Significance of the Pineal: Galactic Orientation

My Chorale PicThe Pineal gland serves much as an internal and external homing device.  While keeping us oriented in our ever changing position in the solar system, the galaxy and the cosmos in general, it also keeps us oriented in Source within the vibrational context of what Gregg Braden calls the “Divine Matrix” and what David Wilcock calls the “Source Field” in his recent release The Source Field Investigations — both authors providing insight into the cosmic context for today’s chaotic world in transition to a “Golden Age.”  Gold is the symbol of love, and so does the Pineal pulsate with the vibration of love.

We are considering the role and significance of the Pineal gland during this shift our solar system is presently experiencing as it crosses over the threshold of the galactic equator and into the birth canal of our Milky Way Galaxy, where star systems are born and reborn.  Our solar entity is being reborn, its energetic frequency being up-regulated. This is the final installment on the theme which I’ll bring to a close with this excerpt from my book Sacred Anatomy.

The Pineal Gland

A Time of Radical Transformation

Anthropologist, historian and investigator, Carlos Barrios, of Spanish descent, was brought up alongside the indigenous Maya Mam tribe in Huehuetenango in the highlands of Guatemala.  In exploring the many different Mayan calendars and the stories they contain, he unveiled a number of inaccuracies in the interpretations anthro-pologists who visit the temple sites have made.  For example they imagined the implications that the world would end rather than go through a transformation, the more accurate interpretation by the Mayan elders, who alone know how to read the calendars.

Carlos’ investigations uncovered a legend which has it beginnings in a time prior to the arrival of Hernando Cortez and his fleet of  Spanish galleons from the East at what is today called Vera Cruz, Mexico, on Easter Sunday in 1519.   The ships with their billowing sails resembled butterflies skimming the ocean surface, and their arrival marked for the islanders the return of a very important ancestor, whose return was prophesied to be as one “coming like a butterfly.” This marked the beginning of a new era the Mayans had anticipated through their calendars, which they termed the “Nine Bolomitkus, or nine Hells of 52 years each.”

“As the nine cycles unfolded, land and freedom were taken from the native people.  Disease and disrespect dominated. What began with the arrival of Cortez lasted until August 16, 1987 – a date many people recall as Harmonic Convergence.  Millions of people took advantage of that date to make ceremony in sacred sites, praying for a smooth transition to a new era, the World of the Fifth Sun.

From that 1987 date until now, Mr. Barrios says, we have been in a time when the right arm of the materialistic world is disappearing, slowly but inexorably.  We are at the cusp of the era when peace begins, and people lie in harmony with Mother Earth.  We are no longer in the World of the Fourth Sun.  This is the time in-between, the time of transition.

As we pass through transition there is a colossal, global convergence of environmental destruction, social chaos, war, and ongoing Earth changes.  All this, Mr. Barrios says, was foreseen via the simple, spiral mathematics of the Mayan calendars.   “It will change,” Mr. Barrios observes.  “Everything will change.”    He said Mayan Daykeepers view the Dec. 21, 2012, date as a rebirth, the start of the World of the Fifth Sun.  It will be the start of a new era resulting from and signified by the solar meridian crossing the galactic equator, and the earth aligning itself with the center of the galaxy.

At sunrise on December 21, 2012, for the first time in 26,000 years the Sun rises to conjunct the intersection of the Milky Way and the plane of the ecliptic .

Ecliptic Plane

This cosmic cross is considered to be a embodiment of the Sacred Tree, The Tree of Life, a tree remembered in all the world’s spiritual traditions.   Some observers say this alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012 will open a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the earth, cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a higher level of vibration.

Spiral Galaxy & Galactic Equator

This process has already begun, Mr. Barrios suggested.  “Change is accelerating now, and it will continue to accelerate.”  If the people of the earth can get to this 2012 date in good shape, without having destroyed too much of the Earth. . . we will rise to a new, higher level.  But to get there we must transform enormously powerful forces that seek to block the way.

We are living in the most important era of the Mayan Calendars and prophecies.  All the prophecies of the world, all the traditions, are converging now.  There is no time for games.  The spiritual ideal of this era is action.”  (From an article taken off the internet.)

This all relates to the transformation process underway in our body temples occasioned by vibrational shifts that are occurring in our immediate vicinity of the Milky Way Galaxy. The action needed is not physical or mental but spiritual or vibrational in nature.  “Not by power or by might, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”   It is as we actually express the Spirit of Love that we know love and experience transformation and renewal.   It is only as we start being peaceful ourselves that we bring peace to our world.

As these heavenly bodies change their proximity to one another and approach conjunction, the vibrational lines of force in the Earth change and intensify, including the vibrational intensities of these seven endocrine centers, which form the “Tree of Life” in these body temples.  When these change, all the cells of the body temple undergo change accordingly.  This impacts the mind as well and the speed at which thoughts form and then materialize bringing us to a point where spontaneous creation is not only possible but a daily occurrence.

The vibratory intensity of the emanations of spirit  through the Pineal  into the body temple increases creating more powerful hormones than we knew were possible to our endocrine system.  With its hormones it is striking at the very foundations of this world founded on fear, hate and greed.  This little stone is one that is not cut out or produced by human hands.   It is a gift from God and is therefore sacred.  It is the “secret place of the Most High” which has been established for His covenant with men.  The Pineal connects us with Heaven above and Earth beneath our feet.  It connects us with Source, the “Divine Matrix” of the Universe of which we and our world is but a physical manifestation.

This Seventh Level of Being is the highest level of attainment of union with the divine here on earth.   In The Triune Ray, Uranda describes it as the point of radiant action:

“The highest, or seventh, plane was, and is, the Christ vibration, which means that it is that which is the purely active radiation of the Divine, or God, Beings who are creating the world. The sixth plane is the next lower vibration, where union takes place and the change from negative response to positive action is manifest.”

These words of Uranda lead naturally into our next meditation, the Pituitary Gland. But first let us give brief consideration to the Hypothalamus and the role it plays with these two sacred energy centers. . . .

You’ll have to read my book for an ongoing meditation on these sacred aspect of your anatomy.  Until my next post,

Be love, be loved,

Significance of the Pineal: The Seventh Angel’s Trumpet

Biblical images to the Angel Gabriel blowing his trumpet to herald the prophetic “end of the world” occupied my childhood imagination for many years until I began to understand that this and other Biblical events are taking place right here in my own human capacities and consciousness.  The stage is set for the sounding of the Tone of Love in our hearts that is heralding the end of the era of Pisces and the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.  Cosmic events cast their shadows on the unfoldment of life on our little planet amid the myriad of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy. Alignments occur intensifying beams of cosmic energy that are shifting human consciousness to higher and yet higher levels. We are not being eliminated from Creation by an angry and vengeful God.  We are rather being upgraded and resurrected from our slumber by a loving and generous Father God and Mother God. Our story continues to unfold, and will conclude shortly.  Read on in this excerpt from my book Sacred Anatomy . . .

The Pineal Gland

The Seventh Angel’s Trumpet

The Pineal Body at the Seventh Level of Being is the level where Man knows oneness with God and with all of creation. The angel of this church—the “seventh angel”—sounds a trumpet, as it were, a tone that sets up the harmonic overtones that establish the vibrational foundations for our house of being.  This central little stone is not isolated unto itself but rather resonates to the Tone of Love sounding eternally throughout the entire cosmos from out of God’s Holy Heaven.  That Heaven is the vibrational foundation for the entire Universe.

There is, then, a design established for order and coordination in our galaxy, for instance.   The Pineal Body does not originate the Tone it radiates forth into the body temple.  That Tone, which is the Word, originates in Source and is re-sounded by all heavenly bodies through a grid-work of vibratory lines of force which connect all things together in the giant fabric of the universe, a universe that is but a cloak to the Living God.

For example, Arcturus, a giant red star now in the constellation Bootes (The Herdsman), visits us in this part of the Milky Way galaxy every nine hundred years.   It has been close during periods of renaissance, for instance, and was at its most distant proximity to us during “dark ages.”  It is presently closest to us and bringing its influence to bear in this part of the galaxy in which we live.   I think of Arcturus as a giant tuning fork which travels around our galaxy of some two hundred billion solar systems, giving off a vibratory frequency that “tunes” other heavenly bodies in its sphere of influence.   Perhaps its frequency is so low that the wave form produced—which would only then be a cosmic heart-beat—impacts our sun every eleven years, for example, which is the periodic cycle of solar storm activity.

I am reminded of some questions the Lord posed to Job from out of the whirlwind: “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?  Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? Canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?” (Job 38: 31-33)

These are peculiar questions unless we remember that we once functioned at a level of consciousness as co-creators with God and knew their answers.   I have no doubt that we are remembering them once again.   Arcturus, an ancient red star, is the father of the suns in our galaxy and continues to maintain their state of vibratory harmony with the rest of the galaxy.  We are to know these things so as to be in position to function intelligently and co-operatively as partners with the Creator as changes occur in the geophysical universe.  Those changes are constant and ongoing.

Planetary and Galactic Alignments

There are many aspects of our galaxy and solar system which impact us vibrationally  here on earth, not the least of which are planetary and galactic alignments.  One such rather major planetary alignment occurred the first week of May of the year 2000.  I remember that night well, as it was a night of utter peace and serenity.

Coming up in the year 2012 is another event, this time a galactic one.   According to astronomers and science authors, such as John Major Jenkins, who has published his exhaustive research in his book, “Maya Cosmogenesis 2012,” a galactic alignment of our solar system with the core of the Milky Way Galaxy will take place on the Winter Solstice, December 21, 2012, a date which marks the end of the Mayan Long Count calendar and the beginning of the Aquarian Age.  It is believed that this is a time of rebirth for the Earth and her sister planets in the galaxy.  The impact of this alignment has been felt since the mid 1980’s.  We are undoubtedly in for some radical shifting of factors, spiritually, mentally and physically, as well as geophysically. Jenkins describes this phenomenon and what it means for human beings on Earth in words that stir the residue of the collective cosmic memories of past similar occurrences. What will happen in the year 2012 is a conjunction of our Sun with the great bulge at the center of our Galaxy.   Occurring on the Winter Solstice as it does, it will also be a rare conjunction of Earth, the Sun and the Galactic heart.  “More importantly, however, in A.D. 2012, the solstice meridian will cross over the Galactic equator.” (See graphics on pages 88 & 89.)

Spiral Galaxy & Galactic Equator

Jenkins explains the nature of the impact this may have here on Earth, a primary one being what he calls “field-dynamic reversals” as our solar system crosses over to the other half of the galaxy.  An example of this would be the reversal of direction in which water flows down the drain on opposite sides of the equator, as well as hurricanes and tornadoes, all of which spin counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.

This “field-effect reversal” notion comes from the Mayans who recorded the passage of the Earth’s solstice meridian across the line of the Galactic equator and into a “paradoxical null-point.”  Jenkins compares the effect to the still space in the eye of hurricane with spinning chaotic winds and rain on all sides of it.

Ecliptic Plane

The galactic center itself radiates an electromagnetic/ photon force field with “dimensions of subtlety within the field—telluric or astral realms—extending beyond the physical forces of science to include spiritual planes of being.”  Being in a “relationship of resonance” with Source, our connection with Center is at the core of our being, where we resonate not only with Source but with each other and with all other beings in this Milky Way Galaxy.  As we change position and orientation in this magnetic field, we are impacted by the lines of force emanating from its center.   The impact is immediate and pervasive.   Jenkins speculates, based on historical evidence, what impact such field-effect reversals will have on the earth and its inhabitants as our “basic orientation will be inverted.”  He predicts that our basic assumptions will be uncovered and we will embrace foundational values that have long been kept buried in the collective subconscious, something that has been occurring for some time now.  We have come to the end of a road forged by rules and assumptions that no longer hold any sway.  A completely opposite set of values and assumptions is determining human expression. Polarization is shifting from material to spiritual orientation, from masculine to feminine, from patriarchy to partnering between men and women.  “The 2012 field-reversal can be seen as a moment in which the human spirit can emerge from unconscious patterns and blossom.”

Jenkins gives an example of such reversals in the sociological patterns of human endeavors and beliefs as they are reflected in our mode of self-government.   Rather than another one of many planetary “pole shifts” which have occurred in the past, and could occur again, giving rise to visions and fears of apocalyptic chaos and upheaval (which he attributes to our own Judeo-Christian implantations)  he proposes a “pole shift in our collective psyche,” which is already underway, putting us squarely in the driver’s seat where we can offer a positive influence in the successful transformation of humanity and the entire natural world.

“What I suspect this is about is already underway—a shift from the dominator mode so characteristic of our civilization to a partnership style.  Social historian Riane Eisler emphasizes that these terms—dominator and partnership— refer to an opposed orientation  in terms of cultural values, rather than qualities intrinsic to patriarchy (males) and matriarchy (females).  Her distinction is important, for if patriarchy upholds the values of hierarchical dominance and territorialism, matriarchy is the exact same style of organization except with women, rather than men, at the top of the hierarchy.  Both are dominator modes of social orientation.  According to Eisler, the partnership mode, on the other hand, upholds the values of relationship, co-creation, and life-affirmation through partnership with nature and other human beings.  The partnership mode does not “belong” to the female principle any more than the dominator mode belongs to the male.”

One can see this shift from dominator to partnership mode playing itself out on the global sociopolitical scene.  Dictators are being toppled and in some instances put to death by the populace. Here in the United States the role of the President is increasingly stressful, to say the least, wanting to shift from traditional top-down “leadership” model to a more collaborative partnership between the President and the people, supposedly represented by a Congress which we elect to represent our needs and interests, a function that has devolved to serve only the greedy interests of the rich merchants of Corporate America.  The top one percent dominate the middle and lower classes entrapped by their own addiction to the steady production and consumption of goods and services.

The current  administration has been hard pressed to bring about this shift to “shared responsibility” and partnering  in a sociopolitical climate created by a population that is yet dependent upon this ancient model of leadership with a king at the top dictating policy of governance and taxation, not any different to how it was in England when we revolted to form our own independent government with a president at the top instead of king or queen.  Nothing has changed.  We still have that sociopolitical and socioeconomic model, which includes the ancient tradition of killing the king when the nation and its people fail to thrive.  A conservative House, currently dominated by the Republicans, has been vehement and vocal about bringing down the Obama Administration by opposing their President’s (king’s?) efforts to steward radical change on every turn, change that will take years to bring order out of chaos and restore prosperity to the nation burdened with debt from previous administrations, along with greed in the banking and real estate industry on Wall Street.  This cannot and will not last.

The old dominator model of leadership dies hard, but it will meet its demise as the new model of partnership proves to be the only model of leadership that works as this shift continues to move us forward toward higher levels of consciousness.  We are gradually moving beyond the need for a king at the top and above down government.  Governance from the heart level, where spirit within guides individual and collective thought and action, has emerged through too many now for the status quo to remain in control much longer. The fact that we can see these things with a view of the larger picture indicates a shift to a higher state of consciousness is well underway.

We will conclude this series in my next blog post.

Significance of the Pineal: Cornerstone of the Temple

“This paradigm of understanding is being dismantled and transformed by the Spirit of Love now intensifying its radiance through the point of focus this little stone, the Pineal Body, provides in the body temple.   Those who find themselves drawing near to Love and leaving the world to its own demise are experiencing a transformation the likes of which has never before occurred in the recorded history of this planet.  Responding to the Spirit of Love, they find themselves drawn toward love and toward others so responding. “

Read on and be lifted up in your understanding  . . .

The Pineal Gland

Significance of the Cornerstone

One of the key elements of the presence of this One who dwells in the midst lies with the secrets inherent in this “little stone” of the Pineal Body.  The Pineal is “a stone cut out without hands,” rejected by men of science for many decades as being insignificant and irrelevant to any important or vital processes in the body.   This “stone which the builders rejected . . . has become the cornerstone of the temple.”  In truth, it has been so from the beginning. What comes to focus by virtue of this tiny gland, the Spirit of Love at the physical plane of being, is even now bringing about a transformation of the body of humanity. We, and all of the kingdoms of this world, are destined to become the “kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ.”  (Rev. 11:15)

It is, without a doubt, by perfect divine design that the Pineal Body is situated between the two lobes of the brain, where all the structures of beliefs, concepts, busy and ambitious thought processes and images of gold are held sacred so as to be used in building and maintaining this empire and civilization.   Here this little stone, with its radiant field of love, is in the most strategically placed position to strike the great image of this empire of man on its feet made of a mixture of iron and clay.

The feet symbolize the capacity of understanding.  The image’s feet were made of a mixture of iron and clay, substances which do not bond together.   They also represent the foundation upon which this mind-made world stands and the mental understanding as to how it works and is maintained.    As that foundation crumbles, as it is doing today, all hell breaks loose as disorientation creates havoc. The foundations of human civilization are synthetic, produced by constructs such as science, politics and religion.   It is held together, not by the power of love which governs the natural world, but by the concepts and beliefs of those who rule the masses, and by the masses who worship these beliefs and concepts.

Those concepts declare, for example, that if someone has something that you need or want, you have the right to go to war with him and take it from him if you can, and that the lives of young men and women are dispensable to that cause and end.   The whole world supports this belief.  The whole world is thus deceived.  The world’s concepts also declare that if someone hates you and seeks to do you harm, you have the right to hate him back and seek to destroy him first.

Man’s civilization is governed by the laws of the Medes and Persians, with one exception. The laws of the Medes and Persians could not be altered.  The laws of this civilization can be changed, and are changed, when they no longer serve the needs of those who make them.  Fortunately for us the God of Heaven does not rule His Kingdom nor Her Queendom on the same arbitrary basis, nor out of convenience.   The ordinances of heaven that govern the kingdoms of this world are absolute and immutable.   They hinge on the One Law of Love . . . and Love never fails.  Love radiates forth and response leaps to obey its irresistible attraction.  Community happens, bringing blessings to the whole and to all the parts that make up this whole, holy world.

In a word, man’s civilization is founded upon an understanding of how hate, fear and greed can get us, as individuals and as nations and peoples, just about anything we covet.  The only price we pay is that we must, upon acquiring it, treasure it with our hearts and guard it with our very lives or else someone will come along and try to take it from us.  For where one’s treasure is, there one’s heart is as well.  This is the basis upon which we have established life in this world and have learned to survive in it.  It is not the truth of how life is meant to be lived, and deep down inside our heart of hearts we know that. At deeper levels, hearts desire companionship, trust, meaning.  There would likely be no coveting were these desires met in us individually and nationally.

Upon the very altar of our hearts we continue to worship the gods of gold, silver, brass, wood, stone and now oil, plutonium and the silica of the computer microchip.  In return these gods give us fleeting power over our worlds and over others. We may praise the God of Heaven on Sundays—and at times when He comes through for us as in the story of Daniel—but we turn right around and resort to worshiping these other gods and appeasing them so that they will continue to deliver unto us the material goods we so earnestly believe will bring us life, liberty, security and happiness.  In so doing we compromise our hearts and therein defile our temples.

This paradigm of understanding is being dismantled and transformed by the Spirit of Love now intensifying its radiance through the point of focus this little stone, the Pineal Body, provides in the body temple.   Those who find themselves drawing near to Love and leaving the world to its own demise are experiencing a transformation the likes of which has never before occurred in the recorded history of this planet.  Responding to the Spirit of Love, they find themselves drawn toward love and toward others so responding.

As the radiation of Love increases and permeates the cells of the brain, it cleanses the atoms which comprise it.  The Pineal becomes a powerful magnetic center which draws all the atoms in the human brain into a pattern of service in the temple.  Its bio-magnetic force field, like a computer reformat program, erases programs in the memory cells of the brain.  Thought patterns that were once held “sacred” for the security they promised are become as iron mixed with clay as they no longer hold together.  Beliefs that were once worshiped are suddenly seen as shams and levers for manipulation by commercial advertising and evangelism.   Belief in “the truth” gives way to the actual experience of truth and the resultant freedom from these limitations

These “sacred” thought patterns and beliefs have been established by isolated and competing human egos. As these old concepts and viewpoints of how the world of man works crumble, giving way to the new thought patterns born out of love for the LORD God and for one another, our world does not make sense any longer.  Nothing is certain anymore, as though it ever was.  We just believed it was because of the structures, the golden images, in our heads.  We are awakening to the stark reality that the LORD of this world is truly the God of heaven and rules yet;  that until we come to love Him above all and with all, and our neighbor as ourselves, there is no hope for this civilization; that oneness is the truth of love and of life.

As we no longer function out of fear, hate and greed, but begin to function out of love, the feet of this great image continues to crumble, for we the people are the feet of this great civilization, the “grass roots” as we are called in the political system.   When we change the way we see things and the way we behave toward God, toward ourselves and one another and toward the natural world, then will the empires of gold, silver, brass, iron, stone and oil come tumbling down to be blown away by the wind of spirit in expression through us so that there will not remain even a memory of it.

The Spirit of Love is even now melting the feet of this golden image in the heart and soul of humanity through this little stone.  Speaking to us vibrationally through the Pineal, it is compelling us all to listen to its voice and heed its command:   “Love one another.  Do good unto those that hate you.  Love your enemies.  Do unto others as you would they should do unto you.”

The Golden Rule is returning to human conscious-ness, and its power is destroying the “laws of the Medes and Persians,” all by virtue of the silent presence of Love focused in this tiny gland.  The changes are occurring in everyone at the same time even as I write because of one thing and one thing only:   God loves each and every one of us the same and His Spirit of Love, even the Lord of Love who incarnated 2000 years ago, is with us and has been all these two thousand years.  What he set in motion then has now come full cycle.   The victory is his and well at hand for those who believe in what he brought and do what he commanded.  Such are the friends of God.  What he brought was unconditional love, the One Law upon which all other laws hinge.  He sounded the Tone of unconditional love and has filled the Seven Levels of Being with the substance of love. He has opened the Seven Seals that are even now pouring out radiant currents of love into the hearts of human beings everywhere.  Purification is underway in the temple of the living God.

The news media brings this reality before our eyes and ears daily.  Simply observe the profanity, violence and inhumane behavior gushing forth out of the heart of humanity like foul sewage water pouring out of a cistern as fresh water pours in from the bottom pushing out the residue that has settled on the bottom for millennia, now rising to the surface and spilling out over the edges of the cauldron of human consciousness.  It’s all coming out, the “good, the bad and the ugly.”  From a higher, fourth-dimensional viewpoint, there’s much cause for rejoicing in all of this chaos coming out of our collective heart because right behind it is cool, clear water.

I will continue sharing from the pages of Sacred Anatomy and my consideration of the Significance of the Pineal in the next blog post.  Thank you for joining your heart with mine as we meditate on these timely cosmic events and the impact we have on them as well as them on us.

Significance of the Pineal: “A White Stone”

We continue with the story of Daniel excerpted from my book Sacred Anatomy.  It is a story that foreshadows the fall of a civilization founded upon the worship of gold depicted in a dream King Nebuchadnezzar had about a golden image whose feet were made of iron and clay.  The image came crashing down when a white stone struck its feet destroying them.  The white stone was “cut out without hands.”  In my book, I correlate this white stone with the Pineal Gland and speak to the significance of this tiny gland’s location in the center of the brain.  Read on . . .

Daniel himself was favored by all the kings who reigned during his lifetime because “an excellent spirit was in him,” and because of his strong faith in his God.   The Median King Darius later on would have to throw Daniel into the lion’s den to appease the Medes and Persians, who are known for their unalterable laws, only to spend a sleepless night fasting and in deep repentance hoping that Daniel’s God would surely deliver him.  He arose early in the morning and went with haste to the lion’s den crying out remorsefully but hopefully for Daniel, whom he found quite whole and unharmed.   He was “exceeding glad” and therefore commanded that those who had made the accusation against Daniel themselves be fed to the lions, along with their wives and their families.   Further he wrote to all the peoples of the entire earth that had peace among them and decreed that “in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and steadfast forever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.”

It is noteworthy here that throughout this story of Daniel he is placed first over other princes and governors because of his spirit, which was the spirit of the Lord God whom Daniel worshiped and sought to represent to the rulers and people of this great empire.  It is also noteworthy that this king, along with others after him in the story, were constantly torn between their many gods—the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and stone—and this One God of Heaven that Daniel worshiped and obeyed.  Whereas they could not deny the awesome power Daniel’s God bestowed upon him, particularly over secrets and dreams (it seems the kings of that era had a lot of disturbing dreams), they would resort to their traditions of placating the gods of their religions so as to assure their kingship, as well as the people’s homage, respect and obedience,  as rulers of the world at that time.

It was always the accusations of the other governors against Daniel and his companions that caused the king to enforce his own decrees, only to hope in his heart that Daniel’s God would surely deliver them.  This dynamic makes the story all the more interesting and revealing of human nature antics, which have not changed much.    For even to this day do men worship their gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and especially stone which they grind up to make all their buildings and highways, and silica that is used to store data in computers.  So do they also make laws that cannot be broken without paying either with money or one’s life, the same laws to be used in bringing down those whom we envy or despise, especially our leaders and elected officials whom we blame for our troubles.

This was the empire where Daniel began to prosper and his God of Heaven was acknowledged as being the “God of the living” to be feared and worshiped by all peoples everywhere.  The one just prior to this one, ruled over by Nebuchadnezzar’s son, Belshazzar, was the one represented in the dream by the feet made of iron mixed with clay.  It had fallen, bringing all the empires of that era down into the dust of obliteration.  But Daniel’s God and his heavenly kingdom, once a little stone, had grown into a great mountain which filled the whole earth.

But before King Nebuchadnezzar’s reign came to an end, his entire kingdom was taken away from him, an event that was foretold in a dream once again, this one being of a gigantic tree that covered the entire earth which “holy men from above” had come down and cut off all its branches, leaving only a stump with a brass band around it to keep it from perishing entirely.  Daniel told the king that he was that tree, whose power had grown so that he ruled the entire world of that day.  Soon after his dream Nebuchadnezzar found himself suddenly banned from his kingdom to live in the wilderness and eat grass like the other animals.  Instead of cursing his lot, however, he lifted his heart and mouth up to heaven and praised the God of Daniel, acknowledging Him as the giver of all things, including his kingdom for which he had once proudly taken full credit for its very existence.   Then was his wealth and kingdom restored to him along with his lords and counselors, in his own words: “and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me.”  He then praised, extolled and honored the King of heaven.  Here is the human mind, represented by the king, lifting up praises to God and therein being lifted up itself to a higher level of function, an important step for what would come next in the opening of another opportunity for mankind to be restored to its original state of oneness with the LORD God.

It was his son, Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans,  who resorted to worshiping their gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood and stone, bringing that empire down into final ruin.  While celebrating and drinking out of the vessels taken from out of the temple of God in Jerusalem, he saw a hand writing upon the wall the words:

“MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN,” which Daniel interpreted, with some consternation himself, to mean: “God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it…. Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting…. Thy kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians” (Daniel 5:24-28).

The king immediately tried to appease Daniel’s God by commanding that Daniel be clothed with scarlet and given the gold chain he had promised to anyone who could interpret the writing on the wall, along with making him the third ruler of the kingdom.  But that night Belshazzar was slain and Darius the Median took over the kingdom.

Daniel had several visions after this, all foretelling what was to come to pass, not unlike John of Revelation.   They come as well toward the end of a cycle of repeated failure.  In fact, they were strikingly similar, even as one reads them.  They read very much like the visions John saw when he turned to see the voice that spoke with him. Daniel also had a vision of a glorified man after he himself had been on a twenty-four-day fast mourning the visions he had been having pointing to the destruction of Jerusalem, a city which, as Daniel reminded the Lord, bore his name, “Salem.”   It was just after this period of mourning and fasting, sitting by the river Hiddekel, that Daniel saw…

“…a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.”  (Daniel 10:5-6)

It was then that Daniel, foreseeing the necessity of a new cycle for the redemption of mankind and the restoration of the world after so many failures, foretold the coming of the Messiah, the incarnation of the Lord of Love, who would himself initiate it.

Invariably, toward the end of a cycle, there is the One who is present at the very core of the fire which fuels the creative process underway.  This is the Lord of the Sacred Seven who is responsible for the Creative Processes at work in and through this world over which he is sovereign.  He made himself known to Abraham, to Jacob, to Moses, to the prophets such as Daniel, and finally to John on the isle of Patmos after the cycle he initiated came to a certain point of completion for him personally, although it failed to complete itself in the collective experience of those who were with him at the time.  The cycle would have to be re-initiated at the level where human consciousness would be at the time cosmic factors would come into alignment again that would make it possible.  His presence and personal victory impacted human consciousness sufficiently to transform it and lift it to a level where the cycle could be initiated again. That initiation has taken place and the peoples of the world are awakening to the presence of the Divine within themselves.

This same Lord of the Seven Planes of Being for this Whole Holy World is making His presence felt once again at the end of this cycle of 2000 years, which marks the beginning of a cycle of renewal and restoration for the entire planet and solar entity, including Mankind and the natural world of the planet.  For those who are moving on the vibration of the LORD of Love, the Presence of the One Who Dwells in the midst is unmistakably felt.

Significance of the Pineal: Cut Out Without Hands

As we celebrate Christmas and the dawning of a New Year, 2012, much anticipation stirs in human hearts and ominous speculation abounds in human imagination as to what is predicted to happen this year, culminating on the Winter Solstice.  My prediction is that we will finally learn – perhaps be forced to learn by some catastrophic event, such as the collapse of our economy or a major natural disaster  – that love and respect for one another is the only real currency between us that offers lasting solutions to our problems.  We will finally truly begin to love one another and our planet, our Home among the stars.  As promised, I will continue our consideration of the significance of the Pineal gland in our body temples and the pivotal role it is playing as the earth and its inhabitants experience the “Shift” to a higher frequency.  This excerpt is from my book Sacred Anatomy – Where spirit and flesh dance in the fires of creation.

Cut Out Without Hands

Uranda’s reference above to the “white stone” as being the “renewed Pineal Gland” reminds me of another place in the Old Testament of the Bible where a small stone is mentioned that plays a pivotal role in the history of the Middle East.   This reference is in the second chapter of The Book of Daniel the prophet.  It is such a wonderful story that I would like to consider it in all of its dramatic and significant details.

[This will take three of four blog posts. The story itself and the analogy I use is well worth revisiting at this time as we enter the New Year of 2012.]

It seems that Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar, having just besieged Jerusalem – something that occurred quite frequently in those days—had a dream which he summoned his soothsayers to not only interpret for him but to tell him the very dream itself, for he had forgotten it.  All he could remember of it was that it troubled his spirit so much that it woke him from his sleep.   Yet he could not remember the dream, so he summoned all the wise men of Babylon to remember it for him and interpret it.  When they could do neither, he was so furious that he commanded that they all be destroyed, along with Daniel and his fellows, Shadrach, Mishach and Abednego, formerly known by the names,  Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, respectively.  To Daniel was given the name “Belteshazzar.”   Of course Daniel, who had not as yet had his chance at the dream, came to the king and did indeed tell him his dream as well as its interpretation.  This pleased the king, who then acknowledged that Daniel’s God was truly “a God of  gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets,”  so he showered Daniel with many gifts and made him ruler over all the governors of Babylon.  He also placed Daniel’s fellows over the affairs of the province of Babylon, with its hanging gardens, one of the “seven wonders of the world.”

The dream itself was of a great image that was fashioned of various ores.  His head was made of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron and his feet, interestingly enough, were made with a mixture of iron and clay.  What likely troubled king Nebuchadnezzar so was what happened in his dream to this image when a stone, “cut out without hands,” smote the image upon its feet.  The feet mixed with iron and clay crumbled and the whole image came tumbling down and all that the image was made of—the gold, the silver, the brass and the iron mixed with clay—was blown away by the wind so that nothing was left of it anywhere.  But the stone became a great mountain which filled the whole earth.

Daniel interpreted the dream as a prophetical outworking that would see the rise and fall of several empires, including Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian empire, which Daniel said was represented by the head of gold.  There would be other empires to come after the Babylonian empire, such as the Persian, the Grecian and Roman empires.  All would rise and fall.  The stone represented the kingdom of Daniel’s “God of heaven” which would be established during the reign of these kings and would remain to fill the whole earth after these other kingdoms had passed away.  This, of course, related to the Nation of Israel which came up largely right under the noses of the rulers of these empires.

This may also be seen as relating to any spiritual body of people who are drawn together by love to give collective presence of and expression to the Spirit of God.  Such gatherings start out very small and, to the extent they are consistently true to their purpose in spirit, bring a powerful focus of spirit to bear in human consciousness that has the ability to bring about change in the collective body of humanity and in the natural world.

[We see this occurring today as the collective body of Mankind awakens to the Presence of Love in the human heart.  Love in expression through human hearts is filling the whole world with light for those who see the light amid the darkness, the order coming out of chaos.  It takes an “attractor” to bring a new order out of chaos. That attractor is love for the truth of life and a willingness, nay a relief, in letting go of that which is not the truth of life.]

King Nebuchadnezzar, for whatever reason, was not content to simply heed the message of his dream.  He had a ninety by nine foot statue, or “image of gold,” erected “in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon” (Daniel 3:1).   Now Babylon was a province, or state—a collective, in other words, of many cities.

In the Bible whenever a city or state is mentioned it may be seen as a metaphor for consciousness, so that Babylon could be seen here as relating to the collective consciousness of humanity in which the human mind plays a focal role.  The mind is historically thought to be anchored within the brain.  As I mentioned above, it was considered at one time to be the origin of thought.   So I think its interesting, if not significant, that this “image of gold” was erected in the “plain of Dura” somewhere in Babylon.   The word “Dura,” as we saw above, is also used to identify the outer protective membrane of the brain and spinal chord.

In other words, this image could be seen as representing an image of gold held in the human intellect, gold representing love and what gold brings, namely power, as well as abundance and wealth. To Nebuchadnezzar this image of gold represented his many gods and the gifts of wealth and plenty these gods had bestowed upon him and his empire.    Having erected this gigantic idol, he commanded that, upon hearing the sound of the “musick,” everyone, under penalty of death in the fiery furnace, should fall down and worship the golden image.

As the story goes, it was reported to the king that Daniel’s three companions were not obeying his command, so the king had Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego bound and thrown into the fiery furnace to honor his decree.  So furious was he that these three friends of Daniel would not worship his gods that he had the furnace heated seven times more than it was wont to be heated. As we recall, the three men, who went into the fiery furnace singing songs of praise and thanksgiving to their God, were not burned by the fire but only their bonds, along with the men who had thrown them into the furnace, were destroyed, setting them free.

The king was suddenly “astonied” because of what he saw in the furnace: “Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” he asked of his counselors.  “True, king” they answered him.  “Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:24-25)   Here is that vision again of the One standing in the midst of fire that is like unto the Son of God, or the Son of man as St. John called him.  There was a presence, in other words, that was of another dimension.

“Blue Shaman”

Osiris and Isis live on in the “Place of the Shapers”!    Or is their legend only that and nothing more?    You’ll be convinced there’s more to it than story-book legend after finishing Book II of Blue Shaman.  It brought me to tears of joy and utter ecstatic fulfilment of personal destiny toward the end.  “Yes! this is what the Journey called ‘life’ is all about!” was my first flush of feeling.

Characters the likes of Troth, Ra, Lord Osiris and the fabled goddess Isis, even Prince Setana, come alive in Hugh Malafry’s trilogy.  I’ve read the first two books, “Stone of Sovereignty” and “Caverns of Ornolac,” and patiently, but with bated breath and curious anticipation, await the third, “Master of Hallows,” to see just how far the author dares take his readers in the ultimate “quest for the Holy Grail,” or “Sang Real (Royal Blood),” as Dan Brown brought to light in Angels and Demons.   Unlike Dan Brown’s story, Hugh Malafry’s rendition of the fabled grail quest story makes attainment on a very intimate and personal level appear highly plausible, if tangibly possible in one’s lifetime.   Is not the experience of the “oneness of the Worlds” of heaven and earth, in and through the realization of divine identity, the ultimate quest of all seekers on spiritual paths Home?  Is not co-creation with “The Makers” in our history as well as in our intuited destiny?

Each of us is given a remembrance of the truth of love in the “white stone of sovereignty” embodied by the pineal gland in the center of the cranium (alluded to only in the story),  not only of the human species but of all living beings and entities of Gaia, so that we carry within us the memory of “The First Time.” There is a powerful lesson in the story relating to how we each enter in the holy place of our temples of light within, the key to restoring heaven on earth . . . but I’ll let you discover it for yourself.

Heads up movie makers!

Blue Shaman is a must read for all wayfarers on the road to spiritual enlightenment and full Self-realization!   More yet, it has the makings of possibly the greatest movie of the 21st Century.   Heads up movie producers!   Malafry’s novel is staged upon a most unusual, if unlikely, terrain that bridges this world with the “Otherworld.”  The reader finds him/or herself  “crossing over” the thresholds from one world to the next, in the “Inn of the Parting of the Ways” and beyond,  and back again throughout the story; the main characters transitioning through what is called “death” and the regeneration of their flesh bodies, some even having access to wisdom and knowledge gained in prior incarnations.   “This is how it should be” was a recurring flush of feeling for me throughout the story, a deja vu of profound depth.   It was a revelation to me for sure of my own level of spiritual awakening, growth and maturity.  With what character(s) I most personally identified at various stages as the story unraveled told me something about my own “progress” along the Way:  where I’ve been, where I am now, and, most importantly, where I must continue to go forward toward in my own spiritual journey to full Self-realization and, more relevant, to the timely revelation (apocalypse) of the light that I am for my world, that we each are individually and collectively for our potentially magnificent world.

Probably the greatest gift of Malafry’s trilogy is that of remembrance —  remembrance of our past, the only “cure” for our collective amnesia that has occasioned the potential reenactment of our tragic history and the continuance of our scientific arrogance that has brought our mind-made worlds of the past down upon our heads and the heads of our women and children, wiping out entire civilizations and sinking vast continents into the waters of the oceans, risking the unthinkable just because we can.  Remembrance, as well, of the “First Time” and how it will be again on planet Earth, our Home among the stars, as the Makers incarnate among us restore to our remembrance the truth of life, which is love and sacred community.  Love is the Way, and this trilogy lends access to a deep longing and profound feeling of the realization of Love in the daily living of life.  It is a most beautiful story magically, if with uncanny authority, told and written by one who appears to know of what he writes.  I know the author personally, and his writings impress upon me what I know of his authenticity and very practical spirituality.

I highly recommend Blue Shaman to my blog readers . . . and to movie makers in Hollywood.   The trilogy is published by AuthorHouse, 1663 Liberty Dr.,Bloomington, Indiana, 47403, phone 800-839-8640, available online at www.authorhouse.com, as well as, and primarily, on any Amazon wedsite throughout the world.

Light upon your path,

Anthony Palombo
