Transmutation of the Elements of Matter, part 1

God is the Light of Mind. God’s thinking Mind is all there is. Mind is universal. Mind of God and Mind of man are ONE. —Walter Russell

* * *

NOTHING IS AS IT SEEMS—or so it seems. The world of form around us is said to be an illusion and that which appears solid is in a state of flux and constant motion. The very elements that comprise the material world from which our bodies arise are constantly undergoing transmutation. I had a visual experience of the liquid nature of the world many years ago as I was in a deep meditative trance during an attunement session. I went into an altered state of consciousness. When I opened my eyes and looked around the room, the carpet in the room appeared to be alive and crawling with ants, as were the walls and furniture. This alteration of consciousness lasted for only a few moments as I came out of my trance. Nothing is as it seems.

THIS ELECTRICAL WORLD OF EFFECTS

We do perceive our world to be solid and hard as we bump up against things. I’ve come to understand this to be nothing more than our body’s electrical charge being repelled by the negative electrical charge of the electrons spinning around inside the atoms that make up the molecular structure of the material world—or so the current scenario of the structure of the atom goes, a scenario that’s being challenged by scientists, including Dr. Walter Russell, whose revolutionary concepts of the the universe of matter have piqued the interests of leading-edge scientists and some of those thinkers involved in the science and consciousness movement. His published work has seamlessly interwoven science and spirituality.

By negative I do not mean pessimistic or destructive. I’m referring to electrical positive charge and negative discharge, noting that this is a discharge of electrical current and not the neutral grounding principle of the electrical circuitry in the wiring of your house where a “hot wire” carrying a positive current of electricity discharges its power via a neutral “grounding” wire that, with the flip of a switch, lights up the room or powers a motor. That’s not an example of positive and negative electricity. That’s an example of a positive charge discharging its power into the neutral and receptive ground, as in the case of lightning and thunder bolts.

This is dramatically demonstrated—sometimes painfully and fatally so—when someone who is grounded grabs a “hot” wire with the palm of his hand, the positive side of the hand. The hand tightens around the wire and it is nearly impossible to pull it away. If, however, one brushes up against the hot wire with the back side of one’s hand, the negative side, the hand is repelled. The positive electrical charge is a magnet to the positive side of the hand and repels the negative side.

A WINDING AND UNWINDING UNIVERSE

According to Russell’s inspired vision of this electric universe, a negative charge repels both negative and positive charges, simply based on its unwinding centrifugal force of radiation outward from its vortex apex of positive magnetic centripetal contraction—the latter inhaling and compressing energy and the former exhaling and decompressing the energy of bifurcated Light. (See diagram above)

Undivided Light is the stable fulcrum of this energetic leveraging dynamic. It’s also the still and immovable point of control for this rhythmic heartbeat of the Cosmos. The Earth and all the planets are attracted to and repelled from the Sun simultaneously. Light is the still point of rest and origination for all of Creation.

The radiant magnetic presence of the sun is always available to the orbiting planets, whose lesser potentials attracts them to the greater potential of the sun even as their negatively charged bodies repel them from the sun, thereby keeping them in a creative proximity to the sun and to one another, and in a state of equilibrium. I suspect there’s a lot more science and physics at work involving the atmosphere, ionosphere and the Van Allan Radiation Belts of charged particles that shield the Earth from powerful solar winds.

In the Divine Design of Creation, the Light of Love shines radiantly into the darkness upon the face of the deep of space and shapes hallowed space . . . and continues to sanctify and reshape unhallowed space by means of Love’s purifying fire. Man’s role in this creative dynamic is to respond to the radiance of Love and to be drawn by its magnetic power to participate in Creation.

Let me share something with you that has enlightened my understanding of this illusory universe of matter—illusory only in that we cannot see the whole picture, which includes the invisible vibrational essences, with our physical and mental faculties. We can only discern them at the higher level of perception our hearts afford. Spiritual or vibrational things are spiritually or vibrationally discerned.

The mind’s netlike substance can only snare the larger thought patterns; the smaller essences slip right through its net. With the finer substance of our hearts we understand the fine essences of spirit. If we were to see the whole picture, we would see the continuum of differentiated energy and understand the vibratory nature of the material world. We would not then be fooled by the illusion of its seeming stability. Because it is in constant motion at the molecular level, it is quite susceptible to change—sudden change, as cataclysms, earthquakes, tornadoes and hurricanes demonstrate. As part of a vibrational continuum of consciousness—the heaven and the earth being one inseparable whole—a change in the upper realms affects change in the lower realms.

SEEING WITH THE HEART

Science and physics observe the Universe of matter using mental and physical modes of observation. They then draw conclusions based on what they observe in laboratories and develop theories about the construction of the physical world based on those very limited observations of appearances. After all, physics is a physical science, and scientific research is largely a mental exercise. What scientists and physicists cannot see and observe is the invisible vibrational reality behind the physical world of matter that gives it it’s properties and characteristics, along with its activities and movements—and how is all fits together into One Universal Whole.

That word alone (Uni-verse) means to turn as One around a stable fulcrum point of balancing Power which has position but no magnitude. Here in the Western hemisphere, we use the words God, the One and Creator or Great Spirit to speak of this unspeakable and ineffable nameless ONE. In Eastern religious sects, words such as Allah, Elohim, Yahwey, Purusha and a host of other names are used. Walter Russell uses the word “MIND” in his writings . . . and this brings me to something I wish to say about the human mind in the context of reading and studying the works of geniuses, such as Walter Russell was in his productive and creative life of service to the ONE.

The human mind is sometimes intimidated by complex intellectual considerations. Our minds are wonderful instruments for refocusing the Light of Truth that allows us to comprehend and navigate the many and various features and aspects of the physical material world of effects. Opened upwards, we are able to discern the invisible vibrational essences in the realm of Cause with the heart, for it is in our hearts, as we considered above, where spiritual and vibrational factors of Reality and Cause are understood. It has been demonstrated that there are a considerable number of “brain cells” in the physical heart. The popular saying “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he” speaks to this truth.

COMPREHENDING GENIUS

When I first opened Walter Russell’s book, THE UNIVERSAL ONE, several years ago, I was utterly at a loss mentally at comprehending what I was reading. I only started reading because of the headings of the chapters, which piqued my interest a great deal, for I have always been curious when it came to understanding what makes things what they are and by what force they are moved about. So I stayed with him “through thick and thin” as we say; through page after page and chapter after chapter. Suddenly, as if by some spontaneous shift in my faculty for understanding, I began reading his thought processes. I tapped into his mind, and I believe into the MIND of God, dare I say, whence Russell’s thoughts and words appeared to be arising and falling on the pages.

Once I began flowing with the current weaving through his uniquely poetic style of writing and expressing his understanding of the secrets of the Universe, I began to actually enjoy his writings. My next desire was to share some of his wisdom and insights with others through my blogs—which immediately presented a challenge. I suspect there are not very many of my followers who are interested in comprehending the secrets of the Universe, or the genius of Walter Russell . . . and I do appreciate that. Yet, I venture forward into the challenging endeavor of sharing what I find exciting and inspiring in this Universe of creating forces.

So I would encourage you to read the excerpts from Russell’s work more with your heart than with your mind in order to sense the current of his thinking. If you show interest in the topic, then you will begin to understand his thinking. Simply focus on the words and re-read challenging sentences. But also allow your heart to be involved in discerning his spirit and passion for revealing and sharing with his colleagues and the world what he has been allowed to “see” during his thirty-nine-day illumination period in 1921. His mind was a luciferous bearer of insight into the Reality behind the Universe during his creative life’s journey of 92 years (1871-1963). Of this I am convinced. So I will proceed with this introduction to a new series of blog posts under the heading “Transmutation of the Elements of Matter.”

WE APPEAR AND THEN WE DISAPPEAR

We appear at birth into this material world of elemental forms. During the first thirty-five or forty years we grow our physical bodies, educate our minds to function intelligently in this world, and ideally mature emotionally and spiritually in order to navigate the vibrational terrain of life. . . all of it the accomplishments of the achieving centripetal flow of positive masculine energy, the magnetic force that draws form together.

If and as we transcend physical reality to embrace the world of Spirit and live our creative lives of about forty or fifty years out of a spiritual consciousness and awareness of our divine identity and authentic Self, we bring forth the unique gifts of our life’s work. In the end of our life cycle, and by way of the expenditure of energy we put forth—a responsive function of our negative feminine energy—we dismantle our physical forms and then simply disappear back from whence we appeared. As Shakespeare put it in poetic verse: “Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.”

We refer to this end-phase of life as the “golden years” because the golden glow of youthful and childlike radiance returns with the centrifugal unwinding of our life energy as the light of the angel yet incarnate begins to shine through the thinning veil of the opaque heart and facial countenance.

I am reminded of two of my ageing attunement mentors. Dr. George Shears, whose countenance shown with light as his form seemingly faded thin weeks before making his transition and final transmutation back to pure spirit. It was a wonderful experience and privilege to abide in the shadow of his light during our almost daily attunement sessions while attending a three-month Art of Living class at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado, where he lived out his final days of service here on Earth. Sometimes his hand rested on my chest as he fell asleep. I loved him very much, as I did his nephew, Dr. William Bahan, “Bill” as we called him, my professional mentor, whose personal field of radiance was at times a palpable hedge extending several feet around his body toward the latter days of his presence on earth, considerably dense as I approached to shake his hand on one occasion. I looked up into his welcoming and un-filtering eyes as I entered his protective hedge without resistance, as I know there was much in my personal field that yet needed purification and clarification.

The world of energy is fascinating but exacting to navigate. As the saying goes, “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.” The terrain of the elemental earth is alive with movement. Men are wasteful in their ignorance of this as they impose their destructive machinery tearing into the mountains for minerals and the sacred earth for fuel. There is an easier and less destructive way that remains hidden from the eyes of the foolish. I will continue exploring this alchemical way of the Transmutation of the Elements of Matter in my next few posts. I welcome any thoughts and insights you may wish to share. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

Setting the Ordinance of Heaven in the Earth (Reposted)

As Above So Below

“Let Love Command. Let wonders form. Let heaven’s beauty shine.”

I WILL CONTINUE from where I left off in the previous post in this series on “BiocentrismHow Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding the True Nature of the Universe.”  I am sharing excerpts from Dr. Robert Lanza and Bob Berman’s consciousness-expanding book by the same title and subtitle.  Dr. Lanza, a “genius” and “renegade thinker,” according to U.S. News & World Report, who likened him to Einstein, is one of the world’s most respected scientists; and Berman is lauded as one of the best-known astronomers in the world.  I’ll dive right into this post with these excerpts:

ENTANGLED PARTICLES OR “TWINS”

Now, because quantum theory tells us that everything in nature has a particle nature and a wave nature, and that the object’s behavior exists only as probabilities, no small object actually assumes a particular place or motion until its wave-function collapses. What accomplishes this collapse? Messing with it in any way. Hitting it with a bit of light in order to “take its picture” would instantly do the job. But it became increasingly clear that any possible way the experimenter could take a look at the object would collapse the wave-function. At first, this look was assumed to be the need to, say, shoot a photon at an electron in order to measure where it is, and the realization that the resulting interaction between the two would naturally collapse the wave-function. In a sense, the experiment had been contaminated. But as more sophisticated experiments were devised, . . . it became obvious that mere knowledge in the experimenter’s mind is sufficient to cause the wave-function to collapse.

That was freaky, but it got worse. When entangled particles are created, the pair share a wave-function. When one member’s wavefunction collapses, so will the other’s — even if they are separated by the width of the universe. This means that if one particle is observed to have an “up spin,” the other instantly goes from being a mere probability wave to an actual particle with the opposite spin. They are intimately linked, and in a way that acts as if there’s no space between them, and no time influencing their behavior.

Experiments from 1997 to 2007 have shown that this is indeed the case, as if tiny objects created together are endowed with a kind of ESP. If a particle is observed to make a random choice to go one way instead of another, its twin will always exhibit the same behavior (actually the complementary action) at the same moment—even if the pair are widely separated. . . .

Although predicted by quantum mechanics, the results continue to astonish even the very physicists doing the experiments. It substantiates the startling theory that an entangled twin should instantly echo the action or state of the other, even if separated by any distance whatsoever, no matter how great . . . . [the momentous adjective here is instantly.]

In a paper published in Nature by a team of researchers from the National Institute of Standards and Technology led by Dr. David Wineland, entangled pairs of beryllium ions and a high-efficiency detector proved that, yes, each really does simultaneously echo the actions of its twin.

Few believe that some new, unknown force or interaction is being transmitted with zero travel time from one particle to its twin. Rather, Wineland told one of the authors, “There is some spooky action at a distance.” Of course, he knew that this is no explanation at all.

AS IN HEAVEN SO ON EARTH

THERE ARE PROFOUND IMPLICATIONS in this phenomenon of “entangled” or “twin” particles, one being that we are not on this earth alone.  We each have a twin in a parallel universe, only not of the hypothesized multiple “parallel universes.”  The parallel universe I’m referring to is a heavenly universe, which in reality is half of a duality rather than a parallel.  Heaven-and-Earth is a duality. That twin in the heavenly half is who I really am. The other twin here in this earthly half is my human capacity for incarnating on this planet.  It even bears a name, as my twin does.  My ancestral name is Palumbo, which in Italian means dove or messenger pigeon (the u was later closed to form an o).  I am a messenger, as we all are: messengers from Heaven to bring the Light of Love and Truth to Earth to create Life.  In our true identity, we are emissaries of Heaven’s Light.  We dwell in the heavenly realm of Light as angels and we each have our analogous twin in the earth.

You may see where I am going with this analogous dichotomy of seeming contradictory characteristics, the one being of a spiritual nature and the other being of a physical nature.  They are rather more complementary than contradictory, a true duality: Human Being. The One manifests the other, and the other was manifested to reveal the qualities and virtues of the One.

Now the spiritual twin is by nature always attuned to the frequency of love, is love, and moves about in the invisible realm of Heaven in harmony with all other heavenly beings.  When the earthly physical twin is attuned to the same frequency of love, it mirrors perfectly the qualities and movements of its heavenly twin.  They behave as one, which they are. When two substances vibrate at the same frequency, by resonance they fuse together as one.

Continuing in this chapter:

THE INEFFABLE WORLD OF “QUANTUM WEIRDNESS”

Dubbed quantum weirdness, this wave-particle duality has befuddled scientists for decades. Some of the greatest physicists have described it as impossible to intuit, impossible to formulate into words, impossible to visualize, and as invalidating common sense and ordinary perception. Science has essentially conceded that quantum physics is incomprehensible outside of complex mathematics. How can quantum physics be so impervious to metaphor, visualization, and language?

Amazingly, if we accept a life-created reality at face value, it all becomes simple and straightforward to understand. The key question is “waves of what?” Back in 1926, German physicist Max Born demonstrated that quantum waves are waves of probability, not waves of material, as his colleague Schrodinger had theorized. They are statistical predictions. Thus, a wave of probability is nothing but a likely outcome. In fact, outside of that idea, the wave is not there! It’s intangible. As Nobel physicist John Wheeler once said, “No phenomenon is a real phenomenon until it is an observed phenomenon.”

Note that we are talking about discrete objects like photons or electrons, rather than collections of myriad objects, such as, say, a train. Obviously, we can get a schedule and arrive to pick up a friend at a station and be fairly confident that his train actually existed during our absence, even if we did not personally observe it. (One reason for this is that as the considered object gets bigger, its wavelength gets smaller. Once we get into the macroscopic realm, the waves are too close together to be noticed or measured. They are still there, however.)

With small discrete particles, however, if they are not being observed, they cannot be thought of as having any real existence – either duration or a position in space. Until the mind sets the scaffolding of an object in place, until it actually lays down the threads (somewhere in the haze of probabilities that represent the object’s range of possible values), it cannot be thought of as being either here or there. Thus, quantum waves merely define the potential location a particle can occupy. When a scientist observes a particle, it will be found within the statistical probability for that event to occur. That’s what the wave defines. A wave of probability isn’t an event or a phenomenon, it is a description of the likelihood of an event or phenomenon occurring. Nothing happens until the event is actually observed.

This chapter ends on a note of promise and optimism:

At present, the implications of these experiments are conveniently downplayed in the public mind because, until recently, quantum behavior was limited to the microscopic world. However, this has no basis in reason, and more importantly, it is starting to be challenged in laboratories around the world. New experiments carried out with huge molecules called buckyballs show that quantum reality extends into the macroscopic world we live in. In 2005, KHC03 crystals exhibited quantum entanglement ridges one-half inch high—visible signs of behavior nudging into everyday levels of discernment. In fact, an exciting new experiment has just been proposed (so-called scaled-up superposition) that would furnish the most powerful evidence to date that the biocentric view of the world is correct at the level of living organisms.

To which we would say — of course.

And so we add a third principle of Biocentrism: The behavior of subatomic particles—indeed all particles and objects—is inextricably linked to the presence of an observer. Without the presence of a conscious observer, they at best exist in an undetermined state of probability waves.

SETTING THE DOMINION OF HEAVENLY ORDINANCES IN THE EARTH

I’m drawn back to those haunting questions in the 38th chapter of the Book of Job: “Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?” And the preceding one: “Can’t thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season, or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?” And the one before that: “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?” These challenges all have something to do with the stars and constellations, the Zodiac and the Science of Mazzaroth, the feminine and the masculine energies, and with Arcturus the Great Red Giant and father of stars.  This question particularly piques my interest: “Who hath put wisdom in the inner parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?”

All of these demands are preceded by the Lord’s answer to Job from out of the whirlwind:  “Gird up now they loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.  Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.” We’re supposed to know these things consciously and understand them in our hearts, where true understanding takes place.  We are created and equipped to participate in the manifestation of Creation from out of the “inner parts“—the parts that scientists have bumped up against and by which they’ve been stopped in their tracks and left gazing into the ineffable formulating theories about what they imagine is occurring there.

Yet, I dare ask, are they only theories?  Has the repentant mind of Man, exhausted from crawling on its belly “up and down and to and fro in the earth,” looked upward and ascended to the heights of Heaven?  Has it been invited into the “inner parts” of Creation; been restored to its ordained place in Heaven, humble and no longer behaving as Satan, the prince of darkness and destroyer of life, but now functioning as a bearer of the Light of Truth?  That is, after all, the literal meaning of the word “Lucifer:” Light Bearer.

In the Beginning when Man’s mind was in Heaven, it was called Lucifer . . . and Morning Star, Day Star and Son of the Morning.  Morning, the beginning of a new day, is also the herald of a new creative cycle.  Light is needed at the dawn of new cycles to cast light on the way forward.  I think this is what has been occurring over the last several decades, evidenced by the rise of spiritual guides, mentors and teachers the world over—a rise in the Consciousness of Man to an opened window in Heaven out from which the Light of Truth shines into the human mind, including the minds of scientist and physicists who apparently have sufficient resonant substance in their hearts to perceive the spiritual implications in their research and experiments.

Have we been drawn to the very threshold of Creation, the Gate leading to the Garden of Eden where the angel with a flaming sword that turns in every directions stands guarding the way to the Tree of Life?  Has the restoration of Man to his ordained state moved us thus far toward enlightenment since this cycle was initiated by the Lord of Love some 2000 years ago?  Are these the end times of a dark age and the dawning of the first days of a Golden Age of Light?

How shall we view and receive these explorers of the Quantum World of atomic waves and particles, the stuff of creation, the “dark matter” of which the cosmos is made, the yet unformed waves of energy between the stars awaiting the Command of Love?  “Let there be light!”  And who are the ones chosen and designated to speak Love’s Command if not we who have incarnated for this very purpose?  Am I asking the right questions for our time in the sunlight?  Is it too much to ask that we leave the old world behind and enter the Garden of Heaven at hand.  A New World awaits as waves of limitless possibilities for our command.  Let us tarry no longer in bringing it forth into manifestation . . . t-o-g-e-t-h-e-r.  Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved

P.S. Desolate and covered with boils, yet Job did not curse God and die, as his three friends advised.  Rather he repented in dust and ashes . . . and he prayed for his three friend.  “So the Lord blessed the later end of Job more than the beginning , , , and gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Perhaps we could pray for those who seek to harm and kill us , , , even forgive them because they do not know what they are doing.

The Mystery of Consciousness: Manifestation By The Spoken Word

Rainbow Heart

Creation unfolds out of consciousness—another word for heaven—in very specific stages and rhythmic phases of development following an immutable design governed by Spirit which holds safe and secure the true design and control for living forms.  It is the Spirit of Love, Father God, that begets Life in the Womb of Mother God, the Spirit of Truth.  With our hearts we play a gestational and nurturing role in the process of creating living forms, a process that has been in operation since the beginning of creation when the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters of consciousness, and God said “Let there be light.”

Looking back into the far distant and ancient past, when Egyptian Gods walked the Earth and worked their magic of creating forms, we find the same pattern manifesting through the Creative Process:

Radiation ↔ Response ← Attraction ↔ Union → Unified Radiation.

OUT OF THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HEART

It is said that the mouth speaks out of the abundance of the Heart.  The radiation of love is through the heart. Response to the radiation of love comes from the unformed quantum field of infinite possibilities and probabilities where energy waves collapse into particles the moment the light of love shines upon them and the creative Word is spoken.  Living forms are thus created and imbued with the light of love for the purpose of shining light into the creative field; the light that is life for all of creation.  Consciousness provides the matrix in which thought-forms shape intention and vision in an imaginal realm.  Voice and tongue provide the utterance and projection of the Word into the creative field.  Union follows attraction as coherence of structure allows the release of a unified Ray of Love’s Light. Thus has it been and will be for all eternity; surely as far back as history records.

CREATION BY THE WORD

We are constantly creating our worlds with the utterances of our tongues. I found this interesting piece of Ancient Egyptian history relating to the creator god Ptah while researching the role of sound in creation:

Ptah is the creator god of the Memphite theology. [Memphis was the capital of Ancient Egypt]. He was said to be the creator of all things, including other creator gods. Self-generated, Ptah, the god of the primeval mound (Tatenen), created by thinking of things in his heart and then naming them by means of his tongue. This is referred to as Logos creation, a label that references the Biblical “in the beginning was the Word (Logos)” [John 1:1]. The Egyptian gods Shu and Tefnut came into being from the mouth of Ptah. Ptah was sometimes equated with the Hermopolitan chaos pair Nun and Naunet. Besides being a creator god, Ptah is a chthonic god of the dead, who seems to have been worshiped since the early dynastic period.

Whether used self-actively in “darkened understand,” as the Gita says, or Spirit-actively by Man restored to the image and likeness of his Creator as God in action on earth, the principles governing the Creative Process are the same and apply without discrimination.  The heart is at the center of creation. “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.”

WHO WERE THESE GODS?

My critical inquiry goes in the direction of understanding who these Egyptian Gods were that walked the Earth in post-Edenic times.  For surely they were “as God” knowing good and evil and having the knowledge and power to create.  We learn of the “Elohim” from Hebraic scriptures.

In Genesis 1, the Hebrew word for God is “Elohim”, which is the general term for god or gods and is also, rather interestingly, a plural word.  In Genesis 1 Elohim is referred to as “him” (male singular) but speaks in plural (“Let us make man in our image”). However, in Genesis 2, the four-lettered name of God, YHWH, (Yahwey) first appears, and God is mostly referred to by this unique name from there on in.

Was Ptah perhaps one of the Creator Beings of Elohim?  Uranda (Lloyd A. Meeker) in his teachings speaks of a time when creator beings looked out into the unformed void of the Cosmos for a fitting place to create, as he put it, “a Home among the stars.” As I can best recall, they formed the collective group of God Beings known as Elohim.  In their collective One Heart they conceived an image of this Home and then spoke it into existence, sending forth a unified Triune Ray of Light into the unformed cosmic nebulae. The result was a dynamic response to their radiation, followed by an attraction that brought together atom with atom, particle with particle, and molecule with molecule into a cohesive solar entity around lines of force that provided design and control patterns bringing order out of chaos.  And here they established their Home among the stars, our Home among the stars.  To hear Uranda relate the story in detail, one has a sensing that he was there and possibly one among the Elohim.

“INSTANTANEOUS MANIFESTATION”

What piqued my interest in this legend about Ptah is the way in which he is said to have created things by speaking them into existence . . . having thought about them in his heart before “naming them by means of his tongue”— creation by the Word.  Along this line, I would like to share a presentation by Uranda of “Instantaneous Manifestation” dating back to January 1,1933 toward the beginning of his “Ministry of Truth”

INSTANTANEOUS MANFESTATION

The first step toward the attainment of instantaneous manifestation is LOVE. LOVE is the shaping force in all creation. This, then, is the secret of why it is so necessary to “love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,” and to “love thy neighbor as thyself.” That which you send out always comes back to you. If you send out from yourself thoughts of limitation and lack, limitation and lack appear in manifestation to carnal mind. Everyone is manifesting every day. All that appears in your life is manifested according to Law. Do not look at the art of manifestation as if it were something entirely new to be learned. All you need to learn is HOW TO CONTROL COMPLETELY EVERY MANIFESTATION WHICH YOU BRING FORTH. What you seek to know is the perfect application of the Law. You know that the Law works, otherwise you would have nothing but a complete void—you would not even have physical life.

These then are the SEVEN LAWS which govern manifestation:

  1. LOVE THE LORD THY GOD with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
  1. LOVE the thing which you wish to bring forth into manifestation, for this is intense desire and makes possible the application of the Third Law.
  1. CONCENTRATION, which is the elimination from the mind of every thought not directly related to the manifestation.
  1. VISUALIZATION, which is the building of a perfect mold through which the manifestation may come. Each detail must be perfectly visualized or it will not be perfectly manifested.
  1. Become ONE WITH YOUR CREATION so that you lose all consciousness of separate identity. BECOME IT.
  1. SPEAK THE WORD. Having become one with that which you desire to bring forth, you now BRING FORTH YOURSELF.
  1. GIVE THANKS TO GOD THAT IT IS SO. Here you regain consciousness of your identity as being apart from your manifestation.

Complying with the First Law you become one with God, for if you love God with all of your every sense and part of your being there is no room for anything else. Doing this, you are lifted above consciousness on the material plane of existence to the point where you are vibrating in perfect harmony with the ONE SOURCE of all things. If you desire bread you do not go to a hardware store. You go to the source of the food supply in your locality; that is, a grocery store. Therefore if you desire to bring forth into manifestation a hat, you cannot do so and remain on the plane where the hat will finally manifest. You must change your vibrations and make them harmonize with the one substance from which all things come, before you can influence that substance and make it take form. This is attained by love. You must love the first great cause with all that you are.

Love expressed through the mind that is not supported by the physical expression, that is, the heart, is one-sided and has no power to bring forth quickly. You see, then, that the perfect love which the soul has for God must be allowed to radiate fully and completely through both mind and body before the mind and body can become aware of oneness with God. “Faith without works is dead.” Faith is of the mind, while works are of the body. A mind which is in perfect attunement with the soul has perfect faith, and the body which is in perfect attunement with the soul is a perfect channel for perfect works. Your soul is now in harmony, or a state of oneness, with God; therefore all that is required of you is to so blend and harmonize your mind and body with your soul that you lose all distinction between them and so become aware of God’s oneness with you. This being done, you are vibrating in perfect harmony with the one substance from which all things are created.

Imperfect attunement with this one substance, which is God, brings forth an imperfect manifestation. This shows you why it is that all selfishness and disharmony with your fellow human beings must be eliminated. If you love God with all that you are, you love all of God, and since God is in every man, woman and child, you will love every man, woman and child when you love God. When you become one with God you will love the God substance in every person and thing. You may wish to change the form in which the God substance is manifesting, but you will love the God substance in every manifestation, whether the manifestation be perfect or imperfect, and this love will express in all of your radiation. Contemplation on these words will give you a complete understanding of the first law of manifestation.

When you have attained to this perfect understanding you may give attention to the Second Law, which is: Love the thing which you wish to bring forth into manifestation. Being one with the God substance you may direct your love to the object which you are manifesting. Your vibrations are instantly harmonized with that which you truly love. Thus it is that through love of God you become one with God, and being one with God substance you find that the idea of a thing, or the name of a thing, is the thing itself. The next step, then, is to love the hat which you are bringing forth, and this love is an intense desire to express yourself as a hat. This automatically brings into action the Law of Concentration, so that everything not related directly to the process of manifesting yourself as a hat is excluded from the realm of your attention.

With the perfect control of the attention a fact, the next Law is easily applied. With nothing to distract the attention, perfect visualization is natural, and every detail is perfectly harmonized in the picture.

Here is a test. Perfect love of a thing brings perfect acquaintance with it. Therefore if you have complied with the Second Law, you will know every detail which is to be incorporated into the manifestation. If you are not divinely aware of every detail in your creation you are not a worthy creator.

When you have complied with every Law thus far it will be easy to obey the dictates of the Fifth Law. Here you become aware of yourself as being’ one with the vibration on which your manifestation is to come forth. This is an understanding of the Law of Being which applies to your particular creation. Remember that the only difference between things is one of vibration. When you harmonize yourself with the vibrations of a hat, you become a hat. When you harmonize yourself with the vibrations of God, you become God, or one with God. Therefore the Fifth Law of Manifestation is to become one with creation so that in consciousness you are it.

The Sixth Law is the point of coming forth. This is done by the use of the spoken word. The spoken word, the creative word, is an acknowledgment that you are it. “Be still, and know that I am God.” Being one with it, you acknowledge that oneness and say, “I am a hat. Let there be a hat in manifestation now.” This law will be easily understood and applied when you have progressed to it. Until you have so progressed, further words concerning it will have little value to you.

The Seventh Law is most important, for through the application of it you make your creation permanent. That which you have created remains in manifestation to you only so long as you solidify it through praise and thanksgiving. Therefore you see the great reason for the many psalms of praise and thanksgiving.

Earnest application of the Seventh Sacred Law will cause that which you now have to grow and multiply. It brings you back to the First Law and makes you see how it is, and why it is, that God works in circles. It is only through the circle that a thing may be complete and yet be endless.

This is my instruction to you. Study it well, that you may learn to live it, for “Faith without works is dead.”

JUST DO IT !

Uranda’s successor, British Lord Martin Exeter, with the agreement of a circle of men and women in a state of accord, gathered around the very location where their vision was to materialize, manifested a dome chapel on Sunrise Ranch in Eden Valley near Loveland, Colorado . . . and later on a pavilion, along with skilled builders . . . and later yet two Lear jets, along with two experienced pilots.  He was a pilot himself, and a lean man of action who drew hundreds of men and women to his ministry.  Among his final words before departing in 1988 was a command to the effect: “Now you do it.  Manifest God in action on Earth through Man restored.” His words have been in my heart ever since.  I came to know oneness with his spirit, my spirit, just hearing him speak and sharing in the radiation of the Word. </strong>

We are here to do the “greater works” relating to the creation of the New Earth, the design and nature of which is being handed down to us via the New Heaven by the Creator of heaven and earth.  How shall we go about these greater works? We’ve talked about them for decades.  But, enough with words.  Words without works are empty.  We speak these days about the “veil” of the heart thinning and clarifying.  As a close friend exclaimed recently, it’s time to go ahead through the veil to the other side and be about the business of manifesting the New Earth and a new way of living.

There is something more that can be done and needs being done. With One Heart, One Mind and One Way, what is it that we are called together to do?  Can we now envision the New Earth in our One Heart and speak that vision into being with our Word as God in action on Earth?  The Way appears and opens before us as we come together in a place of accord. I welcome any thoughts you might have along this line.  Until my next post,

Be love.  Be loved.

BIOCENTRISM: A “Goldilocks’s Universe”

“Wherever the life is [the world] bursts into appearance around it.”     Ralph Waldo Emerson

♦ ◊ ♦

NOWHERE IS IT MORE OBVIOUS than here on planet Earth where we live, breathe oxygen and enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature’s array of colorful creations that we live in a perfectly balanced universe.  Any closer to the sun, our Star in the heavens, the heat would be unbearable. Any farther away, life forms would freeze and cease growing and multiplying, including our physical forms for incarnating here—which in themselves are miracles of Life’s creations.

    Our Home among the stars

♦ ◊ ♦

“The universe is fine-tuned for life, which makes perfect sense as life creates the universe”

We come to chapter nine of Dr. Robert Lanza and Bob Berman’s enlightening book BIOCENTRISM — How Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding the True Nature of the Universe.  This is my favorite chapter of the entire book as it’s full of details about the universe and about our world as seen through the beautiful and clear lens of the authors’ minds — like where the oxygen we breathe comes from, and all the carbon that goes into building just about everything; and how the atom maintains its integrity and coherent unity.

The title of this chapter is “GOLDILOCKS’S UNIVERSE.”  As you may recall the fairytale, Goldilocks came upon a cottage home belonging to a family of three bears, who were away at the time.  There on the table were three bowls of porridge, the first of which was too hot, the second too cold, and the third was just right.

So is it where our home among the stars is set in the Cosmos: it’s just right for life to flourish and for Man to live and steward creation.  I invite you to come with me on a survey of the microcosmic ingredients of the macrocosmic world and renew your appreciation of the finer and unseen details of our world’s makeup, and that of the Universe where our world lives, that make it just right for life and consciousness. In fact, it has to be just right for life and consciousness for this “Participatory Universe” to exist at all.

♦ ◊ ♦

The world appears to be designed for life, not just at the microscopic scale of the atom, but at the level of the universe itself. Scientists have discovered that the universe has a long list of traits that make it appear as if everything it contains — from atoms to stars — was tailor-made just for us. Many are calling this revelation the “Goldilocks Principle,” because the cosmos is not “too this” or “too that,” but rather “just right” for life. Others are invoking the principle of “Intelligent Design,” because they believe it’s no accident the cosmos is so ideally suited for us, although the latter label is a Pandora’s box that opens up all manner of arguments for the Bible, and other topics that are irrelevant here, or worse. By any name, the discovery is causing a huge commotion within the astrophysics community and beyond.

In fact, we are currently in the midst of a great debate in the United States about some of these observations. Most of us probably followed the recent trials over whether intelligent design can be taught as an alternative to evolution in public school biology classes.  Proponents claim Darwin’s theory of evolution is exactly that — a theory — and cannot fully explain the origin of all life, which naturally it never claims to do. Indeed, they believe the universe itself is the product of an intelligent force, which most people would simply call God. On the other side are the vast majority of scientists, who believe that natural selection may have a few gaps, but for all intents and purposes is a scientific fact. They and other critics charge that intelligent design is a transparent repackaging of the biblical view of creation and thus violates the constitutional separation of church and state.

It would be nice if the debate changed from the contentious one about exchanging evolution for religion, and switched to the more productive tack of asking whether science can explain why the universe appears to be built for life. Of course, the fact that the cosmos seems exactly balanced and designed for life is just an inescapable scientific observation—not an explanation for why.

At the moment, there are only three explanations for this mystery. One is to say, “God did that,” which explains nothing even if it is true. The second is to invoke the Anthropic Principle’s reasoning, several versions of which strongly support biocentrism, which we shall now examine. The third option is biocentrism pure and simple, nothing else needed. No matter which logic one adopts, one has to come to terms with the fact that we are living in a very peculiar cosmos.

By the late sixties, it had become clear that if the Big Bang had been just one part in a million more powerful, the cosmos would have blown outward too fast to allow stars and worlds to form. Result: no us. Even more coincidentally, the universe’s four forces and all of its constants are just perfectly set up for atomic interactions, the existence of atoms and elements, planets, liquid water, and life. Tweak any of them and you never existed.

The authors provide a chart listing 32 “constants” and their modern values from the CODATA 1998 recommended by the National Institute of Standards and Technology of the United States, along with their mostly Greek symbols — interesting but not necessary for inclusion here.  Most of the elements I’ve never heard of, such as Bohr Magneton, Boltzmann’s Constant, Deuteron Mass, Fine Structure Constant, and Hartree Energy.  The more familiar ones are Atomic Mass Unit, Electric Constant, Faraday Constant, Magnetic Constant, Planck Constant (Length, Mass and Time), and Proton Mass.  I had no idea that the Universe was made up of so many “constants”—and that scientists had discovered, isolated and gave them values, names and symbols.  All this to show how intricately balanced and stable the atomic fabric of the universe is.

GOLDILOCKS’S UNIVERSE

Such life-friendly values of physics are built into the universe like the cotton and linen fibers woven into our currency. The gravitational constant is perhaps the most famous, but the fine structure constant is just as critical for life. Called alpha, if it were just 1.1 times or more of its present value, fusion would no longer occur in stars. The fine-structure constant gets so much scrutiny because the Big Bang created almost pure hydrogen and helium and almost nothing else. Life needs oxygen and carbon (water alone requires oxygen) but this by itself is not so great a problem because oxygen is created in the cores of stars as an eventual product in nuclear fusion.

Carbon is another story.  So where did the carbon in our bodies come from? The answer was found a half-century ago, and, of course, involves those factories where all elements heavier than hydrogen and helium are manufactured — in the centers of suns. When heavier stars later explode into supernovae, this material is released into their environments, where they are taken up, along with nebulous clouds of interstellar hydrogen, into the stuff that composes the next generation of stars and planets. When this happens in a newly formed generation of stars, these further enrich themselves with an even higher percentage of heavier elements, or metals, and the more massive of these eventually explode. The process repeats. In our own neck of the cosmic woods, our sun is a third-generation star, and its surrounding planets, including all materials comprising the living organisms on Earth, are composed of this nicely enriched, third-generation, complex-material inventory.

For carbon in particular, the key to its existence lies in an odd quirk within the nuclear fusion process itself, the reactions that make the Sun and stars shine. Now, the most common nuclear reaction happens when two extremely fast-moving atomic nuclei or protons collide and fuse to form a heavier element that is usually helium, but can be even heavier, especially as the star ages. Carbon should not be capable of being manufactured by this process because all the intermediate steps from helium to carbon involve highly unstable nuclei. The only way for its creation would be for three helium nuclei to collide at the same time. But the likelihood of three helium nuclei colliding at the identical microsecond, even in the frenzied interiors of stars, are minuscule. It was Fred Hoyle — not of the card rules fame, but the one who championed the steady state theory of an eternal universe until that grand idea’s sad demise in the 1960s — who correctly figured out that something unusual and amazing must be at play in the interior of stars that could vastly increase the odds of this rare three-way collision, and give the universe the abundant carbon found in every living creature. The trick here was a kind of “resonance,” where disparate effects can come together to form something unexpected, the way the wind resonated with the structure of the original Tacoma Narrows Bridge more than six decades ago, causing it to sway violently and collapse. Bingo: turns out, carbon has a resonant state at just the correct energy to let stars create it in significant quantities. The carbon resonance, in turn, directly depends on the value of the strong force, which is what glues together everything in each atomic nucleus out to the farthest villages of space-time.

The strong force is still somewhat mysterious, yet is critical to the universe we know. Its influence only extends within the confines of an atom. Indeed, its strength falls off so quickly it’s already anemic at the edges of large atoms. This is why giant atoms such as uranium are so unstable. The outermost protons and neutrons in their nuclei lie at the fringes of the clump, where the strong force retains only a fragile hold, so occasionally one does overcome the otherwise iron-like grip of the strong force and falls off, changing the atom into something else.

If the strong force and gravity are so amazingly tweaked, we can’t ignore the electromagnetic force that holds sway in the electrical and magnetic connections found in all atoms. Discussing it, the great theoretical physicist Richard Feynman said in his book The Strange Theory of Light and Matter (Princeton University Press, 1985): “It has been a mystery ever since it was discovered more than fifty years ago, and all good theoretical physicists put this number up on their wall and worry about it. Immediately you would like to know where this number for a coupling comes from: is it related to π or perhaps to the base of natural logarithms? Nobody knows. It’s one of the greatest damn mysteries of physics: a magic number that comes to us with no understanding by man. You might say the ‘hand of God’ wrote that number, and ‘we don’t know how He pushed his pencil.’ We know what kind of a dance to do experimentally to measure this number very accurately, but we don’t know what kind of dance to do on the computer to make this number come out, without putting it in secretly!”

It amounts to 1/137 when the units are filled in, and what it signifies is a constant of electromagnetism, another of the four fundamental forces, that helps facilitate the existence of atoms and allows the entire visible universe to exist. Any small change in its value and none of us are here.

Such factual oddities powerfully influence modern cosmological thinking. After all, mustn’t cosmologists’ theories plausibly explain why we live in such a highly unlikely reality?

“Not at all,” said Princeton physicist Robert Dicke in papers written in the sixties and elaborated upon by Brandon Carter in 1974. This perspective was dubbed “the Anthropic Principle.” Carter explained that what we can expect to observe “must be restricted by the conditions necessary for our presence as observers.” Put another way, if gravity was a hair stronger or the Big Bang a sliver weaker, and therefore the universe’s lifespan significantly shorter, we couldn’t be here to think about it. Because we’re here, the universe has to be the way it is and therefore isn’t unlikely at all. Case closed.

By this reasoning, there’s no need for cosmological gratitude. Our seemingly fortuitous, suspiciously specific locale, temperature range, chemical and physical milieus are just what’s needed to produce life. If we’re here, then this is what we must find around us.

LIFE’S ECONOMY

This “strong force” and electromagnetic gravitational pull at the nucleic core of the atom alludes to the invisible power and control of the Life Force, the Creative Power that holds the Universe together.  This Life — which has eluded scientists, who live to hopefully understand it in their day — is a subtle but irresistibly attractive magnetic Force.  Call it Spirit, or God, or the Supreme Being — by any name we may give to this all-powerful Creating Force, Life wastes nothing as it assembles and dissembles forms.  That which holds together at the core of the atom partakes of creation at that level and ascends to the next level for higher and greater creative purpose to fulfill.  What doesn’t or can’t adhere to the magnetic force at the nucleus falls away to take part in the Creating Process at a lower level. Nothing is lost or destroyed, only the structured state changes form in the ongoing processes of transformation, transmutation and ascension.  All things return to their Origin in the One. I will complete this episode in my next post.  Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

Biocentrism: Behold, I Create . . . Something from Nothing

“It’s an unpleasant thing to bring people into the basic laws of physics.” —Nobel Laureate Steven Weinberg

GOD DID INDEED CREATE the Universe out of nothing.  In fact, we’re creating our worlds out of nothing all the time, that is according to quantum physics theory and biocentrism.  Atoms, the invisible, intangible and essential energetic building blocks of the visible, tangible, material world of creation are not “things.”  They are nothings from which all things are made.  It is, therefore, accurate to say that God created the Universe out of nothing.  What God did do, according to the Genesis story of Creation, was speak a command “Let there be light” and the Universe proceeded to unfold out of light.

The Universe was created by light.  A more scientific way of describing creation would be “The Universe materialized when light shined into the darkness of the quantum world of all possibilities, collapsing the wave function of probabilities and, Voila! Electrons, protons, neutrons and photons materialized into particles, and what was before “without form and void” became the Earth and the fullness thereof, the world and all that exists in the world, including Man—Darwinism notwithstanding.  The Universe was created by Life and not the other way around.  This is biocentrism.  Mind-stretching truth and reality.

So, let’s go down this path of biocentrism further and explore the magical world of quantum physics, what I would refer to as the Heaven God created before creating the Earth.  The Heaven of immaterial preform essences always comes before the creation of the material world of form. It’s just the way the Law of Creation works, and there’s no shortcut around it. We cannot create a heavenly world here on earth without the heaven God creates for us to keep and work out of. That’s what brought us down to this vale of tearful existence to begin with. The earth emerges out of the heaven, not the other way around. We can’t squeeze a heavenly experience out of an earthly mind-made world. Consider the Natural world of blue-green forests and snow capped mountains; of paradise islands and jungles of the wild virtually untouched by the human species.  All of it a heaven on earth.  But let’s leave the material world and explore the vibrational world of atoms and subatomic particles, the stuff out of which the material world is made.

QUANTUM PHYSICS

I will probably get in over my head here, not being a physicist nor a scientists.  I am but a curious visitor to this mysterious realm of quarks and nanoparticles that somehow defy the laws of modern day Newtonian physics and the law of gravity as well; that ignore Einstein’s edict that the speed of light is constant at 186,282.4 miles per second, and that events in one place cannot influence events in another place simultaneously.  Yet we seek to move electronic data at that speed and faster.

We live in an information age where the new competitive enterprise is the movement of information and data faster than anybody else in the field of computer science, an industry that has commandeered the ways in which we communicate—indeed, the very way we live and “move people to the food and the food to people,” as portrayed so graphically in Godfrey Reggio’s 1982 epic documentary film Koyaanisqatsi, a Native American term that means a life out of balance needing a new beginning.

Presently we’ve developed 5G technology that is driving global growth and enabling industrial commerce, moving data across the globe using broad band low-frequency waves that are capable of moving large quantities of information faster than the speed of light.  Unfortunately, these low-frequency wave-lengths of energy are close enough to the low-frequency wave-lengths of radio communication that the airline industry here is the US is concerned about the scrambling effect 5G towers near airports will have on airplane instrumentation telling the pilot how close he is to the ground.  5G also messes with the vibratory frequencies of our bodies and our mental capacities, potentially, if not actually, scrambling our cellular light-signaling information delivery and hormonal communication systems.

This morning I read a report from Dr. Robert Malone, one of the developers of the mRNA COVID vaccine who immediately warned against using it without first testing it for adverse reactions, telling how “human augmentation” is being developed to meld humans with machines for future industrial development and warfare advancement.  We know not, nor do we seem to care, how our modern technology is impacting the delicate fabric of organic life on the planet, ours and that of the other kingdoms of the Natural World.  We are out of control. Koyaanisqatsi !

My purpose in bringing all this modern technology into this consideration is to demonstrate how we are attempting to move about on the material plane of existence as fast and as effortlessly as atoms and their constituents move about on the other side of the veil separating and connecting the physical plane from and with the spiritual, or vibrational, plane in this multi-dimensional world where we live and have our being.  We also seem to be bent on building an electronic Tower of Babel powered by “Artificial Intelligence” that promises to make life on earth more efficient, enjoyable and even effortless.  It reminds me of the movie WALL-E depicting life in a space station where the earthlings salvaged from a devastated Earth are served up all of their needs and conveniences without getting up our of their comfortable recliners.  We’re not quite there . . . yet.  Movies such as this cast their ominous shadows on our tomorrows.  A more current movie on Netflix is “Don’t Look Up”—rather than casting a shadow is itself an allegorical shadow depicting present human hypnotic behavior—scary for sure. Onward now to this series’ third installment and the third principle of biocentrism:

♦ ◊ ♦.”

Third Principle of Biocentrism: The behavior of subatomic particles—indeed all particles and objects—is inextricably linked to the presence of an observer. Without the presence of a conscious observer, they at best exist in an undetermined state of probability waves.

WHEN TOMORROW COMES BEFORE YESTERDAY

Nobel physicist Richard Feynman admonished us saying “I think it is safe to say that no one understands quantum mechanics. Do not keep saying to yourself, if you can possibly avoid it, “But how can it be like that?” because you will go “down the drain” into a blind alley from which nobody has yet escaped.”

Quantum mechanics describes the tiny world of the atom and its constituents, and their behavior, with stunning if probabilistic accuracy. It is used to design and build much of the technology that drives modern society, such as lasers and advanced computers. But quantum mechanics in many ways threatens not only our essential and absolute notions of space and time but all Newtonian-type conceptions of order and secure prediction.

It is worthwhile to consider here the old maxim of Sherlock Holmes, that “when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.” In this chapter, we will sift through the evidence of quantum theory as deliberately as Holmes might without being thrown off the trail by the prejudices of three hundred years of science. The reason scientists go “down the drain into a blind alley,” is that they refuse to accept the immediate and obvious implications of the experiments. Biocentrism is the only humanly comprehensible explanation for how the world can be like that, and we are unlikely to shed any tears when we leave the conventional ways of thinking. As Nobel Laureate Steven Weinberg put it, “It’s an unpleasant thing to bring people into the basic laws of physics.”

In order to account for why space and time are relative to the observer, Einstein assigned tortuous mathematical properties to the changing warpages of space-time, an invisible, intangible entity that cannot be seen or touched. Although this was indeed successful in showing how objects move, especially in extreme conditions of strong gravity or fast motion, it resulted in many people assuming that space-time is an actual entity, like cheddar cheese, rather than a mathematical figment that serves the specific purpose of letting us calculate motion. Space-time, of course, was hardly the first time that mathematical tools have been confused with tangible reality: the square root of minus one and the symbol for infinity are just two of the many mathematically indispensable entities that exist only conceptually—neither has an analog in the physical universe.

This dichotomy between conceptual and physical reality continued with a vengeance with the advent of quantum mechanics. Despite the central role of the observer in this theory—extending it from space and time to the very properties of matter itself—some scientists still dismiss the observer as an inconvenience, a non-entity.

In the quantum world, even Einstein’s updated version of Newton’s clock—the solar system as predictable if complex timekeeper fails to work. The very concept that independent events can happen in separate non-linked locations—a cherished notion often called locality—fails to hold at the atomic level and below, and there’s increasing evidence it extends fully into the macroscopic as well. In Einstein’s theory, events in space-time can be measured in relation to each other, but quantum mechanics calls greater attention to the nature of measurement itself, one that threatens the very bedrock of objectivity.

When studying subatomic particles, the observer appears to alter and determine what is perceived. The presence and methodology of the experimenter is hopelessly entangled with whatever he is attempting to observe and what results he gets. An electron turns out to be both a particle and a wave, but how and, more importantly, where such a particle will be located remains dependent upon the very act of observation [and intention].

This was new indeed. Pre-quantum physicists, reasonably assuming an external, objective universe, expected to be able to determine the trajectory and position of individual particles with certainty—the way we do with planets. They assumed the behavior of particles would be completely predictable if everything was known at the outset—that there was no limit to the accuracy with which they could measure the physical properties of an object of any size, given adequate technology.

In addition to quantum uncertainty, another aspect of modern physics also strikes at the core of Einstein’s concept of discrete entities and space-time. Einstein held that the speed of light is constant and that events in one place cannot influence events in another place simultaneously. In the relativity theories, the speed of light has to be taken into account for information to travel from one particle to another. This has been demonstrated to be true for nearly a century, even when it comes to gravity spreading its influence. In a vacuum, 186,282.4 miles per second was the law. However, recent experiments have shown that this is not the case with every kind of information propagation.

Perhaps the true weirdness started in 1935 when physicists Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen dealt with the strange quantum curiosity of particle entanglement, in a paper so famous that the phenomenon is still often called an “EPR correlation.” The trio dismissed quantum theory’s prediction that a particle can somehow “know” what another one that is thoroughly separated in space is doing, and attributed any observations along such lines to some as-yet-unidentified local contamination rather than to what Einstein derisively called “spooky action at a distance.”

This was a great one-liner, right up there with the small handful of sayings the great physicist had popularized, such as “God does not play dice.” It was yet another jab at quantum theory, this time at its growing insistence that some things only existed as probabilities, not as actual objects in real locations. This phrase, “spooky action at a distance,” was repeated in physics classrooms for decades. It helped keep the true weirdnesses of quantum theory buried below the public consciousness. Given that experimental apparatuses were still relatively crude, who dared to say that Einstein was wrong?

But Einstein was wrong. In 1964, Irish physicist John Bell proposed an experiment that could show if separate particles can influence each other instantaneously over great distances. First, it is necessary to create two bits of matter or light that share the same wave-function (recalling that even solid particles have an energy-wave nature). With light, this is easily done by sending light into a special kind of crystal; two photons of light then emerge, each with half the energy (twice the wavelength) of the one that went in, so there is no violation of the conservation of energy. The same amount of total power goes out as went in.

But as more sophisticated experiments were devised, . . . it became obvious that mere knowledge in the experimenter’s mind is sufficient to cause the wave-function to collapse.¹  (Underscores added)

I find this most stimulating.  Just to know that our conscious presence in the Field of Life itself is as creators to creation just by thinking and feeling with intention is quickening as well as sobering.  We are the creators of our world, whether we are conscious participants or sleep walking through life.  We create.  That’s our essential nature.  And we are responsible for our creations.  As true stewards of our creations we stay with them from the beginning to the end of their useful existence.  Then we assist them in passing away.  We never abandon our creations.

I will continue this series in my next post.  Until then,

Be love.  Be loved.

Biocentrism 2: Where is the Universe? part 2

A Galaxy with photoshopped central star

“We can will ourselves to act, but we cannot will ourselves to will.”    Albert Einstein

THIS ENTIRE CONSIDERATION reminds me of something a scientists once concluded at the end of his article: “We may never find the seat of consciousness, because what we are looking for is who is looking.” An axiom of ontological studies is “A state cannot observe itself.”  If you can see it and observe it, then it isn’t you, no matter how close it is to you or how pleasant or unpleasant.  We really can’t “work on ourselves.”  We can only work on changing our expression and our behavior, as well as our opinions and beliefs about ourselves.  The truth of you is that you are perfect, made in the image and likeness of the Creator — which fact makes you a creator who has a free will and choice about what you will create.  We cannot change who we are, nor escape the responsibility for our creations.  We are who and what we are: a Human Being — a creator Being incarnate in a Human form, come here from the Creator in the Heaven to create beauty on the Earth.  These words by my spiritual mentor, the late Martin Cecil, shared by Jae Hyoung Lee on Facebook today, express this truth in a more specific way:

We need to learn not to be disturbed. We need to stop responding to the external thing. We can relinquish human judgments of all kinds, critical attitudes one toward another, because our sole concern is with the kingdom of God and His righteousness, maintaining the heavenly atmosphere, that which is divine. It is not important that you should try to correct someone else, try to make someone else behave the way you think they ought to, according to your concept of what would be good presumably–but good for whom? Well usually it is “good for me,” is it not? Self-centered. Our concern is not with trying to change our fellows or ourselves. Our concern is simply with maintaining the atmosphere which will allow the right divine change to occur. if the divine atmosphere is provided in the spiritual sense we will just naturally grow up too. The process will unfold just as surely as the process of physical growth.

FROM MY READERS

Jerry Kvasnicka from Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, Colorado, wrote in a comment to my previous post:

Once again, Anthony, you have hit the nail right on the head! I love the way you put it: “I am consciousness and I create my world. Collectively, We are Consciousness and We create our world together as one body of Man, male and female, made in the image and likeness of God.” Yes, I am a representative of the Creator here in human form on earth to bring the wonders of Heaven into the earth of my living.

Here in the spiritual community where I live we have recently been meditating on the statement: “The mystery of God is finished on earth.” God has been a mystery to human beings because God is thought of as being separate–up there, over there, anywhere but here. So in an effort to connect with God human beings develop religions, philosophical systems and all manner of beliefs and practices to somehow bridge the perceived gap between themselves and the Divine.

The deplorable state of humanity on earth is the result of this ignorance. Not until we individually and collectively take responsibility for finishing the mystery of God on earth by revealing Divine character in living will the body of humanity (which in reality is the Body of the Creator) begin to thrive again and return the earth to its rightful status as a sparkling gem in the cosmos.

CONTINING from where I left off in my review of Dr. Robert Lanza’s book BIOCENTRISM in my previous post, I will conclude the author’s consideration of this chapter.  Earlier on the author asks: Where are the sensations of life?” — a question we might ask in our efforts to pin down and understand the sense of self.  Repeating what I wrote earlier: I know that my brain does not decide nor originate my body’s movements. It is clearly used in the process, along with all the other anatomical parts — and there are habitual patterns of movement developed simply by repetitive practice, such as in piano playing and typing. But the brain is not the author nor originator of my movements.  The author and creator of my body’s movements is the immortal being that I AM incarnate in this earthen form — and, believe it or not, this has been proven scientifically” — as the following excerpt elucidates.

Finally, some revert to the “control” aspect to assert the fundamental separation of ourselves and an external, objective reality. But control is a widely misunderstood concept. Although we commonly believe that clouds form, planets spin, and our own livers manufacture their hundreds of enzymes “all by themselves,” we nonetheless have been accustomed to hold that our minds possess a peculiarly unique self controlling feature that creates a bottom-line distinction between self and external world. In reality, recent experiments show conclusively that the brain’s electrochemical connections, its neural impulses traveling at 240 miles per hour, cause decisions to be made faster than we are even aware of them. In other words, the brain and mind, too, operate all by itself, without any need for external meddling by our thoughts, which also incidentally occur by themselves. So control, too, is largely an illusion. As Einstein put it, “We can will ourselves to act, but we cannot will ourselves to will.”

The most cited experiment in this field was conducted a quarter century ago. Researcher Benjamin Libet asked subjects to choose a random moment to perform a hand motion while hooked up to an electroencephalograph (EEG) monitor in which the so-called “readiness potential” of the brain was being monitored. Naturally, electrical signals always precede actual physical actions, but Libet wanted to know whether they also preceded a subject’s subjective feeling of intention to act. In short, is there some subjective “self” who consciously decides things, thereby setting in motion the brain’s electrical activities that ultimately lead to the action? Or is it the other way ’round?  Subjects were therefore asked to note the position of a clock’s second hand when they first felt the initial intention to move their hand.

Libet’s findings were consistent, and perhaps not surprising: unconscious, unfelt, brain electrical activity occurred a full half second before there was any conscious sense of  decision-making by the subject. More recent experiments by Libet, announced in 2008, analyzing separate, higher-order brain functions, have allowed his research team to predict up to ten seconds in advance which hand a subject is about to decide to raise. Ten seconds is nearly an eternity when it comes to cognitive decisions, and yet a person’s eventual decision could be seen on brain scans that long before the subject was even remotely aware of having made any decision. This and other experiments prove that the brain makes its own decisions on a subconscious level, and people only later feel that “they” have performed a conscious decision. It means that we go through life thinking that, unlike the blessedly autonomous operations of the heart and kidneys, a lever-pulling “me” is in charge of the brain’s workings. Libet concluded that the sense of personal free will arises solely from a habitual retrospective perspective of the ongoing flow of brain events.

What, then, do we make of all this? First, that we are truly free to enjoy the unfolding of life, including our own lives, unencumbered by the acquired, often guilt-ridden sense of control, and the obsessive need to avoid messing up. We can relax, because we’ll automatically perform anyway.

Second, and more to the point of this book and chapter, modern knowledge of the brain shows that what appears “out there” is actually occurring within our own minds, with visual and tactile experiences located not in some external disconnected location that we have grown accustomed to regarding as being distant from ourselves. Looking around, we see only our own mind or, perhaps, it’s better put that there is no true disconnect between external and internal. Instead, we can label all cognition as an amalgam of our experiential selves and whatever energy field may pervade the cosmos. To avoid such awkward phrasing, we’ll allude to it by simply calling it awareness or consciousness. With this in mind (no pun intended), we’ll see how any “theory of everything” must incorporate this biocentrism—or else be a train on a track to nowhere.

To sum up:

First Principle of Biocentrism: What we perceive as reality is a process that involves our consciousness.

Second Principle of Biocentrism: Our external and internal perceptions are inextricably intertwined. They are different sides of the same coin and cannot be separated.

Biocentrism 2: “Where Is The Universe?” Part 1

   The Holy Place of Creation

FROM MY READERS:  Neil Salka writes:  Some heavy duty thoughts you are writing about. Thank you. Love getting your posts.  In the last one about biocentrism towards the end, you write: “one fully understands that there is no independent external universe outside of biological existence,…..” now that thought alone stirs up in my mind: are you stating that we are actually/essentially dead outside of ‘biological existence’?  Dead in consciousness therefore no ‘life’ as we understand it? If there is no biological existence, what or where is life and consciousness? and then instead of: what happened in the second after big bang? it might be better to ask: where did my consciousness (life) come from? so life/consciousness came FIRST and then the body/biological existence. . . . first the Heaven, then the earth. Is heaven simply consciousness?

Great questions, Neil, both of which stop scientists in their tracks . . . and great segue to this post. Let’s explore your questions.

For as far back as I can remember, I’ve had a vivid awareness of being an immortal spiritual being. This awareness emphasizes itself as I move my arms to reach out and my legs to walk — presently as I move my fingers across the keyboard typing out the thoughts emerging through my mind while composing this blog post.

Having studied the anatomy and physiology of the physical body, I am aware of the complex chemical, neurological, muscular, circulatory and skeletal systems involved in moving the various parts of my anatomy.  They work quite smoothly and cooperatively together with instantaneous precision in finding the right keys to type a word, a sentence, a complete thought.  That being so, I know that my brain does not decide nor originate my body’s movements.  It is clearly used in the process, along with all the other anatomical parts — and there are habitual patterns of movement developed simply by repetitive practice, such as in piano playing and typing.  But the brain is not the author nor originator of my movements.  The author and creator of my body’s movements is the immortal being that I AM incarnate in this earthen form — and, believe it or not, this has been proven scientifically.  Read on.

In the following excerpt from Dr. Robert Lanza’s¹ book BIOCENTRISM,² he delves into the illusion of separate internal and external realities, which brings us to a consideration of the second principle of biocentrism — which I will let the author explain and develop in his own words.

♦ ◊ ♦

The Second Principle of Biocentrism: Our external and internal perceptions are inextricably intertwined.  They are different sides of the same coin and cannot be separated.”

First . . . simple logic must be used to answer a most basic question: where is the universe located?  It is here that we will need to deviate from conventional thinking and shared assumptions, some of which are inherent in language itself.

All of us are taught since earliest childhood that the universe can be fundamentally divided into two entities: ourselves, and that which is outside of us. This seems logical and apparent.  What is “me” is commonly defined by what I can control.  I can move my fingers, but I cannot wiggle your toes.  This dichotomy, then, is based largely on manipulation. The dividing line between self and non-self is generally taken to be the skin, strongly implying that I am this body and nothing else.

Of course when a chunk of the body has vanished, as some unfortunate amputees have experienced, one still feels oneself to be just as “present” and “here” as before, and not subjectively diminished in the least. This logic could be carried forth easily enough until one arrives at solely the brain itself perceiving itself as “me”—because if a human head could be maintained with an artificial heart and the rest, it too would reply “Here!” if its name were shouted at roll call.

Now, this is a rather simplified, as well as divisive, description of “me” versus “you” and everything “out there” not enveloped within my skin.  We know, or at lease believe, that all is one and that there is no energetic separation between the multifaceted and diverse forms and entities in the Universe—and there is only apparent separation between the outer borders of physical forms in the Universe.  The question this doctor raises in his book is “Where is the Universe?” Where does it exist as far as we are concerned and aware?  According to the principles of Biocentrism, the Universe exists solely in the back of our cognitive brains, projected there by our eyes via the complex workings of the visual cortex.

WHERE ARE THE SENSATIONS OF LIFE?

We can start with everything visual that is currently being perceived all around us — this book you are holding, for example. Language and custom say that it all lies outside us in the external world. Yet we’ve already seen that nothing can be perceived that is not already interacting with our consciousness, which is why biocentric axiom number one is that nature or the so-called external world must be correlative with consciousness. One doesn’t exist without the other. What this means is that when we do not look at the Moon the Moon effectively vanishes-which, subjectively, is obvious enough. If we still think of the Moon and believe that it’s out there orbiting the Earth, or accept that other people are probably watching it, all such thoughts are still mental constructs. The bottom-line issue here is if no consciousness existed at all, in what sense would the Moon persist, and in what form?

So what is it that we see when we observe nature? The answer in terms of image-location and neural mechanics is actually more straightforward than almost any other aspect of biocentrism. Because the images of the trees, grass, the book you’re holding, and everything else that’s perceived is real and not imaginary, it must be physically happening in some location. Human physiology texts answer this without ambiguity. Although the eye and retina gather photons that deliver their payloads of bits of the electromagnetic force, these are channeled through heavy-duty cables straight back until the actual perception of images themselves physically occurs in the back of the brain, augmented by other nearby locations, in special sections that are as vast and labyrinthine as the hallways of the Milky Way, and contain as many neurons as there are stars in the galaxy. This, according to human physiology texts, is where the actual colors, shapes, and movement “happen.” This is where they are perceived or cognized.

If you consciously try to access that luminous, energy-filled, visual part of the brain, you might at first be frustrated; you might tap the back of your skull and feel a particularly vacuous sense of nothingness. But that’s because it was an unnecessary exercise: you’re already accessing the visual portion of the brain with every glance you take. Look now, at anything. Custom has told us that what we see is “out there,” outside ourselves, and such a viewpoint is fine and necessary in terms of language and utility, as in “Please pass the butter that’s over there.” But make no mistake: the visual image of that butter, that is, the butter itself, actually exists only inside your brain. That is its location. It is the only place visual images are perceived and cognized.

Some may imagine that there are two worlds, one “out there” and a separate one being cognized inside the skull. But the “two worlds” model is a myth. Nothing is perceived except the perceptions themselves, and nothing exists outside of consciousness. Only one visual reality is extant, and there it is. Right there.

The “outside world” is, therefore, located within the brain or mind. Of course, this is so astounding for many people, even if it is obvious to those who study the brain, that it becomes possible to over-think the issue and come up with attempted refutations. “Yeah, but what about someone born blind?” “And what about touch; if things aren’t out there, how can we feel them?”

In the previous chapter, the author describes the tactile perception of a “solid” external world.

What about if you touch something? Isn’t it solid? Push on the trunk of the fallen tree and you feel pressure. But this too is a sensation strictly inside your brain and only “projected” to your fingers, whose existence also lies within the mind. Moreover, that sensation of pressure is caused not by any contact with a solid, but by the fact that every atom has negatively charged electrons in its outer shells.  As we all know, charges of the same type repel each other, so the bark’s electrons repel yours, and you feel this electrical repulsive force stopping your fingers from penetrating any further. Nothing solid ever meets any other solids when you push on a tree. The atoms in your fingers are each as empty as a vacant football stadium in which a single fly sits on the fifty-yard line. If we needed solids to stop us (rather than energy fields), our fingers could easily penetrate the tree as if we were swiping at fog.

None of that changes the reality: touch, too, occurs only within consciousness or the mind. Every aspect of that butter, its existence on every level, is not outside of one’s being. The real mind-twister to all this, and the reason some are loath to accept what should be patently obvious, is that its implications destroy the entire house-of-cards worldview that we have embraced all our lives. If that is consciousness, or mind, right in front of us, then consciousness extends indefinitely to all that is cognized — calling into question the nature and reality of something we will devote an entire chapter to: space. If that before us is consciousness, it can change the area of scientific focus from the nature of a cold, inert, external universe to issues such as how your consciousness relates to mine and to that of the animals. But we’ll put aside, for the moment, questions of the unity of consciousness. Let it suffice to say that any overarching unity of consciousness is not just difficult or impossible to prove but is fundamentally incompatible with dualistic languages — which adds an additional burden of making it difficult to grasp with logic alone.

Why? Language was created to work exclusively through symbolism and to divide nature into parts and actions. The word water is not actual water, and the word it corresponds to nothing at all in the phrase “It is raining.” Even if well acquainted with the limitations and vagaries of language, we must be especially on guard against dismissing biocentrism (or any way of cognizing the universe as a whole) too quickly if it doesn’t at first glance seem compatible with customary verbal constructions; we will discuss this at much greater length in a later chapter. The challenge here, alas, is to peer not just behind habitual ways of thinking, but to go beyond some of the tools of the thinking process itself, to grasp the universe in a way that is at the same time simpler and more demanding than that to which we are accustomed. Absolutely everything in the symbolic realm, for example, has come into existence at one point in time, and will eventually die — even mountains. Yet consciousness, like aspects of quantum theory involving entangled particles, may exist outside of time altogether.   (To be concluded in my next post)

THE IMAGINAL REALM OF CREATION

There’s a biblical passage that says “The thoughts and imagining of men’s hearts are only evil continually.” They don’t have to continue being evil.  I am here, along with a host of other incarnate angels, to change that, so that the world and the people in the world can be safe and made new in our consciousness.

Consciousness can be seen as the “Imaginal Realm,” the Holy Place where creation and re-creation take place, and out of which creation emerges into the realm of visible, material form.  It is also the realm in which visions and visitations from heavenly beings take place.  Here in this vibratory garden the true design of form is seeded by Life from above and within the Heavenly Kingdom of heavens — the garden of consciousness being the heaven out of which the kingdoms of this world emerge.  It is also a vibrational workshop, so-to-speak, for re-creation and for making all things new again.  The image of our world being projected from “outside” into our consciousness is herein made available for our co-creative work of re-creation in the heaven.  “Behold, I create and make all things new!” is our intention and command as co-creators with the Creator and with one another.  Consciousness is, in that sense, an aspect of who we are.  I am consciousness and I create my world.  Collectively, We are Consciousness and We create our world together as one body of Man, male and female, made in the image and likeness of God. To participate with the Creator at this level requires that we relinquish our false temporary identity as creatures and rise up to take on our true and immortal identity as creator Beings.  I will continue along this vein of consideration in future posts of this series.  As always, I welcome your participation by sharing your thoughts.  Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

²BIOCENTRSM, How Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding the True Nature of the Universe.  In recent years quantum theory has forced a sea of change in Western natural philosophy, casting doubt on traditional physical explanations of the universe’s genesis and structure. Biocentrism completes this shift in worldview as it takes on one of the key tenets of Western thinking: that all life ultimately reduces to physics. In its place it offers the revolutionary view that biology is primary — that life creates the universe, not the other way around.

Evolution: From Consonance to Dissonance to Consonance

“This is a time when we either meet the moment or miss the moment. —Eric Garcetti, Mayor of Los Angeles.

It’s a challenge to remain relevant these days as the NOW generation leaves us older folks behind—and my thoughts turn to lofty considerations that seemingly have little if any relevance to current events in the world—philosophical and existential considerations like “Where do we come from and where are we going?” Often while writing a blog article I wonder if anyone really cares about the topic. “Who cares about our origin or our destination? All I care about is where my next job will come from and paying the rent next month?”  That’s understandable . . . for those who have their noses up against the grinding stone.  There is, however, a larger picture to be seen in which these challenging times can be understood and seen for why they are the way they are and what we can do in moving forward, if we would only look up from the grinding stone.  This post offers such a perspective–but it will require you to think.

Before I launch into this post, I wish to share words and a poem from my favorite bard, Don Hynes, sent in response to my previous post:

Thank you for this wonderful perspective brother. You asked for our thoughts. Here are a few of mine:

The New Heaven
The old heaven and earth
are passing away
before our very eyes.
Anger and opinion of little use
as the ground slips beneath our feet
and the wide sea opens.
The words written long ago
about horsemen riding
and a great city falling
are now in present tense.
Hold together what you wish
of the crumbling structures
but be sure to look ahead,
to begin the work
of the new heaven.
Don’t scar it with old hatreds,
with all that hasn’t worked.
Remember to forget
and follow the trail
that life is leading.
Keep peace amidst the turmoil
and your crown in the chaos.
New life is coming
and into that new body
we are all being born.

Thank you, Don

ORIGIN

I just finished reading Dan Brown’s ORIGIN and I’m dwelling on the chapter where he finally arrives at the anxiously anticipated moment when the pivotal character in the story, futurist and computer entrepreneur Edmund Kirsch, reveals his belief-shattering discovery of the origin of life, along with the origin and destination of the human species, as the age of Artificial Intelligence dawns.  I won’t spill the beans for those who haven’t yet read the book. But I will take a phrase from the chapter to launch a consideration along the lines of the evolution of human consciousness, incorporating also words of my spiritual mentor from back in the day of my conscious awakening. The phrase is

“DISSIPATION-DRIVEN ADAPTIVE ORGANIZATION”

Lifted from the book, this phrase takes me back to my journey through Walter Russell‘s signature work THE UNIVERSAL ONE, in which he portrays and demonstrates the “Creating Process” as one of simultaneous integration and disintegration facilitated by the dance between the equally empowered Masculine and Feminine energies, partners in creation.  When you have a few minutes, it’s revolutionary reading. Just click on the above links to previous posts.

Back to ORIGIN: Edmund Kirsch’s scientific “discovery” of the origin of life in Brown’s novel is based on the urge and compulsion of life-giving energy to move out and bring the light of life to all corners of the Universe. Ergo, the “Big Bang” theory. To accomplish this, the “Laws of the Universe” assemble atoms and molecules into forms that will “dissipate” the energy in order to spread it further out into the formless void of the cosmos.  In the process, forms are disintegrated and dissolved, making room for new forms to emerge, all for the purpose of distributing energy throughout the Universe.  In order to accomplish its drive to spread energy around, the thermodynamic law of the universe creates a state of entropy by destabilizing a system of accumulated energy so that the energy can be dissipated.

“ENTROPY: A thermodynamic measure of the amount of energy unavailable for useful work in a system undergoing change.” (New World Dictionary)

Many systems on the planet are undergoing change. Examples of entropy can be seen in weather patterns where hurricanes and tornadoes form to dissipate the built-up warm energy in the tropics then move out and spread the energy into cooler climates, which absorb the energy and dissolve the entropic system.  The same dynamic is at work in the cooling of a cup of hot tea where the heat is dissipated in the tea and absorbed by the cup.

In the larger picture of human relations, entropy is at work in the clash between two classes of people, such as we see in the suppressed prejudicial racial issues in America that have bubbled over into “peaceful” demonstrations against unjust treatment of “people of color” by a policing system purposed to protect them.  Eventually the energy builds up to the point of destabilizing the emotional and mental capacities of the demonstrators which results in violent, and often destructive, outburst of energy.  As the energy is spent, the demonstrations disintegrate.

Considering Don’s poem “New Heaven,” entropy is working in the transference of energy from the disintegrating old heaven and old earth to the New Heaven and New Earth in a process of transmutation.  The acceleration of transference is exponential as the new absorbs the dissipating energy and substance of the old, which appears to be going out with a bang.  To try and stop it is literally a waste of precious energy needed to empower the New Heaven and grow the New Earth.  Fighting and resisting it only feeds it and hastens its collapse.  The word of Life is “Come out of her my people.”

New life is coming
and into that new body
we are all being born.

The Old God is Dying

Along with the passing of the old heaven, the old God of religion is dying.  In Brown’s novel, Edmund Kirsch’s theory is supposed to preclude the need for God in the creating universe—that is, the God of religion made in the image and likeness of man. Science with its Laws of the Universe–quantum physics, chemistry, microbiology, gravity, etc—under the dominion of Artificial Intelligence, had become the new God to replace the old. The obvious question, posed by Michael Langdon, an academic scientist himself, is “Who created the Laws of the Universe?” He suggests that there has to be an Intelligence behind the Universe wherein energy and mass oscillate between chaos and order.

I propose a more realistic formula: LIFE-DRIVEN ADAPTIVE ORGANIZATION FOR THE ONGOING EXPRESSION OF CREATING LIFE ENERGY, in keeping with Walter Russell’s model, as portrayed in this graphic:

All created forms come from and return to their Origin. The forms for moving life’s creating energy dissolve in the dissipation of energy.  Life’s creating energy itself does not dissipate, except in the form, resulting in the dissolution of the form.

However, we’ve been considering the transformation and transmutation of consciousness, along with the physical body, and not their dissolution—although that is what’s happening in the fallen state into which we’ve incarnated as spiritual beings, angels if you will. The warning by the Creator in the Beginning was and is “thou shalt surely die” if we continue to live our lives on the basis of our self-active mind’s judgments as to what it thinks is “good” and what is “evil.”

ASCENSION TAKES PRESSURE

There is another way our physical forms may go, and that’s up into the Light rather than down into the dust. That would require pressure.  That pressure is available within our living organism wherein spirit and flesh mingle to create a “Human Being.” Life’s energy, allowed to build rather than dissipate, would lift human consciousness to a new and higher level and shift the frequency of our physical forms to a higher vibration, where they would be completely impervious to all disease.

FROM CONSONANCE TO DISSONANCE TO CONSONANCE

So, how does all this play out in the evolution of my consciousness?  It plays out in how I conceptualize sensory perceptions in my consciousness and then neatly file them away into “good” and “bad” categories.  To help demonstrate, allow me to refer to my musical expertise.

Music is generally a movement of sound-driven energy that alternates back and forth between dissonance and consonance.  There’s nothing “wrong” with dissonance in the musical composition as it is part of the movement of the music, which usually resolves into consonance. By the same token, there’s nothing more “right” about consonance.  One is simply the evolving or resolving phase of the other.  Now, we all love consonance, harmonious sounds of symphony.  It pleases us more, however, when consonance resolves out of dissonance.  Now, if we don’t like the dissonance and attempt to resolve it without any musical knowledge, we would likely create a noisome cacophony.  Listen to this recording of Sergej Rachmaninov’s  Vespers (All-Night Vigil) and experience what I’m talking about.

(Move the red dot in the tracking bar to 23:50, and listen with your earphones at a moderate volume, as it will get louder at 25:00, then very quiet at 25:27. So, keep your finger on the volume control.)

RESOLVING DISSONANCE

I would now like to share some poignant words and profound insights of my spiritual mentor, Martin Exeter. He spoke these words some forty years ago.  However, as you will see, they are quite applicable to the present state of turbulence in our world.  (Read these excerpts when you have the time to be quiet and still.)

The state of affairs in the world might be described as an immense dissonance of raucous sound. How is this dissonance going to come to a point of consonance, harmonious consonance? How is it going to be resolved? The creative process in operation throughout the whole universe moves in cycles, in the overall sense in a creative spiral. It is an upward movement with which human beings are not particularly familiar because they have not for a long time been participating in it, but it is going on nevertheless. It moves in this spiral from a point of consonance into a state of dissonance and back to a state of consonance again at a higher level. This is the natural creative cycle; there is nothing wrong with it. In its relationship to human beings it was described long ago as the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Good and evil then were part of that original state—both are perfect. There is consonance and there is dissonance and they each have a part to play in the creative process. There is nothing wrong with the dissonance; there is nothing wrong with the consonance. There is nothing wrong with evil, there is nothing wrong with good, until human beings interfere with the process. Then things go very wrong in human experience, not that this interrupts the creative cycles of the universe particularly but it brings a good deal of tribulation and suffering upon the human race and upon many other forms of life which are part of the creative life cycle related to this earth.

So there has been a mess-up in this whole process because of the failure of human beings, so that they are now disassociated from the creative cycle. We could say, to illustrate something, that at the point of human failure there was a state of consonance. The state of consonance was properly to be followed by a state of dissonance in the true creative cycle, but certain ones distorted the state of dissonance in order to conform with their desires, desires which they presumed were good or would lead to more satisfying consonance. Unfortunately this was none of the business of human beings; they had no business interfering with what was happening. They were warned of what would occur if they insisted on this interference, and of course it did, because they did. And so since that point of consonance there has been a constantly increasing dissonance; the cycle has never been resolved. It may be seen that there were a number of points of hesitation in the dissonant pattern when it could have turned again into a cycle which would have led to consonance, but in each case human failure reoccurred and so the dissonance, or the disintegration in this case, continued.

Now if consonance is to come out of dissonance there must be present in the dissonance a starting point, a starting point which relates to the consonance that is later to appear as the dissonance is resolved. That starting point, in our present consideration of what is necessary on earth to emerge out of this unnatural cycle, is the presence of angels in human form on earth . . . .  This vast dissonance that is present on earth in the experience of all human beings can only be resolved on the basis of this starting point which I have mentioned, because this starting point is a point of consonance within the dissonance. As there is that point of consonance within the dissonance the positive quality of that point begins to draw into association with itself all the material that is necessary to permit a resolution to bring the whole unfolding cycle to the point of consonance which we have referred to as the point of restoration. . . .

What the angels are to do has been described in various ways but maybe we should look at it in the sense of our immediate fields of responsibility, because if we have been sent on earth as angels and we land up here, wherever here may be for the individual, that is the place we have been sent to; otherwise we wouldn’t be here. This is the place which makes possible the resolution from the worldly state of dissonance to a state of consonance. So there is something very special about the particular place where a person is now. There is a place where we always are. It relates to the present moment, doesn’t it? It always relates to the present circumstance and it will include other people who are in the vicinity, who are a part of our present circumstance—this is always so. . . .

Later in his message, Martin Exeter offered something more.

The changes that need to come are changes in consciousness. Did you ever try to change someone else’s consciousness? If I had been trying to do this over these years I would have been discouraged long ago. I have been offering services over a lengthy period of time, not to change anyone’s state of consciousness, because I can’t do that, but to offer the opportunity to those who would receive it to remember how to let their own consciousness change. And I have been very happy over the years in doing this to discover that my own consciousness changed.

That’s how it has worked for me. I’ll close with these words of Martin’s:

Now you can’t as a human being change your own consciousness. You wouldn’t know how to do it or what your consciousness should be after you had gotten it done. So that’s not the point. The point is that we have begun to discover and experience a new state of consciousness to the extent that we have been willing to accept a new quality of expression, not struggling to build some model state of spiritual consciousness that we had decided would be useful but in a very practical way letting our circumstances be used to provide us with the opportunity of giving expression to a quality of living that transcended what we knew before. We had to take responsibility for ourselves to do this, to recognize that whatever it was that was present with us exactly where we were was the facility by which we might let our state of consciousness change.

“Be Where You Are.” As always, I welcome your thoughts and comments. Until my next post,

The Garden of Consciousness — “As Above So Below”

🎶 This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine . . . Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. 🎶

Fig trees provide an archway in our back yard paradise

Co-creation At Home

The picture of our back yard above stands as a living example of how easily creation can unfold out of our consciousness where there is partnering with Nature.  Our yard didn’t always look so paradisal. It was totally destroyed back in 2005 when Hurricane Rita came through and uprooted our great sycamore tree and other trees in our back yard.  It was a surreal disaster.

At first, restoring our yard seemed an insurmountable task. Being a man and physician, I suggested we have a professional landscaper come in and “fix it.” Bonnie, on the other hand, wanted us to restore it ourselves, which we did—and it was fun doing it as we both loved working with the situation just as it was and expressing our creativity into it, which eventually transformed it into the garden spot it is today.  We did bring one of our sons, Leo, into the setting who contributed his carpentry skills into repairing the damage to our home—along with much-appreciated loving enfoldment and emotional support. Thank you again, Leo.

It took more time than a landscaper would likely have taken, but then we would have missed out on the joy of creating it together as ideas came to us, taking one task at a time. Realizing and implementing those ideas was a large part of the fun and joy. Then, watching Mother Nature take what we had accomplished and put Her finishing touches on it, we saw our yard grow and blossom as only She knows how. And now we have the pleasure of enjoying our little piece of paradise right here at home.

Here’s what our back yard looked like after the storm debris was cleared off.

And here’s our back yard today!

The Garden of Eden and The Garden of Paradise

I’ve been meditating on the biblical Garden of Eden, variously thought to have been located somewhere on earth. However, Eden may be considered more a heavenly garden than an earthly one; an internal garden rather than an external one. Paradise may be thought of as an external garden—an earthly paradise, which still exists in the pristine wilderness of this planet.

I’ve come to see the Garden of Eden as a Garden of Consciousness in which the seeds of Paradise are sown by the Creator.  Out of the Heaven of Divine Consciousness Paradise is born on Earth. We see it all around us in the God-made world of Mother Nature.

On the same basis, out of human consciousness is born the mind-made world of mankind into which we are born and live out our lives.  It’s simply the way creation works: from invisible heaven to visible earth. “As above so below.”

Our sun rises in the East as our planet rotates towards the future. It’s where the Garden of Eden is planted—by the LORD God.  I think this is important for us to understand.  Our today’s come prepared for us by the Lord: “This is the day which the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

We know that Man did not plant the Garden of Eden.  The LORD God planted this Garden.  Man was placed in the Garden of Eden to dress and keep it— not to seed it with his own ideas as to how the Earth should be created and utilized. The CREATING IDEA for the Earth is in the MIND of the Creator, planted in the Garden of Eden, in the sacred soil of Divine Consciousness, as seed for the creation of the Earth and for all the plants, creatures and critters that live on the earth. I see the earth as the Garden of Paradise, the physical manifestation of the Garden of Eden.

Original Man was the creation of Elohim, a council of Divine Beings, as we saw in an  earlier post.  Man, created male and female in the image and likeness of God, was endowed by the Creator with the privilege, and the responsibility, of participating with God in creation by dressing and keeping the Garden.

It would serve us well to remember what this privilege actually entails—and what it doesn’t.  To start with, it does not entail the right to plunder Paradise for our own self-serving pleasure and enrichment.  That is what caused the Fall, and what has maintained the separation of human consciousness from Divine Consciousness. What it does entail is aptly contained in words penned by Lloyd A. Meeker (Uranda): “Let love radiate without concern for results.”  In other words, I am responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of love in the Garden of Consciousness.

Spiritual Man was endowed with a consciousness of his own, which went with him when he left Eden and incarnated in physical man on earth—“fell into creation,” as one reader described it in a comment—and to this day he has cultivated it as a garden in which he plants his own seeds—the seeds of competition and discontent, of greed and envy, the seeds of war.  Basically the seeds that will bring forth the kind of world in which he wants to live with all the self-serving comforts and pleasures it can afford.  This world is not in harmony with the Natural world of Paradise, which the Creator maintains with minimal help from mankind.  It seems that man is determined to continue building his world on top of God’s world, slashing and burning it to make room to grow food for his belly, and drilling it to produce fuel for his machines.

The usurper and self-appointed ruler of human consciousness is the self-active human mind, which has assumed its own identity, the “human ego,” which many an ambitious leader has inflated in order to exercise power and control over others and the world, especially the world of Nature, Gaia’s Paradise, the cornucopia of the resources for life on Earth.  Even now he is eyeing the pristine National Parks of America with intent to harvest their hidden treasures of oil and minerals, Gaia’s very blood and bones. He has no respect for the Earth, nor for life.

Do I paint a too painfully accurate picture?  And do you detect a righteous tone in my words?  Perhaps it is because I do have a bit of righteous anger in my heart, tempered only by compassion for the deceived masses of humanity, as I look at what has become of mankind on Earth, and what a miserable and desperate condition we’ve created in human consciousness, out of which only misery and desperation can be born.  I use the word “righteous” in its literal sense of “right-use-ness,” of which there’s been a gross lack.  Little wonder Man ejected himself from the Garden of Eden, out of God’s Heaven, and separated himself from Divine Consciousness by his commandeering of the Creating Process.

And now we want to get back into Eden?  We can’t “get back” into Eden, at least not as we are in our fallen state of consciousness.  We have to welcome the Edenic state into our consciousness, then co-create Paradise out of that heaven.  Anything we might endeavor to do to create a Paradise on Earth is a waste of precious energy and resource without first letting Eden, Heaven, be restored to human consciousness.  The mind’s bright ideas haven’t worked in the past and there is no reason to think they will work now.  They only make living conditions on the planet worse.

Mankind may be like Man, but mankind is not Man.  Original Man is a spiritual being made in the image and likeness of God, who is Spirit, presently and temporarily incarnate in human form.  What we call “mankind” is a substitute for Man, a temporary creation “formed” from the dust of the ground, nevertheless used by an all-wise and merciful God as a means of incarnating on Earth in order to steer the evolutionary process of Restoration.

This is what I see underway on Earth in our day—has  been since the Fall.  It has taken this long for the evolution of human consciousness to reach a level of transformation that is sufficiently enlightened to accommodate the conscious emergence and revelation of incarnate angelic hosts through the bodies of as many human beings as are willing and transmute them in an apocalypse of Light.

It has also taken this long—after at least two failed opportunities—for the vibratory conditions in the energetic field of our planet and solar system, as well as cosmic factors in our relation, for example, to the constellations of Orion and The Pleiades, and our position in the energy belts of our Milky Way Galaxy, for the Restoration to be at all possible.  We are here, along with countless heavenly hosts, to steward this process so that Man can be restored to God and return to the Garden of Eden, where we will co-create with God a Garden of Paradise for and on the New Earth. It is why we incarnated. We are the appointed ones to get the job done.

I sense that time is at hand.  As I sat out with Bonnie in our paradisal back yard this evening, I felt a powerful wave of peace move through my body, moving across the entire globe.  I feel it even now as I write. Something of cosmic proportion is happening in the solar system, in the earth and in the body of Humanity. A New Heaven is descending upon human consciousness—the Heaven of Divine Consciousness—and already sown in its fecund soil are the vibrational seeds that hold sacred the patterns of design and control for the New Earth, along with instructions on how we are to go about co-creating Paradise here on earth.

In order to make room for the “New Jerusalem” descending from God out of Heaven, we must unclutter our consciousness of all the accoutrements and pabulum of the mind-made world to prepare our hearts to receive it.  John the Beloved describes it as “the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God our of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” In other words, as one who is loved with all of one’s heart, all of one’s mind, and all of one’s strength.

Shining the Light of Love

At the moment we are facing “darkness upon the face of the deep.” Just as darkness was upon the face of the deep in the Beginning, so is the New Earth emerging in a shroud of darkness. Darkness is the condition in which the seeds of change gestate and develop, out of sight and mental observation that typically leads to judgment and temptation to interfere.  I suspect that as the New Heaven gives birth to the New Earth, it will be unlike anything we’ve ever imagined or expected.  I pray we will not fall for the temptation to judge it as it evolves and interfere with the Creating Process, but let it be what it is and simply shine our “little light” into the darkness.  All creating cycles move toward oneness, from love—and already I see the Light of a New Dawn shining in the darkness; shining through emissaries of Light Divine throughout the world, angels coming forth in expression.

Let love radiate without concern for results.  As we are faithful to this one important and pivotal role, we can be assured that there will be results, and we will be surprised and greatly blessed, as will the Earth.

Paradise, as I said, is still materializing on Earth. There are still parts of the planet that have not been consumed by man and left barren.  Therefore there is a harmonious chord of synergy between Heaven and Nature manifesting beauty and sustainability with which we may partner, synchronize our life styles, alter the course of devolution and extinction of our species, and halt the total destruction of Paradise.  As we attune to the harmonious music of Mother Nature and dance to her rhythms and seasons, She welcomes us back and gladly accommodates our metamorphosis and restoration to the Creator of the heavens and the earth.  She awaits our return, and the return of her Beloved Creator to her Garden.

We are not alone in the process of transformation.  The entire Universe is with us as we turn around—the literal meaning of repent-–from our downward spiral to a dying exit from this earthly plane and start our journey back to Eden and an upward spiral that takes us back Home by way of ascension. No one need suffer or perish. We are loved more than we will ever know by the One who desires nothing more than to come into His Garden here on Earth, filled with peace and the fine substance of love. Love for this One with our all, and love for one another as our Self, is the only true way our personal and collective garden of consciousness can be prepared to receive the New Heaven for the New Earth.

I welcome any thoughts you may have. Until we meet again on this blog,

Be love. Be loved.

Paradise Remembered, part 3: The Origin of Man

“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion . . . over all the earth.”

Grace Van Duzen portrays Man as being first spirit, later to be clothed with form. Spiritual Man clothed with an earthen body—God incarnate on earth—to continue God’s work of creation as a steward of the creative process and keeper of the Garden. That’s the biblical story of Man’s origins.

Grace tells her “Story of Man” in THE BOOK OF GRACE from a cosmic view

“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion . . . over all the earth. . . .  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. . . .

“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

At the conclusion of each creative Day, God saw that “it was good.” After the creation of Man the comment was that He saw every thing that he had made, and. . . it was very good.

On the Sixth Day, then, we have Man (and Woman), a perfect creation. In the sixth cycle divine Being was clothed in earth substance, in position to let God perform His cosmic creative acts on this planet through His earthly image and likeness—the means whereby the invisible things of heaven could be brought forth on Earth.

Dominion over every living thing is the result of obedience to the command to multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it, which indicates a state where perfect control is operative in the act of multiplying, which involves sexual activity at all vibratory levels.

The opposite has occurred, with overpopulation the primary cause of hellish distortions rampant in every corner of this planet which was created to be a paradise. The results of aberrant function in the most vital area of man’s creative activity, the limiting of that act of creation to the physical level, are taking their toll in increasingly massive numbers.

According to this command, dominion over all creatures and kingdoms of the earth is entirely dependent upon control in this central function of life. Multiplication is an essential aspect of all creation, the “seed within itself,” and without the control that causes the design in the heaven to take material form, the result is self-destruction, tragically obvious in man’s present function on this planet.

The fact that Man, male and female, was created with the faculties to extend the control and guidance of a wise and loving God to all the kingdoms of the earth causes one to look at the situation in today’s world, of misery and violence. Something went wrong! Man is afraid, not only of many creatures of the earth but of his own shadow; there is not much dominion in evidence. The drastic change in the being designed to control the earth and its creatures inevitably included that over which he was to have dominion. Animals took on the nature of their “fallen” god. It can also be seen how quickly a “creature” will return to the state of “grace” when in the presence of a human being expressing the Spirit of God.

The Being that incarnates into this planet at the present time assumes a much denser substance than that in which man was first created. A finely tuned body, clothed with the highest vibrational substance natural to this part of the cosmos, would be equipped to travel vibrationally wherever the Spirit directed. Could this be the origin, deeply buried in the subconscious mind of man, of the concept of angels, radiantly robed in white, with wings that enable them to fly? It is an image that has persisted throughout the ages, and I was awed when I became aware, some years ago, that someone had perceived, in the aura of another’s body, the outline of a shape that resembled wings, extending from the area of the shoulder blades. I am not suggesting that the physical form of man’s imaginary wings would be the vehicle for his transportation, but the essence of the design is present, regardless of all that has been done, and cannot be dissolved by fallen human beings. It is still present.

CREATION IN MYTHS

Richard Heinberg tells the creation story as memorialized in myths.  Myths paint a much more colorful and imaginative picture. According to myths about “The First Time,” man’s abode was the heavens, the sky, in which we moved about like birds in the air—spiritual beings made by God—before diving into the water-covered planet Earth. That’s one scenario of Man’s origins. There’s a second scenario that has man emerging from Mother Earth—physical man formed by “the makers.” Heinberg cites both in Memories and Visions of Paradise:

The Earth Diver

Earth Diver myths tell the creation story from the perspective of a representative from the upper world who dives into the primordial chaos to bring forth the first seed of order. The Earth Diver myth tells of how a divine being (usually an animal) descends into the water to bring up bits of mud, which grow to form the whole Earth or even the entire Universe. Earth Diver myths are common among the northern North American tribes, whose cosmologies feature an original upper world inhabited by the immortal Elders and an unformed chaos of water below.

The symbolism in Earth Diver myths is often whimsical: the Diver is often pictured as a muskrat, a duck, or a turtle. Yet the underlying meaning of the myths is nonetheless profound. Water is the unformed reality out of which matter appears, and the descent into the abyss is analogous to baptism, in that it is at once a cleansing and a creative act. “In the beginning there was nothing but water,” says a Huron myth.

Similarly, the Hindu Vishnu Purana tells of an original chaos of waters:

He, the Lord, concluding that within the waters lay the earth, and being desirous to raise it up …. He, the supporter of spiritual and material being, plunged into the ocean.

The Emergence

The Emergence myth centers around the symbolism of Mother Earth, from which human beings emerge through various stages or levels of underworld. Emergence myths are found among the Hopi, Navajo, Pueblo, and Pawnee Native Americans, and certain groups in the South Pacific islands. In the Emergence myth the Earth is the fertile source of being, containing within herself the essences and potencies of all life. The lower world is described not as a hell, but as a previous mode of existence, a womblike paradise. Neither is the underworld considered to be a literal subterranean cavern, but rather a place “where at death we will all return,” another plane of existence “under”—that is, underlying-the perceptible physical world. Sun or Corn is often the agent of transformation and quickening, leading the First People up into the light. “Before the World was we were all within the Earth,” begins a Pawnee myth; “Mother corn caused movement. She gave life.”!’

In part, the Emergence myth is a metaphor for the journey from a spiritual plane of existence into manifestation in the material world. But the myth also epitomizes the role of the feminine in Creation: it is a symbol and a memory of the primordial Mother, the Earth herself, as she originally was—fresh, new, fertile, the source of all form, the receptacle of all seeds, the nurturer of all life. The tale is told from the perspective of the Creation, emerging from the womb of Earth Mother. . . .

Among nearly all of the variants on the creation-from-clay story, the breath of life is a common feature. For example, according to a Hawaiian myth, Kane and Ku breathed into the nostrils and Lono into the mouth of a clay image, which thereupon became a living being. In an Australian Creation story, Bunjil, the All-Father of the southeastern tribes, is said to have made two clay images, male and female, which he shaped onto pieces of bark. He looked at them, was pleased, and danced around them for joy. Finally he lay down on them and blew into their mouths, noses, and navels, after which they stirred and arose. Likewise, the natives of the Kei islands of Indonesia say that their ancestors were fashioned out of clay by the Creator, Dooadlera, who breathed life into the earthen figures. . . .

In many languages, the words for “spirit” and “breath” are identical. Creation-from-clay myths imply that the breath within us—the essence of our being, our life—is a divine gift, a spark of deity. “I am Osiris,” declares the God of ancient Egypt. “I enter in and reappear through you, I decay in you, I grow in you.” The fundamental message of the Hindu Upanishads, similarly, is that Atman (the individual’s innermost Self) is identical with Brahman (the ultimate Cause of All-That-Is). Tat tvam asi—“That thou art”—perhaps the most famous phrase in Sanskrit, is a proclamation of this underlying oneness of God and man, a oneness that ultimately extends to all creation:

You are everything … O self of all beings!

From the Creator (Brahma) to the blade of grass all is your body, visible and invisible, divided by space and time. . . .

O Transcendent Self! We bow to you as the Cause of causes, the principal shape beyond compare, beyond Nature (pradhana) and Intellect ….

We bow to you, the birthless, the indestructible, You are the ever-present within all things, as the intrinsic principle of all.

We bow to you, resplendent Indweller (Vasudeva)!
the seed of all that is!

While the story of the animation of clay by an all-powerful Creator describes the union of spirit and matter from creation’s standpoint (matter receiving the breath of spirit), the story of the descent of spirit beings to Earth, sometimes described as their taking on coats of flesh, describes the same process from the heavenly view of the Creator. According to the Molama clan of the Zulu, their remotest ancestors were a man and woman who came down from the sky and alighted on a certain hill. A similar idea is met with among the Wakuluwe, who live between lakes Nyasa and Tanganyika; they say that the first human couple came down from Heaven and produced their offspring from parts of their bodies.

Heinberg waxes eloquent in this summation:

In the beginning there is One—a preexisting Intelligence, alone and limitless. The One, in which the polarities of existence are united in perfect harmony, exerts a conscious act of will and becomes Two—masculine and feminine, active and receptive, Heaven and Earth. The Two work as equal partners in initiating the cyclic cosmic pulsations from which all life emanates.

The reciprocal—one could say sexual—interplay of the Two generates a multiplicity of divine beings, whose further activity, based in the same creative principles, results in the appearance of a manifest Universe of infinite scope and detail. The divine beings plunge into the watery abyss of chaos and return with the first seeds of physical form. Attaching themselves to these nuclei of substance, they continue to gather material about themselves and gradually emerge from the inner, invisible realms of eternity into the visible, tangible world of space and time.

Through this grand process, the One Intelligence differentiates itself into a myriad of self-conscious beings incarnate in material form. And thus there is generated a Universe of limitless diversity, of which each minute part is grounded in a single ultimate Reality.

As I bring these things forward, a question in the back of my mind asks “Why is this brought to me now at a time when the entire world is in the throes of a pandemic of historic proportion?” Actually, I started this series before the Coronavirus made its public appearance.  Perhaps its value lies in remembering that we are immortal beings incarnate in mortal flesh bodies. That design hasn’t changed. God incarnates yet on Earth through Man. The question might be “When are we going to return to our divine commission as keepers of the Garden of Paradise?”

I will continue with this series in my next post. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.
