Spirit of the New Earth Vibration: Sacred Alchemy of the Vesica Pisces

“I Have Found the One My Soul Loves”

♦  ◊  ♦

THE SCRIPTURAL QUOTE ABOVE is the fourth verse of the third book of the Song of Solomon, also known as the Song of Songs.  One can see this as finding one’s soul’s love embodied in a lover; also as finding one’s Beloved within one’s own heart.

Lusting after union with the Divine via sacred sex has a rich as well as controversial history.  It has degenerated over the centuries to lusting after the pleasures of the flesh, particularly the female body which has been objectified in modern social entertainment and our commercial enterprises.

The Roman Catholic Church has played a pivotal role in this degeneration, relegating sex outside of the “Sacrament of Holy Matrimony” to the performance of a sinful act, creating a controversy that has led to the persecution of women for their enjoyment of sex outside the arbitrary perimeter of “sex for the purpose of procreation.” It has also placed a burden on the shoulders of the faithful with its anti-birth-control and anti-abortion decrees from the Vatican.

This is the current state of fallen human consciousness in the old heaven and old earth.  Notwithstanding, many couples have found the Beloved in one another and share a romantic love that draws them together in inseparable union with the Beloved and with one another, finding and experiencing their own Divine Self as one with the other, where in truth there is no “other.”  Such couples experience spiritual intimacy in physical intimacy.

THIS SERIES of posts features a meditation on the Spirit of the New Earth Vibration.  New earth throughout the Universe is born of the sacred union between the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine—masculine energy drawing form together and feminine energy giving form birth and nurturing it to maturity, then unraveling it and returning its essences back to the One from whom it arose—and it’s all one entity, one process accomplished by way of a spectrum of vibrational frequencies of light and sound.  Here on Earth it is born through Human Beings—created male and female in the image and likeness of their Creator and sharing equally in power and dominion.

(For an in-depth consideration of this creative relationship, I invite you to visit my blog series of October, 2018 entitled Our Masculine/Feminine Energy.)

IN SACRED ANATOMY I explore and meditate upon the historical experience of Sacred Sex as it was once openly and ceremonially practiced.  The following in an excerpt from the chapter of this consideration.  .

Vesica_piscis_circles.svg

The controversy and persecutions were over the alchemical power inherent in the tiny gland atop the gothic archway of the vulva, an archway that embodies the mystical Vesica Pisces, an image in sacred geometry formed by overlapping circles, possibly one of the most profound motifs of ancient and modern times. It represented in ancient religions, among other things, the vulva of the Great Mother and the joining of God and Goddess in the creation of the Universe.  In Christianity, it is the symbol of Jesus Christ which was used by the early Christians to mark their meeting places, referencing by its piscine shape the miracle of the loaves and fishes.  It represented a lot more than that, however.

Throughout earliest traditions, the Vesica Piscis represented the source of immense creative power and energy, a vibrational portal, if you will, between heaven and earth that makes possible the outpouring of love into the world, as well as a birth canal for all of Creation.  This same portal in sacred sex becomes the way into the presence of the Beloved, the “secret place of the Most High.”

This portal appears not only in the union between God and Goddess, the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine.  It also appears “in the midst” where two or more are gathered in the name—or shem in the Aramaic, meaning vibration—of love.  In meditation, where heart and mind play the roles of two gathered in love, it is the “window of heaven” at the Crown Chakra which opens with the alchemy produced by the Pituitary Gland and the Pineal Body as rising currents of the ascending flame of love, offered as incense upward, engage their hormonal chemistry. Through this portal of light streams the inspiration and revelation of divine wisdom into human consciousness.  As a geometrical design of the human eye, it represents the aperture for the “third eye.”  These are all internal workings of the spiritual anatomy of the body temple which are activated from within by one who possesses the knowledge of sacred alchemy.

This knowledge was celebrated by the Knights Templar in a most clever and subliminal way by affixing a rosebud, symbolic of the clitoris, atop the Gothic arches of the Cathedrals they built for the Church in Europe.  Women were known to have a unique capacity to enjoy sex, which was part of the basis for men’s hatred and fear of them.  This tiny protuberance at the top of the arch of the vulva is the only human organ whose function, it seems, is solely to give pleasure.

While the function of the clitoris, placed by perfect design in a spot where it might be stimulated during intercourse, may be seen as that of solely giving pleasure, it also serves as a neurological triggering mechanism for the entire process of alchemy which creates the substance of connection with the divine.  It is through the medium of this substance of pneumaplasm, as we have already considered, that the spiritual gifts of heaven are conveyed into the earth, such as the gift of healing and the gift of premonition and intuitive discernment of events before they happen.

The fleeting pleasure experienced in orgasm is a glandular one which can be easily aroused by physical stimulation.  The Dionysian ecstasy of fusion with the divine, however, entails more than mere physical stimulation of the genitalia.  Sacred alchemy is activated by ones who know the sacredness of their own body temples and have obtained intuitively through exploration the inherent priestly knowledge protected so occultly and diligently for the past two millennia, now resurfacing in human consciousness.  Such ones are themselves priests and priestesses of a High Order. They reveal themselves as lovers as they approach the altar of sacred sex with a deep and passionate love for the Beloved.  In sacred sex the priest and priestess truly represent God and Goddess in wedlock enjoying the fruits of their creation and reveling in the pleasure of ecstatic union their alchemy affords them. The Vesica Pisces, both as vibrational and physical aspects of our sacred anatomy, contracts and opens, quivering as the fire of love falls from heaven and pours out into their creative field, blessing and sanctifying all that is contained in their worlds. Yes, a woman’s sexuality is truly intended by her Creator to be ecstatically pleasurable.

It is not that men are not so equipped, as many have learned who have risen above the traditional rush to climax and explored the delicate glands around the base of the head of the penis, which, with gentle touch, or lying still during intercourse, occasions such alchemy within the male that leads to sexual ecstasy.  I am inclined to believe that the alchemy of ecstatic union with the Divine is entirely the domain of the feminine, even in the male who has enough feminine energy to produce such alchemy.

These two organ/glands, the glans clitoridis and the glans penis, are connected to the same Source of power, the Divine Feminine, that ultimately draws both the man and the woman into ecstatic union within the ascending flame arising out of the altar they have erected, either in solitude or in conjugal rapture.  These are altar pieces which are literally erected from within by aroused sexual energies that are no less sacred than the ceremonies intended to facilitate worship in a Basilica, nor than the One so worshiped. In the Motherland of Lemuria, they played an intricate and generative role in the Temple Service itself.

Clean Hands and Pure Heart

These verses from Psalm 24 say something about the qualifications for finding one’s own personal Holy Grail, as well as knowing whom the Grail serves:

The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?  He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. . . .

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting portals; and the King of glory shall come in.  Who is this King of glory?  The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.

The Psalmist sings of the King energy as coming into the heart when the gates and portals of the heart are swung open. The secrets of the Holy Grail are revealed to one whose hands are clean and whose heart is pure.  Another way of saying this is: one who’s mind meditates daily upon the spiritual laws of being and obeys them in one’s living, and who’s heart is lifted up and open to the purifying currents of love pouring forth from out of Heaven. It is in this governance of spirit and openness to love, as poet and modern-day muse Diana Durham elaborates in splendid detail in The Return of King Arthur that the enlightened mind and purified heart, symbolized by the sword and the cup, find their resting place together in the Kingdom of Heaven restored, through these sacred vessels, to the kingdoms of this world.

I will continue in this consideration and expand on its theme in my next post. Until then, be happy.  Be safe.

The Sacred Alchemy of Transmutation

♦ ◊ ♦

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” —Jesus, Matt 6:33

MY FATHER, the deeply religious man he was, quoted the above biblical passage to me many time during my formative years.  These words proved to be a guiding light throughout my years of quest for truth.  For him, the “kingdom of God” was to be found in a “heaven hereafter” as one leads a good Christian life and frequents the sacraments, particularly Holy Eucharist.  I would discover twenty-eight years later that it is truly “at hand” within me and all around me, just as the Teacher had taught.

My quest for truth unfolded in seven-year cycles. At seven I began my quest in the school system, in which I didn’t fare so well, what with the duties of farm life that left little time for homework . . . and model airplanes.  At fourteen, I entered Catholic Seminary to study for the priesthood, where the truth evaded me — more likely because it was evaded in redacted scriptures and dogmas.  Besides, an arbitrarily imposed celibate life tended to complicate my quest, along with my sexuality.

When I turned twenty-one, I left the seminary to pursue a healing career in Chiropractic, where the truth found me, on my twenty-eighth birthday, through my mentor, Dr. William Bahan, who introduced me to my spiritual mentor, Lord Martin Cecil, and the teachings and writings of Uranda (Lloyd A. Meeker).  The “truth” I had so longed to know came trumpeting out of their mouths . . . that the kingdom of God is truly at hand and that my body is a temple for the presence of God on Earth and more.  It is a temple of worship.

Four seven-year cycles later I sat at my computer to begin writing my book SACRED ANATOMY, which took nine years to complete and another year to edit and publish.  That’s roughly nine seven-year cycles after my incarnation in 1940.  We don’t live life. Life lives in and through us.  So If, in your youthful eagerness, you feel the urge to write a book or a blog to share what you’ve “learned” in your training years, just remember that ideas and theories, along with urges, will gather evidence and proof through experience, much of which comes when and where you least expect. Be patient with the creating cycles of growth and maturity, and don’t question Life when it takes a sudden turn in a new direction.  I’ve always felt a compulsion to write a book.  My mentor tempered my eagerness one day by saying “Works first, then words.”  Or, as the saying goes, “Chop wood and carry water,” then you’ll have something authentic and original to draw from.   I am forever grateful for the wisdom of my teachers and elders who came into my life when I was ready.  Life knows what’s best for us.

FOR FIFTY-TWO YEARS as a wholistic practitioner it has been my role and privilege to serve at the physical level of life’s domain and to bring the higher vibrations of Spirit into the lower levels of Life’s expression in and through the human body.  In keeping with the nature of that service, I have sought to elevate my own consciousness, and that of those whom I served, so as to gain insight beyond the surface of anatomical structure and physiological function and into the energetic world of the Spirit that creates the physical body and continues to maintain it through its years and decades of useful service.  It was for this reason and purpose that I wrote down my inspirations and realizations and compiled and published them in SACRED ANATOMY.

The consideration of our sacred anatomy, presented here in the form of a meditation on transcendent essences, is not a scholarly study of human anatomy and physiology—although those aspects are given due consideration for accuracy. It is rather a presentation of firsthand esoteric knowledge, as previously noted, and inspired visionary insight and revelation.

In that light, I will continue sharing excerpts from my book focusing on the reproductive system and the hormonal glands of the gonads that produce the seeds that initiate the creative process for the creation of the body temple—under the guidance and protection of the Spirit of the New Earth.  In this excerpt I share my meditation on the role these sacred vessels and their function play in the transmutation of the physical substance of the body temple to the refined substance of spiritualized flesh for the light body of the incarnate angel—and for purposes beyond in the higher levels of Archangelic Incarnation.

I believe It is our role as divine beings on the physical material plane to fuel the fires of ascension by which physical substance is refined and transmuted to a higher form.  The source of that fire is the transmuting flame of Love at the highest vibration, stepped down to the frequency of the Spirit of the New Earth at the lower end of the energy spectrum, as we considered in the previous post—which I encourage you to read, if you haven’t already, for the context it provides for this post.

FROM SACRED ANATOMY:

♦ ◊ ♦

The Spiritualization of Atoms

THERE IS A REMARKABLE and significant similarity between the conical shape and function of the Pineal Gland and that of the male and female genitalia on the opposite end of the endocrine system.  They both serve as pointed vessels for focused release of a unified radiant current during sexual orgasm.

The sensation of intense pleasure during erection of both the glans penis and the clitoris, intensifying as orgasm begins to occur, is powerfully felt in the space behind the eyes where the Pituitary gland with its anterior and posterior lobes rests in the Sella Tursica of the sphenoid bone at the base of the brain. With the facilitation of the Hypothalamus, and the Limbic System just above it, the pleasure center of the brain, the Spirit of the Womb  working through the Pituitary gland receives the release of the golden light of love emanating from the Spirit of Love focused in the Pineal gland, embracing it on its way to the eyes and forehead and creating the sacred alchemy which allows the fire of love to pour forth from within.  The fire extends down and out through the sexual organs as well as outward through the eyes and permeating the entire body.  All the cells in the body temple are permeated by the radiant outpouring of love and therein rejuvenated in the ecstasy of sexual orgasm—or unified radiation when and where glandular climax is controlled and withheld.

Dr. Wilhelm Reich, a medical scientist, in his research in the field of what is known as “cosmic plasma,” discovered that a radiant positively charged current of energy is released during orgasm.  He called it “Orgon” and postulated that it originated in solar winds as sun substance.  Orgon is thought to give life energy to the cells of the body.¹

With the outpouring of love’s emanations comes a refinement of spiritual substance (pneumaplasm) as it is drawn into the core of the ascending flame where it is refined even further.  This rarefied substance then rises to mingle with the substance of love contained within the heart. The heart provides a safe space for the alchemy of transmutation to take place.  From this crucible, the substance continues on its journey upward reaching into the core and bringing the experience of heaven into the body temple.  Upon touching the core of love in our heart of hearts, pneumaplasm acts as a connecting substance between earth and heaven through which the currents of love pour forth into the body-temple and through the body-temple into one’s world.  Thus are the atoms comprising our flesh spiritualized and lifted up through the Seven Seals to participate in the generation of the refined pneumaplasm connecting the body with the spirit at the level of Seventh Seal of the Pineal gland — spoken of in the Book of Ecclesiastes (12:1) as “the silver chord.”

The experience of this release through the eyes is especially unifying as the two look into each other’s eyes to receive one another as angels while their union makes itself evident and powerfully felt.  Such moments of sacred sexual intimacy reveal the state of ecstatic union with the Beloved, from Whom a rich outpouring of love is known throughout the temple in waves of delightful pleasure. In his instructions on the “seven seals” Uranda describes what occurs at this level:

Here thou seest the activity of the Gonad Glands (ovary or testis) in harmony with the Christ Center in the Sacral region of thy spine.  Here it is that the active Spiritualization process begins, and as the body substance responds to the action of this Seal it is prepared for the ASCENSION.

This Seal has been variously called the Cave of Darkness, the Serpent’s Seat, the Coil of Kundalini, the Manger of Birth (Bible), and by other names.  As this transmuted substance begins its ascension through the Seven Seals, it is spoken of all through the Bible as the River of Life; and the Tree of Life which extends from one side of the River of Life to the other side represents the Positive and Negative phases of the Seven Seals, under or through which the River of Life is flowing.  The Branches of the Trunk of the Tree extend from the Glands on the one side and from the Christ Centers in the Spine on the other side.  (Steps To Mastership, Lesson Fifty-four)²

These sacred vessels can be appreciated for the facilitation they provide in the process of ascension of atoms into the spiritual body of the angel incarnate.  Caressing them gently so as not to arouse glandular contraction, or simply being still during intercourse, helps to initiate the movement of the current within the ascending flame, drawing atoms from out of the body substance into the upward spiraling flow.  In a rising current, atomic substance ascends before the throne of God in one’s temple, represented by the Pineal Body, to be transmuted by sacred alchemy into angelic light substance.  Thus is union with the Divine attained through this sacred practice and ritual.

This is an alchemical fire that burns through and within the flesh but does not consume it. The Crown Chakra plays a role here as well. A single ascending current of silvery substance begins to flow and can be felt moving up through the Pineal Gland of both lovers, enriching the Silver Cord of connection.  In the midst of this sacred alchemy one suddenly knows the other as oneself. Flesh becomes vibrationally fused so that the partners feel what each other is experiencing as they lose all sense of separateness, spiritually as well as physically.

This is, without exception, a most holy and powerful experience of union with the Beloved. Out of this union between two angels on earth comes a most exquisite, yet easy, release of love through a unified current of radiation as a portal is opened in heaven through which light pours out in ceaseless currents. These sacred times of worship, either alone or with another conscious angel, can be used to extend a radiant blessing into one’s world in consciousness. Consciousness then becomes an extension of the altar, now sanctified by the oil of love, upon which we may offer the tithes of our world of service upward for healing and spiritualization. For anything that touches the altar is sanctified. Sexual intimacy is very much an integral part of our angelic function as co-creators with God, and we would continually know that and participate in ascension as we return these sacred vessels to their holy purpose: the worship of God.

♦ ◊ ♦

The world would be transformed in a cosmic moment were these sacred vessels sanctified and returned to their sacred function. In the wake of such transformative change, spiritualized atomic substance would begin to ascend to find its way back Home in the Heaven of heavens before the throne of God, whose creating substance it is.  In this sacred function, we as the Body of Man restored would fulfill and complete our primary purpose for existence: the return of praise and thanksgiving by way of spiritualized flesh to the Creator, whose world this is. This could only be done by divine beings, angels incarnate, who have come forth in a radiant apocalypse of light, and taken charge of the physical material world in the name of our Lord and King.  It will never be done by “mere humans” eking out transient pleasure in self gratification, often without thought given to the possible consequence of conception. Such temporary pleasures are as nothing compared to the ecstatic pleasure of priestly function in service to the Lord of the Sacred Seven.

I invite and welcome your thoughts and inspirations. Until my next post,

Be love.  Be loved.

Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, pg 13: Abiding in Love Always

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”¹

♦♦♦ ◊ ♦♦♦

IN BRINGING this series to a close, reflecting back on the period in which SACRED ANATOMY was written and published, between the years 1990 and 2005, those nine years during which I was compelled by Spirit to bring the image out of the heaven and into print were years of virtual withdrawal from the world and of dwelling “in the Secret Place of the Most High . . . under the Shadow of the Almighty,” as the psalmist declares.¹  It was a gift from Spirit, given as enlightenment and personal counsel, intended to be shared in book form.

Perhaps it has outlived its original purpose, its subject having little if any relevance in today’s world of chaos and global unrest wherein more momentous and pressing issues are in focus, such as our survival as a species.  And the proverbial “choir” has moved on to more advanced transformational music.  It’s time to move on.  So I offer this final excerpt for those who are still interested and enjoying these meditations.  I thank you for completing this series with me.  Now on to the finale.

ABIDING IN LOVE ALWAYS

Our understanding of these sacred vessels as portals for love’s radiant release is purified in the furnace of the pure heart as they are brought back into the Holy Place and used rightly so that we do not keep getting burned by the unbridled release of this creative power [which is multiplying flesh on an overpopulated planet]. It is in the heart, after all, where we live our daily lives.  This is our inner bedroom, so-to-speak, our altar in our temple.  How do I keep this room?  Is it a place of peace and restfulness, or is it rather cluttered with the unresolved issues of daily living?  Is it a heaven or a hell?  Is it holy or defiled?  This will make all the difference in the quality of my experience of sexual intimacy, because I bring the essences of my day’s activities with me to the altar in this temple service.

The secret of alchemy lies in abiding in Love always.  One cannot, for instance, spend one’s day in a state of complaint and turmoil and expect to share in sacred sex at the close of the day—or whenever one may choose to share this potent release of love’s alchemical fire.  Arguments are not resolved by “having sex” for instance.  The energies charging issues that need to be addressed and resolved are only intensified, making them more volatile.  Nor does it make things “all right again” between two people who have been hurting one another mentally, emotionally and physically.  Time and space need to be provided to resolve the coarser issues of living in the work-a-day world of the outer court.  They do not belong in the holy place of the temple.

In the temple of Solomon there was the outer court where things that did not belong in the holy place could be dealt with.  This is the mental and emotional levels of our outer being.  Here is where we rightly handle issues that we deal with every day out in the “encampment” of our larger fields of service.  And issues do need to be dealt with and resolved between two people who are committed to a shared life of intimacy.

It is a challenge to deal with issues where differences and disagreements arise.  It’s easier to say “Forget the talking, let’s just go to bed and make love, then everything will be all right again.”  This has never proven out to resolve anything, and love is not “made” as we considered earlier.  On the contrary, the problems only intensify and pile up on the shelf, which gets heavier and weightier until one day it all comes crashing down on top of our heads and the substance of the relationship is threatened, often violently dissipated.  Irreparable damage may be done as open hearts are deeply injured. The dominance of one sex over the other cannot be creative and is certainly not enjoyable. . . .

Generally it seems that women are the wiser in relationships in that they know the importance of talking things out and resolving them.  Often their emotions become reactive, arousing defensiveness in men, who feel attacked.  Women are the ones who are usually left with the responsibility of initiating any important dialogue.  It need not be so.  Men can learn to open the space for such dialogue.

From my own resistive experience, the way to that dialogue includes taking deliberate steps to open up the space in order to confront and resolve issues.  This is the “work” those who seek creative relationships must do in order to find the union that love would bring. That is not always a comfortable experience as it necessarily involves becoming vulnerable as one opens up to hidden and guarded areas of past wounding.  Dialogue involves honest inquiry to uncover assumptions and misconceptions in order to reveal the truth.  It also requires suspension of judgment, criticism and blame.  There is a paradox here in that the vulnerability we seek to avoid is what leads to intimacy, and ultimately to communion, the essential ingredient of true relationship.

The Dalai Lama said, in his Millennium Advice,  “Take into account that great love and great achievements involve great risk.”  He also advised, “Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.”  His most insightful piece of advice, however, in my opinion anyway, is “In disagreements with loved ones, deal only with the current situation.  Don’t bring up the past.”  That is an easy pit to stumble into.

As one stands on one’s own ground of “radical authenticity” and passion for the truth of love in one’s relationship with another, and passion for the genuine experience of intimacy where trust and honesty are valued above all other privileges and pleasures of a relationship, one will have the opportunity to experience one’s own angelic fire, as well as that of one’s partner.  Such a fire is a beautiful, albeit fierce, power to know in oneself and to behold in another, giving rise to a deep sense of respect and honor between couples who dare to stand in the fire of Love together—and who take the time to learn and utilize the tools of dialogue that keep them on the path to clarity, as well as from taking the more familiar path of attacking, defending and name calling . . . or walking away.

As true men and women, we love and honor that in each other and want to be full partners in that same angelic fire that will not settle for anything less than the real and genuine in our experience of love in intimate relationship with another sacred and precious angel incarnate.  The tendency is to avoid heated arguments because of the discomfort they often produce.   We can agree to disagree and then welcome confrontations as necessary encounters with the truth in order to arrive together on the other side in a place of accord where love still abides as sweet and strong as ever.

No man, or woman, can destroy the fire of spirit. One need never lose one’s sense of identity with the angel.  Nor need one ever let another take one’s crown of self-control and authority and become subject to another’s power and control.  The Father within is always present to receive our spirit and to support us in our ordeals in life, if we would but remember to make space in the heart for His presence.

It is essential, I feel, that both partners have an active and personal communication with their Father within before they come together to share in the powerful creative currents of love.  Otherwise a truly creative relationship is not likely to develop and blossom . . . .

Life, in oneself and in another, is sacred and is not to be taken lightly, or “messed with,” in common parlance.  The angel of fire we each are will simply not allow it, and if he/she is pushed far enough, the angel will come forth to deal with the situation forthrightly.  We know not the power that lies within this body temple in the angel incarnate we each are. Perhaps we do have a clue when we are forced to come forth in emergencies.  That is what emergencies are, moments that require us to fully emerge and deal with things forthrightly, assisted by our powerful Adrenal Glands and the tranquil vibration of the Spirit of the Single Eye.

There is definitely a time for repentance, for turning around and facing one another in the current of love in “sacred space” before facing the issues that need resolving, and surely before approaching the altar of Sacred Sex together.  Love is a fire which purifies that which it loves, and love cares for our human capacities which give us presence and expression on earth.   In order to come through them with clarity, it often chastises them. Whatever is there—the residue of our day’s activities in service to our world, for example—is met by this fire.  What is not of love, not genuine, not you, is burned up and left for dross by the Spirit of Purification.  What is too heavy to ascend in the fire will descend and fall away. Only that which is gold, or “fine brass”—precious, in other words—will ascend, and if one is identified with the dross, or holding onto it, then one may get burned as well.

This is essentially what is being declared when one exclaims, “That just burns me up!”  One has to let go of it entirely, leave it out of the holy place and out of one’s life forever—certainly out of the sacred space of relationship. One way of letting go of something that “burns us up” is to stop judging it. [Another is to seek the help of a personal counselor in exposing the hot buttons and disarming them. (See footnote for a reference.)]²

Sex is not casual when it embodies Love.  Love is purposeful and its purpose is creation and blessing.  It is truly the most powerful force in our lives, which must be handled with great care and approached with our hearts first and well before we approach it with our genitals.   Then the sacred vessels of the temple are well anointed with the oil of love for the release of the blessings of the Spirit of the New Earth in a current of unified radiation of love into our worlds. We may truly say then, ”Behold, I make all things new.”  The very atoms that comprise our body temples, which started their ascent far out in the mineral and vegetable kingdoms of the Natural World, are lifted up in the ascending fire of love to become the living flesh of the Great Spirit that created them.  Ascension is our primary role as co-creators with God.  How else will the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our God save through us who comprise his beloved, holy temple on Earth?

We lift up the substance of our individual worlds in the temple service of sacred sex so that some of it might be transmuted, or spiritualized, into angelic substance,  and the rest sent back out into the Natural World renewed and sanctified by Love.  We bring it all into the Father’s house by taking it into our sacred hearts and hands. Thus is the world made new.  And there is so much to be made new.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.  (Malachi 3:10)

This is the service I came on earth to offer, the service I believe we each came to offer when we incarnated in these temples of flesh.

I do not see ascension as something we are to strive for in order to escape this world of trial and tribulation.  It is our very work and pleasure to lift up our bodies and our worlds, together with all other angels incarnate with us on this beautiful planet.  Let our passion be utterly to this end that we may each fulfill our mission and purpose in life, singularly and all together, to bless the world with shining light, with beauty and peace, and bring it all Home to the One whose world this is. Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, pg 12: Ecstasy At All Levels

When you strip naked without shame and trample your clothing underfoot just as little children do, then you will look at the son of the living one without being afraid.  —Jesus, from The Gospel of Thomas

Upon giving further thought and consideration to this series on the Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, it seems only fitting that I complete the series by sharing the last two sections of this chapter in my book — the complete title of which is SACRED ANATOMY . . . were spirit and flesh dance in the fire of creation.  So here they are in two posts.  I think you will agree that they bring the consideration of Sacred Sex to an appropriately exalted level.  Enjoy.

ECSTASY AT ALL LEVELS

IT IS AT THE PHYSICAL PLANE of Being where we ground the experience of Life’s juicy sexuality, a sexuality that permeates our entire being, starting with the seventh level in the Pineal where I Am love radiantly abiding and drawing my creative field together; to the Pituitary where in wisdom I embrace with deep care that which is drawn to me, the true and beautiful in myself and in my lover;  to the Thyroid where we infuse our flesh with the radiance of life and prepare to share that radiance with our world; then on down into the Thymus where with hearts pure and sure we know and know that we know the presence of the Beloved, whom we love with our whole and shared heart; through the Islets of Langerhans in the Pancreas where our cup overflows with joy unspeakable in that realization of the Presence of the One in whom we find ourselves unified; on to the Adrenal glands where all power in heaven and on earth is given to us to fulfill love’s purpose and passion; and the final warm and loving embrace of the new earth of sacred flesh by the angel of the Gonads in the right and left hands of God, hands that now we are and have always been, male and female partners in love’s co-creativity and life’s pro-creativity.  All is consummated within an ascending flame of love that brings sweet, ecstatic union with the Divine. The endocrine glands can thus be seen as representing in flesh the metaphorical Holy Grail all seek to find, and it is here within these flesh temples.

Ecstasy literally means being put out of a state of stasis, of balance and equilibrium, on the physical plane and transported into a higher state of joy and even rapture.  Physical oneness between flesh bodies is born out of the spiritual union of incarnate angels. The Seven Spirits before the throne of God (described by St. John in the Book of Revelation as “lamps of fire”) work as one in orchestrating the Ceremony of Ascension by which the outer self becomes one with the inner Self.  Human flesh becomes spiritualized substance in the purifying and rarifying fire of Love through the Divine alchemy of the Masculine and Feminine Principles working within the individual, or between two angels incarnate.

We are wise to be patient with this powerful sexuality of Life which draws substance together in the ascending currents of the fire of Love.  As true stewards of substance we are careful so as to let only those substances that belong together, are creative and purposeful together, mix and blend in our hearts and in our flesh so as not to confuse and compromise our heart substance.  This is the essence behind the commandment of old relative to the act of adultery, the mixing and blending of substances that do not belong together.

Patience is of utmost importance here so that we do not abort cycles that are working out to bring forth creative and intimate relationships between ourselves and others.  The human tendency all too often is to rush into physical intimacy before the substance of friendship has had a chance to grow, mature and blossom, and before we mature to the point where we know our inner Self as who we are and begin to sufficiently master the blending and marriage between the inner Self and the outer capacity to know Self.  Spiritual intimacy with another is born out of personal and individual intimacy with the Truth of Love that alone brings forth Life. Spiritual intimacy, then, prepares the way for the experience of the magical and sacred alchemy of physical intimacy.

The sexuality of Life belongs to the Ones who created it, Father God and Mother God.  It permeates all levels of Creation. When we enjoy the physical intimacy of sex, God does as well.  When God is included in the enjoyment of sex consciously, the experience of spiritual ecstasy is inevitable and transcends, though not necessarily excludes glandular orgasm.  Orgasm is not seen by the angel as the purpose of sex.  For the angel, orgasm is a chosen experience and is entirely up to his/her own discretion.  It is seen as a means to an end rather than an end in itself. It is mainly seen as a means of infusing one’s creative field with the substance of love, the creative power.  It is necessary for procreation, although this is obviously not its exclusive purpose.  Whether there is the experience of orgasm or the release of unified radiation through a point of stillness, both heaven and earth sing together as the two hands of God come together to applaud and celebrate the communion shared by his angels incarnate.  Angels love one another and know the other as self.  In such a state of shared union with the Beloved, we discover that we are God enjoying our sexuality.

We sometimes refer to sexual intercourse as “making love,” and yet love cannot be “made.” Love is already and fills the entire temple from its radiant abode in the “seventh heaven,” which is the domain of the Pineal Body.  Here is where love is “made,” if we want to use that word. What is made here is more of a covenant with God, a sacred agreement with the Almighty.  We return full cycle to our consideration earlier of the ark of the covenant of love in the tabernacle of God that is with men. The word “covenant” derives from the Latin “convenire,” which means to convene, to come together in an agreement.  If our agreement as angels, before we even incarnated, was to bring spiritualized flesh back to God, then the Pineal Body can be seen as our appointed place of rendezvous with God on earth, hence the intensity of radiation of love one feels in this gland during sexual intimacy and ecstasy when the fire descends through heaven’s portal and fills the temple with light and glory.

As we keep this covenant sacred, honoring and nurturing our vertical connection and intercourse with Love above the worldly horizontal when we share in physical intimacy, the power of Love has a clear shot into our worlds from the level of the Seventh Heaven.  Our genital organs themselves become the external altars and vessels for our Temple Service, a means of releasing that power into the creative field to bless and sanctify all things therein.  We enjoy the pleasure of love’s unified release into the world in all its dimensions and levels through these wonderful and entirely practical vessels of our sacred anatomy.

The ascending current of the flame of Love is pleasurable beyond any pleasures known to man, simply because it affords us the experience of knowing oneness with the Beloved, and affords the Beloved the enjoyment of all the mansions of the Father’s House.  In the ecstasy of union, my Beloved and I are one.  Sexual intimacy affords human beings the highest form of union with God on the physical plane of being. From this place of union the lord of the temple speaks the creative command, “Behold, I make all things new.” ♥

“Abiding in Love Always” is the topic of my next and final post in this series.  As always, I welcome any thoughts my readers may wish to share.  Thank you for sharing my thoughts and meditations.   — Anthony

Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, pg 11: Divine Alchemy

I am the Spirit of the New Earth

I welcome the substance by which I create all things new

in patience and right expectancy

I am the spirit of love

The vibrational tone of the Spirit of the New Earth is a low frequency in the red zone of the rainbow spectrum of Love’s White Light as it moves through the Gonadal seal of the seven endocrine glands.  The radiation of Love at this base level moves earth substance with the currents of masculine/feminine energy working as one creating force to bring forth new life forms.

The Creative Process had already moved down through all six levels above, beginning in the Pineal Gland where the violet frequency of Love moves down into the Pituitary Gland and, stepped down to the blue vibration of the Spirit of the Womb or Truth, conceives the seed of Life which is then nurtured by the masculine/feminine parental hormonal energies provided by the anterior and posterior lobes of this Mother Gland.

Life is thus born of the union of Love and Truth in and through the Thyroid gland that proceeds to give vitality to the body cells, and the parathyroid glands that metabolize calcium for bone building and strengthening.

The vibration of Love is further stepped down to provide a purifying fire in the Thymus gland, the heart of the immune system, and through it in immune cells distributed throughout the body temple.  The Vibration of Love is stepped down further as the River of Life descends the steps of the temple to the level of the Pancreas and the Islets of Langerhans, where the vibration of Blessing is focused and sent forth through joyful currents of emotional energy.

From this level, the current of Love steps down one more level to empower the Adrenal glands and fill the temple with the Light of the Spirit of the Single Eye, bringing the mind to a sharp focus for the shining of the Light of Truth into the world.  The final step is down into the realm of creative activity, the domain of the Spirit of the New Earth, where new life is born through the Womb of the Great Mother, portrayed here by the graphic of the Vesica Pisces.

The Vesica Pisces

THE TWO CIRCLES forming the Vesica Pisces can also be seen to represent the inner world of spirit and Divine consciousness and the outer world of form and human consciousness. These two worlds, or realms, are connected in human consciousness where they overlap, the one being the realm of darkness and void and the other being the realm of light and manifest form.  In other words, the realm of creator and the realm of creation, which are inseparably one.

Diana Durham writes: “Thus the vesica symbolizes both the deep feminine, the source of creation, and the place of connection between spirit and form, heaven and earth.” Durham continues:

What other symbol has such connotations?  The Grail chalice itself: the feminine form and vessel of the chalice or cup, whose shape clearly echoes that of the womb and whose appearance in the Grail Castle signifies the beginning connection with the Grail King energy of the inner realms. . . .

The womb contains both menstrual blood or the newly forming baby.  Both blood and baby are symbols of life. . . .  The cup of the Eucharist holds wine, the symbol of Christ’s blood and a symbol of life.  So something is held in, or issues out of, the Grail that is life-giving. . . .

Perhaps the most central meaning of both aspects of the Grail is given here in this beautiful and simple passage from the Psalm 23: “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”  The heart is full to overflowing with the presence of love, irrespective of outer circumstance—“in the presence of mine enemies.” The heart that is open to the presence of the heavenly king energy, in other words the experience of union—connection—with the divine source: this is what finding the Grail symbolizes in the Grail quest.  The container is the heart, and that which is contained within it, the life-giving substance, is the substance of love.

If the two circles of the vesica pisces symbol represents the inner and outer, the spiritual and material worlds, and the vesica shape is the place where the two connect, then finding the Grail also means to find the place of connection between these two worlds and to let them be joined instead of separated.  This place of connection symbolizes the purified heart realm. (The Return of King Arthur, pp .67-69)

Sharing in Sacred Sex, two lovers are connected with the sovereign energy of the King and Queen bringing with it the experience of ecstatic union with the Divine.  In order to enter this state, both must be conversant with the secrets of sacred alchemy . . . that, when allowed to work in their lives and in their “lovemaking,” bring a natural awareness of design and control inherent in the truth of sacred sex.

That control is found to work particularly within the male who withholds his ejaculation so as to provide a radiant positive pole in his erection for the negative response of his receptive female partner as she opens her vesica to receive his love.  They must also be open in their hearts to love and be willing to go through a process of purification, for it is through the heart that one accesses the secrets of the sacred alchemy of the “deep feminine.”

For that alchemy to be actualized there needs to be an arc of love between the two lovers. With the charge produced by this arc, the One Law we considered earlier in our meditation on the Pituitary Gland and the Creative Process (positive action—negative response—attraction—union—unified radiation), which is the power that creates and renews the world, is engaged.

(In order to fully grasp and appreciate this symbolism, it would be most helpful and really necessary to read Diana’s book in its entirety.  In her chapter “The Dance” she shows in a most wonderful and understandable way how the dance between the masculine and the feminine works to create the arc of creative juice that renews the world.)

Divine Alchemy

Constraints imposed by the Church in the early centuries of the Christian Era, pushed the practice of alchemy underground.  The erotic roots of alchemy have apparently been shrouded by the pseudo-alchemical process of changing baser metals into gold, which was employed as a smoke screen to keep the real ritual of alchemy occult. The true alchemy occurred during sacred sex and was of divine origin, its purpose being to transmute human flesh, symbolized by lower metals, into the substance of love, symbolized by gold, thereby spiritualizing flesh.  An ancient rite of the anointing of the “sacred king” was based on the idea that the true priest or king received his divine power through the high priestess, without whom he was nothing.

Alchemy can be found in Egyptian religious practices as far back as the early centuries of the Christian Era and this knowledge was procured by the goddess Isis herself, who, according to the story in one treatise, “obtained the secrets of alchemy from an ‘angel and prophet’ through her feminine wiles.” (The Templar Revelation, Chapter 7, “Sex: The Ultimate Sacrament”)

Here in the West, outside of the intimate worlds of individual couples who have explored this “taboo,” we do not share  a consciousness of the sacred in our sexuality, much less a common knowledge of the alchemy produced through sacred sex.  It certainly is not included in our religious upbringing as a sacred part of us, much less a sacred ritual.  It is rather looked upon with much shame and guilt.  The authors of The Templar Revelation point out that this ritual was more about a couple becoming gods than about erotic sex.  First the high priestess becomes the goddess and then endows the man with divinity through the alchemy of her sexuality.  Through their union, their shared world was infused with “a regenerative balm,” as were they. . . .  The priestess’ body became a virtual “gateway to the gods” as the goddess/priestess united with the god/priest in a marriage rite that served the purpose of procreation as well as a way by which she bestowed wisdom on man.  The anointing of Jesus by Mary of Bethany, who was a priestess, was such a pagan ritual.     (Ibid, pp. 257-258)

Jesus is usually thought of in Christendom as having been celibate, and there seem to be as many arguments that support this idea as there are that prove its fallacy.   Without entering into the debate, I would simply suggest that Jesus had a sweetheart, and she was Mary of Bethany, which Picknett and Prince believe is one and the same as Mary Magdalene.

According to Elaine Pagels, author of The Gnostic Gospels. . . , while the other disciples despised her for her intimate relationship with the Master, Jesus honored Mary of Bethany with the title of “Apostle of Apostles.”  One text says “she spoke as a woman who knew the All.” She was raised by the Master above all the other disciples and declared by him to be the futuristic ruler of the “Kingdom of Light.”   He also called her “Mary Lucifer” and “Mary the Light-bringer.” As the texts portray the relationship between Jesus and Mary, he so loved her that there was nothing he could refuse her, including her request to raise up her brother Lazarus from the dead, which he did strictly out of love for her. This respectful treatment of her and loving regard by Jesus was not a small thing as it emphasized a basic shift needed at a core level of human consciousness during a period of history when women were still looked down upon as not being worthy even of life.

With this account of the quality of substance between them, the marriage feast at Cana could well have been their own wedding feast.  I have no problem with that, and there is ample evidence to support this scenario.   Why would the Master Jesus have circumvented this pivotal and most powerful aspect of our humanity whereby we experience the pleasure of union with our Creator and with one another in the physical plane of Being ?

The piece I wish to articulate here relates to the fact that this area of sexual function has long been hidden in the dark corners of human consciousness amid the rubble of the ancient residue of past failures on the part of Man, male and female, to come clean before the Lord of Creation, naked and unashamed of who we are.  Sexuality’s redemption and return to sanctity seems long overdue and, in the experience of many, is well underway. ♦                                              _____________________________________________________________________________

Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, pg 9: Sacred Alchemy & the Vesica Pisces

“I Have Found the One My Soul Loves”

THE SCRIPTURAL QUOTE above is the fourth verse of the third book of the Song of Solomon, also known as the Song of Songs.  One can see this as finding one’s soul’s love embodied in a lover; also as finding one’s Beloved within one’s own heart.  Lusting after union with the Divine via sacred sex has a rich as well as controversial history.  It has degenerated over the centuries to lusting after the pleasures of the flesh, particularly the female body which has been objectified in our modern social entertainment and our commercial enterprises.

Religion has played a pivotal role in this degeneration, relegating sex outside of the “Sacrament of Holy Matrimony” to the performance of a sinful act, creating a controversy that has led to the persecution of women for their enjoyment of sex outside the arbitrary perimeter of “sex for the purpose of procreation.”

This is the current state of fallen human consciousness in the old heaven and old earth.  Notwithstanding, many couples have found the Beloved in one another and share a romantic love that draws them together in inseparable union with the Beloved and with one another, finding and experiencing their own Divine Self as one with the other, where in truth there is no “other.”  Such couples experience spiritual intimacy before physical intimacy.

THIS SERIES of posts features a meditation on the Spirit of the New Earth Vibration.  New earth throughout the Universe is born of the sacred intercourse and union between the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine—masculine energy drawing form together and feminine energy giving form birth and nurturing it to maturity, then unraveling it and returning its essences back to the One from whom it arose—and it’s all one entity, one process accomplished by way of a spectrum of vibrational frequencies of light and sound.

(For an in-depth consideration of this creative relationship, I invite you to visit my blog series of October, 2018 entitled Our Masculine/Feminine Energy.)

In my book SACRED ANATOMY I explore and meditate upon the historical experience of Sacred Sex as it was once openly and ceremonially practiced.  The following in an excerpt from the chapter on Sacred Sex.

The Vesica Pisces

The controversy and persecutions were over the alchemical power inherent in the tiny gland at the top of the gothic archway of the vulva, an archway that embodies the mystical Vesica Pisces, an image in sacred geometry formed by overlapping circles, possibly one of the most profound motifs of ancient and modern times.

Throughout earliest traditions, the Vesica Piscis represented the source of immense creative power and energy, a vibrational portal, if you will, between heaven and earth that makes possible the outpouring of love into the world as well as a birth canal for all of Creation.  This same portal in sacred sex becomes the way into the presence of the Beloved, the “secret place of the Most High.”

This portal appears not only in the union between God and Goddess, the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine.  It also appears “in the midst” where any two or more are gathered in the name—or shem in the Aramaic, meaning vibration—of love.

I am inclined to believe that the alchemy of ecstatic union with the Divine is entirely the domain of the feminine, even in the male who has enough of the feminine in his makeup to produce such alchemy.

Another way of saying this is: one who’s mind meditates daily upon the spiritual laws of being and obeys them in one’s living, and who’s heart is lifted up and open to the purifying currents of love pouring out of heaven. It is in this governance of spirit and openness to love, as poet and modern-day muse Diana Durham elaborates in splendid detail in her book [The Return of King Arthur], that the enlightened mind and purified heart, symbolized by the sword and the cup, find their resting place together in the kingdom of heaven restored, through these sacred vessels, to the kingdoms of this world.

I will continue in this consideration and expand on its theme in my next post. Until then, be happy.  Be safe.

Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, pg 8: The Holy Grail

“If your humanity overflows, divinity inevitably happens. If your humanity is allowed to reach its very peak, divinity is a living reality for you. If your humanity is not allowed to reach its peak, divinity is just empty talk.  It’s “up there.”  (Sadhguru Joggi Vasudev)¹

As I continue to share excerpts from my book SACRED ANATOMY, it is not without an awareness that the subject of our sexuality is not a very relevant one in light of today’s many critical and existential issues.  It is only relevant to an ongoing creative cycle that offers promise of a Golden Age and a New Earth emerging out of the New Heaven.  In this new cycle all creating things continue to be sacred.  The energetic vibration of the first seal in the endocrine system, the Gonads, is one of newness and right-expectancy.  The gift of the Spirit of the New Earth working through this seal is patience.  With these considerations, I continue to share a vision of what might be as we co-create a new world.

THE HOLY GRAIL

THE HOPE AND POSSIBILITY for restoring connection with Source and returning to the state of union with the LORD God in the Garden of Paradise forms the basis for the Grail Quest in the Arthurian Legend.  Metaphorically speaking, once the cup is reunited with the sword, the feminine with the masculine, and King Arthur restored to the throne with his Queen as an equal and worthy partner in all their royal duties and functions, the magical kingdom of Camelot is restored. Once human consciousness is reunited with divine consciousness and the divine is once again present and in action in human affairs, Paradise can be restored on Earth.

The symbolism of this legendary myth may be seen as pointing to the restoration of the Wounded Fisher King’s sexual potency and productivity.  Remember, it is the Wounded Fisher King who is guardian over the Grail in his home, the Grail Castle. He is wounded early in the story and the wound was caused by a spear that pierced him through his thighs, which also involved his genitals, according to Wolfram von Eschenbach’s version of the story in Parzival.  His wound, which casts a shadow of infertility upon the land and consequent poverty upon the subjects of his kingdom, will not heal.  So his life and entire kingdom are cast into desolation and misery.  It is foretold that healing would be possible only when an innocent fool—Perceval in the story—stumbles into his court and inquires about the purpose of the Grail.

The placing of the wound in the King’s genitals has been taken by some as reflecting on the church’s suppression of natural sexuality.  It was believed, then, that only by going on a quest for the Holy Grail, would the spiritual stagnation prevalent at that time be eliminated and replaced by enlightenment. There is no mistake that this quest was specifically focused in the feminine, as an Italian painting of Venus being adored by Grail knights portrays. In this fifteenth century painting, Venus is depicted by the artist inside the vesica pisces—representing, as we shall soon see, the womb of the Great Mother, or the Grail itself—with rays of light pouring out from her genital region and with knights and heroes below looking up to her in adoration. While the portrayal of this painting may be seen today as that of “lusting after the flesh,” certainly as lusting after the female body and the pleasure of sexual intimacy, it was seen back then in Eighteenth century Europe as a celebration of sacred sexuality, one of the key elements of Europe’s underground tradition, and of feminine wisdom or Sophia.  The painting clearly portrays how the power of female sexuality was held as something most sacred and that lusting after intimacy with the feminine was a lusting after union with divinity itself, the prime gift of the Holy Grail.

The restoration of the legendary magical kingdom of Camelot obviously rests upon the sacred reunion of the masculine with the feminine so that the two become one, as it was in the Beginning.  The Grail Quest story indicates that would happen only when the cup and the sword are reunited, the sword representing the empowered masculine and the cup the empowering feminine. Perceval is instructed in the story to be careful not to seduce or be seduced by a woman and to be sure, upon finding the Grail, to ask the question, “Whom does the Grail serve?”  Perceval is so taken by the magical properties of the Grail, which generously serves up his heart’s desire of food and drink, that he fails to ask the right question and soon finds himself outside the King’s court and back out in the wilderness, only now with an unquenchable thirst for the magical experience of the Grail in the King’s court once again. Eventually, after much anguish and bitter toil—and ultimately deep, passionate longing for the Grail—he finds his way back to the Grail Castle.

(My favorite author on this theme of the search for the Holy Grail is Diana Durham, whom  I’ve introduced in an earlier chapter.  Diana presents her enlightening insights into the Arthurian Legend as she thoroughly and invitingly explores the spiritual significance and essences hidden in its mythical symbolism in The Return of King Arthur. I will include an excerpt from her book in my consideration of the Vesica Pisces in my next post.)

The restoration of the magical kingdom of Camelot—of our sexuality—is possible once the King is honored and served up love from out of the Holy Grail of the human heart.  That would happen only when the man and woman, upon receiving each other’s hearts as they engage their sexuality, ask the right question and heed the answer: The Grail serves the Grail King. The King of Creation, who created the Grail in the first place, is the worthy recipient of the sacred and juicy essences generated and rightly sent upward in the alchemy of sexual union and ecstasy. The secrets to such alchemy and ecstasy lie hidden in the mysteries of feminine sexuality, or more specifically the “Feminine Principle.”

The suppression of the mysteries of feminine sexuality may well be at the roots of the scandalous turbulence we are witnessing today in the Catholic church relative to pedophile priests.  Thwarting the natural design and purposes of life for human beings can only lead to distortions in behavior. The Divine Feminine cannot be left out of human experience without repercussions. She will find her way into human relationships at the most intimate levels without respect to gender, and those who attempt to deny Her will find themselves seeking union with Her in the shadows of deviant behavior with the same irresistible passion that drives them to seek union with the Divine, for She is divine.

Historically, the Feminine Principle was once the centerpiece of much controversy and, as we have noted, persecution—strangely enough focused in a hatred and fear of midwives who posed a threat to the status quo of civilized decency because of their knowledge and skills in minimizing the pain in childbirth, when painful childbirth was taught by the Church to be the punishment for original sin.  During the early centuries of the Christian era, women’s sexuality was regarded with fear. Knowledge of the secrets of the Feminine was considered to be so fiercely powerful that it posed a unique threat to Christian thinking and to the authority of the Church itself.  This gave rise to the atrocities perpetrated by the Church against the Cathars during the Albegensian Crusades in thirteenth century France when over a hundred thousand, mostly women, were massacred.

Even to this day there is no Christian concept of sex for joy only, let alone the idea—as in Tantrism or alchemy—that it can bring spiritual enlightenment. On the contrary, the Catholic Church forbids contraception and other Christian groups, such as the Mormons, frown upon post-menopausal sex. The authors of The Templar Revelation leave little doubt that all of these regulations were really about control over women, who it was thought must be made to view their sexuality with apprehension, “either because it is joyless, their marital duty and nothing else, or because it leads inevitably to the pain of childbirth.”

Vesica Pisces

The controversy and persecutions were over the alchemical power inherent in the tiny gland at the top of the gothic archway of the vulva, an archway that embodies the mystical Vesica Pisces, an image in sacred geometry formed by overlapping circles, possibly one of the most profound motifs of ancient and modern times. (Excerpted from SACRED ANATOMY)

I will reveal the “lot more” the Vesica Pisces represents in my next post. I will close by sharing something most thought-provoking that Bishop Desmond Tutu said recently:

I have this secret longing—well, it’s not so secret as I’ve said it before—for women to take over and say “Men, we gave you all of this time. . . . You’ve made a mess of things. Women are taking over.” And women who would be feminine—not women who try to be like men—women who remember that they are life nurturers.  And I’m absolutely certain we would see a different world order.¹

Well, it’s happened before, as we shall see in my next post. Until then, be safe.   Anthony

FIERCE LOVE is one of the chief gifts of the Divine Feminine working through the hearts of both men and women.  Other gifts are resilience and an empathic capacity to embrace pain and bring healing to old wounds in the heart.  From my own experience, some of her greatest needs are honesty, affection, unconditional love, finding her voice and being heard.

A prophetic promise from the Book of Genesis is unfolding as the head of the serpent of the human intellect is being stepped on and “bruised” by the “heel” of the Feminine.  The masculine destroyer of Mother Nature’s creations for monetary gain is being told by the Great Mother through her rising spirit in womankind: “THAT’S ENOUGH! STOP! THUS FAR AND NO FURTHER!  The news media are not bringing it to us, but it’s happening everywhere the world over.

Take time to view this brief movie trailer of Time of the Sixth Sun.  It’s happening.  We are moving into the Golden Age of a quantum new world where things are happening as fast as thought, and love and joy are bursting out all over.  The speakers all speak from out of a balanced field of Masculine and Feminine energy.  This is a turning point in the evolution of the human race and of the Earth.  As one speaker summed it up,

“During this time of change we don’t have to do anything to protect ourselves. Going to a secret place somewhere, or hiding food in the ground or guns and stuff, and trying to protect ourselves, it’s not going to work. It’s simply about being in your heart, being connected to the Mother Earth and Father Sky, being directly connected to the Great Spirit.  This is simple. Anybody can do it.”  (Drunvalo Melchizadek)

Excerpt from SACRED ANATOMY:

The Divine Feminine

The Divine Feminine is the negatively charged body of response of Mother God to the positively charged radiance of Father God. This is not a passive receptivity but a very actively charged energy that rushes to meet the positive radiation of love through the Divine Masculine, not to serve him, nor to be at his beck and call, but to empower and dance with him. For the dance to be enjoyable and creative, the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine must both be present on the dance floor of life and engaged with one another.  The commonly known animalistic male-female relationship is not sufficient, and dissolves with the revelation of Divine Man and Divine Woman on earth.

The Feminine Principle produces the alchemy that unites us with God and then draws to us the circumstances in which we find ourselves throughout our lives in and through which we may fulfill our mission and purpose for incarnating, which is to bring the things of God, the gifts of spirit, into the world.  In the Biblical story of the wedding feast at Cana, for example, which is believed to be a celebration of the sacred marriage of Jesus and Mary of Bethany, it is Mary of Bethany who arranges for the vessels of water to be brought to Jesus to be made into wine, bringing to him as well their life’s shared mission and destiny—echoing and rectifying that event in the Genesis story of the Fall wherein reportedly Eve brought Adam the “forbidden fruit,” and with it their life’s work of creating a world on Earth without their Creator but only with their own judgements of what feels good and what is deemed evil.  By turning the water into wine Jesus made the Truth of Life once more available to Man.

In the story of the Grail Quest, the Feminine Principle, which operates through the heart realm, can be seen as being represented by the Grail itself—the chalice out of which Jesus drank at the Last Supper.  She is the chalice, the cup, for the life blood—the substance of one’s living symbolized by the wine—from which the Lord of the Sacred Dance partakes of life with us. The cup can thus be seen as the cupped hand of Divine Providence that brings to us each moment’s task, be it large or small.

Jesus is recorded to have asked his Father from the deep passion of his heart to take the “cup” of his betrayal and ignominious execution from him.  Sometimes the Feminine brings great challenges to us that will, if accepted courageously and met with a victorious spirit, bring us closer to our core quest in life, that of union with Source. “Thy will be done” was the attitude of the Master in this seemingly impossible situation that ultimately led to his resurrection from the tomb and ascension into the arms of his heavenly Father from whence he came—from whence we all came.

Containment being her very nature, the substance of the feminine energy provides a container filled with the water of truth that turns into the wine of life when she is allowed to embrace—spiritually as well as physically—the hot and fully erected vertical shaft of radiant masculine light. She is as the water surrounding the rod of plutonium in an atomic reactor that allows it to yield its power without burning a hole in the earth, to use a modern-day energy metaphor. If he will let her, she will ground him but not smother his fire nor use it all up loving her.   They both must come clean of their shadow side for this dance to be fun and generative of the essential substance of pneumaplasm that connects them both with the Divine and with each other.  At this level of intimacy, where there is accord between a man and a woman, is found the secrets to the creation of abundance.  In The Gospel of Thomas, Jesus is recorded as saying: “If two can make peace between themselves in a single house, they can say to a mountain, ‘Move!’ and it will move.”

In no way do I imply here that she is nice and sweet and agreeable at all times.  She can be that, but she can also be fierce and tenacious when it comes to exposing and putting down the lie, which she does with equal passion as she pushes forward to uncover and lift up the truth in any given situation in life.  There is nothing quite as exhilarating in the life of a relationship than to dance in the fierce fire of the passionate woman who sees you in the places you would rather not be seen. In the Arthurian legend she is represented by the “Hag.”  Diana Durham portrays the “Hag” as:

An old woman who visits Perceval at Arthur’s court during a banquet in his honor; she lists all his faults, chief among them his failure to ask the question [Whom does the Grail serve?] when in the Grail Castle and thus relieve the king and land from suffering. She is the truth-telling aspect of the deep feminine, and can also be said to represent here withered Mother Earth herself. (Return of King Arthur, page 13)

There is interesting and controversial history associated with this principle of the Feminine aspect of Man, actually spanning all the way back to Adam and Eve in the drama of Eden at the very beginnings of human existence on earth. It is significant that the Feminine is described as a “Principle,”which literally means “beginning.” She was present with God in the Beginning.  In the Latin Mass, the opening words of St. John’s Gospel are: “In principio [my emphasis] erat Verbum, et Verbum erat apud Deus, et Verbum erat Deus.”  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The Word is the Feminine Principle out of which all of Creation springs forth.  She was called “Eve…mother of all the living…” and She is found not only to be with God in the beginning but is God.  She, the Divine Feminine, is God creating the flesh of all living things.

This ancient story, re-written by the great patriarch Moses, may well be fraught with bias.  It is said that the serpent beguiled the woman and that the woman led the man down the garden path which took them both out of Eden.  Who knows what really constituted the so-called “Fall of man?”  This we do know, women have been blamed for the Fall all down through the ages, a stigma that has caused them unwarranted deprivation and persecution. Women have been greatly feared and therefore suppressed by men in a male-dominated world.  Not understood by men, especially when their emotions take over their expression and their wrath becomes a force with which to be reckoned, women have been kept subdued by men and have been forced to withdraw into a state of obedience and subjection to them and to adopt what is considered to be “appropriate behavior” in order to keep emotions under raps.

On her darker side, woman has been a manipulator and a seducer as well, perhaps in an attempt to reclaim some of her power and control over her life. Historically, she was burned at the stake for her sorcery during the “witch-hunts” in sixteenth and seventeenth century Europe, when forty to sixty thousand people were executed and as many more tortured and imprisoned. This violence against the feminine has left a scar in the collective heart of womankind which overshadows and impacts male-female relationships even to this day.  Deep healing is needed in the heart of Mother God.

The world has not always been dominated by the male of the human species. There were periods of history when the feminine dominated life on this planet, when the Goddess was worshiped as Creator and revered as the Supreme Giver of life.  As I said earlier, in the ancient East, Elat, the feminine gender of the word Allah, was the name used to call upon deity.  In more recent history, however, since the male has dominated the scene, the importance of the role of the feminine in life has gone from one extreme to the other in some religious cultures.

There has been a masculine bias throughout the early history of Christianity, with the feminine principle all but eliminated entirely from the face of the Earth. For example, in the fourth century the early Church Fathers declared women to be “not worthy of life”—certainly not fit to serve as priestesses and bishops as they had been accustomed—and degraded the sexual act from the “ultimate sacrament” to a necessary function to propagate the human race. Before that, sex was a sacred ritual in which the alchemy of the Feminine Principle was engaged as a means of ecstatic union with the Divine.   The secrets of this ritualistic ceremony were held in safekeeping by many groups and organizations—such as the Freemasons, the Knights Templar, the Cathars, the Priory of Sion, the Essenes and the Egyptian cult of Isis and Osiris—until just recently.

Several books have been written and continue to emerge exploring these secrets.  Research-authors Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince have collaborated together in a most provocative book, The Templar Revelation. According to their exhaustive research, it was by way of this sacred sex ritual of “undefiled intercourse” that kings, emperors and pharaohs, as well as messiahs and saviors of mankind, fused with the Divine and became gods themselves, earning the title of Christ, or the Anointed One.

Jesus himself is reported to have become one with the Father within through the anointing by Mary of Bethany, his cosmic mate and partner in this sacred rite of passage, first from humanity to divinity and then back to humanity as God in the flesh.  This anointing was apparently not limited to pouring precious oils (spikenard) over the feet and into the hair, but included sacred sex wherein the two penetrated the veil between heaven and earth to fuse with the Divine.  Sex was called the “ultimate sacrament” because it was through this sacred ritual that sovereign rulers could come to know union with God and release the creative power that would bless and preserve their kingdom—the land and all their subjects—making them fertile and productive.

My next post will once again feature my favorite Arthurian legend author, Diana Durham, in her masterful consideration and interpretation of the legendary Holy Grail.  Until then, I bid you good day and pray health and happiness for you.          -Anthony (tpal70@gmail.com)

Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, pg 6: Grounding Masculine Energy

“He who is near me is near the fire.  He who is far from me is far from the kingdom of heaven.” —Jesus  (The Gospel of Thomas)

In my awakening years I had engaged the fiery dance between the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine and released the power of feminine energy through my very masculine body.  Back in the day this effulgence was known as “the outpouring of the Holy Spirit,” which I later learned is feminine in nature.  With spiritual awakening came an awareness that who and what I am is neither male nor female, but both.

I am an angelic being with masculine and feminine energies at my command for creative purposes.  Incarnate in this wonderful male physical form, I discovered that it is far too fragile in its fallen state to fully accommodate the fiery revelation of the angel.  So I’ve learned to turn down the fire in order to remain incarnate and useful while moving through transformation toward spiritual maturity.

My father’s generation was dominantly patriarchal. My generation’s role has been to provide a bridge for the next generation to cross over into a more balanced experience of these two powerful and complementary archetypal creative energies — which I opened up to full-throttle in my awakening years and nearly set my body aflame.  Those were destabilizing years of radical shift in self-awareness and identity.  I pray the upcoming generation survives to experience ascension to a higher level of being.  It has already undergone a transformation to a higher level of consciousness — and form follows consciousness.

From SACRED ANATOMY

GROUNDING HIS POWER

ONE OF THE CHARACTERISTICS of the Divine Masculine is his open-armed welcome of the Divine Feminine, because, after all, she is his natural dancing partner and the source of his empowerment.  He welcomes her also for the grounding she provides.

I recall an occasion in my own spiritual transformation when my physical form came into direct alignment with the radiant energy of my own angelic presence.  I had tapped into raw power and it was more than my outer form could handle.  At one point, I had difficulty staying on the ground. At night my body would burn with electrical currents running up and down my spine and legs.  My entire capacity felt as though it were on fire and I thought it would burst into flames at any moment. Then a presence was felt in the room like that of a woman.  I immediately felt at peace as the electrical currents subsided.

At another point in the same time period of several weeks, I felt I was simply going to ascend into another dimension while singing in front of a group of people gathered for a worship service.  Sound has a way of shifting cellular oscillation.  I felt guided to make eye contact with a woman in the gathering with whom I shared a spiritual intimacy and whom I loved with a love that was from a place beyond this world.  As I deliberately looked into her eyes, I immediately felt drawn back down to the floor and anchored to the ground.  Her presence was a grounding force for me.

These were the first of many lessons to come to me about the design of true function between the masculine and the feminine.  I had a new and deeper respect for womankind from that point on, although I had a lot more to learn about both the masculine and the feminine before beginning to understand the dynamics between these two co-creative energetic forces.

In our society, what Carl Jung called “the Anima” (a man’s feminine side) is often squelched.  The young boy who starts to cry, for instance, is told by his father to stop crying and “Be a man!”  To display his feminine side is to appear weak in the eyes of his peers. The truth be known, the feminine reinforces the authenticity of the masculine.   Moore and Gillette knew this all too well when they wrote their books exploring the male and female psyche.

But if a man consciously seeks to develop a relationship with his Anima at the same time he seeks a deeper accessing of his masculine characteristics, he will find his masculinity affirmed and supported.

By acknowledging his feminine side a man raises his consciousness about complementary masculine structures, and can be inspired to achieve fullness of being as a man.  As his sense of deeply grounded masculinity becomes more secure, he is free to claim his feminine qualities without fear of being overwhelmed by them.  His capacity for creative expression will multiply exponentially.  His relationships with women in the outer world will likewise take a positive turn.  Such a man, his masculinity reinforced by his inner feminine, can meet life with a centered sense of wholeness and compassion not often seen in our culture. (The King Within, page 121)

In a word, he becomes “sensitive” to the finer vibrational frequencies of the feminine energies emerging from within himself as well as those around him, including the world of Mother Nature.  Perhaps he would then respect her more fully and acknowledge the sanctity of her presence.  Surely he would stop raping her for her resources and stripping her of her lush and verdant beauty. When a man rapes a woman, I have learned, it is not for sexual pleasure but for power and control. When he rapes the natural world for her resources he does so because he can, he has the power to do it, and that gives him a warped sense of control over the wild kingdoms of this world, as though he must conquer them to know that he truly is all-powerful and resourceful. This is less a demonstration of real power and more an application of brute force. The control he refuses to apply to his own appetite for satisfaction and pleasure is projected away from himself and forced upon his world, which embodies all the essences of the Feminine.

The Dominating Masculine

Raw, ungrounded masculine energy, in men as well as women, develops into an unbalanced charge of power that seeks a channel for release, much as the electrical charge in a thunder-head cloud seeks to ground itself through a bolt of lightning.  It is corruptive when used to control the power inherent in the feminine in order to suppress it. Nowhere is such corruption more prevalent than in the social structures of modern civilization where women have been made to compete with men in a patriarchal society for equal opportunities for employment and equal pay, not to mention the historical suppression and continual deprivation of women in the Middle East and other parts of the world. Vestiges of this deprivation are yet to be found in today’s Christian religions, such as in the Roman Catholic Church where women are excluded from its priesthood and its priests deprived of the natural companionship of a wife.

There was also a reversal of the roles the male and female played in the ritualistic approach to worship of and union with God. Whereas before, even in the first three centuries of the Early Christian Era,  it was the priestess who provided the erotic alchemy through which men might commune and merge with God, now it is the priest who is believed to provide the liturgical alchemy that makes such communion with the divine possible for women.  Sex is left out of the picture altogether, with the exception of its limiting but necessary role in procreation.  It is as though the early Church Fathers of the first ecumenical council held at Nicaea in AD 325, were intent upon making the statement that union with God is only possible by way of the all-male priesthood and is not to be sought after through the erotic alchemy of the feminine priestess, whose sacred order was simply eliminated altogether with the priestess decreed a witch and burned at the stake. Men have long maintained control over women, but that is coming to an end as the corruption in this male-dominated culture continues to erode the patriarchal model of leadership by imposition and intimidation.  Love neither imposes nor intimidates.

This patriarchal treatment of women as second class citizens appears to have roots as far back as the early Christian era when pagan goddess temples were either converted into Christian churches or utterly destroyed. In ancient religions, God was known and worshiped in male and female as well as sexless deities. According to Houston Smith, in The World’s Religions, in Islam Allah was simply “the God,” neither masculine nor feminine.  In pre-Islamic times, Allah “was worshiped by Meccans not as the only God but as….creator, supreme provider, and determiner of human destiny.”

In the Kabbalistic tradition the name of God once included an entire family: Father, Mother, Son, Daughter (Yod He Vav He), a name which is supposedly coded in our DNA, also known as the Tetragrammaton which is the Greek name for the four sacred letters in the word Yahweh (YHWH). “From this holy ‘Name of Names’ emanates the Ultimate Divine Vibration.  It is the ‘word of light’ that becomes life” (Deborah Van Dyke, Traveling The Sacred Sound Current: Keys for Conscious Evolution).

In its most ancient of forms, dating back six or seven thousand years ago to the Canaanite language, Allah was Alat, or Elat, the feminine gender.  The concept of God embodied by the word Allah was based in its meaning, which is Sacred (or Cosmic) Unity.  “All of these names,” writes Scottish Aramaic scholar Neil Douglas-Klotz, “are based around the root el and al, which points toward the unity of existence, embodied in a name that idealized the sacred.”

In truth, the sacred is embodied when the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine are one and function together as partners in creation, symbolized in Hindu tradition as the lingam, “which is not exclusively a phallic symbol, as is often thought. Rather, it symbolizes the masculine and the feminine conjoined.” (Thomas Ashley-Ferrand,  Mantra – Sacred Words of Power).

The Egyptians, Greeks and Romans all worshiped gods and goddesses as equal partners in their lives and fate.  The God of Genesis is androgynous, creating Man male and female in our own image and likeness.  Interestingly enough, in the Judeo-Christian tradition, Wisdom (Sophia), who was present in the creation of this world, is a Goddess—or is at least seen as the feminine aspect of the androgynous deity—and the Holy Spirit is seen by some contemporary  Christian theologians as being the feminine aspect of God.  The Feminine Principle has also been acknowledged and accessed throughout the history of Christianity in the veneration of the Blessed Virgin Mary as an intercessor between Roman Catholics and the Lord Jesus.

The question might rightly be asked, as it has been by some, why is God worshiped today only as “He?”  Why should not God be known and worshiped in the feminine gender as “She?”   Is it not “She” who gives birth to “Him?”  Is not Mother God as divine as Father God and as responsible for the creation of this world?  There are cultures in the world that do still celebrate the Feminine Principle, although in by far the majority of religions in the world, women are subordinate to men and the feminine aspect of God is made to serve the will and pleasure of the masculine and often ignored or denied outright.  Women have had to demand to be heard and given equal rights alongside men. Today these cultural assumptions are all being challenged by the “liberated feminine” in men and women, who are both becoming acquainted with their whole Self.

Through all the tomes of spiritual writings, one instruction stands out above all the rest: “Man, know thyself and thou wilt know God.”  The Reality of God is known and understood to the degree that I know and understand myself, made male and female in the image and likeness of God.  Our approach to God, then, is rightly one of discovery of our authentic Self.  In our social, political and religious traditions we have been thoroughly dominated and led forth by an image of the masculine side of God, largely by a dark, intimidating image.  Is it not time for us to be generously immersed in a light, nurturing, understanding Goddess in partnership with a caring and benevolent Godhead?

In my next post, I examine the nature and function of the Divine Feminine.  As always, I welcome your thoughts on the subject of this post.  Until then,

Ne safe.   Be at peace.

Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, page 5: From Patriarchy to Partnership

Since the time I wrote SACRED ANATOMY 25 years ago, much has changrd in the area of relationships between men and women.  For example, the “war between the sexes” has transformed into a partnering paradigm as women have taken back their power and arisen to assume their rightful place as equals in co-creation alongside men — and men have rediscovered their nurturing feminine side. Actually, that transformation was already underway when I was writing my book.  Here’s an excerpt from the chapter entitled “Sacred Sex.”

From Patriarchy to Partnership

HUMAN CIVILIZTION today is dominated by the masculine energy of achieving, characterized as Martian by John Gray in his best-selling books on the theme of men being “from Mars” and women “from Venus.”  Our health care system, for example, has been based on fixing what is broken through manipulation of the laws of physics and chemistry on the physical plane by physicians and chemists. This differs from the more feminine role of facilitating the healing process, a spiritual or vibrational process, the nurturing approach of the healer who sees disease as a process to be assisted toward completion rather than aborted by intervention, only to surface again and again until it can complete itself—often in what is called “terminal illness” and ultimately in death.

The masculine in us generally wants the results of its efforts now. The feminine, on the other hand, is more accustomed to waiting patiently for the cycles of creation to work through and unfold in their natural seasons.  In a word, the masculine in us is more concerned with setting the agenda and promoting it so as to obtain the results it needs in order to feel “successful” and “productive,”  while the feminine is more concerned with processing feelings and thoughts that form the subconscious terrain which  resources the ultimate fruition of the creation in progress.  She is concerned, as we saw earlier, in making a home for being and family, and in creating a safe space for love to be shared in all its many facets and experiences.  In healing, she knows how to empower the person to take charge of his/her healing process and participate in it fully.  The wise masculine honors her natural capabilities in these areas.

In my office, the “doctor” has given way to the healer, who is the authentic Self.  He no longer prides himself in having an answer for every ill brought to him, nor thinks of himself as inadequate for not having one to give on the spot.  This transformation has introduced a bit of confusion among some patients who, understandably, expect precisely that kind of traditional “fix-me” passive care.  I have found that when I start out with “I don’t rightly know,” and say it audibly so that the patient can hear it, the innate wisdom of the patient’s body begins speaking with me. This kind of communication with the innate intelligence of the body-temple is at a vibrational level and is, for me, an experience of direct conversation with Source. What I do know, and share with the patient, is that as we both hold the dis-ease process in a nurturing atmosphere, one that is void of fears and impatience but filled with unconditional love, absolute assurance and complete acceptance, the right things to say and to do come to us in the quiet, unconcerned and worry-free atmosphere of spirit. “Be still and know” is Mother Nature’s guiding principle.

In a refreshing way, the Martian masculine, who is good at fixing things, is giving space to the Venusian feminine who seeks to rejoin the parts that have become disconnected, knowing that the currents of life, once again flowing through and between the parts, will bring about health in them—and, by reason of their vibrational alignment, will bring wholeness in the body-mind-spirit.  The person is made whole once the misaligned and disconnected parts are re-joined to one another, and that is the role of the feminine, the home and family builder.

The parts that need to be healed the most are the inner and outer aspects of the person, one’s spirit with one’s form. It is the healing of this fracture at the very core of one’s being that brings forth the healing current, what I have also referred to as the “attunement current,” from within with full force and penetration in the body tissues and organs. This constitutes the core essence of the attunement service Uranda brought through his ministry.

Speaking of attunement, those who work in the field of subtle energies find themselves in the presence of the Divine Feminine out of which the healing current arises. Working with spirit-substance for any period of time at all, one finds one’s masculine and feminine energies naturally and easily coming into balance with one another.

A colleague, friend and master practitioner-teacher in the attunement field, Paul Price, demonstrates such a balance in his healing ministry. Paul has worked in the attunement field for thirty-five years. He has an attunement center up in King City, Ontario, in a pastoral setting as part of a small farm, spiritual community and retreat center called “King View,” where he also offers classes in Attunement.  In a recent article Paul writes of his experience working with cancer patients over the past twenty years and some of the factors he has seen consistently arising in their consciousness. He writes:

Almost without exception, when I begin to work with clients and friends who have cancer, they ask, “What have I done wrong?” I also find that people who are on a spiritual path often express a sense of guilt and shame with respect to why they have cancer. There are many theories surrounding causes for cancer and I have looked into a number of them.  In some situations, they seem to fit. But I personally feel that there are complexities here in the larger energetic, or vibrational, field.

I have worked with children and young people who have had the perfect diet since birth, lived in a home where meditation and spiritual awareness were present from Day One, and a malignant melanoma appears.  I have worked with individuals who have lived an amazing spiritual life, and cancer seemingly beats them.  I have worked with others who could care less about anybody but themselves, and miracles have occurred for them. I have stopped trying to figure this out.

From an Attunement practitioner’s standpoint, it is important that we work in a complementary way with our clients, marrying our talents with traditional and other natural modalities.  I endeavor to nurture a sense of joy and passion for living in those I work with, reminding them that their spirit does not have cancer, and that no matter what modality they use, it is this joy and appreciation for life that allows their internal body chemistry to participate more fully in the healing process.

In this way I encourage them to participate in their own healing, challenging the attitude of relying solely on external factors.  Cancer, like all other diseases, is part of a larger vibrational pattern which we all need to work with. In order to work creatively with cancer, we as practitioners have to come to a place that doesn’t see “that person over there with cancer” and “I’m safe over here.”  It is a collective vibrational pattern which we all work with.  And although I am presently blessed with cancer not manifest in form in my body, it is in fact in the larger body of which I am a part.  My creative work with the fears and foibles surrounding this allows me to work from a clearer vibrational stance in my Attunement care.

Only as we all work together creatively with this will we actually begin to alter the vibration to a point where cancer can no longer exist. These days I do see more remission occurring, but still not what I would call a lot of miraculous changes.  I think those of us who work with these more intense situations need to know within our own hearts that we make a difference.  We often feel a sense of failure when the outcome in a situation is the passing away of the form.

I feel it is important that we not continue to add to the vibration of failure when, in fact, we have played a creative part in changing the vibration to a point where miracles actually do occur.  These miracles are a result of individuals holding sacred the work they have done in themselves, regardless of the seeming outcome.  If we can inspire in ourselves, and then in others, a sense of freedom in circumstance, rather than bondage to circumstance, we are contributing toward true healing. (Attunement Guild Newsletter, April 2004)

Paul’s words strike a resonant chord within the heart where these matters of spirit are understood at deeper levels.  The mind, by giving up its vain attempts to understand disease and figure things out, makes space available for the heart to have her own thoughts, the intuitive thoughts of spirit, to speak her truth and to articulate finer essences—along with encompassing the person while focusing the healing currents of love and compassion.  By honoring the feminine in healthcare, we take on the authentic role of a healer more fully.

Paul’s comments are addressed with his colleagues in the Attunement field in mind, but they apply to all of us physicians and practitioners of the healing arts, who work with peoples’ lives in our care for their bodies, and there is no way to avoid it.  Their bodies are inhabited by people, angels all, who come to us for assistance in healing their fractures—physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.  They are looking for much more than a quick fix for their pain, although they want that too.  Chronic pain takes its toll on the human nervous system.  While we’re helping relieve their pains with our masculine technology of science, we can lead them in the path of healing with our feminine technology of love, compassion and understanding.

This is the role of the feminine in us, and she is rising to take back her power and play that role alongside her masculine partner.  She does not want to take over his job, or to replace him.  “Alternative” healthcare is perhaps a misnomer in that the word itself implies “instead of.” The words “complementary” and “integrative” are perhaps more accurate—although there are many instances where natural healing modalities are being used instead of drugs and surgery.

The point I wish to focus here is that both can work together in the same arena without either the “fixer,” on the one hand, feeling threatened, or the “healer,” on the other, feeling she is more, or less, important. These two are already working together beautifully in many clinics and hospitals throughout America, as well as abroad. Alternative health care is coming into its own, and in many cases replacing some of the tools and methods of traditional medicine—and that is how it should work out in a society on the move toward real progress and growth.

I can envision a future where we live in a state of health rather than dis-ease, where our bodies do not break down and need fixing. The “fixer,” while still present and available for crisis intervention—and there is going to be a lot of that needed for quite some time—is being invited by life itself, the sheer power of spirit finding expression through fierce passion, to play a partnership role with the emerging feminine. She is not asking him to change what he is or what he does.  She is merely asking him to move over a bit and give her equal space alongside him to bring her gifts of healing—and they are many.

As I indicated, this is occurring throughout the Western world presently as alternative healthcare takes its place alongside mainstream medicine.  The unhealed human masculine, which is a substitute for the Divine Masculine, is decreasing in force and authority as the authentic Self in healthcare practitioners, both male and female, is emerging from within to take charge of stewarding the healing process, a service sorely needed in today’s world of radical and invasive drug-based disease management practices.

In my next post I will consider further the role of the Divine Feminine and the quality of being “sensitive” to the finer vibrational frequencies of the feminine energies. Blessings of peace and joy to you on this beautiful Easter weekend.
