Love Attracts Love

When the potentials of the opposites are too far removed from equality, then will union cease.—Walter Russell THE UNIVERSAL ONE

IN THE IMPLICATE ORDER OF HEAVEN, which is where we serve our Creator as functional co-creators, like attracts like. Love attracts love. In this electric negative triune world of creation, a positive electric charge of lower potential is attracted to a positive charge of greater positive preponderance in order to find its maximum potential and equilibrium.

According to The Universal Law of One, positives are attracted toward positives of a higher potential and fuse as the lower potential positive unit increases it’s potential and equalizes with the higher potential of the stronger positive. The two then become one as the lower potential positive is consumed by the higher.

This is not congruent with what we were taught in high school science. We were taught that a positive repels a positive and attracts a negative. We had bar magnets to demonstrate this axiom. Well, it ain’t so, according to Walter Russell, who demonstrates in THE UNIVERSAL ONE how a positive charge attracts positives and a negative discharge repels both positive and negative charges. Let’s apply this at a pragmatic level.

As humans beings, we seek a higher potential of awareness of who we are, of knowing the truth of ourSelves, our transcendent being, our greater divine Self. As our greater divine Self, radiant incarnate beings that we are, we are attracted toward beings of higher positive preponderance in order to fulfill our own maximum positive potential and equilibrium as human beings. This is why we are attracted to spiritual gurus and teachers — not to put positive potential into us but to draw it forth from within us. In a word, to realize our own potential.

This is also what draws human beings to religion. We seek an increase in our experience of Spirit, of spiritual power and awareness, of joy, of peace and happiness; ultimately in our connection with God, the Positive One of all positives. Religion doesn’t put power, joy, peace and happiness into our hearts. Being still and prayerful during an hour-long worship service provides the quiet conditions within us that allows these gifts of the Spirit to emerge from within us into our hearts, minds and body temples.

What we seek at a core level is life eternal . . . only to be told by our priest or preacher that we have to die in order to obtain it. This is, of courses, an untruth . . . and a deceptive redaction of sacred scripture, of the teaching of the Christ incarnate in Jesus: “The kingdom of heaven is within you and all around you.” Repent, turn around, and behold it! We can’t behold it unless we are aware of being in it ourselves, and rejoicing to be in it. We can come into a greater awareness of the Kingdom of Heaven in which we are now present — NOW, while we are incarnate. It only requires an elevation of our consciousness to a level above the animalistic physical realm to which human consciousness has fallen. We are not creatures. We are creators seeking our maximum potential of creative power and equilibrium with our Creator in order to be worthy co-creators with God. We are love attracted to Love.

In human relations, this principle is the dynamic of attraction at work between men and women, men and men, women and women. It’s the sex principle operating in and through all creating units in this creating Universe. Returning to the phrase at the top: When the potentials of the opposites are too far removed from equality, then will union cease.” The converse is implied: When the potentials of the opposites are equal, then union is possible and compelling. I will develop this further in my next post, as it’s a thought-process interrupting perspective.

RISE UP AND COME AWAY

I am reminded of a passage in Revelation (18:4) “Come out of her my people, and be not partakers of her iniquity.” This entire chapter and the one preceding it describe the world and the human state of today. I encourage you to read it, if only to increase your motivation to come completely out of the world . . . but only in your heart, your mind and particularly your consciousness. Not physically.

I am reminded of another more uplifting passage from the Song of Solomon. Enjoy it being sung by a choir as you read it.

“My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.” [Song of Solomon 2:10-13]

Here in the South our winter is just around the corner from Autumn now dawning. So why am I quoting Solomon’s Song of Songs that sings of winter as past? The winter I speak of is the “winter of our discontent,” as Shakespeare has Richard III bemoaning his plight. The human race is in the winter of its discontent over its self-created existential plight.

BEING MORE FULLY HERE AND NOW

While doing an internet search for the full biblical text of the Song of Solomon, I was pleasantly surprised to find this meditation by John Gray, a dear friend who himself is a light in the darkness for many who are drawn to his shining. I excerpted these closing thoughts of his meditation and will use it as grounding for this post:

Rise up. It is our consciousness that rises; our feet stay on the ground. Rising up doesn’t mean leaving; it means being more fully here. The beloved within speaks to “my love, my fair one”— to my mind and heart—and says, “rise up.” This same message is contained in words of the psalm, “Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up… and the King of glory shall come in.” [Psalm 24:7] The seat of experienced spiritual identity rises, is lifted up. Our understanding, symbolized by our feet, stays firmly on the ground and our awareness ascends to accommodate heaven. We stand and walk, upright. We are angels on earth.

In the rising up, our minds and hearts are cleansed, purified and restored. Response to the command rise up comes first; the making new of heart and mind occurs as a result of that. It is clearer to me than ever that purification is not a matter of dealing with the impure, trying to face it, to fight it, or to somehow scrub it out. No, that’s diving down where we don’t belong. There’s nothing to be gained and all to be lost by going into that bottomless pit. That’s the fall again.

Things come up to be seen and met in us all the time, for sure. But let’s let them come up to us. On their way up they’re cleansed and purified, or they’re cast out. Let the creative process do the sorting!  Let’s not be deceived into getting upset or doing battle with an adversary or thinking we have to fix things. That’s not what our hearts and minds are for; they’re not designed to be battlegrounds. Rise up and come away and stay away from all that, and be in the holy realm where all is already forever pure.

Then, behold I make all things new! Life is not difficult; it’s wondrous and truly magical. The God of peace is with us.

I think that I will leave you to ponder John’s words. I welcome your thoughts and insights. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

Transmutation Demystified, Part 5: Our Vortex Energy Field

OUR PHYSICAL BODIES, living temples that they are, live within a energy vortex field of swirling electric waves that flow counter-clockwise in an upward moving spiral that appears to be connected at an apex with an inverted torque-like energy vortex, in shape much like that of a tornado (See diagram below).

The Turkish Whirling Dervishes have a long-standing tradition that demonstrates this energy vortex dramatically. Here’s a bit of their history, including an entertaining video demonstration.

You’ve undoubtedly heard the term ‘whirling dervish’ before, but you may not be aware of the important cultural and spiritual tradition of these frenzied, spinning Turkish dancers. For outsiders, watching the Whirling Dervishes dance and spin is a breathtaking sight. For devoted members of the Mevlevi Order of Islam, however, the spinning has special significance.

A Frenzied Spinning

The best-known characteristic of a Whirling Dervish is the spinning dance called the Sema ceremony. The Dervishes wear all white long gowns with full skirts and tall hats. Seemingly tireless, the dancers can spin and whirl for hours at a time with their arms held up in the air. They assume this stance so that they are open to receive the blessings and energy from heaven. Each individual dervish spins from right to left using his own heart as a pivot point. Keeping time to the accompanying music, the dervish will rotate slowly at first, picking up speed as the music intensifies until the group of dervishes is all whirling in a fast-paced frenzy with their white gowns spinning.

Finding Sufism

The goal of the whirling or spinning is to achieve a state of Sufism. A form of Islamic mysticism, Sufism is a state of inner power and peace that allows the person to feel a deep love and connection to the rest of the world. Sufism is achieved through rituals and devote practices…one of those is dancing or spinning.

A Centuries-Old Tradition

Whirling Dervishes, as part of Sufism, is a custom that dates back more than 700 years. The Mevlevi Order of Islam was founded in 1312 in the city of Konya in Turkey. The Order was established by the devoted followers of Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, also known as Mevlana, who was a 13th-century Islamic mystic, theologian, and accomplished Persian poet. Under the leadership of Mevlana’s son, Sultan Walad, the Mevlevi Order quickly grew and spread into surrounding cities and towns . . . . (Underscores added. Click on the link for a bit of Rumi’s history.) History Daily

Now I’ve done whirling exercises from time to time and it’s not as easy as the Sufi make it look. I think the rhythm and cadence of their music helped facilitate the dance. If you try it, make sure you do it at the foot of your bed or your reclining chair so that you can flop down on your back while your brain and visual cortex stop spinning the room around you. It’s quite dizzying at first, however I’ve not yet learned how to turn off the dizzying after-effect, so I just fall back onto the bed. It’s a lot of fun, actually, and I do feel an uptake in my energy and improvement of my balance after a few moments. I’ve read that it actually turns your ageing clock back a bit. I encourage you to try it if you haven’t done so already.

The position of the hands is significant and purposeful. The right hands of the dancers are turned palms up to receive blessings and light from heaven above and their left hands are turned palms down to extend the blessings and light of heaven into the earth. And they seem to spin within a swirling energy vortex.

A subject of regression who had been regressed to a prior incarnation during the time of Jesus, described the atmosphere around him as a vortex of swirling light energy. This piqued my interest considerably, as I have experienced my own energy field as a sphere of light during an Attunement meditation that opened up to an ecstatic experience of levitation . . . accompanied by a rush of wind and an awesome vocalized sound that raised the frequency of my body’s cells.

Quite often during Attunement times I feel a lifting up of my physical body from my heart chakra, like a skyhook suspended from a point above my head was attached to my chest. If I’m lying down on a table, my chest often rises up. On one occasion during an attunement class, the student who was offering the attunement apparently thought he was doing something wrong, so he pulled his hands away and stopped sharing the attunement. I wished he hadn’t.

In Walter Russell’s signature work THE UNIVERSAL ONE—in which he challenges the scientific community with his own table of elements and his inspired concept of the inner workings or the Universe, as well as religion with his own cosmogony and “knowledge” of God’s Creative Powers—is this passage in his NEW LAWS AND PRINCIPLES chapter: (See graph below)

132. The nearer to the axis and to the apex of the cone the greater the density, temperature, pressure, potential, power-time and all effects of electro-positive preponderance. 133. The nearer to the base of the cone the greater the tenuity, the speed time and the tendency to ionize, and the lower the temperature, pressure, potential and all effects of electro-negative preponderance. (THE UNIVRSAL ONE, page 260)

AS BELOW SO ABOVE

In my previous post I stated this principle:

What manifests and takes shape in the explicate order under the heaven reflects Life’s design for forms in the implicate order of the heaven. There is only One Law governing the Creative Process: Radiation–Response–Attraction–Union–Unified Radiation. This law governs the electric universe at all levels, including and especially at the level where Man was created to live and function at the crossover point between Heaven and Earth as co-creator with God. The substance of connection between Man and Creator is the medium through which the Tone of the Word that creates Life on Earth is propagated so as to be perceptible by Man and re-sounded in the expression of his living. That medium is the rarified substance of pheumaplasm (spirit substance).

THE SILVER CHORD

Near-Death-Experiences (NDE’s) reportedly involve travel through a silvery tunnel toward a bright light that beckons the individual soul to rise up and come closer.

I gather there is some kind of levitating force, much like that produced by a magnet, which draws the soul up into another level of consciousness and being. From this elevated level, the person observes his or her body and those surrounding it from above, then has a telepathic conversation with another being or guide about whether or not it’s time for the soul to leave the physical realm. It’s all very interesting and intriguing to think about.

What piques my interest particularly is the source of the levitating power that draws the soul upward. In my inner Mind’s eye I envision two triangular vortices of energy that join at an apex or axis, as Russell states above and diagrams below, that have a place of manifestation and focus in our bodies. That focal point is situated in the Pineal Gland located in the Golden Mean Center of the brain.

Looking at the graphic below — which I borrowed from Russell’s book and adapted to my purpose here — in your mind’s eye superimpose an image of the body temple over the lower pyramidal graphic. Where the two spiraling vortices intersect one another, there is an area where the two opposing triangles join at their bases, one pointing up and the other pointing down. The one pointing upward, in my perspective analogy, comes to point in the Pineal Gland at the 7th level of the seven endocrine glands, which are paired with seven spinning chakra vortices. (Click on image to enlarge it)

ENDOCRINE GLANDS

7 Pineal

6 Pituitary & 5 Thyroid

4 Thymus-Heart

3 Pancreas & 2 Adrenals

1 Gonads

“MASS IS ACCUMULATED AROUND A VORTEX . . . FORMED BY THE CONTRACTION OF THE AXES OF TWO OPPOSSING CONES OF ENERGY. THE GREATER THE CONTRACTION THE GREATER THE ACCELERATION OF MOTION WITHIN THE VORTEX”

Counting down from the Pineal gland, we come to the Pituitary gland at the 6th level, and below the pituitary lies the Thyroid gland in the neck. These three energy centers form an upright triangle with the Pineal focusing the Spirit of Love at the apex and the Pituitary and Thyroid glands at the two corner of the base, focusing respectively the Spirit of Truth, and the Spirit of Life.

The lower inverted triangle encompasses the Heart with the Thymus gland focusing the Spirit of Purification at the lower apex—a fiery frequency of the Spirit of Love stepped down four levels. This is the Spirit, or vibration, currently stirring in the hearts of every person on earth, incinerating what doesn’t belong in this holy place designed as a crucible for Love’s purifying and transforming fire. As my friend Chris Jorgensen described this pivotal point in my previous post:

The crossover point is the sacred place where the Radiation of Being is consciously known and shared. It is the point where Love is made visible. It is Assurance in divine Presence. The current vibration of the world is the Spirit of Purification, the crossover point—the energy, frequency and radiation of the Heart-Thymus. It is a singular point where Heaven and Earth meet.

Reference: https://attunementpractitioners.org/2022/10/07/attunement-from-the-crossover-point/

I took note of the way the Whirling Dervishes use their own hearts as pivot points around which to whirl—a significant posture to assume seeing as the heart is the true center of gravity in our sacred energy anatomy.

Below the level of the Heart center and Thymus gland are three glands in the body that manage hormonal chemistry throughout the body temple—just as the upper three glands administer the hormonal alchemy of incarnation and the ongoing conception and generation of Life in the sanctuary of the temple. The Pancreas at the 3rd level which facilitates emotional and spiritual expression and the realization of manifestation; the two Adrenal glands at the 2nd level that empower physical action and mental focus; and the Gonadal glands at the 1st level where the Spirit of the New Earth patiently fostering a sense of right expectancy. Beyond the 1st level in one’s extended world of creativity.

Based on what Russell cited above in his two principles, the higher one’s consciousness rises to the apex at the crossover point, the denser the plasma that comprises the silvery substance of the chord connecting the person with the Realms of Light, and the greater is the pressure and temperature.

THE PRESENCE OF THE ONE

I am reminded of a passage in the Old Testament that speaks of the fiery furnace being heated seven times hotter than it was wont to be heated in order to incinerate Daniel’s three friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego—which proved to be the right temperature to burn the shackles that bound them without burning the three friends. But greater than that was the 4th Presence seen by King Nebuchadnezzar of “one like unto the Son of Man.”

This is the Spirit of the One that dwells in the midst, the Spirit of Angelic and Archangelic Presence that cannot be touched by the fire of purification for that Spirit is Love, the very fire itself. Nor can the dense plasma of consciousness rising to the apex be touched or penetrated by what is occurring of a violent and destructive nature in the outer world. It can, however, be touched and penetrated, consumed and transmuted, by the high frequency of Love radiating from the One in the midst. What can ascend ascends, and what cannot ascend falls back down toward the less dense lower levels toward the base to participate further in the ascending cycles of the ongoing Creative Process.

“Who shall ascend unto the hill of the Lord? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.”

I will continue in this vein in my next post. As always, I welcome your thoughts on what I have presented. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

New Jerusalem: City of Peace

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase ‘each other’
doesn’t make any sense.

THIS POEM BY THIRTEETH CENTURY SUFI MYSTIC and great Persian poet, Jalāl ad-Dīn Muḥammad Rumi, has been circulating for several years.  I’ve given it consideration over the past several months and have come to see and experience this “field” of Rumi’s not so much as a place to go as a place one cannot leave.  It’s the eternal here and now.  It’s where I live and have my being. The Master Jesus called it “the Kingdom of Heaven.” In Genesis it’s called Eden, a garden state, indicating a realm where seeds of intention are planted, nurtured and germinate.  David Bohm calls it the “implicate order” of vibrational essences and patterns for manifesting forms in the “explicate order.” Episcopal priest and mystical author Cynthia Bourgeault describes this field as the “imaginal realm.” In a word, Rumi’s “field” is at the Center of my turning world were I AM known.  A place of absolute silence and tranquility where “nothing is wrong; everything matters,” to borrow a wise saw from a friend.

A NEW JERUSALEM

While in an elevated Field of the Spirit, John of Revelation had a vision which he describes as a “new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven.”

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away, and there was no more sea.  And I John saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  (Rev 21:1)

Recently I heard this field of Rumi’s described as the realm of the “Source Code” where the patterns of creation for the “new Jerusalem” are held and made available for downloading, to use a tech term, into human consciousness.  I resonate with this perspective . . . up to the point of interpretation.

This is a field, as Rumi described, where judgement of right and wrong is utterly non-existent.  Where the design for the New Earth, the new Jerusalem, is held inviolate and out of sight of the judgmental human mind.  The old Jerusalem doesn’t qualify for inclusion in Rumi’s field, burdened as it is with the “Law of Moses” and a slew of Old Testament laws detailing all the “wrongdoings and rightdoings” for the Jewish people.

The design for the new Jerusalem comes down from God out of Heaven into the pure and peaceful heart where it can be nurtured and protected.  This relates to what is occurring NOW everywhere, and not to any particular sect or religion, such as the Jews, Muslims or Christians, all three of which occupy the old Jerusalem, the “Holy City.”  They’ve all been given their opportunities and failed utterly to show people the Way by which they may enter the kingdom of heaven now without having to die in order to go there . . . they themselves failed to enter in.

This is in no way intended to be anti-Semitic, anti-Christian or anti-Muslim.  It’s just what is and has been all down through the ages.  I have nothing against the Jews, the Muslims, or the Christians.  My discomfort lies in the interpretation of the passage in Revelation in which John sees in a vision “the new Jerusalem” coming down from God out of heaven.  To explore and uncover what’s warranting my discomfort, I have given a lot of meditative time to the meaning of the world “Jerusalem” itself.

JERUSALEM, MELCHIZEDEK AND SHEM

Jerusalem. A holy city for Jews, Christians, and Muslims; the capital of the ancient kingdom of Judah and of the modern state of Israel. The name means “city of peace.” Jerusalem is often called Zion; Mount Zion is the hill on which the fortress of the city was built.  (Wikipedia)

The word Salem means peaceful and complete.  It was the “Holy City” in ancient Hebrew history where the temple of Jerusalem was located, and where “Melchizedek” reigned as High Priest and “King of righteousness.” For Christians, Jerusalem is also the place where Jesus preached, died and was resurrected. Many also see the city as central to an imminent Second Coming of Jesus. Jerusalem is now a major pilgrimage site for Christians from around the world.  For Muslims, Jerusalem is a site of key events in the life of Jesus and other important figures. It’s also the spot where, according to traditional interpretations of the Koran and other texts, the prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. Mohammed was carried from Mecca to Jerusalem, and then from Jerusalem into the heavens, where he conversed with prophets before returning to earth. For more than 1,300 years, there have been Muslim shrines in Jerusalem. (Washington Post)

A SHIFT OF THE PRIESTHOOD

There was a shift from the Levite priesthood of Abraham’s day to the priesthood of Melchizedek, the title “Priest of the Most High God” that Shem inherited from Noah, his father.  Here’s a bit of history about this shift:

Psalm 110, in referring to a future messiah of the Davidic line, alludes to the priest-king Melchizedek as a prototype of this messiah. This allusion led the author of the Letter to the Hebrews in the New Testament to translate the name Melchizedek as “king of righteousness” and Salem as “peace” so that Melchizedek is made to foreshadow Christ, stated to be the true king of righteousness and peace (Hebrews 7:2). According to the analogy, just as Abraham, the ancestor of the Levites, paid a tithe to Melchizedek and was therefore his inferior, so the Melchizedek-like priesthood of Christ is superior to that of the Levites. Furthermore, just as the Old Testament assigns no birth or death date to Melchizedek, so is the priesthood of Christ eternal.  (Wikipedia)

ORIGIN AND HISTORY OF THE PRIESTHOOD

After the “Fall” when man lost conscious awareness of the Garden State in which he was created in God’s image and likeness, and the Presence of the Creator in the Garden, there arose a need for an intercessor, a go-between, to represent and speak for God in man’s fallen state.  The priesthood was that intercessor between God and man and between man and his Creator.  Adam was the first “Priest of the Most High God.” The priesthood came down through Adam’s lineage and was passed on to Noah, whose eldest son Shem (or Melchizedek) was High Priest in the temple at Salem.  Shem and Melchizedek may be one and the same, as Melchizedek is thought not to be the name of an individual but rather a “High Order” of the priesthood; a title given to the “Priest of the Most High God,” or simply High Priest.

Shem inherited the land of Salem and Melchizedek [Shem] is the king of Salem.  Shem reigned in righteousness (Melchizedek’s name means King of Righteousness), and the priesthood came through him. If Shem is indeed Melchizedek, the name is then used as a title, not an actual name. This title would seem to fit the biblical account of the Godliness and righteousness ascribed to Shem.  Shem, Noah’s Son that was still alive at the time of Abraham and that would make him the oldest man alive qualifying him as a candidate for the order of Melchizedek

Melchizedek, also spelled  Melchisedech, in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), a figure of importance in biblical tradition because he was both king and [high] priest, was connected with Jerusalem, and was revered by Abraham, who paid a tithe to him. He appears as a person only in an interpolated vignette (Genesis 14:18–20) of the story of Abraham rescuing his kidnapped nephew, Lot, by defeating a coalition of Mesopotamian kings under Chedorlaomer.

In the episode, Melchizedek [Shem] meets Abraham on his return from battle, gives him bread and wine (which has been interpreted by some Christian scholars as a precursor of the Eucharist, so that Melchizedek’s name entered the canon of the Roman mass), and blesses Abraham in the name of “God Most High” (in Hebrew El ʿElyon).  In return, Abraham gives him a tithe of the booty.  (https://www.britannica.com/biography/Melchizedek)

THE OLD ORDER HAS PASSED AWAY

Another translation of the phrase “for the former things are passed away” is “for the old order of things has passed away.”  The old order of the Levite priesthood has passed away and the new priesthood, according to the order of Melchizedek, characterized by the sharing of communion with bread and wine, had been established on earth by the Lord of Love himself during the “Last Supper” with his disciples before his crucifixion.  His one and only message in the form of a commandment was that we love the Lord our God with all, and that we love our neighbor as ourselves.  Another way he phrased his commandment was “That ye love one another as I have loved you.” He did not establish a religion with a plethora of laws.  In fact he cautioned against making any more laws than the ones he had given, lest they keep one from doing the right and fitting thing in the circumstance at hand.  The Jewish religion, of course, rejects Jesus altogether as the promised messiah, which means it also rejects the entire New Testament of the Bible, including John’s Book of Revelation . . . so the point of this blog post carries little weight if any for anyone who embraces the beliefs, and denials, of Judaism.  This denial does not dismiss the truth that the old order of things in heaven and on earth pass away to give room for the new order.

CITY OF PEACE

The “new Jerusalem” is none other that the New Earth now being born from out of the New Heaven, and it is designed by God to be a “City of Peace.”  We have entered a new Golden Age wherein peace and love will abide and flourish in the hearts of human beings and spill over into the world — and there will be no need for an intervening priesthood as the conscious awareness of God’s presence within every man and woman will be restored and man will awaken to the realization that he has direct access to God within himself.  This awakening is already happening.

Those who insist on holding onto the belief that the new Jerusalem is to be an earthly city or nation governed by a religious sect are not in position to see the City of Peace in the Heaven and therefore exclude themselves from participating in the birthing process of the “new Jerusalem.” Contention and war are not possible in this City of Peace, neither is isolation, superiority, entitlement and exclusion of others.

Our Home among the stars

“THE HEAVEN OF THS EARTH IS A CITY IN A STAR”

The City of Peace is the Garden of Eden remembered once again by Man restored.  It’s a “CITY IN A STAR” as my spiritual mentor, the late Martin Exeter, describes here below. Here is an expanded perspective of the Garden of Eden from an cosmic point of view:

The Garden is so close that we cannot in fact get out of it, and yet we don’t know it is there. We don’t know it is there because there is this veil, or I suppose it might be called a transformer, in between, which steps down the Garden Radiation to something that human beings can stand in their murky state. And it is because of this that they have continued to exist and that the potential for a return to the true state has been present. It is present because life is still in the carcass of mankind. I suppose if one were to use one’s imagination a little one might recognize that the heaven of this earth is a City in the Star. It was called the Holy City, wasn’t it, coming down from God out of heaven to take form. We may have a view of something rather vast, at least from the standpoint of human proportions: a mighty star which is composed of heaven and earth. It is all one thing. In the United States there are many cities but it is still one nation. In this star there are many cities but it is still One Star, something whole. Of course that is not the end of the wholeness either, as far as that is concerned, but it is about as far as we need to go this evening, I think.    (The Great Cosmic Story  To enjoy this entire enlightening consideration, simply click on the link)

This City is poised to fully manifest on Earth, and it will be painful for those who resist the purification of their hearts in the fire of Love that is already burning in the hearts of men and women the world over.  It will be cause for rejoicing for those who dwell in heaven.  The “sign of the Son of Man” already appears in the clouds of heaven, in the consciousness of Man now being restored.  Look not down to see where the new Jerusalem might appear, nor where one may believe it will appear, nor where Jesus might return.  Look up into the clouds of consciousness and see and welcome the City of Peace already descending.

Angels are uncloaking their radiant beings and apocalyptic light is shining in the dark shadows of Eden.  Rumi’s “field”— the kingdom of heaven — the new Jerusalem — the City of Peace — the City in our Star — are all at hand within and all around us.  The pure of heart see God in the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth.  Let not your heart be troubled. Let it be purified in the fire of Love — love for the Lord our God and love for one another.  Be at peace.  This is what is at hand. . . and shall be henceforth.

Thank you for sharing my meditations and thoughts.  Feel free to share yours in the comment section or by email.  Until my next post,

Steps of Ascent 4: How much can we bear?

Blessed is one who existed before coming into being…. You are pleased when you see your own likeness.  When you see your images that came into being before you did, immortal and invisible images, how much can you bear?  — Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas¹

♦◊♦

READING THROUGH the first two chapters of the Book of Genesis in the Bible, one cannot help but notice that there are two different incidences that speak of the creation of man.  The first one is in the 26th verse of the first chapter of Genesis:

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after out likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”

This may be taken as the creation of Spiritual Man, made in the image and likeness of the Creator.  The second incident, as recorded in the second chapter of Genesis, relates to the creation of Adam, physical man, by the LORD God:

“…and there was not a man to till the ground….  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed . . .to dress it and to keep it.”

THE “LORD God”

Who is this “LORD God” that appears on the scene?  In her legacy work, THE BOOK OF GRACE, biblical scholar and spiritual author Grace Van Duzen goes to some length to elucidate:

A new name is introduced here: the LORD God. The capitalization in such case conveys plurality,  a focus of beings, whereas the use (later) of Lord indicates divine presence in a single being.

Rev. Scofield, in his Authorized King James Reference Bible, says:

The primary meaning of the name LORD (Jehovah) is the self-existent One.” Literally (as in Ex. 3.14), “He that is who He is, therefore the eternal I AM.” But Havah, from which Jehovah, or Yahwe, is formed, signifies also “to become,” that is, to become known, thus pointing to a continuous and increasing self-revelation. Combining these meanings of Havah, we arrive at the meaning of the name Jehovah. He is “the self existent One who reveals Himself . . . .”

It is significant that the first appearance of the name Jehovah in Scripture follows the creation of man. It was God (Elohim) who said, “Let us make man in our image”. . . but when man, as in the second chapter of Genesis, is to fill the scene and become dominant over creation, it is the LORD God (Jehovah Elohim) who acts. This clearly indicates a special relation of Deity, in His Jehovah character, to man, and all Scripture emphasizes this.

The name Lord, or Jehovah, is introduced immediately after the completion of the six-day cycle of Creation which was crowned with the presence of Man, the means whereby God could “live and move and have his being” on this planet in conscious expression. That is the purpose of man, to reveal God through the indwelling presence in himself — not as a stereotyped, preordained blueprint but to allow, moment by moment in living, a New Heaven and a New Earth to take form.

Herein is the secret of God’s “rest” [on the seventh day], the state of being which became possible as human beings remained in harmony with the Creator, the Law which operates the universe.  Man was not created an automaton, without free will; that would not be an image and likeness of the Creator. On the contrary, all the wonder and diversity of the cosmos was available to be given form on Earth according to the capacities of this new creation, and on the Seventh Day that provision was in place. It was, moreover, a cycle when a “proving” was necessary to complete the creation.

I think we’re still in the proving stage, and not faring too well in it.

WE REALLY DON’T HAVE A CLUE

Now, I find all this most intriguing, as others have as well.  Quite frankly, no one really knows what occurred back then.  Some have even speculated that superior beings from outer space came to earth and seeded the human race in various and different locations as genetic experiments, each genetically different with unique physical characteristics, cultures and languages, perhaps to see if they would find a way to meld together as one global human race — a scenario to which I could easily ascribe watching travelogue programs that take you all over the globe to visit the colorful array of nationalities and life styles that exist in near isolation from one another except for media technology and air travel.

(Watching the spectacular and inspiring 2020 Winter Olympics high-tech opening ceremony in Tokyo, and hearing John Lennon’s “Imagine” sung so passionately by everyone, including John Legend and a couple of other popular vocalists, the world is “as one” for these young athletes from different nations.  I was deeply touched. This upcoming generation just may pull it off — peace and harmony, that is.)

REMEMBERING OUR PAST LEST WE REPEAT IT

There has been for some time a question concerning the two different stories in Genesis relating to the creation of Man which suggests rogue behavior on the part of one or more of the creator beings comprising the Elohim conclave.  I’ve given this considerable thought and meditation, and I resonate more with Grace Van Duzen’s view of the creation story than with the rogue scenario.  Whether critical or speculative inquiry, the fact is that if there’s been any rogue behavior on this planet, it’s been on the part of man himself — and it is precisely this rogue behavior by us that needs to cease before Eden can be restored, along with our partnership with God as co-creators of living forms on Earth . . . according to Divine Design and not human designs.

Let us not fool ourselves by thinking our past errant ways are gone and forgotten, because this rogue behavior is still going on everywhere on the face of the earth, notably in laboratories where medical scientists tamper and experiment with the genetic code of the double helix DNA and its partner RNA which contain and deliver respectively Life’s instructions for creating and assembling the building blocks of physical matter.

WE’VE OPENED PANDORA’S BOX . . . INTENTIONALLY—FATHER FORGIVE US FOR WE KNOW NOT WHAT WE DO

It all sounds so ingenious and commendable . . . until an experiment gets out of hand and a man-made virus, genetically coded to be more virulent and aggressive by a method called “Gain of Function” (GOF) — for the purpose of developing an appropriate vaccine in the event of a pandemic — is reportedly released accidentally in order to create a global pandemic.  As I understand it, this dangerous research was shut down here in America only to be transferred to a lab in Wuhan by leading medical scientists in the USA, as well as funded.  (Here’s the stunning LATEST DISCLOSURE on the origin of the virus.  Scroll down to read the Story at a Glance, although the video is well worth watching.)

How much disclosure such as this can we bear before we wake up?!  How much risk are we fool enough to take until we learn that we cannot partake of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil — or evolve, as is the case with the genetic code of the DNA spiral and escape the death-dealing consequence?  The DNA molecule is created by Life and belongs to Life, and we have no business tinkering with it.  We do so at our peril, as it is proving out.

A RESTORATIVE PROCESS IS UNDERWAY

There is a restorative process underway, and has been in progress ever since the Fall, to bring us back into alignment with the Great Spirit Creator and into the garden state.  At least two attempts have been made, the first of which was through Abraham and his immediate lineage that brought forth the nation of Israel and Moses, who led the children of Israel out of bondage in Egypt and to the “Promised Land” flowing with milk and honey.  But that was as far as human beings at the time moved with that cycle.

The cycle of movement through the physical plane was brought to a point of completion, and failure, with King Solomon, who let his success and empirical power, along with his collection of feminine royalty, consume him.  This level is the domain of the Spirit of the New Earth, and there was great expectancy on the part of the tribes of Israel, for example, to come to a new land flowing with milk and honey, an expectancy that was realized after forty years of rebellion and consequent hardship in the wilderness.

Throughout the Old Testament there is an expectancy of the “coming of a Messiah.” This attempt from the level of the physical plane failed to restore humanity back to God and closed with a promise of a Messiah who would come and restore the kingdom of heaven on earth. But it would not be an earthly kingdom.  It would be a heavenly kingdom that resides within each one, indicating that the garden state is first a spiritual reality based on spiritual consciousness and only secondly, and consequentially, an earthly experience of Paradise.

A restoration in human consciousness, then, is what is underway — and it began with the incarnation of the Lord of Love 2000+ years ago in the Middle East — which today has become a hotbed of religious wars and human suffering.  The sacred fire of Love is at work through the Spirit of Purification cleansing the body of humanity of hatred, greed and fear, along with a host of other demons . . . and not just in the Middle East.

How much more of this cleansing can we bear?  How much of our past can we bear to remember, forgive and move on from.  More pertinent to the Master’s words above: How much of the radiance of our own Being, the “immortal and invisible” image of God revealed through us on Earth, can we bear?  How much peace and joy and happiness?  How much truth can we bear?  How much are we willing and ready to let go of our beliefs, our concepts and opinions, move beyond them, in order to come to the place of knowing and living the truth of life that is love; love of God and of one another?  Oneness with the All that Is?

The Master told his disciples I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.”  Can we bear them today?  The Holy Spirit, the promised Comforter, is coming now upon the clouds of human consciousness and is bringing to remembrance all the things the Master Jesus said and taught his disciples when he was on earth.  Authors and spiritual teachers abound repeating almost verbatim his gospel of love, of compassion, of forgiveness and of thankfulness.

Listen! The Comforter speaks in our hearts to our minds: “Be still and know that I AM , , , , and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Steps of Ascent 5: The Way of the Master

“I have thrown fire on the world. Look! I watch it until it blazes.” —Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas

◊♦◊

IN MY PREVIOUS POST I spoke of a restoration process underway since the Fall, so far made in two approaches.  The first one was initiated with Abraham and the nation of Israel. The second approach, from the physical plane as was the first, was initiated with King Solomon.  Both failed to bring mankind back into the Garden state and alignment with the governance of the Kingdom of Heaven.

The third and forth approaches were from the mental and spiritual planes respectively and was initiated by the Master Jesus Christ, the incarnate Lord of Love.  Both of these approaches failed as well due to the hardness of men’s hearts and failure to comprehend his dual command to love the Lord God above all and one’s neighbor as oneself, which embodies the essence of his life and teachings.

This post is about the third approach which led to a fourth for him personally, opening the Way to restoration and ascension for all of mankind.  The following is from my book SACRED ANATOMY.

◊♦◊

The Way of the Master

There was a Man sent from God—an incarnate God Being—who returned to Heaven with his human capacities restored to their glorified state.  His name was Jesus and he was called “Master” by those who loved and followed him closely.

Putting these cycles of restoration in a certain perspective, Uranda called them “Sacred Schools” in that they were periods of spiritual education, a time when human beings were taught by great spirits and masters how to function spiritually in each level of ascent as the restoration continued to unfold. Jesus initiated the second cycle, at the level of the mental plane, and opened the door to the third, the level of the expression of Spirit, with his two Great Commandments of Love. But those to whom he brought the Way back into the “kingdom of heaven” either didn’t comprehend him or rejected him out of hand and sought to erase him from the face of the Earth by destroying his personal temple.  This time it was men who failed to defeat the Divine Design for restoration, as it was beyond their reach.

Jesus dealt with human consciousness from the “mental plane approach.” He offered tranquility, a quality of the Spirit of the Single Eye in the second plane of being, to minds frantically busy with the letter of the law and the prophets.  “Peace, be still,” were words he often spoke before preaching and ministering to his disciples. He took issue with the Scribes and Pharisees, for example, which he blatantly characterized as “hypocrites” and “whited sepulchers full of dead men’s bones” for  the way they allowed the letter of the law to overshadow the “spirit that giveth life.”

He came to fulfill the law and the prophets, not to impose them upon the faithful in order to “lord it over them.” Above all, he met and dealt forthrightly and in singleness of purpose with his own human mind and restored order and beauty to his house of Being.  “Get thee behind me, Satan” were his words of rebuke more than once to his own human mind and through it to the collective mind in the larger body of mankind.

He brought one law, the law of love, to replace the many laws that were on the books and enforced in order to keep the people subdued and under control. That law was stated as two Great Commandments: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all of thy heart and all of thy mind and with all of thy strength,” and “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

In giving this one law of love, He began opening the third level of consciousness and plane of being, the spiritual-expression plane approach, which is made from the level of the heart.  It is simply the expression of the spirit of God in living, which brings a realization of the presence of God in one’s temple and an outpouring of blessing into one’s world.  We have seen how this level is the domain of the Spirit of Blessing.

“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God,” He taught, and in so teaching began to open the way leading up into the fourth level of consciousness, which is the plane of being connecting heaven and earth and the level of awareness of divine identity. The Spirit of Purification reins here to bring clarity to the heaven.

In order to enter this level of consciousness, where one knows with assurance one’s own divine presence in the world, the heart must be purified by the continual and consistent outpouring of the Holy Spirit of Love.  It is the only way—and the Master Jesus went that way, even though no one at the time was willing to go with Him.  “I am the way, the truth and the life,” He proclaimed and then proceeded to exemplify for all who had ears to hear and eyes to see.

Here was the Lord of Love himself incarnate on earth attempting to gather human beings back under his wings, “as a hen with her brood,” but they “would not.”  The gospels say Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem.  It was not for himself that he wept but for what he saw human beings were doing to themselves.  He came to initiate the process by which human beings could come out of the state of dying souls and back into the state of original innocence as living souls, only he was met by all sorts of resistance and considerable opposition.

When it became apparent to him that he was not going to be allowed to initiate that process for the whole body of mankind through His personal hedge of followers, he accepted the responsibility himself of ascending to the third and fourth planes of being.  But he did not stop here.  There had already been too much failure in the past.  He went all the way through the remaining three levels of being: the fifth which is that of radiance under the domain of the Spirit of Life, the sixth which is that of wisdom under the domain of the Spirit of Truth, or the Womb, and finally the seventh, the dwelling place of the Spirit of Love, with his transfiguration, resurrection and ascension into heaven.

He stepped from earth back into heaven from whence he had come—and from whence we all have come—giving the simple and apparently achievable instruction to simply follow him: “He that believes in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)

Going unto the Father is the first step and the last that leads to union with God and glorious transfiguration.  He established agreement on earth with His Father in heaven, and where two agree on earth as touching anything “in my name” (in the vibration of love), it shall be done of them by the Father in heaven.  He was able to step, body, soul and spirit, back into the realms of light by reason of the working of this law of love, and the process of ascension manifested in His humanity.

Each one of these steps of ascent, from one level of consciousness to the next, manifested changes in his outer form.  They each had their impact on Him physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Throughout this process he experienced amazing feats of all sorts: levitation, transfiguration, command of the wind, mental telepathy, long distance healing power,  a potently radiant and highly charged personal atmosphere that when but touched by those around him in faith, wrought healing, power to raise the dead, and many other miracles of transformation. The greatest transformation was that of his own consciousness to the clear, absolute realization that “I and my Father are one.”   He attained to the vibration of the Father, who is love, as he himself had long since earned the title of “Lord of Love.”

Probably the toughest of all the outer manifestations of change to move through was his betrayal and subsequent crucifixion. Yet move through it he did, maintaining His connection with his Father and thereby maintaining the continuity of the cycle he had initiated which took him step by step back into the Realms of Light from whence he had come.  He surely saw that experience as a door through which he had to pass in order to go the Way he had chosen. Death with its seeming finality was to him but the shadow side of eternal life itself, and not just for his spirit but for his own body temple as well.

The door that leads into the light is always hidden in the shadow, because it is closed.  He opened that door and found resurrection and ascension on the other side, and he opened it with unconditional love for and forgiveness of those who had put him on the cross.  His heart was utterly purified in the fire of love he shared with his Heavenly Father, and which he sought unceasingly to share with his disciples and the world which his Father so loved and had sent him to save.  His outer form was transformed by the Spirit of Purification as He moved through the fourth plane of being on his way up in the ascension process.  Indeed, he became the Spirit of Purification himself at the fourth level of being, the crossover point between spirit and form, and burned his way through the thick veil of the impure heart of humanity.

In a service entitled “The Way of the Master,” Martin Cecil describes these events in a remarkably clear and thought-provoking presentation.  He refers to a “tone” sounded:

What a task!  What an unbelievable undertaking, and yet He did it, in spite of everything . . .   He established what we have called the true tone of life for man, an actual vibratory radiation that has been sounding on earth all down the centuries . . . .  It was set of course not by a man as such but by the Lord through a man.  That trumpet tone has been sounding without diminishing for nineteen centuries . . . .

When He did proceed through the creative cycle in His own personal experience on earth He did what He might to assist those who were present with Him to come along into an experience of greater understanding, but they didn’t get very far.  You may recall, in the Gospel of John, Philip and Thomas, two of the disciples, had no faintest idea as to what it was that our Master was talking about.  He’d been speaking: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.”  And He said, “I go to prepare a place for you.”  That’s the way He was going, moving through these successive levels of consciousness in the creative cycle, the ascending cycle, thereby preparing the way.  Nobody was going with Him at that time.  The disciples were completely at sea. They enjoyed being with Him, they loved Him, but they didn’t know what was happening and apparently no one has known since. Some beliefs have been generated, some ideas have been produced, and there may have been a little truth back of some of these things. But only now, when it begins to surface and come within the range of present human experience, does it once more become meaningful.  It becomes meaningful to the extent that it is experienced; not to the extent that it is thought about or discussed, or to the extent that doctrines are established; it means something only on the basis of actual experience.  So because there begins to be some actual experience it begins to be meaningful . . . .  (Excerpted from Third Sacred School, Vol. 2, Chapter 28)

It is the experience that this One Divine Man undertook himself that has established what the body of mankind is to experience and has experienced since he set this tone and sounded it all the way through the seven levels of being as he ascended with his body temple restored to its glorified state.  This is the path that all of mankind has been invited to take and that we each must travel if we are to experience fully the salvation which he brought, the path leading well beyond worship of God to resurrection and ascension in sacred union with God.  Until the reality of such union is actually known, man shall continue his search for Eden outside himself and worship God at the foot of altars made of wood and stone — but not for long. ♦

The purpose of restoration relates primarily to the return of this world, the earth and the fulness thereof, to the One whose world it is, through Man restored.  In my next post, “The Transmutation of Planet Earth,” I will give in-depth and specific consideration to the divine design by which the Earth is restored to the One who is responsible for it.  Until then,

Be love.  Be loved.

Steps of Ascent 2: BE The Fire of Fusion

“Eventually, the time comes when you mourn the comfort you felt in the chaos of the fire. You embrace the smoke and you rise up into your purpose.” (Embracing the Smoke, JESSICA LYNN)

(Jessica Lynn just started following my blog.  I went to her blog and liked what I found there.  You might like it as well.  Click on her name above to visit her.)

As much as I enjoy and value our virtual gatherings by Zoom, I do miss our physical gatherings where we sat in a circle and shared attunement with one another and shared face-to-face our thoughtful expressions of the One Spirit as it moved around the circle to find who is the one it wished to speak through next.  I just love working and sharing in the group dynamic, especially when we tone together, something we can’t do on Zoom very effectively.

I would like to share such an event from out of the past when we were all exploring diverse and innovative ways of generating spiritual substance together.  This event took place at an attunement workshop here in the South.

A group of about forty were participating in such a musical release one weekend attunement practitioners gathering and something absolutely wonderful and coherent revealed itself.  I had instructed those standing beside their partners, who were sitting, to hold a contact point with their right hand over the chest of their partner, where the Thymus gland is located, and position the left hand above the crown of the head, where the pointed fingers would be in direct alignment with the Pineal Body located in the center of the brain.  I then asked them to be very still and quiet and listen for a tone sounding silently in the dense substance of pneumaplasm that was by then permeating this particular gathering of friends, who had been moving together for several hours that day in a weekend workshop. As this was done, I asked them to sound that tone with their voices upon my signal.  Much to our delightful surprise, everyone sounded the exact same tone right on key, with one or two exceptions who sounded a tone that was one of the natural harmonic overtones of the one tone the majority were chanting. You can imagine the beautiful sound that this unified expression made. It was exquisite, with just the right and balanced volume laced with just the right and fitting number of harmonic tones being sounded, again just the right number.

This experience demonstrated to us that we are one yet different from each other, and that One Tone sounds throughout the entire body of mankind, finding a point of focused resonance in each one at the level of the pure and silent heart. The Thymus, as we have seen, is the fourth of the seven endocrine glands, representing the connecting point between the three above and the three below it, bringing to focus the Spirit of Purification, which brings to us assurance about our identity as beautiful, innocent, and radiant angelic beings.

From that moment on throughout the balance of our time together we were an entirely different group. Something entirely new had come into focus, through each one individually and through the collective gathering. We had participated in the shining of light through flesh, of fusion between spirit and form, as the glow in the room gave ample evidence.  Spirit, released through musical sound as a carrier wave, had created a new entity with our grouping, or perhaps had allowed the Presence of the One Great Spirit we comprise altogether to be made manifest in our midst. Whatever it was and with whatever words one may use to describe it, we as a group were not the same as before, and we knew it.

We also knew that the current of unified radiation that had surely been released through us went forth into the world to accomplish whatever the Great Spirit had to accomplish in and through us that day. It was a beautiful and intense, yet simple and very humbling experience. Humbling because we knew that what we had generated and gathered together within our sacred circle as refined substance, as fun as the gathering was and as delightfully healing and transforming the intense substance felt in our own bodies, the purpose for it was beyond us.  We were available and therefore used by Spirit for the purposes of Spirit. What those purposes were no one of us had the slightest clue, in the sense of something specific that might have been influenced by the impact of the release of spirit through us.  We were not interested in speculating about it either. Our own personal and collective experience of transformation, real as it was, was certainly not the purpose. That was merely a phase in the whole process of what needed to find release through us. In that sense it was a necessary part of the purpose, but the purpose was larger than us. Our purpose in letting the vehicle of our collective substance come into form in order to accommodate the greater release through us of Spirit was simply that, to provide Love with a means of action in the world where we are. That is all.  And it was, incidentally, a wonderful experience of healing and transformation.

Moments of intensity, such as this, are truly delightful. The fact that a larger purpose, often beyond our scope of vision and ability to observe, is served in and through them in no way diminishes the feeling of exhilaration and sense of wonderment.  It is our holding onto them and wanting more of such moments for our own satisfaction, or even entertainment, that diminishes their potency and eventually prevents us from experiencing them at all. On the other hand, allowing them to serve a higher order and larger purpose in our own consciousness of inclusiveness, broadens our depth of ecstasy and brings us more completely into the very hub of creativity at the core of our being where “firm control and awful power eternally abide.” In this way we are not thrown out into utter confusion, or carried away in emotional bubbles that vanish into thin air, by our mental interpretation of or emotional reaction to what we are experiencing.  We are held steady in the place of absolute stillness where we may continue to abide in the safety and clarity of assurance that the truth is true and all is well, an assurance of the truth of love that only the Spirit of Purification can bring about. ♦

MEETING FIRE WITH FIRE

Speaking of purification, there’s nothing more pure than fire.  When a conflagration is completed, nothing remains but the fire and a bit of smoking ash.  This is so in what is vogue these days in the cremation of our human remains, what we leave behind when we make our transition back Home into the realms of light.  It is likewise so when the fire of purifying love moves through heart, mind and body.  One may feel a bit frayed and fragile after a fire of rebuke has burned through one’s heart and mind, especially when one’s human ego is sizzled in the process and left limp.  I’ve had that experience more than once when it felt like words being spoken by someone were directed toward me specifically.  Ouch!  But it’s a good hurt.  We can meet the fire of purification with our own angelic fire and discover in the encounter that they are one and the same.  Our angelic fire is the fire of purification.

I recall a phase in my initial awakening decades ago when my entire outer being was so fused with my angelic emergence that my eyes were ablaze with light and my body felt it was in the cool blue center of a flame.  I remember how my receptionist, who was also on this path to spiritual transformation, could not look into my eyes they were so bright. When I went outdoors into the summer sunshine I felt no heat from the sun and I welcomed the rays of sunlight as part of what and who I Am.  I was meeting fire with fire and it felt so wholesome and natural.  I Am the Sun!

That went on for several months and eventually led to a moment of transmutation and levitation during a shared group attunement and weekly world blessing service in which I participated, along with several others in various locations around the globe.  I was alone in a garden setting of a monastery when this occurred. I will share insights and implications relating to this experience in a future post.

At this time of increasing intensity, it suffices to say that if we are to ascend to a higher vibration — rise up into our purpose, as Jessica worded it — we must be utterly in love with Love, with the fire of transmutation, and meet the fire as our own angelic fire.  Identify with the fire.  BE the fire of fusion.  Find the cool blue undisturbed center of the flame and dwell there.  It’s the one and only way to move out of the heat and discomfort zone in a world aflame — physically, mentally, emotionally as well as spiritually.  It’s only going to get hotter around the edges of the flame.  So stay in the cool blue center.  Let’s up our radiant expression of uplifting spirit and help the world renew itself . . . while embracing the smoke and blessing the ash left behind.   I welcome your thoughts. ♥

“When Love Is The Way. . . .”

“If Humanity ever captures the energy of Love, it will be the second time in history that we have discovered fire.”

Bishop Michael Curry of the American Episcopal Church, spoke these words at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Princess Meghan Markle at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.  (The clip is only 13.5 minutes)

In a message, which took to church not only those in attendance at the royal wedding of Britain’s Prince Harry, 33, and American actress Meghan Markle, 36, on Saturday — but millions watching from across the world — Bishop Michael Bruce Curry preached on the “redemptive power of love.”

Curry, the first African-American presiding bishop of the American Episcopal Church encouraged all receiving his message to discover the power of love to make of “this old world a new world.”

For many, his impassioned sermon — punctuated with themes of politics, social justice, civil rights and quotes from Martin Luther King Jr. and the controversial Catholic theologian Pierre Teilhard de Chardin — was a highlight of the historic matrimonial ceremony.  (NPR via KRVS)

Bishop Curry, with all the passionate emotions of his African-American heritage, preaching to a stiff-upper-lip British congregation, appeared to make many uncomfortable, but not without giving jovial response to his occasional wit and humor.  My response was one of awe and deep appreciation for this powerful, clarion voice sounding in the wilderness of a world gone mad.  I will read his recently released book LOVE IS THE WAY.  This man is a modern day disciple who has received the power promised and already given by Jesus to all of Humanity, waiting no longer to be received and released into the world.  He among others are doing it with full voice.

Of course I disagree with the bishop where he puts the traditional Christian spin and rationale on the crucifixion and sacrificial death of the man in which the Lord of Love incarnated.  Let’s call it what it was in fact: a futile attempt to extinguish the Light of the World by those to whom he brought and gave the Power to Love one another.  It was an abomination; a slap in the face of God . . . and it did not have to happen. This beautiful prayer he spoke with his Heavenly Father tells us that his work on earth was finished well before his crucifixion.  In his own words taken from the Red Letter Edition of my King James Bible:

“Father . . . . I have glorified thee on earth: I have finished the work which thou gaveth me to doAnd now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were and thou gaveth them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known all things whatsoever thou gaveth me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gaveth me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no longer in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. (John 17:5)

That was His work. And He had already finished it and ascended back to his Father from whence He had come.  The crucifixion was not part of the plan of salvation.  Christianity made it so by projecting it heavenward.  It was not by shedding His blood that salvation was given to humanity; but by shining the Light of His Father’s Love and revealing Him on Earth through his living example.  What a mockery has been made of his life and purpose for incarnating in the world of mankind.

Other than that, the bishop’s powerfully delivered message struck a joyful chord of agreement in my heart:

“Someone once said that Jesus began the most revolutionary movement in human history.  A movement grounded in the unconditional love of God for the world – and a movement mandating people to live that love, and in so doing to change not only their lives but the very life of the world itself.  I’m talking about power. Real power. Power to change the world.”

I personally have much to take to heart in his sermon.  I feel the love in my heart for humanity, for those in my immediate world—my family and close friends.  But what about my expression of love?  When those close to me tell me they don’t feel my love, it gives me pause.  Is my heart closed to the world and to those in my world?  I know that my heart is ecstatically open upward to my Lord, especially while sharing His healing love in my attunement service.  Is not that enough?  Apparently not.  I don’t go around saying “I love you” like I see many doing, almost habitually.  It just doesn’t feel genuine to me; not my style. I feel that my actions of generosity and service are sufficient, my smile and acts of kindness; my doing unto others that which I would that they should do unto me.  Is not living the Golden Rule an adequate expression of love?

A fire burns with increasing intensity in my heart these days, and at times bursts forth in anger at certain provocations.  Impatience with the ugly, idiotic and thoughtless behavior in my world and in the larger uncivilized world, particularly during these last few weeks of political upheaval with our presidential elections.

As I watch the election coverage, I am in awe of the way American democracy is working.  Samantha said recently on The Today Show “We can agree to disagree. But we don’t have to hate one another.” That tone of hate which sounded for four years has drawn out the worst of us.  A new tone has today begun sounding at the top of our nation’s leadership, and it is already drawing out the best of us.  It’s all about resonance, isn’t it?

At times, I seem to have misplaced my sense of compassion and empathy with the world.  I know it’s simply purification of my heart, and the heart of humanity, from which none of us can extract ourselves.  And I know that this, too, shall pass. Let it be quick and painless, Lord.  Not for my sake, but that none should perish, but come to know peace and the eternal wonder of Life.  And Life is truly wonderful!

Can you imagine how wonderful it must have been in Eden before we fell to this low level of mere “survival of the fittest,” as we say of the animal kingdom ?!  Cannot the power of Love re-create Eden on Earth through us today?  A possible direction to go in with my next post. Your thoughts?  Until my next post,

Be love.  Be loved.
