Creating the New Earth Together

Eagle Nebula Pillars of Creation

ACCORDING TO ONE SOURCE, there is no climate emergency afoot. What IS afoot, however, is the threat of extinction for the human species, and likely other species as well, especially the ocean and sea creatures whose physiological systems are burdened with micro-plastic particles. They’ve infiltrated our bodies’ systems as well, ferried in by our food and drinking water — notwithstanding the plastics industry’s pseudo “recycling program” which recycles only about nine percent of the plastic containers we dutifully collect for recycling. The rest goes into landfills and the oceans.

The Earth is on schedule for transmutation to a higher vibratory level. We, on the other hand, are in the throes of a descending existential crisis . . . but only for our lower human nature and its dependence on yesterday’s residue for nourishment. Our higher divine nature and consciousness are not threatened but rather aided by the transforming energies moving through our planet. Our spiritual nourishment is with us always in the eternal moment. As a friend and colleague once penned, “Nothing’s wrong. Everything matters.”

IS CLIMATE CHANGE A COSMIC EVENT?

In my previous post, WE CAN DO THIS, I featured an article by Bill Isaacs entitled “Healing the Fever” in which the author presents a sobering update on the climate issues facing the world’s peoples, along with what humans can and must do to save their hides . . . if that is indeed the order of the day in the Divine Design of Restoration. A current scenario says a “New Humanity” is being born.

I wrote a response to Bill Isaacs suggesting that climate warming is a cosmic event occurring throughout our entire solar system. All the planets are undergoing climate changes in response to the Sun as it progresses through its eleven-year cycle, heating up and cooling down in intervals. With his response he sent me this link to a scientific report by Johan Rockstrom that shows with graphics where we are in relation to “planetary boundaries”—nine to be exact—within which we can live and flourish for generations to come. Crossing too many critical boundaries, however, we stymie Nature’s capacity to sustain us, thereby putting our species in grave danger of starvation and ultimate extinction. Nature will restore balance to all planetary systems, including climate, in relatively short order without the assaults of human activity.

Here’s the link: https://www.stockholmresilience.org/research/planetary-boundaries.html

Bill’s closing remarks in his email refer to deceptive forces at work, as well to the primary point of his article, which relates to healing the personal and collective fevers in human hearts and minds that underlie and manifest in ugly and violent outbursts and behavior:

“Also part of the emerging thing these days I think is recognizing that there have been forces operating ‘behind the scenes’ manipulating events; that things are not what they seem etc. but this is not really news. Or new. In fact it’s set in the way human consciousness operates. For a very very long time. Much of this has in fact been coming out and that will become more so I suspect. However none of it really makes a whit of difference. What does matter is still in way too short supply.”

For what it is that “does matter,” I refer you to the last four or five paragraphs of Bill’s article in my previous post.

Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific. Scientists should openly address uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately count the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of their policy measures

Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming.  The geological archive reveals that Earth’s climate has varied as long as the planet has existed, with natural cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age ended as recently as 1850. Therefore, it is no surprise that we now are experiencing a period of warming.

Warming is far slower than predicted. The world has warmed significantly less than predicted by IPCC on the basis of modeled anthropogenic forcing. The gap between the real world and the modeled world tells us that we are far from understanding climate change.

Climate policy relies on inadequate models. Climate models have many shortcomings and are not remotely plausible as policy tools. They do not only exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases, they also ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial.

CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth.  CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth. More CO2 is favorable for nature, greening our planet. Additional CO2 in the air has promoted growth in global plant biomass. It is also profitable for agriculture, increasing the yields of crops worldwide.

Global warming has not increased natural disasters. There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes, floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent. However, there is ample evidence that CO2-mitigation measures are as damaging as they are costly.

Climate policy must respect scientific and economic realities. There is no climate emergency. Therefore, there is no cause for panic and alarm. We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy proposed for 2050. Go for adaptation instead of mitigation; adaptation works whatever the causes are.

OUR ADVICE TO THE EUROPEAN LEADERS IS THAT SCIENCE SHOULD STRIVE FOR A SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE CLIMATE SYSTEM, WHILE POLITICS SHOULD FOCUS ON MINIMIZING POTENTIAL CLIMATE DAMAGE BY PRIORITIZING ADAPTATION STRATEGIES BASED ON PROVEN AND AFFORDABLE TECHNOLOGIES.

To believe the outcome of a climate model is to believe what the model makers have put in. This is precisely the problem of today’s climate discussion to which climate models are central. Climate science has degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science. Should not we free ourselves from the naive belief in immature climate models?

Groundbreaking Study Reveals Alarming 96% of U.S. Climate Data is Tainted by Warming Bias A groundbreaking study, “Corrupted Climate Stations: The Official U.S. Surface Temperature Record Remains Fatally Flawed,” has uncovered shocking results: Approximately 96% of U.S. temperature stations used to measure climate change fail to meet the “acceptable” and uncorrupted placement standards set by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The research, conducted by The Heartland Institute, utilized satellite and in-person surveys to assess NOAA weather stations contributing to the official land temperature data in the United States. The study reveals that an alarming 96% of these stations are affected by localized urbanization effects, leading to a heat-bias due to their proximity to asphalt, machinery, and other heat-producing objects. [Recently a weather report item noted temperatures on the surface of city sidewalks and road pavements reaching as high as 154 degrees Fahrenheit, some forty degrees higher than the actual temperature.]

This violates NOAA’s own published standards and raises concerns about the accuracy of long-term climate warming trends in the country. Heartland Institute Senior Fellow Anthony Watts, who directed the study, expressed his concern: “With a 96 percent warm-bias in U.S. temperature measurements, it is impossible to use any statistical methods to derive an accurate climate trend for the U.S. Data from the stations that have not been corrupted by faulty placement show a rate of warming in the United States reduced by almost HALF compared to all stations.”

On page 17 of the report, a chart presents 30 years of data from NOAA temperature stations in the Continental United States (CONUS). The yellow lines depict temperatures from non-compliant stations near artificial hot spots. The red lines show the “official” adjusted temperature released by NOAA. The blue lines represent recorded temperatures and trends from compliant stations.

The aggregate data from compliant stations shows a significantly lower temperature increase compared to the flawed temperature reading stations and the NOAA’s ‘adjusted’ anomaly line. This seriously undercuts the prevalent bias in the mainstream media supporting global warming alarmism. These findings call for urgent action and greater adherence to scientific standards in climate data collection.

As is clearly evident, the “experts” don’t agree on climate matters. What the bleep do we really know about the climate, the planet and the cause of these three-digit hot and steamy Summer days? I resonate with something my spiritual mentor once said about one’s point of view:

Perspective from the Heavens, Martin Cecil, December 26, 1982

ANOTHER CLIMATE SCENARIO

I attended a lecture decades ago by the late earth-science professor Dr. John D. Waskom of Natchitoches, Louisiana who proposed that beings with technological expertise in oil disposal have incarnated on this water planet with the specific task of burning off the petroleum dumped on it out of Venus’s tail when she was a comet—a scenario proposed by Immanuel Velikovsky, published in his 1950 signature work “WORLDS IN COLLISION,” in which he postulates that around the 15th century BC the planet Venus was ejected from Jupiter as a cometlike object and passed dangerously close to Earth showering her with naphtha, a fraction of crude oil, along with a host of other plague-producing elements that had catastrophic impact on the Egyptians while creating wonderous and “miraculous” phenomena for the Israelites as they left Egypt and “wandered in the wilderness” for forty years. “Manna” also rained down, as promised by the LORD God to provide food for the children of Israel . . . but just for a day as it soured quickly and became a toxic substance. What exactly was this “manna from heaven” that rained down from out of the tail of Venus?

The technology used to extract the oil—erroneously called “fossil fuel”—and burn it for energy has resulted in an increase of CO2’s in the atmosphere, fostering the greening of the natural world. “Nothing’s wrong, everything matters.”

HAUNTING MEMORIES RETURN

This is not the first existential crisis the human race has faced. Civilizations have been wiped out by cataclysms a number of times. Memories of such horrifying events have been buried deeply in the collective unconscious—which means we are not conscious of them today. Nevertheless, they lie there dormant influencing the ways we think about, feel toward, and react to the many threats to our comfort, our security and to our very existence. This we do know from experience: the awesome forces of Nature are not to be taken lightly. They destroy. They kill. They alter our way of living and create “new norms” in our lives.

WE HAVEN’T BEEN ABANDONED

But there’s another thing we know, and that is there is God who loves us more than we’ll ever know . . . and more than we could ever love God. The Creator does not abandon His Creation. We have a purpose in God’s heaven that entails co-creating together as one Body with one heart and one mind focused in the truth of love and of life.

Right now our job, as consciously awake and aware members of the One Body, is to clean up the collective memory bank. We do that individually by letting love move through our hearts and truth enlighten our minds and inspiration fill our words and actions. Under the mounting pressures in our world violent eruptions will continue to occur, in unbalanced individuals as well as in rioting mobs, until all of the horrifying memories are cleared out of the collective unconscious.

We who know know what to do with these erupting energies: give them up to the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Let the energies that fuel these ugly and violent patterns of behavior find their way back into the Creative Process continually at work in God’s heaven and in the earth. Rising up to share that heaven, we see these events in a true light. We learn to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

I welcome your thoughts and insights gleaned from reading this post. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

“WE CAN DO THIS”

I’VE BEEN DISTRACTED from my weekly blogging by health issues. However, “The show must go on!” as the saying goes, so I will persevere and publish yet another post. This time something came into my viewing range that spoke to me very strongly as something very timely and relevant that wants to be shared around. It’s a presentation by a longtime friend and wayfarer along a shared path of spiritual awakening and elevation of consciousness. His name is Bill Isaacs and the title of his presentation during a “Tone of Life” conference via Zoom technology is “Healing the Fever.” So, due to its length, I will spare you further commentary and simply give you Bill Isaacs. Enjoy.

HEALING THE FEVER

It really is quite something to just pause and take note of the vast cycles in which we are participating, to note the largeness of what is unfolding. It is some small miracle that we are here now consciously able to perceive and participate in all of this. I thought for just a minute it would be worth our taking some time to do a little preparation inside ourselves from this vantage point of Being. Let’s take a minute to notice the different patterns that we are encompassing or aware of, or possibly exercised by. Some of these may be personal, and some of them may be factors you are aware of in the wider world. I’ll leave it to you to discern what those are. But I invite us all to take a minute to just put those in a place apart, to separate from our involvement with them, to ask those patterns to step back for a minute. You could even imagine a kind of waiting room that you could put them in if you wish. A pleasant, lovely waiting room. Don’t just shove them to the edges. There are many things that pass through our consciousness, but to make space for deeper work I find takes some deliberate choices. So, let’s take a minute to do that.

The other day a colleague of mine mentioned something that struck me. He said, “This is not a time to do safe things.” He’s one of many I am aware of who see themselves as part of a vanguard of people who are meant to bring something different into the world. He and others see the “meta-crisis” of systemic difficulties emerging in the world. But his awareness of what is meant by the word “different,” is quite refined. To him, it means a fundamental set of root changes. His comment made me think that while there are no doubt many who are disturbed by what’s going on, there are others who are thinking that it is time to get on with it. It has been time to get on with it for a few thousand years, but we are at a time now when there is a specific window of opportunity, not to mention, urgent necessity. His comment represents an awakening to this. We went on to discuss what getting on with it might mean. We often translate these things in terms of what we might do in an external sense, but I don’t think that’s where the action is.

Where are the people who are operationally functioning in such a way that something different could start to happen on the planet, without their being caught up in what’s happening? This is a way of describing the emergence of a spiritual perspective and awareness capable of encompassing and shifting the disturbances all around us. This is something that has been unfolding in my experience, and I’m sure in yours and many others, for decades. But if there were ever a moment to bring all that operational equipment online, this would be it. I think we can see how there is a wider orchestration of factors unfolding that is precisely designed to bring this awareness to the fore, disguised as a series of global crises.

In recent months, as I’m sure everyone’s aware, all around the world, the very atmosphere that we breathe has become increasingly heated and clouded and poisoned. In Denver, in New York, in many places in the Midwest, and throughout the East Coast of the US, an orange haze of toxic smoke descended from Canadian wildfires that have been burning out of control for weeks. Cities in this zone have at different times had the worst air pollution on the planet ever recorded, which is quite impressive. Also in the past few weeks, we’ve seen temperatures rising in such a way that is alarming, even for the alarmists. An intense and record-setting heatwave has settled into the southern and western parts of the United States and persisted for weeks. Europe has also been struck by an unrelenting heatwave. The Acropolis has been closed to tourists because the temperature hit 104ºF. Staff refused to work, and health authorities feared people were going to suffer heat stroke. And it’s not just heat, but a massive buildup of moisture in the atmosphere that suddenly lets loose, that we see developing. The state of Vermont received two months of rain in two days, causing devastating floods and putting the capitol city of Montpelier underwater. While there may have been people, for instance, in America harboring the lingering thought that while climate change might be occurring, it would affect other people in other places, I suspect that bubble has begun to burst.

I was tempted to say something at the beginning about how, like one sometimes hears at the start of movies, “The following program contains material that may be disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.” Well, I think a little discretion is advised because unfortunately, we really haven’t seen anything yet. This is also dawning on people. The climate cycles we are seeing are part of massive interdependent and reinforcing systems that are escalating in intensity. Each outcome adds to momentum, to the feedback loops that keep moving, leading to further outcomes that carry yet more intensity. People ask when the “new normal” will appear when things will stabilize. They misunderstand the nature of the systems’ effects that are apparently at work.

While speaking with my colleague, he also made a quip that struck me: “The world has caught a fever.” I think it’s evident that we are seeing symptoms of a disease — Dis ease — moving everywhere. Like any fever, you eventually start to notice—even if you have been in denial that anything was happening. In the Washington Post recently was this comment: “’We’re seeing temperatures exceed those that can support life,’ said Francis, a senior scientist at the Woodwell Climate Research Center. ‘Certain places are becoming uninhabitable . . . . All of these records are being broken left and right, and my hope is people will start to put this together in their heads,’ she continued. ‘These things shouldn’t be happening. It’s all connected to the fact that we’re warming the planet’” (Washington Post, July 14, 2023).

The thing about a fever is it’s disorienting. You’re proceeding along and then you don’t feel well and you don’t know why. Now, there’s an additional component occurring here, because when the atmosphere itself becomes toxic, overheated and unbreathable, where there’s no escape for anyone, a claustrophobic condition looms. This is yet another very particular developmental crisis that’s being brought to the consciousness of the entire planet, more or less all at once. There have been some others which I’ll remind us of in a minute. But I think this is a specific and very controlled phenomenon, even though it looks quite out of control. One core element, of course, is that human beings are obviously very dependent on Nature, whether we admit it or not. We look to Nature for everything. When it comes to the point where we can’t trust that nature will right itself, where the self-correcting or governing factors of nature do not seem to not be working well, the rug really is being pulled out from under us. That is a very big change in the underlying condition of experience for human beings, one from which there is apparently no escape.

We’ve used and abused nature and like children, have looked to it to look after us. Yet apparently Nature is under some stress, and it’s not behaving as it once did. It seems to be moving with more and more unstable oscillations that threaten to destroy human beings. In fact, it’s doing the opposite of looking after us. Nature has held us, but its ability to do that, and its manner of doing it, is in question. Now, I think this is a quite profound shift. It certainly is not the first time there have been significant earth changes, cataclysmic and violent shifts on the surface of the planet, but those experiences are buried in the subconscious memory of human beings. This is happening now, to us. And it is sustained and ongoing and intensifying.

With some panic, facing the difficulties ahead, people are now saying things like, “We have already used up half our carbon budget,” meaning half the amount of carbon the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) estimated in 2020 that we could burn before 2030 and still keep the global climate average temperature increase below 1.5º C, considered a critical threshold we don’t want to cross because really catastrophic shifts happen after that. If changes aren’t made before 2030, the science holds that whatever is unfolding now will be completely irrevocable and irreversible. Without reviewing it, I would suggest we’re way past that point anyway. As we have put it in the past, the bus has hit the wall. That likely happened decades ago.

There is a valiant and valid effort by some to try and do something about what seems to be causing the fever, to stop emitting poison into the atmosphere, now framed in extreme ways: all fossil fuels have to go away, today. Despite the impossibility of simply interrupting the momentum of a global economy fully addicted to fossil fuels, the physics of the situation are that even if we did stop releasing CO2 all at once, the bathtub of already emitted CO2 in the atmosphere still has nowhere to go and the planet would continue to heat up for the next 25 years anyway. Longer-term effects might be mitigated, but much of the damage has already been done. Efforts to cut CO2 emissions, however, are at best a matter of treating the symptom. It’s like saying, we’d like to continue in our abusive and childish state, but we’ll make a couple of changes in our habits to do that. Like someone who gets frequent headaches and takes aspirin, letting the underlying cause of the headache go unaddressed.

A much more fundamental change is required, and that is what is gradually being brought to our collective awareness. There have been, over the last relatively few years, a series of unique developments for human beings, where a collective pattern of awareness has been brought more or less to everyone all at once. This kind of thing has never before happened in human history. We did not have the communication technology that would allow for it. Now we do. First there was the novel coronavirus, and the ensuing pandemic. There have been pandemics before, but not one that stopped the world in three days, and where pretty well everyone on the planet was immediately aware of it and shared in a single experience. Initially, some people adapted well while others had much more maladaptive responses. But it was inescapable, unavoidable.

Then Russia invaded Ukraine, and we collectively had to face an old-style world power conflict in Europe for the first time in 75 or 80 years. And again, the world was compelled to pay attention and was intimately involved. In this case, it wasn’t an invisible microorganism orchestrating things but a pattern of conflict right in our midst that could not be avoided. This has had enormous geopolitical, economic, and social knock-on effects. Everyone had to determine where they stood relative to another inescapable collective phenomenon. Some tried to stay out of it, some took sides and became partisan around it; but whatever the response, the situation was and continues a long while later to act like a festering wound in human consciousness. First, we had a world stopping disease. Then a world challenging “family conflict.”

And now we have emerging even more abruptly what has been brewing for a long time, a ever, an intensifying fever that may well make many places periodically if not permanently uninhabitable. But more than that, it has no sign of letting up anytime soon, and no easy fix. This is the underlying anxiety that is lurking here. Some might think, “Well, maybe next week it’ll cool off.” Probably not. This is a third and yet further intensification being brought to the awareness of more or less everyone on the planet. Now, if that’s not the orchestration of life functioning precisely to bring about changes in collective awareness, I don’t know what is. Unprecedented shifts, unprecedented grand cycles, with unprecedented collective awareness, all with the purpose of making it inescapable that we recognize the necessity of finding a different way of functioning and a different orientation. In this case, the shift is from the childish expectation that Nature will look after us, to the recognition that somehow, we must look after Nature, not merely to stop poisoning it.

The orchestration of the whole is bringing awareness of a collective and shared experience, and shared responsibility, to the fore. But what is to be done? We are not going to think our way out of this. There is no single technology that’s going to fix it. The difficulties here are embedded in human consciousness, in the ways we think and act and understand ourselves. For people like the colleague I mentioned earlier, someone who is moving in an awakening pattern, this is very obvious. What to do isn’t necessarily obvious, but the need to rise to a new level of understanding certainly is.

That brings us back to the question, What is the missing ingredient? One way to think about the underlying causes of the fever is to recognize that there are many burdens held in the consciousness of human beings. These burdens lead to all kinds of distorted and destructive behavior, individually and collectively. We have whatever awareness or understanding we have about what to do about this. Some people’s playbook tells them to just override and ignore them. Some seek to expunge them. Others try to rise above or transcend them. That may buy some space. But ultimately what is needed is to heal those factors from a place in oneSelf that is capable of doing that, with the quality of awareness and energy that is in position to offer healing.

But what’s needed goes beyond anything personal. There are also collective burdens, legacy patterns that have persisted for millennia that just sit on the heads of human beings, passed from one tribe to the next, from one community to the next, through the generations. For example, there is research now showing that the children of Holocaust survivors inherited genetic changes that had been produced by the trauma inflicted on their parents. The burdens even extend beyond the personal and beyond communities. There are factors in the collective unconscious, not attached to any particular human community, that are part of what got introduced into human consciousness as human beings diverged from participation in the whole. Some of these have been floating around for millennia, seeking residence in human beings. And they are mean. That’s an understatement. A better word: violent.

How are these factors going to be healed at a collective level? It’s one thing to provide a point of orientation, but I don’t think that’s enough. Nor, however, is there the need to do battle with these factors. It all needs healing, allowing it all to find release, to go wherever they wish, into the earth or into the atmosphere and disappear. These burdens have no place at the level of function where We Are, where I Am. And from that place, we can see and allow changes to transpire, healing to move.

There hasn’t been a collective vehicle to do this kind of work. That collective effort does not so require outer coordination so much as participation in the inner design that is being made evident anyway. We’re all being pointed, oriented towards seeing and acting on what is needed now. We have an unprecedented opportunity to do something that’s not safe, something that can offer healing at a level that has never been possible before. There are baseline requirements for this, and in some ways it does all boil down to the simplicity of expressing oneself and the Tone of that. The world has caught a fever. It can certainly be helpful to treat the symptoms as it is in any situation of illness to bring some relief, to buy some time for deeper healing. As I said, the source of the disease isn’t so evident as yet to people. It isn’t really the pumping of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. There’s something behind that.

Part of the value of a good healer is that they bring confidence. They give people the sense that “This can be handled,” something that evokes a response in the direction of wholeness. Of course, the outcome is never assured, and that’s certainly the case here. But to the degree that there’s interest, the attitude can be, we can get through this, but not by doing the same things we did to get here. That would be crazy, and I think it’s going to be increasingly obvious how crazy that really is. Human beings don’t handle disturbance terribly well. There is, therefore, the need to allow a release of the anxiety that arises as a result of intensifying symptoms as quickly as possible, with those who are willing.

The message to bring is, “We can do this, you can do this, and while it’s going to look worse for sure, there is a safe place to stand.” I think the level of how much worse things may get has not quite dawned on people. But it is starting to, and I think that presents an opportunity. It is also making more evident hidden collective factors that need to be released. There aren’t many people in position to do much about that, but I would suggest that we could, if we so choose. We are not here to be looked after by the earth, but here to look after the earth, to look after the whole, from a position that has been absent for a very long time. We have perhaps a glimpse. anyway, of what that might mean. Something is clearly working out. The orchestration of it is breathtaking. In that, we can have complete confidence, and can convey that in our every action. (Bill Isaacs, July 16, 2023. Bill.Isaacs@Dialogos.com)

WITH THE THREAT OF NUCLEAR WAR once again in the news engendering fear in the mass consciousness, I thought to repost a blog articles from last year completing a series on “Breaking the Cycles of War.” This time around, it isn’t only Putin dangling the nuclear carrot in the face of the West and NATO nations closing in on Russia. The cabal in the US and UK has been generating and fostering animosity against Russia in its ongoing efforts to maintain a “forever war” agenda.

My poet friend, Don Hynes, posted this comment on my previous blog post which I feel is worth republishing here.

Thank you for this post. It is well that humanity becomes aware of “sleepwalking” into nuclear confrontation. Our individual determination to peaceful resolution of the Ukraine and any conflict are key to how we might regain peace in this world.

Those who are most in need of such awakening are the collective “West,” i.e. US and EU. Just a few years ago one of the most educated populations in the world accepted the “science” about Covid and the Covid Vaxx that was amplified by weaponized empathy. The progression in our culture was from anti-Trump (I am not a Trump supporter) to Covid fear to mandated Vaxx to Ukraine war. The text in this progression was lies, weaponized empathy, government control and now war.

I believe the West is in an adolescent state of maturity. Self preoccupied with image, status and social hierarchy, the population is easily controlled and has not gone through the necessary steps to develop psychological and spiritual maturity. How many put the Ukraine flags on their various social media accounts without understanding the US engineered Maidan coup in 2014, the targeted murder of thousands of Russian speaking people in eastern Ukraine, the US funded and operated biolabs in eastern Ukraine, the moving of missiles into every eastern Europe member of NATO and which was in process in Ukraine when Putin struck back.

The engendered public hostility against Russia was instigated and funded by the failed Clinton campaign to cover their disastrous loss in 2016 and carried on throughout the Trump presidency. Trump’s own bellicosity did little to temper the growing anti-Russia sentiment, used by the US government to further enrich the military industrial surveillance complex that is devouring the wealth of the US and laying waste to many areas of the globe through senselessly provoked war.

The reason why most in the West think Russia is threatening nuclear confrontation is because those same threats that originate in the US and UK governments receive no press coverage, then when the Russian Foreign Minister or President responds the headlines are blared to the gullible population. The nonsense that Ukraine might be winning the war is carried across most if not all the major news outlets whereas the reality is that Ukraine has suffered horrendous casualties with a whole generation of Ukrainian men needlessly slaughtered.

As you know I am a very strong advocate for peace and peaceful resolution of conflict. I share this perspective with you in the spirit of de-escalation your post promotes, which I agree is critical at this time.

REPOSTING OF EXCERPTS FROM “Wheels Within Wheels: Breaking the Cycles of War”

As hard as the Cabal* tried to instigate wars, there inevitably appeared on the scene a hero whose actions averted a US attack on a Middle East country and a nuclear conflagration. Such was the case with Iran and Afghanistan. I will let David Wilcock tell how it all unfolded in this excerpt from his thoroughly researched and fascinating book The Synchronicity Key

THE SKY IS NOT FALLING—ONLY OUR BLINDFOLDS ARE

Smart Enough Not to Take the Bait

I was very relieved to discover that the United States appears to be increasingly pulling away from the Roman wars that occurred in the Age of Aries. The potential triggers were still offered to the public, right on schedule, but we finally got smart enough not to take the bait. Masson believed that the period from 1988 to 1992 could be as dangerous as the Cuban Missile Crisis nuclear showdown, if not more so — but the proxywar with the USSR in Afghanistan did not turn into a world nuclear Armageddon.

We also saw the original, short-lived Gulf War in Iraq, known as Desert Storm, in the key risk period of 1988 to 1992. This war began on August 2, 1990, when Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait. Aerial bombardment of Iraq began on January 17, 1991. Iraq declared a cease-fire only one hundred hours after the February 24, 1991, start of the ground campaign. Although many people died in the bombardment, Desert Storm was nowhere near the global disaster that Masson had feared it could have been if the zodiac cycle had exerted the full force of seemingly ancient Roman wars upon the destiny of the United States.

I graduated from high school in 1991, and that was also the last year I watched television on a regular basis. Since there was no Internet back then, I quickly made friends with books, because every time I turned on the television during the Gulf War, attractive female newscasters and unsmiling male anchors were interviewing “experts” who insisted the entire Middle East was about to light up like a huge, fiery cauldron of violence. Everyone was afraid that World War III was about to begin, fulfilling biblical prophecy — but the other Middle Eastern countries never took the bait. After all this time, they finally broke the old pattern and realized that the nemesis was trying to provoke them into having a violent reaction, in order to cause much greater harm — with vastly superior weapons.

American Heroes Block “Biblical Armageddon” in 2006

As we learned in the previous chapter, the period 1988 to 1992 in the Age of Pisces corresponds to Rome’s second war with Macedonia — from 172 to 168 B.C. — in the Age of Aries. The next significant event was Rome’s war against Lusitania, beginning in 154 B.C. When we look 2,160 years into the future, this brings us to the year 2006. Although it may seem, at first, that nothing significant happened in 2006, we did actually come very close to a disastrous war that same year.

On March 16, 2006, the United States formally declared war against Iran. The declaration appeared in that day’s National Security Strategy announcement: “We may face no greater challenge from a single country than from Iran …. When the consequences of an attack with WMD are potentially so devastating, we cannot afford to stand idly by as grave dangers materialize.”

This declaration also made it clear that the United States would use nuclear weapons to fight this conflict.” This was very serious, and it appeared that a nuclear first strike against Iran was imminent. The Cabal* wanted their biblical Armageddon as soon as possible. Thankfully, people in key positions rose to stop the cycle of violence from playing out as it had in Rome during the Age of Aries. John Negroponte, the director of national intelligence, became the hero who directly confronted the nemesis when he told the press in April 2006 that it would be “a number of years off” before Iran would be “likely to have enough fissile material to assemble into or to put into a nuclear weapon—perhaps into the next decade.”

A National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) that made the same conclusions about Iran was held up for more than a year by the Bush administration. It was finally released on December 4, 2007: “We judge that in fall 2003, Tehran halted its nuclear weapons program. Tehran has not restarted its nuclear weapons program as of mid-2007. We judge with high confidence that Iran will not be technically capable of producing and reprocessing enough plutonium for a weapon before about 20I5.”

The very beginning of this ground-breaking report said, “This NIE does not assume that Iran intends to acquire nuclear weapons.” The words “does not” were italicized in the original document. As of this writing in 20I3, it’s now been seven years since Rome started fighting the Lusitanian War in the previous zodiac cycle, during the Age of Aries but we still haven’t seen any overt aggression toward Iran. Nor are there any other major new wars. The United States does still maintain a presence in Afghanistan but has now largely pulled out of Iraq. I was quite relieved to discover that the old cycles finally appear to be breaking down.

If forgiveness is the key that will stop the Wheel of Karma from spinning, then it appears we are finally learning to love and accept one another. The nemesis can continue to harm us only if we fail to learn the lessons of forgiveness — and accept the temptation to turn against one another.

We Can Change the Outcome

It is very important to remember that we can change the outcome in these cycles. We are not trapped — and we do not need to keep repeating the same wars and atrocities again and again. As we learned earlier, we now have direct scientific proof that a small group of people can have a major effect on the behavior of the entire planet for the positive. Specifically, a group of seven thousand ordinary people was able to reduce worldwide terrorism by 72 percent — simply by meditating. They had similarly powerful effects in stopping wars, violent outbreaks, and loss of life. Fifty different scientific studies have validated this meditation effect. This proves that the cycles are not fixed. Wars will not keep repeating, right on schedule. We can change the outcome. The lesson is that if enough of us begin practicing peace in our lives, the ancient story finally achieves its purpose in bringing all of us face-to-face with the nemesis, so we can integrate our ego and learn not to blame one another for our feelings of pain, fear, and anger. We can finally master the lessons this pattern of archetypes is teaching us — and stop projecting our shadow onto others by making them into our nemeses.

We may then experience a stunning, worldwide curtain call, such as in a full breakdown of government, media, and financial secrecy. Based on the testimonies of multiple high-ranking witnesses I have personally interviewed, once the Cabal is fully exposed on the world stage, this will quickly lead to a disclosure of the advanced human relatives who have been assisting us — and were seen as gods in every ancient culture on earth. These people have been here all along but appear to have largely stepped behind the curtain since the rise of Islam in the 700’s in order to allow us to become a modern society. Because they remain shielded from public view, each person has the freedom to accept or reject the idea of their presence. This premise of free will is very important in the Law of One series, but once we shift into fourth density, at the end of the twenty-five-thousand-year cycle, everything changes. Apparently, as we settle into this new reality, we will graduate into an entirely new time structure with surprisingly different rules.

I have often said that if reincarnation has been proven to be a scientific fact, how can we assume that we will just keep coming back and repeating the same lessons, lifetime after lifetime? Isn’t there a point at which we learn the greatest teachings of the Hero’s Journey — and are now ready to step into a higher level of our own human evolution? (Wilcock, THE SYNCHRONICITY KEY)

ASCENSION 2019

Our Earth and the human species are about to step into a higher level of evolution. Between now and my next series, make time and space available to view this presentation by David Wilcock on the spiritual implications of what’s happening in our world today.  I’ve been following David for several years and I am more and more convinced that he is indeed the reincarnation of Edgar Casey. His message here is for the entire human race — at least for those of us who are awake and available to hear it.  The fact that you are following this blog indicates a heightened level of wakefulness.  His is an urgent message that I know you will appreciate hearing.

Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

*FOOTNOTE: The Federal Reserve: The Heart of the Cabal

Michel Helmer did not detect a cyclical connection between the Roman Empire and the United States before 1896. This was the year that big business bankers began seeing their plans realized with the election of the imperialist president McKinley. Under McKinley’s reign, the Cabal soon began an unprecedented expansion of its power, using the United States as its new staging area. After many years of planning, the big bankers — such as the Rockefeller-Standard Oil dynasty in America and the Rothschild banking dynasty in Europe — pooled their resources to create the Federal Reserve in 1913. The creation of the Federal Reserve effectively overthrew the US Constitution. Harry V. Martin published the following research online in 1995, before so many others discovered the same facts. Now, even the corporate media is increasingly beginning to discuss this hidden truth. The number of people who know the real story of the Federal Reserve has skyrocketed since I first began researching this mystery in 1992. According to Martin, “Article I, Section 8, clause 5 of the United States Constitution provides that Congress shall have the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof, and of any foreign coins. But that is not the case. The United States government has no power to issue money, control the flow of money, or to even distribute it. That belongs to a private corporation, registered in the State of Delaware—the Federal Reserve Bank.”

Holding Steady

Nuclear Armageddon

* * *

I HAD AN ENGAGING CONVERSATION, if not thoughtfully provocative, with a friend on Facebook this past weekend who, in my personal opinion and heart sensing, brings a steady breeze of cool air to the topic of nuclear threat — such as that which Russian President Vladimir Putin has been holding over the heads of Nato Nations, and the world for that matter, as he defends his Russia against encroaching threats to its sovereignty and security. I will share one of my friend’s interchanges because I feel that what he says about Putin’s rationale and nuclear “bluff”— and the difference between our mindset today and the level of human consciousness globally, compared to the days of the Cuban Missile Crisis back in 1962, when Russia moved nuclear missiles into Cuba creating a crisis of fear here in the US — is a fairly accurate assessment. Read it and see what you think.

Rodger: I am not pro-Russia nor pro-Putin.

NATO is the largest organized military in the world and has a military agenda. NATO is not philosophic, not diplomatic, not economic, not cultural, not religious or spiritual.

The language NATO speaks is military. Russia’s reply is in kind, military.

Putin gave repeated warnings of what would happen if NATO continued its advance to the Russian border (he doesn’t bluff.) Ignoring those warnings turned Ukraine into a boxing ring, with nuke-contenders NATO/ US in one corner and Russia in the other.

Russian aggression is not to take Ukraine; it’s purpose is to “wreck it”. That’s what Putin said would happen if NATO did not stop its advance, and that is what is happening.

For a nation to join NATO it must have no civil unrest, NO border disputes. Ukraine did not qualify, so this was never about joining NATO. This civil unrest also has DNA roots like Israeli vs Palestinian.  If you track the underlying Y-DNA R1 of the Russian ‘tribe’ that originally migrated out of Africa, you see it concentrates exactly where the present conflict is erupting.

In WWII, some of the people (tribe) sided with the Nazis, while the others fought against the Nazis alongside Russia.

In 2018 . . . when I saw Bruce Allyn . . . and Cynthia Lazaroff (founder of NuclearWakeUpCall.Earth), they were returning from meetings with key players in US-Russia relations. They said the world was heading straight into a repeat of the Cuban Missile Crisis and no-one (in leadership) was doing anything to address it. William Perry (US Secretary of Defence 1994 -1997):

“We are allowing ourselves to sleepwalk…to sleepwalk into another catastrophe… …We are, today, inexplicably recreating the conditions of the Cold War. Today the danger of some sort of nuclear catastrophe is greater than it was during the Cold War, and most people are blissfully unaware of this danger. Because we don’t understand the dangers we make no attempt, no serious attempt, to repair the hostility between the United States and Russia.” – end of quote.

[Well, not quite the end. Here’s the ending sentence: “And so we are allowing ourselves to sleepwalk into another catastrophe. We must wake up.”  However, as Rodger points out, we’re not entirely asleep any longer.]

The major difference (that can make a difference) today, regarding the nuclear threat erupting in Ukraine, is clearly not in leadership policies. The big difference is in hearts & minds. Human consciousness has evolved A LOT since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.

Whether it’s Burning Man or Coachella, Peak Performance or Shadow-work, Avatar or Scientology, Course in Miracles or Mankind Project, LCI Flame or just watching Oprah, the experience of a new thinking (empathy) is now global. Some people are fully aware of it, others experience(d) it but haven’t developed their agency at that level yet, so even though a majority still has no experience of new thinking, there is a lot more of it in the world today than there was in 1962. So today there is a choice. Instead of unconsciously repeating the lyrics of ‘Perfect Sense’, the world can start taking responsibility for what happens next.

Perfect Sense excerpt: ”Hold on hold on soldier. When you add it all up, the tears and the marrowbone, there’s an ounce of gold and an ounce of pride in each ledger. And the Germans killed the Jews, and the Jews killed the Arabs, and the Arabs killed the hostages – And that is the news.” End of lyric excerpt.

When Bruce was one of three organizing & facilitating talks with all key parties involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis (the Kennedy Admin, Kruschev Admin, and Castro Admin + all the military & Intelligence personnel involved) to ascertain how much of what brought the world to the brink of nuclear destruction was due to human error, it was part of a coordinated effort to understand how to “hold steady” in these matters.  Like I said, today there is a substantial collective reservoir of new thinkers supporting the coordinated efforts to “hold steady”

I HAVE BECOME DEATH, THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS”

THE FILM “OPPENHEIMER” by Christopher Nolan is being released this Summer — even as the threat of nuclear war is once again in the headlines of the news imposing itself on human consciousness, and as Europe’s largest nuclear power plants in Ukraine are being used as pawns in a game of chess — or rather Russian Roulette to see who is daring and insanely uncaring enough to pull the trigger. So I thought it would be timely to invite my readers — if you’re up for it — to take a few minutes to think deeply about what Robert Oppenheimer gave the world 78 years ago — “The Bomb to End all Wars” — and face it consciously and with deterrence as rationale rather than world-destruction — because there are no “winners” in nuclear war. Everyone loses, including the animals and creatures of the natural world, as well as much of the natural world itself.

I’m fairly certain that a critical number of people the world over are done with war, and are certainly not entertaining the thought, nor anticipating the likelihood, of a nuclear conflagration. “Enough is enough! Thus far and no further!” This is my command to the leaders of nations. Join me in speaking that command yourself. We do have the authority as incarnate Divine Beings to utter that command. In that vein, I share these words of authority:

Conscious Authority

All human experience has emerged from the unconscious levels in human minds and hearts. So there is the requirement of the conscious point of authority, and a point capable of giving required direction as well as providing the necessary orientation to the whole population of the earth. But as long as it is a matter of “we” and “us” there is always plenty of scope for failure. Only when it comes down to “I” and “me” does the basis for the operation of the way things really work begin to emerge.

Martin Cecil, June 13, 1982

“Let not your hearts be troubled.”

That advice is as good and necessary today as it was in Jesus’s day. I hesitated to use these images knowing that they have the potential of engendering fear of a nuclear Armageddon. However, I would encourage you, as you view them, to allow whatever of a fearful tone comes up in your heart and your thoughts to come on up and face them head on. Receive the feelings and thoughts into the fire of love burning at the core of your Being and let them be dissolved, their energy to be captured and integrated back into the Creative Process. In other words, give it all UP to the One from Whom all energy arises — including atomic nuclear energy. Give it back to God who knows what to do with it. Hold steady as we move through these days of war mongering and nuclear threats. Just hold steady. Let not your hearts be troubled. Let them rest in the safe hands of the Lord — in YOUR angelic hands — and in the wholesome assurance that all is well, unconquerable and unconditional love prevails.

Take these words to heart as you watch this brief documentary and allow the music to be a carrier wave for your intention and command: “This will not come to pass!”

I noted that those figures represent the count of nuclear weapons back in 2002. I don’t think I want to know what the count is today, twenty years down the path of self-destruction. Wake up world!

I leave you with the uplifting lyrics from an anthem developed In 1955 by Jill Jackson, the melody by her husband Sy Miller:

LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH

“Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.

Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be.
With God as our father
Brothers all are we.
Let me walk with my brother
In perfect harmony.
Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now.
With every step I take
Let this be my solemn vow:
To take each moment
And live each moment
In peace eternally.
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.”

Let there be peace in the world. I welcome your thoughts. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

HARMONIC EVOLUTION

Creativity is possible only in a unified field where balance, harmony and ease
prevail in the Human Being.

Cymatic images by John Stuart Reid of Cymascope Institute

WE LIVE IN A TONAL UNIVERSE shaped by twelve tones and their harmonics. A harmonic is an overtone created by a root or progenitor tone. I will go to my ATTUNEMENT WITH SACRED SOUND book for an explanation. (Click on the image above to enlarge)

HARMONCS AND THE GOLDEN MEAN RATIO

A “HARMONY OF NUMBERS”

Let’s take a few pages to delve into the fascinating phenomenon of harmonics, also known as “overtones.” Simply explained, sounds create sounds, in much the same way as a single ripple on the surface of water creates a whole series of ripples that move outward to create a beautiful pattern of concentric circles. Dr. June Wieder explains this vibrational phenomenon and its discovery by Pythagoras: When we hear a note played on a musical instrument or sung by a voice, it is not just pure single tones that are heard, but a mixture of tones called partials. The lowest frequency is called the fundamental and the higher frequencies are referred to as overtones. Each overtone is a geometric multiple of the fundamental. These overtones (harmonics) give beauty and fullness to sound.

In the 6th century BC, Pythagoras, using a single-stringed instrument called the monochord, developed a theory of musical harmony based on whole-number ratios. He believed that by studying the monochord, one could come to know the secrets of the universe (one string, one song). He told his followers that when dealing with harmonic principles, they should ignore their ears, because hearing was prone to variation and error. He wanted them to work primarily with the harmony of numbers.

Pythagoras related the pitch of a tone to the length of the string that creates the sound. The shorter the string, the higher is the note that is created. Instead of using measured lengths, Pythagoras worked out a system using ratios of the lengths, a process that leads to a 12-note scale. This system is still in use today. To Pythagoras, harmony was created by a numerical ratio that not only occurred in music, but also was an essential component in architecture, and was even perceptible in the heavens. This special ratio — designated phi, and equal to 1.618 — has been referred to as the Golden Mean, the Golden Ratio, the Golden Section, and the Divine Proportion. (Wieder, Song of the Spine, pp 23-24)

On overtones, Ted Andrews writes: Almost every sound, musical or not, has overtones… These vibrations are set in motion at the same time as the primary, or progenitor, tone. For example, if the note of middle C is struck on the piano, the strings for the notes of C, G, E, B-flat, etc. above middle C also begin to vibrate — although barely audibly. Four or five overtones are normally detectable and recognized in music, but theoretically the overtones extend much further than the human ear can detect. Thus, when we use music, sound, words, affirmations or prayers, we need to be aware that we are setting in motion overtones that will affect us as well. Those overtones are determined by the emotional and mental states of our energies and influence the manner in which our prayers manifest our intentions—or fail to do so, as the case
may be. (Andrews, SACRED SOUND)

“The Inner Overtones or Sacred Sound Current”
In his masterfully written book on vocal toning, Sound Medicine—The Complete Guide to Healing with the Human Voice, Wayne Perry writes in chapter 22, The Inner Overtone or Sacred Sound Current: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. – St. John”

“This Word is not, as is usually believed, a written word. Actually, it is a power that emanates continuously from the Supreme Being, the Power that created and now sustains the vast universe of universes.”

The saints and perfect masters teach their disciples how to contact this power, which is everywhere present…and is heard by initiates as the most enchanting and enrapturing harmony or melody. This music is not only beautiful, it is also purifying and uplifting. It purifies the human mind, and then draws the soul upwards with an irresistible Power—the Power of Love of the Supreme God Himself.” (Manaraj Sawan Singh)

“For ages mystics and sages have made reference to the Sacred Sound or Celestial Melody that can be found within every one of us. It is the eternal, primordial Sound, which emanating from Divine Loving Consciousness or God, manifests and sustains creation. It is a holistic Sound reverberating throughout the entirety of existence and resonating in every cell of the human body, giving us life and consciousness.

“The real Masters of the Sound Current are those who have achieved the ultimate and highest state of consciousness through meditation on the Divine Sound within while still resident in the physical body. On the spiritual plane, these masters are One. They have traversed the many inner regions of sound, light, love, and spirit—humbly and lovingly offering us the benefit of their wisdom and direct experience. When a spiritual seeker is ready, the master reveals the secrets of the Inner Overtone or Sound Current and the means by which we may return “home” on it…

“The outer instruments of sound can be seen as imitations of and a metaphor for the pure, inner sounds. For example, the ringing of bells is mentioned in the scriptures of all religions. Bells hang from domes within Buddhist and Hindu temples. Whoever enters the temple rings a bell. In the human head, which is also similar to a dome, one may hear the Inner Overtone or Divine Melody. In the same manner, Christian churches have high steeples in which a bell is hung. These are based on the shape of the nose. In the human body, “temple of the living God,” when the soul is concentrated at a point between the two eyebrows, the “seat of the soul,” one hears the sound of the bell.”

(Overtones to the tone of the bell are clearly audible in this video)

HARMONICS & RESONANCE

As we saw earlier, when any given pitch is produced, other pitches called overtones, partials or harmonics, sound simultaneously with the given pitch, many of which are inaudible to the human ear. These overtones are higher than the original tone, and in the same intervallic relationship as found in the successive divisions of the string. These are the first 16 overtones or harmonics created using Middle C (256 hz) as the fundamental and extending four octaves:

C (256 hz) – C (octave, 512 hz.) – G (Perfect fifth,768 hz.) – C (octave, 1024 hz.) – E (Major third, 1280 hz.) – G (Perfect fifth, 1536 hz.) – B= (minor seventh, 1792 hz.) – C (octave, 2048 hz.) – D (Major second, 2304 hz.) – E (Major third, 2560 hz.) – F# (augmented fourth, 2816 hz.) – G (perfect fifth, 3072 hz.) – A (minor sixth 3328 hz.) – Bb (minor seventh, 3584 hz.) – B (Major seventh3840 hz.) – C (octave, 4096 hz.) (Goldman, Healing Sounds, p 26.)

This image provides a visual of the parabolic graph made by these harmonics. The twin rows of harmonics represent the universal forces of contraction (overtones) and expansion (undertones), which for many theosophists are at the core foundation of Being, and both necessary for Creation to emerge from Chaos. Applying this to music, one may consider a single tone, say Middle C, surrounded by its overtones and undertones.

THE DIVINE PROPORTION (1.618)

Also referred to as the Golden Mean, as mentioned earlier, as well as the Magic Ratio, the Divine Proportion was closely studied by the Greek sculptor Phidias, and as a result, it took on the name of Phi. The Phi ratio (1.618) can be found throughout the universe; from the spirals of galaxies to the spiral of a Nautilus seashell; from the harmony of music to the beauty in art.

The Divine Proportion presents itself in the very physical nature of Creation. Here we see the Divine Proportion demonstrated by the spiral design in the Nautilus seashell. It is seen as the beauty and organization within the cosmos. It is the harmony and glue that holds the unity of the universe. Here is a line graphic to help you more easily understand the Divine Proportion ratio.

[Line AB is to line AC as line AC is to line CB]
A______________(1)______________B

A______(.618)________C__________B

Line AB is (1) and line AC is (.618) of line AB. Thus we have the ratio 1.618. Another way of saying this is, divide the line so that the longer portion (.618) is to the shorter portion what the entire line is to the longer portion.

To Pythagoras, harmony was created by this special numerical ratio that not only occurred in music, but also was an essential component in architecture, and was even perceptible in the heavens. The Phi ratio of the Diviner Proportion is operative in the creation of what are called “harmonics” or “overtones” in music. As you can see in this line graphic, the pitch Sol, which is the first harmonic called the “dominant tone,” is located in the scale at the point of the Divine Proportion .618. The Divine Proportion and the “Healing Fifth.” (Click on image to enlarge)

A CONCERT OF UNIVERSAL VIBRATIONSBEYOND DARWIN

“The most fundamental statement of the Pythagoreans was that numbers constitute the unmovable principle of the world; the very essence of reality. When they discovered that the proportions among musical harmonics could be expressed in a simple and exact form, they considered that the cosmos itself was a harmonious system of numerical reasoning: all reality could be expressed by means of relationships among numbers. According to the Pythagoreans the inherent numerical order of sounds was directly related with the very organization of the universe. For them, music was therefore nothing other than the expression of the inner relationships of the cosmos. They even affirmed that all material manifestation was the result of the concert of universal vibrations.

“At the beginning of 20th century, physicists were confused on discovering that, far from presenting itself as predicted as a continuous flow, the energy emitted or absorbed by atoms presents itself in a quantifiable way, in very precise packages. For several decades, they tried to explain this strange phenomenon by seeking a sound new mathematical theory for the atom that would generate these quantum numbers in a natural way. The solution arrived with the proposition of the similarity between the world of electrons and that of musical harmonics —standing waves, thereby happily giving rise to the surprisingly precise wave equation as the fundamental piece of revolutionary Quantum Physics. It thus seems that we are literally made of music, that we are pure abstract relationships in an unsubstantial reality, the acoustic appearance of the quantum void, the silent music and the sonorous solitude that amazed our mystics so much. . . .

“We stated previously that the new science considers the universe in a holistic way; in other words, that it perceives nature as an integrated wholeness, as a non–fragmented, undivided overall movement. We have also seen how the evolutionary dynamics of this unified universe displays its novelties in a discontinuous manner; just as the deepest transformations of evolution come about suddenly and abruptly. This generates a progressively more complex and more inclusive hierarchy of organization levels. We find, once again, a vibrating element —the evolving universe— that channels its energy flow in a highly defined series of levels of stability. Like atoms. Like musical instruments.

“Both in the world of atomic physics as in the world of music, the secret of their sudden leaps and discontinuities in sound was revealed thanks to standing waves and musical harmonics. Could not the same occur in the field of evolution? Does it not sound very coherent that this unified universe that we are starting to discover generates similar creative patterns at its different levels of organization? Does it not therefore sound appealing that the sudden evolutionary changes in the history of the universe respond precisely to these same standing waves that are the explanatory key of both the subatomic and musical world? This has been the basic intuition that has given rise to our hypothesis regarding the rhythm of evolution. . . .”

I know this blog post is highly technical musically, but I hope that I have given my readers cause for celebrating the wonders of God’s creative genius. He is, after all, the Master Musician and Ultimate Composer of the Music of the Spheres — and He doesn’t do things in a haphazard way but follows His own Laws and Ordinances. Being in tune and harmony with those laws and ordinances, we live out our lives in Love with the Truth of Life.

I welcome your thoughts and insights, reflections and inspirations. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

New World Catalysts

“I have thrown fire upon the world. Look! I watch it until it blazes.”

—Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas

I WILL SPEAK of conscious angelic emergence and revelation and of disclosure of dark forces and wickedness in high places in this writing. There is a passage in the New Testament that speaks of entertaining angels unawares:

“Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. “ (Hebrews 13: 1-2)

There’s another passage that speaks about angels of a different sort incarnate in “rulers of the darkness” in high positions of power:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. “  (Ephesians 6:12)

We live in a pivotal moment in the cycles of restoration of mankind to its ordained place in the Divine Design of life in this universe.  The cycles have moved to a point of completion and angelic hosts have incarnated with a shared mission of finishing the work of restoration initiated by great beings who came on earth solely for that purpose. Among them were Jacob (Israel), Abraham, Moses and the Master Jesus.

Archangel Michael is also one such Being, and he brings with him his angelic hosts who stood with him in casting Satan and his angels out of Heaven and down into the earth.  That’s the story handed down to us by St. John in The Book of Revelation, or Apocalypse — the words are synonymous.

There is a wrestling going on today between the forces of light and the forces of darkness in this world. That wrestling is taking place once again in heaven, only this time it is waging in the old heaven of the old earth.  The heaven of this earth is the mass consciousness of mankind . . . out of which every man woman and child on earth conduct their lives. As above so below. As it is in heaven so is it on earth.  It’s in the old heaven where the principalities and rulers of the darkness of the world, the “spiritual wickedness in high places” wage war against God in order to seize possession of this planet and all of the life forms on Earth. That old heaven is passing away along with the old earth.

A CONSPIRACY OF LOVE-CASTING

Now, you can believe this or not. It doesn’t change the truth. “The truth is true, and all is well. Unconquerable life prevails.” Human beings have the free will to choose their alignment with Life or with death; with the Light of Love or with the darkness of fear. “Choose ye this day whom ye will serve,” Joshua declares. “As for me and my house, we serve the Lord,” he further declares. (Joshua 25) Let this increasingly be so for all beings on earth.

Call me a “conspiracist” if you like. I will not object. I do indeed conspire with millions of incarnate angels in casting the light of love upon the world. We watch it as it already is ablaze with fire — burning away the shackles holding souls captives of deception . . . as well as the shadowy hideouts of wickedness in high places. Everything in the dark shadows is being revealed in this day of the apocalypse of light. Join the forces of light, if you haven’t already done so. Awaken to your angelic presence and mission on earth. One of the markers of awakening is when you begin to observe your human behavior as something separate from you, like a puppet pulled here and there by the strings of the puppeteer. The puppeteer is the self-active human mind playing God.

There’s a wise teaching I learned years ago: “If you can see it, it isn’t you.” You cannot see your Self, because a state cannot observe itself. When you observe your behavior, sometimes in horror, know that you are experiencing conscious angelic emergence. The only thing left to do is to align your behavior with the beauty of your Being. “What you think about will come about,” someone said. Think of your angelic presence and the beautiful angel you are will begin to manifest in your outer behavior.

Some timely words spoken by a South Korean friend and colleague just came to me via a post on social media by another South Korean friend and colleague: “What’s emphasized in our consciousness? That which receives our emphasis magnifies. When there are those who emphasize the beauty of Being, no matter the tide of fear in the world or in oneself, there is the emergence of light.” That light is who and what you are. You are the light of your world.

A LIGHT RISES ON THE WORLD STAGE

There is a light emerging on the world stage of an angelic presence conscious of his role in exposing wickedness in high places who is putting himself on the line calling for peace and prosperity for all human beings. He comes from a family of voices speaking truth to power now hushed by the dark forces. I have followed him for years and hold this warrior for truth in a protective field of love and safety. God is with him. I pray for him daily. If you are not already aware of him, you will know him when you hear his unique voice and feel the power of his angelic fire and the authority of his spirit. For decades he has been a voice crying in the wilderness of manipulative lies and deception. He is a champion of the environment and advocate for children’s health and mothers. May God bless and protect him in his mission and campaign.

(Visit my friend Will Wilkinson’s blog post for more specifics: https://open.substack.com/pub/willtwilkinson/p/connecting-the-dots?r=sp9zj&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email)

ANGEL FIRE

I know that of which I speak and write here, for I know the fire of my own angelic nature. I also know something about wrestling with angels. The devil of the self-active human mind — aka the dragon — wrestles with the angel incarnate to try and talk him/or her out of coming forth in full glory. When you see this happening in your own experience, know that your angelic emergence is at hand and the destination of your spiritual journey has arrived. Now it only remains for you to “emphasize the beauty of Being,” as my South Korean friend’s words direct. Stand in the holy place of your own divine angelic presence and face your world with radiant authority. We are holy beings, made in the image and likeness of our Divine Creator. Command the devil of your own self-active mind to get behind you. “Get thee behind me, Satan!”

One best not wrestle with angels. Entertain them unawares, but don’t wrestle with them. Be consciously aware of your own angelic emergence . . . and come on forth into the world to shine your light of love, of truth and of life.

This is the generation that is reserved unto fire: the purifying fire of love. This is as well the day of reckoning, the day which the Lord hath made.  Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

“Reciprocal Feeding”

“The rain keeps falling and the vapor keeps rising.” —John Muir

THE CYCLE OF WATER on earth, rising as vapor with the sun’s heat and falling as rain to water and cool the earth, reminds me of a passage in Genesis:

“But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” (Gen. 2:6-7).

Old Faithful at Yellowstone

JOHN MUIR wrote about this cycle when describing one of the features of the natural world faithfully demonstrated by the hot springs at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming: “The rain keeps falling and the vapor keeps rising.” Water plays a vital role in our physical anatomy and physiology. So much so that the Creator waited until it had rained on the garden before forming man from the dust of the ground. Wet with rain the dust became molding clay — not that this is how the Creator formed man. But I think you get my point. Water has been in our lives from the beginning of life on earth, as has the cycle of water from vapor to rain and back again to vapor as the energy of the sun warms the air and the surface of the waters.

Metaphorically, in this cyclical exchange the sun represents love, water symbolizes truth, and the gift of their communion is life shared by all breathing beings and living forms on earth. However, this is a “two-way Universe,” as Walter Russell demonstrates in THE UNIVERSAL ONE, and the cycle isn’t complete until something is given back. Something needs to return to the Source of Love: the vapor of heartful responsive love, praise and thanksgiving in a returning cycle. This is our role as stewards of the Creative Process.

When the heart is open upward in love response to God’s love streaming down and moving upon the surface of the waters of consciousness, a mist-like substance is generated and ascends heavenward to provide a bridge of plasma between Heaven and Earth. This plasma was given the name “pneumaplasm” by Uranda, and it forms the “silver cord” of connection between us and our Creator. It is by way of this silver cord that God communicates with us — giving and receiving — and we communicate with God — receiving and giving. I believe it is part of the means by which angels, incarnate and disincarnate, communicate.

As with the water cycle where the vapor rises toward the sun, and in its ascent creates clouds and atmosphere around the earth that reflect light, so does our love response to Love given and received from Source create an atmosphere around us that reflects the light of our own radiant divine being. We then become suns to our worlds.

AS BELOW SO ABOVE

This exchange of vapor between the oceans of the earth below and the atmosphere and rain clouds above is a reflection of an exchange occurring between the higher realms. Cynthia Bourgeault writes beautifully about this exchange in EYE OF THE HEART, which I shared in a earlier post “The Great Exchange Between the Realms.” If you haven’t read this earlier post, then I recommend you do so in order to deepen your understanding of this process Gurdjieff describes as Reciprocal Feeding. This exchange is dramatically and colorfully demonstrated with the Arora Borealis’ rain of charged particles from the sun feeding our planet with replenishing sun-substance.

WHAT ARE WE HERE FOR?

I would like to take this consideration to the higher realms of Gurdjieff’s “Ray of Creation,” Worlds 6 through 24, launching from World 48, “Mixtus Orbis,” where we live and have our being on Earth, pausing in World 24, the kingdom of heaven, where the gifts of Spirit rain down from above to bless mankind and the earth through the open hearts of human beings, bringing the “kingdom of heaven” (world 24) down to earth (world 48).

(I refer you to my post of May 8th for a review of Gurdjieff’s “Worlds Within Worlds.”)

Continuing from my previous post, Cinthia Bourgeault posed a question at the end of the excerpt. She then proceeds to give her answer, in which she makes a distinction between eros and agape love:

* * *

But what if there is no mistake? No fall? What if this frustrating arrangement furnishes exactly the right conditions for the expression of something that can be expressed in no other way? Suppose there is some quintessence of the divine heart that can reveal itself only under these conditions, only when thus Tensioned, like a cello string pegged between heaven and earth? And if so, what might this quintessence be?

What if it is love?

Well, that’s not how we were taught to think about it, is it? “God is love” is almost the first thing you learn in Sunday school, furnishing the complete and sufficient explanation for the created order. From the effulgence of divine love the visible world comes forth, imperfectly reflecting a quality that already exists in divine perfection. But if seven decades of living into the Christian Mystery have brought me anything, it is the growing clarity that love is not the alpha; it is the omega. The agape love that nearly universally is assumed to be the starting point for creation is not in fact the starting point. It is the fruit of a long transformative journey whose eye of the needle is right here, sitting squarely on that mi-fa shock point.

The mystics, of course, have long intuited that something like this might be the case. I have spoken already about Boehme’s brilliant intuition that “the impressure of nothingness into something” is not accomplished without, like Odysseus, engaging the Scylla of constriction and the Charybdis of desire. In those first primordial stirrings by which the “Endless Unity” brings himself into “divisibility and perceptivity,” there is no effulgence of agape; there is only constriction, compression, and craving.

The Endless Unity begins its journey into form by a fundamental self-tensioning, compacting the only “raw material” as yet at hand — the divine will into a “magnetic hunger'” (which is at that point insatiable since nothing as yet exists on which to slake it) so that a current begins to arise within the Divine Unity that will eventually draw all things toward the whirlpool of being. The current thereby generated, streaming out into World 6 as the fundamental creative force, is not agape but eros, the pure creative fire of attraction and desire.

Mystics of all ages have felt this erotic force churning and pulsing through the entire cosmos, not only as its enlivening passion but as its basic structural principle.” But this is not yet the deepest and most mature realization of love itself. It is not yet that most intimate laying bare of what lies hidden in the divine heart.

The “coarse material” contributed for this transfiguration of eros is our own finitude. Only when love enters the constructal givens of this world and encounters the constrictions of choice, finality, separation, tragedy, betrayal, and heartbreak do its most tender and exquisite facets begin to emerge — qualities such as steadfastness, tenderness, commitment, forbearance, fidelity, and forgiveness. These mature and subtle flavors of love make no sense in a world where everything simply flows. They are cured on the rack of time — and at that, only in the awakened human heart willing to consciously bear the conditions as intentional suffering. A = ek is my own alchemical formula for this, where a = agape, e = eros, and k is the kenotically surrendered heart. (Kenosis, of course, is the Greek term used by St. Paul in his celebrated hymn in Philippians 2:5-11 to convey the radical non-clinging that comprises the very essence of the mind of Christ.)? When that depth of surrender is laid before the surging force of eros, then the inexpressible music begins to sound.

Is it simply another one of those imaginal felicities that the name de Pasquale means “paschal?” For of course this same alchemical formula is at the heart of that one great mystery for which “God so loved the world that he gave his only son.” Yes, of course there were other options. “Do you think I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?” says Jesus as the soldiers come to arrest him in the garden at Gethsemane. But then the eye of the needle would be sidestepped.

If here in the density of World 48 is exactly the place where the quintessence of the elixir of agape is to be extracted, then the conditions must not be overridden but rather lined-with the grace of that flowing, higher luminosity, lined with World 24, so to speak — so that the crucible of transformation can be endured here, so that it does not break our spirits. That is for me the imaginal meaning of the paschal mystery. Our Common Father really does love this world, because it is here that the restless roving and churning of that sea of eros comes to rest, and we hear in the silence the still, small voice of love.

This is also for me the real charter of the conscious circle of humanity. We are called to work back and forth across the divide of finitude not because the conditions here at the denser level are false, but because they are hard. Help is needed here, and it is freely and gratefully given. Because what we give back here, though miniscule and always, I suppose, clumsily offered, is indeed that “hidden treasure” for whose sake the entire created order came into being.

* * *

Of course, there was a “fall.” A fall from grace and stature by original man (male and female), as Genesis records, and of which many myths and legends tell. Thus the need for a crucible here in world 48 to provide a way back to world 24, Eden, through the “eye of the needle”– a phrase of biblical origin used by the Master Jesus in speaking of the kingdom: “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” (Mark 10:25) This was not just a parable. There was a small archway door in the wall around Jerusalem called “the eye of a needle” of which Jesus was speaking, and his audience knew well the problem camels have passing through it. All of the baggage and supplies, including the rider, had to be removed from off the camel’s back, which had to kneel down and crawl forward in order for it to pass through this small archway.

Well, I don’t think the King wants us to crawl to Him on our bellies. That said, the only way we can return to the Kingdom of God is by unloading our baggage of false identities, beliefs and troubles and bow down in humility before the King. We can do this easily with the “grace of that flowing higher luminosity . . . so that the crucible of transformation can be endured here, so that it does not break our spirits.” By the grace of the King, the crucible will not be heated beyond our capacity to endure purification. While speaking of these “end days” when the old earth shall pass away, the Master was recorded as saying: “if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.” (Mark 13:20) I don’t think it’s anybody’s business who “the elect” are, though some religious sects proclaim they are.

EROS AND AGAPE

I will speak to Cynthia’s scenario of Love’s creating process wherein she writes “love is not the alpha; it is the omega. The agape love that nearly universally is assumed to be the starting point for creation is not in fact the starting point. It is the fruit of a long transformative journey whose eye of the needle is right here, sitting squarely on that mi-fa shock point.”

Eros and Agape may be thought of as two ends of the same Creative Process of Love, which Uranda formulated in five steps: Radiation — Response — Attraction — Union — Unified Radiation. Unified radiation implies a collective grouping of people drawn together by Love to “Let Love radiate without concern for results,” as Uranda instructed. As we well know, love is an irresistibly attractive force, and it will draw unto itself resonant substance — the elect. What doesn’t elect to resonate with Love’s beautiful Tone simply drops down to lower levels where it may continue to participle in the purification and transmutation cycles of the Creative Process.

THE “CONSCIOUS CIRCLE OF HUMANITY”

As groupings of light workers and attunement servers — Gurdjieff’s conscious circle of humanity, if you please — increase in number and work synchronously together, the frequency of the collective consciousness shifts to a higher vibration where fear and its companion “flavors” cannot be sustained. Peace and love and their companion flavors, thankfulness and generosity — “qualities such as steadfastness, tenderness, commitment, forbearance, fidelity, and forgiveness” Cynthia mentions above — enlighten and transform human consciousness, and subsequently human behavior. Wars and crimes can thus become impossible to enact. Ultimately, disease and death pass away with the passing of the old heaven and the old earth.

The old heaven and earth pass away as we give our lives over to stewarding the emergence of the New Heaven and the New Earth — as we let “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” In a word, when we give our utter love to the King and welcome Him into our hearts where He rightly establishes and reigns in His Kingdom on earth. Our love rising to our Lord and King extends our invitation and welcome to Him to return and abide with us once again.

THE EARTH IS SACRED

I will leave you to ponder these words of Martin Exeter:

The true nature of man is God. This certainly does not indicate that all that God is is man, but all that man is is God, rightly. Awakening to this awareness, then the setting in which we find ourselves, the earth itself, is seen to be a sacred place, a holy place. There is one way by which God can walk on this planet, and the facility is man. (Martin Exeter, April 7,1985)

I welcome your thoughts, insights, and comments. Until my next post and series,

Be love. Be loved.

Our Essential Earth

* * *

Our Home among the stars

* * *

I was a hidden treasure and I longed to be known, so I created the worlds visible and invisible” (Islamic Hadith Qudsi)

ON MY SPIRITUAL PATH HEAVENWARD, I met God on His way here. On my way back earthward, I came to a place in consciousness where I know and know that I know that HERE on EARTH is where to be in order to experience the fullness of Creation in a participatory role. All said and done, I will miss this world after I depart for higher mansions in our Father’s House. I will volunteer to return for sure; maybe ask for an assignment in the East, like India or South Africa, or even South in New Zealand. There’s so much beauty on this planet, much of it untouched by humans. Yes, I will most certainly return, God willing.

I just finished reading a section in EYE OF THE HEART — a beautiful “love story” written by Cynthia Bourgeault — where she shares some of her insights and perspectives relative to this Earth plane and its role in complementing the “Ray of Creation” Gurdjieff expounds upon in his copious writings. I will go directly to her words — which include a profoundly uplifting and deeply penetrating personal experience of epiphany.

IN MY CITATION several times now of key excerpts from William Segal’s essay “The Force of Attention,” I have repeatedly called attention to his comment, “Without the upward transmission of energies through the medium of conscious attention, the world would give in to entropy.” But I have so far deliberately sidestepped the sentence that directly precedes this assertion and is in fact essential to its interpretation.

The full paragraph . . . reads as follows:

Attention is not only mediating; it is transmitting. Giving and receiving, God speaks to man. Receiving and giving, man speaks to God. Just as man’s structure needs to be vivified by the infusion of finer vibrations, those very same vibrations require the mixing of coarse material for their maintenance. Without the upward transmission of energies through the intermediary of conscious attention, the universe would give in to entropy. In man, the smallest deformation of a balanced attention closes down this two way communication. (bold emphasis added)

I have called out the critical sentence in italics because now is the time to address it directly. What is this “coarse material” that is somehow needed for the maintenance of the cosmic equilibrium, and what is our part in furnishing it? And note that by “our” I am not speaking in this case simply about us human beings, but “our” in the sense of the lower realms themselves. What part does “coarseness” play in maintaining the Ray of Creation? Why is mi, our beloved mixtus orbis, not simply a cosmic folly or illusion, but a vital player in the whole unfolding?

. . . . Axial religion — the term now commonly used to designate the great efflorescence of spiritual breakthrough and insight that sprang up worldwide in a remarkably compressed time period between roughly 800 and 200 BCE — is generally weak on this point. Across the sweep of the great sacred traditions (with the notable exception, perhaps, of shamanism) we encounter a pervasive sense that “here is not home.” Whether you call it exile, fall, or illusion (the three prevailing assumptions in the combined metaphysics of East and West), there is a deep unease about this condition of embodiment and a general assumption that coarseness is itself an impediment to the full attainment of the enlightened state. That should probably be stated much more strongly: not only an impediment, but the impediment, the chief roadblock.

On the maps of consciousness we have been exploring, “coarse” (a.k.a. “gross”) is always at the bottom, and given the overall Neoplatonic skew of axial metaphysics, there is an almost inevitable tendency to equate density with a “fallen” condition. “Gross” in the physical sense — roundly corpuscular — quickly melds into “gross” in the emotional sense — vile and repulsive. My own teaching in these pages has of course drawn on many of the traditional metaphors (ladder of ascent, Great Chain of Being) reflecting these built-in biases; it is virtually impossible to enter the metaphysical conversation without them.

But is this really an illusion, this beautiful, fragile constructal zone we briefly inhabit and water with our tears? Christianity in its finer moments intuited that there might be more to the story — “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son,” in the venerable words of John 3:16. At its epicenter it carries an unquenchable certitude that something goes on here of such inestimable worth that even the formless Infinite would be compelled to take form — “make himself an element,” in Teilhard’s rendition — in order to uphold and sanctify this preciousness on its own terms. But this totally on-target mystical intuition could never fight its way upstream against the flood tide of world-hating and body-denying metaphysics that surged out to meet it. More fundamentally, the problem was — and remains to this day — that from within the metaphysical givens at hand, it was impossible to say why that love was so tendered in the first place. So the question was sidestepped. “Giving his Son” became instead the consummate demonstration of the preeminent divine agape, and our human role was simply to adore and obey.

Gurdjieff made a heroic beginning at a new metaphysical paradigm in which something can actually be seen. Although few of his admirers have had the gumption to wade into those spiraling hydrogen chains portraying the ostensible biochemistry of the Trogoautoegocrat, his model can at least be applauded for what it is: a brilliant attempt to demonstrate on an empirical and material basis what contribution our mixtus orbis makes to the greater cosmic equilibrium. From behind all the intricate detail there emerges an overall picture of the biosphere — organic life on earth — as itself a crucial stabilizing and mitigating influence in the overall planetary harmony. The “coarse material” is our own organic existence here in this tiny corner of the Megalocosmos, and what it contributes (whether by conscious donation or involuntary reappropriation) is a vital part in the overall homeostasis that allows anything to be in the first place. Gurdjieff’s sweeping vision of a single, intricately interwoven cosmic “self-specifying system” in which everything has its unique role to play still seems to me a far stronger vehicle for the arousing of genuine human conscience than the standard theological models emphasizing the total self-sufficiency of God and the essentially gratuitous nature of our human existence here.

My own response will again return us to theological language — though hopefully not to a replay of those same old scripts. I want to begin directly with the question itself: What part does “coarseness” play in the overall dynamism of manifestation? What does it contribute to the mix that would be missing or inexpressible without it? And, if you will permit me, I would like to ease into this question by way of a story. It’s actually a picture as much as it is a story, a picture burned onto my heart during a rather extraordinary fifteen minutes in a concert I attended many years ago.

I had gone that afternoon with a friend to hear the de Pasquale String Quartet offer an all-Beethoven program at the Delaware Art Museum. These brothers four — William (first violin), Robert (second violin), Joseph (viola), and Francis (cello) — were all respectively first chairs in the Philadelphia Orchestra, or in other words, some of the finest string players in the world. They were clearly about to put their mastery to the test, for included on the program was the formidable Opus 132. This exquisite late quartet, one of Beethoven’s final works, boasts a third movement that is virtually unplayable. For something approaching fifteen minutes it simply shimmers like the full moon on the ocean, gradually building intensity but along a path so subtle as to be almost beyond the reaches of human artistry. Almost inevitably, an aspiring quartet will either play the movement too “yang,” trampling over it like an eighteen-wheeler on a golf course, or too “yin,” losing the subtle inner momentum so that the whole thing turns to mush.

Three minutes into the movement it became electrifyingly clear that they were going to nail it. They were exactly in the groove, riding the razor’s edge with an apparently effortless intensity. As the momentum steadily built, audience and players fused into a single stream of crystalline attention. The energy in the room was electric; the excitement became more and more palpable.

Curiously, however, as the energy mounted, the de Pasquale brothers seemed to get quieter and quieter, contracting into a kind of laser-like stillness. No emotion showed on their faces, not a single extraneous gesture — only the soft play of their hands on the bowstrings and an occasional blink of an eye. They had literally “melted” before the music, with only the backbone of their bare presence and their years of cumulative experience to draw down lightning from the sky. I did not know at the time exactly what I was witnessing, but I could feel its force already working in me. Little did I know that the musical icon they became for me in that timeless few moments would in turn become one of the cornerstones of my own theological understanding.

I believe, fundamentally that that’s what we contribute; what the gift of coarseness contributes. Holy denying. Second force. Gravitas. The backbone of form that draws down the lightning from heaven. Light is said to be dark in outer space until it strikes an object; perhaps that’s what finitude furnishes. The grace of materiality is that it allows something to materialize, i.e., to come into existence and self-expression, to contribute its own unique mode of being to that great single outspeaking of the name of God.

“I was a hidden treasure and I longed to be known, so I created the worlds visible and invisible” is how one of the great mystical sayings of the Islamic Hadith Qudsi pictures the primordial divine yearning for intimacy and self-disclosure that got the whole cosmogonic ball rolling in the first place. Each world along the Great Chain of Being is not merely the next step in a mathematical progression; it is a specific set of conditions that allows for the expression of some very specific aspect of the divine heart. And in fact, the word cosmos in the original Greek actually means “ornament.” If rather than seeing these worlds as beads on a chain we saw them as balls on a Christmas tree, we might better understand how each of these precious cosmoses is beautifully and uniquely artificed to bring forth some specific aspect of the divine longing to be known. The chain links drop out, and you stand like a small child on Christmas Eve, bedazzled by the wonder of it all.

So let’s explore a bit further the contribution of this particular ball called mi, or mixtus orb is. We know that these forty-eight laws by which our plane of existence is ostensibly governed make for a fairly dense set of constructual givens that most of us find reasonably irritating much of the time. But the deeper burden we bear may well be the pervasive, haunting sense that we are indeed playing in two worlds at once, the two of them in almost constant tension.

There is blessing here, but it is also a cross that we bear. That great wise woman Helen Luke says: “Wholeness is born of the acceptance of the conflict of human and divine in the individual psyche,” thereby acknowledging that the conflict does indeed exist, the one we spend so much of our lives repressing, masking, outrunning. Not only the saints among us but the sinners as well find ourselves pinioned at “the intersection of the timeless and time,” our infinite yearnings trapped inside our finite bodies. It’s this irreducible sense of twoness that may indeed drive those original axial metaphors for “exile” and “fall.” The constriction is not an easy condition to work within.

Of course it is love . . . and more. It’s creation, transmutation and ascension. It’s the Phoenix disintegrating into ash and rising up out of the ashes to live another day. I will continue this meditation in my next post, addressing Cynthia’s suggestive query. The answer she offers leaves room for expansion and cosmic context. Love is, after all, the Power that drives and unravels the entire Creative Process — the Primal Love-casting that set Creation in motion. It’s the Divine Masculine’s radiant magnetism that draws forth the response of the Divine Feminine, attracting and uniting Her elements into unified patterns of diverse forms to build a Universe. It’s the “Big Bang” if you wish.

I welcome any thoughts, insights and inspirations you may have and wish to share. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved . . . or just be your Self.

“I have thrown fire on the world. Look! I watch it until it blazes!”

Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas.

* * *

WERE YOU EVER IN A STATE of comfortable assurance that everything was going right on schedule when something crops us that threatens to disrupt your schedule and prevent you from reaching your destination or goal on time — then a surprising event springs up, seemingly out of nowhere, that resolves the impasse and you’re on you way to a timely arrival? Well, such synchronicity is basically what Gurdjieff’s “Third Force” dynamics is all about. But let me share Cynthia Bourgeault’s interpretations and demonstrations of the “Law of Three” from her “exquisitely written love story,” EYE OF THE HEART.

THIRD FORCE

According to the Law of Three, all new arisings in whatever domain and at whatever scale are caused by the interweaving of three independent forces (not just two), which Gurdjieff calls affirming, denying, and reconciling. Where there are just two, there is impasse, and situations logjam. But since it is the nature of life in the created order, flowing as it does out of world 3, to be continuously moving and shapeshifting, third force enters. Impasses break up. New configurations emerge, for better or worse. This will either happen randomly, under the law of accident, or it will happen intentionally, under the law of fate. In the latter case it is an imaginally generated new arising, and the conscious circle often has a distinctive role to play.

Third force is a bit like quicksilver itself; under various lights it can appear to be generated, invoked, midwifed, or discovered in a situation — or it can emerge, seemingly out of left field, through a random event or “coincidence.” The conscious circle can be deployed in any of these directions. While generally its role seems to be to maintain that deep reservoir of spacious, nonidentified attentiveness out of which third force most spontaneously arises, every so often it finds itself functioning directly as third force itself, providing that requisite bridging element that breaks up the logjam and ushers in the new configuration.

The history of civilization is marked by a few great turning points, when things which had apparently been moving in one direction suddenly shift course and move in another, often under mysterious circumstances. I do not want to fall into a magical retelling of history here, where every miraculous plot twist is taken as evidence of imaginal intervention. But as I ponder how third force has played out at some of these significant crossroads in human history, I would like to share three stories, all of them basically anecdotal, that appear to me to bear the particular fragrance of conscious-circle involvement.

The first story was told to me many years ago by my dear friend and teacher Murat Yagan, who trained extensively in the Abkhazian shamanic and Bektashi dervish lineages before emigrating to Canada in 1960 to take up work as a teacher of the deeper imaginal roots of the Western Inner tradition. According to Murat — and he was adamant about this — the origins of Sufism predate Islam and in fact lie in “the order of Melchizedek,” or in other words, directly in the imaginal realm. The marriage of these two spiritualities was effected only in the ninth century through the deliberate intervention of a Central Asian Wisdom council, which directly foresaw that the external container of Islam would be the only vessel strong enough to withstand the devastation shortly to be unleashed by Mongol invasions. Moving quickly to protect a tender shoot of human consciousness beginning to bud in Central Asia, the council effected a union so sturdy that to this day the standard version of Islamic history claims that Sufism is simply “the mystical arm of Islam,” generated entirely within an Islamic matrix.

Sometimes initial calamities, once viewed from the perspective of the conscious circle, begin to make sense in a whole different way. The Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1959 is just such an example and furnishes my second story. On the one hand, this violent act of aggression broke up a Wisdom enclave of almost supernatural purity and power. On the other hand, it displaced this Wisdom to the West, where it was sorely needed and well positioned to grow the entire world. As the Dalai Lama, Lama Yeshe, and others of that remarkable lineage made their way to Dharamshala and points west, the cross-pollination began in earnest, and the reinfusion of energy into the West’s own contemplative traditions has laid a sturdy global foundation for the second axial awakening. . . .

“IS PARIS BURNING?”

My third story may be my own fantasy, but only the last connection; all the rest up to that point is verifiably true. During the dark days of World War II, when most spiritual teachers were fleeing for refuge to less war-torn places, Gurdjieff elected to stay put in Paris, in his tiny flat less than a quarter of a mile as the crow flies from the central command post of the German occupation. And in this bitter season of deprivation and hopelessness, he set about generating intentionally the energy of abundance, the missing element in a desperately traumatized world. Using skills he had gained who knows how, he managed to acquire huge stockpiles of food — not just basic staples always available in an unlocked pantry, but elegant luxuries, Armagnac and chocolates, served up in lavish banquets in an atmosphere suffused with the limitless possibility of the human spirit. Those who still remember those banquets know full well that the real food being served was love. . . .

Just over the hill, in the place de la Concorde, during the summer of 1944, the noose was tightening on the Nazi occupation. The American troops had landed in Normandy and were steadily making their way toward Paris. An elaborate scheme had been set in place by those leading the German evacuation that would have left behind a swath of destruction obliterating some of the great monuments of human culture. Dietrich von Choltitz, a general widely known for his ruthlessness, was in charge of the operations. Explosives were placed under Notre Dame Cathedral and the Louvre. It is all detailed in the book Is Paris Burning?”

Somehow, it never happened. The reasons are still not clear. There was never a moment when it was decided not to blow up Paris. There were negotiations and communications right up to the end, but no moment of decision. Like the tide turning, the moment simply receded.

I could never prove that there was a connection between these two events. But knowing how imaginal causality works and Gurdjieff’s skills in this realm, I cannot not believe it. In my heart I still fiercely hold it as his greatest gift to our West, and I offer up my prayers of gratitude. I will count him forever among the thirty-six.

LOVE CASTING

The “thirty-six” relates to the Hasidic folklore cited in a previous post which claims that our world is held in its planetary orbit by thirty-six conscious human beings, whose work is of such a fine quality as to “rise like incense into the earth’s atmosphere” creating a “sturdy bandwidth of protection, blessing, and guidance.” This, in essence, describes the nature and function of Gurdjieff’s “conscious circle of humanity.”

The number 36 is of course symbolic and can represent a group of individuals as well as individual groups of people, many of which have convened together to form what some are describing as “love casting” circles. I am a participant in a few of them myself. Modern technology today allows us to gather via Zoom conferences, which makes our conscious awareness of one another and of our work more visible and generative.

If you think that you would like to participate is such a love casting circle, drop me an email for more information and contact references. One of my group coordinators is in Jerusalem, another in Toronto and a third in Hawaii. Then there are smaller circles of light workers who “meet in the field” weekly at various times — the “field” being Rumi’s realm in consciousness “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing” where Rumi says : “I’ll meet you there. When the soul lies down in that grass, the world is too full to talk about. Ideas, language, even the phrase each other doesn’t make any sense.”

THIRD FORCE INTERVENTION

“Even from the days of your fathers ye have gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return to me and I will return to you, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 3:7)

The rest of that passage is relevant today:

“But ye said, Wherein shall we return? Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I shall rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field saith the LORD of hosts. And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Malachi 3:7-12)

Our world is cursed with a plague that is destroying the lives of our children, our youth, and our elders. With over twenty wars currently waging globally, and the pending threat of nuclear annihilation, this civilization is on a fast track to self destruction. Not the planet, just the mind-made world on its surface.

God loves this world so much that He sent His only begotten Son to save it from destruction. His coming was as a third force at a time when affirmation of the promise of a Messiah by the prophets and sacred scripture was strong in the minds and hearts of the people, and denial of the truth of the oneness of heaven and earth was strong as well. He came to reconcile the separation between His Father in Heaven and His children on earth, and to restore our consciousness to the awareness of the presence of the Kingdom on Heaven within us and all around us.

But His “Third Force” intervention in the downward path humanity was on at that time occurred on the cross when he cheated death and then, as though from out of left field — although He had forecasted His resurrection — He rose from the tomb, and in so doing altered the course of human history.

Third Force intervention is happening again today in what is called ” The Second Coming of Christ.” Only this time it’s happening in and through a collective body of chosen ones, incarnate angels who have come here to prepare the way for His coming on the clouds of heavenly human consciousness by casting the fire of love into the world and thereby generating the spiritual plasma needed to accommodate the transmission of the Christ Spirit into the world. I repeat His words recorded in the Gospel of Thomas:

“I have thrown fire on the world. Look! I watch it until it blazes.”

That fire of love is beginning to blaze, as the words of this poem by Martin Cecil proclaim:

* * *

THUS IT IS

From age to age

Love’s word rings forth,

“The truth is true and all is well,

Unconquerable life prevails.

Oh, man, whose strident dreams

Lead gravewards,

Return to calm and noble

Character of life.

Blaze forth pure virtue.

Depart false ambition’s restless schemes.

Busy thought and troubled feeling

Trespass not in virtue’s wise serenity

Where firm control and awful power

Eternally abide.

Here earth’s pains are healed

And cruel chaos of mind’s spawning

Is called again to order and to beauty.

* * *

Let’s make our world a “delightsome land” again, by returning the tithes of our heart’s love to the One whose world this is, the LORD of hosts. For it’s through our hearts that His Spirit returns to this earthly realm.

I welcome any thoughts you may have in response to this post and wish to share. Until my next post,

be love . . . be loved.

I WAS LISTENING to an audio recording of a presentation by Lloyd Meeker (Uranda) which he gave back in August of 1953 entitled “The Magic Of Creation #4 — Man With God in which he gives fresh insight into a passage in the Book of Genesis that had not stood out to me in the past in quite the same light. Here is the passage:

“These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

“And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. . . .”

(Genesis 2: 4-9)

There’s much more to this event that Uranda encompasses in his presentation. The line that stood out to me and which I wish to meditate upon in this post is: “And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew:”

I really had never noticed this passage and the implications clearly evident in the phraseology, which I highlighted here. The implication is that creation of all the forms of life, the trees and herbs for example, was first in the heaven before they appeared in the earth . . . and that they appeared in the earth after man was made and placed in the garden planted eastward in Eden “to dress it and to keep it,” as verse 15 states. In other words, man was the means by which creation of living forms manifested in the earth. We are the tillers of the ground of the garden planted eastward in Eden, the dressers and keepers of the garden of Paradise. Perhaps the Double Helix Nebula pictured above is part of the matrix for the Creating Process after all.

I don’t think the Creator handed out an assortment of seeds to Adam and Eve to be planted in the garden. This was clearly an imaginal process of seeding the heaven of human consciousness with an image of the Creator’s design and desire for Creation: the invisible image to be made manifest through Man, male and female, in the visible universe of the earth.

The wording “Eastward in Eden” indicates the future, as our tomorrows come out of the East, where the morning sun faithfully appears heralding the new day.

The garden planted eastward in Eden, is Gurdjieff’s “World 24” and Jesus’s “kingdom of heaven.” It’s Cynthia Bourgeault’s “Imaginal realm.” It’s the heart, the garden which we are commissioned to dress and to keep . . . for one thing, from being troubled. “Let not your hearts be troubled,” are reportedly words the Master Jesus often prefaced what he had to say to his disciples. Nothing brings peace to a troubled heart like love and thankfulness — especially when offered upward.

GURDJIEFF’S CONSCIOUS CIRCLE OF HUMANITY

Bringing back an old Hasidic saying I shared several posts ago from Cynthia Bourgeault’s EYE OF THE HEART:

“There’s an old piece of Hasidic folklore that claims that our world at any point in time is held in its planetary orbit by thirty-six conscious human beings. They don’t know each other, and they don’t even know if they’re among the thirty-six. But the quality of their work, rising like incense into the earth’s atmosphere, creates around our fragile planet a sturdy bandwidth of protection, blessing, and guidance.”

This comprises the gist of Gurdjieff’s notion of what he called a “conscious circle of humanity” . . . through which a “Third Force” can operate to alter the course of world and human evolution and destiny. More on this later.

What exactly is the nature of Gurdjieff’s Conscious Circle of Humanity? Cynthia writes:

Essentially, the conscious circle is an intense zone of imaginal interchange in which advanced beings on both sides of the form/formless divide — i.e., some still in their physical bodies, others no longer so — join hands across the realms for a mutual exchange of wisdom, tempering, blessing, protection, and occasional course correction. You might look at it as a kind of “bodhisattva bandwidth,” in which the best of our human altruism is met and matched from the other side by a sincere compassion for our human predicament and the skillful means to help. This is the circle of “ye watchers and ye holy ones” (as the old hymn goes), antiphonally proclaiming their mutual commitment to protect, uphold, and bring to completion all that has been set in motion here.

The whole notion is by nature evolutionary, incarnational, and collective. Membership in the conscious circle of humanity is not about bailing out of our earthly responsibilities to seek personal enlightenment in more spiritualized realms. It fits squarely within the Gurdjieffian notion of reciprocal feeding; in fact, only within this framework can its purpose really be understood.

A passage from the Book of Malachi (3:7) in the Old Testament speaks to this “reciprocal feeding” and “exchange between the realms”: Return to me, and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.” And a few verses further: “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing.” (Mal 3:10). We return, hearts and tithes, to the LORD through a vibrational pattern of wholehearted love response to his unconditional love for each one of us.

THE GROUP DYNAMIC

If Teilhard’s theory is correct, it is a fair surmise that the next levels of conscious emergence — into what is now popularly called “integral” and “nondual” consciousness — will not happen simply through the domino-chain aggregation of individual enlightened psyches. It will require the emergence of an accompanying new “physical arrangement,” or body featuring an even greater degree of differentiated function within an overarching unity.

Teilhard was already envisioning this new evolutionary body as the noosphere, and he had already grasped that its materiality was comprised not of corpuscular elements ordered by tangential energy, but of “thought” exchanged among humans through radial energy — or in other words, rephrased in the language of the Western Inner tradition, that it would operate according to the substantiality and causality of World 24. To the extent that the conscious circle bears witness to that higher imaginal body and in fact arises as a specific expression of it, I believe that groups and Wisdom schools are here to stay as the prime locus of conscious-circle activity as we approach that second axial threshold.

In favoring the group model over the time-hallowed solitary, however, one needs to be very careful not to fall back into outdated World 48 modalities. I still chuckle at my friend Ajahn Sona’s priceless quip: “What’s the plural of egoic? We-goic.” Wegoic fellowship with all its tricky and laborious protocols is not the way this imaginal body orders itself, and Gurdjieff was very clear in expressing his disappointment when the Babylonian School fell back into such “wiseacreing.” Mentally generated platforms and inflammatory rhetoric simply add to the pain body of this world.

The first priority of a Wisdom school aspiring to conscious-circle partnership must be to maintain a consistently high level of imaginal clarity in which something new can actually be tasted. The synergy is itself the new vibration, the seeing is itself the doing, and all that’s really needed is to hold that vibration for as long as one can, as purely as one can; then like water running downhill, it will find its way into the ground. “Truth has only to appear once, in one single mind,” Teilhard averred shortly before his death, “for it to be impossible for anything to prevent it from spreading universally and setting everything ablaze.” How we get “from here to there” is the real measure of amplitude of the conscious circle when it is doing its job rightly. (emphasis added)

THE “NOOSPHERE”

I bring this next passage forward from an earlier post as it speaks to this “noosphere” mentioned above.

In her evocative and controversial book The Meaning of Mary Magdalene – The Woman at the Heart of Christianity, Cynthia Bourgeault makes a distinction between the “imaginal realm” and imagination which I feel deserves in-depth consideration. The context of this consideration is the vision Mary Magdalene has of Jesus just after his resurrection when she reportedly mistakes him for the gardener. In her gospel, Mary Magdalene tells the apostles of Jesus’s resurrection and goes on to describe her remarkable experience with him.

I saw the Master in a vision and I said to him, “Lord I see you now in a vision.” And he answered me, “You are blessed, Mary, since the sight of me does not disturb you. For where is the nous [the heart] lies the treasure.” Then I said to him: “Lord, when someone meets you in a Moment of vision, is it through the soul [psyche] that they see, or is it through the Spirit [Pneuma] ?”

The Teacher answered: “It is neither through the soul nor the spirit , but the nous between the two that sees the vision….”

The “nous” is the heart, or the “eye of the heart.” It’s our capacity to discern spiritual or vibrational essences. It’s the space between the infinite and the finite, between pure spirit and gross matter — and it is said to belong to Spirit, generated as it is by Spirit for communicating with the physical world and for conveying “images” for the manifestation of “analogues”– the manifest forms. “Images do not arise in this realm, however (their origin is several cosmoses more subtle) [Worlds 6 and 12], and trouble begins when this fundamental cosmic law is forgotten. (Bourgeault)

“Pneumaplasm”

The word “pneumaplasm” was coined by Uranda eighty some years ago to represent this substance through which Spirit communicates with the material world.  Uranda was the founder of the Attunement service now being offered by attunement practitioners the world over.  I have incorporated sacred sound in my personal attunement service and have written a book about this sacred technology. I would like to share an excerpt from my book, Attunnement With Sacred Soundfrom the section “Cellular Replication in a Musical Matrix of Light.”

“Image” and “Analogue” — “As Above so Below”

Within the particular metaphysical stream that Jesus seems to be working in, image corresponds to that primordial template mentioned earlier—“the origin” of each created form. Very cautiously, you might label it an archetype. At first glance you may be tempted to transpose this teaching into Platonic categories and assume that Jesus is talking about the “ideal form” of a thing. But be cautious in doing so, for there is a distinctly different dynamism at work here. For Jesus, the “image” is not merely a static blueprint, a preexistent prototype that its earthly analogue mechanically reflects. Between image and analogue there is a dynamic reciprocity as they simultaneously articulate the same reality in Two different realms. Image and analogue are in continuously creative tension receiving and fulfilling each other, and it is in the energy exchange that their indivisible wholeness is made manifest.

I like her use of the word “analogue,” which means similar in function but not in origin and structure, as it represents accurately the “dynamic reciprocity” between man and his Creator, in whose image and likeness we are made in order to function as creators ourselves. In our energy and attunement work you might say that we seek to facilitate a clarification, balancing and intensification of this “energy exchange” between image (spirit) and analogue (form) with the intention that the oneness between them may be made manifest in the client’s experience of life, as well as in our own.

The author then offers these words of truth and wisdom derived from Jesus’ teaching:

When the realms are in spontaneous resonance—“One Heart, one Being, one Will, one God, all in all”— the music of the spheres bursts forth. When they are not, disease and disharmony inevitably ensue. As He quickly points out (again, with a contemporary feeling to the teaching), “Confusion and disturbance resonate throughout one’s whole being”. . . . and sickness and death are the inevitable result.

Dynamic Reciprocity — Exchange Between the Realms — Receiving and Bestowing — Reciprocal Feeding. The eternal cosmic dance between Creator and Man in Creation goes on for as long as the Music of the Spheres lasts in a world without end. What an exciting time to be living and co-creating on Earth !!!

I will continue this stream in my next post, focusing on the dynamics of Third Force intervention. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.
