from above.  The world that man has constructed and imposed upon the surface of this planet, with its skyscrapers, concrete roadways and parking lots, industrial and commercial complexes, along with its burgeoning landfills, are all the product of seeds planted by human beings from below . . . none of it compatible with the fine living, breathing fabric of our beautiful Home among the stars.

Not all is a burden to the Earth, as many of our ideas and dreams, visions and asperations are creative and harmonious with the natural climate of Gaia.  There is a saying among the spiritually awake when an idea presents itself for manifestation, “Put it in the heaven.”  A more common expression is “Put it on the back burner.” If it is resonant with Life, it may be useful to the creation of a living world.  What we now have is a dying world created by dying human beings.

Weeds find their way into this sacred soil as well, deposited there by birds-of-sorts in their fertilizing poop. There’s a biblical passage that cautions “Beware the snare of the fowler,” the web-like net of the human mind that snares fleeting ideas. The soil of consciousness can become cluttered with weed-yielding seeds, so we have a responsibility to “Tend and keep the Garden.”

The content of human consciousness is generally a clutter of “false ambition’s restless schemes” . . . busy thoughts and self-serving ideas and concepts—many of them like concrete: thoroughly mixed up and permanently set . . . and ardently defended when challenged.  Just consider the “narrative” put forth by the official guardians of the nation’s health with regard to the current global health crisis.  Try and put forward an alternative narrative on social media, even amongst friends and family, and you’ll find yourself quickly censored and cancelled.  Mark Twain had something to say about this: “It’s easier to fool people than to convince them they’ve been fooled.”

THE “OFFICIAL NARRATIVE”

Human consciousness, in its state of uncertainty and insecurity, greatly values official and popular narratives, and will ardently defends them against any and all challenges to the contrary.  It’s an addiction affording a sense of comfort, though false, in knowing what’s going on in the world, especially in a life-threatening crisis.  Most are fear mongering motivators.

There are a number of crises constantly going on in our world of many problems.  One such crisis is in the Christian world of religious beliefs and doctrines.  I ran into this one several months ago during a fairly pleasant conversation with a nephew who is heavily invested in the Pentecostal narrative that “All men are sinners”—until I suggested he consider the passage in Genesis that says he is made in the image and likeness of God and is therefore Divine.  He vehemently objected to even the suggestion of a different narrative about the nature of man. “Oh No! I am a sinner! The Bibles says all men are sinners.”  I recall a biblical passage that declares “All men are liars.” (Psalm 116:11).  It was Paul who declared all men to be sinners, but Paul didn’t know the Master, nor did he ever hear Him speak of His Gospel of the Kingdom of Love.

Then, there’s this “pandemic” which has polarized the population of the world in two different camps believing in two opposing narratives.  Friends and families have been torn apart by this controversy.  The attitude is taken, on both sides, “Don’t mess with my belief if you don’t want to start a heated argument.  I need to believe in this for my own sanity and security.”  Apparently, this is not a good time nor topic for inquiry and critical thinking.

People have been censored and imprisoned, even scrubbed out, for putting forth a narrative that radically differs from the “official” narrative . . . and not only in modern times.  We have the historical precedent of the crucifixion of Jesus.  He was denied not once but three times by a disciple, abandoned by all but two or three, and crucified by those to whom he had come to offer salvation and a Way into the Kingdom of Heaven without having to die—all for proclaiming his divinity and the divinity of all men, male and female, made in God’s image and likeness.  He brought forward a narrative that was radically different from the long-standing Hebrew doctrines, and it was rejected by staunch believers in an ancient narrative that a Messiah would come and set things to right here on earth.  “My kingdom is not of this world” he told Pilate . . . yet another narrative that no one in his day could quite comprehend much less adopt.  The narrative of a temporal kingdom with a Messiah as king was deeply invested in by the religious authorities of the day, as well as the Zealots among the people, who cried out for his crucifixion.

OUR YOUTH IN THE “CLIMATE CRISIS”

Then there’s the “climate crisis” everyone’s polarized in . . . well, almost everyone, most actively our youth since it’s their future that’s at stake.  Here’s a report by Somini Sengupta, Global Correspondent on climate issues for the New York Times from a recent survey of 10,000 young people on the issue of climate change.

HOW THE YOUNG GENERATIONS VIEW THE WORLD

Four Takeaways on the youth climate movement: They’ve grown up in a pandemic.  They’ve come of age in an era of strongman leaders.  The climate crisis looms over their very lives. Generation Z, the cohort born after 1996, has inherited a set of compounding uncertainties. It explains, in some measure, the vibe of the youth climate movement. Powered by rage and distrust, it is decentralized and it is increasingly focused on the inequitable effects of global warming.

The global youth movement known as Friday for the Future has called on its members to organize protests around the world this Friday, March 25 (yesterday).  Its rallying cry is “climate reparations and justice.”

Here’s what I find most revealing about this generation of climate activists: They distrust government.

In a survey of 10,000 people between ages 16 and 25 in 10 countries, three-fourths said they think “the future is frightening.”  The survey was funded by an advocacy group, Avaaz, led by researchers at the University of Bath in England and published in The Lancet in December.  It asked respondents to answer “yes” or “no” or “prefer not to say” to a series of questions.

More than 64 percent said their governments were not “doing enough to prevent a climate catastrophe”; more than 61 percent said they did not have trust in their government; and more than 58 percent said their governments were “betraying” them.  In the U.S., they are mostly female and white.

This state of protest in the consciousness of our youth, seeded and nurtured by fear of extinction of our species, and anger toward the government for not doing more to avert an existential crisis, ignores the fact that the government has little real control over the climate of the planet.  The climate of the earth and all the planets is largely controlled and determined by what’s happening with the Sun at the center of our solar system.  Earth is part of a unit and moves with what is moving within it—which for the past several years has been a gradual heating-up, bringing about climate changes on all the planets, severe storms and turbulences just like those here on Earth.

Our planet is not in jeopardy of extinction.  We are.  Not by climate change alone but by our own hand.  We’re poisoning our water, our air and our earth with our waste and industrial pollution. The fourth Creative Force, fire, cannot be polluted, and is at work cleansing and purifying the earth and its inhabitants.

THE OFFIIAL CHRISTIAN NARRATIVE

Returning to the ill-conceived cancellation of Jesus by the radical fundamentalists of his day—a cancellation that was echoed and repeated at the ecumenical Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325, a council of Christian bishops convened by Roman Emperor Constantine, in which Jesus’s message of the Kingdom of love was literally redacted and the official narrative of Christianity for the entire world established and published in the Nicaean Creed, a narrative recited at Sunday Services in the Christian world year ’round. The narrative Jesus brought and offered to the world hasn’t been successfully cancelled but continues to be offered by the Lord of lords and King of kings.  His Kingdom is the Kingdom of Heaven from which his Father, who is Love, seeds the sacred soil of Consciousness from which Mother God brings forth the fruits of the Tree of Life in the Garden of the Natural World and so-called “wild kingdoms,” even with a few faithful stewards on hand to tend and keep it.

The youth of today protest to the government for its lack of doing more about the “climate crisis.”  The truth is, WE are the government.  As youth choirs sing out these days, “We are the world.  We are the people.” It’s our job to set things to right here on Earth.  We are the designated keepers of Eden.

IT’S A WONDERFUL WORLD SEEDED BY LIFE

When was the last time you looked around and marveled at the beauty of Mother Nature’s wonderful world?  The wondrous works of the Creator, seeded from above by Father Sun, as the Native American Indians saw the world and honored the Earth and the Great Spirit whose world it is?  As I stated earlier, we must take great care for what seeds we sow in the garden of human consciousness.  Seeds of fear for what the climate prophets predict lies ahead for mankind and the planet invite that which we most fear to come upon us. The narratives we uphold and hold sacred in consciousness have the potential of doing more than simply defining what is thought to be going down in our world.  They have the seminal potential of determining what will transpire down the road, if not sooner.

“IT’S WHAT IT IS”

When I think deeper about it, why do we need a narrative at all?  About anything? Why, indeed?  A narrative is not needed to define what’s going on in the world. It’s plain to see. As the current popular quip puts it, “It’s what it is.”  The world is what it is . . . and how we’ve made it.  There’s a saying in the Bible “Unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.” The New World—the biblical “New Jerusalem”—comes down from God out of Heaven . . . “adorned as a bride for her husband” . . . all ready to be received and established on Earth.  That’s why we’re here.  The only reason why we were put here: to know the ordinances of Heaven and to set their dominion in the Earth.  Let us lift up our hearts unto Heaven and welcome the New Earth . . . even as we totter on an existential precipice “between the devil and the deep blue sea,” as the ancient saying goes.

I leave you with these timeless words in the form of a poem composed by a remarkable spiritual teacher, Lord Martin Exeter.  May they quicken the angelic spirit of love for the truth of life in you, my cherished reader and follower.

                            THUS IT IS

From age to age

      Love’s word rings forth,

“The truth is true and all is well,

                 Unconquerable life prevails.”

Oh, man, whose strident dreams

       Lead gravewards,

               Return to calm and noble

                       Character of life.

Blaze forth pure virtue;

        Depart false ambition’s restless schemes.

Busy thought and troubled feeling

Trespass not in virtue’s wise serenity

Where firm control and awful power

                      Eternally abide.

Here earth’s pains are healed

And cruel chaos of mind’s spawning

Is called again to order and to beauty.

Thus it is. Until my next post,

Be love.  Be loved.

Steps of Ascent 3: Our Return to Eden Underway

THROUGHOUT THE RECORDED HISTORY of man’s sojourn on Earth—and it has been a sojourn, a temporary visit to the lower planes of being—a pattern has been weaving itself around the theme of resurrection and ascension of the body of mankind from out of the depths of perdition and death and into the restored Edenic state of eternal life, not merely in some imagined hereafter but here and now while we have living, breathing flesh to bring it and to enjoy it. It seems evident, by the direction this civilization is headed, that our sojourn in these lower levels of mere existence is near completion. We are being awakened, if not by Spirit then by dire circumstance, to the necessity of ascending to a higher frequency and a more heavenly state of consciousness.  We are being invited to return to Eden.

We would not be strangers to Eden, however, for it has only been a few thousand years since we left the garden state.  We carry the memory of it all in our collective subconscious.  It is all being recalled to memory.  We also have available to us in the vibrational realm of  heaven the same divine technology of the Creative Process that was operative in Eden and throughout the biblical history of our sojourn through the “valley of the shadow of death.” This is the same divine alchemy that many of the great prophets, including Jesus, evoked and manifested in the many wonders of “miracles” which they wrought.  That technology is available to us today and the memory of it lies not too deeply buried within our collective memory.

I invite you to read the following excerpt from The Forgotten Books of Eden as edited by Rutherford H. Platt, Jr. and see what happens in your heart of hearts as you read. We mentioned Seth earlier, the son of Adam who replaced Abel (slain by Cain) and brought with him the seed from which sprang the lineage leading up to Abraham and ultimately to the birth of Jesus the proclaimed Messiah.  There is a description of Seth’s family in chapter eleven from the Second Book of Adam and Eve:

“But Seth and his children did not like earthly work, but gave themselves to heavenly things; for they had no other thought than praises, doxologies, and psalms unto God; and within the garden, or when they were sent by God on an errand, or when they were going up to heaven.

“For Seth and his children, by reason of their own purity, heard and saw those angels.  Then, again, the garden was not far above them, but only some fifteen spiritual cubits.  Now, one spiritual cubit answers to three cubits of man, altogether forty-five cubits.  Seth and his children dwelt on the mountain below the garden; they sowed not, neither did they reap; they wrought no food for the body, not even wheat; but only offerings. They ate of the fruit and of trees well flavored that grew on the mountain where they dwelt.

“Then Seth often fasted every forty days, as did also his eldest children.  For the family of Seth smelled the smell of the trees in the garden, when the wind blew that way.   They were happy, innocent, without sudden fear; there was no jealousy, no evil action, no hatred among them.  There was no animal passion; from no mouth among them went forth either foul words or curse; neither evil counsel nor fraud. . . .

“But they contained their children and their women every day in the cave to fast and pray, and to worship the Most High God.”

Earlier on in the First Book of Adam and Eve, the fourth and eighth chapters, we read these accountings of the changed conditions outside the garden of Eden:

“But Adam and Eve wept for having come out of the garden, their first abode.  And, indeed, when Adam looked at his flesh, that was altered, he wept bitterly, he and Eve, over what they had done. And they walked and went gently down into the Cave of Treasures.  And as they came to it Adam wept over himself and said to Eve, “Look at this cave that is to be our prison in this world, and a place of punishment!  What is it compared with the garden? What is its narrowness compared with the space of the other?  What is this rock by the side of those groves?  What is the gloom of this cavern, compared with the light of the garden?  What is this overhanging ledge of rock to shelter us, compared with the mercy of the Lord that overshadowed us?  What is the soil of this cave compared with the garden land?  This earth, strewed with stones; and that, planted with delicious fruit-trees?”  And Adam said to Eve, “Look at thine eyes, and at mine, which afore beheld angels in heaven, praising; and they, too, without ceasing. But now we do not see as we did: our eyes have become of flesh; they cannot see in like manner as they saw before.”  Adam said again to Eve, “What is our body today, compared to what it was in former days, when we dwelt in the garden?”

“. . . Then Adam wept and said, ‘O God, when we dwelt in the garden, and our hearts were lifted up, we saw the angels that sang praises in heaven, but now we do not see as we were used to do; nay, when we entered the cave, all creation became hidden from us.’

“Then God the Lord said unto Adam, ‘When thou wast under subjection to Me, thou hadst a bright nature within thee, and for that reason couldst thou see things afar off.  But after thy transgressions, thy bright nature was withdrawn from thee; and it was not left to thee to see things afar off, but only near at hand; after the ability of the flesh; for it is brutish. . . .'”

This account of life after Man’s exit from Eden is, of course, a mythical legend handed down through the Ancients.  However, it does serve as a reminder that life on earth the way we know it today has undergone drastic changes over the eons of time.  We have no record of how life was in the fabled Garden of Eden, nor after the legendary fall, except in myths such as this where the key players compare how things were in Eden to how they were after they left the garden, or were expelled as the story recounts.  We only have this sentence from Genesis that gives us a clue about the conditions then and speaks volumes about our state of consciousness before the fall:  “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” (Genesis 2:25)

We were given the promise of a fresh start in a new heaven and a new earth in St. John’s Book of Revelation:

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.  And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Thus it is and thus it shall be.  I welcome any thoughts you may wish to share. Until my next post,

be thankful.

Spirit of the New Earth, pg 10: Holy Mother Earth

“I was with you in the beginning, in the dawn of all that is holy, I bore you from the womb before the start of day.”

I will return to my consideration of the Vesica Pisces with my final post of this series next weekend.  Being Mothers Day, I will share this excerpt from SACRED ANATOMY featuring feminine deities in celebration of the return of the Divine Feminine to her rightful place alongside the Divine Masculine, co-creating life forms in the Garden of Paradise here on Mother Earth.

It is a peculiar aberration in human consciousness that has allowed women the world around, the very mothers of humanity without whom men could not even exist, to be minimalized and subjected to all sorts of abuse by the male of our species.  It hasn’t always been so.  Mother God has been very present to her living forms on Earth all down through the ages, albeit having to wait in the wings for her day to emerge and make her presence felt.  That day has come, and she will not be hushed or barred from full and equal participation in life with men.  Here is a bit of her history as a goddess in the world.

FEMININE DEITIES

We have meditated primarily on the biblical texts of John of Revelation, but there have also been visions of feminine deities. Saint Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179) also had an appreciation for the sacred nature of sex.  Anglo-Saxon writers A. T. Mann and Jane Lyle in their book Sacred Sexuality, published in 1995, describe a vision that Hildegard has during deep contemplation.  It was of a young girl who was like a goddess and whose radiance surpassed anything she had ever beheld. It was so dazzling that she could not look upon her.  Wearing a brilliant white cloak and gold shoes, she held the sun and moon in her right hand with loving care and bore the deep-blue image of a man on an ivory tablet on her breast.   Known to all of creation as “sovereign lady,” she spoke these words to the image on her breast: “I was with you in the beginning, in the dawn of all that is holy, I bore you from the womb before the start of day.”  Her name was Love.

Hildegard believed the whole earth could be made into a garden of love if men and women simply loved one another, thereby becoming divine themselves.  There would be nothing lacking in this love, for it would shine forth as a unified field of light as a result of complete union of both body and soul with God.   (The Templar Revelation, p. 162)

John of Revelation also had a vision of a feminine being in the heaven.

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered….“ (Rev 12)

There were other aspects of the vision that carry significance of their own.  There was the “great red dragon” which stood before the woman ready to devour her child as soon as it was born.  Then something remarkable happened when she brought forth her child, which was a man child who “was to rule all nations with a rod of iron….”  The child was “caught up unto God, and to his throne.”

In this metaphorical story I see the Divine Feminine travailing to give birth to the positive expression of Her own divinity on earth but forced to deliver it in the privacy and solitude of her own sacred space, knowing that it is acceptable in God’s heaven if not in man’s world.   This could be said of the full spectrum of her expression, spiritual, mental, emotional and sexual. So she has kept it all safe from the great red dragon—which could represent here the male-dominated world in which she lives her life, in quiet desperation much of the time.    As for me, I personally rejoice that the feminine has survived all that has been levied against her in the way of persecution and oppression on earth, and is yet available to the masculine that is beginning to understand her, for I love the feminine and all that she brings to the dance of life.

It is undeniably the feminine that has been responsible for holding something special over thousands of years with regard to the sacredness of her sexuality.   It is the male who has historically exploited her sexuality and raped her body and soul, along with the larger body of the Earth Goddess Gaia.  Now that many women have risen up and taken back their power and restored their personal sanctity and collective equality and autonomy as people in a patriarchal society, a major shift has occurred in the collective consciousness.  With career and temporal status still in focus for a majority of women, there is currently hardly anyone managing the home-fires and providing the space for family and intimacy. Thankfully, thousands are rediscovering both their sexuality and their nurturing capacity as being sacred and many strong and enlightened women are leading the way for both sexes in this exponentially expanding field of human endeavor to transcend tradition and live outside the box of what society expects of them.

Contemporary psychologist and teacher of advanced practices of sacred sexuality around the world, Margo Anand, comes to mind.  Author of the bestseller, The Art of Sexual Ecstasy and a tape series on the path to sexual bliss, The Art of Sexual Magic, has brought back the true context of sex as “the most sacred act of creation.”  She writes:

When two humans come together as lovers, they mirror the divine union…and connect directly with the energy of all life.  Thus, the energy of your sexuality is the source of the greatest ‘magic’ of all—the creation of life itself.

In her book she explores the meaning of Tantra, which means weaving, as a Hindu-Buddhist practice.

As the threads of life and love cross one another, Tantra teaches, they join in cosmic union. Within this absolute connection with the universe, your most profound yearnings become possible. This is sexual magic.  Using erotic rituals and specific meditations, Tantric lovers can alter their consciousness and channel the energy of orgasm for healing, ecstasy—even enlightenment.

One of the most powerful and prolific voices among contemporary women authors, earth-activist Starhawk, puts these words on the lips of Mother Nature, who is embodied in the Goddess Gaia, in Doreen Valiente’s poem Charge of the Star Goddess, which she adapted for use in her own work of summoning forth and quickening woman’s spirit:

Let My worship be in the heart that rejoices, for behold—all acts of love and pleasure are My rituals….  I have been with you from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.

Feminine deities have historically held sex as a sacred ritual. In the East, the Indian Tantra and the Chinese Taoism are the only two disciplines that hold sexuality as something sacred and transcendental. Here in the West, there has been a re-discovery of sacred sex. Sex is seen now by increasing numbers of spiritually awake men and women as the highest form of union with God at the physical level, a virtual erotic bridge between heaven and earth bringing a release of enormous creative energy, revitalizing lovers in unique ways, all the way down to their cells.

The entire art of sexual expression as a centerpiece in life is out of the closet and being explored with enthusiasm by people of all ages.  We all knew there was more to it than our forebears told us, but this allowed us to stumble into one of life’s most intriguing and most misunderstood secrets.  Increasingly the spiritual aspects of sexuality are being put ahead of the physical act of “making out” and “getting some.”  Sex is being elevated to the level of a sacred art of union with the divine and has become so much more enjoyable.  Shame around this natural function is eroding.  A picture of the little Buddha with a big smile on his face and hands reaching inside his gown and down grasping “nirvana” comes to mind as I write.  Indeed, can we not reach down and lift up unto heaven the earth of our temples with all of its sacred anatomy and physiology in sheer celebration of life and in delightful praise of our Creator?   Through such upliftment, would not the flesh be renewed by the Spirit of the New Earth?  ♥

I will complete this series on the Spirit of the New Earth Vibration with the next post. Until then, I wish all mothers a most Happy Mothers Day.  You’ve earned it.  Blessings upon you all.    — Anthony

“IMAGINE”

“Do not fear when the winds of adversity blow. Remember: the kite rises against the wind rather than with it.”

This saying was on a poster picture hanging on the wall of my doctor’s orthopedic clinic today.  There was no credit given, however its author might well have been the doctor himself, a very personable and encouraging individual with an optimistic outlook on life—on top of being a great surgeon. The saying itself is very applicable to our time of adversity where we fear for our lives in the face of a very aggressive virus sweeping the planet and harvesting souls in such an unprecedented and untimely manner—angels ascending on “Jacob’s ladder” without a pause. Hopefully, the vaccination will slow it down . . . and, if it follows the usual path viruses take, COVID-19 will run its two-year course before mutating to a less viral version, with or without a vaccine.  (See my HealthLight Newsletter for important information about the Covid-19 vaccine.)

As many are recognizing, we are on the threshold of a major reset in our way of living on the planet.  Radical change is being forced upon us by dire circumstances: this pandemic, climate change, violent shifts in weather patterns—hurricanes, snow storms, floods, droughts and wild fires.  On top of all that is the solar eclipse in Sagittarius on December 14. (Go to Pam Gregory for a complete astrological forecast.)

The reset underway, however, is not in a downward but rather an upward spiraling direction.  A new day has dawned.  A New Earth is unfolding out of the New Heaven descending upon human consciousness.  Another Golden Age is at hand.  Lift up your heads and face the winds of change and rise to greet the New Day!

IMAGING A DIFFERENT WORLD

Imagination is a mental activity.  Imaging, on the other hand, takes place in our consciousness.  My imaging lately is of an anticipatory nature.  I find myself imaging the kinds of changes we will undergo as “new norms” set in—especially in the way we buy and sell services and products.  With so many unemployed and lacking funds to feed their children, heat their homes and pay their rent, what are we going to do?  The only solution I can imagine is to circumvent our monetary system altogether and start giving to one another according to each one’s needs and means.  We CAN DO this, you know.

This I know from personal experience back along the way when I placed my healthcare services on a giving basis, as I related in the previous post. The following is the article I wrote about that pioneering event while attending an Ontology Training Class with my family in 1973 at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado.  (I was participating in a class “work pattern” at Sunrise Ranch when this picture was taken.  Even as I write this post, I am putting the finishing touches on our storm-damaged floors, the last item on our list of home repairs! Yea!).  Enjoy the read.

“HOW DO YOU LIVE, DOCTOR?”

This is a question that I find myself answering day after day in my chiropractic office. It comes as a spontaneous reaction to my answer to a previous question, that inevitable question that tends to crash through the air during a heart-to-heart conference with the patient: “And how much will all this cost me. Doctor?” Of course it is interestingly worded in many different and revealing ways, like: “What will the damages be?” and “How much will this set me back?” or “And what are we talking about … ?” (“In terms of cost” is implied here but for some strange reason fearfully avoided.)

My answer depends somewhat on which way the crucial question is phrased, but always leads to a basic presentation of our Cooperative Fee System: “There are no charges, as such, for our services. Our patients give each according to their individual means for our service, which is given freely. You also may participate with us in this program.” (This is basically the “GPC Service Principle” which was initiated by Dr. George Shears some thirty years ago and which has become the basis of service for many chiropractors across the continent. The initials stand for: God-Patient-Chiropractor.)

The reaction to this different approach has overtones of mystification. The immediate interpretation of it usually implies that the good doctor is either participating in some government sponsored research program, or is independently wealthy.  If neither of these, then he is certainly a generous Christian man, but he doesn’t know how dishonest people are—and how can he survive if he doesn’t ask a fee for his services! So the question forthrightly pops up: “Well, how do you live, Doctor?”

I always appreciate this benevolent concern for the doctor’s welfare as well as the patient’s lack of immediate comprehension of the full implications in my answer to his simple question. After all, his mind is geared to receive dollars and cents signs and I give it the cosmic creative principle of Giving and Receiving. Nevertheless, it is interesting to see this underlying error in human thinking: that health, and therefore life, is a matter of dollars and cents.  On one occasion, a gentleman who simply could not wrap his brain around this principle, vehemently insisted I charge a fee for his care.  When I refused to back down, he got up and walked out of my office.  I felt compassion for him, understanding well the challenge I had placed before him.

Being aware of this disproportion in human minds, mainly because I’ve dealt with it in my own, I’ve learned to look beyond it and to see a sincere innate curiosity in the patient’s question—-an inner knowingness, latent perhaps but very real, that there must be a right way of doing things in all facets of our living. So I address myself to this truth in them and gladly oblige to let them fill this void in their hearts with a true response to a genuine offer.  These moments always lead to a most warm and relaxing conversation and exchange of honest feelings. As far as I am concerned, the healing processes go into action here in these relaxed moments of agreement and insight.

One day, as I was explaining to a new patient how this approach allowed me to be free to do whatever might be needed and right for the patient’s return to health without being limited by a set price on my services, he was so taken with delightful surprise that he burst out laughing. I asked him what it was that amused him so. He replied, “Well, to be honest, I was not sure at first that I was hearing correctly. I thought I was the oddball in my thinking about service and money. This has been my exact attitude for years. When I service an engine, my mechanics are constantly encouraged to work on the basis of integrity and honesty, and we do the job right or else the customer doesn’t pay for it until it is right. And you know, that’s the only way to operate a business successfully. Just be honest and open with your customers and take pride in doing the job right, just for the sake of doing it right and preferably the first go at it.”

Well, as you can imagine, I was thrilled to meet such a man and I’ll always remember the intense feeling of agreement we shared together in those few moments and the subsequent rapport that even now continues to grow between us. I think it was then that I stopped trying to measure the immeasurable rewards of true and noble service.

Integrity, honesty, nobility, kindness–when demonstrated openly, these qualities of man’s true nature always engender the same character in those with whom we have our daily transactions. And I think we need to deliberately put this to practice in our every moment and aspect of life by beginning to be perceptive and sensitive enough to see the rightness in others. Even if others do resist giving it forth in their expression themselves, we know that it’s there in them because we know it is true in us. So we can learn to really serve by giving one another an opportunity to release our inherent sense of rightness–addressing ourselves to that in one another and trusting that we will touch what’s right and beautiful. We can learn to be patient in this and masters in the art of true living. This IS the real business at hand for all men and women of Earth in these
momentous times.♥

ABOUT THOSE “LOAVES AND FISHES”

In my gut feeling, the “miracle of the loves and fishes” was about sharing and not about multiplying.  The biblical story portrays the Teacher manifesting food for the crowd.  I rather believe that when the people saw His disciples sharing their bread and fishes with others, those who had brought food with them began sharing it with those who had not.  Thus the crowd was fed, and there were even leftovers.  That, to me, was the real message of the story—a story about the abundance of provision in the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.  Wealth is to be shared around and not hoarded.

“IMAGINE”

Attunement colleagues and friends reminded me today that this year marks 40 years since John Lennon left this earthly sphere after being gunned down.  I leave you, then, with the lyrics of his legendary signature song, IMAGINE.

As I look back to the 1980’s, we had just completed a fourteen year cycle practicing our profession on the GPC no-fee system. I say “we” because I was joined by two other colleagues seven years later when I moved my practice to Baton Rouge, Louisiana from Denham Springs.  So, we were unknowingly modeling a way of serving and living as John Lennon imagined it could be.  I suppose we were dreamers as well—and I’m still dreaming, imaging a New Earth.  Enjoy the lyrics.

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us, only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Dreams do come true, and images do materialize in season. I think this is their season, John Lennon. Thank you for dreaming.

I welcome any thoughts readers wish to share. Drop me a line or two at my email address. Until my next post,
Be love. Be loved. And be for-giving.

Getting Back to Eden, part 4: The Process of Transformation

“In my father’s house there are many mansions.” — Jesus

The passage above from the Gospel of John (14:2-4) has been a light of hope to many. The Aramaic text may be more likely what Jesus said speaking the language of the people:

“There are many lodgings in my Father’s house, and if not, I would have told you, because I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I shall come again and bring you to join me, that where I am you shall be also.  And where I am going, you know, and you know the way.”

The Teacher had a great love for his disciples, whom he called friends, and desired nothing more than that they should come to know what he knew and experience what he was experiencing.  I note that he said where I am” and not where I will be. He was on Earth in clear view of his disciples speaking with them days after his ordeal with death followed by his resurrection from the tomb, obviously in a transformed body—and I don’t think he was messing with their minds, telling them something that was not possible. As we have come to know over the millennia, transformation is possible and doable, here and now, and the “way,” as he had taken great pains to show them and all of mankind, is unconditional love: “I have only one command: that ye love one another as I have loved you.” And he loved those who came to his light just the way they presented themselves.

He had obviously ascended to a higher mansion in his father’s house, and they were yet feeling their way around on the ground floor trying to make sense of all that had just transpired so violently and unexpectedly, along with the changes they were feeling in their energetic fields just being in their Master’s presence those few years before he “ascended into heaven.” There is much teaching in this story.

The Many Mansions

We move from lower to higher levels of Being as we go through transformation, each level having its own energetic frequency—a transformed or stepped-down frequency of the ONE TONE of LOVE at the highest level of oneness with the Divine. There are those “ascended masters” who have reached that level during their incarnation, never to return again to the physical plane. All of us reincarnate until we learn to master each and every level of consciousness and are ready to ascend—and we cannot ascend from one level to the next without letting go of those coarse elements in the fabric of our outer being that are energized and maintained by the frequency of love specific to the level where we find ourselves—elements that cannot exist in a higher plane and frequency.

A friend, former associate, and colleague in the healing field, Dr. Lawrence Bakur, posted this view and perspective of the current human state on Facebook a few days ago.

“There are many vibratory dimensions to this world, as well as the worlds of spirit, and each dimension is home to a specific level of love that we each individually carry in our souls. Those with a lower frequency of love cannot live in the higher dimensions as it would “fry their circuits” so to speak.

“I have witnessed this on many occasions when those whose soul condition is one of service-to-self rather than service-to-others are in the presence of a higher love; they tend to go a bit crazy, which can manifest in childish rebelliousness or in extreme cases, anger and violence. What is happening is that the fire of love is confronting the emotional damage of their souls and in a sense they are writhing in pain to the extent that they resist. Of course, this Love can also free their souls and lift them up if they so choose.

“This is what I see taking place in the world today. There truly is a spiritual battle happening between the forces of light and the forces of darkness that fear being brought into the light. In fact, they are kicking and screaming, plotting and planning to maintain their power even as they are in the process of being left behind, depending on their choices.

“I’m reminded of the words of Moses to the Israelites who were caught between Pharaoh and the Red Sea: “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.” Not that we simply sit back and relax. No, there may be many things to be done. But we can rest in the knowing that the victory is at hand. Why? Because Love conquers all and is absolutely unstoppable. In my own awareness of what’s happening on the planet, it’s picking up speed and those that fight it will not succeed. The Red Sea will part once more.”

And the miracle of salvation occurs by being at the right place at the right time when the sea of consciousness parts to reveal the Way across the threshold to a higher ground of being, a new and freeing perspective. In a word, a higher level of consciousness—a “new heaven.”

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow or crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” (Rev. 21:1-4)

The “holy city” and “new Jerusalem” symbolize the purified and sanctified state of human consciousness, absorbed into and reunited with Divine Consciousness in the final phase of the Restoration, at which point there will be “no more sea” of separate and isolated human consciousness, but only the dry land of a New Earth emerging from the Unified Field of Consciousness awaiting our care and stewardship.

I love how Lawrence articulates the essences-of-the-Moment in the transformation process of the Body of Man as we enter a particularly intense culminating phase in the cycles of the Restoration of Man to God.

In those five words is defined the underlying meaning and purpose of human life on Earth down through the ages since the Fall of Man from his position in Eden as the “conveyor of spirit to earth” and administrator of creation, as my poet friend Don Hynes wrote in a recent comment on my last post:

“I would only add that man restored is to God, becoming the conveyor of Spirit to the earth. Stewardship describes behavior but this time of revelation is calling for the return of the real meal deal!  The fall could be described as spiritual man falling into the creation. Divine man was to administer the creation, not be subject to it. Without the return to that position good works in the earth won’t matter, despite the good intentions.  I’m trying to elevate the position of Spiritual man without denigrating earth stewardship or the good works Richard (Heinberg) outlines.”

A Lesson in Mastery

Lawrence’s words bring up a memorable incident from my earlier years of attending professional workshops and seminars. I recall an encounter I had with my spiritual mentor at a time when he was apparently in the process of coming forth, just weeks before he made his transition from this earthly plane. I had just arrived to attend one of his symposiums when I met up with him and extended my hand to greet him.  He had already seen me approaching and, as he always did, was looking through my eyes into my heart, which was full of love for him and eagerness to hear him speak again.  As I approached and entered his immediate atmosphere, I was stopped by what seemed to be an invisible wall.  His dense, refined spiritual substance had completely enveloped his body, forming a protective shield around him.  I think he saw what was happening and lowered his frequency so that he could receive me just as I was.

For me it was a lesson in true mastery: meeting people at the level where the are in their journey, uncon-ditionally and without judgement, and not requiring them to meet me where I am.  It was also an exemplary reminder not to shine my light into the eyes of others but rather to shine it on the path to light the Way of transformation. He was a true master and beloved friend, the kind of teacher that appears when the student is ready. And apparently I was ready for enlightenment.

This has been a fruitful meditation for me, as I trust it has been for you. Until my next post in this series, in which I will share another excerpt from Richard Heinberg’s MEMORIES AND VISIONS OF PARADISE,

Be love. Be loved.

Getting Back to Paradise, part 3: The New Paradisal Culture

Our Home among the stars¹

“Paradise exists in the eternal present as an image expressing our deepest sense of what is right and true about ourselves.”

According to a recent pulse taken, only about 7% of us want things to go back to “normal.” The thing is, the state of the world was anything but normal before this pandemic.  What we all long for, I believe, consciously or unconsciously, is to return Home, to return to the Garden of Paradise.

Richard Heinberg envisions our return to the Garden not as going back to Eden as it was in the beginning of Creation, but going forward to a totally New Heaven and a totally New Earth with a totally new culture seeded and born out of a renewed and transformed consciousness.  I think you will enjoy sharing his vision in this excerpt from Chapter 12 of MEMORIES and VISIONS of PARADISE.

THE NEW CULTURE

Christian fundamentalists believe that apocalypse is inevitable. Social activists and utopians, on the other hand, believe that we can avoid Armageddon by making a gradual and peaceful transition away from the attitudes and assumptions of modern industrial civilization and toward a regenerative, peaceful way of life. According to the latter view, apocalypse will come only if we refuse to work, consciously and collectively, toward the constructive reform of our present institutions.

But whether humanity is headed toward peaceful transition or apocalyptic purification, the course of action for those who are committed to a paradisal outcome is the same: to deliberately begin to plant the seeds of a new culture based on universal spiritual values. A peaceful transition may be preferable to humanly engineered cataclysm, but it can only come about as the result of changes in the attitudes and actions of individuals. However, if a period of global purification is somehow inevitable, the mass of humanity will require models of wholeness and stability toward which to orient as upheavals occur, if there is to be anything to build upon after the period of purification is over.

As Marilyn Ferguson, Willis Harman, and other keen observers of social trends have been telling us for the past decade, the seeds of a new culture are already appearing.  This new culture is not the plan of any specific human organization or agency, but rather is arising spontaneously in a thousand unpredictable ways through the efforts of people who in most instances have no idea of the interconnectedness — much less of the mythic or archetypal implications — of their actions.

One such seed is represented in widespread and increasing interest in ecology and environmentalism. While many people’s concern for environmental issues may be motivated simply by self-interest — the desire to escape disaster — the contemplation of the interrelatedness of Nature’s systems seems inevitably to trigger radically new views of our proper relationship with the rest of the biosphere.

As we become aware of the implications of the basic principles of ecology, inherited attitudes of exploitation tend to give way to attitudes of cooperation and stewardship. Ultimately, people who embrace environmentalism seem to be drawn back to the ancient view that the Earth is not here merely to satisfy human needs and desires; rather, that we human beings are here to nourish and steward the Earth.

Another portent of the kind of creative change that might lead to the emergence of a new paradisal culture is a burgeoning interest in native religions and comparative mythology. The word religion itself comes from the Latin religare, meaning “to bind back.” Religion has always been humanity’s way of seeking to recover something that has been lost. It is the expression of a universal yearning for a state of innocence and completeness — a state projected into the past, the future, or another dimension of existence, but nonetheless always felt to be real and innate, though somehow removed from our ordinary experience.

The object of religion is always the recovery of the divine presence and the return of the miraculous world of Paradise. The new spiritual revival of the past two decades seems to be directed toward the very essence of the religious experience. While drawing upon existing Native American, mystical Christian, Sufi, and Buddhist traditions (among others), its ultimate goal is a resurgence of the spirit from which all systems of revelation derive their meaning.

The kinds of fundamental changes in values and attitudes that we are considering tend to occur first in the details of people’s lives, and are only later reflected in public policy. In their most intimate relationships, for example, many people are discovering what it is to move from a dominant/submissive mode based on need and fear toward one of partnership based on a shared sense of higher purpose.

In their worldly vocations, people are finding that old values and motives centered on economic necessity and the competitive drive are stressful and unfulfilling. As the innate desire to uplift, bless, and nourish gains prominence, many people are changing careers, often trading a larger salary for a more satisfying means of contributing to the lives of others.

For some, this change of values is subtle; for others, the paradisal quest becomes an all-embracing passion. As noted in an earlier chapter, thousands of utopian communities have been founded during the last twenty years, particularly in North America. Many of these communities are virtual green-houses for the germination of the seeds of the new culture, fostering pioneering lifestyles based on ecological awareness, new patterns of relationships, and new ways of revealing and acknowledging the sacred. Such communities provide a means of exploring change through the total commitment of the time and resources of the people involved.

Ultimately, however, any individual action or social movement that furthers the values of oneness, peace, and respect for natural processes represents a seed of the new culture.  As yet, we probably cannot know in any detail what the new culture will look like when and if the transition has been made. Certainly, it will not be an exact reproduction of the original earthly Paradise.

Regardless of whether our sojourn into egocentric consciousness was necessary to our evolution or merely a tragic error, we have learned a powerful lesson from the experience. We may return to innocence, but it will not be the same innocence we would have known had the Fall never occurred.

Neither can we accurately predict the nature of the new culture merely by extrapolating present trends: the developments we have just considered may be leading in the direction of a renewed paradisal state, but they are as yet mere seeds. By any standard, the magnitude of the transformation required in order for humanity as a whole to return to an integrated, regenerative mode of being is immense. We have barely begun the process.

Realizing Paradise

Paradoxically, while the transition to the new culture is a project of vast proportions, it is likely to be accomplished only through changes in the attitudes and values of individual men and women — changes that may be virtually invisible to society as a whole. How, then, can you and I actually go about making these changes in our outlooks and behavior so as to realize Paradise in our own lives here and now, and thereby contribute to the creation of the new culture?

Civilization is built of compromises and trade-offs. Daily, we compromise integrity, intimacy, empathy, and honesty for a thousand seemingly worthwhile reasons, and we feel supported in doing so by the example and encouragement of others.

We have made our lives complex and abstract. We seem to live to serve our laborsaving devices. Many of us are willing to trade a large proportion of our waking hours to work at what may be intrinsically meaningless jobs in return for economic power. At some point we must ask whether all these trade-offs are really justifiable.

Returning to Paradise requires that we examine our lives honestly, and, when we find ourselves acting in ways that contradict our deepest values, that we change direction — not going backward toward some mythic past, but moving inward toward our highest vision of love and truth.

We must be willing to withdraw from participation in the mechanisms of the human world as it is as we learn to simplify, sanctify, and celebrate every aspect of life.

We see this happening the world over today.  People simplifying their lifestyles, meditating and setting up altars in their homes to sanctify their consciousness, celebrating life in all its wonders.  In the midst of all this pandemic turmoil, angels are coming forth through human hearts and shining the Light of Love in the world darkened by fear and uncertainty, and threatened by environmental and economic collapse.  The old is passing away as the new is being born.

As I sat out with my wife in our paradisal back yard this evening, I felt a powerful wave of profound peace move through my body and across the entire globe.  I feel it even now as I write. Something of cosmic proportion is happening in our solar Entity, in the Earth and in the body of Humanity.  It’s a good time to be alive and awake on the planet.  Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.
