Creating the New Earth Together

And the “Rock” Comes Tumbling Down

It was inevitable. Founded, not on the solid rock of Truth, but on the quicksand of fabricated lies and deception, along with redactions of scriptures, the Church of Rome is teetering on the edge of utter collapse – its existential crisis being triggered by cumulative disclosures of the irreparable harm its clergy has inflicted upon innocent children over the decades. 

(Note: a redaction is done when a scribe or editor replaces what is written with what he/she understands it to say rather than what it actually says; to slant or frame its meaning or simply remove the text before publication or release.)

Suppression of women at the core

The suppression of women is at the core of this crisis. By denying and suppressing women – and thereby the Divine Feminine – which it has done since its inception – the Catholic Church has denied and shut out the Holy Spirit. For the Holy Spirit of God is the Divine Feminine, as we considered with excerpts from The Gospel of the Beloved Companion in my previous post. 

I wrote about this current “breaking news” and disclosure of the criminal activity on the part of Catholic clergy and the cover-up by the Catholic hierarchy, all the way up to the “Holy See” in the Vatican, back in the 1990’s when I was creating the first draft of my book Sacred Anatomy.  Under the chapter heading “Sacred Sex” and subheading “The Holy Grail” I wrote:

The suppression of the mysteries of feminine sexuality may well be at the root of the scandalous turbulence we are witnessing today in the Catholic Church relative to pedophile priests. Thwarting the natural design and purposes of life for human beings can only lead to distortions in behavior. The Divine Feminine cannot be left out of human experience without repercussions. She will find her way into human relationships at the most intimate levels without respect to gender, and those who attempt to deny Her will find themselves seeking union with Her in the shadows of deviant behavior with the same irresistible passion that drives them to seek union with the Divine, for She is divine.

Historically, the Feminine Principle was once the centerpiece of much controversy and, as we have noted, persecution–strangely enough focused in a hatred and fear of midwives who posed a threat to the status quo of civilized decency because of their knowledge and skills in minimizing the pain in childbirth, when painful childbirth was taught by the Church to be the punishment for original sin. During the early centuries of the Christian era, women’s sexuality was regarded with fear. Knowledge of the secrets of the Feminine was considered to be so fiercely powerful that it posed a unique threat to Christian thinking and to the authority of the Church itself. This gave rise to the atrocities perpetrated by the Church against the Cathars during the Albegensian Crusades in thirteenth century France when over a hundred thousand, mostly women, were massacred.

Quest for the “Holy Grail”- The Divine Feminine

Like in the Arthurian Legend of the quest for the Holy Grail, in my opinion it is their own Divine Feminine, suppressed by their imposed vow of celibacy, that these pedophile priests seek to reclaim and have union with, a quality so expressive in young boys and girls. I myself was cuddled and molested by a priest when I was an altar-boy. My impression even then was that this Dutchman needed to be married and have children to love and wrestle with on the floor – or shower with, as one priest, my spiritual advisor no less, had me do while in seminary. I was fourteen then, and sexually fondled my very first day in seminary by a church deacon, who was directly relocated after I reported the incident to the Rector.  Weird stuff I thought back then. Not so weird as I see it today. The feminine and masculine energies belong together and function naturally when allowed to be together as equal partners in co-creation. Finding these dual energies in ourselves as individuals and allowing them to emerge and balance one another is a worthy spiritual path to take toward true Self emergence. To ignore this essential aspect of our Humanity can only lead to an eruption and take over of the shadow side of our human nature.  

Dissolution the only solution  

There is one solution to the Catholic Church’s crisis that could avert its demise: dissolve the dishonest foundation upon which it was built — the patriarchal “rock” of Peter, the apostle who openly despised women.  This could easily be done by the Church recognizing Mary Magdalene as the Apostle of apostles and the Beloved Companion of Jesus and sanction the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the Gospel of Thomas by including them in the Codex of Holy Scripture – then by eliminating the Acts of the Apostles and all of Paul’s letters and gospels, basically eradicate Paulism altogether, which is what Christianity is in reality. 

The next step would be to allow priests to marry and have a family, just as the Episcopal Church does, and allow women to become priests.  Canon Law would have to be abolished along with all the laws that the Church has held over the heads of the faithful, including its dogmas relating to “original sin,” not mentioned once by Jesus, not even in passing as he admonished us to humble ourselves and become like little children in order to enter the Kingdom of the Spirit. He didn’t say “Oh, by the way, they have to be baptized to wash away original sin so they don’t end up in Limbo.” No, all that came with the Council of Nicea along with the doctrines of mortal and venial sin, punishment in hell and reward in heaven, along with its “Apostles Creed.” That all has to be abolished – in my humble opinion and righteous judgement anyway. 

In essence, the Church of Rome must undo itself as a legitimate entity sanctioned by God and established by Jesus.  The Vatican must be dissolved and liquidated, its enormous wealth distributed among the poor and those innocent ones its clergy has violated.  Following the undoing of the Roman Church, Christianity and all of its denominations need to be purged of all its fabricated doctrines and fear-based theology then renewed by adopting the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and the Gospel of Thomas as providing the true accounting of the life of Yeshua/Jesus and his message of love and compassion to the world. 

The Church of Rome, not of Jesus 

Christianity was established as the religion of Rome by the Emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicea in the fourth century AD, which laid down the infalible laws by which all professing Christians were to be governed.  This in contrast to the one law that was given by Jesus to his apostles: the commandment to Love the Lord our God with all and each other as our self. In fact, Jesus instructed them to make no laws other than the one He had given them.

Tell others of what you have seen, but do not lay down any rules beyond what I appointed you; and do not give a law like the lawgiver, lest you be constrained by it. (The Gospel of the Beloved Companion).

Such a sensible guideline and simple instruction he gave to those simple men and women as they set out to tell the world about what they had heard and seen.

What really went down after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus

What happened after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is alluded to in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene. This excerpt follows on the heels of my previous post wherein I share Mary Magdalene’s account of what Yeshua/Jesus showed her in a vision of a great tree whose roots he said are in the earth of her body and whose trunk extended upward through the “five regions of Humanity to the crown which is the Kingdom of the Spirit.” This tree had eight boughs and eight gates, upon which she ascended and through which she entered respectively, eventually finding herself at the crown where she beheld the Spirit in the form of “a woman of extraordinary beauty, clothed in garments of brilliant white,” who embraced her and freed her soul from the world.

Sounds like a description of the Tree of Life embodied by the Seven Endocrine Glands and the seven chakras – of which there are thought to be eight or more. You can read what happened after that in my previous post. 

This is how the disciples reacted to what Mary Magdalene had told them of her encounter with their Rabbi:

Many of the disciples did not understand what she had said, and grumbled against her amongst themselves. Andreas therefore answered and said to the brethren, “Say what you wish to say about what she has said. I at least do not believe that the Rabbi said this, for these teachings are certainly strange and complicated ideas.”

Shimon Kefa (Peter) answered and spoke concerning these same things. He questioned them about Yeshua and said, “Did he really speak privately with this woman and not openly to us? Are we to turn about and listen to her? Did he prefer her to us?”

Then the Migdalah [Mary Magdalene] wept and said to Shimon Kefa, “My brother Shimon Kifa, Think that I have thought this up myself in my heart, or that I am lying about Yeshua? Only from the truth again I tell you that what I have said is the truth.”

And Levi answered and said to Shimon Kifa, “Shimon Kifa, you have always been hot-tempered. Now I see you contending against this woman like the adversaries. But if the Rabbi made her worthy, who are we indeed to reject her? Surely as his companion, Yeshua knew her better than all others. That is why he loved her more than us.

Rather, let us be ashamed and do as she says. Let us put on perfect Humanity and acquire it as she has done, and separate as he commanded us and preach the testimony of the Son of Humanity, not laying down any other rule or other law beyond that which he gave us.”

Here’s the clincher:

And when they heard this, they were divided, and argued amongst themselves. And therefore they began to leave separately, and go forth to proclaim and to teach what they understood of the words of the Rabbi.

“…what they understood…” and not what Mary Magdalene told them what Jesus had said. In other words, they refused to listen to a woman, even the very companion of their Master, who alone witnessed his resurrection from the dead and spoke to him “privately.” That was just too much humility for their male egos to yield to and take on.  And that moment was the beginning of the end of Christianity before it ever became the religion of Rome. It was doomed to failure.  And we are witnesses to that failure today, God help us. 

I will close with these words of the author of The Gospel of the Beloved Companion, Jehanne De Quillan – yes, a woman, no less and fittingly so:

My question is this: when will orthodox Christianity grow up? Surely it is time to put aside these antiquated, man-made principles, and start to look for the real treasure that Yeshua left us two thousand years ago–the Kingdom of God that lies within each one of us–a treasure that requires no pope, bishop, priest, pastor, or preacher for us to discover the treasure he defined in a single saying:

“…BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM…”

The Gospel of the Beloved Companion

I interrupt this series to bring forward into the light of day something new and enlightening, something I have never seen in the Canonical Gospels of the New Testament Bible. It’s found in the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, which reveals a different view of the life and public ministry of Jesus — whose historic name, by the way, was “Yeshua.” I found this while reading THE GOSPEL OF THE BELOVED COMPANION  by Jehanne De Quillan, who translated her gospel directly from the original Greek.

The setting for these words spoken by Mary Magdalene is a room in the “House of Bethany” where the disciples of Jesus had gathered just after the crucifixion and resurrection of their Master. As the Canonical Gospels relate the story, Mary of Bethany – whom Jesus had called “the Migdalah” (which means tower of strength and courage) – went to the tomb where Jesus’s body had been placed and found the stone rolled back and the tomb empty. Mistaking a presence in the garden as the gardener, she asked where he had taken the body, at which point Jesus called her by her name, “Miryam,” to which she answered “Rabbouni.” Being moved to embrace her Beloved, Jesus said to her “‘Miryam, do not hold to me, for I am not of the flesh, neither am I one with the spirit….'” He then asked her to go to his disciples and tell them the good news of his resurrection so that, as he put it, “‘all would know that my words are true and that any who should choose to believe them and keep to my commandments will follow me on their last day.'” [These words are packed with historical significance – which I may unpack in a future post.]

So Mary went to the disciples and told them how she had seen and spoken with Jesus. They apparently were a bit disbelieving and even jealous of her intimate rapport with their Master, especially Peter, who said “‘Sister, we know that he loved you more than any other among women. Tell us the words of the Rabbi, which you remember, which you know and understand, but we do not, nor have we heard them.'” 

And here is what she reportedly answered them:

What is hidden from you, I will proclaim to you. 

My Master spoke thus to me. He said, “Miryam, blessed are you who came into being before coming into being, and whose eyes are set upon the Kingdom, who from the beginning has understood and followed my teachings. Only from the truth I tell you there is a great tree within you that does not change,summer or winter, and its leaves do not fall. Whosoever listens to my words and ascends to its crown will not taste death, but will know the truth of eternal life.” 

Then he showed me a vision in which I saw a great tree that seemed to reach unto the heavens; and as I saw these things, he said “The roots of this tree are in the earth, which is your body. The trunk extends upward through the five regions of Humanity to the Crown, which is the Kingdom of the Spirit.

“There are eight great boughs upon this tree and each bough bears its own fruit, which you must eat in all its fullness. As the fruit of the tree of the Garden [referring to the “fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil”] caused Adam and Chav’vah [Eve?] to fall into darkness, so this fruit will grant to you the Light of the Spirit that is Eternal Life. Between each bough is a gate and a guardian who challenges the unworthy who try to pass.

“The leaves at the bottom of the tree are thick and plentiful, so no light penetrates to illuminate the way. But fear not, for I am the Way and the Light, and I tell you that as one ascends the tree, the leaves that block one from the Light are fewer, so it is possible to see all more clearly. Those who seek to ascend must free themselves of the world. If you do not free yourself from the world, you will die in the darkness that is the root of the tree. But if you free yourself, you will rise and reach the Light that is the Eternal Life of the Spirit.”

She continues to relate how she ascended the tree, bough by bough, entering gate by gate, until she reached the top crown of the tree. Each bough had its own unique requirement and its own unique gifts.

On the first level, she had to release all judgement and wrath in order to receive the nourishment of the gifts of love and compassion.

On the second bough, she had to release ignorance and intolerance to receive the gifts of wisdom and understanding.

To enter the third gate on the level of the third great bough, she had to release duplicity and arrogance in order to receive the gifts of honor and humility.

At the  level of the fourth great bough, she had to confront and free herself of the weakness of the flesh and the illusion of her fears. Here she received the gifts of strength and courage.

Then she says this about her remaining ascent upward:

Only then, my Master told me, when you have rejected the deceiver, can you pass through the hardest gate of all, to attain the fifth bough and the fruit of clarity and truth. Only then will you know the clarity and truth of your soul and, knowing your Self for the first time, understand that you are a child of the Living Spirit. And as my soul moved upward, I realized that I could no longer hear the voice of the world, as all had become as silence.

Then in the Light above, I saw the sixth bough, the one that bore the fruit of power and healing. My Master told me that when you truly have eaten of the fruit of the clarity and truth of your Self, then could you partake of the fruit of power and healing. The power to heal your own soul and thereby make it ready to ascend to the seventh bough, where it will be filled by the fruit of Light and Goodness.

And I saw my soul, now free of all darkness, ascend again to be filled with the Light and Goodness that is the Spirit. And I was filled with a fierce Joy as my soul turned to fire and flew upwards in the flames from whence my Master showed me the eighth and final bough, upon which burned the fruit of the grace and beauty of the Spirit.

And I felt my soul and all that I could see dissolve and vanish in a brilliant Light, in a likeness unto the sun. And in the Light, I beheld a woman of extraordinary beauty, clothed in garments of brilliant white. The figure extended its arms and I felt my soul drawn into its embrace and in that moment I was freed from the world and realized that the fetter of forgetfulness was temporary. From now on, I shall rest through the course of the time of the age in silence. And then, as if from a great distance, I heard the voice of my Master tell me, “Miryam, whom I have called the Migdalah, now you have seen the all, and have known the truth of your Self; the truth that I Am. Now you have become the completion of completions.” And thus the vision ended.

“This is what my Master has told and shown me, and only from the truth I tell you, that all that I have revealed to you is true.”

When the Migdalah had told of all the Yeshua and said and done, she fell silent, since it was in that silence that Yeshua had spoken with her and revealed these truths.

And she has remained silent ever since. The Catholic Church and all of Christianity has kept Jesus’s Beloved Companion, along with the feminine in general, suppressed and silenced. But she is silent no longer. It’s no coincidence, I feel, that this Gospel of Mary Magdalene, The Beloved Companion has surfaced in this day and at this specific time of the rise of the feminine movement. It may even be vibrationally causal relative to that movement. 

This passage bears much fruit for meditation. Just the revelation that the Spirit is feminine, “a woman of extraordinary beauty, clothed in garments of brilliant white,” is thought provoking in the context of a male-dominating world and religion.  Here is the Divine Feminine revealed to the world through Mary Magdalene, Jesus’s beloved companion.  Earlier in the text of this Gospel, Jesus refers to the Spirit as “she.” I felt a refreshing breeze blow through my soul as I read his reference to the Spirit as feminine — my own feminine energies, no doubt, stirring with recognition and acknowledgment.

In rejecting the Divine Feminine, the Church rejected the Spirit, leaving it spiritless and dead – my own personal impression of the Catholic Church and its priesthood, to which I once aspired as a young man. There is more spirit expressed in the Pentecostal religion, and in the worship service of the Black churches I’ve visited, than in all of Catholicism – in my humble opinion anyway.

Creating a Unified Sacred Sound Field

Creating A Unified Sacred Sound Field

(Excerpted from my book Attunement with Sacred Sound)

This is a powerful healing technique whereby two or three harmonically tuned quartz crystal bowls are used to create  a unified sacred sound field with the recipient placed in the middle of the setting. This can be done with vocal toning as well where two or three individuals or small groups tone the designated pitches. A Vesica Pisces is created where the sound waves meet and overlap one another. The one sitting or lying down in the sacred sound vesica may experience profound frequency shifts that may open a portal through which something entirely new may be born in consciousness, such as new revelations, new thoughts and creative ideas, even new patterns of healing and transformation in one’s physical and energetic bodies. This is the magician’s realm of expertise. Sound healing in its finest application.

When a single tone is sounded, it sends out a spherical waveform, as the picture above demonstrates. This waveform creates a “sound field.” When two harmonious tones are sounded simultaneously, their sound fields overlap creating thereby a “third unified field.” This opens a vibrational window referred to as a “Vesica Pisces,” a unified sound field. I am calling this a “Unified Sacred Sound Field.”

Unified Sacred Sound Field & Vesica Pisces 

The Vesica Pisces is a vibrational portal formed by two overlapping fields of energy.  It has been called the “Womb of the Great Mother,” as it serves as a vibrational birth canal for a “third” waveform to come forth that may give rise to new thought and inspiration, leading to new and innovative creative expression.

We can create various unified harmonic sound fields using quartz crystal bowls.

  1. A “Perfect Fifth” sound field for healing can be created using two bowls that are a fifth apart in their tone. For example an A and E bowl, or an F and C bowl, etc. The colors in these diagrams are not true to the frequencies, but this gives one an idea of how two frequencies overlapping create a unified field with a different tonal quality.
  1. A more complex sound field is created by using three bowls whose pitches form a harmonious triad. This combination of harmonic sounds is ideal for balancing the endocrine and chakra energy fields. As explained in the chart on page 58, each pitch is assigned to a specific aspect of the sacred energy site with which one is working. Again, these colors are not true to the frequencies. One can get a sense, however, of how different tonal qualities are created by the overlapping sound fields.

The “Law of Three” and the Law of the Octave

Let’s expand a bit on this theme of creating Sacred Sound Fields and explore the creation of a vibrational tetrahedron (pyramid) and the technology at work in the creation of a MerKaBa, all based upon George Gurdjieff’s “Law of Three” and the Enneagram.

American-born spiritual teacher George Gurdjieff (1866 – 1949) first articulated the “Law of Three” in the early twentieth century as the forward driving principle of creation and in what later became known as the “Gurdjieff Work.”

In her scholarly book The Holy Trinity and the LAW OF THREE, Episcopal prelate and author Cynthia Bourgeault explores this principle to profound depth. In reading her book, I realized that this principle is at work in the creation of a vesica pisces and of a Sacred Sound Field. So I felt it important, without getting too technical, to include a consideration of this principle as an appendix to the book. Basically, the principle states that when three creative forces come together a fourth force arises that initiates an ongoing and altogether new creative cycle.

Cynthia writes: “The Law of Three, according to Gurdjieff, together with its companion piece, the Law of Seven, comprises what Gurdjieff calls the foundational “Laws of World Creation and World Maintenance.” The interweaving of these two cosmic laws is depicted in the symbol of the enneagram, whose nine points reveal (to those properly initiated) the direction and energetic dynamism through which the world maintains its forward motion. . . .   The Enneagram Symbol

Gurdjieff called the Law of Three “The Law of World Creation,” and its real purpose is to show how new arisings – that is, new phenomena, new worlds, new outcomes, new possibilities, new “octaves” (to introduce a particularly important piece of Work terminology) – come into being. The law is all about creating new playing fields in an ongoing dynamism of manifestation. It is, according to Gurdjieff, “a law whose consequences always become the cause of other consequences.”

When we focus on the new “something” that has come into being through the interaction of the three forces, we can see that it is not merely a continuation of a sequence; it is a whole different level.

A perfect example of this law at work is demonstrated in the creation of a song. As we saw earlier on in our consideration of the principles of Sacred Sound, we have the three aspects of harmony, melody and rhythm, which may be seen as forces that move the creative process along, that come together to create the “threefold song” or the “Song of the Absolute,” or any song for that matter. Once the song is born through the vesica provided by the three forces of harmony, melody and rhythm, it takes on a life of its own, perhaps to inspire the creation of other songs, or simply to stir something in the heart of the singer or the listener that moves them perhaps toward a romantic interlude with another person that may lead even further to a marriage and a family. An entirely new state arises which is not a continuation of the previous generative state, but rather one of many possible “new playing fields in an ongoing dynamism of manifestation,” as Gurdjieff describes the outcome.

Blessed By Sound

Sound healing has come of age as it has made its way into mainstream medicine at the start of the millennium and has always been considered a direct link between humankind and the divine. Plato and Pythagoras taught that the nature of the Soul is music.

The ancient mystery schools all taught their students the use of sound as a creative and healing force. It is considered the oldest form of healing, and it was a predominant part of the early teachings of the Greeks, Chinese, East Indians, Tibetans, Egyptians, American Indians, Mayas, and the Aztecs. There was a time when healing, song and storytelling went hand in hand.

On a physical level, what has been called “music therapy” has been applied to alleviate aches and pains, lower blood pressure, and balance hyperactivity in children, among many of its uses. On a metaphysical level, sound in the form of mantras and chants has been used to induce altered states of consciousness, open new levels of awareness, stimulate intuition, and increase creativity. The field of music therapy itself has been developed extensively and offers a vast reservoir of knowledge for further exploration. We will tap into some of that reservoir—and take sound healing to another level.

What is being done currently with what is called “sound healing” is not what I intend on replicating in this workshops. While this kind of manipulation of the physical and energetic bodies by means of sound has certainly proven to be beneficial at the physical, mental and emotional levels of healing—and no doubt has helped occasion spiritual transformation as well—I would like to take it to another perhaps more transcendent level, so that we come to this sacred sound work not so much as “sound healers” and therapists but rather as angels of sound, if you will, fully conscious of who we are and what we are about. What we will share in this workshop is an exploration in the use of sound and music as a carrier wave for the Spirit at work in and through the Attunement Process, as we take our sacred sound tools in hand to facilitate healing and transformation in human beings.

“The Secret of Light” page 5: Cosmic Consciousness

This excerpt from Walter Russell’s 1948 book The Secret of Light is from chapter four. It’s brief and speaks plainly for itself. The second part of this post is an excerpt from THE DIVINE ILIAD by Walter Russell which also speaks profoundly for itself. Enjoy the wisdom of this clarion voice from out of the past.

Beyond the genius is the mystic.

The mystic is one who has attained cosmic conscious­ness by a complete severance of the seats of conscious­ness and sensation. He is then almost totally unaware of his body and is totally aware of the Light of God center­ing him. Omniscience comes to him in that timeless blinding flash of light which is characteristic of a com­plete severance. This experience was described in the illumination of St. Paul. Every timeless flash of intense inspiration which comes to any man is a partial illumination, for inspiration is the manner in which new knowledge comes to man from the cosmos.

Of all mystics, Jesus was the outstanding example of all time. He was the only One in all history to have known complete cosmic-conscious unity with God.

The Bible refers to cosmic-conscious experience as “the illumination” or “being in the Light” or “in the Spirit.”

In all history less than forty cases of partial cosmic consciousness are known, and probably not more than three of these anywhere nearly approached the complete state of illumination experienced by the Nazarene.

Cosmic consciousness is the ultimate goal of all mankind. All will know it before the long journey of man is finished, but there are many in this new age just dawning who are ready for it in part, if not fully.

Many desire it fully, but it is best that it come bit by bit for the complete severance is very dangerous. The ecstasy of this supreme experience is so great that one does not wish to come back. The power of severance of
soul from body is within easy accomplishment, but to step back into the body is very difficult.

The way to gradually attain cosmic consciousness is to intensify one’s conscious awareness by much alone­ness and companionship with God while manifesting Him in every moment and in every task of life.

Moment-by-moment companionship with God brings with it so great a realization of Oneness with Him that the transformation into that full realization of unity is apt to take place at any time.

The deterrent to cosmic consciousness is the feeling that God is far away instead of being within, and that we can reach that far away God only through sources out­side of ourselves.

Since his beginning My still small Voice hath whispered within him that I am he and he Me; but even now barbaric man on thy small new world heareth dully, and maketh idols which he trea­sures before Me, for he is still new. He is still but in the ferment of his early brewing.

“For I say, that all things which floweth from Life of Me have Life of Me flowing through them, e’en to the least of these; but, I say, that e’en though My Light of immortal Life floweth through those mortal symbols of My thinking, It toucheth them not in Its pass­ing .

“When they shall know the Light of Me in them, then they shall be Me and I them. ”

What exactly is consciousness?  Well, breaking the word down into its two derivative parts, we have “con” which is Latin for “with” and “scio” which also comes from Latin and translates “to know.” So we have “to know with.” Consciousness, then, is the capacity with which we know the world and reality — to know as in to experience. Walter Russell equates consciousness with God in the following excerpt from “The Secret of Light.” I resonate with his distinction between “knowing” and “thinking,” which he equates with “sensation.” To know God is not the same as to believe in God. Believing is thinking. Knowing is experiencing. I like and appreciate his explanation of imagination and inspiration as well. This is a very important read – and a short one for a change! Enjoy.

SENSATION AND CONSCIOUSNESS

God is consciousness. Consciousness is static. Con­sciousness is the KNOWING of mind. Knowing is stat­ic.

Consciousness is the spiritual awareness of Being, of all-knowing, all-power and all-presence. Thinking is electric.

God’s thinking is expressed by two-way moving wave extensions from consciousness, like a lever swinging upon a fixed fulcrum, or like waves extending from the calm sea. Thought expression is dynamic. Thinking belongs to the electrically sensed an conditioned
vibrating universe of motion. Thinking is the motionless principle in light which creates the illusion of motion.

The Self of man belongs to the static, invisible, con­scious, unconditioned universe of KNOWING. We express knowing in the dynamic, visible, electrically conditioned universe of sensation.

Sensation is the electrical awareness of motion simu­lating the spiritual QUALITIES of the One Idea by creating imaged QUANTITIES of separate forms which seem to have substance.

Consciousness is real. Sensation simulates reality through motion of interchanging lights, but the mirage of a city is not the city it reflects.

Confusion and misunderstanding as to whether we are thinking consciously from knowledge or sensing electri­cally from memory records stored in our brains have led us to the necessity of distinguishing between the two by the common usage of such terms as “the human mind” and “mortal mind.” We know full well, while using them, that there is but the One Mind of the One Living God of Love.

The universal Mind centers every particle and mass in this universe: animal, vegetable or mineral, electron, atom or sun.

Man is the only unit in Creation who has conscious awareness of the Spirit within him and electrical aware­ness of dually conditioned light acting upon his senses. All other units of Creation have electrical awareness only.

Man alone can be freed from body to think with God, to talk with God and be inspired by His centering Light. All other units of Creation are limited in their actions to automatic reflexes from sensed memories built up through ages of sensing and recording such sensing as instinct.

Likewise the same confusion leads us to the adoption of such terms as “subconscious mind,” and “superconscious mind.”

There is but One Mind functioning universally within all creating things, and that One Mind is not stratified nor divided into the more or less. There are no differing conditions of the One Mind, nor are there different kinds of minds.

IMAGINATION

God is the imaginer of His One Idea. All imagining is God’s imagining.  All creating forms in this thought universe of God’s
imagining are built in the image of His imagining, creat­ing “in His image.”

All forms in this creating universe of imagined forms are but electric recordings of God’s imaginings. They have no existence. Records of Idea are not the idea they record.

They have no substance. They are but black and white lights of sun-centered wave fields of space assembled in vibrating systems to simulate substance in an objective universe which is not, but seems to be.

God’s imagining never began and will never end.

It was not “created” at some remote past time by some vast cosmic event, as commonly believed. Nor is it con­demned to a “heat-death” by expansion into nothing­ness.

This is a creating universe, not a created one.

God did not begin to imagine at some fixed time, for time does not exist. This light-wave universe which records God’s knowing by His thinking and imagining is as eternal as God’s thinking is eternal.

INSPIRATION

Inspiration is the language of Light which man uses to talk with God.

Inspiration is that deep awareness of the conscious­ness of Being which differentiates the genius or mystic from the being of average intelligence.

Inspiration in man is accompanied by an intense men­tal ecstasy which is characteristic of all who become
intensely conscious of their closeness to God.

Inspired geniuses forget their bodies while deeply conscious of their existence as wholly Mind. Their bodies, thus forgotten, act almost automatically in obedi­ence to instinct .and cell memory reflexes.

Inspired geniuses translate God’s knowing into words of man for the soul of man. They uplift all mankind by reinspiring all who listen to their ecstatic words and rhythms.

He who attunes his heart to the messages of genius purifies himself. No impurity can there be in his heart for verily he then is in communion with the Holy One.

I do not experience inspiration as being “accompanied by an intense mental ecstasy,” but rather by a upward surge of spirit that lifts one to blend and merge with the All, with God. The very word “inspire” suggests an infusion of spirit into the mind which brings with it the gift of revelation.  I am still struggling with the concept that there is only one Mind, and that Divine, with no substantial reality to the “human mind.”  I was taught, as perhaps you were, that human consciousness is separate from Divine Consciousness, the former having “fell” from its union with the latter.  The “restoration” sought after, then, has been the ascension of human consciousness to the level of union with Divine Consciousness.  Obviously, Russell is coming from an entirely different level of comprehension of Reality.  Definitely food for thought and meditation.

Walter Russell continues in this excerpt to expound on his profound understanding and knowledge of the nature of the Creator and creation and the positive and negative principles by which the entire universe, made of light, is governed. From my own personal experience of spiritual awakening, there was nothing in my consciousness that needed change more than my concept of God. The God of my imagination, fabricated and fostered by Christianity, was made in the image and likeness of man. Man, on the other hand, is made according to God’s “image.” Russell sheds an entirely new light on this word “image.” I think you will be enlightened by his insight into the “mystery of God.”

CREATOR AND CREATION

God, the Creator, is all there IS; all that EXISTS. God’s creating universe of matter in motion appears to exist. To oursenses it sequentially disappears, to reap­pear. It has no reality. It but simulates reality through the illusion of twoway projected lights in motion.

God, the Creator, is the One Being, the One Person, the One Mind, the One Thinker, the One Self, the One Life, the

One Soul, the One Power, the One Reality. God’s Creation is the imaged patterned form of God’s imagining, built in His image. It is the body of God, the record of His thinking, created by Him for expressing the Oneness of Life, Love, Mind, Soul and Power which is in Him alone.

THE ONE LIGHT

God is Light. God is Universal Mind. Mind is Light. Mind knows. Mind thinks what it knows. Mind thinks in two opposed lights simultaneously projected from their centering white Light Source and sequentially repeated in cycles.

God’s thinking and imagining are qualities of God’s knowing. God’s knowing Mind is timeless and still. So also are God’s thinking and imagining timeless and still. So, likewise, man’s thinking and imagining are as time­
less and still as is his knowing. 

Stillness never can be motion, or become motion, but it can appear to be. Motion merely seems, but stillness
always is. The universal equilibrium can never be other than its own balance but it can seem to be. The illusion
which is motion springs from stillness and returns to stillness. This is a universe of rest. There is naught but
rest in the universe.

Mind knows its One Idea of Creation as One Whole. Mind thinks its One Whole idea into seeming parts. Hence the illusion of motion which we call Creation, and the illusion of substance which we call matter. Matter, motion, time, change, dimension and sub­stance have no existence. The Light of knowing Mind alone exists. There is but One Mind and One Thinker.

The One Light of knowing Mind is Self of God. It is the Universal Self which centers all omnipresent self­creating bodies of God-Selves. This self creating universe is the Mind imagined body of God, and record of God’s thinking.

We can KNOW God. We cannot KNOW His body but we can SEE it. Likewise we can KNOW man. We cannot KNOW the body of man but we can SEE it. What God is man is. God and man are ONE.

OUR SEEMING DUALITY

We seemingly live in two universes; the still cosmic Mind universe of KNOWING and the moving thought­ of-Mind rhythmic wave universe of SENSING.

We cannot sense the cosmic universe of God’s know­ing nor can we know the thought-wave universe of God’s thinking. The cosmic Mind universe of the One Light of all ­knowing is all that is. The vibrating thought-wave universe of sensing mere­ ly seems.

THE COSMIC GOD LIGHT

The one still Light of God is the cosmic Light which watches over all creating things at countless points locatable by man, but invisible to man.

Man’s senses have misled him into believing in a force called magnetism which attracts compass needles and lifts tons of steel. These phenomena of motion are due to electricity and not to magnetism. The cosmic Light is absolutely still. It neither attracts nor repels.

We now need to comprehend the nature and purpose of the “magnetic poles” of suns, planets and all other moving extensions of the One Light. Likewise, we need to know the nature and purpose of the two electric work­
ers which interweave this light mirage of seeming motion and dissolve it sequentially for rebuilding. This will give a foundation of knowledge to man which will enable him to see behind the illusions which deceive his senses.

The time has come in the history of man’s journey from his material jungle to his spiritual mountain top when it is imperative that he must live more and more in the cosmic Light universe of knowing, and less in the electric wave universe of sensing.

Man must know that his power lies in the stillness of his centering Self and not in the motion by means of which he manifests that stillness. He must know that his Self is God in him. Also he must know gradually the dawning awareness of the cosmic Light of God in him, for with it comes an awareness of his purposefulness in manifesting the Light and the power to manifest it.

Man must now know the universe of God for what it is instead of what his senses have made him believe it to be.

Also, he must know that this forever creating universe which seems so real to him is but a cosmic cinema, con­ceived by the Master Playwright. It is but an electrically projected, spectrum-colored light and sound-wave
motion picture play of CAUSE AND EFFECT thrown on the black screen of imaged space and time.

The CAUSE is real. The EFFECT is but a simulation of the reality.  The Self of man is cause. His self-creating body is
effect. 

God’s universe of magnetic Light is static. God’s perpetually creating electric wave universe of two moving lights is dynamic. It forever moves. The two moving lights are projected through each other from the static One to create the illusion of the idea they but manifest. The illusion which manifests the idea of Cre­ation through seeming motion is not the idea which it seemingly manifests.

Creation is the product of Mind-knowing expressed in form by Mind-Thinking. The product of Mind is not the idea which it simu­lates. No idea of Mind is ever created. It is but simulated by form and motion. Idea is eternal and belongs to God’s still universe of knowing. Form of idea in matter is transient but is eternally repeated as transient form of idea.

THE POSITIVE PRINCIPLE

The foundation of the spiritual universe is stillness; the balanced stillness of the One magnetic Light of God.  Balanced stillness is the Positive Principle of stability and unity. In it there are no negations.

THE NEGATIVE PRINCIPLE

The foundation of the physical universe is motion; the ever-changing motion arising out of pairs of unbalanced
conditions which must forever move to seek the bal­anced stillness of unity from which they sprang as mul­
tiple pairs of units.

Unbalanced motion is the Negative Principle of insta­bility, multiplicity and separateness which is this physi­cal universe of electric octave waves of opposed lights.

In the Negative Principle there is no positive. It is composed entirely of pairs of negations which are for­ever voiding each other, cancelling each other’s action and reaction, thus negating each other by never allow­ing either one to exceed its fixed zero of universal still­ness.

QUALITY BEGETS QUANTITIES

The still magnetic Light universe of God’s knowing is an invisible, unchanging, unconditioned and unmeasur-
able quality from which visible, changing, conditioned and measurable quantities spring to simulate those qual­lities through two-way wave motion. There is no one word in any language to express that quality so we must use many words, all having the same meaning but different connotations. 

These words are mind, consciousness, love, life, truth, desire, knowledge, power, balance and law.

The God-quality of the One Light is seemingly trans­formed into quantities by being divided into pairs of oppositely-conditioned light pressures of this electric universe. These divided pairs are then multiplied into
countless octave wave units of light pressures and set in opposite directioned motion to create the illusion of
sequence, change, dimension, condition and time in a universe where none of these effects of motion exist.

The calm sea, for example, is an unchanging, unmea­surable quality of oneness, of sameness and stillness.
Upon its calm surface there is no change, nothing to count or to measure.

The moment that quantities of waves spring from that quality of calm, those quantities can be measured. Like­wwise, they are forever changing. Nor are there two points in them which are similarly conditioned.

This creating electric universe is composed of moving light waves which sprang from a calm sea of the One still Light.

It is ‘a universe of moving pairs of quantities which simulate the quality of stillness from which those quan­tities spring. The quantities of divided and conditioned pairs of opposite lights which thus simulate the One are not the One they simulate.

The Creator is One Mind indivisible. Creation is One Whole Idea of Mind divided into countless simulated ideas of mind, through motion. The simulation of Idea thus expressed is not the idea that it expresses.

Parts of the One Whole Idea are only seeming. There are no two separate or separable things in the universe.
There is but One Whole Simulation of the One Whole Idea.

Every happening anywhere happens everywhere. The milkweed fluff floating lazily in the summer sky affects the balance of the whole universe of suns and galaxies. Every part of the universe moves in interdependent unison as the wheels of a watch move in unison. The watch wheels are geared together mechanically. The rhythmic wave universe is geared together electrically.

The entire universe is one and must be kept in balance as one. Changes of condition in anyone part are simul­taneously reflected in every other part, and are sequen­tially repeated in it.

“‘There is but One Whole Simulation of the One Whole Idea.”  How profoundly simple this truth is. “Everything that is is of everything else that is.'” If you’ve never read THE DIVINE ILIAD, you’re in for a treat.  See you in a week for the next installment ih this series “The Secret of Light.”

Well, are we ready for another dose of Walter Russel from The Secret of Light ? Here is the second half of chapter twelve in which Russell challenges current scientific thinking about the nature of light, presenting a new paradigm in which light does not travel at 186,400 miles per second. In his physics, light does not travel at all, not even from the sun! Hmm. If you liked the previous post — which you really need to read first if you’re just tuning into this series — you will really like this one — especially after two or three readings!  Enjoy!

CONFUSION CONCERNING LIGHT CORPUSCLES

There is much confusion concerning the many kinds of particles of matter such as electrons, protons, photons, neutrons and others. These many particles are sup­posedly different because of the belief that some are negatively charged, some are positively charged and some are so equally charged that one supposedly neu­tralizes the other.

There is no such condition in nature as negative charge, nor are there negatively charged particles. Charge and discharge are opposite conditions, as filling and emptying, or compressing and expanding are oppo­site conditions.

Compressing bodies are charging into higher potential conditions. Conversely, expanding bodies are discharg­ing into lower potential conditions. To describe an elec­tron as a negatively charged body is equivalent to saying that it is an expanding-contracting body. 

Contracting and expanding bodies move in opposite directions. Contracting bodies move radially inward toward mass centers, and expanding bodies move radially outward toward space which surrounds masses. In this two-way universe, light which is inwardly directed toward gravity charges mass and discharges space. When directed toward space it charges space and dis­charges mass. All direction of force in Nature is spiral.

The charging condition is positive. It multiplies speed of motion into density of substance. The principle of multiplication of motion because of decrease of volume is the cause of the acceleration of gravity. The discharg­ing condition is negative. It divides speed of motion into tenuity of substance. The principle of the division of motion because of expansion of volume, is the cause of the deceleration of radiation. 

One can better comprehend this principle by knowing that what we call substance is purely motion. Motion simulates substance by its variation of pressures, its speed and its gyroscopic relation to its wave axis.

Particles are variously conditioned as to pressure but there are no different kinds of particles. All are light waves wound up into particles which are doubly charged. Their position at anyone point in their wave causes them to have the electric condition appropriate for that point.  

Light particles are forever moving in their octave waves. All are either heading toward their cathode or their anode, which means toward vacuity or gravity. They are all moving either inward or outward, spirally.

ALL LIGHT PARTICLES ARE ALIKE

All light particles are either expressing the mother-light principle or the father-light principle. For example, if a particle is on the amplitude of the wave, it would be a true sphere, and as a true sphere it would be neither positive nor negative. It might then appropriately be called a neutron. A particle which is spirally heading inward toward the apex of a vortex in the process of becoming a sphere might appropriately be called a proton, because of its expressing the father-light principle.

Again,if it is moving spirally outward, it could appro­priately be called an electron because it would then be discharging in excess of its charge or expanding in excess of its contraction. 

Light rays, for example, leaving the sun, are discharg­ing the sun. They are also discharging themselves because they are expanding into greater volume. They are also lowering their own potential by multiplying their volume. They reverse their polarity when radially converging upon the earth. They are then charging the earth and themselves by contracting into smaller volume and are simultaneously multiplying their own potential by thus contracting.

SEMI-CYCLIC ALTERATION

In an electric current there is a constant interchange between anode and cathode or positive and negative poles. A light particle expands as it leaves the anode in an outward radial direction and contracts as it radially approaches the anode.’ This light particle has been the same light particle at all times in all parts of its journey.

Its variation of charge and discharge, its direction of motion and the condition of wave pressure in which it finds itself at any time are the sole reasons for its chang­ing from one condition to another. The light particles are all the same light particles, all being different only in pressure condition. 

This is also true of the elements of matter. Whether they be iron, carbon, silicon, bismuth or radium, all are composed of the same kind of light particles. They all seem to have different qualities and attributes, but those qualities and attributes are likewise given to them purely by the positions they occupy in their waves.

ALL THINGS SIMULATE LIGHT 

A particle of light which belongs to an atomic system of sodium has in it all of the entire range of the ele­ments, besides all of every other creating thing in the universe. It acts to carry out the purposefulness of the idea of sodium simply because it is in the pressure con­dition of sodium, and is a part of the unfolding pattern of the seed of inert gas of the octave from which it has unfolded. 

If that same particle unfolded from the seed of the oak, it would be part of the wood fiber of its trunk, or leaf, or of the chlorophyll which colored its leaves, but it would be the same kind of particle while fulfilling the purpose of cellulose as while fulfilling the purpose of sodium.

All matter in this universe is but differently conditioned motion simulating light, and all differences in condition are pressure differences. 

LIGHT DOES NOT TRAVEL

The speed with which light presumably travels is186,400 miles per second. The distance between stars is so great that the speed of light is computed as light years, for the distance computed by lesser units of time would yield figures so great that they would be meaningless.

Light only seems to travel. It is but one more of the countless illusions caused by wave motion. Waves of the ocean seem to traverse the ocean but they only appear to do so, for waves are pistons in the universal engines, and pistons operate up and down. Wave pistons of light, or of the ocean, operate radially and spirally inward and outward, toward and away from gravity.

Waves of light do not travel. They reproduce each other from wave field to wave field of space. The planes of zero curvature which bound all wave fields act as mirrors to reflect light from one field into another. This sets up an appearance of light as travelling, which is pure illusion.

The sunlight we feel upon our bodies is not actual light from the sun. What actually is happening is that the sun is reproducing its own condition on the earth by extending the reproductions out through cold space into ever enlarging wave fields until those reproductions begin to converge again toward our center of gravity into ever smaller wave fields. The heat we feel and the light we see are dependent entirely upon the ability of the wave fields to reproduce the light and heat, and that ability is conditioned upon the amount of moisture in the atmosphere.

If there were no moisture in the atmosphere, our bodies would carbonize from the heat thus reproduced. One cannot consistently think of that heat as direct rays of the sun, for that same sunlight was intensely cold during its reproduced journey through the immensely expanded wave fields of space between the sun and earth.

The light and heat which appear to come from the star or sun have never left the star or sun. That which man sees as light and feels as heat are the reproduced counterparts of the light and heat which are its cause.

The rate of vibration in a wave field depends upon its volume. Vibration in a wave field means the pulse of interchange between its compressed core and the space surrounding that core. A slow vibration in a large wave field would cool one’s body, or even freeze it, while fast pulsing interchange in extremely small wave fields could burn one’s body. 

LIGHT

A lens which multiplies light and heat toward a focal point which sets paper on fire merely compresses larger wave fields into smaller ones. The rate of vibration increases for the same reason that the planets nearest the sun move much faster in their small orbits than those which are far away from the sun. Kepler’s law covering the speeds of planets will apply to rates of vibration in wave fields as appropriately as with the vements in the solar system.

RUSSELL COSMOLOGY Page 1: The Secret of Light

This is without a doubt the most challenging blog I’ve yet to attempt writing, for my subject is a very deep and complex thinker and writer. No one that I have read thus far has written so eloquently and authoritatively on the nature of Light as has Walter Russell. I am reading his book The Secret of Light for the second time and it amazes me how it seems that it’s really for the first time – even with the highlights proving that I’ve read it before. It’s been a few years since my first reading, and it seems I’ve evolved in consciousness enough to be able to hear more deeply what he is saying in his unique articulate manner of word usage – as you will soon see from the excerpts I wish to share in this series. So, let’s dive right into the remarkable mind of Walter Russell (1871-1963) to see what wisdom and understanding we might glean from his writings. I will simply start out with his statement of intention from the Author’s Forward:

Walter Russell

Jesus said “GOD IS LIGHT,” and no man of that day knew what He meant. The day is now here when all men must know what Jesus meant when He said “GOD IS LIGHT.” 

For within the secret of Light is vast knowledge yet unrevealed to man. Light is all there is; it is all we have to deal with, but we do not yet know what it is. The purpose of this message is to tell what it is. 

And, of course, the rest of the book does just that: it tells what Light is – and it’s nothing like anything you or I have imagined it to be or knew it to be. We’ve simply taken it for granted. Now, as I recall other words Jesus is recorded to have spoken, Walter’s words ring true to His words about the “kingdom of heaven” being “within you and all around you. . . . Repent [turn around], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Light, that which all of creation is made of, is within us and all around us. Look again and see clearly that the kingdom – the governance – of Light, of God, is at hand.  We do not have to die in order to arrive in heaven – if, indeed, dying were even possible – for we are there already in the here and now.  As for death, according the Russell, there is no such thing – but that’s a later post of this series on The Secret of Light.

There is no way that I can simplify a subject matter that is so complex, and yet so simple and logical, that it defies further simplification for further explanation. So, I will not attempt to explain the secret of Light, and therefore of God, as Walter Russell does so uniquely. I will let his words meet your eyes and intellect directly without my interpretations. I will simply limit my interference to your read with occasional comments and impressions. What is of utmost importance is that we human beings come to know what is real and what is mere illusion in the world in which we live and have our being. I will start this series with chapter twelve, entitled “LIGHT,” taking into consideration all that has been considered in previous chapters that may enhance our comprehension and understanding. Chapter XII

LIGHT

Light cannot be seen; it can only be known. Light is still. The sense of sight cannot respond to stillness. That which the eyes “feel” and believe to be Light is but wave motion simulating the idea of Light. Like all things else in this electric wave universe the idea of Light cannot be produced. Electric waves simulate idea only. They do not become idea.

When man sees the light of the sun he believes that he is actually seeing light when the nerves of his eyes are but “feeling” the intense, rapid, shortwave vibrations of the kind of wave motion which he senses as incandes­cence. The intensely vibrant electric current mirrored into the senses of the eyes fairly burns them. They can­not stand that high rate of vibration. The eyes would be destroyed by such a vibration, but light would not be the cause of that destruction. Fast motion, simulating light, would be the cause. It would be like sending a high volt­age electric current over a wire so fine that the current would burn it out.

Man likewise cannot see darkness. The nerves of his eyes which sense motion slow down to a rate of vibration which he can no longer “feel.”

Man is so accustomed to the idea that he actually sees light in various intensities illuminating various sub­stances to greater or lesser degree that it is difficult for him to realize that his own senses are but acting as mirrors to reflect various intensities of wave motion. But that is all that is happening.

Every electrically conditioned thing in Nature reflects the vibrations of every other thing, to fulfill its desire to
synchronize its vibrations with every other thing. All matter is the motion of light. All motion is expressed in waves. All light waves are mirrors which reflect each other’s condition unto the farthermost star.

This is an electrically conditioned wave universe. All wave conditions are forever seeking oneness. For this reason all sensation responds to all other sensation.

IS LIGHT A WAVE OR CORPUSCLE?

Much controversy has arisen as to whether light is corpuscular, as Newton claimed it to be, or a wave. There is much evidence in favor of both theories. It is both. Light is expressed by motion. All motion is wave motion. All waves are expressed by fields of equal and opposite pressures of two-way motion. The entire vol­ume within wave fields is filled with the two opposite expressions of motion: the positive expression which compresses light into solids, and the negative expression which expands it into space surrounding solids.

All space within wave fields is curved. Curvature ends at planes of zero curvature which bound all wave fields.
These boundary planes of omnipresent magnetic Light act as mirrors to reflect all curvature into all other wave
fields in the universe, and as fulcrums from which motion in one wave field is universally repeated.

ALL MATTER IS WAVE MOTION

Together these constitute what we call matter and space. It has been difficult to conceive light as being purely corpuscular, for light is presumed to fill all space. Space is not empty. It is full of wave motion. Corpuscles of matter are one half of wave cycles of light. Space is the other half.

There need be no mystery as to whether light is cor­puscular or wave, for waves of motion which simulate the light and darkness of space are all there is.

The light and motion of solid matter, and of gaseous matter of space, differs only in volume and condition. Water of earth is compressed into small volume while water of the heavens is expanded thousands of time in volume. Each condition is the opposite half of the cycle of water.

Water vapor is water turned inside-out. It again becomes water by turning outside-in. Expansion­ contraction sequences result from this process.

ALL MATTER IS SIMULATED LIGHT

Water of the heavens still is water, and it still is light waves. No change whatsoever has taken place between
the waters of earth and those of the heavens except a change of its condition from positive to negative pre-ponderance. This change is due solely to a change of its direction in respect to its center of gravity.

All dense cold matter, such as iron, stone, wood, and all growing or decaying things, are light. We do not think of them as light but all are waves of motion, and all waves of motion are light.

Light is all there is in the spiritual universe of know­ing, and simulation of that Light in opposite extensions is all there is in the electric wave universe of sensing. The simulation of Light in matter is not Light. There is no Light in matter.

Perhaps the confusion which attends this idea would be lessened if we classify everything concerning the spiritual universe, such as life, intelligence, truth, power, knowledge and balance as being the ONE LIGHT of KNOWING, and everything concerning matter and motion as being the TWO SIMULATED LIGHTS of thinking.

Thinking expresses knowing in matter but matter does not think, nor does it know.

Thinking also expresses life, truth, idea, power and balance by recording the ideas of those qualities in the two lights of matter in motion, but matter does not live, nor is it truth, balance or idea, even though it simulates those spiritual qualities.

Man’s confusion concerning this differentiation lies in his long assumption of the reality of matter. His assumption that his body is his Self, that his knowledge is in his brain, and that he lives and dies because his body inte­grates and disintegrates, has been so fundamental a part of his thinking that it is difficult for him to reverse his thinking to the fact that matter is but motion and has no reality beyond simulating reality.

The light which we think we see is but motion. We do not see light. We feel the wave vibrations set up by the
motion which simulates light, but the motion of electric waves which simulate light is not that which it simu­lates.

Either We Evolve or We Perish

I just finished Graham Hancock’s Fingerprints Of The Gods and it left me with an almost overwhelming pall of hopelessness hanging over my head after reading the final chapter “Like A Thief in the Night” and the final sub-headings: “Walking in the last days” and  “The end of the world” in which the author recounts his visit to the Hopi Indian Reservation in 1994 up in the high plains of Arizona. Here are Hancock’s last words in his tome:

. . . I had made this journey because the science of prophecy is still believed to be alive among the Hopi: Pueblo Indians, distantly related to the Aztecs of Mexico, whose numbers have been reduced by attrition and misery to barely 10,000. Like the Ancient Maya whose descendants all across the Yucatan are convinced that the end of the world is coming in the year 2000 y pico (and a little), the Hopi believe that we are walking in the last days, with a geological sword of Damocles hanging over US. According to their myths, as we saw in Chapter Twenty-four:

The first world was destroyed, as a punishment for human misdemeanors, by an all-consuming fire that came from above and below. The second world ended when the terrestrial globe toppled from its axis and everything was covered with ice. The third world ended in a universal flood. The present world is the fourth. Its fate will depend on whether or not its inhabitants behave in accordance with the Creator’s plans …

I had come to Arizona to see whether the Hopi thought we were behaving in accordance with the Creator’s plans …

The end of the world

The desolate wind, blowing across the high plains, shook and rattled the sides of the trailer-home we sat in. Beside me was Santha, who’d been everywhere with me, sharing the risks and the adventures, sharing the highs and the lows. Sitting across from us was our friend Ed Ponist, a medical-surgical nurse from Lansing, Michigan. A few years previously Ed had worked on the reservation for a while, and it was thanks to his contacts that we were now here. On my right was Paul Sifki, a ninety-six­-year-old Hopi elder of the Spider clan, and a leading spokesman of the traditions of his people. Beside him was his grand-daughter Melza Sifki, a handsome middle-aged woman who had offered to translate.

‘I have heard,’ I said, ‘that the Hopi believe the end of the world is coming. Is this true?’

Paul Sifki was a small, wizened man, nut-brown in colour, dressed in jeans and a cambric shirt. Throughout our conversation he never once looked at me, but gazed intently ahead, as though he were searching for a familiar face in a distant crowd.

Melza put my question to him and a moment later translated her grandfather’s reply: ‘He says, “why do you want to know”?’

I explained that there were many reasons. The most important was that I felt a sense of urgency: ‘My research has convinced me that there was an advanced civilization – long, long ago – that was destroyed in a terrible cataclysm. I fear that our own civilization may be destroyed by a similar cataclysm … ‘

There followed a long exchange in Hopi, then this translation: ‘He said that when he was a child, in the 1900’s, there was a star that exploded – a star that had been up there in the sky for a long while … And he went to his grandfather and asked him to explain the meaning of this sign. His grandfather replied: “This is the way our own world will end – engulfed in
flames … If people do not change their ways then the spirit that takes care of the world will become so frustrated with us that he will punish the world with flames and it will end just like that star ended.” That was what his grandfather said to him – that the earth would explode just like that exploding star … ‘

‘So the feeling is that this world will end in fire … And having viewed the world for the past ninety years, does he believe that the behaviour of mankind has improved or worsened?’

‘He says it has not improved. We’re getting worse.’

‘So in his opinion, then, the end is coming?’

‘He said that the signs are already there to be seen … He said that nowadays nothing but the wind blows and that all we do is have a weapon pointed at one another. That shows how far apart we have drifted and how we feel towards each other now. There are no values any more – none at all – and people live any way they want, without morals or laws. These are the
signs that the time has come … ‘

Melza paused in her translation, then added on her own account: ‘This terrible wind. It dries things out. It brings no moisture. The way we see it, this kind of climate is a consequence of how we’re living today – not just
us, but your people as well.’

I noticed that her eyes had filled with tears while she was talking. ‘I have a cornfield,’ she continued, ‘that’s really dry. And I look up into the sky and try to pray for rain, but there is no rain, no clouds even … When we’re like this we don’t even know who we are.’

There was a long moment of silence and the wind rocked the trailer, blowing hard and steady across the mesa as evening fell around us.

I said quietly, ‘Please ask your grandfather if he thinks that anything can now be done for the Hopi and for the rest of mankind?’

‘The only thing he knows,’ Melza replied when she had heard his answer, ‘is that so long as the Hopi do not abandon their traditions they may be able to help themselves and to help others. They have to hold on to what they believed in the past. They have to preserve their memories. These are the most important things … But my grandfather wants to tell
you also, and for you to understand, that this earth is the work of an intelligent being, a spirit – a creative and intelligent spirit that has designed everything to be the way it is. My grandfather says that nothing is here just by chance, that nothing happens by accident – whether good or bad – and that there is a reason for everything that takes place … ‘

At the millstone grinding

When human beings from around the globe, and from many different cultures, share a powerful and overwhelming intuition that a cataclysm is approaching, we are within our rights to ignore them. And when the voices of our distant ancestors, descending to us through myths and sacred architecture, speak to us of the physical obliteration of a great civilization in remote antiquity (and tell us that our own civilization is in jeopardy), we are entitled, if we wish, to stop our ears …

So it was, the Bible says, in the antediluvian world: ‘For in those days, before the Flood, people were eating, drinking, taking wives, taking husbands, right up to the moment that Noah went into the Ark, and they suspected nothing till the flood came and swept all away.’ 

In the same manner it has been prophesied that the next global destruction will fall upon us suddenly “at an hour we do not suspect, like lightning striking in the east and flashing far into the west … The sun will be darkened, the moon will lose its brightness, the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of heaven will be shaken … Then of two men in the fields, one is taken, one left; and of two women at the millstone grinding, one is taken, one left …”

What has happened before can happen again. What has been done before can be done again.

And perhaps there is, indeed, nothing new under the sun …

The thread that runs through and connects the pages of Graham’s book weaves a fabric upon which is painted a prophetic picture for our generation specifically that warns of impending disaster for our world and its population based simply on a cosmic clock ticking away the centuries and millennia over the past 12,500 years since a highly advanced civilization was all but wiped off the face of the earth by a cataclysm. That civilization was known as Atlantis and is now believed to be buried beneath a two-mile thick cap of ice. Today that island continent is called Antarctica. Buried with it are the historical records of what this civilization did that brought about its destruction in literally the blinking of an eye – like a thief in the night.  It is likely we will never know the secret buried beneath those two miles of ice. An ancient lost civilization frozen in time and preserved till the day the ice melts and reveals its secrets.

Those who survived the cataclysm – the elite wealthy maritime intellectuals of Atlantis who knew what was adrift long before the pendulum struck the hour of doom when the hammer fell – made their way to various parts of the world that had suffered little damage, including the Nile Delta where they built the pyramids of Egypt and the Sphinx as geodetic markers in the Age of Leo the Lion to leave behind a mathematically precise architectural monument showing to scale the geographical points and the shape and size of the earth.

The survivors of the Deluge also left messages carved in stone which point to our day – when the sun rises on the Winter Solstice in the House of the constellation of Sagittarius at the South Gate of the Milky Way Galaxy between 1960 and 2040 AD – and when the pendulum of the cosmic clock strikes the hour when the hammer will likely fall again on the civilizations of man.  It is also the dawning of the Age of Aquarius which guards the North Gate of the Milky Way Galaxy. As I wrote about in a previous post, this is also designated in Mayan cosmology as “the place of creation.”

We ignore the myths of our ancient ancestors to our peril.  The dawn of a New Day lightens the horizon. It’s time to wake up and face the harvest of our sowing days as it spreads ugly before us.  We’ve run into a concrete wall and there’s no way to go forward – only up and over it.  It’s the way Gaia is going – up, up and away!
