The “Place of Creation”

80-Year Celestial Gateway Window

Every 2160 years, the Winter Solstice was known by the ancient Mayans as the “Place of Creation” in the heavens. The window of this celestial gateway is open for a period of about 80 years. Since about 1960, then, and for the next 25 years, we are poised on Earth in a powerful and dynamic alignment of our Star with the dark rift in the central bulge of our Milky Way Galaxy and the constellation of Sagittarius.  The image below may help you envision this cosmic event.

In his book Maya Cosmogenesis, Major Jenkins writes:

The Maya understood this dense, bright bulge as a Cosmic Center and Creation Place, a conclusion based solely on naked-eye observation that is, in fact, very true: the center of our saucer-shaped galaxy lies within this bright and wide part of the Milky Way . . . that hyperdense region out of which the Milky Way and everything in it, including us, has poured.

This Day Foretold 12,000 Years Ago

Graham Hancock has researched lost ancient civilizations extensively as his life’s work and legacy and has published his findings in a number of books, the most recent one being MAGICIANS OF THE GODS, The Forgotten Wisdom of Earth’s Lost Civilization, in which I am presently engrossed. His more popular book, FINGERPRINTS OF THE GODS, was published several years earlier. This book, the one I am currently reading, is a compelling read as the author unravels ancient history through the telling of stories of lost ancient civilizations, those that existed in antediluvian times – before the cataclysmic Deluge that wiped out much of the world’s population, both human and animal, and sank the entire continent of Atlantis – as well as those who had managed to survive the Great Flood and took up the restoration of human civilization in postdiluvian times – such ones as Noah and his family, among several other groups of humans who had become hunters and gatherers in a devastated and upside-down world. I am finding it quite fascinating to read stories from legends and actual discovered accounts of the peoples who set out to restore civilization in the radically altered and rearranged geography of the planet.

Catastrophism holds a particular interest in my curious mind. All this to introduce this excerpt from Graham’s book that speaks to the meaning and significance behind the Mayan Great Year calendar as it pertains to us today:

It is not my purpose here to go in depth into the whole enigma of the Mayan calendar, not least since I wrote about this subject at some length in Fingerprints of the Gods. However, my understanding since the publi­cation of Fingerprints in 1995 has moved on, and it is important to be clear that in signaling the decades around 2012 as the end of a great cycle, the Maya were not speaking of the end of the world, as such, but rather of the end of an age– “a time of great transformation and world rebirth” — that would be followed by the beginning of a new great cycle or world age. This, in the Mayan scheme of things, is the turbulent and dangerous time of transition we live in today. It is therefore strange, and indeed somewhat eerie, to find the solar and astronomical coordinates of the exact same 80-year window between 1960 and 2040 prophesied by the Maya to mark a turning point in human history, carved in high relief on a 12,000-year-old pillar in Gobekli Tepe in far-off Turkey.

Gobekli Tepe is an ancient temple-setting on top of a hill in the southern part of Turkey, quite close to Mount Ararat where Noah’s Ark reportedly came to rest as the flood waters receded and revealed dry land to the survivors aboard the Ark. It is believed that Noah and his entourage settled here and established this sacred site where he built an altar to make a sacrifice to the God who had saved them from perishing in the deluge. Resembling a navel, Gobeklitepe is a word meaning “potbelly hill,” a name quite fitting for the geographical location of the re-birth of human civilization after the Deluge. It was first surveyed by archaeologists from Istanbul, Turkey, and again by German archaeologist Klaus Schmidt in 1994, who determined that it was built during the late Paleolithic, when the region was still inhabited by hunter-gatherers.

Rebuilding Civilization

Graham Hancock proposes that Noah, who came from the advanced civilization of Atlantis, brought agriculture and architecture to the people of the region, building this temple to show them how to build with stone and planting seeds he had brought with him on the Ark to show the people how to grow their own food. Noah is numbered among the “Seven Sages” – depicted in ancient drawings as carrying a small basket in one hand, which is thought to contain seeds preserved from antediluvian civilization – who traveled the postdiluvian world bringing ancient technology and agriculture forward to re-establish civilizations and restore the “homeland of the gods” as they knew it on the lost continent of Atlantis.

The prized find among the pillars of this temple site was pillar 43 on the surface of which was etched a partial picture map communicating an “Ancient Cosmic Geography” depicting the Zodiac cycle which the axis of the Earth moves through during the Winter Solstice in its 25,920-year precession (see graphic below).  It shows the Winter Solstice sun in the House of Sagittarius, a prophetic map pointing to our time, 11,600 years in the future, the epoch of 2012, when the 80-year window in which the “Place of Creation” will arrive again.

Graham Hancock brings to light Paul Burley’s insights.  A registered engineer and environmental geologist, Burley’s studies were published on Hancock’s website in 2013 in the form of a paper Paul had written in 2011 entitled “Gobekli Tepe: Temples Communicating an Ancient Cosmic Geography.”

Every 25,920 years the axis of our wobbling planet travels through the belt of the twelve constellations of the Zodiac, which form the background behind our sun and around our solar system. This Zodiac belt provides what is called the “House” of our Star, thus we say that our sun is “in the House of ” a specific constellation.  For example, our sun is presently in the House of Sagittarius at this time of the Winter Solstice, which is on the other side of the sun from us. In other words, our sun lies between us and Sagittarius.  At the time of the Spring Equinox come March 20, 2018, our sun will in the House of Aquarius, the “New Age” which dawned back in the 1960’s and through which we are currently traveling, and indeed creating. All Things New

The significance of this alignment lies in the access we have while traveling through this 80-year window of creation to unlimited energy and power to co-create a new world upon the surface of our Home among the stars. This is the time for which we have been born into this world, and we have only 25 more years in which to complete our work of renewal. The New Heaven has been created and established in the collective consciousness of a critical number of human beings in the Body of God on Earth over the past fifty-five years. The New Earth is already emerging out of the chaos of the times, for out of all chaos order emerges. Never mind the mass media which makes its fortune airing the chaos in the world. There is much more occurring of a positive, creative and integrative nature under the radar of the media than the negative stuff of this disintegrating mind-made world that is shown on television newscasts and pictured in newspapers. So, my word today is “Take heart and be about the work of rebuilding and re-birthing the New World of order and beauty from out of the New Heaven of love and truth and life.  Let us make all things new again.”

To all my friends and readers who celebrate the birth of the Lord of Love two-thousand-plus years ago, have a very Merry and Blessed Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year in 2018. For all of my friends and readers who celebrate and welcome the return of light to the western hemisphere, Happy Winter Solstice!  Lest I leave out my Jewish friends, I pray you each one had a Happy and Blessed Honukkah earlier this month. Jesus and Egyptian Mysticism

The Egyptian Mystery Schools were not about cloaking the truth of God in mystery so as to hide it from the uninitiated layman, as a reader recently alluded to in a comment on my last post. Or was it? There does seem to have been a certain secrecy about the “initiation” process which introduced one to Egyptian mysticism.

Now, there’s a word that could use some cleaning up. Mysticism need not imply a cloaking of truth in the illusory clouds of mystery. On the contrary, mysticism dates back to ancient times as a doctrine or belief that one can obtain communion with God, have a direct experience of the Divine Source of Life itself, through contemplation and meditation – “and love without the medium of human reason,” the New World Dictionary adds in its first definition of the word. It’s only the third option that defines mysticism as “vague, obscure, or confused thinking or belief.” The second option defines mysticism as “any doctrine that asserts the possibility of attaining knowledge of spiritual truths through intuition acquired by fixed meditation.” A mystic is a person who has found a spiritual path that takes him/her directly into the Light of the Divine Presence.  This is what Egyptian Mysticism was reportedly all about. So, why would Jesus not be interested in exploring Egyptian mysticism?

According to Michael Baigent, Jesus was more a mystic than a messiah — in the sense that he opened a pathway to the “Kingdom of Heaven” that is within us and all around us for everyone.  He knew the Way.  According to the Gospels, he reportedly said “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Where did he learn the “way” to the spirit world of heaven? Had he mastered Egyptian mysticism?

The “Master”

An essential aspect of the Master’s miraculous healings – and I call Jesus Master with purpose – was in the way he reached out to touch people where they were, not requiring them in any way whatsoever to rise up to where he was in order for him to heal them. These people had been led by the God of Abraham and of Isaac to their City of Habitation in Jerusalem. The Prophets of the Old Testament had foretold that a messiah would come and restore Israel and deliver its people from the bondage of the powers that were at the time, which was the Roman Empire. Jesus knew that and he respected their belief in a messiah – so much so that he took on the role of that messiah in order to touch them where they were in their state of expectancy. He rode into Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, as we saw earlier, in order to fulfill the prophecy and satisfy their expectancy, an event Catholics celebrate even to this day on Palm Sunday. Where did he learn his mastery?

According to Michael Baigent, Jesus was taken by his parents to Egypt where he grew up and spent eighteen years studying Jewish law and the Sacred Scriptures in preparation for his public ministry among the Jews in Galilee and Judea. I resonate with his scenario for the simple reason that it would seem necessary that Jesus fully understand the task he was about to take on with a people steeped in tradition and scriptural beliefs. But beyond his education into the beliefs and traditions of the Jewish people, I see no heresy in allowing that Jesus may have explored the mysticism of the Egyptian people. After all, he came to minister to the entire world and not just to the Jewish people. His deep passion was to lead all souls back to the path that leads to the Kingdom of Heaven – which he said on many occasions, according to the record, is “within.” To enter the kingdom of heaven, one has to turn around, the literal meaning of “repent,” and look within oneself to find the “way” in.

The Egyptian mystics had found a doorway to that kingdom, only they called it the “Far World.” And here is where Baigent treads on sacred beliefs. Dare he, dare I, even consider the possibility that Jesus explored and underwent training in the mysticism of the Mystery Schools of Egypt? Yes, Egypt was a “‘land-of-darkness’ – or the state-of-darkened consciousness, gross darkness,” as a reader characterized Egypt in his comment on my last post. However, there was a light shining in the gross darkness of Egypt in a community of holy men and women.

The Therapeutae

I would like to turn now and consider a contemplative community of healers with whom Jesus may well have lived and studied. Baigent writes about them in his book. I will share the entire story with you mostly in the author’s own words, words that drew me out with a deep sense of deja vu.

On a low hill in southern Egypt, situated between the Mediterranean Sea and Lake Maryut just southwest of Alexandria, lived a small community of Jewish philosophers.  Being situated between two bodies of water, they benefited from the fresh breeze of cool and healthy sea air that swept over the limestone spur.  In an atmosphere of peace and “relative security” in this rural setting with nearby  villas and towns, they lived a contemplative lifestyle. As Baigent describes it best, I will let him tell the story, which is largely based on accounts written by Philo of Alexandria and a couple of other historians.

This community was given the name of Therapeutae, which, as Philo explains, carries both the sense of healing – not only of the body but also of the soul – and a sense of worship. Therapeutae worship centered on the “Self-Existent” – a belief in the One Divine Reality, never created but eternal. This was a concept of divinity far beyond the capability of language to describe.

In one important way, the Therapeutae were very different from the other dedicated groups Philo describes, such as the Essenes. Among the Therapeutae, women were admitted as equal members and participated fully in the spiritual life of the community. By contrast, the Essenes, according to Philo, Josephus, and Pliny, were proud of the fact that they excluded women; women, they believed, were a distraction. We should recall here the inclusive attitude of Jesus toward the women in his entourage and the criticism that this engendered among some of his male disciples in the Gospels, for there have been many questionable attempts to ally Jesus with the Essenes.

Comprised of upper well-educated upper class elite from Alexandria who had divested themselves of all worldly possessions, the Therapeutae’s communal life was one of simplicity – and they were not the only group in all of Egypt that followed a contemplative lifestyle.  They were, however, the only group representing a “Jewish version of a widespread mystical tradition that found expression in all lands.” Baigent gives another distinguishing characteristic of this group.

The implication of the Therapeutae’s inclusion of women, however, is that when a group is dedicated to the contemplation of the highest experience of the soul – to that sight of the soul “which alone gives a knowledge of truth and falsehood” – the gender of the worshiper is irrelevant. This may seem self-evident to us today, but in the world of Philo and Jesus this concept was truly revolutionary.

The Therapeutae were mystics and visionaries: “It is well,” Philo writes, “that the Therapeutae, a people always taught from the first to use their sight, should desire the vision of the Existent and soar above the sun of our senses.”

Members of the Therapeutae wanted to have a direct vision of reality – or of the “Self- Existent,” to use Philo’s term – in order to experience what truly exists behind the rough-and-tumble world of this transitory life. This too was the aim of many groups operating in the classical world, especially in those great and secret cults called “the Mysteries.” Here we appear to have a Jewish version, seeking the same end, but operating in a much simpler manner within the Jewish tradition.

The Therapeutae prayed at dawn and sunset. During the day they would read the holy texts, but rather than taking these as the history of the Jewish nation, they understood them as allegory. According to Philo, they considered the literal text a symbol of something hidden that they could find only if they looked for it.

Every seven days they would gather together and hear a talk by one of the senior members; every fifty days they would have a major assembly where they would all put on white robes, eat a simple sacred meal, and form a choir, men and women together, to sing hymns with complex rhythms and vocal parts. This festival would continue all night until dawn, revealing the solar nature of their worship: “They stand with their faces and whole body turned to the east and when they see the sun rising they stretch their hands up to heaven and pray for bright days and knowledge of the truth.’?”

Clearly this is a very different type of Judaism, one that does not depend upon temple worship at all. In Therapeutae worship, which has a very Pythagorean tinge, there is no concern with the cult of Judaism, which was so important to the priests in the temples of Jerusalem and the Egyptian delta, or with the purity of the high priests serving that cult, which was of such concern to the Zealots, or with the coming of the Messiah of the Line of David. For both male and female members of the Therapeutae, there was simply the possibility of a visionary experience of Divinity.

Their kingdom was truly not of this world: Jesus would have approved.

There is one further implication of the Therapeutae’s beliefs that warrants more discussion, and that is the practice of treating the entire Old Testament as symbolic. They would have read all the messianic predictions made by the prophets symbolically.  There would have been no reason in their minds for an actual messiah to come to liberate Israel; there would have been no reason for Jesus to be the actual king and high priest; the oracular pronouncements of the messiah would have been simply symbolic of something deeper and more mysterious. We have seen before how the “Star” is a symbol of the messiah, but can we now take this concept a little further? Can we see the statement by Peter in the New Testament as reflecting this kind of speculation, albeit in a Christian context? Could the phrase “Let the Day Star rise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19) be interpreted as an encouragement to let the mystic light rise from within?

With such attitudes apparently widespread, perhaps even common, it is no wonder that Judaism in Egypt, and Christianity afterwards, had a distinctively mystical quality: it was in Egypt that Christian monasticism first began; it was in Egypt at Nag Hammadi that someone hid the Gnostic texts, that collection of Christian and classical mystical texts – including one by Plato and one from the texts of Hermes Trismegistus, the Asclepius – that had been compiled and used by a desert monastery.

The Christian Church in Egypt had mystically minded figures even as late as the third century – theologians Clement of Alexandria and Origen, for example. We have Egyptian traditions leaking into Judaism from very early days – the times of Joseph and Moses – and in more recent times, as we see in the writings of Philo. In the midst of all this we have groups such as the Therapeutae working a mystical type of Judaism and the Temple of Onias maintaining the true Jewish Zadokite priesthood.

At this point one is tempted to ask “What was it about Egypt that gave this mystical focus to Judaism and the Christianity born out of it? What kind of soil were these foreign faiths growing in?”

The irony of these questions is that it was not so much the land that nourished these faiths as it was the sun, which poured out its life-giving sustenance from above. A clue lies in the fact that both the Therapeutae and the Jewish Zadokites adopted the solar calendar from the Egyptians, whose major deity, Ra, was in fact an expression of the sun as the source of life, the source of all creation. Texts reveal that the pharaoh, at least, sought mystical union with Ra as the “deepest fulfillment of our human divine nature.”

I find this to be a curiously significant aspect of Egyptian Mysticism, as the sun is the central focus of cosmic energy for our solar system – which I would rather call a “Solar Entity” to emphasize its living and breathing nature.  As we shall see in the next post, the Egyptians viewed the visible material world as the cloak of an invisible spiritual “Far World” which governed the world of form.  Their gods lived in that spiritual world.

Could it be that their worship of the sun was prompted by a latent subconscious memory of their origin in the sun. Yes, the sun, the Star at the center of our world.  Is our Judeo-Christian “Heaven” perhaps located in the cool center of our Star?  It that where God lives as the “Lord of lords” and “King of kings,” in his Kingdom that “is not of this world?”  Is the Sun the radiant outer garment of the LORD GOD Creator of our universe – the fire that burns and the light that glows – that gives evidence of the Presence of the One that dwells within – the” Shekinah”? A possibility upon which to meditate and ponder.

The profound mysticism that lay at the very heart of the Egyptian experience of reality clearly influenced many of the other faiths that had established themselves there. This Egyptian mysticism, which employed secret readings of myth and private rituals, often played out in secluded underground chambers and temples, professed to connect this world with the next, to connect heaven and earth.

The approach of the Egyptians was not a kind of philosophy, a speculation on divine possibilities, or a faith built solely upon the hope for a better life after death. The Egyptians were not only mystical but intensely practical. They did not want to talk about heaven, they wanted to go there. And return. Just like Lazarus in fact.

It’s time now to look at the hidden mysteries of Egypt.

THE SUN-EARTH CONNECTION

Our solar system is an electromagnetic dynamo, as is our Milky Way Galaxy. As astronomers and astrophysicists have ventured out into space and probed the Universe through powerful telescopes, we are able to see stellar and galactic formations shaped by magnetic fields in which matter is held together by magnetic force. The “Law of Gravity” demonstrates the electromagnetic pull of the sun upon the planets and of the planets upon their moons. Isaac Newton’s apple, for example, didn’t “fall” to the earth.” It was pulled to the earth by the magnetic force of attraction.

Once thought to be a fiery furnace, and more recently since the dawn of the atomic age a colossal ball of continuous atomic explosions, the sun is now understood by scientists to be an electromagnetic dynamo with surface temperatures upwards of six-thousand degrees Kelvin increasing up to two-million degrees Kelvin further out in the coronal atmosphere due to charged particles acceleration. Quite simply put, the sun’s heat is produced by electricity.

Sun spotThe sun gets its energy from the Galaxy and not from atoms exploding. It’s a focal point for radiation coming from the central sun of the Milky Way Galaxy. In fact, the sun is likely cool at its core, as sunspots imply. Sunspots are holes in the surface of the sun that allow us to peer into the body of the sun. If the sun were a burning furnace or a gigantic atom bomb, these holes would not be black but white hot. Apocalypse of Light 2013, Part 6: The Cool Center of the Sun

At the center of our Solar Entity lives a bright, shining star, not unlike many we see in the heavens above on a clear starlit night. This Day, our Star is experiencing an apocalypse of Light, and the Earth with all her planetary siblings are giving their full electrical and electrifying response to His Majesty’s radiant effulgence in what is called “Schumann Resonance,” also known as the heartbeat of Gaia.  A poem by e.e. cummings pops into mind: (he used no caps)

APOCALYPSE: A REVELATION OF LIGHT

If our eyes were truly opened, what would we really see?  What would our world look like?  I just finished my second reading of Hugh Malafry’s epic and timely novel, The Light At Lindisfarne. It was like reading it for the first time, there’s just so much detail in it. I had already written a book review on it back in August of 2012 under the post title “In Search of the Holy Grail of Free Energy.” You can go back and read it if you like.  

In this post, I will focus on just one event in this complex story of Biblical proportion; of cataclysm and intrigue. The event is a conversation between the two main characters of the story, John Loring and Albert Weiland. Loring is the protege of Weiland, who is a “master of hallows,” a Sweedish physicist who has unlocked the secret of energy.  He alone holds the key to harvesting free energy from the  luminous aether” by way of his “Graalreaktor” and the powers that be are out to get hold of it and him to their own purposes of world-dominance. His device was designed to initiate a process of cold fusion for the transmutation of elements based on esoteric technology which was “hedged from human prying” — the long lost vibratory art and science of Mazaroth revisited.

I found this conversation very provoking of thoughts and images of a very different world than the one we have been taught to see through the eyes of tradition and science. The setting is a moment just after a catastrophic release of “fire in the heavens” by way of a prototype of Weiland’s Graalreaktor the Russian scientists constructed and with which they initiated a cold fusion process against Weiland’s caution about the “field conditions” being unstable at the time. Weiland and Loring are reflecting on the irreversible event. He had obviously given the world access to more power than man was mature and wise enough to use for the greater good of the whole — or, in more common language, enough rope to hang itself. If I tell any more, I’ll give the intriguing story away. So, here’s the conversation:

“So what would you do different?” John asked.

“Start with the best; those who have not sold their souls to the beast. Next time I think I will find a place apart and keep it simple; somewhere, I think, where there are no slaves to the will of ruthless governments.”

“A lost horizon,” John said.

“Ja, like Shangri La,” Weiland said. “In my place apart I will clear some space in the tangle of the mind; set about the task of dismantling that obscenely complex mental construct we call science, along with all the ornate technologies it’s devised to avoid a few simple truths about how things really work.

“You remember how you argued with me. ‘You don’t have to smash atoms or force them together; you don’t smash a river to loose its power; you harness its flow,’ you said.

“I understand young men, and so I resisted deepening your resolve. But of course I agree. Atoms are transmitters of life force, focalizations in the luminiferous aether, each with its virtue released through attunement. Like dialing a radio, the station you can’t tune exists but not for you.”

“A gate needs a key,” John said.

“And the key is a gateway vibration, a vibratory pattern to focus and loose the power. Then is needed a creative field to contain it and a means of distribution to direct what is loosed. This is how I gave life to Kuskinen’s monstrosity at Novaya Zemlya; modified the containment field to sustain force loosed from the luminous aether, and let it flow like a river into the grid. But they do not understand they have not done what is needful to initiate the device: Thus far and no farther.”

      “What have you done, Albert?”                                 ,

“I am an old man,” Weiland said. “What can I do I wonder; what shall I ask in return? They tell me for humanity’s sake I have no right to deny them. So, for humanity’s sake they kidnap and threatened Erika, threatened you, to get what they want. I ask myself, how do the obsessed learn but by consequences?”

“Most are good people who want only to feel secure.”

“Yes, but are willing to raise hell for that security. And to that end the world puts hooks in their faces, John, and draws them where it will.” Weiland was angry, full of righteous indignation. “And so I give them one more chance to admit their ignorance, and seek the source of the light.”

“Your Infans solaris,” John said.

“Very good, John, you remember,” Weiland said; “they must seek what is in the light, for without the star in man they cannot do what I have done.”

“You mastered the reactor years ago, didn’t you,” John said. “Even as a child I heard you speak with my mother.”

“I had forgotten,” Weiland said, “but one day I remember as a child you wanted to talk about the sun. You said it was not hot, but the warmth came of the earth’s response to the sun. Instead, in the midst of that glorious array, you imagined a blue planet, like the cool blue of the center of a flame.”

“I remember,” John said, “and you answered, it is the destiny of earth to become a sun.”

“And I warned you this is not science; tell them this and they will say you are a mystic, but you are not the first to think this: Herschel believed the true sun we have never seen; a cool body in the midst of its field of force.”

“It began as fantasy,” John said, “but I began to think differently, about vibration shaping space, and of the sun as a focus of forces, at its core a shining world.”  

“Then you tell me the sun does not exist alone in physical dimensions,” Weiland said; “that it has existence in other dimensions, presence in other realities.”

“The face of the sun flowers in time; its timeless root in the invisible,” John said, “I still believe that.” 

I love that last comment.  Don’t we all flower in time on this earth and have our timeless root in heaven? But where is heaven? That’s the question this passage is entertaining, I believe, and to which Malafry, through his character Weiland, is suggesting a very possible answer.  Does Heaven exist in a timeless dimension out of which is projected a shining planet in the cool center of our Star that is Eden, our Home among the stars?

Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden . . . . and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. —Genesis

 The sun rises in the East — and it turns in every direction. Is this where we came from and where we go after we make our transition from this earthly plane?  And is the light emanating from this shining planet what we see and know as our Sun? I’ll leave you with your own thoughts and imaginations. As for me, I love this possibility and love believing in it.  Thank you, Hugh, for telling such a rich and thought-provoking story. And to my readers: get the book. It’s a fascinating read.
