Transmutation Demystified Part 4: At the Crossover Point

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91)

* * *

PROCEEDING TO THE FINAL two misconceptions our featured author and science mentor, Walter Russell, rectifies in his book A NEW CONCEPT of the UNIVERSE, this excerpt reminds me of a quip uttered by a friend and attunement colleague: “Nothing’s wrong. Everything matters.” Used as a verb, if you will, the word “matters” would mean materializes or manifests.

The flip side of this coined quip could read “Nothing’s wrong, everything un-matters,” as in disintegrates, in the life/death cycle in this “Creating Universe,” as Russell calls it, implying that there is no beginning nor ending to God’s eternal Creation, as energy — which is what everything is — cannot be created nor uncreated or destroyed. The Universe of Light is as eternal as its Creator. Let’s hear what Dr. Russell has to say about matter. Does anything really “matter” or is it all an illusion? Hmmm.

* * *

Now you see it. Now you don’t.

Misconception of Matter

4. Electric matter is but a mirror which reflects qualities outside itself to simulate those qualities within itself.

In the Mind of any creator of any product is the IDEA of the formed body which Mind desires to produce. Also the knowledge, energy and method of production are in the Mind of the creator of that product and not in the product. The architect does not say that the energy, idea, or construction methods are in the temple of his conceiving, nor should man say that they are in the temple of God’s conceiving.

To thus claim that energy is a property of matter is to deprive The Creator of His omnipotence and omniscience. The entire universe manifests power, but the universe is not the power which it manifests.

Not one particle of matter which constitutes the material body of any product can move of itself. It can move only through desire and command of the Mind of its creator extended to it electrically.

The powers of “attraction” and “repulsion” which science mistakenly attributes to matter are electrical effects performing their one and only function of dividing an equilibrium into two opposing conditions, which extend equally from a dividing equator. The magnetic Light controls the balance of these two opposing conditions which interchange two ways in their endeavor to void their opposing conditions, but the stresses and strains which seem to make matter attract and repel matter are electric effects.

Electric effects of motion can be insulated from each other — but the magnetic Light of The Creator, which causes those effects, cannot be insulated from matter by matter.

All matter is electric. Electricity conditions all matter under the measured control of the ONE MAGNETIC LIGHT which forever balances the TWO electrically-divided, conditioned lights of matter and space.

Divided matter strains to find balance in the zero of equilibrium from which it was divided. The senses of man are mightily deceived by the illusions of appearance which cause him to conclude otherwise.

Newton’s apple was not attracted to the ground by gravitation. The high potential condition of that solid apple sought a similar high potential condition. That is to say it “fell” toward the earth to fulfill Nature’s law of like seeking like.

Had Newton sat with the apple for a week or two he would have seen that same apple “rise” unto the heavens as a low potential gas seeking a like low potential position to balance its electrically-divided state. The “rising” of the decaying, expanding apple again fulfills Nature’s law of like seeking like.

All polarizing bodies add to their densities and potentials. The apple which fell to the ground was a polarized body. All polarized bodies must reverse their polarities and depolarize. They then lose their densities and potentials. The depolarized apple returned to the zero of its beginning.

The Newtonian law is in this respect invalid because it accounts for but one half of the apple’s growth-decay cycle. This is a two-way universe of opposed effects of motion — not a one-way Universe.

Misconception of Substance in Matter

5. Sense of observation has led to the erroneous conclusion that there are 92 different substances of matter.

This universe is substance-less. It consists of motion only. Motion simulates substance by the control of its opposing wave pressures of motion which deceive the senses into seeing substance where motion alone is. The senses do not reach beyond the illusion of motion, or do those who believe that they can gain knowledge of the secrets of this vast make-believe universe even faintly comprehend the unreality of this mirage of polarized light-in-motion which they so firmly believe is real.

Motion is two-way, for all motion is caused by the division of an equilibrium, and its extension in two opposite directions to create the two opposite conditions of pressures necessary to make motion imperative.

One of these two conditions of electric motion thrusts inward toward a center to create a centripetal vortex to simulate gravity. On the other side of the dividing equator, the other condition thrusts outward from a center to create a centrifugal. vortex to simulate vacuity.

Moving waves of oppositely-conditioned matter simulate substance, but there is no substance to the motion which simulates IDEA in matter. If a cobweb could move fast enough, it would simulate a solid steel disc — and it could cut through steel. If such a thing could happen it would not be the “substance” of the cobweb which cut through the steel — it would be the motion which cut it.

Fast-moving short waves simulate solids, while slow-moving long waves simulate the gases of space which surround solids. Waves of motion are substance-less, however. They merely simulate substance.

Motion itself is controlled by the Mind of the Creator Who uses it to express His desire for simulating IDEA of Mind by giving it a formed body. There is no other purpose for motion.

Desire in the Light of Mind for creative expression is the only energy in this universe. All motion is Mind motivated. All motion records Mind thoughts in matter.

All matter is but pressure-conditioned motion. Varying pressure conditions yield varying states of motion. Varying states of motion are what science misinterprets as the elements of matter.

Varying pressures in a wave are tonal.  In each octave wave there are four pairs of tones, each of which has the same relative position in its octave color spectrum as it has in its octaves of chemical elements.

Waves are, therefore, electric pressure-conditioned octaves of tone.

ELECTRICAL VORTICES OF ENEGETIC WAVES

This graphic from Russell’s book demonstrates how electrical currents spin a vortex of energy, a “field” if you will, as bodies of matter are created and un-created and returned to their origin as invisible plasma, or gas.

The crossover point is at the equator where Light abides in stillness offering control to the movement of atoms and providing a fulcrum for balancing the opposing actions of radiation and gravitation. (Another word for gravitation is response or attraction.) It’s also the place of greatest pressure, as well as the point of transmutation.

AS BELOW SO ABOVE

What manifests and takes shape in the explicate order under the heaven reflects Life’s design for forms in the implicate order of the heaven. There is only One Law governing the Creative Process: Radiation–Response–Attraction–Union–Unified Radiation. This law governs the electric universe at all levels, including and especially at the level where Man was created to live and function at the crossover point between Heaven and Earth as co-creator with God. The substance of connection between Man and Creator is the medium through which the Tone of the Word that creates Life on Earth is propagated so as to be perceptible by Man and re-sounded in the expression of his living. That medium is the rarified substance of pheumaplasm (spirit substance).

Pneumaplasm is the silvery substance comprising the plasma chord of connection between the Angel and his/her incarnating human capacity. Essentially it is transmuted flesh generated by the movement of the Spirit of God in expression through body, mind and heart. The flow of Spirit, of Love, enters the body by way of the heart as it is open in love response to the Spirit of God — as Handle celebrated in his MESSIAH: Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting portals, that the King of glory may come in.” — and as the Lord of Love commanded when he gave us the First Great Commandment.

A friend and attunement colleague, Chris Jorgensen, of the International Association of Attunement Practitioners, recently penned a succinct description of the crossover point in a context relating to Attunement:

The crossover point is the sacred place where the Radiation of Being is consciously known and shared. It is the point where Love is made visible. It is Assurance in divine Presence. The current vibration of the world is the Spirit of Purification, the crossover point – the energy, frequency and radiation of the Heart-Thymus. It is a singular point where Heaven and Earth meet.

Living in Attunement at the crossover point we find ourselves alone in our own radiation and pneumaplasm. This sacred setting is not a school, or a place to find an external leader to direct or instruct, nor is it the place of questioning. At this crossover point we know our own divine name, our sense of purpose, and the commission for the life-pattern that we have created and continually enfold in love . . . and, we know the answers to any of our questions.

The electric technology for the transmutation and ascension of flesh to a higher vibrational state, and for the generation of spiritualized atomic substance, is already in place. All one need do is come into the place of greatest pressure and greatest stillness at the crossover point of no magnitude between Heaven and Earth and look up in utter love and abandon and say — with all of one’s heart and with all of one’s mind and with all of one’s strength— “I love you Lord God” — and never leave that place of stillness. Live in the place of attunement with the tone of that love response upward and the outward flow of life will continually be strong and radiant. Transmutation is natural.

As always, I welcome any thoughts you may wish to share either in the comment feature or by email. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved

At the Crossover: A White Stone . . . and a New Name

“We as individuals carry power and are part of a larger pattern in which power moves through earth and tides, seasons and thoughts and words.” —Rose Meeker

♦ ◊ ♦

I HAD A DREAM A FEW NIGHTS AGO about the number 8.  There was a large poster in front of what appeared to be a holistic healing center that read “DEEP EIGHT” and a large number 8 below the caption.  The message I heard was that the vibrational essences in the top half of the 8 have descended and deeply penetrated the lower half energizing and renewing it.  The implication was that we had reached the place in our spiritual movement and transformation between the New Heaven above the New Earth below where all power in Heaven and on Earth are given to us as a collective body of Man to bring forth the New Earth deeply into our planet. Not only bring it into planet Earth but to bring forth a new order into our Solar Entity.  We have come fully into the crossover point between Heaven and Earth, the Fourth Dimension where I AM known.

The Human Race is at a crossroads: either we move up in consciousness to the “Fourth Dimension” or we perish in third-density existence.  We are seven-dimensional entities . . . more than bodies with minds and hearts.  We are Human Beings: spiritual beings who incarnated from out of the immaterial, invisible realms of Light and into the material, visible realm of physical matter — spirits in flesh bodies with minds and hearts that let us live and serve on the material plane of being.  That’s four densities, or dimensions: Spirit, heart, mind, body —  through which moves a mighty river of Love, of Truth and of Life. That makes seven dimensions . . . which comprise a whole new entity which may be described as God in action on Earth.  At the fourth dimension, the crossover point, I AM present as a Human Being, spirit incarnate, at the crossover point between Heaven and Earth.

(The graphic below portrays several cycles and configurations, which I will not detail in this post; perhaps in a future post.  What I wish to portray with this graphic is the “larger pattern through which power moves” and of which we are a part —  in the Creative Process that brings forth Man and the entire world of form.  What I sensed in my dream was that the cycles moving in the “INNER PLANE” of the New Heaven above had moved down into the “OUTER PLANE” below where Man lives — where we live and have our being and co-create the New Earth.

Note that in the outer plane the cycle moves down on the left and up on the right, bringing down the patterns in the New Heaven for the New Earth into human consciousness, while disintegrating the old heaven in human consciousness and the old earth maintained by the disintegrating old heaven in consciousness, and on the right simultaneously integrating the elements that give form to the New Earth.  Our role is one of stewarding this creative cycle, which has been moving long before the Awakening in human consciousness.  We who have awakened to this cycle bear the greater responsibility for stewarding it.)

Since our fall out of the Garden state, we have functioned, in consciousness and in behavior, as third-density creatures on a third-density planet, not much more intelligent than our apian friends, though sadly more destructive.  Our planet has begun its movement vibrationally to the Fourth Density where it will no longer be able to support third-density entities.  So, we find ourselves as planetary inhabitants squeezed out of our comfort zone in third-density and being pressured to let go and move on up with the planet to a higher vibrational state: the Fourth Dimension.  A critical number have already moved up and cleared the path for all to follow.  “The Earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.”

I POSTED THIS THREE YEARS AGO and feel it is time to repost it.  Each time when I return to this inspired writing, I am summoned once again to a place of remembrance of my mission and purpose.  As I explore in my book SACRED ANATOMY– where spirit and flesh dance in the fires of creation, we have in our physical anatomy and endocrine physiology the equipment to transform and transmute our flesh bodies to higher vibrational frequencies.  I write about this endocrine physiology of hormonal function, with its potential alchemy for transmutation of flesh, in my book.   It feels timely now to revisit the chapter “The Spiritual Significance of the Pineal Gland.”  For context, you would benefit by reading the post previous to this one: “The Pineal Gland, Crystal Portal for Incarnation.

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.” (Rev 2:17)

A STONE CUT OUT WITHOUT HANDS

Uranda’s reference in my previous post to the “white stone” as being the “renewed Pineal Gland” reminds me of another place in the Old Testament of the Bible where a small stone is mentioned that plays a pivotal role in the history of the Middle East. This reference is in the second chapter of The Book of Daniel. It is such a wonderful and pertinent story that I would like to consider it in all of its dramatic and significant details.

DANIEL AND KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR

It seems that Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar, having just besieged Jerusalem—something that occurred quite frequently in those days—had a dream which he summoned his soothsayers to not only interpret for him but to tell him the very dream itself, for he had forgotten it.  All he could remember of it was that it troubled his spirit so much that it woke him from his sleep. Yet he could not remember the dream, so he summoned all the wise men of Babylon to remember it for him and interpret it.  When they could do neither, he was so furious that he commanded that they all be destroyed, along with Daniel and his fellows, Shadrach, Mishach and Abednego — formerly known by the names,  Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, respectively.  To Daniel was given the name “Belteshazzar.”

Of course Daniel, who had not as yet had his chance at the dream, came to the king and did indeed tell him his dream as well as its interpretation.  This pleased the king, who then acknowledged that Daniel’s God was truly “a God of  gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets,” so he showered Daniel with many gifts and made him ruler over all the governors of Babylon.  He also placed Daniel’s fellows over the affairs of the province of Babylon,  with its hanging gardens, one of the “seven wonders of the world.” (Near present-day Baghdad)

THE DREAM

The dream itself was of a great image that was fashioned of various ores.  His head was made of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron and his feet, interestingly enough, were made with a mixture of iron and clay.  What likely troubled king Nebuchadnezzar so was what happened in his dream to this image when a stone, “cut out without hands,” smote the image upon its feet.  The feet mixed with iron and clay crumbled and the whole image came tumbling down and all that the image was made of—the gold, the silver, the brass and the iron mixed with clay—was blown away by the wind so that nothing was left of it anywhere.  But the stone became a great mountain which filled the whole earth.

Daniel interpreted the dream as a prophetical outworking that would see the rise and fall of several empires, including Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian empire, which Daniel said was represented by the head of gold.  There would be other empires to come after the Babylonian empire, such as the Persian, the Grecian and Roman empires.  All would rise and fall.  The stone represented the kingdom of Daniel’s “God of heaven” which would be established during the reign of these kings and would remain to fill the whole earth after these other kingdoms had passed away.

King Nebuchadnezzar, for whatever reason, was not content to simply heed the message of his dream.  He had a ninety by nine foot statue, or “image of gold,” erected “in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon” (Daniel 3:1).  Now Babylon [today’s Iraq] was a province, or state—a collective, in other words, of many cities.  In the Bible, whenever a city or state is mentioned, it may be seen as a metaphor for consciousness, so that Babylon could be seen here as relating to the collective consciousness of humanity in which the human mind plays a focal role as a lens to refocus the light of truth.  The mind is historically thought to be anchored within the brain.  So I think it’s interesting, if not significant, that this “image of gold” was erected in the “plain of Dura” somewhere in Babylon. The word “Dura,” as we saw above, is also used to identify the outer protective membrane of the brain and spinal chord.

In other words, this image could be seen as representing an image of gold held in the human intellect, gold representing love, but also what gold brings, namely power, as well as abundance and wealth. To Nebuchadnezzar this image of gold represented his many gods and the gifts of wealth and plenty these gods had bestowed upon him and his empire. Having erected this gigantic idol, he commanded that, upon hearing the sound of the “musick,” everyone, under penalty of death in the fiery furnace, should fall down and worship the golden image.

ONE “LIKE UNTO THE SON OF GOD” IN THE FIERY FURNACE

As the story goes, it was reported to the king that Daniel’s three companions were not obeying his command, so the king had Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego bound and thrown into the fiery furnace to honor his decree.  So furious was he that these three friends of Daniel would not worship his gods that he had the furnace heated seven times more than it was wont to be heated. As we recall, the three men, who went into the fiery furnace singing songs of praise and thanksgiving to their God, were not burned by the fire but only their bonds,  along with the men who had thrown them into the furnace, were destroyed, setting them free.

The king was suddenly “astonied”  because of what he saw in the furnace:

“Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire ?” he asked of his counselors.  “True, king” they answered him.  “Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:24-25)

Here is that vision again of the One standing in the midst of fire that is like unto the Son of God.  There was a presence, in other words, that was of another dimension.

Daniel himself was favored by all the kings who reigned during his lifetime because “an excellent spirit was in him,” and because of his strong faith in his God.   The Median King Darius later on would have to throw Daniel into the lion’s den to appease the Medes and Persians, who are known for their unalterable laws, only to spend a sleepless night fasting and in deep repentance hoping that Daniel’s God would surely deliver him.  He arose early in the morning and went with haste to the lion’s den crying out remorsefully but hopefully for Daniel, whom he found quite whole and unharmed.   He was “exceeding glad” and therefore commanded that those who had made the accusation against Daniel themselves be fed to the lions, along with their wives and their families.   Further he wrote to all the peoples of the entire earth that had peace among them and decreed that “in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and steadfast forever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.”

It is noteworthy here that throughout this story of Daniel he is placed first over other princes and governors because of his spirit, which was the spirit of the Lord God whom Daniel worshiped and sought to represent to the rulers and people of this great empire.  It is also noteworthy that this king, along with others after him in the story, were constantly torn between their many gods—the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and stone—and this One God of Heaven that Daniel worshiped and obeyed.  Whereas they could not deny the awesome power Daniel’s God bestowed upon him, particularly over secrets and dreams (it seems the kings of that era had a lot of disturbing dreams), they would resort to their traditions of placating the gods of their religions so as to assure their kingship, as well as the people’s homage, respect and obedience, as rulers of the world at that time.

It was always the accusations of the other governors against Daniel and his companions that caused the king to enforce his own decrees, only to hope in his heart that Daniel’s God would surely deliver them.  This dynamic makes the story all the more interesting and relevant to human nature antics, which have not changed much.  For even to this day do we worship the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and especially stone which we grind up to construct our buildings and highways.  So do we also make laws that cannot be broken without paying either with money or our lives — the same laws to be used in bringing down those in high places of government, our leaders and elected officials whom we blame for our troubles, while praying to God for deliverance from them.

This was the empire where Daniel began to prosper and his God of Heaven was acknowledged as being the “God of the living” to be feared and worshiped by all peoples everywhere.  The one just prior to this one, ruled over by Nebuchadnezzar’s son, Belshazzar, was the one represented in the dream by the feet made of iron mixed with clay.  It had fallen, bringing all the empires of that era down into the dust of obliteration.  But Daniel’s God and his heavenly kingdom, once a little stone, had grown into a great mountain which filled the whole earth.

Stay tuned for the rest of the story and its prophetic significance in my next post. Until then,

Be love. Be loved

War in a Culture of Fear

THE RUSSIAN AGGRESSION AGAINST UKRAINE may be seen and understood as the manifestation of a war culture in human consciousness. What Neale Donald Walsch says in the article linked below about the Syrian crisis of 2013 is applicable, in the way I see it, to the Ukrainian crisis today, as well as to all 27 live conflicts currently occurring worldwide.

As above so below.  As in human consciousness so in our world.

The underlying motivating force behind war may well be fear; a fear buried deeply in the mass subconscious.  It’s a fear of Divine retribution — or rather a fear of an imagined and well deserved wrath of God in punishment for betraying His trust, and betraying God himself.

As a race of humanity, many of our specie look upon so-called “natural disasters” as punishment for sinful ways.  Lightning and thundering are outbursts of an angry God.  The Deluge in Noe’s day and the cataclysms in Moses’s day, detailed by Immanuel Velikovsky in his signature work WORLDS IN COLLISION — even hurricanes and tornados — are punishing “acts of God.”  Ultimately, we fear annihilation of our species by ecological collapse and, once more in my lifetime, by nuclear war.

We are bent on punishing ourselves for separating from our Creator and betraying the trust He placed in us to eat heartedly of the fruit of the Tree of Life and to keep our hands off the fruit of Tree of the Knowledge of good and evil.  It seems our attitude is that, if God doesn’t punish us, then we will punish ourselves with war and self-destruction.  This fear is literally driving us mad, not to mention crippling our immune systems.  It appears we have a death-wish for our specie.

Read with Neale Donald Walsch wrote about war in the link below:

There can be no justification, in a spiritual sense, for a military attack by the United States on Syria, whatever the intention or cause.  The very first message of Conversations with God, on pg. 5 of Book One, says that We Are All One. If this is true (and it is), then killing each other to resolve our problems — even our biggest problems — can never be the answer . . . .  The spiritual wisdom on this matter says that we cannot continue with the insanity of using killing to end killing, violence to end violence. Negativity only breeds negativity . . . . the problem in the world today is that we keep trying to solve the problem in the world today at every level except the level at which the problem exists.

THE ONLY SOLUTION IS LOVE . . . FOR THE LORD

The solution to war is the same today as it has always been: REPENT. Turn around and face the Creator with humility and naked acknowledgment of our betrayal.  We can only do this as individuals, but we do it for all of mankind when we do it individually.  As a member of the body of Mankind I can speak for the whole body:  “Here I am, Lord. I heard your voice in the Garden and I was afraid.  I am sorry for betraying you.  Please forgive me.  I love you, Lord, with all of my being.”  We each have the authority to speak these words — for our selves and for the Body of Mankind. Who has the integrity and the willingness to do this?  I do.  I am responsible for the war in Ukraine, and for all wars, past and present, in the world.  Only by owning up to our responsibility, individual and collective, and giving our utter love to the One whose world this is, our Beloved Lord and King, will wars stop being waged on earth.

Let us replace our culture of fear with the culture of love, and thereby put an end to war.  Cast fear and war out of our consciousness.  Only thus will our world reflect the culture of love present above it in our heaven.  It only exist in our consciousness, our heaven.  In God’s Heaven there is only peace and love . . . and forgiveness.  Our Creator awaits our return.  Let’s not keep Him waiting another moment.

Am I being a bit naive or overly simplistic? I think simple is more accurate.  It’s the truth, and the truth is simple.  I welcome your thoughts and insights.  Until my next post,

Be love.  Be Loved.

Seeking the Face of Jacob

♦ ◊ ♦

       The Prince of Peace

“Whoever has come to know the world has found a corpse.
And whoever has found (this) corpse, of him the world is not worthy. . . .  If you do not abstain from the world, you will not find the kingdom.” —Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas

♦ ◊ ♦

The world is a corpse . . . so said the Master, the “Prince of Peace.”  Not the planet, just the world of man’s making.  Especially the world we’ve constructed of concrete, iron and plastic — of consumptive commercial enterprise, political polarization and division; of poverty, greed and avarice; of mass starvation and hysteria; of war and genocide.  That world is dead and is only sustained by the life-energy men and women pour into it, draining away their own life substance, their God-given birthright.

War is such a waste of life energy and natural resources.  Those who declare and conduct wars lose their lives just as surely as those who die on the battlefields.  And those who seek to profit from manipulating the masses and selling them false security are foolishly and deceivingly selling dishonest goods.  The lie of the serpent has always been a futile endeavor to be honest with dishonest good.  One cannot give what one doesn’t have oneself.  One cannot sell peace to a world at war with itself who does not own peace oneself.  Nor can one revive a corpse who has not the power to infuse flesh with life.  Best to put one’s efforts toward bringing forth a new world.  (The 1982 film Koyaanisqatsi . . . Life Out of Balance and needing a new beginning . . . comes to mind.)  A world out of balance is destined to topple.

LIFE IS A GIFT AND A MIRACLE

I resonate with the sayings in the Gospel of Thomas. This saying by Jesus is powerfully resonating in my heart and mind as I approach writing this post:

“If the flesh came into being because of the spirit, it is a wonder.  But if the spirit (came into being) because of the body, it is a wonder of wonders. Yet I marvel at how this great wealth has taken up residence in this poverty.”

I marvel at how wonderous and mysterious is my own sustained incarnation after eighty-two years, and how this flesh body still pulsates with the breath of life.  I marvel at how my mind arises from my body to meet and share the Consciousness of God descending from Heaven above, a gift that connects me with my Creator making my personal world one, as heaven and earth are one.  This saying of Jesus brings sadness and hope into my heart:

“I stood in the middle of the world, and in flesh I appeared to them. I found all of them drunk. None of them did I find thirsty.  And my soul ached for the children of humanity, because they are blind in their heart, and they cannot see; for they came into the world empty, (and) they also seek to depart from the world empty.  But now they are drunk. (But) when they shake off their wine, then they will change their mind.”

Will we change our minds and our hearts? My hope is likely in vain. That was some twenty-two hundred years ago; not very long when one considers the length of a human lifespan — in terms of generations, perhaps as little as sixty-five or seventy. How much do you think the world has changed in such a short period of time?  Do you think the Master’s words still apply to this generation?  He is on record as having said “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words will not pass away.” I believe the man-made world is just as dead today as it was then.  That said, still . . .

“The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.  For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.”

The “ordinances” for the earth and its fullness are established upon the sea of Divine Consciousness, the Heaven for the unfolding of Earth’s journey through the Cosmos. Our part is to set them in the earth, to materialize creation. The true creator stays with his creation throughout the cycles of its existence, and according to astronomical predictions, this planet has several more billion years ahead of it . . . but not necessarily as it now is or has been.  Change is definitely afoot for the earth and for earthlings.

I’m preaching to the choir here, of course, just sharing the thoughts and meditations of my heart that started flowing in upon seeking, asking and knocking on the door of Heaven.  The rest of Psalm 24 wants to be shared here as well, perhaps as the focus for this post.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

Who was Jacob that his face would be sought by this generation?  He was, of course, the Father of the Nation of Israel, having received the blessing of Abraham, the father of his father Isaac, from whom he stole his brother Esau’s birthright and their father’s blessing. (The commentary and open forum the link above will take you to is insightful and worthy of your time.) The overarching answer to that question, of course, lies in the Akashic records of the several incarnations of the LORD of lords, who  was incarnate in the man Jesus — and that information lies in the realm of knowledge of a much higher order — which is not unavailable to us today.  According to the words of this psalm, the Lord was incarnate in Jacob as well.

We are in the Day of the “Second Coming” of the Christ , who was incarnate in a number of great beings of renown whose timely and appointed appearances are all part of the restoration of Man to his original state of oneness with the Creator.  The significance of Jacob’s “face” lies in the manner in which Jacob “wrestled with God” and therein proved his worthiness and stature of spirit to bring forth a nation¹ . . . and thereby initiate a cycle of restoration of Man to his rightful state of co-creator with God.  The story in the last chapters of Genesis — along with the dramatic episode of their wandering in the desert for forty-years as told in Exodus — are remarkable stories telling of the hardships the Nation of Israel suffered as the LORD God purified and chastened his children and proved them in the fire of love and truth.  From out of all they went through emerged the opportunity for life to be restored to the body of Man, the Body of God on Earth.  That restoration failed with Israel, and failed again with the re-initiation by the Lord of Love himself.

This generation once again seeks the face of Jacob through whom the first opportunity of Man’s restoration was initiated . . . only that face today is the face of the Prince of Peace.  For it is peace the peoples of planet Earth now seek and for which we all yearn.  We will bring peace to the world when we look into the face of one another and see the face of God . . . and love what we see . . . what the pure of heart see.  In a sense, we have to wrestle with our traditional concept of who and what God is, just as Abraham wrestled with the angel of God over the tradition which required the sacrifice of his firstborn, Isaac, to Jehovah.  With that denial of tradition, Abraham brought to a close the era of human sacrifice.  Today we sacrifice human lives in the marketplace of Wall Street and in the battlefields of warring nations.  To find peace we need to wrestle with and overcome our own addiction to war and to that which we seek to gain by waging war . . . war of any and all kinds.

(The painting of the face of Jesus at the top, “The Prince of Peace,” was done by Akiane Kramarik at the age of 8. According to her story, she felt asked and compelled from within her spirt to paint it.  If you click on her name you can listen to her amazing story. She also painted this one.)

I’ve come to love this One, Jesus (aka Jeshua), in whom the Christ incarnated to bring love into the world and thereby initiate the final cycle of redemption and restoration of Man to his true state of oneness with His Heavenly Father, a oneness which he proclaimed for himself and exemplified to his disciples and to the world during his life and brief public ministry.  I’ve come to know him as my Self, as the One I Am, for I am, and you are, as much a son or a daughter of the Father as He is.  We are in the days of his “Second Coming,” this time through the hearts of human beings — and as the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of the heaven of consciousness. These final words of Psalm 24 describe what we all must do to welcome His coming and complete the cycle of restoration that He initiated two-thousand year ago.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

I leave you to ponder these words and those of this blog post, which I’m feeling may well be my last post on Healing Tones.  Thank you for sharing the thoughts and meditations of my heart. May God bless and keep you safe from harm in the loving arms of The Prince of Peace.  Aumen

¹    “Jacob wrestles with God before going to meet his brother. What do we make of it? Obviously God could beat Jacob in a wrestling match so it seems that it may be that Jacob was having doubts or that God needed to test him. The NJBC says, “Jacob is truly a man of blessing, but this time he wrestles for it and receives it from God (in contrast to his cheating Esau in order to receive Isaac’s blessing.” Jacob has just prayed to God and laid his thoughts bare. Now he has wrestled with him and won. Now Jacob is ready to become the father of Israel. As Orual asked in C.S. Lewis’s masterpiece, Till we have faces, “How can the gods meet us face to face till we have faces?” Also, “I saw well why the gods do not speak to us openly, nor let us answer. Till that word can be dug out of us, why should they hear the babble that we think we mean? How can they meet us face to face till we have faces?’” Jacob now has a face and is ready to become the father of a great nation. First he must make things right with his own brother. Jacob may have been struck by earnest doubts in the face of possible bloodshed and death but this meeting was too important for covenantal history. God had to intervene.” (The BioLogos Forum)

Wetiko: Mind-Virus or Devil?

“If you are going through hell, keep going.” Winston Churchill

I RECEIVED a few thought-full commentaries on my last post.  This first one came from “across the pond” in the UK and was penned by a friend and long-time follower, Peter Watson.

Will (Wilkinson) is quite right, at least partly. Wetiko, a ‘mind-virus’  that Will has designated as the devil, is now rampant throughout civilization, and not just a white man’s affliction any longer, as it was before it also spread — like fire-water — to indigenous peoples too.

However, to leave wetiko as only a virus, it could be imagined as just something else to blame for the human problem; something to cure, or attune.  Beware the snare-of-the-fowler, the devil, the self-active human mind, for it is the subtlest beast in the field, and Will’s word substitution is a prime example of translating and using words to dilute truth (as if it could), to divert the spotlight from itself — a “speak or spin” common to clever politicians.

Would Jesus have addressed a virus trying to tempt him in the desert?  Would he have had a virus? Would a virus have been able to communicate at a mind level?  Or, rather, was Jesus addressing the dis-eased mind of mankind as he brought it to focus within himself to be dealt with?

Over the millennia the devil has operated under many guises, and behind and in front of many disguises, prominent among them are leadership, patriotism, and enemy.  Perhaps, though, the most insidious is education, at least education designed to further civilization for self-centered purposes.

How that works on the human mind is key to the human problem, as we shall see. Starting from the premise that there is nothing intrinsically wrong with the design and purpose of the human mind, we’re faced by the fact of what mankind has done with its mind, by what good men have trained their minds to do, which is, for the most part, collect and store data—enrich the mind with knowledge—explore history to validate and correlate the facts, and develop sciences to expand domination beyond the capabilities of their human capacities. We have megaliths and dolmens all over the place attesting to the legacy of demonstrating power, or, as C. S. Lewis called it, “that hideous strength.”

Now, if there’s nothing inherently wrong with the design and purpose of the human mind, which is a capacity-of-consciousness, ordained to process and apply creative thought, we’re faced with the fact that the content-of-consciousness, used to develop civilizations, has not much been concerned to consider the way-of-Life, let alone allowing Life to call the shots, as it has been and is (concerned) to sustain and magnify self-centered intentions, albeit imagined to be for the best, but clearly without the vision of wisdom.

My poet friend Don Hynes up in Oregon offered these insightful thoughts:

I have a few thoughts concerning the use of wetiko as a substitute for the “devil” as Martin used the term. I’ve met Paul Levy who popularized this term in western psychology, taken from the Native American use as Will notes, and am familiar with Levy’s writings and blog posts. I believe wetiko is a most accurate term for the mass psychosis present in western civilization at this time, but as we might agree has been around for quite a while, and in my judgement would make a ready substitute for what Martin often termed “human nature.”

However, by the “devil,” Martin, or perhaps I should say I, would indicate an incarnate presence, not a widespread illness as it were. By impersonalizing the “devil” I think the important link of evil with human embodiment is missed. Just as Martin surely emphasized the human form of divine or spiritual government, so I believe he would agree there is a similar form in the focus of anti-spirit or the anti-Christ to use John’s term from 1 John 4:3 in the NT.

I won’t belabor this but offer it as my thoughts concerning Martin’s use of this specific term. I believe the anti-Christ is present in a number of humans who wield the powers of darkness and desolation, the “spiritual wickedness in high places” referred to by the apostle Paul, but the ultimate presence may be with us as well.

Geoff Tish sent these succinct words of wisdom from “down under” in New Zealand:
Doing nothing whilst achieving everything, is the master art to practice now. Love is the way of the Master.

“The self-active mind clings to that which is like unto itself, but it is afraid of that to which it clings.”

(Uranda, Third Sacred School, Vol 12, Ch 36)

PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR

IT HAS BEEN SAID that perfect love — which is unconditional — casts out fear.  This mass paranoia and “psychosis” that has infected the world is nothing more than a mind-virus.  When a person goes into a fight-flight-or-freeze stress mode, the reptilian brain takes over in a survival mode blocking off all access to critical thinking with logic and reason, love and compassion, functions of the frontal lobe and the cerebrum.  All true thinking comes to a halt, along with the body’s immune system.  How, then, can one have “perfect love” when one’s only concern is to survive a global pandemic?  A large part of the answer lies in facing what it is that one fears and embracing it.  The larger part lies in the direction and object of our love.

Death is not something to fear but something to welcome as a passage to a higher level of life and creativity, a release from the prison of a physical form that offers very limited range of movement, for one thing, and an insecure and fragile abode for another.  From the moment it is born into the material world the human form begins to die and return to the humus from which it arose.  It’s the arduous task of our healthcare system to stave off the inevitable.  To facilitate this process, Life has provided scavengers to help break down and eliminate the metabolic waste of organic processes.  They’re called “viruses.”

Yes, viruses are organisms we cannot do without.  We wouldn’t make it very far past the crib without them.  They get rid of toxic waste, the breeding ground for pathogens and disease.  In my practice I noticed a repeating pattern that demonstrated this function of viruses in patients that tested positive for a virus after having gotten over a bacterial infection.  The metabolic waste from infection fighting needed cleaning up.  I’ve seen videos showing perfectly healthy cells morph into viruses where scavenging of toxic waste was needed.  This Coronavirus would not be scavenging around in our bodies unless there was toxic waste to scavenge.  With diseases and death, the condition of the host is always the primary consideration in determining the cause.

On the other side of this paradoxical existence, without a means of returning our human flesh to dust, we might live longer than we are want to in these limiting forms.  That would be a travesty for sure.  We would never be released from the material realm and return to the realms of light.  In the realms of light, there are no viruses.  There’s no need for them, nor for pathogens — nor for death.

Should we dare to look deeper into this “rabbit hole” we may even discover that we don’t really belong here in this plane of temporary existence.  This so-called “existential crisis” with which our planet is presenting us may be trying to tell us we don’t belong here at the level of the animal kingdom — where we behave like beasts at times — and that it’s time to let go of this world we’ve created and be about the business of creating a New World, a world that accommodates spiritual beings incarnate in capacities of light substance that do not break down, get sick and die.  What’s there to fear in this scenario?

Oh that we could just let go and embrace a new way of living in this magical universe!  Death, then, would surely lose its sting.  Wetiko, this paralyzing mind virus, would be dissipated for the construct of thought it is that has no reality to it whatsoever.  There’s really nothing to be afraid of and everything to look forward to in this right of passage we call death.

As for a “devil” entity in the world, an embodied anti-Christ as my poet friend describes “the mass psychosis present in western civilization at this time,” perhaps such a devil is in the details, as we say.  And there are so many details in our lives calling for our attention; lots of peripheral fallout from this pandemic, for instance.  I read in the Washington Post that some 140,000 children under age 18 have lost parents or caregivers between March 2020 and June 2021—just one of many crises facing people the world over.  These can be seen a distractions from what’s going on above and behind the surface play of events.  I’m not being cold and uncaring here.  On the contrary, I’m offering a higher view and perspective above our circumstances.

If we human beings are being asked to let go of this corrupt world, then let us do so graciously and with a attitude of gratitude.  Let us awaken fully to our purpose for incarnating at this moment in time, this historical moment when an old world is passing away needing our blessing, while a new world and New Earth are being born needing our welcome and stewardship.  The second answer to my question “How, then, can one have ‘perfect love’ when one’s only concern is to survive a global pandemic?” lies in what or who is the object of my love response.

There is no more worthy object of our love than our Creator.  Sometimes in our anguish and grief we look to God with an attitude of blame. “How could God allow this to happen?!” Job’s attitude is exemplary: “Though he slay me yet will I trust him.”  In this biblical story, Job lost everything and was himself inflicted with boils.  His three friends tried to comfort him by encouraging him to blame God for his troubles.  Instead, he blessed God and praised him for his wonderous works.  The result was that everything he lost was returned to him sevenfold.

If you need some encouraging words of comfort, you may find solace in Sharon Hart’s recent post on Facebook:

“To all my friends out there who know what’s really going on… To all who see through conspiracies and are intuitive… Yes, sometimes it’s a curse and not always a blessing to be awake. Awakening is the most liberating, alienating, excruciating, empowering, lonely, confusing, freeing, frightening, expansive journey.

If you find yourself struggling as you try to process all this insanity, you are not alone. No one talks about the darkness that accompanies awakening, or the GRIEF. Not only grieving the life and illusions you once had but the realization that almost everything you thought you once knew, is a LIE. The beliefs you’ve held, people you were taught to trust, principles you were taught- ALL LIES.

Shattering illusions is RARELY an enjoyable experience. There is a considerable amount of discomfort that comes with growth and the grieving process doesn’t stop there.  With these newfound realizations, you then find yourself grieving all over again.  Grieving the loss of many relationships with people who just don’t and won’t “get it.”

Feeling alone; being ridiculed and shamed, not only by the masses but for many of you, your very own family and friends too. Feeling like you no longer have much in common with the people you are surrounded by. Struggling with carrying on bullshit, shallow conversations that lack substance with those who are still fast asleep.  Even feeling disconnected from your entire support system because they can’t see what you see. Some even grieve the loss of their ignorance — because “ignorance is bliss” and reality is harsh.

Awakening can be a lonely road and you will often find yourself journeying alone.  There is no way to sugarcoat it – Awakening to the realities of this world is brutal. It will have you running through the entire gamut of human emotions.  You have to master the art of diving down the darkest of rabbit holes only to come out and still function in daily life, and that’s a skill people don’t talk about enough.

Some of you are struggling with feeling disconnected from family and friends, it’s as though they exist in another world.  Please know you are not alone, and not only are you not alone, you have an entire tribe standing with you. We may be separated by miles, but we are deeply connected; in purpose and in spirit”. (Author unknown)
Sharon wrote in response to this:
“When I read this I responded – Exactly, but it’s worth it because we will be creating the New Earth – and much sooner than you think.”

This is a time for a reset of our priorities.  We are blessed to have one another to love and care for and share life with. We are blessed by our Creator with a consciousness to know ourselves and each other; above all to know our Creator and share in the creation of our world. To serve God is a privilege not to be taken lightly or begrudgingly, but with a glad heart and an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. Though he slay me, yet will I love and trust him . . . the devil be damned.

I welcome your thoughts on the subject, which you can share with others by posting them in the comment section.  Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

Kenosis, Self-Emptying Love — “The Jesus Trajectory”

“It was not love stored up but love utterly poured out that opened the gates to the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Generosity of spirit is innate with everyone.  We are born to be givers.  This pandemic, along with hurricanes and wildfires, is bringing out the spirit of giving in us all, heralding in a new day and shaping a new world.  When I see it acted out in movies and news stories, I tear up with joy and longing for the return of generosity to our world.  A passage from my poet friend Don Hynes expresses what I feel today:

The old earth claws for purchase
   but the turning is profound,
   reaching from the furthest stars
   to the roots of trees,
   a new heaven poised beyond
   the horizon, beginning even now
   to shape the world anew.

This passage from Cynthia Bourgeault’s THE WISDOM JESUS touched a place in my heart of deep sadness for the state of the world mingled with profound love for this Man she honors and celebrates so exquisitely personal.  How little we know of his colorful character from the Four Gospels.  The Gnostic Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene give us a taste of his more candid expressions, some rather blunt and thought provoking:  “Whoever is near me is near the fire. Whoever is far from me (the fire) is far from the Kingdom.”  He was no gentle lamb, nor a “sweet Jesus.”  His generosity of spirit still shines through his words and deeds recorded in the New Testament, all of which were written down four to five decades after his departure, all from oral traditions.  Yet they inspire and compel us to be better and do better than we have been and done heretofore—even to be ablaze with love as he was.  Cynthia introduces this passage with poetry by Rumi:

Yet in the midst of suffering,
Love proceeds like a millstone,
hard-surfaced and straight forward.
Having died to self-interest,
she risks everything and asks for nothing.
Love gambles away every gift God bestows.

The Jesus Trajectory

The words above were written by the great Sufi mystic Jalalludin Rumi.  But better than almost anything in Christian scripture, they closely describe the trajectory that Jesus himself followed in life. He certainly called us to dying to self, but his idea of dying to self was not through inner renunciation or guarding the purity of his being but through radically squandering everything he had and was. John the Baptist’s disciples were horrified because he banqueted, drank, and danced. The Pharisees were horrified because he healed on the Sabbath and kept company with women and disreputables, people known to be impure. Boundaries meant nothing to him; he walked right through them.

What seemed disconcerting to nearly everybody was the messy, freewheeling largeness of his spirit. Abundance and a generosity bordering on extravagant seemed to be the signatures of both his teaching and his personal style. We have already noted this in two of his parables, where the thing that sticks in people’s craws is in each case the display of a generosity beyond comprehension that it can only be perceived as unfair. But as we look further, that extravagance is everywhere. When he feeds the multitudes at the Sea of Galilee, there is not merely enough to go around; the leftovers fill twelve baskets.  When a woman anoints him with expensive ointment and the disciples grumble about the waste, he affirms, “Truly, I tell you, wherever this good news is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will be told in remembrance of her” (Matthew 26:I3). He seems not to count the cost; in fact, he specifically forbids counting the cost. “Do not store up treasures on earth,” he teaches; “do not strive or be afraid—for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke I2:32). All will come of its own accord in good time and with abundant fullness, so long as one does not attempt to hoard or cling.

It is a path he himself walked to the very end. In the garden of Gethsemane, with his betrayers and accusers massing at the gates, he struggled and anguished but remained true to his course. Do not hoard, do not cling—not even to life itself. Let it go, let it be-“Not my will but yours be done, 0 Lord.  Into your hands I commend my spirit.”

Thus he came and thus he went, giving himself fully into life and death, losing himself, squandering himself, “gambling away every gift God bestows.” It was not love stored up but love utterly poured out that opened the gates to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Over and over, Jesus lays this path before us. There is nothing to be renounced or resisted. Everything can be embraced, but the catch is to cling to nothing. You let it go. You go through life like a knife goes through a done cake, picking up nothing, clinging to nothing, sticking to nothing. And grounded in that fundamental chastity of your being, you can then throw yourself out, pour yourself out, being able to give it all back, even giving back life itself. That’s the kenotic path in a nutshell. Very, very simple. It only costs everything.

Now, I wouldn’t say that Jesus was the first or the only teacher in the world ever to have opted for this more reckless and extravagant path, the kenotic way to full union. But it does seem that this was the first time such a teaching had ever been seen in the Near Eastern world, and along with its newness also came confusion. It was a concept so far ahead of its time that even Jesus’s closest disciples couldn’t quite stay with it. They’d catch it and they’d lose it. Paul catches it exactly in his beautiful kenotic hymn, then loses it in the long lists of rules and moral proscriptions that dominate his epistles. And as the church took shape as an institution, it could not exceed the wingspan of its first apostolic teachers; what they themselves did not fully understand, they could not hope to accurately transmit. Thus, as we will see in the next chapter, right from the start the radical simplicity of Jesus’s kenotic path tends to get roped back into the older and more familiar ascetic models, with a subtle but distinct dissonance that we will be keeping our eyes on.

“It only costs everything.”  Cynthia’s words in this passage take me back half a century to the awakening phase of my spiritual transformation.  I was in my late twenties, just starting up my chiropractic practice in Denham Springs, Louisiana, eager to give my gift to the world and hungry for patients to serve. The going rate for an office visit back then was $15, up from $5 a decade earlier.  Even with such a low fee, however, I felt restricted and handcuffed by the tradition of a “fee for services.”  What price can one place on health? On life itself? Health is priceless and life is a gift freely given by God to all human beings. It didn’t feel honest for me to place a price tag on my services, so I dropped my fees altogether and placed my services on a “giving basis.”  This launched me into the most rewarding and enjoyable fourteen years of my entire career. (This was before the widely available use of credit cards and insurance coverage of Chiropractic care.)

This way of serving wasn’t original with me but was already being successfully modeled by Dr. William H. Bahan and his brother, Dr. Walter Bahan, up in Derry, NH, who were seeing upwards of a hundred patients a day.  I began attending his seminars and discovering that there were a number of chiropractors practicing on a giving basis. Six years into this new way of serving—called “GPC” for God Patient Chiropractor—I wrote an article for ONTOLOGICAL THOUGHT, a journal of The Ontological Society, while attending an Art of Living Class conducted by the Universal Institute of Applied Ontology (the art of being).  The article is entitled “How Do You Live, Doctor?”  I’ll share it in my next post. Until then,

Be love. Be loved. Be for-giving.

Kenosis: The Path of Self-Emptying Love

IN THIS SERIES, I will explore the path of “Kenotic Love” as seen through the passionate heart and Christened mind of one of my favorite authors, Episcopal prelate Cynthia Bourgeault, who has rekindled in my heart an ecstatic love for the Man whom Mary Magdalene called “Rabboni”— and who knew her as his Beloved Companion — the romantic story about which I wrote a post back in August, 2018,  The Gospel of the Beloved Companion, which would be a timely read in this day of the rising Divine Feminine. Also my October post Fifth Way Love, A Romantic Path to Transformation.

In this post I will share excerpts from Cynthia’s book THE Wisdom Jesus — Transforming Heart and Mind.  This passage speaks to Jesus’s character and his message to humankind.  Christianity does not teach the Kenotic path that Jesus literally went down.

JUSUS

There has always been a strong tendency among Christians to turn him into a priest —“our great high priest,” in the powerful metaphor of the New Testament Letter to the Hebrews. The image of Christos Pantokrator (“Lord of All Creation”) dressed in splendid sacramental robes has dominated the iconography of both Eastern and Western Christendom. But Jesus was not a priest. He had nothing to do with the temple hierarchy in Jerusalem, and he kept a respectful distance from most ritual observances. Nor was he a prophet in the usual sense of the term: a messenger sent to the people of Israel to warn them of impending political catastrophe in an attempt to redirect their hearts to God.

Jesus was not interested in the political fate of Israel, nor would he accept the role of Messiah continuously being thrust upon him. His message was not one of repentance and return to the covenant. Rather, he stayed close to the perennial ground of wisdom: the transformation of human consciousness. He asked those timeless and deeply personal questions: What does it mean to die before you die? How do you go about losing your little life to find the bigger one? Is it possible to live on this planet with a generosity, abundance, fearlessness, and beauty that mirror Divine Being itself? These are the wisdom questions, and they are the entire field of Jesus’s concern. If you look for a comparable category today, the closest analogy would probably be the Sufi sheik who wields the threefold functions of wisdom teacher, spiritual elder, and channel for the direct transmission of blessing (baraka), in a fashion closely parallel to Jesus’s himself. The sheik is a distinctly Near Eastern category, and it probably best preserves the mantle that Jesus himself once wore. . . .

In order to go up one must first go all the way down.  For flesh to rise, spirit must first descend.  To ascend, one must fully incarnate.  I love how deeply Cynthia understands the kenotic path Jesus took.

THE PATH OF KENOTIC LOVE

SO FAR WE have been looking at Jesus as typical of the wisdom tradition from which he comes. An enlightened master recognized by his followers as the Ihidaya, or the Single One, he teaches the art of metanoia, or “going into the larger mind.” Underlying all his teaching is a clarion call to a radical shift in consciousness: away from the alienation and polarization of the egoic operating system and into the unified field of divine abundance that can be perceived only through the heart. But how does one make this shift in consciousness? It’s one thing to admire it from a distance, but quite another to create it within oneself.

This is where spiritual praxis comes into play. “Praxis” means the path, the actual practice you follow to bring about the result that you’re yearning for. I think it’s fair to say that all of the great spiritual paths lead toward the same center—the emergence of this larger, non dual mind as the seat of personal consciousness—but they get there by different routes. While Jesus is typical of the wisdom tradition in his vision of what a whole and unified human being looks like, the route he lays out for getting there is very different from anything that had ever been seen on the planet up to that point. It is still radical in our own time and definitely the “road less taken” among the various schools of human transformation. I will fill in the pieces of this assertion as I go along, but my hunch is that a good many of the difficulties we sometimes run into trying to make our Christianity work stem from the fact that right from the start people missed how different Jesus’s approach really was. By trying to contain this new wine in old wineskins, they inadvertently missed its own distinct flavor. In Jesus everything hangs together around a single center of gravity, and you need to know what this center is before you can sense the subtle but cohesive power of the path he is laying out.

What name might we give to this center? The apostle Paul suggests the word kenosis. In Greek the verb kenosein means “to let go,” or “to empty oneself,” and this is the word Paul chooses at the key moment in his celebrated teaching in Philippians 2:9-16 in order to describe what “the mind of Christ” is all about. Here is what he has to say:

Though his state was that of God, yet he did not deem equality with God something he should cling to.

Rather, he emptied himself, and assuming the state of a slave, he was born in human likeness.

He, being known as one of us,
humbled himself, obedient unto death,
even death on the cross.

For this, God raised him on high
and bestowed on him the name
which is above every other name.

So that at the name of Jesus,
every knee should bend in heaven and on earth and under the earth.

And so every tongue should proclaim
“Jesus Christ is Lord!” to God the Father’s glory.’

In this beautiful hymn, Paul recognizes that Jesus had only one “operational mode.” Everything he did, he did by self-emptying. He emptied himself and descended into human form.  And he emptied himself still further (“even unto death on the cross”) and fell through the bottom to return to the realms of dominion and glory. In whatever life circumstance, Jesus always responded with the same motion of self-emptying—or to put it another way, of the same motion of descent: going lower, taking the lower place, not the higher.

What makes this mode so interesting is that it’s almost completely spiritually counterintuitive. For the vast majority of the world’s spiritual seekers, the way to God is “up.” Deeply embedded in our religious and spiritual traditions—and most likely in the human collective unconscious itself—is a kind of compass that tells us that the spiritual journey is an ascent, not a descent. Most students of the wisdom tradition consider this upward orientation to be one of the foundational attributes of sophia perennis itself, its origins no doubt archetypal.  While my own work with the wisdom Jesus has led me to disagree, it is hard to deny that the idea of spiritual ascent has been around for a long, long time. In biblical tradition, the image of the spiritual ladder goes all the way back to the headwaters of the Old Testament, with the story of Jacob’s dream of the ladder going up to heaven. It is probably five thousand years old. Christian monastic tradition returned to this image and developed it still further, as essentially the roadmap for the spiritual journey. The seventh century teacher John Climacus (“John of the Ladder”) even took his monastic name from this powerful image, and through his influential teachings it became the underlying philosophy of monastic practices such as lectio divina and psalmody.

Ascent mysticism was very much in the air in Jesus’s time as well. Earlier in this book I spoke of the Essene community, that apocalyptic Jewish sect whose visionary mysticism and ascetic practices were probably the most immediate formative influence on Jesus. At the heart of the Essene understanding was a particular strain of spiritual yearning known as merkevah mysticism. Merkevah means “chariot,” an allusion to the Old Testament story of the prophet Elijah being taken up to heaven in a chariot. This dramatic episode offered a vivid image of ascent to God, which the Essenes saw as applying both individually and for the entire people of Israel. “The end of the world was at hand,” and all eyes were gazing intently upward as Jesus took birth on
the earth.

To rise requires energy, in the spiritual realm as well as the physical one. And thus, the vast majority of the world’s spiritual technologies work on some variation of the principle of “conservation of energy.” Within each person there is seen to reside a sacred energy of being (sometimes known as the “chi,” or prana, the life force). This energy, in itself infinite, is measured out to each person in a finite amount and bestowed as our basic working capital when we arrive on this planet. The great spiritual traditions have always taught that if we can contain this energy rather than letting it leach away—if we can concentrate it, develop it, make it more intentional and powerful—then this concentrated energy will allow us to climb that ladder of spiritual ascent.

This ancient and universal strategy is really at the basis of all genuine asceticism (that is, asceticism in the service of conscious transformation, not as a means of penance or self-mortification). And there is good reason for this: the strategy works. Through the disciplines of prayer, meditation, fasting, and inner witnessing the seeker learns how to purify and concentrate this inner reserve and to avoid squandering it in physical or emotional lust, petty reactions, and ego gratification. As self-mastery is gradually attained, the spiritual energy concentrated within becomes strong enough and clear enough to sustain contact with those increasingly higher and more intense frequencies of the divine life, until at last one converges upon that unitive point. It’s a coherent and powerful path of inner transformation. But it’s not the only path.

There’s another route to center: a more reckless path and extravagant path, which is attained not through storing up that energy or concentrating the life force, but through throwing it all away-or giving it all away. The unitive point is reached not through the concentration of being but through the free squandering of it; not through acquisition or attainment but through self-emptying; not through “up” but through “down.” This is the way of kenosis, the revolutionary path that Jesus introduced into the consciousness of the West.

THE PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS

I will leave you to ponder this original prayer of St. Francis, believed to be written by a French Franciscan and based on a little known admonition Francis wrote to his friars, according to James Twyman.

Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance.

Where there is patience and humility, there is neither anger nor disturbance.

Where there is poverty (simplicity) with gladness, there is neither covetousness nor greed.

Where there is quiet and meditation, there is neither concern nor wandering.

Where there is love of God to guard the house (cf. Lk. 11:21), there the enemy cannot gain entry.

Where there is mercy and discernment, there is neither excess nor severity.

I am deeply thankful to God for life, for health, for serenity of mind and peace of heart.  I am particularly thankful at this time of harvest when we celebrate Thanksgiving for the abundance of Mother Nature as she clothes the trees with new leaves in the wake of devastating hurricanes.  I am profoundly thankful for my companion in life, Bonnie Lee, and for all our family on the West Coast.  Thank you, Lord, for the gift of their presence in our life and in our world.  To my readers and blog followers, a heartful appreciation for traveling with me these past several rich years of sharing the meditations of my heart.  I always enjoy your responses.  Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved. Be Thankful

A Nuclear Community, Part 4: Collective Sovereignty

If you continue in my word . . . you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (Jesus)

Continuing from where we left off in the last post:  In her timely and important book THE RETURN OF KING ARTHUR, poet and spiritual author Diana Durham speaks to the tenuous phase in the transitioning from the old to the new paradigm of leadership in community.  Letting go of our former beliefs—particularly those about the model of leadership in community—in order to let go to and fully embrace the new world being born, can be daunting, and hesitation for too long could prove fatal. One could drown in the rising tide of change in the direction and speed of the currents in the river of life if one holds onto the familiar shore of the past.  The only sane thing to do is let go and swim out into the central current of the river.

Our beliefs about the truth—that the Spirit of God dwells within us, for instance, and that we are gods—are not the truth; they are but guides to the truth.  When we know the truth of our oneness with God, we move beyond our belief to knowing that I Am an aspect of that Divine Spirit.  We find freedom in knowing the truth, freedom from our beliefs. But oh how we love our beliefs and defend them with religious vigor:  “Oh no, I am not divine. I am only human.” Beliefs may need defending, and can be denied.  Truth, however, the Word of Life, needs no defense, and cannot be denied.  The Word of Life is “You are divine, made in the image and likeness of God, and in that Image and likeness you share the authority of God in speaking truth.”

Heretofore we have depended upon leaders and mentors to lead us in the truth.  That model is fading away, leaving many floundering in the dark waters of today’s chaos looking here and there for someone to tell them what to do and in what direction to go, what to hold onto.  Looking around, we only see our elected leaders floundering themselves in the rising tides of rebellion and protestation desperate to hold onto power and control of the masses; and our mentors are fading away, moving on from their earthly roles. The pews in churches are emptying in the wake of corruption among the clergy, and in Rome itself, and their failure to deliver the goods, even offer resolutions to moral issues, such as contraception and abortion, by which the Faithful are able to abide.  The churches are largely out of touch with the Faithful’s spiritual needs and moral issues in life.  They cannot teach what they themselves do not know—and know that they know.

Our leaders and mentors have traditionally been men . . . even holy men such as Buddha and Jesus.  Someone recently posed the question in a conversation we were having about abortion, “What would Jesus do?” Unfortunately (or fortunately), Jesus is not recorded as having said anything about abortion in the scriptures. His only answer to a crowd poised for stoning a harlot was “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”  Today we have many “good” people casting stones at “bad” people.

We’re left to decide our own course in the abortion controversy . . . and it is a conundrum that has found no resting place of resolution in the legal or legislative debates or courts of justice.  We are totally on our own solving this problem we ourselves have created.  A solution will not be forth coming without a fundamental change in human consciousness and subsequent change in human behavior.  Primarily a change in identity from human to divine.  We sometimes say “God only knows.” Well then, let us find our true identity in God and know and act with love in divine authority.

Rise of the Feminine

A very interesting turn of events takes place in the story of the Grail Quest Diana revisits in her book when Sir Bedivere finally yields to King Arthur’s command and lets go of the sword.  The dominant masculine energy that once empowered leadership from the top is met by the rising Feminine, who comes to take back her power (the sword of truth) in equal and balanced partnership with the Masculine, a very poignant and prophetic event in the story.  This is from chapter eleven, “The Chalice of Collective Sovereignty,” as excerpted from my book SACRED ANATOMY and the chapter on the spiritual significance of the Pituitary gland:

Speaking of her own personal transformation within the container of intentional spiritual community that went through a transformation itself in the wake of the passing of its spiritual God-parent and leader, Diana writes:

There is a great fear of losing the sword—a fear of losing the tradition and forms that have embodied the truth for us, and a desire to try to preserve them in some way—to disobey Arthur’s command.  Twice Sir Bedivere, that most loyal and trusted knight, tries to hide Excalibur before finally obeying Arthur and throwing the sword into the lake.  After all, if we don’t preserve the sword, we might lose everything . . . .

Very often this is the way. The injection of spiritual reality brought by the great avatar, like Jesus or Buddha, one who is able to pull the sword of power, of spiritual authority, back out of the stone of fixed belief and tradition and wield it as a living reality, is turned after their death into a religion, a series of beliefs, a tradition.  And people warm themselves on the little spark that still glows in the embers of that tradition, but they don’t inherit the mantle of spiritual radiance. They have not become entrained into the understanding of what it really means to “Worship God”; they have not completed the quest . . . .

. . . . Thanks to Guinevere and Morgana (the heart’s wisdom), Excalibur is not destined to become a sacred relic of past glory “stored in some treasure-house of mighty kings.” The heart’s instinctual knowing of what is right has overridden the fears and the structures of the mind, thus ensuring that Arthur’s true legacy—the legacy of potency, of truth, as represented by his sword— has become a living possibility available within the subconscious mind for us all to draw on.  It has not fossilized into a tradition for the elite to fight over—whether a political elite or a priestly elite; it is beyond the reach of corruption, and can only be accessed by the innocent and the true. Thanks to the quest for the Grail, thanks to the heart’s compulsion to take on one’s individual path and authority, the Round Table could become what it was a promise of.  Our network could be transmuted from a community into a new and potent consciousness of oneness.

This is why no matter which thread of the plot we retrace to uncover the cause of Camelot’s downfall, we find ourselves staring into the face of the feminine, whether it be the actions of Guinevere and Morgana or the quest for the Grail itself.  Only the heart’s wisdom knows how to take us from symbol to reality and carries the passion and assurance that will allow the “old order” to change and find renewal.

So we can begin to approach the meaning of the fulfillment of the Grail quest from a number of different—but related—angles. First of all, the finding of the Grail . . . means that the sense of personal separation from inner source—which I have also called the Grail King energy, love, or God—is healed.  Once this happens, our dependency on a King Arthur mentor figure ceases, and we begin to live our lives from a direct sense of what fits, of what is ours to do.  We can trust the compulsion of our heart because the heart realm is now operating as a direct “transmitter” of our own inner being and purpose.  In this way, the heart realm is the place of connection, or oneness, with God or spiritual source, and once that consciousness of union with source is a grounded reality within us—once the ego that thinks of itself as the center of the universe is no longer dominant—then there is a basis for connecting deeply with others. The heart realm becomes the means of connecting with others, with one’s “neighbor.” Therefore, we also begin to share a sense of oneness with one another, and a sense of being—hologram-like—parts of a whole that also contain in miniature the design of the whole.

The sense of oneness with others, combined with the ability to discern direction for ourselves, enables the other meaning of the Grail to emerge, which is the aspect of collective leadership: the circle of many individuals forming one body.

Collective leadership is not possible while we are still dependent on a mentor figure both for our own sense of spiritual alignment and for a sense of direction.  Nor is it possible unless there is a sense of oneness to bind us together—as well as the ability to discern for ourselves (as opposed to being subject to “peer pressure”) what our actions need to be.

We remember that the individual sword—or sense of authority—is earned by going on a quest for the Grail.  Perceval is given the sword on his first visit to the Grail Castle.  The return of Arthur in a form of the return of many individuals wielding their individual swords—in other words, the condition of collective leadership—cannot come about until the Grail is found and this collective consciousness is formed . . . .(pp. 203-206)

The Grail is found in the legends, and finding the Grail symbolizes not only the individual experience of open-hearted connection to spiritual source in oneself but also the emergence of the possibility of collective leadership.  When Sir Bedivere throws that sword into the lake, a woman’s hand reaches up to take it. A new opportunity has been fertilized: a new union between masculine and feminine, and the emergence of an era of collective sovereignty. When we talk about the rise of the feminine we are describing a crucial aspect of this new era. Obviously this new possibility has been emerging for some time in the form of the suffragettes and the women’s movement.  Closely allied with the struggle for equal rights for women was the civil rights movement in the United States. Leadership has been rising up from the grassroots, bringing immense changes and balancing out some of the injustices of society’s myopic structures. Collective leadership implies both the roundness of the chalice cup—without hierarchy, containing all—the feminine; and the absoluteness of the sword, the element of individual responsibility required for true leadership: the masculine. (pp. 6-7))

What Durham is describing here is a renewal process of the Pituitary Gland that appears to be underway, both within individuals and within the collective body of Man.  As these two energies find a way to work in harmony and balance within us as two in agreement, individually and collectively, the Spirit of the Womb can then work its hormonal and alchemical magic of renewal of life on the planet.  Paradise (Camelot) can then be restored.

Where the kingdom is, there also is the King. Paradise cannot be restored until Man is restored.  Man will be restored when he acknowledges and pays homage to the King of Heaven; when he turns his heart away from the material world and toward the King in utter abandon and worship—not in some separate heaven somewhere, but right here within himself where the Kingdom of Heaven abides patiently awaiting for us to repent, turn around and enter in.

In the Grail Quest story, when Perceval finally finds the Holy Grail, he was asked a test question, which he failed to answer correctly. The question posed was “Whom does the Grail serve?” If I recall correctly, the promise of the Grail was abundance of all that pleases and satisfies.  It seemed to Perceval, the simple fool that he was sitting there amongst the Knight of the Round Table, about to partake in the feast spread out before him, that the Grail serves human beings, and in that assumption he failed to answer the question correctly. The correct answer was, and still is: “The Grail serves the Grail King.” Having failed to give the right answer, he found himself outside the Grail Castle and in the company of an old hag who proceeded to list all his faults and shortcomings.

And so it befalls men and women in the realm of self-serving and self-pleasing human relations, where the Grail King is not allowed to drink and savor the sweet nectar of love from the Holy Grail of the Pure Heart of Humanity.  We judge and measure one another by our faults and shortcomings.  Perhaps I will find words to expand on this theme in my next post. I welcome your thoughts.  Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

A Harvest of Souls?

Rainbow Heart

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.” (Psalm 24:7)

Like a bar of soap when squeezed, we go in the direction in which we are pointed when the pressure is on. The pressure’s on like it’s never been before.  It’s not a time to look down, but a time to look up and go up.

If you’ve been feeling like leaving “this old world,” as I have been lately, then it may be that we are leaving it, or already have.  More to the point of this blog post, “this old world” has left you and is slowly fading away into oblivion to become but a bad memory. It is being replaced by the totally new world of a Golden Age.  Let go of “this old world” and let go to the New World now being born.

Fourth Density Energy Upgrade

Since the end of the Mayan Long Count Calendar in December of 2012, planet Earth has been upgraded from a Third Density to a Fourth Density planet.  Along with its sun and sister planets, our earth and entire solar system has undergone an upgrade in its energy field.  Fourth Density Energy is characterized by love, compassion and understanding.  Third Density Energy has been about true Self awareness. Now that we know who we are as divine beings, the next step is coming together as One Body to birth and build the New Earth on this planet that has just moved into a new cycle of evolution as part of a larger creative field of solar and galactic transformation.

Our solar system has moved into a greater energy zone of the Milky Way Galaxy, causing the leading edge of the Sun’s magnetic field to become 1000% brighter since the mid 1960’s, and new forms of charged particles to show up in this area in greater and greater amounts.  “Galactic dust” coming into our solar system has increased 300% since 2003, more dust in the Summer of that year than in all of the 1990’s.

More dust and more charged particles means more energy.  All of this evidence points to a frequency shift for the Earth and for all lifeforms on its surface, including our species. Things have heated up on planet Earth … and on more levels and dimensions than just its climate temperature, which is up in the three digits globally this Summer.  We’re in the transitional grip of the creative forces of fire and water which makes for a lot of steam.

Greater Intensity Of Love Substance

As noted in the previous post, there’s only one substance in all the Universe, and that’s the substance of Love. Energy is Love substance.  With the increase of energy and galactic dust bathing the planet, there is a greater density of Love substance, and an intensification in the radiation of Love.  With the intensification of the radiation of Love comes an increase in the response to the radiation of Love.  With an increase of response comes an acceleration in the phases of attraction and union.  The concentration and unification of the field of responding substance results in the unified field of radiation of Love. This is the wonder and miracle of the creative process.

For any of this wonder and miracle to have impact upon our world, the creative process needs to work unhindered through the hearts, minds. and bodies of human beings, in that order, with the heart leading the way up top opening the “window of heaven” to let the light of Love shine through and upon the earth and our world.

The Two Great Commandments

This speaks to the two “Great Commandments,” giving us the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, and the key that opens the door to the secrets of the Universe and of Creation.  Love is the Key that unlocks the portal of the human heart to let the love of the Creator come into his world—and let the refined substance of creation ascend as incense before his throne “set in heaven,” as the Beloved Disciple saw when he turned to “see” the voice that spoke with him.  There is much in that passage from Revelation to see and to take in, as I discovered when I set out to record my meditations in SACRED ANATOMY.

We say that Love is a refining fire, and so it is: the fire of transmutation.  The Creator loves this world and this world loves its Creator, and Man was created to facilitate this love affair, a love affair that compels two Lovers to seek union and the unified expression of their love–and it’s in and through our sacred hearts where these two Lovers meet and send forth their Love Light into the world.  The first requirement of us is that we love the Lord our God with all of our heart, all of our mind and all of our strength. The second requirement is that we love one another as ourselves.

I love the perspective Martin Cecil offered some years back in describing our twofold role as being that of re-presenting the Creator to creation and creation to the Creator.

This dual representation is based in the working of the Law. If we examine into the matter we will discover that it relates directly to the two great commandments. What is it that we represent to the Lord? We say we represent response.  But what is it really? Is it not the fulfillment of the first great commandment? We bring love to the Lord. This is what we represent to Him—love. We represent that love which is in all people as it centers toward that which is Divine, and by reason of this phase of love there begins to be the experience of God’s love for His creation. It is not that we rightly should concern ourselves immediately with trying to love His creation. We have noted this before. It is not a matter of trying to love each other, as though that were the first order of business. It isn’t. The first order, insofar as we are concerned, is to represent such love as there is present in human beings, to God. We re-present it to Him; in other words we return it to Him. This is the opening of the door, so that there may be the beginning experience of representing God—representing love to God’s creation all around us—and that is re-presenting it, giving God’s love to the people. So we see these two phases of love working here in a manner which establishes purpose. Of course the mere statement of this purpose doesn’t necessarily make it have meaning to human beings. There must be some experience with respect to it, the experience of representing others to God, representing only that which is of the true nature and character of love to God; and when we do that, immediately we find that the true nature and character of love is our own experience in expression to others. . . .

This is exactly the way transmutation takes place: by the radiation of Love, the refining fire, through the open and pure heart of mankind into the earth, the fullness thereof, the world, and the people that dwell therein. Just as the Sun’s fire heats up the water and evaporates it as steam that rises to the heavens, so also does the fire of Love in expression through the human heart transmute the substance of the earth that it may ascend to a higher level of being, a Fourth Density.

A Harvest of Souls?

This pandemic that has taken over our social life, our economy, our school system, and our entire lives, even our church activities, is taking its toll on lives, with hundreds dying by the hour both here and abroad.  One might be inclined to think that perhaps a “harvest of souls” is underway, as foretold by RA in The Law of One Series.  I will close with this excerpt from David Wilcock’s writings.*

Cosmic Changes and the Ascension Process

By now it should be easy to tell that this is the biggest event in human history, and it is entirely unreported by the mainstream news media.  No press outlet has ever combined two or more of these facts in the same story. Even if the media did figure it out, they probably wouldn’t want to say anything about it for fear of panicking the public. However, once we understand what is happening to us, we don’t need to be afraid of it. When the Earth fully moves into the fourth-density energy, we will naturally be transported into a higher level of our own being. Our physical body becomes irrelevant at that point. We are much more than that.

Soul Graduation

If you’re very attached to your physical body, you might say, “Well, what would I be without it?” You might see this as traumatic, but in fact your experience could be looked at as Soul graduation. People are saying, “I’m doing my spiritual growth. I’m doing my path. I’m walking in my truth. I’m trying to grow spiritually, I’m trying to evolve.” Evolve to what? Grow to what? Are we just going to keep reincarnating over and over again as humans? No.

Is the Earth going to remain in this vibrational level where human beings will blow up bombs, poison its waters, pollute its atmosphere, kill its creatures, and cut down all the trees? No. The Earth is not expected to go through this. The Earth is an evolving being, too. The difference with the Earth, unlike a regular human lifetime, is that it goes through a very premeditated, very obvious course of its evolution. As it orbits around the Sun, and as the solar system orbits around
the galaxy, the extraterrestrial races that are in higher dimensions know exactly when these changes are going to happen. That’s why they’re here now, because basically they’re aware that this is going on and are standing by to assist us.

For those who are ready to handle the vibrations, their physical bodies will be transformed into a higher density of vibration when the moment of change arrives. So it’s not as though there’s going to be all these fried corpses lying around. When the energy hits you, you transform. Your body will actually transmute itself, like what happened to Jesus–Ascension.

There is a parallel in the Shroud of Turin, where certain researchers have found that Jesus’ body burned a complete three-dimensional image of itself into the cloth. And they found through
experimentation that such a burn could only be caused by an instantaneous blast at a very high temperature, “zapping” the cloth like an X-ray film.

The Bottom Line

It would be so easy to miss this fantastic opportunity to participate in the evolution that is happening here and now on our planet. The media are bent on creating a reality where our happiness is contingent on the acquisition of new products. We seek the best jobs and the highest status as we succumb to the mass illusions of “consensus reality” and “winning the game.”

Each of us has the choice to create our lives so that we may participate in the Utopian world that will manifest on Earth after this Ascension process has completed—a world without poverty, hunger, or pain; a world where full-body levitation, spontaneous healings, instant telepathic communication, and abundant Love are the law of the land.

Some of these wonders are already occurring in human experience.  I believe a rather large portal has opened up in the heart of the body of mankind, compelled by this crisis, letting a flood of love light shine into this chaotic world.  I see simple acts of kindness and compassion on social media, and even in the news.  I feel a rising current of love response returning from the world spiraling upward during my meditations and in my long-distance attunement service.  I have a sensing in my heart that transmutation of the earth of our planet and of our physical bodies is underway.  We have entered a cycle of ascension to a higher frequency—and it won’t be stopped.

If you have any thoughts to share, I would love to share them. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved

The Garden of Consciousness — “As Above So Below”

🎶 This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine . . . Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. 🎶

Fig trees provide an archway in our back yard paradise

Co-creation At Home

The picture of our back yard above stands as a living example of how easily creation can unfold out of our consciousness where there is partnering with Nature.  Our yard didn’t always look so paradisal. It was totally destroyed back in 2005 when Hurricane Rita came through and uprooted our great sycamore tree and other trees in our back yard.  It was a surreal disaster.

At first, restoring our yard seemed an insurmountable task. Being a man and physician, I suggested we have a professional landscaper come in and “fix it.” Bonnie, on the other hand, wanted us to restore it ourselves, which we did—and it was fun doing it as we both loved working with the situation just as it was and expressing our creativity into it, which eventually transformed it into the garden spot it is today.  We did bring one of our sons, Leo, into the setting who contributed his carpentry skills into repairing the damage to our home—along with much-appreciated loving enfoldment and emotional support. Thank you again, Leo.

It took more time than a landscaper would likely have taken, but then we would have missed out on the joy of creating it together as ideas came to us, taking one task at a time. Realizing and implementing those ideas was a large part of the fun and joy. Then, watching Mother Nature take what we had accomplished and put Her finishing touches on it, we saw our yard grow and blossom as only She knows how. And now we have the pleasure of enjoying our little piece of paradise right here at home.

Here’s what our back yard looked like after the storm debris was cleared off.

And here’s our back yard today!

The Garden of Eden and The Garden of Paradise

I’ve been meditating on the biblical Garden of Eden, variously thought to have been located somewhere on earth. However, Eden may be considered more a heavenly garden than an earthly one; an internal garden rather than an external one. Paradise may be thought of as an external garden—an earthly paradise, which still exists in the pristine wilderness of this planet.

I’ve come to see the Garden of Eden as a Garden of Consciousness in which the seeds of Paradise are sown by the Creator.  Out of the Heaven of Divine Consciousness Paradise is born on Earth. We see it all around us in the God-made world of Mother Nature.

On the same basis, out of human consciousness is born the mind-made world of mankind into which we are born and live out our lives.  It’s simply the way creation works: from invisible heaven to visible earth. “As above so below.”

Our sun rises in the East as our planet rotates towards the future. It’s where the Garden of Eden is planted—by the LORD God.  I think this is important for us to understand.  Our today’s come prepared for us by the Lord: “This is the day which the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

We know that Man did not plant the Garden of Eden.  The LORD God planted this Garden.  Man was placed in the Garden of Eden to dress and keep it— not to seed it with his own ideas as to how the Earth should be created and utilized. The CREATING IDEA for the Earth is in the MIND of the Creator, planted in the Garden of Eden, in the sacred soil of Divine Consciousness, as seed for the creation of the Earth and for all the plants, creatures and critters that live on the earth. I see the earth as the Garden of Paradise, the physical manifestation of the Garden of Eden.

Original Man was the creation of Elohim, a council of Divine Beings, as we saw in an  earlier post.  Man, created male and female in the image and likeness of God, was endowed by the Creator with the privilege, and the responsibility, of participating with God in creation by dressing and keeping the Garden.

It would serve us well to remember what this privilege actually entails—and what it doesn’t.  To start with, it does not entail the right to plunder Paradise for our own self-serving pleasure and enrichment.  That is what caused the Fall, and what has maintained the separation of human consciousness from Divine Consciousness. What it does entail is aptly contained in words penned by Lloyd A. Meeker (Uranda): “Let love radiate without concern for results.”  In other words, I am responsible for maintaining an atmosphere of love in the Garden of Consciousness.

Spiritual Man was endowed with a consciousness of his own, which went with him when he left Eden and incarnated in physical man on earth—“fell into creation,” as one reader described it in a comment—and to this day he has cultivated it as a garden in which he plants his own seeds—the seeds of competition and discontent, of greed and envy, the seeds of war.  Basically the seeds that will bring forth the kind of world in which he wants to live with all the self-serving comforts and pleasures it can afford.  This world is not in harmony with the Natural world of Paradise, which the Creator maintains with minimal help from mankind.  It seems that man is determined to continue building his world on top of God’s world, slashing and burning it to make room to grow food for his belly, and drilling it to produce fuel for his machines.

The usurper and self-appointed ruler of human consciousness is the self-active human mind, which has assumed its own identity, the “human ego,” which many an ambitious leader has inflated in order to exercise power and control over others and the world, especially the world of Nature, Gaia’s Paradise, the cornucopia of the resources for life on Earth.  Even now he is eyeing the pristine National Parks of America with intent to harvest their hidden treasures of oil and minerals, Gaia’s very blood and bones. He has no respect for the Earth, nor for life.

Do I paint a too painfully accurate picture?  And do you detect a righteous tone in my words?  Perhaps it is because I do have a bit of righteous anger in my heart, tempered only by compassion for the deceived masses of humanity, as I look at what has become of mankind on Earth, and what a miserable and desperate condition we’ve created in human consciousness, out of which only misery and desperation can be born.  I use the word “righteous” in its literal sense of “right-use-ness,” of which there’s been a gross lack.  Little wonder Man ejected himself from the Garden of Eden, out of God’s Heaven, and separated himself from Divine Consciousness by his commandeering of the Creating Process.

And now we want to get back into Eden?  We can’t “get back” into Eden, at least not as we are in our fallen state of consciousness.  We have to welcome the Edenic state into our consciousness, then co-create Paradise out of that heaven.  Anything we might endeavor to do to create a Paradise on Earth is a waste of precious energy and resource without first letting Eden, Heaven, be restored to human consciousness.  The mind’s bright ideas haven’t worked in the past and there is no reason to think they will work now.  They only make living conditions on the planet worse.

Mankind may be like Man, but mankind is not Man.  Original Man is a spiritual being made in the image and likeness of God, who is Spirit, presently and temporarily incarnate in human form.  What we call “mankind” is a substitute for Man, a temporary creation “formed” from the dust of the ground, nevertheless used by an all-wise and merciful God as a means of incarnating on Earth in order to steer the evolutionary process of Restoration.

This is what I see underway on Earth in our day—has  been since the Fall.  It has taken this long for the evolution of human consciousness to reach a level of transformation that is sufficiently enlightened to accommodate the conscious emergence and revelation of incarnate angelic hosts through the bodies of as many human beings as are willing and transmute them in an apocalypse of Light.

It has also taken this long—after at least two failed opportunities—for the vibratory conditions in the energetic field of our planet and solar system, as well as cosmic factors in our relation, for example, to the constellations of Orion and The Pleiades, and our position in the energy belts of our Milky Way Galaxy, for the Restoration to be at all possible.  We are here, along with countless heavenly hosts, to steward this process so that Man can be restored to God and return to the Garden of Eden, where we will co-create with God a Garden of Paradise for and on the New Earth. It is why we incarnated. We are the appointed ones to get the job done.

I sense that time is at hand.  As I sat out with Bonnie in our paradisal back yard this evening, I felt a powerful wave of peace move through my body, moving across the entire globe.  I feel it even now as I write. Something of cosmic proportion is happening in the solar system, in the earth and in the body of Humanity. A New Heaven is descending upon human consciousness—the Heaven of Divine Consciousness—and already sown in its fecund soil are the vibrational seeds that hold sacred the patterns of design and control for the New Earth, along with instructions on how we are to go about co-creating Paradise here on earth.

In order to make room for the “New Jerusalem” descending from God out of Heaven, we must unclutter our consciousness of all the accoutrements and pabulum of the mind-made world to prepare our hearts to receive it.  John the Beloved describes it as “the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God our of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” In other words, as one who is loved with all of one’s heart, all of one’s mind, and all of one’s strength.

Shining the Light of Love

At the moment we are facing “darkness upon the face of the deep.” Just as darkness was upon the face of the deep in the Beginning, so is the New Earth emerging in a shroud of darkness. Darkness is the condition in which the seeds of change gestate and develop, out of sight and mental observation that typically leads to judgment and temptation to interfere.  I suspect that as the New Heaven gives birth to the New Earth, it will be unlike anything we’ve ever imagined or expected.  I pray we will not fall for the temptation to judge it as it evolves and interfere with the Creating Process, but let it be what it is and simply shine our “little light” into the darkness.  All creating cycles move toward oneness, from love—and already I see the Light of a New Dawn shining in the darkness; shining through emissaries of Light Divine throughout the world, angels coming forth in expression.

Let love radiate without concern for results.  As we are faithful to this one important and pivotal role, we can be assured that there will be results, and we will be surprised and greatly blessed, as will the Earth.

Paradise, as I said, is still materializing on Earth. There are still parts of the planet that have not been consumed by man and left barren.  Therefore there is a harmonious chord of synergy between Heaven and Nature manifesting beauty and sustainability with which we may partner, synchronize our life styles, alter the course of devolution and extinction of our species, and halt the total destruction of Paradise.  As we attune to the harmonious music of Mother Nature and dance to her rhythms and seasons, She welcomes us back and gladly accommodates our metamorphosis and restoration to the Creator of the heavens and the earth.  She awaits our return, and the return of her Beloved Creator to her Garden.

We are not alone in the process of transformation.  The entire Universe is with us as we turn around—the literal meaning of repent-–from our downward spiral to a dying exit from this earthly plane and start our journey back to Eden and an upward spiral that takes us back Home by way of ascension. No one need suffer or perish. We are loved more than we will ever know by the One who desires nothing more than to come into His Garden here on Earth, filled with peace and the fine substance of love. Love for this One with our all, and love for one another as our Self, is the only true way our personal and collective garden of consciousness can be prepared to receive the New Heaven for the New Earth.

I welcome any thoughts you may have. Until we meet again on this blog,

Be love. Be loved.
