On Human Relations, part 2: The Law of Balance

My Chorale PicI’ve been away from my blogging for a few weeks due to preparations for a workshop that had to be cancelled for close family health reasons. I hope you enjoyed my last posts on this blog and on my Health Light Newsletter on the theme of balancing and harmonizing the chakras and endocrine energy fields. If you haven’t had an opportunity to read those posts, they are still available in the archives.

In this post we will continue our consideration of human relations, sharing some of the wisdom of Walter and Lao Russell. In Part 1, we started addressing the question: What is Love? In this post I will focus the consideration on balance, the essential ingredient of all successful, creative, and, therefore, healthy relationships.

Reading Walter and Lao’s books – THE MESSAGE OF THE DIVINE ILIAD and GOD WILL WORK WITH YOU BUT NOT FOR YOU respectively – I was profoundly touched by this couple’s powerfully creative and fruitful relationship.  They were truly in Love together.  I would like to take this opportunity to share with my readers excerpts from these books that will give you a feel for the cosmic basis of their relationship. I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as I do. Rarely does one find clear expressions of universal truths in timeless words. I love that about Walter and Lao’s writings.

THE LAW OF BALANCE

THE LAW OF BALANCE is the Law of Love upon which the universe is founded. This law is given to man for his coming renaissance of greater comprehension. It is, of all laws, the inclusive and the most simple. It consists of but three words. These three words are the very foundation of all our material existence, all phenomena of matter or interchange between humans, economically, socially and spiritually.

I will read to you from THE DIVINE ILIAD:

“Great art is simple. My universe is great art, for it is simple.

“Great art is balanced. My universe is consummate art, for it is balanced simplicity.

“My universe is one in which many things have majestic measure; and again another many have measure too fine for sensing.

“Yet I have not one law for majestic things, and another law for things which are beyond the sensing.

“I have but one law for all My opposed pairs of creating things; and that law needs but one word to spell it out, so hear Me when I say that the one word of My one law is 

                                                  BALANCE.

And if man needs two words to aid him in his knowing of the workings of that law, those words are

                                BALANCED INTERCHANGE.

If man still needs more words to aid his knowing of My one law, give to him another one, and let those three words be

                      RHYTHMIC BALANCED INTERCHANGE.”

Balance is the foundation of all human relations, of the universe itself. The stars of heaven move in obedience to it. They cannot do otherwise. Cosmic disaster of untold dimension would follow such disobedience. The starry universe is so absolute in its balance that the movement of a dewdrop on anyone planet necessitates the readjustment of the orbits of all the stars of heaven to that microcosmic event. Because of that law all happenings are universal. Any action anywhere is extended for repetition everywhere. All motion is as omnipresent as the Light of God is omnipresent. All effect is universal.

God is balance. From the stillness of His balance in the unconditioned One Light, He extends His balance to the conditioned universe of motion as two opposite unbalanced conditions of two lights which seek balance through each other.

“NATURE NEVER TAKES THAT WHICH IS NOT GIVEN”

Oppositely-conditioned pairs in Nature seek balance through each other by repeatedly giving all that each has to give to the other in rhythmic sequences. In Nature this process continues perpetually because in Nature all givings of one are perpetually balanced by equal regivings of the other. Nature never takes that which is not given.

This universe is founded upon love as manifested in the giving of one opposite to the other for regiving. The earth gives its forests to the heavens and the heavens give them back again to earth for equal regiving. Every dewdrop given by the heavens is equally regiven to the heavens by the earth.

Equal interchange between opposite conditions manifests the love principle of balance upon which God’s universal body is founded. Whatever is true of God’s universal body is true of man’s body. It is the equality of balance between the giving and regiving of Nature which makes its transactions perpetual. The lack of the love principle of rhythmic balanced interchange in the transactions of men is the reason for the ills of the body and for the disasters which make continuance of relations between men impossible.

The seller of goods is also a buyer. If the seller gives less to his customers than the value of what he charges, he deprives his customer of the ability to regive that which the seller needs to again become a seller. By sacrificing the good-will which is the foundation of continuance in any business, the love principle has been subtracted from the transaction in the measure of inequality of interchange.

Neither man nor nation can continue an interchange of relations upon a harmonious basis of multiplying power when the universal love principle is violated. The law of balance is absolute. He who breaks that law will be equally broken by it.

If each of the two conditions which forms the basis for every transaction between pairs of opposites in Nature can be kept in balance with the other, the resultant effect is good. When they are out of balance with each other, the resultant effect is bad.

Good and bad — sin and evil — measure the degree in which all pairs of oppositely-conditioned effects of motion are either in balance with each other or out of it. In all our human relations we, ourselves, make our own good and bad, or evils and sins, by our desires and decisions to act either in or out of balance with Universal Law.

There is no sin or evil in Nature, for Nature observes the law of balance. Every unbalanced effect in Nature is balanced by its opposite unbalanced effect.

The play of Creation consists of dividing all ideas into two opposite parts. What each half does in relation to the other half constitutes the play. Such divisions into halves are male and female—buyer and seller—positive and negative—compression and expansion, and countless other divisions of ideas into unbalanced pairs for the purpose of expressing those ideas.

Whatever these opposed pairs do in any transaction results in an effect. All human relations are thus divided, and transactions between humans results in either good or bad effects which we call happiness or misery in accordance with whether the transaction is balanced or unbalanced. Man can make whichever he chooses. He can make happiness, success, wealth, friendship and health only by obeying the law. He can never find them by disobeying the law.

For aeons mankind has been breaking the law in an endeavor to find happiness, wealth and power. Civilization has been built by the unbalanced power of might-over-right. Nations have enriched themselves by impoverishing other nations, expecting to find happiness by giving misery—expecting to attain power by depriving others of power. Without any exception, those who have broken the law have been equally broken by the law. This war-broken world of today is the result of yesterday’s breaking of the law.

IT’S ABOUT CONSCIOUS LIVING, ISN’T IT?

It is a challenge to be consciously aware — “mindful” is the word these days — of what I am doing day in and day out. For example, we go to the grocery store so frequently that it has become part of our routine in life. So routine is this activity that it can almost be done without thinking. I simply read my grocery list, collect what I need into my cart and check out at the cashier’s counter. I bring my groceries home, put them away and take them out later to prepare a meal. I sit down to eat my meal then rise to wash my dishes and clean up the kitchen. All this I can do, have done, without giving a single thought to all that has gone before, all the people who make my daily meals at all possible.

For example, there’s the farmer who grew the vegetables — which come from our own garden this time of year, “Thank you Mother God and the good earth and worms and microorganisms!” — the packager who shipped them to the super market, the truck driver who drove all night to get the produce to the grocer, the grocer himself who provided the store and stocked it with groceries. Then there’s the stock boy who placed the apples and oranges on display, the company who made the grocery cart for me to gather my groceries and cart them up to the cashier. Then there’s the cashier who checks me out and collects my payment, and the bagging boy who puts my groceries into bags so that I can carry them home. Then there’s the ” butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker,” along with the workers who packaged the bread, the meat and the candlesticks — all of this done for my convenience, to make my life enjoyable and less stressful. And we could go on to include the transportation system — our automobiles and the petroleum needed to run them — but I’ll stop there.  It’s called “Community.” How many people am I consciously aware of who are in some small and large way involved in just my daily meals? Well, if I am consciously aware of them, whoever they are, when I give my money to the cashier for my groceries, then that act of paying for what has been given to me can take on a much larger meaning that isn’t otherwise in my consciousness when I am acting mindlessly out of habit and routine, and maybe complaining about the rising cost of things. How much more fun there is in being mindful!  And thankful!

Sometimes I think of all this and a deep sense of appreciation whelms up in my heart.  It can’t help but whelm up. My payment, then, becomes a means of giving so that the grocer and so many others can continue giving — never mind whether or not they are mindful of the Law of Balance and of their participation in it or lack thereof.  If I am, then they are too, because what I do here is done everywhere. We are one Body of humanity! Let me be conscious for the whole Body.

Our needs are not that great. Our wants are what get us into trouble with the Law of Balance.

I practiced for fourteen years back in the 1960-70’s, along with other colleagues, without a fee for our services. It was called the “GPC Cooperative Fee System.”  The acronym stood for “God–Patient–Chiropractor.” The rationale was that God gives life freely to the patient and the chiropractor alike, so what right does the chiropractor have to charge a fee for helping his patients increase their experience of life?  That’s what true healthcare does, or is at least supposed to do: increase the expression of life in human beings. What price could we honestly place on that?! Health and life are priceless. So we didn’t charge for it, and God came through in providing for our needs. (And when you stop to think about it honestly, our needs are not that great. Our wants are what get us into trouble with the Law of Balance. Think about it. )

We practiced this way in order to align ourselves with the Universal Law of Giving and Receiving. In order to awaken my patients to the this law, I would often say “The patient just leaving the office paid for your services today. You can pay for the person following you, if you like.” Well, it wasn’t true, at least not in a conscious sense. But it was the fact, nevertheless, that we were able to continue giving our services to others because the ones who went before gave to us financially so that we could keep the clinic open and buy groceries in order to sustain our bodies.  Those were the best years of my entire career as a healthcare practitioner. We had so much fun waking people up to the truth and spirit of the Law of Balance. It was also an education in how little value people in general placed on our services and, more to the point, were willing to invest in the health and wellness of their own house of being.  Far more value is placed on the kind of automobile one drives, and keeping it in good running condition, and the quality and comfort of one’s domicile. We averaged around $9 per office visit — but we saw and blessed between fifty and a hundred patients every day!  Just thought I would cap this post off with a little story of my own. We are missing out on a marvelously rewarding experience mindlessly giving just to get something for ourselves from others. We can’t actually do that, you know, for there are no “others.” There’s only the One I am.

On Human Relations, part 1 — What is love?

In looking for what book to read next, Walter Russell’s MESSAGE OF THE DIVINE ILIAD came to mind.  I had read it some time ago and remembered the profound impact it had on me.  Looking at the front cover again, however, it was the subtitle that caught my attention: “THE DAWN OF A NEW DAY IN HUMAN RELATIONS.”

This theme also runs through Lao Russell’s book GOD WILL WORK WITH YOU BUT NOT FOR YOU, which my wife has been reading recently – which is likely why I was drawn to Walter’s book. What stands out to both of us reading these books is this matter of love, oneness and human relations. So, I would like to spend a few blog posts considering some of the wisdom that has come through these two authors . . . and perhaps add a little bit of my own.

As the “Golden Race” who are here to usher in a “Golden Age,” it behooves us to understand what love is. What does it mean to love God with all and our neighbor as our self? Let’s explore.

LOVE GOD

Of course this caption is redundant, for God is Love. When we feel love in our hearts, it is God we are feeling and experiencing. Love is God within us. When we love doing something, for example, we are experiencing the power of God working in and through us.

Here are some words of wisdom from Walter Russell:

A lady wrote me once that she hated making the beds and washing the dishes. I said: “Whenever you find that you do not like what you are doing, just remember that God centers you, and whatever you are doing you are doing it with Him and with His help. You cannot move your little finger otherwise. When you make your bed, just say, ‘Come, God, make this bed with me.’”

Later she wrote: “That made me love to make beds and do things I did not like to do. Knowing that God was helping me took away that feeling of loneliness and drudgery.”

Take joy in doing things; find happiness in doing everything the best way you can. If you have to do it, you must do it, so you might just as well love doing it. If you really love your work, you will not tire. Conversely, if you hate your work, you will poison yourself by that hatred and the poison must be removed by an understanding of the universal law of balance. Any other form of relief which does not remove the cause can only be temporary.

The way this truth is phrased quickened a fresh perspective in me: “…just remember that God centers you.” As I extend this truth outward to include everyone and every living thing around me, my worldview suddenly takes on a renewed quality of compassion. God centers all living creatures, including those who do “evil” deeds – terrorists, murderers, bank robbers and rapists. God centers them, too, although their actions do not seem to arise from that center but out of their conflicted hearts and misguided minds. Still, God centers us all, goes where we go, does with us what we do.  That’s a provocative thought . . . and, at the same time, empowering.  God does not pick up and leave us when we fail to act out of the Love that centers us.  God powers our every action. We simply provide direction. Nor does God abandon those who do harm to others and enact horrific crimes against humanity — our enemies. “Love your enemies,” the Teacher instructed, “Do good to those that hate you.” In other words, love God in your neighbor as your Self. Or, simply, love God.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS SELF

Lao Russell has written some wonderfully inspiring words in her book as well. In Chapter XVI, entitled “Love Ye One Another,” she speaks passionately and longingly about the family of Man as One Body of siblings who share One Father and One Mother.

“Man does not yet know how to live with other men. He has not yet found that every other man on earth is part of his very body, his very self, not merely his brother. . . . Three thousand miles away means nothing. What happens three thousand miles away happens in our own homes. People who are hurt three thousand miles away are being hurt in our own homes, for what happens anywhere happens everywhere.”

Then she waxes beautifully with deep passion as a mother who longs for the healing of her feuding family.

[The world] must see the good in man and not look upon him as sinful and evil. The world becomes what the world thinks. It thinks of man as sinful and evil and he has become what his own thoughts have made him. He has made a world of hate and fear, and where hate is love cannot also be.

There will come a time, however, when the whole human race will know itself as one family, with but the one FATHER-MOTHER of all. When that day comes every man will be the father and mother, or brother and sister, or son and daughter of every other man. As love comes into the world with spiritual unfolding, separateness and disunity go out of it. With love comes knowledge of the power of unity which makes the power of every man become the power of every other man. Separateness and selfishness breed each other. Separateness makes one man want for himself what every other man also wants for himself. Separateness takes. It never gives, and long ages of taking must pass before he learns that what he takes he never has, but what he gives he always has.

The long ages will pass, however, and every man will serve every other man whom he knows as his very Self. Blood relationship is mighty in its desire to serve sons and daughters, or brothers and sisters, and fathers and mothers in one separate family. No matter what wrong a son may do to the whole world, the love of parents is greater than the fault.

The happy, peaceful and progressive home is one where each member of the family thinks first of each other member, serves first each other before himself, and freely gives without motive of self–gain. In the ideal family everyone will not only serve each other to make him happy but will refrain from doing anything to make any member of it unhappy. That is the ideal. That is what every home needs to make complete happiness for every member of it.

The world is one family of one world–home. The ideal world is one in which every member of it serves each other lovingly to give him happiness, and refrains from doing anything which will take his happiness away from him. That is the ultimate goal. That is what mankind is striving for. That is what he has been striving for over the long aeons. For these long ages he has ever been searching for the road which will lead to that goal of romance and peace. 

The road to peace is not war. War is the road to destruction and post-traumatic suffering for our sons and daughters who fight for . . . what? That’s a good question, a question that likely lies at the heart of every soldier who comes back home after killing other selves. I believe deep down inside every man and woman who goes to war to fight their country’s battles returns home with a profound awareness that there are no “others.” There are only other countries’ sons and daughters who are just like themselves. There is no “other.” There is only one Self.  Russell says it well here and expands the thought to include place:

We think that thoughts, sounds, and other happenings of which we become cognizant take place in other objects and in other places outside ourselves. This objectivity of belief is not true to Nature. Everything which happens anywhere, happens everywhere.

There are not two points, two positions, or two objects in the entire universe. Therefore, whatever you think of as happening outside yourself is actually echoing within yourself.

There is no other place in the universe than that place which you universally occupy. Likewise, there is no knowledge or thought in the universe that is not omnipresent in the Light of you. The reflection of a light in the mirror is actually within the mirror. All Creation is a mirror which reflects itself within itself universally.

He then answers this profound question, which I will close with and let you ponder:

What is meant by being One with God? 

The more you are aware that the Light of God centers you, the more you become aware that that Light is your very Self, and that your body is but an extension of your Self which you have created to manifest your Self. The more that awareness grows, the more you become the cosmic Being and the more you know.When you finally become fully aware of that Supreme Being as your very Self, you ARE that Supreme Being. 

Human relations are healthy when based on love, which gives birth to oneness. We are each one centered by the same Light of Love. Therefore, we are already One at a core level, the level of our Being. At the Human level, we are different but not separate.  Like the rainbow of many colors that are inseparable from the one white light they differentiate, as Human Beings we are diversified in our expression of the One Light of Love. Why, then, does it seem so hard for us as a Global Family–or even as couples and nuclear families–to find our oneness in Being? Perhaps it is because we are distracted by our Human differences.  ‘Till my next post,

Golden Age and Golden Race

Our “Hero’s Journey” ideally ends with the hero defeating his nemesis and seizing the Elixir of Immortality, his journey’s quest. That quest for Humanity has come full cycle as we travel with our Mother Earth through the Zodiac belt into the beginning of a new cycle with the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.  To seize the Elixir of Immortality, we must defeat the nemesis of our own delusions of mortality hidden from our eyes by the fabricated human ego in which we have misplaced our identity. The delusion is maintained every time we excuse our shortcomings with “I’m only human, you know.” This lie is reinforced by the religions of the world, particularly by the Catholic Church which reminds its parishioners every year to “Remember thou art dust and unto dust thou shalt return.” The truth is you are divine and cannot die. The truth is you are a human being, made in the image and likeness of God. The religions know this, yet they view and treat their “believers” as sinners and dust.

The Elixir of Immortality is to be found hidden behind religious dogmas, although revealed clearly and proclaimed loudly by the very Lord whose Gospel Christianity preaches from its pulpits: “The kingdom of heaven is within you.” The kingdom of Heaven is the Elixir of Immortality and it is within us, not in some promised hereafter.  Religion itself is the nemesis humanity must defeat in order to end its quest for a heavenly state where suffering and death are not a part of life on planet Earth.

We are faced once again with a crucial choice that will determine the future of our progeny and the entire human race. That choice is between living in a “Golden Age” that is at hand to be welcomed, stewarded and enjoyed for the next two-thousand-plus years and plunging humanity down once again into the “Dark Ages.” The choice is our’s . . . and we are making it now by our behavior on the planet.

GAIA ASCENDING

The planet herself is moving into a higher vibratory state, driven by ancient cycles of evolution unfolding on schedule within the larger energetic field of the Milky Way Galaxy. The question for us to answer is: Are we with Gaia in her ascension process? If our answer is “Yes,” then she will take us into the Golden Age of Aquarius with little effort on our part. I say “little effort” because all that is required of us is that we live in peace and harmony with one another and with the Natural World. That we love the Lord of God with all and one another as our selves. That we put down our arms and stop warring over the land and its resources that we think will give us security, along with power and control over others. For in truth, there are no “others.” There is only Oneness. There is only Love.

If the answer is “No,” then Gaia will swallow up the world we have fabricated upon her surface and take most of us with it. According the prophecies in The RA Material, Book I of The Law of One, those of us who cannot move with Gaia will then have to be relocated to another third-density planet in the galaxy where we will have yet another opportunity to evolve spiritually and learn what it means to steward and care for our habitat. Planet Earth will go on to fulfill her destiny as a fourth-density planet. Those who can move on with her will return to Earth in fourth-density “rainbow bodies” — incorruptible bodies made of white light that refracts into the colors of the rainbow.

Gaia has been a generous and forgiving hostess to third-density human beings for tens-of-thousands of years. According the RA Material, She has been used to relocate other third-density beings, as well as second-density beings such as some of the animal, insect and plant species on the planet, beings that were left homeless when their planets were destroyed or made uninhabitable, such as Maldek and Mars respectively.  Maldek was once one of our sister planets that orbited where the asteroid belt now lies. Mars’ atmosphere was destroyed by weapons of mass destruction. Those beings who destroyed their planets have been living out their karma on Earth for thousands of years, incarnating over and again in order to learn their lesson and clean up their group karma. Apparently, they haven’t learned their lesson very well yet. They need to repent from their ways and be caused to wake up before it is too late to change and ascend to a higher level of consciousness and being. The Golden Age — the Kingdom of Heaven — is at hand and beckoning us all to enter in and enjoy living in this beautiful and magical world our Mother Earth has created and dressed for us.

THE GOLDEN RACE

Roman poets wrote of the “Golden Age” and apparently mistranslated the words saecula and aetas as both meaning “age,” when in fact saecula may mean either “race” or “age,” and aetas should be translated as “race.” I lifted this information from David Wilcock’s exhaustive literary work The Source Field Investigations, which I am reading for the second time due to its density of interesting and significant historical research.  I would like very much to review this one section on the origins of the idea of a Golden Age in this blog, perhaps over several posts.

Essentially, the first Zodiac Age has historically been a “Golden Age” when life on Planet Earth is in every way a Paradise experience.  Wilcock writes:

The coming of the Age of Aquarius, surrounding the year 2012, is the repetition of a cycle that has already occurred before—a cycle in which everyone on earth apparently had mystical abilities much greater than what most of us now possess, leading them to have perpetual bounty of life ‘untroubled by strife or want . . . a Paradise inhabited by the souls of the blessed.’ [He’s quoting from H.C. Baldry’s 1952 scholarly paper “Who Invented the Golden Age?”]. The pursuit of gold was seen as ‘one of the causes of degeneration from that happy state.’ Unfortunately, our current scientific models are woefully insufficient to explain how something like this could be possible—but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t actually happen.

These “souls of the blessed” are not necessarily a special select group of souls, as Wilcock points out.

It is extremely important to mention that this Golden Race is not some weird and sick Hitlerian vision of a bunch of blond-haired, blue-eyed wunderkinder, or Nietzschean overmen, that everyone else must die off in order to make room for.  Just like the Cayce Readings said about the “Fifth Root Race,” this Golden Race may well be everyone on earth, within a finite period of time—not just a particular nationality or skin color. 

We are the Golden Race. Every human being on the planet volunteered to come here at this time to bring one thing and one thing only: LOVE. Today we celebrate once again the incarnation and birth of Jesus the Christ, the Anointed One of God — the Lord of Love.  He came on Earth for the same reason: to bring LOVE. Apparently, he saw some potential is us because he said that we shall do the works that he did, and even greater works would we do.  He saw sons and daughters of God incarnate on Earth, not white, yellow, brown and black humans.

There are nearly seven billion sons and daughters of God incarnate on Earth today, so there’s a whole lot more potential now than there was two-thousand years ago.  There are some 317 million incarnate souls in the USA. There are 565 million in all of North America and 385 million in South America. That adds up to nearly one-billion souls living in the Americas — one-seventh of the world’s population — and on Google Globe you don’t see any borders between countries.

America is the land of love. That’s what the word means: Loveland. We live in a country that is consecrated to Freedom and to the Spirit of Love.  This is holy ground upon which we walk daily with freedom to be who and what we are.  Let us walk upon its sacred soil with respect and reverence for life. Let us exercise our freedom to bring love into the world. Not just at Christmas time, but always. Let’s be the Golden Race the ancients foretold would arise in the Earth to bring in the Golden Age of Aquarius.

Have a Golden Christmas and a New Year full of love, of peace, and of joy.

THE “GOLDEN AGE” OF AQUARIUS!

A GOLDEN AGE DAWNS ONCE AGAIN!

My Chorale PicIt’s happened once in our prehistoric past and it’s come around again. The Ancients speak of the return of a “Golden Age” every 22,920 years. This is the length of the Mayan “Great Year,” measured by the presession of the Earth’s axis (the time it takes for the wobble of the Earth’s axis to make a complete cycle through the Zodiac belt). The end of this cycle as we exit the Piscean Age marks the beginning of the new Mayan Great Year of 22,920 years and the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, which is thought by one source at least to begin sometime around July 26,2014, one-and-a-half years after December 12, 2012. That source is Edwin Bernbaum who, in The Way to Shambhala says that “the golden age will come when the Sun, Moon and Jupiter all meet in the same quadrant as the Tishya constellation (which is part of Cancer). The next time this was to happen was on July 26, 2014, according to David Wilcock’s Cyber Sky astronomical software. 

I love this topic as it takes me away from the myopic view of life on planet Earth and lets my spirit soar into the unknown realm of all possibilities. There is a larger, grander context in which we journey through this cosmos. It is written in ancient sacred texts that no man knows the day or the hour of the end time.  But that was then, and if we had prophets back in ancient Biblical days, why not in these modern days.  We have evolved, after all, and have capacities to know what we didn’t, or couldn’t, know two thousand years ago.

Exciting days lie ahead for human beings on spaceship Earth. At least for those of us who are ready to graduate from the third dimension to the fourth. The fact is, these days are already upon us and have been for at least the last three years since the year 2011 when planet Earth herself graduated to the fourth-density.  So, I will write a few blog posts exploring some of what all this means and implies for the inhabitants of our Home among the stars. For we truly live in time/space historical days of the great cosmic clock and calender marking the unfoldment of the evolutionary process for our planet and our race.  Let’s travel through some of the prophetic material that has found its way in print through radical and daring authors. We’ll start with this one . . . .

THE LAW OF ONE: BOOK I —THE RA MATERIAL 

The RA MATERIAL(Click on the picture for a larger view.) This book, “The RA MATERIAL,” written by Don Elkins in collaboration with Carla Rueckert and James Allen McCarty, is a transcribed channeled interview with RA, a sixth density social complex, a collective body of beings that comprise the “Confederation of Planets in the service of the Infinite Creator.”

 The main topic of the interview is “The Law of One,” which is powered by unconditional love, compassion and understanding. To live a life governed by The Law of One is to live a life of unconditional love out of a consciousness of Unity. This is the spiritual path that, when taken by an individual or a collective race, prepares them for ascension from third density to fourth density being.  

RA: The Law of One states simply that all things are one, that all beings are one. . . . 

I highly recommend these books to my blog followers and visitors. There are five volumes in all, each one dealing with a different aspect of the evolutionary process currently being experienced by our planet and available for engagement by all third density human beings on the planet.

Ultimately, according to RA, there will be a “harvesting” of souls in the near future as planet Earth is increasingly unable to support and accommodate third density life forms.  This evolutionary process, as I say, is already underway.  The time of this “harvesting” is not predetermined nor set in a space-time period. The manner in which it will take place greatly depends on the collective function of human beings. It can be natural and easy or it can be painful and apocalyptic depending on the size of the critical mass who are moving in the ascension cycle in consciousness, in harmony with the Law on One. Form follows consciousness. As consciousness ascends, so does form transmute to a higher vibratory frequency.

WE’RE SURROUNDED BY EXTRATERRESTRIAL BEINGS POISED TO ASSIST  

According to RA, our planet is surrounded by fourth, fifth and sixth density beings, with some even incarnate in third density forms and walking among us.  In answer to the questions as to how many are incarnate on Earth now and of what density they are from, RA says:

The number is approximate due to an heavy influx of those birthed at this time due to an intensive need to lighten the planetary vibration and thus aid in harvest. The number approaches sixty-five million. . . .  

Few there are of fourth density. The largest number of Wanderers, as you call them, are of the sixth density. The desire to serve must be distorted [bent] towards a great deal of purity of mind and what you may call foolhardiness or bravery, depending upon your distortion complex [human nature] judgment. The challenge/danger of the Wanderer is that it will forget its mission, become karmically involved, and thus be swept into the maelstrom of which it had incarnated to avert the destruction. . . .  An entity which acts in a consciously unloving manner in action with other beings can become karmically involved.

THE “HARVEST” — or perhaps “Rapture?”

Christians look to an imminent day when Jesus will return in the clouds of heaven and lift up all “believers” out of the earth and take them with him to heaven.  Is this “Harvest” event RA describes the “Rapture” of which Christians speak?  I rather prefer RA’s scenario of how it will take place over the Christian version of human souls rising out of the graves and being taken up out of their automobiles while driving on the freeway to join Jesus in the clouds of heaven.

RA: . . . There are certain behaviors and thought-forms consonant with the understanding of this law. Those who, finishing a cycle of experience, demonstrate grades of distortion [levels of consciousness evolution] of that understanding of thought and action will be separated by their own choice into the vibratory distortion most comfortable to their mind/body/spirit complexes. This process is guarded or watched by those nurturing beings who, being very close to the Law of One in their distortions [forms of manifestation], nevertheless, move toward active service. 

Thus, the illusion is created of light, or more properly but less understandably, light/love. This is in varying degrees of intensity. The spirit complex of each harvested entity moves along the line of light until the light grows too glaring, at which time the entity stops. This entity may have barely reached third density or may be very, very close to the ending of the third-density light/love distortion vibratory complex. Nevertheless, those who fall within this octave of intensifying light/love then experience a major cycle during which there are opportunities for the discovery of the distortions which are inherent in each entity and, therefore, the lessening of these distortions.

(Note:  RA uses the word “distortion” throughout these sessions.  Perhaps we can understand the meaning of this word as RA uses it if we consider anything less than perfect love and Unity as a distortion — which isn’t either bad or good, or even right or wrong. Just distorted. Perhaps the word differentiated serves our understanding better.) 

Here is what RA had to say about that:

Consider, if you will, that the universe is infinite. This has yet to be proven or disproven, but we can assure you that there is no end to your selves, your understanding, what you would call your journey of seeking, or your perceptions of the creation.

That which is infinite cannot be many, for many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity you must identify or define the infinity as unity; otherwise, the term does not have any referent or meaning. In a Infinite Creator there is only unity. You have seen simple examples of unity. You have seen the prism which shows all colors stemming from the sunlight. This is a simplistic example of unity.

In truth there is no right or wrong. There is no polarity for all will be, as you would say, reconciled at some point in your dance through the mind/body/spirit complex which you amuse yourself by distorting in various ways at this time. This distortion is not in any case necessary. It is chosen by each of you as an alternative to understanding the complete unity of thought which binds all things. You are every thing, every being, every emotion, every event, every situation. You are unity. You are infinite. You are love/light, light/love. You are. This is the Law of One. 

(Note: “Love/light is the enabler, the power , the energy giver. Light/love is the manifestation which occurs when light has been impressed with love.” –RA)

CYCLES WITHIN CYCLES — WHEELS WITHIN WHEELS

Every 75,000 earth years a “harvest” of souls is done, as the planet itself moves to a higher density vibration.  There are three 25,000 year cycles in this larger cycle, the time it takes for one pass of the Earth’s tilted axis through the complete Zodiac Belt of twelve constellations. Our planet began its third-density experience about seventy-five thousand years ago.  These are approximate figures.

RA: One major cycle is approximately 25,000 of your years. There are three cycles of this nature during which those who have progressed may be harvested at the end of three major cycles. That is, approximately between 75 and 76,000 of your years. All are harvested regardless of their progress, for during that time the planet itself has moved through the useful part of that dimension and begins to cease being useful for the lower levels of vibration within that density.

THE MISSION OF THE WANDERERS

The sole mission of the Wanderers incarnate on Earth is to increase the number of those who will be able to graduate to fourth density life on this planet. Those not incarnate are surrounding the planet ready to assist in the harvesting. Those third density human beings who are not ready for the fourth density will he taken to a third density planet in the galaxy where they can be supported and where they will continue in the evolutionary process. This has happened before approximately 500,000 years ago, according to what RA says:

At one time/space, in what is your past, there was a population of third-density beings upon a planet which dwelt within your solar system. There are various names by which this planet has been named. The vibratory sound complex [name] most usually used by your peoples is Maldek. These entities, destroying their planetary sphere, thus were forced to find room for themselves upon this third-density which is the only one in your solar system at their time/space present which was hospitable and capable of offering the lessons necessary to decrease their mind/body/spirit distortions with respect to the Law of One. . . .  

They came through the process of harvest and were incarnated through the process of incarnation from your higher spheres within this density. . . .

The population of your planet contains many various groups harvested from other second-dimension and cycled third-dimension spheres. You are not all one race or background of beginning. The experience you share is unique to this time/space continuum.

Perhaps this explains the many and varied nationalities currently dwelling on the planet. It seems the entities from Maldek are having a difficult time learning their lesson, bent as they appear to be upon destroying this planetary sphere as well.  Do you feel you do not fit in this world?  Welcome, Wanderer, to the graduation ceremony.

HOW LONG WILL THE HARVEST LAST?

In the Book of Daniel of the Old Testament, chapter 12, there is mentioned a period of “time, times, and a half.” That is to say three-and-a-half units of time . . . and this is where we shall begin the next post. Until then,

The Essenes, “Children of the Light,” Part 3:The Teacher

The Teacher’s Message

If you can forgive completely, the past disappears for you. If you forgive completely, you don ‘t need to worry about the future either; you can function as fully aware beings, fully conscious beings, working and moving in the moment and focusing the energies of the Divine Presence. (Excerpted from The Essenes – Children of the Light.)

Tony's picture 2 from PeggyI have been writing about the Essenes  and how they provided “The Teacher” with a core circle of trusted friends, as well as a vibrational hedge for his ministry. His twelve apostles and disciples were not all a part of that core. Only a few, such as his brother James, John the Beloved, his mother Mary,  Mary Magdalene, and Joseph of Arimathea.  Those who comprised his core and hedge lived in the Essene communities near the banks of the Dead Sea. Their purpose centered in living out of love, compassion and understanding. Their mission was about spreading The Teacher’s message of love among the people of the extended Jewish community. Few, however, had ears to hear and eyes to see. 

On Time and Timelessness

The Essenes BkIn this book, pictured here, we are given a portrayal of  the Master Jesus and the essence of his message through a man named Daniel who lived in the Qumran Community at the time of the Teacher’s ministry. During a past life regression interview with Daniel through Stuart conducted by Joanna, here is what Daniel had to say about the Teacher’s personal atmosphere. Joanna had asked him about grace. 

Daniel: Grace is a gift of love and healing from the highest level. God going the extra mile to meet us upon the road of life. We considered that we were living in a time of Grace, and we felt that this Grace centered around Jesus. He was the bringer of our Grace because many cosmic energies focused around him, and made possible breakthroughs in consciousness, and a transformation in the lives of those who came into his presence.

Some ones, who had sight upon very high levels, told me that when they looked at Jesus they did not see only his aura, they saw this vast vortex of cosmic energy whirling around him. They said it was like the layers of an onion, an infinite number of transparent layers of energy moving out and out into the universe. So that he was the center of all things, the center not only of our drama but the whole drama of the planet. He was the center of all things, and forces were gathered around him that made many things possible. Others who were attuned to the higher reaches of the angelic realm said that around Jesus they sensed the presence of very high angels.

He was the bringer of Grace – who else could be a focus for all these energies? And because all these energies were focused together, we could move through our experience faster. It quickened everything. You could not be anywhere near him and not move more quickly along your path.

Joanna: Tell me more about this vortex of energy surrounding Jesus.

Daniel: We were aware that a whole vortex of cosmic energy revolved around Jesus and that anyone who encountered him stepped into that vortex. That was  really the miracle for us. Not that he did this or that remarkable healing, but that his whole being was a focus of cosmic energy, and thus he could bring profound changes into the lives of all those he met who could accept these energies.

As his work flowered he became more a timeless being, talking about timeless things which would be relevant in any age. Time did not touch him, he escaped from time and that was part of his work and part of his gift. But we knew that in the end time might dilute and distort the message he came to bring. Once the Teacher is no longer physically present, the Teaching may become changed and weakened. What needs to go forward is the essential message that Jesus was trying to convey: unconditional love working through the heart, and the surrendering of the will to the Divine Presence within.

The more one surrenders one’s will to the Divine Presence, the more one merges with that Presence which is within every human being, the more the path opens and the way becomes clear and straight. Then one can go forward and rise in consciousness and ascend into new frequencies of being. All of this was what Jesus was trying to teach his disciples and the groups around him. He was trying to teach this but
many did not want to hear this message, and would much rather have rigid structures. The inner truth is of the Spirit and lives, and anything which is of the letter has its day, flowers and is gone.

Remember always that Jesus lived in a difficult and troubled time. Many people were frightened, and in their fear they clung to the comforting thought of a strong Father who would protect them. They preferred a strong external perception of Deity, a strong Father rather than the Divine Presence within. They saw the within as weak, and the external forces as strong and threatening. Jesus came to show them how strong the Divine Presence could be. How it could burn like a great Light within him and illumine the lives of all those around him, but many in their fear were not able to see this.

He was offering them a chance to step out of the child state and become fully adult in the spiritual sense, but this step was too much for them. They wished to be the powerless children of a loving Father for a little while longer. You know, he never blamed them for that. He used to say that we should have faith in the ability of every human being to awaken at exactly the right time, like a flower which opens in its due season. If we choose to awaken and become spiritually adult we can become creators with God, but many were not ready for that. They wished to slumber a little longer, to be the passive children of creation, walking hand in hand with the Father but unwilling to share in Divine knowledge and Divine power.

Joanna: And the vortex of energy around Jesus helped people to awaken at the right time?

Daniel: Yes. Because of all the vortex of power around Jesus he was able to pull people out of an obsession with the past and into the moment. When they were in his presence, the past disappeared. They realized that nothing was important but the moment, and that they were free to act within that moment.

This was one of the gifts Jesus brought for many ones, the ability to focus and act in the present in a way they had never experienced before he came. If you can forgive completely the past disappears for you. If you forgive completely you don ‘t need to worry about the future either, you can function as fully aware beings, fully conscious beings, working and moving in the moment and focusing the energies of the Divine Presence.

Nothing else is important; nothing else will exist for you. That is why Jesus excited so many people. They could feel themselves being pulled out of time and into timelessness, out of the past into the everlasting present which is the only place in which you have power. The past and the future, if you are entangled with guilt or with worries and anxieties, rob you of your power. Only the present gives you power, and forgiveness is the key to ensuring you stay within that focus, expanding your awareness and living fully within the moment. This is living as God intended. This is joy. This is freedom – and this is what Jesus taught. This is the most wonderful gift which he gave to us.

We feel that this section was one of Daniel’s greatest gifts, too. It made us see the work of Jesus in a totally new light, and we realized that it is as much needed today as when he taught this wisdom two thousand years ago. Somehow in these words of Daniel all the dead weight of centuries of dogma and doctrine fell away, and the message – and the gift – of Jesus shone through.

The Essenes, “Children of the Light,” part 2: Group Souls


My Chorale PicI love books that arouse in me that gut-wrenching deja vu that shouts  “I know, I was there!” Stuart Wilson & Joanna Prentis’s book The Essenes – Children of the Light is such a book.

Have you ever had a deep core feeling that you are part of a group Soul that’s been on Earth before, probably in several incarnations? I have. I’m having that gut feeling  again as I read about the Essenes, especially about how they healed with sound and practiced attunement on a daily basis. I have the feeling when singing with or listening to a choral group, like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. To me all musicians are angels of sound, of which there are legions, most of whom dwell in the Realms of Light singing praises to the Creator of the Universe. Others comprise groupings that incarnate together to bring the music of heaven to earth to facilitate specific outworkings in human affairs and world events . . . and perhaps to make life in this “vale of tears” a bit more enjoyable. 

This is the case with the Essenes, who lived in intentional communities along the shores of the Dead Sea prior to and during the life of Jesus, whom they called “The Teacher.”   They are a group Soul that has incarnated on many occasions to prepare the way for the incarnation and mission of great ones, like the Buddha, Krishna, and Jesus, all three of which are believed to be the incarnations of the same great Being, the Lord of Love.  They are back — or perhaps I can say “we are back” — and have been for the duration of the last century, at lease since the early 1900’s. Our purpose is to bring the New Heaven into the world to provide a living foundation based on the truth of love and of life upon which the New Earth is to be created and is being created even now. 

Is Jesus Returning?

Does this mean that the Lord of Love is about to return? I don’t know. What I do know is that we have been visited by great ones in our time. I personally know of two such ones who have come and gone after bringing the same message of love that “The Teacher” brought two-thousand years ago, and more. They were my spiritual teachers and guides, and they had their group Soul around them to assist in their missions. And there are others, such as the Dalai Lama, who has his “followers,” or group Soul, around him. David Wilcock is now known in some circles to be the reincarnation of Edgar Casey, and he has his group Soul with him again in this lifetime.  He even looks like Edgar Casey, as do some of his close circle of friends look like those who where part of Edgar Casey’s entourage. His books are compelling reading.  

So, what are these great ones with their group Souls heralding if not the coming of someone or something great into the world at this time?  I’ve written in a previous post about the Archangel taking back his Body for the purpose of returning to His Father’s world to reclaim its kingdoms and make them once again the “Kingdoms of our LORD, and of his Christ,” as St. John wrote about and foretold in his Book of Revelation (11:15).  I’m not preaching here. Just citing historical evidence that something BIG is afoot.  And the Essenes are back to assist in giving it birth and full revelation in our day.  This is exciting! This is unprecedented. This IS the Day which the Lord has made, and we can rejoice and be glad in it. Now I’m preaching. But why not? Are we going to just sit around the TV and mope and whine about the dire state of our world, especially in the Middle East and with our run-away economy? Little good it does toward changing anything.  Only makes matters worse. We can change ourselves, however, and how we see what’s going down in our time.

What is Poverty, Really?

I awoke this morning at 4:30 with this thought pressing to be entertained — and I’m sure it arises out of all the fuss and bother we’ve been making over the top 1% who own 90% of the wealth (money) and the bottom 10% who live in various degrees of what is called “poverty.”  I may have my percentages wrong, but you get the idea.  The thought that came rushing into my awakening mind was this. What is poverty? Who has decided that a person’s collection of money and goods is the measure of his economic state, be it an individual or a nation of people?  The Federal Poverty Line in this country is around $23,000 in yearly income.  That’s what an average family needs to sustain itself in America.  Of course, it depends on where you live. If you live in California, for instance, you need two or three times that amount in yearly income just to stay afloat.  

But poverty is a state of mind. My yearly income is around $24,000 with my Social Security check and what little I earn as a semi-retired healthcare practitioner.  Yet, I don’t consider myself as being poor or living in poverty. Between our combined SS checks, my wife and I do alright. We eat well and probably more than we need to sustain life. We have a roof over our heads and a cat and birds to feed and keep us company. We even have a garden in our back yard and maintain two automobiles. Sure, we would like to have more money to travel and spend time with our children and grandchildren, all of whom live on the West Coast, where we can’t afford to live — or rather choose not to afford.  But we don’t consider ourselves to be living in poverty.  It’s definitely a state of mind, created by those who use money and possessions as a measure of a person’s “net worth.”  

So, why are we so bothered, or at least entertained, by the fact that 1% of the population owns 90% of the wealth in this country?  Or is that a global phenomenon? Is it the media that keeps shaping our perception of reality?  Or is it rather my own narrow-minded perception of who I am and what I am; my occasional forgetfulness of the abundance that surrounds me in the natural world, and even in the man-made world. We see new buildings and houses going up all around us.  So, there’s obviously no lack of money in the world.  It’s all a mater of perception.  And who in their sane mind wants the headache and stress that comes with worldly wealth. I buy lottery tickets and sometimes, when the pot is in the hundreds of millions, I get a little worrisome fear that I might win! 

The Simple Life for Me

I’m going to close this post with a couple of excerpts from “The Essenes – Children of the Light.” They didn’t care much about material possessions and yet they apparently lived very rich, full and meaningful lives. They also had a spiritual basis and purpose for their lives.  

The working day of the Essenes gave a balanced discipline of practical work, creative craft and art, exercise of the body, a period of study of great masterworks, a time of teaching and learning and of recreation. And through it all is the sense of working closely with the nature spirits and the angelic worlds, with all activity dedicated to the glory of God, and with joy in the heart. (Sir George Trevelyan, Summons to a High Crusade)

They lived literally in heaven on earth, and they made it so. The simple life is not a life of poverty nor of lack of what one needs to live a meaningful and creative life here on Earth. It’s rather a life lived in balance with nature and with one’s particular environment and circumstance.  A life lived with respect for the natural resources of the planet, such as water, which is rapidly becoming a precious commodity due to its scarcity in some places, like the West Coast.  Here’s what Daniel had to say about that in the interview in the book: 

The Kaloo [ancient ones from Atlantis] told us much concerning the use of water, and over time we became expert in this area. Our buildings were fashioned so that the walls were continuous, one flowing into the other. Using common walls and adjoining roofs enabled us to channel the rainwater down into great storage tanks. Where there was a nearby wadi  [a rocky watercourse which is dry except during rainy season] the waters from this were also directed down into the tanks.  So we preserve every drop of water, and this enables us to survive in arid areas that are considered too poor for any other people to farm and settle. Water is one of the most vital things, and we respect it and preserve all the water which comes from the heavens. There is a special quality about rain which has fallen through pure air in a good place. These are the essentials of life: pure air and water. Without these how can we be at ease within our bodies?

“Ease within our bodies.” Isn’t that really enough? Do we actually need more? More stuff? More luxury? More energy? To do what? Destroy our natural habitat and that of the animal kingdom? Unfortunately, we don’t have pure air nor pure rain water in most areas where human beings conglomerate in communities. But we do have filtering systems.

The point, of course, is that we can alter our perception and our perspective about so called “poverty” and  “wealth.” And we can do better than we have been doing in managing our economy and stewarding the natural resources of the Earth.

As I lay there this morning with my head comfortably on my pillow thinking on these things, I called my mind away from entertaining depressing and stressful thoughts and toward an awareness of the richness and abundance present with me in the present moment, the eternal Now.  It felt good and I felt secure in my Father’s world where peace eternally abides and love yet rules the day.  His love for His world and for us, for each and every human being on the face of the earth, is what keeps us from total annihilation.  The Father provides all that I need, has done so all of my life, and I have no reason to believe He will do less in what days I have left here.  God loves us more than we can ever imagine.  If it were not so, we would truly be living in abject poverty.  A timely thought in the wake of Fathers Day.

The Essenes, “Children of the Light,” Part 1

 

Tony's picture 2 from PeggyI recently read a most intriguing and wonderfully written book by authors Stuart Wilson and Joanna Prentis, “The Essenes — Children of the Light.”  Stuart Wilson is a writer and Joanna Prentis is a qualified hypnotherapist and past life regression therapist. The book is the result of their collaboration in the field of past life regression.  Joanna conducted the sessions, held at the Starlight Centre in England, while Stuart transcribed the taped sessions and edited the material into book form. 

Because of the importance and historical significance of the Essene story, I want to give as comprehensive a review of the book as possible, which will take a couple or three posts. I think you will be as enlightened at the end of the series as I was after reading the book. 

It’s who they regressed that made the book intriguing — or rather who the regressed subjects were in a past life.  Stuart, the co-author of the book, was the main life-regression subject, and Daniel Benezra was his name in this particular past life. The second subject was a woman the authors simply called “Rowena,” whose past life was lived as Joseph of Arimathea during the same time period as Daniel. Then there are a couple of other individuals who were regressed and interviewed. But Daniel and Joseph are the main two who offer candid insight into the life of the Essenes. 

The interviews are most interesting and revealing, mostly of what was taking place as much as 150 years before the coming of the “Teacher of Righteousness,” the Messiah, in preparation for this historic and ritualistic event. It seems that the primary purpose of the Essene communities was to establish an energetic field of unconditional love that would provide vibrational support for Jesus’s mission and open at least one collective portal in human consciousness to receive the Teacher’s message, which I will come to is a future post of this series. 

THE KALOO AND THE ESSENES

Stuart’s and Rowena’s past lives were lived at the time of Jesus and in the Essene Qumran community on the northeast banks of the Dead Sea. The Essenes were a rather secretive people whose main endeavor was to preserve the “Essene Way” and the secrets and knowledge handed down to them by the “Kaloo,” a very ancient race that was then going extinct. Also called the “Ancient Ones and the Wise Ones,” the Kaloo’s origin appears to have been the ancient and lost land of Atlantis, which sank beneath the ocean waters. The Essenes called it the “Old Land in the West.” Knowing their land was sinking, the Kaloo migrated to Egypt first and then spread out northward toward the Mediterranean Sea.  They were known as the “wanders” and carried with them many secrets, much knowledge of ancient technology from their ancient world, along with wonderful machines.  They didn’t have mechanical skills to operate and repair these machines, something the Essenes had plenty of and provided. 

Daniel says that the Essenes descended from this dying race and that the Kaloo were the originators of the Essene communities, entrusting them with the preservation of this great knowledge and technology. It was more likely that they were their “spiritual successors, their inheritors,” he says.  Stuart had also lived a past life around 100 BCE, at a time when the Essene communities were first being formed and populated by the “Children of the Light.” Even then, there was much anticipation of and preparation for the coming of the “Teacher of Righteousness.”

ATLANTIS TECHNOLOGY 

Part of this knowledge had to do with an early form of electricity. They brought these “jars” with them, which one can find images of in Egyptian hieroglyphic wall etchings. Is is believed that these “jars” were some kind of luminous devices (lights).  The Kaloo were concerned that this knowledge of ancient technology did not fall into the hands of the powers that were ruling the world at that time, technology that would have made them even more powerful. Apparently they found the Egyptians trustworthy. They did not wish to be sought after, therefore they kept on the move wandering from place to place, so it was important that the Essenes spread the idea that the Kaloo were an ancient race that had long vanished from the face of the earth. They settled the Essene communities in remote and less-traveled areas along the Dead Sea so as not to attract attention. They were very secretive.  

ITS TIME HAD COME 

It is this knowledge that the Essenes were now interested in releasing out of secrecy and given to the world through Daniel and Joseph. Its time had simply come. Besides, it was safe now to reveal this knowledge. The communities were now disbanded, having completed their primary mission with the Teacher, and the community members had dispersed into the larger world where they were no long able to be found and persecuted and killed by the Romans and those who had put Jesus to death. These powers felt threatened by their very presence and their secretive manners, as well as their association as followers of Jesus. Besides, the interviewers were obviously from the future in these past life regression sessions.  It was safe to let the truth and knowledge be known. 

A very interesting and revealing perspective surfaced during the sessions that depicted the apostles and disciples of Jesus as part of his outer rather than inner circle. Except for Joseph of Arimathea and Mary Magdalene and Jesus’s immediate family. The inner circle around Jesus was within the members of the Qumran Essene community, which was the central hub around which the other communities oriented.  

THE ESSENE COMMUNITIES 

There were nine Essene communities in all situated along the western shores of the Mediterranean Sea: in the present State of Israel, at Alexandria in Egypt, and in Syria. The southern groups were nearer the Dead Sea and the northern groups were up near the Sea of Galilee. Mount Carmel in the north was closer to the Mediterranean coast. Qumran was the largest of the nine communities housing as many as two-hundred residents at times.

Philo of Alexandria wrote about the Essenes in 20 CE:

“Their lifelong purity, their avoiding of oaths or falsehood, their recognition of a good providence alone showed their love of God. Their love of virtue revealed itself in their indifference to money, worldly position and pleasure. Their love of man in their kindliness, their equality, their fellowship, passing all words.”

Daniel’s primary role in the Essene community was as a teacher and historian. He also traveled around collecting ancient manuscripts and scrolls for the library at Qumran.   Joseph was a wealthy merchant who dealt in tin and other metals used throughout the then-known world. They were friends since early childhood and grew up together.

PREPARATION FOR THE COMING OF “THE TEACHER”

Excerpt from a session with Daniel:

Daniel: When Qumran was set up, the Kaloo began to found other communities amongst those open to the inner truth. Those who were open in their minds and hearts. One by one the communities were established. Not all of them flourished, and some had a most difficult time. Much work was done upon the energies of the Earth in preparation for the time when a great Teacher would come. The Teacher would need much support through a well-founded energy system. The Kaloo did all this and much more: they helped us, advised us, and visited the communities from time to time.

So the communities were set up, but because we were so secretive and kept ourselves to ourselves we began to arouse suspicion and hostility, especially among the Pharisees and Sadducees. These ones heard reports of our knowledge and feared that this might outstrip theirs, and be deeper and more profound than any knowledge they had. They feared that we might displace them from the position of power they held and they became intent upon acquiring our knowledge. That knowledge at any rate would remain safe. We guarded it carefully so that they would not get their unworthy hands upon it.

BRIDGE TO OUR PAST

Our history has roots in ancient civilizations and teachings. The way we think, our sciences, our music and art, our healing arts, our mathematics and physics, our religions and belief systems. These are all rooted in ancient civilizations and knowledge.  When I was in seminary studying for the Roman Catholic Priesthood, we were literally brainwashed to see much of our religious history as something to be shunned and condemned. It was literally washed out of our brains and discarded — not that it was ever in our brains.  We didn’t even study the Bible in seminary, which I thought very peculiar. Christianity, particularly the Catholic version of Christianity, has been put forward as THE form of religion the whole world should embrace, to the point of launching a war against those who would not embrace it. We’re still waging religious wars, if not in the battle field then in our political arenas where the religious conservative right wing battles the secular liberal left wing for control of the nation’s political system and policies that govern people’s lives.  As we know, of course, it’s not about religion or politics. It’s about power and control. What has become of us?

Over the last couple of decades I have been revisiting these ancient teachings and learning about them. And I have to tell you that I am enjoying what I am reading in various books.  What I am seeing in this book is that the Essenes and the Kaloo actually provided a bridge to out past which I think merits focused consideration.  I offer you an opportunity to do just that in this blog series on “The Essenes, Children of the Light.”  Like me, you may even find a resonant spot in your soul’s memory that says you were there . . . and that you are back to help finish the mission we incarnated for over two-thousand years ago.

At least the planet appears to be shifting to a higher frequency, and our bodies are very much a part of the planet, so they would also be ascending along with it. Is this an automatic process happening to us, or do we have any part to play in facilitating the process? I believe that both things are happening. Our bodies are being uplifted to a higher frequency and we have a part to play in the process—that is if we wish to take our bodies with us, which may well be possible one day, but not yet. Presently, we can only take our spiritual bodies with their subtle substance with us when we make our transition in what is called death.

The question “Are we ascending?” begs some clarification.The answer would depend on who we are—or rather who we think we are. If by “we” we are referring to the incarnate beings we are in the spiritual sense, then I think there is a consensus among the awakened majority of us that the beings we are already live at a  higher level than the physical and, therefore, do not need to ascend. As for our physical bodies and outer being which includes our human consciousness, that all needs to ascend to a higher vibrational frequency in order to continue its existence on a planet whose vibrational frequency is shifting to a higher vibration. And the only way that can happen is by a power emanating from within and permeating every tissue cell of our bodies.

It is the expression of a higher frequency power through body, mind and heart of each individual that will lever the physical body up to a higher frequency. This is also true for the collective Body of Humanity. In this case, a critical mass is needed to provide that vibrational leverage. 

In the Book of Revelation there is mention of a critical mass of a hundred and forty and four thousand standing on Mount Sion with a Lamb. This could be a vibrational value rather than a quantity of warm bodies of “believers.” We know, for instance, that groups of people have meditated together and impacted world events, such as crime and weather patterns. Group chanting and toning has also been used in this way. It’s the quality of love radiation rather than quantity that matters.

LET LOVE DO THE WORK

In Biblical symbolism, the Lamb represents Jesus the Christ, the Redeemer of fallen man. Religious interpretations and creeds aside, what Jesus stood for, his personal mission and purpose for incarnating, was love. His expression through his human form was that of the highest frequency of love. His reference on every turn was to his heavenly Father. “The works that I do, I do not of myself, but the Father within me, he doeth the works.” His message was that of love. “If you love me, do as I command. Love one another as I have love you” and “Love your enemies; do good to those that hate you.” And, of course, there’s the first and second Great Commandments:

“Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all of thy heart and all of thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.” And the second: “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” (Mark 12:30)

The “Father within” is love. Here is what the author of Revelation, John the Beloved, wrote about the vision he was having:

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred and forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.” (Rev. 14:1)

We lead forth with the thoughts in our foreheads in everything we undertake to do. They are written as intentions in our fore brains. Our creative energies follow our thoughts to manifest those thought forms at lower frequencies so that we may see and enjoy them at the physical level.

Although we are told by health authors that we are what we eat, that isn’t the whole truth. We are also what we think and express. James Allen writes about this in his little book As A Man Thinketh.

The aphorism, “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he,” not only embraces the whole of a man’s being, but is so comprehensive as to reach out to every condition and circumstance of his life. A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.

Well, that’s not all a Man is, is it? Man is a Human Being, a Being incarnate in human form. This aphorism indicates that a man thinks in his heart, not his mind. This is so, as we now know there are brain cells in the heart which communicate with brain cells in the brain. The Master Jesus apparently knew of this connection between heart and mind when he said “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” 

THE HEART-BRAIN CONNECTION

Your heart emits an electromagnetic field that changes according to your emotions.Others can pick up the quality of your emotions through the electromagnetic energy radiating from your heart.

The heart has a system of neurons that have both short- and long-term memory, and the signals they send to the brain can affect our emotional experiences.The heart sends more information to the brain than the brain sends to the heart.Coherent heart rhythms help the brain in creativity and innovative problem-solving.

With this knowledge of the heart-brain connection, it is easy to understand how love in our hearts can raise the vibrational frequency of the cells in our bodies. It doesn’t take much change in vibration upward—as little as half a pitch—to make the body impervious to disease. Just a little more and the body will levitate. Just a bit more and the body cells will vibrate at the speed of love, which is light. And just a little more than the speed of light, the body will shift levels, become completely invisible to third-dimensional perception. So, you see, we are not very far from the fourth dimension vibrationally speaking. After we ascend to the fourth dimension, then ascension on upward into the fifth dimension, or density as some would have it, and further would be possible. Man was created on the sixth day in Genesis. Our Home, then, is at the level of the sixth heaven, just a little lower than the angels’ abode in God’s seventh heaven. There’s a Biblical reference to this in the Book of Psalms.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angel, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. (Psalm 8:3-5)

There have been so many reminders of our place in the Divine Design and Cosmology. These Biblical passages have always intrigued me and drawn me to them in meditation. This one is one of my favorite.

The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.  Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.  Selah.

[The “LORD of host” could be the Lord Budha, or the Lord Krishna, or any one of several deities and ascended masters in the many cultures of the world. Being brought up in Western civilization, I more naturally use Biblical references of the Christian culture. Readers are free to reference their own cultural beliefs and sacred scriptures. THE PHYSIOLOGY OF ASCENSION

The body goes in the direction of the heart’s response. When the heart is open upward in utter abandon and perfect love response to the Lord of Love, and the head is lifted up with the mind focused in the highest image one may have of the Lord of Love, “the King of glory,” the body cells begin to vibrate at a higher frequency in resonance with the frequency of Love. Love can then come into the heart. “And the King of glory shall come in.” The heart sends a message to the brain, which sends a message to the hypothalamus, which in turn sends messages via hormone precursors to the seven endocrine glands, which are the “seven seals” of the book of life. According to the author of Revelation, only the Lamb can open the seven seals of the book of life. The Lamb is Love.

The vibration of Love moving in and through the heart opens the vibrational gateways—“ye gates and everlasting doors”—of the seven endocrine glands releasing powerful hormones that go forth into the body and raise the frequency of the cells. In an instant, the body begins to rise up off the ground in ecstatic fusion with the God Being incarnate. The cycle of ascension is thus initiated. The angel takes his or her body-temple up to the next level.

From my own personal experience, this is the way it works. There are no techniques, sound or otherwise, that can initiate this process. Harmonic sound can attune energy and subtle substance and facilitate its movement through the chakra and endocrine centers. As I mentioned at the start, I find that the F# Major chord as played in the clip does move energy upward in an ascending spiral. The Father within, however, “He doeth the works.” Love God with all.

Your Heart's Electromagnetic Field

Your Heart’s Electromagnetic Field

Tony Pics for SA BookWe’ve been considering the effect of electromagnetic radiation on ourselves and on other creatures of the natural world. In this blog post I would like to report on some of these effects. I have a personal interest in this topic which was greatly heightened during our recent visit with family living dangerously close to high-power electrical lines in the San Francisco area. I am deeply concerned that the electromagnetic field generated by the powerful currents moving through these power lines may well be affecting their health, and perhaps even their energetic interactions. So I am re-reading Dr. Robert Becker’s book THE BODY ELECTRIC — ELECTROMAGNETISM AND THE FOUNDATION OF LIFE in order to gain a clearer understanding of electromagnetic radiation and its impact on human and animal life.

OUR VIBRATIONAL TERRAIN AND CONTEXT

Electromagnetic Radiation

Electromagnetism can be discussed in two ways—in terms of fields and in terms of radiation. A field is “something” that exists in space around an object that produces it. We know there is a field around a permanent magnet because it can make an iron particle jump through space to the magnet. Obviously there’s an invisible entity that exerts a force on the iron, but as to just what it consists of—don’t ask! No one knows. [Walter Russell would challenge that statement if he were still around] A different but analogous something—an electric field—extends outward from electrically charged objects. 

Both electric and magnetic fields are static, unvarying. When the factor of time is introduced, by varying the intensity of the field as in a radio antenna, an electromagnetic field results. As its name implies, this consists of an electric field and a magnetic field. The fluctuations in the field radiate outward from the transmitter as waves of energy, although somehow these waves simultaneously manage to behave as streams of massless, chargeless particles (photons). As to just how this happens, again—don’t ask! Sometimes the phenomenon is called an electromagnetic field (EMF), to emphasize its connection with the transmitter; sometimes it’s called electromagnetic radiation (EMR), to emphasize its outward-flowing aspect. However, the two terms refer to the same phenomenon and are interchangeable. The only  meaningful distinction is between static and time-varying fields.

 Each energy wave consists of an electric field and a magnetic field at right angles to each other, and both at right angles to the direction the wave is traveling. The number of waves formed in one second is the frequency; the distance the energy travels (at the speed of light) during one oscillation is its wavelength. The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength, and vice versa.

Now, that’s pretty much the gist of the matter, the basic understanding of electromagnetism today. If you want to understand how this phenomenon manifests, then I would encourage you to purchase Walter Russell’s enthralling book THE SECRET OF LIGHT, which I’ve referenced and blogged on in earlier posts. Also, see the previous post for information about the history of electricity and microwave technology.

Let’s jump over to the section in Becker’s book where he talks about the impact electromagnetic fields have on our physical bodies and our brains. Let’s start with this frightening bit of information:

The human species has changed its electromagnetic background more than any other aspect of the environment. [This was published in 1985]. For example, the density of radio waves around us is now 100 million or 200 million times the natural level reaching us from the sun. Nor is there any end in sight.When superconducting cables are introduced [which they have been], they’ll increase the field strength around power lines by a factor of ten or twenty. Electric cars, magnetically levitated transport vehicles, and microwave-beam satellites for transmitting solar power to earth would each add strong new sources of electromagnetic contamination.

Dr. Becker calls it “contamination” for valid reasons. He goes on to do the research into the impact it has on human and animal life. Understand, it’s the low and very low and extremely low frequencies waves (LF, VLF, and ELF) that are issues. ELF waves approximate the dimensions of the earth; at 10 Hz one wave is about 18,600 miles long. These are the ones that affect subtle disturbances in our own energy fields and that of animals because of the resonance factor. Higher wavelengths of energy have more noticeable effects on us, like burn our skin. 

Higher waves, like X-rays, gamma waves, and ultraviolet wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation—the shortest are gamma waves, a tenth of a billionth of a millimeter long, vibrate sextillions of times a second—are termed “ionizing radiation, because the higher photonic energy can knock electrons away from atoms, creating highly reactive ions where they don’t belong. They are “free radicals” that can cause cancer. Much of the damage from nuclear radiation is caused in this way. All lower frequencies, beginning with the longer ultraviolet wavelenghts, are nonionizing, but nonetheless affect us in detrimental ways.

We can protect ourselves from the higher frequencies because we notice their impact on our bodies. As Becker explains,

Except for light and infrared heat, we can’t perceive any of these energies without instruments, so most people don’t realize how drastically and abruptly we’ve changed the electromagnetic environment in just one century.

Nor do we notice the impact low frequency waves have on our bodies and minds. Experiments were done with animals, but the results cannot be applied necessarily to humans because of the varying factors like fur, feathers, skin thickness, bone size, and the general shape of the animals that complicate RF and MW absorption beyond our capacity to gauge it. In a sense, Becker says, “…the entire population of the world is willy-nilly the subject of a giant experiment.”  

SUBLIMINAL STRESS

This is what grabbed my attention. The experiments Becker and his colleagues, Howard Friedman and Charlie Bachman, carried out on human subjects showed rather conclusively that electromagnetic fields of 5 to 11 gauss, which are ten to twenty times earth’s background and well above the level of most magnetic storms, when the lines of force were passed through the brain from ear to ear, cutting across the brainstem-frontal current, slowed down the subjects’ reaction time pressing a button in response to a red light. Steady fields produced no effect, but when modulated with a slow pulse of a cycle every five seconds (a delta wave frequency), people’s reactions slowed down. Passed from back to front, the force field had no effect. 

They were excited and eagerly planning further experiments when they “came upon a frightening Russian report. Yuri Kholodov had administered steady magnetic fields of 100 and 200 gauss to rabbits and found areas of cell death in their brains during autopsy. Although his fields were ten times as strong as ours, we stopped all human experiments immediately.”

Friedman duplicated Kholodov’s experiments with more scrutiny and found that all the animals had been infected with a brain parasite peculiar to rabbits. He explains why:

However, in half the animals the protozoa had been under control by the immune system, whereas in the other half they’d routed the defenders and destroyed parts of the brain. The experts suggested that we must have done something to undermine resistance of the rabbits in the experimental group. The code confirmed that most of the brain damage had occurred in animals subjected to the magnetic fields. Later, Friedman did biochemical tests on another series of rabbits and found that the fields were causing a generalized stress reaction marked by large amounts of cortisone in the bloodstream. This is the response called forth by a prolonged stress, like a disease, that isn’t an immediate threat to life, as opposed to the fight-or-flight response generated by adrenaline.

Here’s the clincher, over which I will leave you to ponder. 

Soon thereafter,  Friedman measured cortisone levels in monkeys exposed to a 200-gauss magnetic field for four hours a day. They showed the stress response for six days, but it then subsided, suggesting adaptation to the field. Such seeming tolerance of continued stress is illusory, however. In his pioneering lifework on stress, Dr. Hans Selye has clearly drawn the invariable pattern: Initially, the stress activates the hormonal and/or immune systems to a higher-than-normal level, enabling the animal to escape danger or combat disease. If the stress continues, hormone levels and immune reactivity gradually decline to normal. If you stop your experiment at this point, you’re apparently justified in saying, “The animal has adapted; the stress is doing it no harm.” Nevertheless, if the stressful condition persists, hormone and immune levels decline further, well below normal. In medical terms, stress decompensation has set in, and the animal is now more susceptible to other stressors, including malignant growth and infectious disease.

In the mid-1970’s, two Russian groups found stress hormones released in rats exposed to microwaves, even if they were irradiated only briefly by minute amounts of energy. Other Eastern European work found the same reaction to 50-hertz electric fields. Several Russian and Polish groups have since established that after prolonged exposure the activation of the stress system changes to a depression of it in the familiar pattern, indicating exhaustion of the adrenal cortex [the etiology of chronic stress and chronic fatigue syndrome]. There has even been one report of hemorrhage and cell damage in the adrenal cortex from a month’s exposure to a 50-hertz, 130-gauss magnetic field.

Further experiments with ELF magnetic fields on animals showed impact on endocrine glands and activation of the “fast” flight-or-fight hormones centering on adrenaline from the adrenal medulla. Soviet biophysicist N.A. Udintsev documented an insulin insufficiency and rise in blood sugar. Notably, animals showed no indication they were aware of these hormonal changes, when normally they would react as though they were under attack. They showed no outward signs of fear, agitation, or illness. 

Most humans certainly wouldn’t be able to detect a 100-gauss magnetic field, at least not consciously. Only several years after Friedman’s work did anyone find out how this was happening. 

In 1976 a group under J.J. Noval at the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory at Pensacola, Florida, found the slow stress response in rats from very weak electric fields, as low as five thousandths of a volt per centimeter. They discovered that when such fields vibrated in the ELF range, they increased levels of neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the brainstem, apparently in a way that activated a distress signal subliminally, without the animal’s becoming aware of it. The scariest part was that the fields Noval used were well within the background levels of a typical office, with its overhead lighting, typewriters, computers, and other equipment [cell phones]. Workers in such an environment are exposed to electric fields between a hundredth and a tenth of a volt per centimeter and magnetic fields between a hundredth and tenth of a gauss. 

That’s more than enough to digest in one blog post. What you do with this information is up to you, of course. Just be aware that there are these factors to consider when your health, physical and mental, gets off kilter. I consider these factors each and every time a client presents bizarre or even “normal” symptoms. What’s “normal” anyway when all medical research has to work with are humans who live in this kind of environment. Is there any wonder our healthcare system is failing us?  We have no truly health model of a human being to measure against. 

This all can be overwhelming and depressing if you let it worry you and don’t embrace it with a higher frequency of energy. That would be the frequency of LOVE, wouldn’t it? We’ve created an environment which will not very much longer be able to support our animal flesh bodies.

But I believe that there’s a greater purpose being served by all this electromagnetic pollution. This may well be the catalyst that is setting in motion the ultimate transmutation of our species to a fourth-density state of being, along with our planet Earth. It would undoubtedly be less traumatic were we to meet it with equal or greater radiant force and let Love work its vibrational alchemy from within.  We may not have to do anything about what’s happening in the electromagnetic and atmospheric terrains of our environment. What could we do anyway, shut down the power lines and dismantle our electrical power plants and grids?  Then what? Regress to candlelight days? No, we’re headed smack dab into a vibrational brick wall that we will only be able to transcend as spiritual beings with light bodies. Our flesh bodies will have to ascend to a higher frequency and transmute. In the meantime, enjoy your electromagnetic universe!

We know now the truth of our oneness with all life, knowledge that only emerged in modern thought in relatively recent times — well after Edison’s discovery of the light bulb and the proliferation of electrical appliances of every sort imaginable; well after the radio and television as well. But not before the proliferation age of microwave technology and the cell phone. We were warned as early as 1985 of the dangers of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR), sometimes called Electromagnetic Fields (EMF), to our health, physical as well as mental. Robert Becker warned science of this clear and present danger:

Since the earth’s electromagnetic activity has such a profound effect on life, the obvious question is: What are the consequences of our artificial energies?

He then painstakingly proceeded to publish such consequences. Of course, no one listened. The typical human attitude prevailed and prevails even today: If you can do it, you should, consequences to be dealt with later.

But what are some of these consequences? And how can we rationalize our use of artificial energy? A more profound question yet could be: Is it somehow included in the overall Plan of Evolution and the catalytic conversion of human flesh from a purely physical to a transmuted spiritual nature? Ah! Is there perchance method hidden in our madness, unbeknownst to even our own exalted intelligence?  Is evolution using artificial energy as a tool for transformation and ultimate transmutation?  Seeing how vast its presence and use is, we have to consider this possibility. Let’s explore . . . and inquire.

WHAT YOU CAN’T SEE CAN HURT YOU

Except for light and infrared heat, electromagnetic radiation and fields cannot be seen or even perceived without instruments, so most people don’t realize how drastically and abruptly we have changed the electromagnetic environment in just one century. Here’s a brief history:

  • Scottish physicist James Clerk Maxwell showed mathematically in 1873 that light was but a small part of the vast undiscovered realm of radiation.
  • Heinrich Hertz first found some of the radio waves in 1888.
  • Thomas Edison had set up the first commercial electric-power system in New York in 1882.
  • Nikola Tesla lit the Chicago World’s Fair with the first AC power system in 1893, and two years later he began the modern era of electrical engineering by harnessing Niagara Falls. 
  • Guglielmo Marconi sent a radiotelegraph across the Atlantic in 1901, using without acknowledgment a machine designed by the prolific Tesla. 
  • The invention of the vacuum tube in 1907 led to the first voice transmission by radio in 1915 and the first commercial station in 1920. 
  • Shorter and shorter radio waves, bounced off the ionosphere for long-distance communication, began to be used before World War II.
  • The development of microwaves was impelled by the fight against fascism, which helped win the Battle of Britain, allowed all-weather bombing of Germany, and gave the American Navy a decisive edge over the Japanese. The conflict also produced other electronic devices of all types.
  • In 1947 Bell Telephone set up the first microwave phone relay towers between New York and Boston, the same year the first commercial television broadcasts, also transmitted by microwaves, began. Since then nearly every human action has involved an electrical appliance, and today we’re all awash in a sea of energies life has never before experienced. Here’s a list of only a few of these appliances in use in 1985 when Becker published his book:

  1. Everything that runs on a battery produces a DC magnetic field.
  2. Strong magnetic fields are used in industry to refine ore, concentrate and recycle scrap iron, purify sewage, soften water for steam boilers, and many other tasks.
  3. The starting and stopping of an electric train turns the power rail into a giant antenna that radiates ELF [low frequency electromagnetic fields] waves for over 100 miles.
  4. Electromagnetic fields vibrating at 60 hertz (50 hertz in Europe and Russia) surround nearly every person on earth from appliances at  home and machines at work.
  5. Over 500,000 miles of high-voltage power lines crisscross the United States. Innumerable smaller lines feed into every home, office, factory and military base, all producing AC and DC fields. Metal objects near the lines concentrate the fields to higher levels.
  6. In addition, high-voltage lines are, in effect, a gigantic antennae operating at 60 hertz in the ELF band, the largest “radio” transmitters in the world.
  7. AC magnetic fields vibrating at 100 to 10,000 hertz emanate from antitheft systems in stores and libraries, and from metal detectors in airports.
  8.  Low-frequency radio waves are used for air and sea navigation, time references, emergency signals, some amateur radio channels, and military communications.
  9. Medium frequencies between 535 and 1,604 kilohertz are reserved for AM radio transmitters, which are limited to 50,000 watts in this country but are sometimes much more powerful abroad. 
  10. HF and VHF channels are filled with chatter from the nation’s 35 million CB radios, as well as shortwave bands for more ham radios, air and seas navigation systems, military uses, spy satellites, and police and taxi radios. VHF television and FM radios also inhabit this region. There are now (1985) over ten thousand commercial radio and TV stations in the U.S. alone, and 7 million other radio transmissions, not counting the millions operated by the military. 
  11. Weather satellites, some kinds of radar, diathermy machines, upward of 10 million microwave ovens, more cop and cab radios, automatic garage-door openers, highway emergency call boxes, and UHF television compete for the low microwave frequencies.
  12. Higher microwave bands are crowded with more military talk, channels of radar, navigational beacons, commercial communications satellites, various kinds of walkie-talkies, and America’s two-hundred-fifty-thousand (plus) microwave phone and TV relay towers. [As of 2011, there are some 7,012,000,000 cell phones in the hands of nearly 80% of the world’s population.]
  13. Like the infrared rays above them in the spectrum, radio waves and microwaves produce heat when directed in high-intensity beams. Hence they’re used for all sorts of industrial chores — bonding plywood, vulcanizing rubber, manufacturing shoes, sterilizing food, making plastics, and heat sealing the trillions of plastic-wrapped products in our stores, even opening oysters. Modern electronics would be impossible without the perfect silicon and germanium crystals grown in microwave furnaces. (Becker)

Dr. Becker concludes this section with these fair warnings:

The human species has changed its electromagnetic background more than any other aspect of the environment. For example, the density of radio waves around us is now 100 million or 200 million times the natural level reaching us from the sun. Nor is there any end in sight. When superconducting cables are introduced, they’ll increase the field strength around power lines by a factor of ten or twenty. Electric cars, magnetically levitated transport vehicles, and microwave-beam satellites for transmitting solar power to earth would each add strong new sources of electromagnetic contamination. A proposed electromagnetic catapult that could shoot satellites into space from mile-long rails built up the side of a mountain would require the combined output of the country’s thousand generating stations for the few seconds of each launch.

A few years ago most investigators believed that each wavelength interacted mainly with objects comparable to it in size. This was a comforting notion that theoretically limited each frequency to one type of effect and predicted that really troublesome problems for humans would come from only one portion of the spectrum–the FM band. Now, however, we know there are primary effects on all life-forms at ELF frequencies, and in other parts of the spectrum there can be consequences for specific systems at any level, from the subatomic to the entire biosphere as a unit. 

The rest of this chapter deals with the specific detrimental effects of ELF radiation on human biology, physiology, hormonal chemistry and mental function, which are too numerous for a blog post — not to mention the disorienting effect microwave radiation is having on birds and insects — the bees, for example, who reportedly often can’t find their way home to their hives, impacting fruit and vegetable plants that depend on pollination for the production of our foods. Bird migration has been disrupted along with that of the mammoth whales in our vast oceans. 

IS ARMAGEDDON UNDERWAY? 

Where is all this leading?  Where has it taken us? Are we destroying our natural habitat and committing suicide? Are we perhaps hastening the evolution of our species and facilitating the evolution of Gaia into a “Fourth-Density planet,” leaving it uninhabitable for third-density life — a direction in which David Wilcock proposes planet Earth is headed in his books The Source Field Investigations and The Synchronicity Key? Is electricity the very fire of bodily transmutation, an externalized force kindled and driven by the transmuting Fire of Love? Is this the fire of Armageddon that was prophesied to destroy the world? Ah, these are the questions I find thought provoking. What do you think?
