Steps of Ascent 1: Fusing Flesh with Spirit

When two substances vibrate together at the same rate of frequency, they fuse into one substance.

I would like to complete this cycle of sharing from my book SACRED ANATOMY in my blog.  In this post, I visit the final chapters where I meditate on the process of transmutation of flesh and ascension to higher levels of vibration, in some instances where the “rainbow body” is experienced.  The way of ascension is available and open to those who seek that path.  I am such a seeker.  Here is an excerpt from the last chapter of my book.  I think you will enjoy reading it.

STEPS OF ASCENT

LET US COMPLETE our meditative journey through the sacred anatomy of the body temple with a final meditation on the steps of ascent that can take us, individually and collectively, into the garden state within, where we would know our oneness with God while we are incarnate in these flesh temples. I will start by returning to the very beginning of this writing.

What if, indeed, we could travel through all the dimensions of the seven planes of being; if there were no veil between heaven and earth; and if we could ascend back up into the Realms of Light and return to this plane once we had rejuvenated our bodies and souls.

As we have just finished considering at length, the love-technology, chemistry and alchemy to enable this process are already available to us in our sacred anatomy.  All we need do is take the steps leading to absolute and total attunement with love so that our bodies absorb the radiation of love so fully that they become as radiant as love itself. All we need do is utterly abandon ourselves to the Father’s will within and let love work its wonderful magic upon our hearts, our minds and our bodies.

The technology of love is inherent in what I have spoken of as the Creative Process, sometimes referred to as The Divine Formula: radiation, response, attraction, union, unified radiation.  The irresistible attraction of love, the Father within, will do all the work of drawing us upward into the Garden state.  Our work is to take the steps leading into the Temple of Light where oneness is known with the All and with all of Creation.

Fusing Flesh with Spirit

RESONANCE with the vibration of love induces the processes of resurrection and ascension.  There is a law of physics which states that when two substances vibrate together at the same rate of frequency, they fuse into one substance. The Universal Entity within which we are contained—and yet, strangely, from which we feel so separate—sounds the Tone that summons all resonant substance out of chaos and into order.  This Tone is conveyed to all things in the universe through the connecting substance of what I will call “pneumaplasmic space” and is carried through tissue by the current of life itself.  [The word pneumaplasm was coined by Lloyd A. Meeker (Uranda) to identify the substance of connection between spirit and flesh that provides a medium for the transmission of life’s designs and instructions for creating and maintaining our body temples.]

When the body oscillates at the same frequency as this Tone, which is differentiated into seven frequencies, as with light, the two become one.  Light, or spirit, no longer remains silent and invisible, and form no longer remains mere physical flesh.  Spirit is seen and experienced as radiating through flesh and flesh as transparent substance.  An entirely new and different state of being is known when flesh fuses with spirit.

Now, what that is is yet largely unknown for all practical purposes.  However, it is certainly not mere theory and speculation any longer.  From my own personal though very limited experience, it is entirely knowable and, in fact, known in isolated human experience, including the Master Jesus’s experience as it has been recorded and handed down to us.

ATTUNEMENT is a technology of love and as such a sacred healing art purposed for facilitating transformation, resurrection, transmutation and ascension—essentially the fusion of flesh with spirit.  In the attunement process, the molecules that make up the cells of the body are drawn upward to resonate with the vibration of love.  All the molecules of the body are obedient to the commands of love as they are sent forth into the body-temple by the Seven Spirits of Love, which are energetic vibratory forces operating through the seven endocrine glands and their many and varied hormone crystals, which, as we have seen, carry the vibrational directives of spirit in the form of light to the body cells.

As the attunement practitioner works with the seven endocrine glands and corresponding Chakra centers, attuning them and bringing them into a state of coherence within themselves and into harmony and balance with one another, the Seven Spirits, or vibratory forces of the Spirit of Love, find clearer and, therefore, more potent focus.  Rarified substance of pneumaplasm begins to accumulate and fill the sacred space between spirit and flesh, providing a medium for the propagation of the Tone throughout the entire body-temple. The differentiated Tone goes forth creating harmonics throughout the body-temple manifesting as health and wellness.  Flesh is imbed and fused with Spirit.

This is a technology anyone may learn and utilize as a spiritual practice in uplifting the vibratory frequency of the physical body so as to make it more available to the process of attraction and union with one’s own incarnate Divine Being.  A simple act of kindness or an expression of thankfulness generates this substance as well.

Further, each one of us oscillates to the Tone in unique sets of harmonic frequencies.  A perfect analogy of this can be readily enjoyed while listening to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, or some other choral group.  Here one may hear voices ranging from high soprano to deep bass, and, although they are all singing at least in four-part harmony and blend together in their parts to create ideally a pure and single sound as though it were one voice singing each part, if you listened to each voice individually you would discover that no two of them are alike. Each one has its own unique quality of tone and resonance, as well as projection and penetration.

Well, one might argue, these differences in vocal capacity and pitch are determined by hormones and resonant structures in the vocal apparatus and cranial bones and so forth, and  I would agree.  But what force and design determines the number and varying combinations of hormones used in the growth and development, and further refinement and playing, of the artist’s musical instrument, which the body is to the incarnate angel?  It is spirit, of course, and each one of us is unique.

Here is something you can do right now to find your own uniqueness of spirit and tonal frequency. Come to a place of stillness and quiet and listen for those harmonic tones as they vibrate in the inner and inaudible spaces within.  They are often felt in the thymus region just over the heart.  There will be a dominant tone sounding above all the rest in each one, depending upon which endocrine gland is dominant in the individual—and there is a dominant endocrine gland in each one of us.  When you find that tone, begin sounding it, softly and then loudly. Notice how you feel as you sound it.

Now place your open hands on your lap about six inches apart with palms facing one another to create an energy ball. Then go to a part in your body that hurts or is ill and place an image of that part inside the energy ball.

The key here is to be still and sense which part of your body has a certain pressure within it seeking, as it were, to find release. Now, allow yourself to enter into that place of pressure in your body, wherever it may be, and listen carefully to what is going on in this space, naming the color, taste and even the smell of what you feel.

Initially, one may feel emotional patterns of grief or deep frustration and self-pity, even worry and anxiety. That is all right. That is what is present in this particular space.  Now, go ahead and start groaning with your voice, perhaps just sighing or breathing deeply and fiercely at first.  Let those deep feelings be vented outward through whatever sounds they may naturally make.  (You might wish to be somewhere private where no one will hear you and think you are in distress or something.)  Do not be surprised or alarmed if you start crying without seeming cause.  Keep on letting the flow of the feeling currents translate themselves into audible sounds.

Now, gently move those harsh sounds upward a pitch or two until they become more coherent and you reach a pitch that just locks in and holds your voice in an easy but strong release of sound.  Hone in on that sound so that it becomes more clear and beautiful.  Then just pour out your spirit of unconditional love and acceptance of yourself and your feelings through that clear and beautiful note.  Soften it a bit and just enjoy playing around with it.  Listen to it lovingly, because that is your own unique resonant expression of the Tone that orchestrates the entire Universe.  It is your resonant tone, or at least a close relative harmonic of it.  Sing some of the other harmonic notes and create “your song.”  Obtain a quartz crystal bowl tuned to that pitch, or one of its harmonics, and play it as you sing your song. Use this to help fuse your spirit with your body, your Self with your incarnating equipment, your harp.

As you become more adept in utilizing this simple technique of toning, you will actually begin to feel lighter physically and your flesh will feel as though it were glowing with light.  That is because it is.  This is magic—white-light magic—and it is fun and practical as well.

Now, one can team up with a friend and have a lot more fun harmonizing your individual tones. Two people make an entirely new configuration of harmonic possibilities. Add a third and a fourth and still further possibilities of harmonic chanting are possible. As the numbers in the group change, so do the overall harmonics change creating a unified expression of a single sound. Perhaps this is an echo of the “sound of many waters.”  Notice it is not plural.  It is a single consolidated blend of sound of many waters that make audible the silent Tone that plays all of our instruments at the same time from one Core of Being. In that place at the Core of Being we are one.  We are the One. This is the essence of true community. ♦

I will tell you about an amazing experience of group toning in my next post. Until then,

Keep toning.

SACRED ANATOMY: The Pineal Gland–Cornerstone of the Temple

“The physical body is Real and beautiful beyond words to describe. It is wonderful beyond all the imaginings of mankind. In it are revealed the secret things of God.  Through it work the Cosmic Forces of the Universe.”—Uranda

THE PINEAL BODY

The Spirit of Love

Between the two hemispheres of the brain, below the posterior portion of the corpus callosum — the thick tissue connecting the two lobes of the cerebrum which hover over this inner sanctum like two arched wings — is a hallow space called the “Cave of Brama.”  In this cavity, enthroned atop the corpora quadrigemina — four small eminences on the back side of the brain stem serving as relay stations for auditory and visual impulses — is a small protuberance called the Pineal Body, or epiphysis cerebri.  Its pinecone shaped head, from which it derives its name, points back toward the “arbor vitae” (tree of life) of the cerebellum in the occipital cavity of the cranium.

Situated in the exact position of the Divine Proportion of the Golden Mean (.618 the distance on a line drawn from the front of the brain to the rear, and from the top of the skull to the bottom), behind and slightly above the level of the Pituitary Gland, the Pineal is about the size of the first digit of your little finger.  Its functions, however, are vast and relate primarily to the natural rhythms of the body.  It produces hormonal crystals, such as melatonin and serotonin, which synchronize the body’s circadian rhythms regulating some physiological activities, such as the sleep cycle, with the rotational cycles of the earth, as well as regulating blood flow to the brain, thereby influencing behavioral patterns and mental activity.  –The Pineal Gland located at the Golden Mean of the Divine Proportion of the Brain —

The color frequency of the Pineal is Violet correlating with the seventh wavelength of the light spectrum.  Violet is a passionate color and I wonder if perhaps, it isn’t here in the “seventh heaven” where our sense of deep passionate love for truth and for life itself is most deeply known.  This color also represents the purple garments of royalty befitting a king, and is not Love, rightly, the benevolent King and ruler of our hearts and of this whole holy world?  I perceive its musical pitch to correlate with F Natural. (This pitch shifted to a higher frequency of F# sometime during the dawning of the 21st century.)

As with all the endocrine glands, the Pineal is ductless and therefore secretes its hormones directly into the blood stream.  Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 are nutrients which support the health and function of the pineal gland.

The “Third Eye”

In former times the Pineal has been called by various names.  In the fourth century the Greek philosopher, Herophilus said it was the “sphincter of thought,” or the “origin of thought.”  Indian mystics said it was the “third eye,” the “eye within” and the “contemplative eye.”  Rene Descartes, the sixteenth century French philosopher, said the pineal was the “seat of the soul,” the seat of our consciousness.  Science, on the other hand, called it the pineal body, when no one understood what its functions were or if indeed there were any. For a while it was called the pineal gland and in the last decade it has been called the pineal organ because of its direct connection with the brain in producing its primary hormone, melatonin.

Lawrence Blair, in his book Rhythms of Vision in Chapter 6 entitled “The Subtle Anatomy of Man,” says there is a debate as to whether the “third eye” can be attributed to the Pineal or to the Pituitary, or as he states it:

…to the Brow or to the Crown Chakra; it is perhaps a somewhat academic point but I personally favor the Crown as being its most likely location. The corresponding physical organ, the pineal, is known to contain vestigial retinal tissue, and its structure is likened by modern physiology to a third, albeit atrophied, photo-receptor.

A further interesting physiological fact is that the pituitary gland (or the Brow Chakra) is connected to the left eye and governs the lower half of the brain, whereas the pineal expressing the Crown Chakra, is connected to the right eye and governs the upper half of the brain.

Perhaps no one has written with as much detail and insight about this little gland as has Dr. Jacob Liberman, optometrist and pioneer in the therapeutic use of light and color,  and the art of mind-body integration.   Dr. Liberman’s work has centered around developing a way for treating the cause of human ailments—physical, mental and spiritual— with light and color. In his brilliant book, Light: Medicine of the Future,  Dr. Liberman integrates the biochemical, psychological and spiritual properties of light.  He says the awareness of how light and color affect our lives was expounded upon as far back as 1840 by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose dying words suggested that  the “second shutter”  be opened in order to let “more light come in.”  He was not referring to the window blinds, but rather to the third eye” of the pineal gland.  Three different eyes were thought to exist: the flesh eyes for visual perception of light, the “eye of reason,” or “mental eye” and the “contemplative eye,” which Goethe says, “appreciates God.”  Dr. Liberman suggests that we must “integrate our vision to incorporate all the three eyes, as well as opening up the second shutter, but in doing so, we begin to open up our vision in a way that opens up our lives.”  Further, he cites Jonathan Swift’s insightful words, who wrote, “‘Real vision is the ability to see the invisible.’”   Liberman’s view is that by integrating these three eyes, we can experience what otherwise seems invisible.

Dr. Liberman explains how the average individual perceives only a small fraction of the stimuli coming at them from the environment.  “My personal experience is that as the inner eye opens, as we begin to see what at one time we felt was invisible, we tune into a broader spectrum, not only of the electromagnetic spectrum, but of the subtle energies that are not even within this electromagnetic spectrum.”   The word subtle relative to energies speaks to me of spiritual or ethereal light; that which is behind and before solar light and fills the spaces between the elements of the molecular world.   We are speaking here of the substance of love which creates a bond between us and with the natural world around us.

Speaking of the primary function of the Pineal Body, Liberman attributes the very primal instinct of bonding between individual life forms, such as between parent and child, to the all encompassing role of the Pineal.  “This bond,” he writes, “thought to develop out of the ‘heart-to-heart’ synchronization between mother and child, is a microcosm of humanity’s synchronized relationship with nature and the rest of the universe.”

Acting much as a light meter and physiological metronome attached to the physical eyes, the Pineal relays information received through the hypothalamus about the outside world of space and time, such as the length of the days and the seasons of the year,  to the body and the mind by way of hormonal messengers, alerting the body to the need to generate changes. These hormones alter moods, circadian (twenty-four-hour) rhythms and seasonal reproductive cycles so as to synchronize with changes in the natural world with which we are connected.

Dr. Liberman continues:

The timing of physiological events is very critical to the health and propagation of a species.  Since the pineal gland seems to adjust the entire physiology of organisms to their environment, the physical size of this gland seems to vary according to where animals live.  Thus, the pineal is relatively small in animals living at or near the equator, whereas its size increases proportionately the further north or south of the equator animals live.

In certain species, such as the elephant seal, the pineal gland at birth occupies 50% of the brain.  If the size of the human pineal gland is directly related to the degree to which living creatures are in touch with their environment, does the size of the human pineal (pea size) indicate something about the state of our consciousness?  Would a change in our consciousness, and a closer connection between us and nature, increase the size of our pineals?  Whatever the answer to these questions, respect for nature by all living creatures is not only a moral necessity but is definitely crucial to the longevity and quality of life. . . .  In creatures such as birds, lizards, and fish, light stimulates the pineal by penetrating directly through the skull.  In many reptiles, the pineal has all the photo-receptive elements characteristic of an eye. It is therefore referred to as a “third eye” because, in many creatures, it resembles an eye in both structure and activity.  However, in humans, as well as in all hairy creatures, light stimulates the pineal exclusively by way of our eyes, therefore making it an integral part of the visual system.  The technical name of the pineal is epiphysis cerebri, which literally means “top of the brain.” It is my belief that humans originally also received light stimulation through the top of the head, as is vividly described in many metaphysical and ancient spiritual writings. This indicates that at one point in human evolution, perhaps prior to the development of the brain hemispheres, the pineal may have actually been positioned at the top of the human brain. . . .  Today, the pineal is recognized as playing a major role in every aspect of human function.  It acts as the “regulator of regulators.”  Aside from its documented effects on reproductive function, growth, body temperature, blood pressure, motor activity, sleep, tumor growth, mood, and the immune system, it also seems to be a factor in longevity. (pp. 31-33)

Whatever the evolutionary history of this tiny gland, its very existence appears to haunt us, as little was known of its purpose and function until recently.  Although it has tended to be rejected as having any significant role to play in the body,  it has been discovered that it plays an intimate and vital role with the eyes.  I suspect at one time—perhaps before “the Fall” when Man lived in the Garden of Eden—it served as an internal eye, a vibrational “window of heaven,” through which we were able to “see” into the realms of light, into heaven, and communicate daily with the LORD God.

–The Pineal enthroned atop the Corpora Quadrigemina–

Considering its makeup of retinal tissue and its close association with the corpora quadrigemina with its relay stations for auditory and visual impulses, one can even imagine how the Pineal may have served as a transmitter of sorts by which we heard the heavenly sounds of angelic voices singing in the realms of light.

I like to think of the Pineal Body as the throne of deity on earth, the deity of divine being,  a remarkably exact reflection of the “throne set in heaven” John describes in the Book of Revelation in the Bible, even  down to the fine details of  the “four beasts full of eyes before and behind,” the significance of which we shall explore shortly.

Of the seat of the soul Uranda says this:

Meditation upon the Cosmic Principles of Light, Love and Life, keeping the attention centered in the Seat of the Soul—that is, IN the Throne of thy Father within thee, in the center of thy head— seeking the while to detect the INFLOW of Cosmic Vibrations through thy hair, followed by the OUTFLOW through thy WHOLE body in a glorious  Radiance of the Christ in which thy WHOLE, HOLY BEING is enfolded, will speed thy conscious comprehension of the ONE TRUTH that thou art ONE with the ALL that is ONE.   (Steps To Mastership, Lesson 43)

An excellent pineal attunement technique is toning with one’s focus in the forehead where the “third eye” is sending out radiant beams of light. Toning a high pitch will resonate with the high frequency of this sacred energy center.

I welcome your thoughts and inspirations. I will continue in my next post with a consideration of the spiritual significance of the Pineal gland as the focus for the Spirit of Love. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

Sound — Carrier Wave for Intention

When I am in my Sacred Heart my world and all those in it are there with me and my Father.  They are flooded and bathed in His love.

While sharing attunement long distance today with a dear and faithful friend who was working with ancestral past issues that needed healing and peaceful resolution, I was keenly aware of our oneness within the tangible substance of love.  Love has no limitations when it comes to geographical distance.  Whatever my friend needed to have transpire in her world had a loving surround within which to heal and resolve.  This constitutes my sole role and purpose in offering attunement, close in or from a distance — to provide a loving enfoldment in my healing hands and let love work its magic without concern on my part for results.  The outworking is always perfect and magical.

To create a healing field for transmitting and extending the current of sacred energy, I use sound. Powered by a passionate desire to serve and provide a blessing, sound is the perfect carrier wave for spirit and consciousness.  Sound is a creator tool.  It carries intention where unto it is sent to set heavenly design and purpose in form.

Through attunement with love, we answer the question posed to Job from out of the Biblical whirlwind: “Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven?  Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?”   (Job 38:33)

Occasionally, after an attunement, a curious client will ask if I felt anything, perhaps hoping for some insight into what may be ailing them.  Funny how we tend to suspect  something’s not quite right inside our bodies, a latent disease perhaps that hasn’t manifested symptoms just yet.   I usually say something that will point the client in the direction of life: “I felt a strong current of life moving through your body.”

Actually, what I focus my sense of perception on are the subtle ordinances of heaven, the patterns of health and wholeness in life itself, landing and being set in the earth of the physical body . . .  and sound is part of the technology the Creator uses to convey and set those ordinances.  I like what noted American journalist, George Leonard, author of Silent Pulseso eloquently wrote about sound:

At the root of all power and motion, there is music and rhythm, the play of patterned frequencies against the matrix of time. More than 2,500 years ago, the philosopher Pythagoras told his followers that a stone is frozen music, an intuition fully validated by modern science; we now know that every particle in the physical universe takes its characteristics from the pitch and pattern and overtones of its particular frequencies, its singing. And the same thing is true of all radiation, all forces great and small, all information. BEFORE WE MAKE MUSIC, MUSIC MAKES US.

We could paraphrase that last sentence and declare: “BEFORE WE MAKE LOVE, LOVE MAKES US.”  Unfortunately, “making love” is a phrase that is commonly associated with human sexual activity. As we know, Love is not “made” at a physical level of sexual intimacy between human beings.  Love is first “made” in the heart, the Sacred Heart.  Actually, love is not “made,” is it? Love is eternally present everywhere.  My point here is that Love makes us, and it does so in its own image and likeness.  We are love.  I am love.

Coming back to sound, I find recorded sound very useful in creating a carrier wave for heavenly ordinances.  World renown sound guru Jonathan Goldman has produced some very powerful CD’s of sacred sound.  I use and recommend his Ultimate Om and his award winning The Divine Name,  available on his website http://healingsounds.com.  You can listen to his CD’s on his website to see which one resonates with you.

I also use and recommend Deborah Van Dyke’s Chords of the Cosmos for recordings of quartz crystal bowls being played on thirteen 5-minute tracts in triads of sacred harmony for balancing the energetic fields of the endocrine glands with their complementary chakras and with the cosmic energies of the zodiac.  She has some great CD’s for meditation and transformation, such as her Traveling the Sacred Sound Current.  She is a beautiful muse and powerful angel of sacred sound.  I know you will love and cherish her CD’s, as I do.

After 45 years as a chiropractor and nutritional therapist, I’ve come to realize that my real love is music – second only to attunement – and not healthcare.  Healthcare earns me a decent living and puts bread on the table, but music and attunement bring nourishment to my soul.

Discovering the relationship between music and attunement has been a delightful process of awakening to the secrets hidden within the mystery of life itself.  There is so much more that we haven’t yet even begun to discover and revive, much less utilize, in the magical field of what is being called “sound healing.”  This is a misnomer, as sound doesn’t do the healing of itself but merely provides a carrier wave for the healing currents of Love.  Only Love heals.

When I use sound to convey the healing currents during attunement sessions, I am transported in consciousness to a magical temple of the sacred healing arts that has never been destroyed in heaven.  It was in magnificent form on earth at one time in the ancient past, and it will be in form again. . . when we are ready to honor it and use it to fulfill sacred purpose.   This is what I came to bring, and I will hold it in my Sacred Heart as a seed if only for my time here.  In the meantime, anyone with clean hands and a pure heart can visit this temple and enter in to work with its divine technology.

Sound is a powerful energy.  Self-serving humans only hurt themselves and create chaos with sound.  Musicians of today, and those who frequent their loud concerts, have destroyed their delicate hearing mechanisms — not to mention the noise they send out into the world that creates chaos. Ear phones are dangerous in this regard, as are cell phones with ear pieces.

Sound is a creative force . . . and it will manifest the intention sent forth upon its waveform.  It does manifest it.  Look around and behold what has manifested over the years and continues to be maintained.

There are those musicians and bands who are sending out positive and transforming intention upon the waveform of their music. These I acknowledge and celebrate.   If you know of some such groups and concerts you’ve attended, I would appreciate hearing from you.  Thank you.

Sound is a carrier wave for intention.  Let it be used for sacred purpose to bless and uplift . . . to create the New Earth.

Thank you for reading my blog.  Till my next post,

Be love . . . be loved.

The Power of your Sacred Heart

The heart is the soul’s gateway, both into life and beyond into eternity.  The heart is the timeless and indestructible source of all higher knowledge. It is the one point within each person where the inner and outer forces are the same.  Within the heart, the will of God and your own may be brought into harmony”   — Jesus

Continuing my book review and sharing of Glenda Green’s inspiring book, Love Without End —  Jesus Speaks, the author contemplates in her chapter “The Heart is Your Higher Intelligence” the historical celebrations of the heart, such as on Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and other holidays on which we celebrate some aspect of our heart’s devotion.  Then there’s country music which raises verse and song to the broken hearts . . . and the subsequent need for counselors to fix them.  “How little,” she writes, “we know about its fullest and truest meaning.”

She then cites medical evidence and scientific data concerning our physical heart: “…physicians report that the physical organ has never been stronger, which accounts for our larger bodies and greater longevity. Yet, at the same time, heart disease is still on the best seller list of tickets to Heaven!  The physical heart is a life-giving organ, with deep and wonderful resources, most of which have yet to be discovered.”

Our physical hearts exemplify innocent perception and awareness.  Just consider how, for instance, without judgment, complaint, or condemnation it pumps clean and dirty blood through its chambers with equal vigor and blessing. Sort of inspires me to have a more non-judgmental attitude toward what the River of Life brings through me and my world for blessing and passing on to other members in the larger body of Man, the Body of our Creator.

Speaking of the physical heart, Glenda also cites Oriental medicine and philosophy for bringing to our awareness “an important and wonderful energy field which surrounds both our bodies and our physical hearts, and every day more evidence is surfacing that this complex and intricate field of electrical energy is a life enhancing source to the physical heart.”  She cites acupuncture for revealing deeper and more pragmatic evidence of this energetic field in its exploration and therapeutic use of the meridians in and around the body, opening a door to “alternative” or “complementary” medicine’s debut into western science and healthcare.

Moving from the physical heart to the psychological perspective of the heart,  modern psychology has introduced the now popular view that there are “right-brained” and “left-brained” approaches to life, the right-brained people considered “heart people,” who are “more intuitive, emotional, empathic and responsive, while, in contrast, left-brained people are more logical, analytical, competitive and initiatory. This dichotomy,” she suggests, “is often carried to the extreme of referring to ‘heart people’ as feminine and ‘logical people’ as masculine.”  She lends a certain amount of credibility and truth to these observations based solely on the “bicameral nature of the brain.” The real truth, she offers, lies in the “reflection such limited assumptions cast upon  the culture in which we live….  In our culture, the heart has generally been considered  the emotional, empathic, intuitive, and feminine side of our being.  The complete spectrum of the heart’s power has been missed by most people. All of the above considerations about the heart are important and valid, yet each alone is incomplete.  Even taken collectively, they do not equal the Sacred Heart of which Jesus spoke.”

Here is what Glenda recorded Jesus — whom she knows more historically as “Jeshua” and more intimately as “The Beloved” — as saying about the significance and power of the heart:

There is a point within each person where the physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual components of one’s existence are in perfect synchronicity.  At that point, there is no difference in  elements, time, space, or condition.  This is the personal ‘zero point’ which is known prior to birth, immediately after death, and anytime in between when a person’s will has been perfectly reconciled with the will of God.  A person is forever able to connect with his Creator in that sacred place, regardless of how far he has strayed through the process of living.  At the point of true simplicity, you may enter into perfect communion with the Father.  Whenever you do, your life will be renewed or even transformed.

The heart is a magnetic vortex through which the blessings of all essences and potentialities are received, integrated, and focused into living.  Through the laws of electromagnetism, that power is converted into life energy.  The heart, being essentially magnetic, functions best through innocent awareness which attracts and receives.  Acts of judgment, which divide and repel, will shut the door of the heart behind you.  If you would make the heart strong, you must first learn to perceive with innocence, accept, and forgive.  As you empower your heart it will open to you.  At first you may simply notice this change as more passion for living, more peaceful sleep, or better digestion of food.  The heart is the center of your health and quality of living, therefore those things will be addressed first.  As you progress in your affirmations of the heart, however, your life will begin to have more abundant fruits, and you will have the energy needed to make more dramatic changes.  Eventually, what you gain from your heart visitations will surpass your wildest dreams.  There will be levels of energy which are transformational and transmutational.”

“In a world so preoccupied with power,” Glenda writes, “is it not ironic that the heart is so little understood.  For Jesus said, ‘The heart center is the true source of human power.'”

Food for much thought and meditation.  Certainly enough for today. See you in my next post. Until we meet again. . .

be love and be loved.

Attunement with Sacred Sound

We will pause in our review of Glenda Green’s book, Love Without End, to share something about Attunement from a brochure I just finished writing as it flows naturally from the current of our meditation on the Sacred Heart.

What is Attunement?

Attunement is a sacred healing art and a spiritual practice.  It is sacred in that it serves life, and life is sacred. As a sacred healing art, attunement is a technology of Love. It serves to increase the flow and radiance of life in the body by healing, clarifying and strengthening its connection with spirit in the heart — the Sacred Heart —  where oneness with Love is known.

As a spiritual practice, one can use attunement to focus a current of Love in one’s Sacred Heart and allow love to radiate outward without concern for any particular desired results. The radiance of love alone brings peace to the heart, clarity to the mind and healing to the body. The Father, who is Love, knows what our real needs are even before we ask.  Entering Sacred Heart space is the only requirement for experiencing attunement with the healing power of Love.

As a sacred healing art, attunement is administered by focusing a current of love and then extending the hands to share that current with another. The endocrine system of hormonal glands inside and the Chakra centers of energy outside and enveloping the body can be used as key gateways in the energy body to access organs and systems in the physical body. The practitioner may work with these two systems to bring about a state of balance and harmony in the body’s energy fields.

What is Sacred Sound?

Sacred Sound is sound used specifically to convey life’s healing currents. The sound can be produced using Tibetan and quartz crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, recordings (such as CD’s), as well as the human voice to create an atmosphere for healing . . . and so much more.  Offering a musical carrier wave for spirit, Sacred Sound produces a heavenly harmony of tones that lift the heart and mind to peaceful heights of serenity and utter stillness. Sacred Sound actually transforms and realigns the molecules of the body bringing them into beautiful patterns of harmony that manifest the health and radiance of life in body-mind and heart.

Toning Aum

Simply toning Aum with the release of a moderately deep breath, starting with the “ah” sound and open mouth for 5 seconds, then slowing closing the mouth around the ah sound to form the Aum sound, then breathing out the “m” sound through the nose for 10 seconds, will stimulate the pineal gland in the center of the brain and release beneficial hormonal chemistry for the ascension of consciousness to a higher frequency.  Caution: Do this just a few time so as not to over stimulate the pineal gland to the point of becoming ungrounded.

What does attunement feel like?

Depending on one’s openness to receive, one may experience a feeling of peace and inner stillness. A definite and magical healing can occur and is often keenly felt as a penetrating current moving at a core level within. Some have compared it to touching heaven and being “surrounded by a cloud of angels.” Others have likened their experience to being “kissed by an angel.”  One may come away feeling as though one has left this world and entered a realm of light and peace, which I like to think of as the “kingdom of heaven within,” the inner “closet” the Master Jesus spoke of where one may enter and pray “in secret” to one’s “heavenly Father.”  By whatever name called, it is a place of communion with the Beloved and therefore sacred.  The “Sacred Heart” describes it best for me.

What is the purpose of attunement?

Attunement is not so much “given” as it is “shared” by two or more who come together in a spirit of thankfulness. The whole and holy intention of attunement is to clarify and lift one’s own frequency of life energy to a higher level of vibration, above the level where problems, distress and dis-ease are experienced and where oneness with Love is known and keenly felt. Attunement brings a natural sense of wholeness to one’s experience of oneself.

Besides being used for personal healing, attunement can also be used to send healing currents to loved ones, or to enfold a life situation in love for peaceful resolution. Anyone can do this, as attunement with love is our natural state.

Harmony and balance are keys to health, happiness and longevity. Attunement — with or without sacred sound — offers all this and more as one makes attunement with love a way of life and part of one’s daily health and wellness care.

Thankfulness in all things keeps one attuned with Life’s creative flow. Self-attunement is taught and recommended as a way of re-visiting the sacred space created during an attunement session in one’s quiet moments of morning and evening prayer and sanctification.
