The Stone That Scientists Rejected

“I have thrown fire on the world. Look! I watch it until it blazes….Whoever is near to me is near the fire. Whoever is far from me is far from the Kingdom.” (Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas: 10 & 82)

Continuing in this series, I come to the gift of my meditation on the Spiritual Significance of the Pineal Gland: the realization of its strategic position in the center of the brain from which it speaks Love’s commands to all the cells in the body temple via the network of nerve fibers and the six hormonal glands located in strategic places in the body.  Like the Great Commandment of Love upon which all other laws and the prophets hinge, the entire endocrine system of our sacred anatomy is oriented in the Pineal Gland at the seventh and highest level of union with the Divine Presence in the temple of the living God on Earth.

Significance of the Cornerstone

One of the key elements of the presence of this One who dwells in the midst lies with the secrets inherent in this “little stone.”  The Pineal is “a stone cut out without hands,” rejected by men of science for many decades as being insignificant and irrelevant to any important or vital processes in the body.   This “stone which the builders rejected . . . has become the cornerstone of the temple.”  In truth, it has been so from the beginning. What comes to focus by virtue of this tiny gland, the Spirit of Love at the physical plane of being, is even now bringing about a transformation of the body of Humanity.

It is, without doubt, by divine design that the Pineal gland is situated between the two hemispheres of the brain, where all the structures of beliefs, concepts, busy and ambitious thought processes and images of gold used in building and maintaining this empire and civilization are held sacred. Here this little stone, with its radiant field of love, is in the most strategic position to strike the great image of this mind-made empire on its feet — made of a mixture of truth and deception.

The feet symbolize the capacity of understanding.  The image’s feet were made of a mixture of iron and clay, substances which do not bond together. They also represent the foundation upon which this mind-made world stands and the mental under-standing as to how it works and is maintained.  As that foundation crumbles, as it is doing today, all hell breaks loose, literally, as disorientation creates havoc. The foundations of human civilization are synthetic, composed of constructs produced by science, politics and religion.  It is held together, not by the power of Love and design of Truth which govern the natural world, but by the concepts and beliefs of those who rule the masses, and by the masses who worship these beliefs and concepts.

Those concepts declare, for example, that if someone has something that you need or want, you have the right to go to war with him and take it from him if you can, and that the lives of young men and women are dispensable to that cause and end. The whole world supports this belief.  The whole world is thus deceived.  The world’s concepts also declare that if someone hates you and seeks to do you harm, you have the right to hate him back and seek to destroy him first – an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

Man’s civilization is governed by the laws of the Medes and Persians, with one exception. The laws of the Medes and Persians could not be altered.  The laws of this civilization can be changed and are changed when they no longer serve the needs and purposes of those who make them.  Fortunately for us the God of Heaven does not rule his Kingdom on the same arbitrary basis, nor out of convenience. The ordinances of Heaven that govern the kingdoms of this world are absolute and immutable. They hinge on the One Law of Love . . . and Love never fails.  Love radiates forth and substance responds, leaping to obey its irresistible commands. Community happens, bringing blessings to the whole and to all the parts that make up this Whole Holy World.

In other words, man’s civilization is founded upon an understanding of how hate, fear and greed can get us, as individuals and as nations and peoples, just about anything we covet.  The only price we pay is that we must, upon acquiring it, treasure it with our hearts and guard it with our lives or else someone will come along and try to take it from us.  For where one’s treasure is, there one’s heart is as well.

This is the basis upon which we have established life in this world and have learned to survive in it.  It is not the truth of how life is meant to be lived, and deep down inside our heart of hearts we know this.  At deeper levels, we desire companionship, trust, meaning and a genuine sense of purpose. There would likely be no coveting were these desires met in us individually and collectively.

Upon the very altar of our hearts we continue to worship the gods of gold, silver, brass, wood, stone —  and now oil, plutonium and the silica of the computer microchip — along with money and all the stuff money can buy. In return these gods give us fleeting power and control over our worlds and over others. We may praise the God of Heaven on Sundays — and at times when He comes through for us as in the story of Daniel — but we turn right around and resort to worshiping these other gods and appeasing them so that they will continue to deliver the material goods we so earnestly believe will bring us life, liberty, security and happiness.  In so doing we compromise our hearts and therein defile our temples.

This paradigm of understanding is being dismantled by the Spirit of Love now intensifying its radiance through the point of focus this little stone provides in the body temple. Those who find themselves drawing near to Love and leaving the world to its own devices are experiencing a transformation the likes of which has never before occurred in the recorded history of this planet.  Responding to the Spirit of Love, we find ourselves drawn toward love and toward others so responding.

As the radiation of Love increases and permeates the cells of the brain, it cleanses the atoms which comprise it.  The Pineal becomes a powerful magnetic center which draws all the atoms in the human brain into a pattern of service in the temple.  Its bio-magnetic force field, much like a computer’s default restoration program, erases useless programs in the memory cells of the brain.  Thought patterns that were once held sacred for the security they promised are become as iron mixed with clay as they no longer hold together. Beliefs that were once held sacred are suddenly seen as shams and levers for manipulation by commercial advertising and evangelists.  Belief in “the truth” gives way to the actual experience of Truth and the resultant freedom from these limitations.

These thought patterns and beliefs have been established by isolated and competing human egos. As these old concepts and viewpoints of how the world of man works crumble, giving way to new thought patterns born out of love for Truth, our world does not make sense any longer.  Nothing is certain anymore, as though it ever was.  We just believed it was because of the structures, the golden images in our brains.

As we no longer function out of fear, hate and greed, but begin to function out of love for Truth, the feet of this great image continues to crumble, for we the people are the feet of this great civilization, the “grass roots” as we are called in the political system.  When we change the way we see things and the way we behave toward God, toward ourselves and one another, and toward the natural world, then will the empires of gold, silver, brass, iron, stone and oil come tumbling down to be blown away by the wind of spirit in expression through us so that there will not remain even a memory of it.

The Spirit of Love is even now melting the feet of this golden image in the heart and soul of humanity through this little stone.  Speaking to us vibrationally through the Pineal, it is compelling us all to listen to its voice and heed its command:

Love one another as I have loved you. Do good unto those that hate you.  Love your enemies. . . . Do unto others that which you would they should do unto you.

The Golden Rule is returning to human consciousness, and its power is destroying the “laws of the Medes and Persians,” all by virtue of the radiant presence of Love focused in and shining through this tiny gland.  The changes are occurring in everyone at the same time even as I write because of one thing and one thing only: God loves each and every one of us the same and His Spirit of Love, even the Lord of Love who incarnated 2000 years ago, is with us and has been all these two thousand years.  What He set in motion then has now come full cycle. The victory is His and well at hand for those who believe in what He brought and do what He commanded.  Such are the friends of God who make up the Body of God on earth.

What He brought was unconditional love, the One Law upon which all other laws hinge.  He sounded the Tone of unconditional love and has filled the Seven Levels of Being with the substance of love.  He has opened the Seven Seals that are even now pouring out radiant currents of love into the hearts of human beings everywhere, bringing peace to hearts that are open and turbulence to hearts that are closed. Purification is underway in the temple of the living God. (Sacred Anatomy)

Kingdom of Fire

The quote at the top of this post is taken from the book The Gospel of Thomas, edited by Andrew Harvey and annotated by Stevan Davies. Stevan’s annotation on this passage sheds insightful light on its implied meaning:

The implicit identification of “fire” and “Kingdom” [in saying 82] is interesting. Something of the same idea is present in saying 10 as well….  Saying 10 implies a radical near-future change coming in the form of a cosmic conflagration sparked by Jesus himself. In accordance with saying 10, where Jesus has control of the fire that will soon blaze, saying 82 almost identifies that fire with Jesus and certainly identifies that fire with the Kingdom. One might therefore re-read saying 10 as “I have thrown the Kingdom on the world.”

The Kingdom of Heaven is said to be within us and all around us. It governs through our hearts where the fire of love empowers our creativity, and through the subtle energy that grows and manages the world of Nature. Even as the climate of the natural world heats up, so is the furnace of the heart of humankind being heated seven times hotter than it is want to be heated so that the bonds that bind us to the material world can be burned away, leaving us standing in the midst of the fire bound only to the One I AM standing in the midst.  Those who draw near to Love draw near to the fire of purification. This is great cause for rejoicing.

I will bring this series to completion with my next two posts. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

“The Hero’s Journey”. . . . part 3: Dark Night of the Soul

Every hero’s journey has a dark night of the soul, when all seems lost with no path forward in life. A sinking feeling of hopelessness fills one’s heart. The specter of ending one’s life may even loom large in one’s thoughts. Of course, that is an option. There’s light at the end of that tunnel. Suicide among war veterans, even youth, is on the increase.

Today is “Good Friday” in the Christian world when the crucifixion and death of the man Jesus is once again mourned in a most peculiarly celebratory way.  One cannot even imagine what his dark night of the soul was like. His prayer to his heavenly Father gives but a hint: “Father, let this cup pass from me. Yet, not my will, but thy will be done.” The Gospels — though highly redacted by the political factors at work under the hand of the Emperor Constantine at the Council of Nicea — tell how he sweated drops of blood during his passion.  Assuming this is an unredacted account, I don’t believe anyone in the depth of their darkest night of soul can relate to such a depth of dread and fear.  In that sense, I don’t see where there is any “good” to celebrate on this day, except perhaps in the fact that he didn’t end his own earthly journey by taking his life.  He rather faced his nemesis, his greatest fears: failure of his mission by rejection, and death by crucifixion . . . and won the battle to go on and claim the Elixir of Immortality.  He rose above death to find eternal life, setting a precedent for all of mankind to draw strength and courage from while in the depth of despair and hopelessness. If we’re honest about it, suicide is a royal cop-out from facing life’s challenges . . . and we all  have them.

There’s a lesson to be learned from the proverbial bar of soap, which, when squeezed, will go up or down depending on which direction you point it.  When your circumstance caves in and the pressure of life seems to be pushing you down, if you look down, you’ll go down. Look up and you’ll go up. This is what the man Jesus did. He never stopped looking up to his Heavenly Father — which, according to his own words, was not up but within.  Look to your Father who is within you and go up into life, which is eternal.  Find courage and strength in these words: “You are loved more than you can ever imagine.”

DEPRESSION OF LIFE

I had an interesting dream last night.  I was giving a talk in a seminar about finding one’s path to a creative expression of life. The metaphor I used was that of a wall, of all things — but not a wall to keep undesirables out; rather a wall preventing one’s spirit from coming forth into expression of love and creativity. This, at a vibrational level, I believe is a root cause of mental and emotional depression, and there’s no drug for the dissolution of this wall. A vibrational, spiritual wall can only be dissolved vibrationally and spiritually. Love is the vibration and Life is the Spirit that, when expressed with joy and thankfulness, alone can dissolve the wall inside depressing one’s life energy.

There is a collective wall in the heart of the body of Humanity with many windows and doors created by individuals who are coming forth through it by expressing love and joy in their living. Because there are so many these days who are walking on through the illusory barriers in their lives and finding new life by dying to the old, this collective wall is crumbling and falling down, bringing the old world of deception we have known for eons down with it.

FIRE IN THE BELFRY TOWER

I feel certain that the fire that destroyed the ceiling, roof and the cross-bearing spire of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris this past week is a poignant symbol of this crumbling wall . . . a wall which exists only in the upper cranium of human beings as a mental concept and belief that heaven is “up there” somewhere, and one gets there by suffering through life’s “vale of tears” and dying a “good Christian death”– whatever that is.  Such nonsense and deception has prevailed on earth for too many centuries, even after the proclaimed “Messiah” spent his entire public ministry preaching that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us and all around us. He was crucified for proclaiming his divinity, and not by the Jews, as Christians believe and hold in prejudice against them, but by the people, the mob gathered in that public square on that fateful day who cried out “Crucify him! Crucify him!” To this day that cry is maintained by human beings who continue to crucify the expression of their own divine and authentic Self and adhere to the teachings of the Council of Nicea over those of the Master himself.  We continue to crucify our own expression of Divinity at Golgotha, the place of the skull. It’s ironic that the Cathedral fire started in the attic.

With all that is coming to the surface and being exposed in the Catholic Church today, I believe the Church is headed into its dark night of the soul.  A billion dollars were raised in just a few days to rebuild Notre Dame Cathedral in France, a nation whose people are out in the streets in protest against economic inequality and social injustice.  Yet none of that can rebuild the social and economic collapse in France, nor stave off the dark night of the soul of Christianity.

There’s a vibrational connection between the riots in the streets of Paris, as well as the scandalous pedofile activities in the Catholic Church, and the conflagration at Notre Dame Cathedral, the geophysical centerpiece of the city and the Mother of the French nation. Conditions in America and elsewhere are ripe for such a conflagration.  Only radical change in our beliefs and behavior toward one another can alter the course we have set for ourselves and our world. We will have our dark night of our nation’s soul. It will take that to wake us up and face our nemesis: ourselves.

Have a Happy Easter.

Disclosure, Part 3: Seizing The Elixir of Immortality

The goal in “The Hero’s Journey” is attainment of the “Elixir of Immortality.”  For Americans, this elixir could be the hopeful American Dream, or our promised constitutional rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. For Christians and other religions, it’s the promise of eternal life in the hereafter. For those seeking enlightenment, it’s the discovery of one’s authentic divine Self.

According to the story of the Hero’s Journey, the Elixir of Immortality is guarded by the “Guardian of the Threshold,” the nemesis, and held out of the hero’s reach. The hero has to defeat the nemesis in order to cross the threshold and seize the goal. Let’s see how this holds up in real time.

In America, citizens are granted constitutional rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. However, these rights are not entirely free. US citizens pay dearly for them in taxes and high interest rates. The Cabal, which controls the interest rates on loans and credit cards, has put a toll on this highway to happiness, and one needs credit in order to travel on this road to cash in on the American Dream.

CASH & CREDIT

Credit and debt are what create our monetary system. Money is considered as sacred as life itself, if not moreso. Life is the only thing that’s free, other than air—although living in America is taxable, and childbirth can be expensive ($3500 avg), as well as funerals ($9000 avg), plus the cost of a cemetery plot—all of which are taxable.

Credit card interest is one of the Cabal’s greatest sources of wealth. Every time we swipe our credit cards the merchant has to pay 3.5-4% of the purchase to the bank. Multiply that by about four-billion transactions a day and you get about fourteen-billion dollars pouring into the banks every day. Add to that the accrued interest of 15% average on the unpaid balance due at the end of each month. Here are more facts I found on Google search:

U.S. GDP, the total value of all money spent in the U.S. domestic economy in a year, was approximately $16.8 trillion in 2014. Divide that by 365, and we have a lower bound of at least around US$46 billion a day changing hands between investors, producers and consumers of goods and services.

Over 75 percent of Americans have at least one credit card and 44 percent of households with credit cards hold balances. Americans held a total of $721 billion in outstanding balances on credit cards, according to the Federal Reserve. On average, an American between the ages of 18 and 65 has $4,717 of credit card debt.

Based on the Federal Reserve report, cash made up 31% of all transactions in terms of volume in 2016. That number is down from 40% in 2012, according to a previous report. Even with internet sales led by Amazon growing quickly, e-commerce represents less than 10 percent of all retail transactions. With the rise of cryptocurrencies as another digital cash alternative, you may be wondering if and when cash will no longer be part of our everyday lives. And, if you’re scratching your head thinking cash will never go away, here’s another fact: some countries have already started moving toward a cashless economy. [Sweden is leading the way.]

Some businesses do not accept cash because it takes too much time giving change, counting the money and balancing the register at the end of the day — plus going to the bank to make a deposit. Credit card terminals do it all for you…and there’s no cash for thieves to steal, or employees to palm.

THE NATIONAL DEBT

Let’s look at the national debt – our debt. This just in from the Washington Post: According to this dependable news source, our nation presently has a $22 trillion debt. We, as a nation, are living way beyond our revenue means. The interest we will pay on our debt next year is $482 billion, more than the Medicaid budget that provides health care for millions of Americans.  The Republicans are putting forward a plan that could create $4.3 trillion in new debt over 4 years.  On the other side of the isle, the Democrats are calling for a raise in taxes on the wealthiest Americans and expanding provisions for Medicaid and college benefits, plus Medicare for everyone.

According to Robert Reich, the Conservatives blame the deficit on social programs, such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, which they want to cut. The Liberals point to the tax breaks to corporations and the wealthy for the shortfall in revenues.

Then there are the illegitimate “charities” set up by the rich and famous to handle the transfer of huge sums of money without it being taxed—as in the recent college admissions cheating scandal in California with bribes paid to key players in elite colleges and universities by the rich and famous to secure seats for their privileged sons and daughters—-and the “loop-holes” in the tax code—-all of which account for much of the shortfall in revenues.

The question I have is this: To whom do we owe all this debt and pay all this interest? Well, here’s what my internet research found:

“The interest on the national debt is how much the federal government must pay on outstanding public debt each year. . . . As of September 2014, foreigners owned $6.06 trillion of U.S. debt, or approximately 47 percent of the debt held by the public of $12.8 trillion and 34 percent of the total debt of $17.8 trillion. As of 2018, the largest holders were ChinaJapan, Ireland, and Brazil.”

In other words, the big bankers — such as the Rockefeller Standard Oil dynasty in America and the Rothschild banking dynasty in Europe — the Federal Reserve, what Wilcock calls the heart of the Cabal, which began its unprecedented expansion in 1896 with the election of the imperialist president William McKinley.

According to [Harry V.] Martin, “Article I, Section 8, Clause 5 of the United States Constitution provides that Congress shall have the power to coin money and regulate the value thereof and of any foreign coins. But that is not the case. The United States government has no power to issue money, control the flow of money, or to even distribute it. That belongs to a private corporation, registered in the State of Delaware—the Federal Reserve Bank.”

Senator Ron Paul uttered the following words in a landmark Congressional speech from 2002. Ron Paul definitely seems to fulfill the wise old man archetype in our story, giving us the magic gift of knowledge that we still haven’t fully utilized against our global nemesis.

Since the creation of the Federal Reserve, middle and working-class Americans have been victimized by a boom-and-bust monetary policy. In addition, most Americans have suffered a steadily eroding purchasing power because of the Federal Reserve’s inflationary policies. This represents a real, if hidden, tax imposed on the American people.

From the Great Depression, to the stagnation of the seventies, to the burst of the dotcom bubble last year, every economic downturn suffered by the country over the last 80 years can be traced to Federal Reserve policy. The Fed has followed a consistent policy of flooding the economy with easy money, leading to a misallocation of resources and an artificial “boom” followed by a recession or depression when the Fed-created bubble bursts.

With a stable currency, American exporters will no longer be held hostage to an erratic monetary policy. Stabilizing the currency will also give Americans new incentives to save, as they will no longer have to fear inflation eroding their savings. (Wilcock)

The nemesis, then, is the Cabal with its high interest rates and greedy grip on the global economy. In order to use the Cabal’s debt-based economy to live—largely beyond our means—we have to pay interest to the Cabal. The only obvious way around the Cabal is to face it and defeat it. Adopting a cash-only policy would do just that—and that is an option. The president of the US could reset the nation’s economy by reinstating the gold standard and printing gold certificates, currency backed by gold rather than by debt. That could bankrupt the Federal Reserve and pull the rug out from under the feet of the Cabal. It could happen.

Of course, the obvious solution to personal debt is to live within our means and stop buying stuff we can really do without, so much of which ends up in storage units–which I notice more of them cropping up lately.  Do I hear an “Ouch!”?

THE NEMESIS WITHIN

The nemesis is often within as well as without, as Joseph Campbell acknowledges and includes in his story. It could be the flaws in the hero’s own character—arrogance, for example, or greed, or a weakness of some kind, such as cowardice. It could be racial prejudice, or prejudice of any and all kinds.

For example, White supremacists claim to fear the rise of Black power in a movement organized on social media and fueled by hatred. Some fear an invasion of immigrants taking over the country, and the workplace particularly. So, the nemesis for these is the taking over of America by other races, potentially depriving them of their jobs and entitlements—their Elixir of Immortality.

In these cases, the nemesis is clearly within and not in the Black or Hispanic or Muslim races.  Of course, the Black community sees the Whites as its nemesis, and they have every right to do so given their history of slavery by the White race. They’ve had a number of heroes, too, most celebrated of which is Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.—and they won their freedom . . . from slavery and segregation, but not from fear and prejudice.  On both sides of the racial divides, fear of being deprived of the Elixir of Immortality is the nemesis within.

As we face and overcome our fear of one another and our prejudice, and begin to love one another and treat each other with respect,  the nemesis is defeated and the Elixir of Immortality is immediately within reach. Racial divides disappear. One Human Race living in a world with no borders, can be the ultimate Elixir of Immortality for the entire world.

In the examples I cited above, the nemesis outside was either defeated or not, depending from which side we’re looking. But the nemesis inside remains unfaced and, therefore, undefeated. The nemesis inside—the flaw in one’s character—could be arrogance, and/or greed, prejudice, fear, or any number of flaws that prevent the hero from facing and defeating his nemesis and obtaining the Elixir of Immortality. And we cannot confront and defeat our nemesis until and unless we see what and where it is. Seeing the nemesis discloses and exposes it—and, by and large, it’s not “out there” but within. In reality, the nemesis is always inside, and only outside by way of projection and blame, which is projection—Wilcock describes it as the “projection of ego.”

With Christianity, the Elixir of Immortality is held beyond the reach of the faithful, who are told they are sinners who must repent of their sins and die in good grace and standing with the dogmas of the Church in order to “go to Heaven.” So, the Church itself is the nemesis—always has been.

The Scribes and Pharisees of Jesus’ time were berated by him for being hypocrites because they hoarded the Law and the Prophets, not entering the door to the Kingdom themselves and not allowing the people to enter it either.

It’s no different today. The Kingdom of Heaven is just as much “at hand” as it was when Jesus proclaimed it was over two-thousand years ago. That nemesis needs to be faced squarely and defeated by “perfect love,” the only way to cast out the fear instilled in the hearts of the people by the Church—fear of going to hell and suffering the loss of Paradise for eternity.  What nonsense. What betrayal of trust. What arrogance.

But fear has to be defeated by more than perfect love. The nemesis of the false ego self, which alone can know fear, can only be defeated by the emergence of the true hero, the authentic Self, whose immortal nature is love itself.

That said, I will share the Hero’s Journey from David Wilcock’s perspective in The Synchronicity Key in my next post. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

Anthropos: Being Fully Human

This is huge. I will be challenged in these next two or three post to my utmost capacity to synthesize, as I have been studying various authors and each one of them sheds a different light on the subject — and I will lean heavily upon them all for excerpts. So, I’ll just dive right in and let Spirit guide me where it will.

I will launch this multi-post consideration with this passage from logion 114 of the Gospel of Thomas:

Simon Peter said to him: “Let Mary leave us, for women are not fit for the life.” Jesus answered: “See, I have been guiding her so as to make her into a human [Anthropos]. She, too, will become a living breath like you. For any woman who becomes a human will enter into the Kingdom of God.”

Another translation of the same passage says it differently and more to the point I’m aiming to make:

Simon Peter said to them: “Mary should leave us because women are not worthy of the life.” Jesus responded: “Look, I’ll lead her in order to make her male so that she can become a living spirit as you males are. For each woman who makes herself male wll enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.”

In the first translation, the word “human” is used. In the second, the word “male” is used. I will call upon Jean-Yves Leloup for an interpretation of this poignant passage in her book The Gospel of Mary Magdalene:

The error of many translators is to render this as having something to do with being male. It is clear from the original Greek that the meaning
is that of anthropos (human being in the general sense), and not of andros (man in the masculine sense). It is true that in order to become whole, a human being must integrate in herself or himself the complementary gender. And this work or realization of wholeness is certainly not something that only or especially women have to do–we each have our own work of becoming an Anthropos, a fully human being. . . .

The term anthropos is also richer than the term androgyne, which is sometimes used as the translation of the former, for sexual and psychic
polarities form only a part of what must be integrated in becoming fully human.

The other part is contained in the words “living breath” or “living spirit,” one’s true Self. And here I would introduce a consideration of the differences between male and masculine and between female and feminine. The first, male, relates to physical form, whereas masculine relates to spiritual or energetic essences. The same is applicable for female and feminine. I will address this difference after this clarifying explanation by the same author:

This recalls a passage from the Gospel of Matthew:

But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. He who is able to receive this, let him receive it.”

Some scholars have detected here the hand of an editor who was influenced by some sort of dualistic or ascetic teaching, one that was to
influence Christianity’s monastic departure from Old Testament teachings. Indeed, it does seem implausible that Yeshua would advocate
destroying the work of the Creator. How could he who claimed to be One with the Father advocate such mutilation of his creatures?

Others explain this by an improper translation or transmission of Yeshua’s words. The word eunuch should be replaced by the word androgyne. Unfortunately the latter word (like so many others) was and still is often misunderstood and reduced to a sexual meaning that evokes some
sort of freakish bisexual mixture that is neither male nor female–hardly an advantage for someone who is already having difficulties in finding his or her identity!

As in so many other domains, one can only transcend that which one has fully known and accepted. One must live one’s own sexuality in one’s
own body before speaking of a higher state of androgyny. As in psychotherapy, one must first have an ego that is as sane and stable as possible before pretending to have access to what is often (perhaps too often) called the Self.

This is why the authors of the Gospel of Mary considered it so important that Yeshua really lived his masculine sexuality, perhaps with Miriam, perhaps with another woman. This was necessary in order for him to become the archetype of synthesis, the Anthropos that he was. I prefer the term anthropos to androgyne because the former word still leads to confusion today, in spite of a widespread contemporary appreciation of
the value of spiritual integration and balance of male and female polarities in us. Rather than defending the literal translation of the original
word used in certain early Christian texts, it is preferable here to defend, through the word we choose as its translation, the truth and richness of meaning in what the original word communicates.

What is important is to become whole. This is what makes us able to truly love, not from our sense of lack, but from our plenitude, as Yeshua
himself loved us.

In the same way, we can say that it is because Miriam of Magdala fully lives her feminine sexuality, and because she fully accepts and integrates the masculine dimension of her being, that she is able to speak with authentic knowledge of the Word–though today, as during her time, there are still those who would deny her this. But it is only after the long and slow work of becoming fully human that she can legitimately speak, as an Anthropos, of the fullness of a humanity that, like Yeshua’s, is open to the Divine and transparent to its clear light–the most invisible and subtle of lights.

Of course one can take or leave Leloup’s interpretation of these passages. I personally resonate with his words of clarification.  For one thing, he has helped me come to terms with my own conflicted view of homosexuality, having been somewhat biased by my unsavory confrontation with pedofilia in my seminary years studying for the Roman Catholic priesthood, which left me with a deep aversion to anything the looked like men doing anything sexual to or with other men. But, that’s mine to work with and through.

MAKE THE TWO ONE

Masculine and feminine energies exist as two seemingly separate forces only in this “creating universe,” this illusory world of material forms, as Walter Russell expounds upon in his 1926 signature masterpiece THE UNIVERSAL ONE. The energy out of which these forces are born and in which they move and have their being in One, male and female bodies not withstanding. There is only One who occupies these capacities, and that One is what Jesus calls the “Living Spirit” and “Living Breath” in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the Gospel of Thomas. With this clarification–and with what I have written about in my previous post “The Imaginal Realm: As Above So Below”–see if you can “see” with the spiritual eyes of your heart what is being conveyed in the following passage from The Gospel of Thomas (22a & 22b):

Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to his disciples: “These infants taking milk are like those who enter the Kingdom.”

His disciples asked him: “If we are infants will we enter the Kingdom?”

Jesus responded: ” When you make the two into one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the upper like the lower and the lower like the upper, and thus make the male and the female the same, so that the male isn’t male and the female isn’t female. When you make an eye to replace an eye, and a hand to replace a hand, and a foot to replace a foot, and an image to replace an image, then you will enter the Kingdom.”

I could ponder this passage for days and still not comprehend with my intellect what the Teacher is saying. And what does it have to do with babies being suckled? He was obviously coming from a wisdom higher than that of the world. One can understand why he once told his disciples that he had much more to share with them, but they could not bear it. I wonder if we are able to bear it today with our highly educated intellects. It has been said that understanding if of the heart. This teaching has to be taken into the heart for understanding, something that the books I have been reading this past year have helped me to do.

The Teacher in speaking here from the standpoint of creating in and from the imaginal realm, where images are sown as seeds from above into the soil of human consciousness. He is speaking of the alchemy of begetting as compared to the chemistry of making. “Begotten not made” is a phrase found in the Nicene Creed referring to the “only begotten Son of the Father.” This is historically known as “Fifth Way Love,” which I will consider in my next post.

ATTUNEMENT WITH LOVE

From the standpoint of subtle energy healing through what has come to be called the “Attunement Process” in my field of service, the conscious focus of the practitioner is not on the analogue but on the image; not on the distorted physical form, perhaps fragmented and depleted, but on the perfection of the spiritual body which is whole and vital.  Our work is primarily done in the secret place of the Heaven, in Love’s domain, where we conceive images of wholeness and vitality. That wholeness and vitality is being transferred moment by moment to the physical body via this imaginal realm of spiritual substance — “pneumaplasm”– which bridges the two worlds that are one in reality.  Attunement is with the vibrational tone of Love.

This is what the Teacher called the “Kingdom.” When we as healers, or as complete human beings, anthropos, access and enter into the imaginal realm — which we can only do as Beings coming from above — where the images of healthy form and function are available for transference to the physical body, then we can make an eye to replace an eye, and a hand to replace a hand, and a foot to replace a foot, and an image to replace an image. From the view in the Heaven, the inside is like the outside and the outside like the inside; the upper is like the lower and the lower like the upper; then the male isn’t male and the female isn’t female but they are the same. We are not male and female. We are Anthropos, fully Human and living spirits, with masculine and feminine energies blended together in our incarnating capacities. We are sons and daughters of God. “Ye are gods.”

As a segue to my next post, I will close with an excerpt from Cynthia Bourgeault’s signature work, The Meaning of MARY MAGDALENE – Discovering The Woman at the Heart of Christianity. She quotes here a passage from the Gospel of Philip:

“The one who creates objects works outwardly in the external world. The one who labors in secret, however, works within the icon, hidden inwardly from others. The one who creates make objects visible to the world. The one who conceives gives birth to children in the Realm of the Unseen.”

In this complex distinction . . . Philip insists that begetting must come “from above”. . . .  It requires a free and conscious regeneration in the Spirit. “Begotten” is an alchemy in which spirit actively participates, and its fruit is the anthropos, or completed human being.

Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

And the “Rock” Comes Tumbling Down

It was inevitable. Founded, not on the solid rock of Truth, but on the quicksand of fabricated lies and deception, along with redactions of scriptures, the Church of Rome is teetering on the edge of utter collapse – its existential crisis being triggered by cumulative disclosures of the irreparable harm its clergy has inflicted upon innocent children over the decades.

(Note: a redaction is done when a scribe or editor replaces what is written with what he/she understands it to say rather than what it actually says; to slant or frame its meaning or simply remove the text before publication or release.)

Suppression of women at the core

The suppression of women is at the core of this crisis. By denying and suppressing women – and thereby the Divine Feminine – which it has done since its inception – the Catholic Church has denied and shut out the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit of God is the Divine Feminine, as we considered with excerpts from The Gospel of the Beloved Companion in my previous post

I wrote about this current “breaking news” and disclosure of the criminal activity on the part of Catholic clergy and the cover-up by the Catholic hierarchy, all the way up to the “Holy See” in the Vatican, back in the 1990’s when I was creating the first draft of my book Sacred Anatomy.  Under the chapter heading “Sacred Sex” and subheading “The Holy Grail” I wrote:

The suppression of the mysteries of feminine sexuality may well be at the root of the scandalous turbulence we are witnessing today in the Catholic Church relative to pedophile priests. Thwarting the natural design and purposes of life for human beings can only lead to distortions in behavior. The Divine Feminine cannot be left out of human experience without repercussions. She will find her way into human relationships at the most intimate levels without respect to gender, and those who attempt to deny Her will find themselves seeking union with Her in the shadows of deviant behavior with the same irresistible passion that drives them to seek union with the Divine, for She is divine.

Historically, the Feminine Principle was once the centerpiece of much controversy and, as we have noted, persecution–strangely enough focused in a hatred and fear of midwives who posed a threat to the status quo of civilized decency because of their knowledge and skills in minimizing the pain in childbirth, when painful childbirth was taught by the Church to be the punishment for original sin. During the early centuries of the Christian era, women’s sexuality was regarded with fear. Knowledge of the secrets of the Feminine was considered to be so fiercely powerful that it posed a unique threat to Christian thinking and to the authority of the Church itself. This gave rise to the atrocities perpetrated by the Church against the Cathars during the Albegensian Crusades in thirteenth century France when over a hundred thousand, mostly women, were massacred.

Quest for the “Holy Grail”- The Divine Feminine

Like in the Arthurian Legend of the quest for the Holy Grail, in my opinion it is their own Divine Feminine, suppressed by their imposed vow of celibacy, that these pedophile priests seek to reclaim and have union with, a quality so expressive in young boys and girls. I myself was cuddled and molested by a priest when I was an altar-boy. My impression even then was that this Dutchman needed to be married and have children to love and wrestle with on the floor – or shower with, as one priest, my spiritual advisor no less, had me do while in seminary. I was fourteen then, and sexually fondled my very first day in seminary by a church deacon, who was directly relocated after I reported the incident to the Rector.  Weird stuff I thought back then. Not so weird as I see it today. The feminine and masculine energies belong together and function naturally when allowed to be together as equal partners in co-creation. Finding these dual energies in ourselves as individuals and allowing them to emerge and balance one another is a worthy spiritual path to take toward true Self emergence. To ignore this essential aspect of our Humanity can only lead to an eruption and take over of the shadow side of our human nature.

Dissolution the only solution

There is one solution to the Catholic Church’s crisis that could avert its demise: dissolve the dishonest foundation upon which it was built — the patriarchal “rock” of Peter, the apostle who openly despised women.  This could easily be done by the Church recognizing Mary Magdalene as the Apostle of apostles and the Beloved Companion of Jesus and sanction the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the Gospel of Thomas by including them in the Codex of Holy Scripture – then by eliminating the Acts of the Apostles and all of Paul’s letters and gospels, basically eradicate Paulism altogether, which is what Christianity is in reality.

The next step would be to allow priests to marry and have a family, just as the Episcopal Church does, and allow women to become priests.  Canon Law would have to be abolished along with all the laws that the Church has held over the heads of the faithful, including its dogmas relating to “original sin,” not mentioned once by Jesus, not even in passing as he admonished us to humble ourselves and become like little children in order to enter the Kingdom of the Spirit. He didn’t say “Oh, by the way, they have to be baptized to wash away original sin so they don’t end up in Limbo.” No, all that came with the Council of Nicea along with the doctrines of mortal and venial sin, punishment in hell and reward in heaven, along with its “Apostles Creed.” That all has to be abolished – in my humble opinion and righteous judgement anyway.

In essence, the Church of Rome must undo itself as a legitimate entity sanctioned by God and established by Jesus.  The Vatican must be dissolved and liquidated, its enormous wealth distributed among the poor and those innocent ones its clergy has violated.  Following the undoing of the Roman Church, Christianity and all of its denominations need to be purged of all its fabricated doctrines and fear-based theology then renewed by adopting the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the Gospel of Thomas as providing the true accounting of the life of Yeshua/Jesus and his message of love and compassion to the world.

The Church of Rome, not of Jesus

Christianity was established as the religion of Rome by the Emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicea in the fourth century AD, which laid down the infalible laws by which all professing Christians were to be governed.  This in contrast to the one law that was given by Jesus to his apostles: the commandment to Love the Lord our God with all and each other as our self. In fact, Jesus instructed them to make no laws other than the one He had given them.

Tell others of what you have seen, but do not lay down any rules beyond what I appointed you; and do not give a law like the lawgiver, lest you be constrained by it. (The Gospel of the Beloved Companion).

Such a sensible guideline and simple instruction he gave to those simple men and women as they set out to tell the world about what they had heard and seen.

What really went down after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus

What happened after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is alluded to in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. This excerpt follows on the heels of my previous post wherein I share Mary Magdalene’s account of what Yeshua/Jesus showed her in a vision of a great tree whose roots he said are in the earth of her body and whose trunk extended upward through the “five regions of Humanity to the crown which is the Kingdom of the Spirit.” This tree had eight boughs and eight gates, upon which she ascended and through which she entered respectively, eventually finding herself at the crown where she beheld the Spirit in the form of “a woman of extraordinary beauty, clothed in garments of brilliant white,” who embraced her and freed her soul from the world.

Sounds like a description of the Tree of Life embodied by the Seven Endocrine Glands and the seven chakras – of which there are thought to be eight or more. You can read what happened after that in my previous post

This is how the disciples reacted to what Mary Magdalene had told them of her encounter with their Rabbi:

Many of the disciples did not understand what she had said, and grumbled against her amongst themselves. Andreas therefore answered and said to the brethren, “Say what you wish to say about what she has said. I at least do not believe that the Rabbi said this, for these teachings are certainly strange and complicated ideas.”

Shimon Kefa (Peter) answered and spoke concerning these same things. He questioned them about Yeshua and said, “Did he really speak privately with this woman and not openly to us? Are we to turn about and listen to her? Did he prefer her to us?”

Then the Migdalah [Mary Magdalene] wept and said to Shimon Kefa, “My brother Shimon Kifa, Think that I have thought this up myself in my heart, or that I am lying about Yeshua? Only from the truth again I tell you that what I have said is the truth.”

And Levi answered and said to Shimon Kifa, “Shimon Kifa, you have always been hot-tempered. Now I see you contending against this woman like the adversaries. But if the Rabbi made her worthy, who are we indeed to reject her? Surely as his companion, Yeshua knew her better than all others. That is why he loved her more than us.

Rather, let us be ashamed and do as she says. Let us put on perfect Humanity and acquire it as she has done, and separate as he commanded us and preach the testimony of the Son of Humanity, not laying down any other rule or other law beyond that which he gave us.”

Here’s the clincher:

And when they heard this, they were divided, and argued amongst themselves. And therefore they began to leave separately, and go forth to proclaim and to teach what they understood of the words of the Rabbi.

“…what they understood…” and not what Mary Magdalene told them what Jesus had said. In other words, they refused to listen to a woman, even the very companion of their Master, who alone witnessed his resurrection from the dead and spoke to him “privately.” That was just too much humility for their male egos to yield to and take on.  And that moment was the beginning of the end of Christianity before it ever became the religion of Rome. It was doomed to failure.  And we are witnesses to that failure today, God help us.

I will close with these words of the author of The Gospel of the Beloved Companion, Jehanne De Quillan – yes, a woman, no less and fittingly so:

My question is this: when will orthodox Christianity grow up? Surely it is time to put aside these antiquated, man-made principles, and start to look for the real treasure that Yeshua left us two thousand years ago–the Kingdom of God that lies within each one of us–a treasure that requires no pope, bishop, priest, pastor, or preacher for us to discover the treasure he defined in a single saying:

“…BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM…”

Be love. Be loved.

The Gospel of the Beloved Companion

I interrupt this series to bring forward into the light of day something new and enlightening, something I have never seen in the Canonical Gospels of the New Testament Bible. It’s found in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, which reveals a different view of the life and public ministry of Jesus — whose historic name, by the way, was “Yeshua.” I found this while reading THE GOSPEL OF THE BELOVED COMPANION  by Jehanne De Quillan, who translated her gospel directly from the original Greek.

The setting for these words spoken by Mary Magdalene is a room in the “House of Bethany” where the disciples of Jesus had gathered just after the crucifixion and resurrection of their Master. As the Canonical Gospels relate the story, Mary of Bethany – whom Jesus had called “the Migdalah” (which means tower of strength and courage) – went to the tomb where Jesus’s body had been placed and found the stone rolled back and the tomb empty. Mistaking a presence in the garden as the gardener, she asked where he had taken the body, at which point Jesus called her by her name, “Miryam,” to which she answered “Rabbouni.” Being moved to embrace her Beloved, Jesus said to her “‘Miryam, do not hold to me, for I am not of the flesh, neither am I one with the spirit….'” He then asked her to go to his disciples and tell them the good news of his resurrection so that, as he put it, “‘all would know that my words are true and that any who should choose to believe them and keep to my commandments will follow me on their last day.'” [These words are packed with historical significance – which I may unpack in a future post.]

So Mary went to the disciples and told them how she had seen and spoken with Jesus. They apparently were a bit disbelieving and even jealous of her intimate rapport with their Master, especially Peter, who said “‘Sister, we know that he loved you more than any other among women. Tell us the words of the Rabbi, which you remember, which you know and understand, but we do not, nor have we heard them.'”

And here is what she reportedly answered them:

What is hidden from you, I will proclaim to you.

My Master spoke thus to me. He said, “Miryam, blessed are you who came into being before coming into being, and whose eyes are set upon the Kingdom, who from the beginning has understood and followed my teachings. Only from the truth I tell you there is a great tree within you that does not change, summer or winter, and its leaves do not fall. Whosoever listens to my words and ascends to its crown will not taste death, but will know the truth of eternal life.”

Then he showed me a vision in which I saw a great tree that seemed to reach unto the heavens; and as I saw these things, he said “The roots of this tree are in the earth, which is your body. The trunk extends upward through the five regions of Humanity to the Crown, which is the Kingdom of the Spirit.

There are eight great boughs upon this tree and each bough bears its own fruit, which you must eat in all its fullness. As the fruit of the tree of the Garden [referring to the “fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”] caused Adam and Chav’vah [Eve?] to fall into darkness, so this fruit will grant to you the Light of the Spirit that is Eternal Life. Between each bough is a gate and a guardian who challenges the unworthy who try to pass.

“The leaves at the bottom of the tree are thick and plentiful, so no light penetrates to illuminate the way. But fear not, for I am the Way and the Light, and I tell you that as one ascends the tree, the leaves that block one from the Light are fewer, so it is possible to see all more clearly. Those who seek to ascend must free themselves of the world. If you do not free yourself from the world, you will die in the darkness that is the root of the tree. But if you free yourself, you will rise and reach the Light that is the Eternal Life of the Spirit.”

She continues to relate how she ascended the tree, bough by bough, entering gate by gate, until she reached the top crown of the tree. Each bough had its own unique requirement and its own unique gifts.

On the first level, she had to release all judgement and wrath in order to receive the nourishment of the gifts of love and compassion.

On the second bough, she had to release ignorance and intolerance to receive the gifts of wisdom and understanding.

To enter the third gate on the level of the third great bough, she had to release duplicity and arrogance in order to receive the gifts of honor and humility.

At the  level of the fourth great bough, she had to confront and free herself of the weakness of the flesh and the illusion of her fears. Here she received the gifts of strength and courage.

Then she says this about her remaining ascent upward:

Only then, my Master told me, when you have rejected the deceiver, can you pass through the hardest gate of all, to attain the fifth bough and the fruit of clarity and truth. Only then will you know the clarity and truth of your soul and, knowing your Self for the first time, understand that you are a child of the Living Spirit. And as my soul moved upward, I realized that I could no longer hear the voice of the world, as all had become as silence.

Then in the Light above, I saw the sixth bough, the one that bore the fruit of power and healing. My Master told me that when you truly have eaten of the fruit of the clarity and truth of your Self, then could you partake of the fruit of power and healing. The power to heal your own soul and thereby make it ready to ascend to the seventh bough, where it will be filled by the fruit of Light and Goodness.

And I saw my soul, now free of all darkness, ascend again to be filled with the Light and Goodness that is the Spirit. And I was filled with a fierce Joy as my soul turned to fire and flew upwards in the flames from whence my Master showed me the eighth and final bough, upon which burned the fruit of the grace and beauty of the Spirit.

And I felt my soul and all that I could see dissolve and vanish in a brilliant Light, in a likeness unto the sun. And in the Light, I beheld a woman of extraordinary beauty, clothed in garments of brilliant white. The figure extended its arms and I felt my soul drawn into its embrace and in that moment I was freed from the world and realized that the fetter of forgetfulness was temporary. From now on, I shall rest through the course of the time of the age in silence. And then, as if from a great distance, I heard the voice of my Master tell me, “Miryam, whom I have called the Migdalah, now you have seen the all, and have known the truth of your Self; the truth that I Am. Now you have become the completion of completions.” And thus the vision ended.

“This is what my Master has told and shown me, and only from the truth I tell you, that all that I have revealed to you is true.”

When the Migdalah had told of all the Yeshua and said and done, she fell silent, since it was in that silence that Yeshua had spoken with her and revealed these truths.

And she has remained silent ever since. The Catholic Church and all of Christianity has kept Jesus’s Beloved Companion, along with the feminine in general, suppressed and silenced. But she is silent no longer. It’s no coincidence, I feel, that this Gospel of Mary Magdalene, The Beloved Companion has surfaced in this day and at this specific time of the rise of the feminine movement. It may even be vibrationally causal relative to that movement.

This passage bears much fruit for meditation. Just the revelation that the Spirit is feminine, “a woman of extraordinary beauty, clothed in garments of brilliant white,” is thought provoking in the context of a male-dominating world and religion.  Here is the Divine Feminine revealed to the world through Mary Magdalene, Jesus’s beloved companion.  Earlier in the text of this Gospel, Jesus refers to the Spirit as “she.” I felt a refreshing breeze blow through my soul as I read his reference to the Spirit as feminine — my own feminine energies, no doubt, stirring with recognition and acknowledgment.

In rejecting the Divine Feminine, the Church rejected the Spirit, leaving it spiritless and dead – my own personal impression of the Catholic Church and its priesthood, to which I once aspired as a young man. There is more spirit expressed in the Pentecostal religion, and in the worship service of the Black churches I’ve visited, than in all of Catholicism – in my humble opinion anyway.

I will leave you to your own thoughts and realizations and return to share some of my own in another post.  Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

“The Secret of Light”

This is without a doubt the most challenging blog I’ve yet to attempt writing, for my subject is a very deep and complex thinker and writer. No one that I have read thus far has written so eloquently and authoritatively on the nature of Light as has Walter Russell. I am reading his book The Secret of Light for the second time and it amazes me how it seems that it’s really for the first time – even with the highlights proving that I’ve read it before. It’s been a few years since my first reading, and it seems I’ve evolved in consciousness enough to be able to hear more deeply what he is saying in his unique articulate manner of word usage – as you will soon see from the excerpts I wish to share in this series. So, let’s dive right into the remarkable mind of Walter Russell (1871-1963) to see what wisdom and understanding we might glean from his writings. I will simply start out with his statement of intention from the Author’s Forward:

Walter Russell

Jesus said “GOD IS LIGHT,” and no man of that day knew what He meant. The day is now here when all men must know what Jesus meant when He said “GOD IS LIGHT.”

For within the secret of Light is vast knowledge yet unrevealed to man. Light is all there is; it is all we have to deal with, but we do not yet know what it is. The purpose of this message is to tell what it is.

And, of course, the rest of the book does just that: it tells what Light is – and it’s nothing like anything you or I have imagined it to be or knew it to be. We’ve simply taken it for granted. Now, as I recall other words Jesus is recorded to have spoken, Walter’s words ring true to His words about the “kingdom of heaven” being “within you and all around you. . . . Repent [turn around], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Light, that which all of creation is made of, is within us and all around us. Look again and see clearly that the kingdom – the governance – of Light, of God, is at hand.  We do not have to die in order to arrive in heaven – if, indeed, dying were even possible – for we are there already in the here and now.  As for death, according the Russell, there is no such thing – but that’s a later post of this series on The Secret of Light.

There is no way that I can simplify a subject matter that is so complex, and yet so simple and logical, that it defies further simplification for further explanation. So, I will not attempt to explain the secret of Light, and therefore of God, as Walter Russell does so uniquely. I will let his words meet your eyes and intellect directly without my interpretations. I will simply limit my interference to your read with occasional comments and impressions. What is of utmost importance is that we human beings come to know what is real and what is mere illusion in the world in which we live and have our being. I will start this series with chapter twelve, entitled “LIGHT,” taking into consideration all that has been considered in previous chapters that may enhance our comprehension and understanding. Enjoy the read.

Chapter XII

LIGHT

Light cannot be seen; it can only be known. Light is still. The sense of sight cannot respond to stillness. That which the eyes “feel” and believe to be Light is but wave motion simulating the idea of Light. Like all things else in this electric wave universe the idea of Light cannot be produced. Electric waves simulate idea only. They do not become idea.

When man sees the light of the sun he believes that he is actually seeing light when the nerves of his eyes are but “feeling” the intense, rapid, shortwave vibrations of the kind of wave motion which he senses as incandescence. The intensely vibrant electric current mirrored into the senses of the eyes fairly burns them. They cannot stand that high rate of vibration. The eyes would be destroyed by such a vibration, but light would not be the cause of that destruction. Fast motion, simulating light, would be the cause. It would be like sending a high voltage electric current over a wire so fine that the current would burn it out.

Man likewise cannot see darkness. The nerves of his eyes which sense motion slow down to a rate of vibration which he can no longer “feel.”

Man is so accustomed to the idea that he actually sees light in various intensities illuminating various substances to greater or lesser degree that it is difficult for him to realize that his own senses are but acting as mirrors to reflect various intensities of wave motion. But that is all that is happening.

Every electrically conditioned thing in Nature reflects the vibrations of every other thing, to fulfill its desire to
synchronize its vibrations with every other thing. All matter is the motion of light. All motion is expressed in waves. All light waves are mirrors which reflect each other’s condition unto the farthermost star.

This is an electrically conditioned wave universe. All wave conditions are forever seeking oneness. For this reason all sensation responds to all other sensation.

IS LIGHT A WAVE OR CORPUSCLE?

Much controversy has arisen as to whether light is corpuscular, as Newton claimed it to be, or a wave. There is much evidence in favor of both theories. It is both. Light is expressed by motion. All motion is wave motion. All waves are expressed by fields of equal and opposite pressures of two-way motion. The entire volume within wave fields is filled with the two opposite expressions of motion-the positive expression which compresses light into solids, and the negative expression which expands it into space surrounding solids.

All space within wave fields is curved. Curvature ends at planes of zero curvature which bound all wave fields.
These boundary planes of omnipresent magnetic Light act as mirrors to reflect all curvature into all other wave
fields in the universe, and as fulcrums from which motion in one wave field is universally repeated.

ALL MATTER IS WAVE MOTION

Together these constitute what we call matter and space. It has been difficult to conceive light as being purely corpuscular, for light is presumed to fill all space. Space is not empty. It is full of wave motion. Corpuscles of matter are one half of wave cycles of light. Space is the other half.

There need be no mystery as to whether light is corpuscular or wave, for waves of motion which simulate the light and darkness of space are all there is.

The light and motion of solid matter, and of gaseous matter of space, differs only in volume and condition. Water of earth is compressed into small volume while water of the heavens is expanded thousands of time in volume. Each condition is the opposite half of the cycle of water.

Water vapor is water turned inside-out. It again becomes water by turning outside-in. Expansion contraction sequences result from this process.

ALL MATTER IS SIMULATED LIGHT

Water of the heavens still is water, and it still is light waves. No change whatsoever has taken place between
the waters of earth and those of the heavens except a change of its condition from positive to negative pre-ponderance. This change is due solely to a change of its direction in respect to its center of gravity.

All dense cold matter, such as iron, stone, wood, and all growing or decaying things, are light. We do not think of them as light but all are waves of motion, and all waves of motion are light.

Light is all there is in the spiritual universe of knowing, and simulation of that Light in opposite extensions is all there is in the electric wave universe of sensing. The simulation of Light in matter is not Light. There is no Light in matter.

Perhaps the confusion which attends this idea would be lessened if we classify everything concerning the spiritual universe, such as life, intelligence, truth, power, knowledge and balance as being the ONE LIGHT of KNOWING, and everything concerning matter and motion as being the TWO SIMULATED LIGHTS of thinking.

Thinking expresses knowing in matter but matter does not think, nor does it know.

Thinking also expresses life, truth, idea, power and balance by recording the ideas of those qualities in the two lights of matter in motion, but matter does not live, nor is it truth, balance or idea, even though it simulates those spiritual qualities.

Man’s confusion concerning this differentiation lies in his long assumption of the reality of matter. His assumption that his body is his Self, that his knowledge is in his brain, and that he lives and dies because his body integrates and disintegrates, has been so fundamental a part of his thinking that it is difficult for him to reverse his thinking to the fact that matter is but motion and has no reality beyond simulating reality.

The light which we think we see is but motion. We do not see light. We feel the wave vibrations set up by the
motion which simulates light, but the motion of electric waves which simulate light is not that which it simulates.

Let’s take a break from this dense reading and give our brains an opportunity to digest and assimilate what Russell has thus far presented. I’ll continue next week. Thank you for joining me in this blog series “The Secret of Light.”
