The Great Exchange Between the Realms

Sunrise at the Pyramid of Giza

MY HEART IS FULL this morning as I put fingers to keyboard and mind to articulating this fullness. It’s been a turbulent two weeks mentally and emotionally . . . but a victorious hurdle-jump, Thank you Father, with an increase in the intensity of energy, especially love energy.

Just after landing this morning and a dreamy night’s sleep, Cynthia Bourgeault’s EYE OF THE HEART caught my eye from my chairside table and invited me—more like a command than an invitation: “Pick me up! I’ve got more to share with you and with your audience.” So I sat down with a cup of Earl Grey tea and read Chapter Three: THE GREAT EXCHANGE.

As I finished reading, Bonnie joined me in the living room with a fresh cup of coffee. What transpired next was sheer magic as we engaged in a most stimulating conversation about the many levels of consciousness out of which the people in our world live and express . . . from the inspiring sublime spiritual down to the grosser levels of human degradation and depletion where getting is more dominant than giving. Our interchange was initiated by what I had just finished reading . . . along with the last sentence of a passage from an excerpt I share in my previous blog post—and with which Bonnie particularly resonates:

“In this realm the fruits of our human striving—both conscious and unconscious—are offered up to the whole. From this realm, in turn, we receive blessing, inspiration, guidance, and vivifying force, which are ours to share and bestow here below. Like a Sufi dervish, we receive and bestow, receive and bestow, as we turn and are turned within the greater cosmic dance.

After our conversation, I turned my attention to the world-radiation service hundreds of us share every morning, receiving and bestowing a unified current of Love from Heaven into the Earth and the world of human beings. Even as the radiant Attunement Current moved out through my hands and entire being, an equally full responsive current returned to ascend upward in gratitude for the blessings bestowed.

This giving-and-receiving dynamic spilled over into my breakfast time as I blessed the gifts of Mother Earth’s bounty, welcoming them into my body temple and lifting their essences of grateful praise up to the One who created them and breathed life into their forms. What an utterly delightful state of mind and consciousness, I thought, is available to us in this mansion of the Father’s House! I just have to share it with you and all who read my blog. I pray for the capacity for writing and sharing what I’m seeing in my heart. I surrender to the River . . . and the River speaks . . . through me and through Cynthia. I certainly hear the rush of many waters as I ponder what I shall write. Listen.

“Blessed is the Lion whom the man devours, for that lion will become man. But cursed is the man whom the lion devours, for that lion will become man.” —Gospel of Thomas, Logion 7

THE GREAT EXCHANGE

In this tiny, cryptic saying from the Wisdom teachings of Jesus, we actually find the kernel of the entire complex Gurdjieffian notion of the Trogoautoegocrat* laid out in less than thirty words—Certainly the moral kernel of it. Food, transformation, upward and downward exchange between the realms—it’s all here, together with the stunningly unequivocal answer to the question “What happens when we throw ourselves into the mix? The answer is that we wind up in the eye of the needle.

In the first of these parallel, trompe l’oeil [imaginary] transformations, man devours the lion, which means that he has digested, i.e. integrated, the fire and strength of his animal nature into the higher order of his conscious humanity; and the lion, thus transformed, steps forward as a servant and a vehicle. This is upward transformation.

In the second, when the lion devours the man, the man simply loses himself in his lower order bestiality; his human consciousness and cleverness become servants for his primordial rage, and what emerges is chaos and destruction. This is devolution, the downward trans-formation. And as the saying ironically acknowledges, “that lion has now become man.” It gets up in the morning, puts on its clothes, makes breakfast, makes policy, determines the fate of the world — and fills the atmosphere around him with the psychic toxins of his rage, fear, and alienation. This is “the terror of the situation,” according to Gurdjieff. And we do not have to look far from our immediate world situation to see it playing out.

A book authored and recently released by Kyle Harper touts a telling title: Plagues Upon the Earth: Disease and the Course of Human History. In the introduction is a fairly accurate assessment of how insidiously humankind is being devoured by the lower kingdoms, particularly by the parasitic and pathogenic realms of Nature, while our sciences proclaim to be “winning the battle” over diseases. This recent pandemic is a classic case in point. The human immune system is greatly overtaxed handling a toxic environment.

The goal of this book is to tell the story of how we have acquired our distinct disease pool and what it has meant for us as a species. It is a history in which we are a part of nature, rather than apart from it.” Harper’s argument is based on four sections of humankind’s technological innovations and how they impacted our relationship with diseases: fires, farms, frontiers, and fossils. “Modernity is not a one-way street to human supremacy over nature, but a kind of escalating ratchet, in which humans have gained a remarkable but unstable advantage over an ever-growing number of parasites.” Pathogens have one goal, and that is to pass on their genetic code. Humans have crafted themselves to be the perfect hosts for this goal due to our immensely dense population and the high transmission rate of our global interconnection. Humans are a successful species, and pathogens and parasites have benefited from our success.

The truth is, we do not belong at the evolutionary level of creation, certainly not at the level of “survival of the fittest.” Our mansion in the Divine Design is several levels higher, where we were made perfect and completein the image and likeness of God.” Our Human forms may be evolving, but not our Being, who and what we are.

We do not offer much in the way of blessing to our earthly habitat, nor to our own and other species. Out of all species on the planet, we are the only specie that is methodically destroying our sources of sustenance: poisoning our food crops with carcinogenic pesticides, polluting our air and water with toxic chemicals, and raping our planet of its mineral resources, not to mention our proliferating toxic landfills. The metaphorical Lion is devouring man and has become man, who is consuming his habitat and is therein cursed before he is born.

This is all a reversal of the divinely-ordained purpose of transmutation and exchange between the realms, where blessings and nourishment rain down from above and refined substance ascends in currents of praise and thanksgiving to the Creator of all the realms.

This bestial devouring activity has infected the nations of the world. On the global scene, nations compete with one another for dominance. The current hegemon is the United States of America, Inc., whose apparent goal is to foist its Democratic “genetic code” onto other nations . . . whilst oligarchic elements, both here and abroad, seek to infect Democracies with authoritarianism. The Military Industrial Complex—against which President Eisenhower warned us six decades ago—is the authoritarian Lion that has devoured and become Corporate America, amassing great wealth on the battlefields of nations. War is Big Business. We may not like nor want to look at this ugly side of our nation’s—nor our specie’s—character profile; but ignoring it doesn’t change it. The Lion has devoured the man, who is in dire need of transformation.

Cynthia continues sharing her profoundly insightful vision and perspective:

“The role of a conscious human being is to provide the phenomenal earth world with energies which otherwise would not be effectively transmitted to the creations and units which make up our world,” writes William Segal, one of the most brilliant first-generation students of the Gurdjieff Work. That is the bare, perhaps unglamorous bottom line. Whatever we like to think we’re up to in our philosophical or spiritual fantasies — saving the world, saving our souls, attaining full enlightenment — in terms of cosmic exchange, we are transformers, of molecules and of meaning in equal measure. It is the cosmic function apportioned to us in the great Trogoautoegocrat. If we do it a certain way, something happens to us and to the planet; if we do it another way, something else happens.

All the world’s spiritual traditions have tried to orient us rightly here through a fundamental baseline morality: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Even in the absence of any further instructions, a simple adherence to the great moral precepts emerging from the first axial age will keep
humans basically in right alignment to perform their required part in the great exchange. The transmission chain will flow smoothly. The lion will proceed toward man.

But the shadow side of these ancient moral teachings is that they tend to rely on an individualized, fear-and-punishment-driven vision of an afterlife to motivate compliance. In the pervasively secular and skeptical culture of our times, where the fires of hell hold about as much clout as Santa or the tooth fairy, the human moral compass has increasingly defaulted to unabashed self-interest. “Go for the gusto!” “Get all you can get!” “You’re worth it!” We all know the slogans; they are the mantras of our brave new world. And that is not merely a personal moral failure, claims Gurdjieff; it is an ecological catastrophe, for it amounts to a systemic breakdown, as across a broad sector of an entire pivotal species, “the lion devours the man,” and the flow of those essential energies between the realms is destabilized.

Even at the turn of the last century, Gurdjieff was already deeply concerned about what he saw to be a significant drop in the level of being required of our human species and hence of our ability to play our required part in the cosmic homeostasis. There’s little question that the past hundred years of our
planetary unfolding have more than borne out his concerns. When we collectively devolve, simply using our ambition and cleverness to live as successful lions, in that same downward spiral we fall below the critical threshold needed to maintain our place as “conscious human beings,” the fundamental pre-requisite for our full participation in the great exchange. When that function goes unperformed (or gets performed in a distorted or toxic way), it is not merely “our immortal souls” that suffer; the entire cosmic equilibrium is thrown out of whack.

I think we all sense in our bones that there is a closer and more organic connection than we would com-fortably like to admit to between the kinds of energies we humans pump into the atmosphere as the fruit of our moral actions and the tangible effects of this “imaginal pollution” on the biosphere. We sense this, but we do not know why, for the traditional metaphysical maps are still based on outmoded science, and the modern scientific maps (with the notable exception of the one proposed by Teilhard de Chardin, who was at least bold enough to make a first stab at a new paradigm) do not yet integrate — or in most cases even acknowledge — the moral dimension implicit in all this. What does the handoff between radial and tangential energy actually look like? In what sense is human virtue an actual “food” supporting organic life on earth? And where and how in our own work of conscious transformation does the exchange between the realms actually get played out?

These are among the crucial missing pieces embedded in those overlapping diagrams of the worlds we started to consider in the previous chapter. In this chapter I will continue to explore this perhaps strange new way of fitting the pieces together in the hopes that it might open up a fresh angle of approach to some of the tragic impasses (intellectual, spiritual, ecological) of our own times. As we move beyond the traditional moral arguments into a closer look at the actual mechanics of the exchange that goes on here at this all-important mi-fa junction point, I think we will see with deepening resolve — and perhaps with deepening “remorse of conscience,” as Gurdjieff would put it — why our human orientation toward the good is not a personal virtue but a collective cosmic responsibility.

The operative word for me is “collective.” As we human beings continue to increase our love for one another, unconditionally, even as the Lord of Love loves us each one, that collective Body will naturally and magically come together. We all know this. All that remains is for us to consistently do it. Our Creator needs us as One Body to do the Greater Works sorely needed in our world.

I leave you to ponder these things as I turn my attention to Holy Week when Christians the world over observe Lent with ashes on their foreheads reminding them of their earthen origin . . . and destination . . . one scenario anyway. I have another to share in my next post. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

*Trogoautoegocratic refers to an open system dependent on external, higher forces. A system under trogoautoegocratic law will submit to a process of transmutation in order to sustain indefinitely. Transmutation is the generation of heat and light through conscious works and voluntary sacrifice.

“Transmutation With Regard to the Entire Earth” (reposted)

“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that thou art mindful of him?  and the son of man that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hath crowned him with glory and honor.” (Ps 8:3-5)

I LIVE IN AWE of the beauty, order and harmony in this vast Universe, and love  contemplating the design of things, both physical and vibrational, and by what power and force they function and move about — like how do the yellow purslane know when the sun rises and sets so they can open and close with its rhythm and timing?  Mysteries such as this give me a sense of wonder at the magic of Nature.

When I first met my spiritual mentor, Lord Martin Cecil, in 1968, my heart was split wide open and my mind lept for joy with what I was hearing him articulate.  For eighteen enlightening and engaging years I sat at his banquet table feasting on every marcel of clarifying truth that trumpeted through his resonant voice, and learning how to live them.  Those were transformative times. Today I find deeper understanding of what he brought forth in his plethora of services when I revisit them.

In 1979 he gave a rather in-depth and detailed consideration to the design, both physical and spiritual, or vibrational, of planet Earth.  Borrowing the transcription from my friend David Barnes’ blog The Great Cosmic Story, I published excerpts of it on my blog in increments starting in June, 2020 and took it up again in my post of July 19th, 2020.

In his presentation, Martin speaks forthrightly to incarnate angels everywhere who are emerging in an apocalypse of light, speaking truth to power and handling situations in the world with assurance, integrity and spiritual authority.

For a comprehensive appreciation of the consideration, I recommend that you take the time to visit these two posts and read the excerpts before reading the one I am reposting here.  I am publishing here the portion of Lord Exeter’s consideration taken from my post of July 25, 2020 for meditation.

“Transmutation With Regard to the Total Earth” (continued)

We have been considering the resurrection. The womb may be said to be the means by which life is born. The substance of love was first necessary if there was to be the substance of the womb. There is nothing else but love substance, all the way through—love substance but at different vibratory levels. And the substance of the womb is the heaven in relationship to the life that is to be born. We find at every level there is a heaven involved—a connection. You may remember that the second day of the creative cycle described in Genesis spoke of the firmament, the heaven, the connection between the waters above and the waters below, between the truth above and the truth below—the means by which what is below may be brought forth. The heaven at any level is rightly a state where there is a particular atmosphere and a particular enfoldment and a particular control, by which the creative process may continue. All that indicates the presence of what is called truth. So there is a heaven connecting the substance of love above with the substance of life below. There is one heaven.

We may also see that this total area is the Triune Heaven relative to this area here—what we have called the Triune Earth. What is above is spirit, present in the dimensional world, and the fourth, the level of the heart, represents the connection, the heaven, between what is above and what is below. What is below is the Triune Earth—we could look at them as spheres, which gives them another dimension, one inside the other. The visible earth is at the center. Insofar as physical vision is concerned, that is the only one that is visible. All the others are invisible. And if we were looking at the planet earth we might recognize the fact that it is much larger than the physical ash at the center. It could extend out to about the orbit of the moon.

The human view of things, which is based in involvement with externals, always emphasizes the lowest level, so that the earth, the planet, is thought of as being the thing—but it’s only one seventh of the thing. I’m not saying that all the various concentric spheres are regularly the same amount bigger than the one inside. This is merely a diagram of something. But here is a whole. The waters above connected with the waters below by the sphere represented by form, which relates to the substance of the heart—the pure heart, if the creation is as it should be, the pure heart which is the window through which what is above can shine into what is below and therefore be present relative to what is below. It all is there back of what is below—it all permeates what is below. But if the fourth sphere is dense, cloudy, then the larger spheres are not known relative to the smaller spheres in the middle, relative to the earth and to human nature. So the concern is that this veil should be dissolved, the clouds should be dissolved, so that it all may be known as One.

The smallest part of it is the earth. The smallest of us is our physical bodies. There is much greater stature than that. Now we see the earth as quite a large planet in fact, relative to the physical earth—much larger than the physical earth. However even if it is as large as the orbit of the moon in fact, that is very small still relative to the size of the solar system. So here we begin to see the symbol of largeness in one direction and smallness in the other direction.

Now this heaven, which includes the realms of what we call spirit in the dimensional world—seven, six and five—is the cool place, where there is a temperate atmosphere. It’s a comfortable place for angels to dwell. And it is a place of control—this is the kingdom. As the connecting sphere becomes a window through which the nature and quality of heaven may shine, it emerges into the three lowest spheres as the fire of transmutation. In other words, the hot place is the Triune Earth. Here is where the fire is burning in order to transmute the substance, beginning with the physical substance of the earth, into substance of a higher vibratory level. Here is the returning aspect of the cycle—ascension, something moving up. There is the process of transmutation at work in the earth. This is the primary level of where the transmutation is occurring, so that there may be a movement upward, not as though the earth was going someplace—that might not be the concept with respect to the earth but it has been in Christianity. The physical earth is supposed to pop up out of the graves and go to heaven someplace.

But there is no movement in fact in this fashion. It is a transmutation of the substance exactly where it is, not someplace else. And what is occurring may be said to refine—a refiner’s fire by which the substance is refined and changes its nature. We can see this in a very elementary way: the changing of the nature of the mineral earth as it is lifted into the bodies of living forms, whether vegetable or animal or whatever. The substance of the flesh of your body is different to a model of your body made in marble. The flesh of your body and all its various parts are composed of entirely different substance—it’s a different quality, a different nature. So there has been that much transmutation in the experience of your own physical body from the mineral level—something has been happening.  It is assumed that it is in the nature of a circle: the substance is just lifted up into your physical body, it stays there for a while, and then bang, it collapses down into the mineral kingdom again. This is not exactly the way it works now, in fact, but it certainly is not the way it was designed to work in the original creation—it isn’t a circle. There is a continuing movement upward, and whatever has been sufficiently refined to move to the higher level moves to the higher level. And what is not capable of moving to the higher level drops down to the lower level, so that it may be acted upon again by the creative fires in the refining process, and gradually it is lifted up. There is less and less left in the way of ash and more and more moving in the ascending spiral.

There is a transmutation occurring with respect to this total planet, not just with respect to the earth aspect of it, which is the very smallest aspect. There is something happening with respect to this total planet—a movement upward; an ascending cycle is at work. But since man left his position it has been a very slow and limited process. Everything has been at a standstill virtually. It is not working the way it should—only partially so—and very little has occurred of the true creative process since man fell. It couldn’t, because there was no man in place to let it happen.

This outlines something which is incapable of being encompassed by the human mind; but it is something that is happening, whatever words may be used to describe the process, of which it is necessary to become increasingly aware. Here is something actually occurring with which we are associated. If we tend to sort of blot it out of our experience with the idea that mentally speaking we can’t grasp it, then we certainly can’t participate in a way that is going to be of any value in the process itself, for which we carry a very definite responsibility.

As angels we carry that responsibility, and we are here to let that responsibility be fulfilled. As we move together these things naturally will clarify themselves to the extent that we are willing to let it be so, willing to let the Word of God be spoken in our own individual and collective experience. There is the ascending cycle at work, even though it isn’t working the way it should work. It is limited and restricted, and a lot more is descending than needs to descend in the true state.

◊♦◊

How simple and simply wonderous is the Creator’s design for our Home among the stars. The heavens and the Earth, the invisible and the visible, are inseparably one.  The last paragraph of Lord Exeter’s presentation holds the key to how the process of transmutation of the total planet unfolds with our participation.

As angels incarnate, we have access to the power of love that, when given expression through feelings, thoughts, words and actions, generates the fine substance of spirit — what has been called pneumaplasm — that serves as a vibrational bridge between the Heaven and the Earth.  Through this substance moves patterns of design for the New Earth that are pre-ordained by the Creator and established in the New Heaven.  In a word, this pneumaplasm allows for an attunement between what is above and what is below.  The Spirit of God moves upon the face of these waters, as it did in Genesis, and manifests light, the light that is the life of man and of all creation on the surface of the planet.  It also brings the transmuting fire of love to bear on the physical substance of the earth, the earth of our planet and the earth of our physical bodies by which we incarnated and through which we live and serve our Creator here in earth.

As I say, we have access to this power — along with the spiritual technology in the Attunement service — to extend the currents of love through our hearts, our consciousness and our hands in blessing to our planet, the blessing of Father Sun to Mother Earth.  We play our parts in this attunement blessing in the process of transmutation by which the earth and all that lives on her surface is lifted up in the refiner’s fire and caused to ascend to a higher frequency.  This is now being done by many angels on earth who recognize and have assumed their responsibility and purpose for incarnating —  and I know that they welcome other incarnate angels to join them in this blessing of our Home among the stars.

Close friend and colleague, Chris Jorgensen, co-founder of the International Association of Attunement Practitioners, recently wrote . . .

All living things create an atmosphere-energy-substance through their moments of living. A person’s atmosphere of living substance is generated by the radiation of Being, Life, moving through the human form. Every act, thought, feeling, and spiritual expression counts towards the creation or the dissipation of one’s personal atmosphere. The right use of the body, mind, and heart that creates living substance immediately effects one’s physical well-being, mental understanding, and emotional serenity. So, all moments of living are important because the experience of life is dependent on the nature and quality of one’s living atmospheric, energetic substance. . . .  In Attunement we use the word pneumaplasm as a name for the living atmospheric energetic substance. . . .

. . . . Sharing Attunement with any life-pattern(s) will generate pneumaplasm, and the quality and range of pneumaplasmic substance will be unique to the form. In the bio-pyramid of life forms on the planet, the human form has the potential to generate the finest and highest quality of pneumaplasm. Mankind – male and female – was created to be the crowning creation of all living forms for this planet. Through the human form the nutrition from the higher frequencies of Spirit/Being could come into the many life forms on the planet. Mankind was [is] here to be a conscious steward of the divine for the Earth!

If you have any thoughts along these lines and wish to share them, feel free to do so in the Comment section, or share them with me by email.  As always, I welcome comments from my readers as I enjoy and value others’ thoughts on the topics I choose to write about. Until my next post,

Be love. Be loved.

Spirit of the New Earth Vibration, page 2: The Alchemy of Transmutation

For fifty-plus year as a holistic doctor, it has been my role and privilege to serve at the physical level of life’s domain and to bring the higher vibrations of Spirit into the lower levels of Life’s expression in and through the human body.  In keeping with the nature of that service, I have sought to elevate my consciousness, and that of those whom I have served, so as to gain insight beyond the surface of anatomical structure and physiological function and into the energetic world of the Spirit that creates the physical body and continues to maintain it through its years and decades of useful existence and service. To that purpose, I have written down my meditations and compiled them into a book which I entitled “SACRED ANATOMY,” because to me the temple of the living God is sacred in all of its designs and functions, primary of which is the worship of God.

It is with some reserve that I proceed in sharing this consideration in a public forum such as this, as it is highly esoteric and sacred, intended for the initiated. The consideration of our sacred anatomy, presented here in the form of a meditation on transcendent essences, is not a scholarly study of human anatomy and physiology–although those aspects are given due consideration for accuracy. It is rather a presentation of firsthand esoteric knowledge, as previously noted, and inspired visionary insight and revelation.

In that light, I will continue sharing excerpts focusing on the reproductive system and the hormonal glands of the gonads that produce the seeds that initiate the creative process that brings forth the human body—under the guidance and protection of the Spirit of the New Earth.  In this excerpt I share my meditation on the role these sacred vessels and their function play in the transmutation of atoms to the rare substance that provides clothing for the spiritual body of the incarnate angel.

I believe It is our role as divine beings on the physical material plane to fuel the fire of ascension by which physical substance is transmuted and made rare for ascension.  That fire is the transmuting fire of the Spirit of Love at the highest vibration differentiated and stepped down as the Spirit of the New Earth at the lower end of the energy spectrum, as we considered in the previous post—which I encourage you to read, if you haven’t already, for the context it provides for this post.

The Spiritualization of Atoms

There is a remarkable and significant similarity between the shape and function of the Pineal Gland, with its mushroom-shaped head, and that of the male and female genitalia on the opposite end of the endocrine system.  They both serve as pointed vessels for focused release of a unified radiant current.  The sensation of intense pleasure during erection of both the glans penis and the clitoris, intensifying as orgasm begins to occur, is powerfully felt in the space behind the eyes where the Pituitary gland, with its anterior and posterior lobes–the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine embracing in the sixth plane of being–rests in the Sella Tursica of the sphenoid bone at the base of the brain. With the facilitation of the Hypothalamus, and the Limbic System just above it in the brain, the pleasure center of the brain, the Pituitary receives the release of the golden light of love emanating from Spirit through the Pineal Body, embracing it on its way to the eyes and forehead and creating the sacred alchemy which allows the fire of love to pour forth from within.  The fire extends down and out through the sexual organs as well as outward through the eyes and permeating the entire body.  All the cells in the body temple are permeated by the radiant outpouring of love and therein rejuvenated in the ecstasy of sexual orgasm.

With the outpouring of love’s emanations comes a refinement of pneumaplasm as it is drawn into the core of the ascending flame where it is refined even further.  This rarefied substance then rises to mingle with the substance of love contained within the heart.  The heart provides a safe place for the alchemy of transmutation to take place.  From this crucible, the substance continues on its journey upward reaching into the core and bringing the experience of heaven into the body temple.  Upon touching the core of love in our heart of hearts, pneumaplasm acts as a connecting substance between earth and heaven through which the currents of love pour forth into the body-temple and through the body-temple into one’s world.  Thus are the atoms in the earthly plane of being spiritualized and lifted up into the realm of spirit.

The experience of this release through the eyes is especially unifying as the two look into each other’s eyes to receive one another as angels while their union makes itself evident and powerfully felt.  Such moments of sacred sexual intimacy reveal the state of ecstatic union with the Beloved, from Whom a rich outpouring of love is known throughout the temple in waves of delightful pleasure. In his instructions on the “seven seals” Uranda describes what occurs at this level:

Here thou seest the activity of the Gonad Glands (ovary or testis) in harmony with the Christ Center in the Sacral region of thy spine.  Here it is that the active Spiritualization process begins, and as the body substance responds to the action of this Seal it is prepared for the ASCENSION.

This Seal has been variously called the Cave of Darkness, the Serpent’s Seat, the Coil of Kundalini, the Manger of Birth (Bible), and by other names.  As this transmuted substance begins its ascension through the Seven Seals, it is spoken of, all through the Bible, as the River of Life; and the Tree of Life which extends from one side of the River of Life to the other side represents the Positive and Negative phases of the Seven Seals, under or through which the River of Life is flowing.  The Branches of the Trunk of the Tree extend from the Glands on the one side and from the Christ Centers in the Spine on the other side.  (STM, Lesson Fifty-four)¹

Kundalini Shakti

The spiritualization of atoms in the ascending fire of transmutation was known to the ancient Hindu world as “Kundalini Shakti.”  Thomas Ashley-Farrand, an expert in the use of Hindu and Buddhist mantras, as well as in ancient Eastern religious ceremonies, sheds some historical light on this power center:

According to Hindu tradition, the nature of power is feminine.  Although the consciousness that triggers spiritual activity is said to be masculine, it is powerless without the feminine energy that drives it.  The shakti of kundalini, the feminine power cell lying in repose at the base of the spine, is dormant and latent in most of humanity.  When it becomes active even in the smallest degree, we develop the power to heal, the power to see things not yet come, and other special gifts of the Great Feminine.

It is taught that the locus of feminine power in our own bodies is the great kundalini power cell, which lies at the base of the spine.  Over the course of many lifetimes, this personal transformer powers our spiritual progress as its inherent shakti “awakens” and moves up the spine.  As the kundalini shakti touches the pituitary and pineal glands, it activates them in new ways, making more energy available to them. Dormant brain power potential becomes active in a way that cannot be described in words.

Shakti represents the active energy of the divine that powers all forms of creation.  In Hindu tradition, Shakti is anthropomorphized as the consort of Shiva [a masculine deity who directs the rising kundalini energy]. (From Mantra, Sacred Words of Power study guide.)²

These sacred vessels can be appreciated for the facilitation they provide in the process of ascension of atoms into the spiritual body of the angel incarnate.  The simple ceremony of caressing them gently so as not to arouse the glands into contraction and orgasm, or simply being still during intercourse, helps to initiate the movement of the current within the ascending flame, drawing atoms from out of the body substance into the upward spiraling flow.  In a rising current, atomic substance ascends before the throne of God in heaven, represented by the Pineal Body, to be transmuted by sacred alchemy into angelic light substance.  Thus is union with the Divine attained through this sacred practice and ritual.

This is an alchemical fire that burns through and within the flesh but does not consume it. The Crown Chakra plays a role here as well. A single ascending current of golden substance begins to flow and can be felt moving up through the Pineal Gland of both lovers.  In the midst of this sacred alchemy one suddenly knows the other as oneself. Flesh becomes vibrationally fused so that the partners feel what each other is experiencing and lose all sense of separateness, spiritually as well as physically.

This is, without exception, a most holy and powerful experience of union with the Beloved. Out of this union between two angels on earth comes a most exquisite, yet easy, release of love through a unified current of radiation as a portal is opened in heaven through which light pours out in ceaseless currents. These sacred times of worship, either alone or with another conscious angel, can be used to bring loved ones in our worlds, and our worlds themselves, into consciousness for blessing, healing and sanctification.  Consciousness then becomes an extension of the altar, now sanctified by the oil of love, upon which we may offer the tithes of our world of service upward for healing and spiritualization.   For anything that touches the altar is sanctified.  Sexual intimacy is very much an integral part of our angelic function as co-creators with God, and we would continually know that and participate in ascension as we return these sacred vessels to their holy purpose.  We do this by taking them into our priestly hands and celebrating our temple service to glorify God and to bless our world with shining light. ♦

The world would be transformed in a cosmic moment were these sacred vessels, now desecrated by abuse in darkened understanding, sanctified and returned to their sacred function. In the wake of such transformative change, spiritualized atomic substance would begin to ascend through the levels of being to find its way back Home in the Heaven of heavens before the throne of God, whose creating substance it is.  In this sacred function, we as the Body of Man restored would fulfill and complete our primary purpose for existence: the return of praise and thanksgiving by way of spiritualized flesh to the Creator, whose world this is. This could only be done by divine beings, angels incarnate, who have come forth in a radiant apocalypse of light, and taken charge of the physical material world in the name of our Lord and King.  It will never be done by “mere humans” eking out transient pleasure in self gratification. Such temporary pleasure is as nothing compared to the ecstatic pleasure of priestly function in service to the Lord of the Sacred Seven.

That said, the angel can come forth into conscious presence employing the alchemy of sacred sex as a path and means of opening the sacred seals to reveal the Presence of the One I AM.  This path has been taken before in ancient days by Pharaohs who sought to achieve apotheosis through sexual intimacy with the High Priestess, through whom he received his power to rule with divine authority.  It is a worthy and available path to those who would go that way in their transformation journey.  We will revisit this topic later in the chapter on Sacred Sex.  I invite and welcome your thoughts and inspirations. Until my next post in this series,

Be love.  Be loved.

LAGNIAPPE (Something extra for our urgent attention)

KISS THE GROUND movie: a two-and-a-half-minute trailer about a very hopeful film on saving the planet and our species with nothing more than growing grass on our farm lands through what is called “regenerative agriculture.”

“The Reward of the Wicked” — Everything Matters

“A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten-thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee; for only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”

I’ve been viewing videos about the horrible culture of human and sex trafficking, particularly involving innocent children.  It made my stomach sick. I had no idea it is such a huge business in the world of the rich and famous coast to coast and globally.  It’s impossible to behold and see this wickedness with eyes only. My heart bleeds for the children.  Thankfully, this evil is being exposed and its days are numbered.

The question always comes up for me when I read the biblical passage above, “Who are the wicked?” And the answer always is to be found in Jesus’s answer to those who would stone Mary Magdalene for her sins: “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”  Who am I to cast judgement on anyone?

We have all contributed to the wickedness in the world, as well as to whatever goodness there is there, and there’s plenty.  No, we may not be involved in human trafficking or sexual exploitation of the innocent, but we have all done our share of wicked behavior, in our thoughts, our words and/or our deeds.  Everything we do individually matters in the collective consciousness to which we all contribute and out of which we all, in the absence of mindfulness, express.

A friend and colleague once said: “Nothing is wrong.  Everything matters”—and so it is, although it’s hard to imagine how evil-doers matter and how what they do isn’t wrong.  “They?” Is there a “they” or is there only a “we?”  Or maybe only an “I,” and it’s what I think, say and do that matters in the collective experience?  How often have I heard my mind say “That man needs a bullet to the head.” Horror of horrors that I should even think such a thought, much less voice it, benign as it may well be unless I empower it with deep feeling that launches it into the mass consciousness where it’s then available to some unstable person.  Think about it.

A quote from my past college days springs to mind:  “There’s no telling how far reaching something we may think, say or do today will affect the lives of millions tomorrow. It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.” The developer of the philosophy of Chiropractic, Dr. B.J. Palmer, handed down these eternal words of wisdom.

Now, I know I’m “preaching to the choir” here—although intentionally through the choir as a way of sending my words and spirit into the mass consciousness, depending on how they are fielded and received by my readers.  Agreement is a powerfully enabling force—and that’s all I seek from my audience when I blog: agreement in the truth, in what’s right.

We are wise to see and behold the “reward of the wicked” only with our eyes.  We have hearts, however, to feel the energetic texture of what we are seeing and the largeness of spirit to receive it, hold it, and let it be bathed in love, compassion and forgiveness.  In this service to the One, the world, and we, are healed.

WORDS OF WISDOM AND OF LIFE

So many truthful saws (to borrow a poetic term) have been given to us over the years and eons of time.  William Shakespeare’s sonnet lingers yet in my memory from College English days:

“Let me not to the marriage of true minds Admit impediments. Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds, or bends with the remover to remove: O no! It is an ever fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken; it is the star to every wandering bark whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken. Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks within his bending sickle’s compass come: Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, but bears it out, even to the edge of doom.”

Then there’s this famous passage from the Bhagavad~Gita:

Arjuna: Yet tell me, Teacher! by what force doth man
Go along his way, unwilling; as if one
Pushed him that troubled path?

Krishna: Life it is! Life’s urge it is! used in darkened understanding,
Which pusheth him. Mighty of appetite,

Powerful, and strong is this!—man’s enemy or friend!
As smoke blots the white fire, as clinging rust

Mars the bright mirror, as the womb surrounds

The babe unborn, so is the world of things

Foiled, soiled, enclosed in wrong uses of Life’s urge.

The wise fall, caught in it; the unresting foe

It is of wisdom, wearing countless forms,
Fair but deceitful, subtle as a flame.

Sense, mind, and reason—these, 0 Kunti’s Son!
Are booty for it; in its play with these

It maddens man, beguiling, blinding him.
Therefore, thou noblest child of Bharata!

Govern thy heart.
Constrain the entangled sense!

Resist the false, soft sinfulness which saps
Knowledge and judgment!

Yea, the world is strong,
But he who discerns is stronger, and the Christed mind

Is strongest; with high o’er all the ruling Soul.

Wherefore, perceiving Him who reigns supreme,

Put forth full force of Soul in thy own soul!

Fight! vanquish foes and doubts, dear Hero! slay

What haunts thee in fond shapes, and would betray!

The beloved poet Rumi gave us this transcendent poem that speaks to another level of being and a safe place for meeting one another.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other”
doesn’t make any sense.
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don’t go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep.
People are going back and forth across the door sill
where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don’t go back to sleep.

There are so many wise words, not the least of which are those of the Master Jesus recorded and handed down to us by the scribes and cloistered monks who spent their entire lives translating and copying scroll after ancient scroll in order to preserve the wisdom of the ages for posterity.  I feel so blessed and thankful—as well as compelled to take heed of what has been given to us in the way of the Word.  God has spoken to His people through so many. Dare I let God speak through me and through you and all those who lift up their hearts and minds to the One whose Earth this is . . . “and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.”

Anyone can wax eloquent with words.  What matters is everything that I and every one of us think, say and do in our daily lives.  Nothing is wrong.  Everything matters.  Every emotionally-charged thought materializes.

Do we not see this pandemic plaguing the population of the planet as nothing more nor less than the “reward of the wicked?” The fall out of the wicked thoughts and actions of mankind that have “foiled, soiled” the collective heart and consciousness and filled them with all sorts of ill uses of the gift of Life itself, “Life’s urge . . . used in darkened understanding”?  It’s all mattering, manifesting on Earth from out of the spoiled heaven of the mass consciousness of humanity. The prayer of the crucified Man from Galilee must be our prayer today: “Father, forgive us, for we know not what we do.”

Beyond prayer, let us wake up and see and know what we are doing to ourselves and to God’s Earth before it’s too late and time is no more.  Personally, I believe we’ve already passed that point where and when time is no more.  This pandemic may well be our last wake-up call.

Yet, with all that said, the LORD of lords, whose Earth we inhabit, I know is taking full advantage of this crisis to bring about a balance and harmony between the Earth and the Heaven out of which it was born.  To make once again Heaven and Earth one. All is well and in God’s hands.

As a colleague acknowledged in a conference call yesterday, this pandemic has brought about a greatly needed pause in our busy lives that we would likely never have found time nor a way to arrange willingly and deliberately. A pause to remember that we are one community of people who really do love and care for one another.

I’ll leave it there.  Any thoughts stirred and wanting to be shared?  I welcome them.  Until my next post . . . if there is one,

Be love. Be loved

As Above So Below – As Below So Above

Stories of NDE’s (Near Death Experiences) abound these days.  The accounts are always the same: a person in the midst of a terminal health crisis leaves the body and travels through a silver tunnel toward a white light and enters a heavenly realm of incredible love, returns to the body and lives to tell about the experience. Their lives are changed forever as they begin to see life on earth through new eyes of love. I think that I would like to have such an experience. Wouldn’t you? Not that we need such to see with eyes of love.

But what do we really know about what’s on the other side of the veil that separates us from – and connects us with – the heavenly realms of light divine? No much at all. This is a topic that keeps us in a state of expectant anticipation, begging the question: “Just what is “Above” that shapes what is “Below?”

Macrocosm and Microcosm

In the atomic structuring of the microcosm, we have electrons orbiting around a nucleus of protons and neutrons. The nucleus radiates a positively charged field in which negatively charged electrons are held in an orbital pattern of attraction. Atoms are not objects that can be dissected like a frog but are intangible energetic essences.

In the cosmic macrocosm, our solar system reflects the pattern of the design of the atom, with planets orbiting around a star that radiates a positive field that holds the planets in their respective orbits.

Although it is common for electrons to switch orbits in chemical processes and molecular transmutation, it isn’t so common for planets to do so. Whereas in the microcosm this switching takes place in split seconds, in the larger macrocosm it may take centuries and even millennia for planets to alter their orbits or for our solar system to capture a comet, as it did in the case of Venus some five-thousand years ago, and add it to our planetary system.

As with the microcosm, transmutation takes place in the macrocosm when a planet is added to our solar system causing other planets and moons to alter their orbits. Our solar system – which I prefer to call an Entity in that it embodies the Creator – is not the same since Venus was added as a planet and Mars changed its orbit when these two planets collided with one another in our historical past. Our planet Earth is not the same either: its orbit was altered and the direction of its rotation was reversed when the comet Venus collided with it. According to geological research, our sun once rose in the West and set in the East.

With changes above in the heavens, changes below on earth occur, and not just in geographical structuring of the planet, but also in human consciousness. Human consciousness is impacted by what goes on in the planetary system – “As above so below” – and vice versa.  What goes on in human consciousness impacts what goes on in the solar system, and beyond. “Pluck a flower and disturb a star,” the saying goes. As below so above.

Am I saying that we are responsible for the cataclysms of the past? Yes I am. We were not the victims but the perpetrators of Earth’s traumatic upheavals. When we fell out of alignment with the Creator and began to create life forms on our own, we made a mess of things here below. We created giants and monstrosities multiplying flesh without the true patterns of the divine design and control; outside the “womb” of Mother God, in other words. That mess was cleaned off the face of the earth by cosmic forces in the Deluge of water and the wind storms of tornadoes, as well as conflagrations earth suffered in the fiery tail of the comet Venus.  We play a causal role as a cog in the Wheel of Life in our solar entity.

When we disengaged from the Wheel of Life and started turning our own cog, the wheel spun out of control. Havoc ensued and continues to have ripple effects on our experience of life here on earth.  The asteroid belt tells the story of a planet that exploded, no doubt wrought about by beings like ourselves who raped and pillaged their planet for its resources. Where did all those souls go? Perhaps they came here to rape and pillage the earth for its resources. Seems very likely.

“Third Rock from the Sun”

Perhaps the birth of Venus out of Jupiter’s belly brought balance back to the planetary system. The earth is tilted on its axis and has reversed its direction of rotation, an upheaval that sank continents and buckled the skeletal mantle of the earth, sending some of it shooting up through the surface to create the Himalayas and Rocky Mountains and other mountainous ranges around the globe.  Our Home among the stars has lost its plump spherical shape taking on the appearance of a rock when the oceans, seas and atmosphere are removed, as the video below I borrowed from a Facebook post by Antony Alex Sunab Bagalue graphically and dramatically portrays.

We’re Not Alone

Take heart, however, as we were not and are not alone in our rogue behavior.  The Gods were with us and walked among us in ages past, and I believe that some of them have returned and walk among us today.

There’s GMO in our historic past

Graham Hancock’s Fingerprints Of The Gods and Magicians Of The Gods detail his exhaustive research into the ancient history of the planet and human civilization. He writes of the “Shining Ones” and the “Watchers” who walked the earth before and after the cataclysms and upheavals and went about to restore their “Garden of the Gods” they knew on Atlantis before it sank into the ocean waters.  He also writes of the “fallen watchers” who were responsible for breaking our connection with the Creator, reversing their polarity in the Lord God Creator and falling into lustful response to their creation. They became centered in their external creation and how they were able to manipulate it through genetic modifications. We are still doing that today.

We learn from the sixth chapter of Genesis that the “sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. . . . There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, and the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.”

But that’s another story, too complex and profound for a blog. In a word, Spiritual Man had become physical man and his creations were wiped off the face of the earth in a Deluge. What followed the Deluge begins with this oft-quoted line in Genesis: “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.  And we know the rest of the story, which I’ve been writing about these last few posts. Noah was one of these “Shining Ones” along with several others who went forth after the Deluge to repopulate the human race and to restore civilization, if possible to the “First Time” before we fell from grace and stature and were expelled from the Garden of Eden. As I wrote about in the previous post, that task proved futile. Cosmic factors had changed.  Access to the fruit of the Biblical “Tree of Life” was barred to fallen man.

The Messiah’s Appearance Before Jesus?

Graham Hancock cites other Shining Ones and legendary stories of floods similar to Noah’s Deluge from all over the globe. There was Osiris, thought to be a group of deities who brought ancient technology to help restart civilization in Egypt and throughout the East. Then there were Viracocha and Quetzalcoatl, the civilizing deities of the Andes and of Central America. Viracocha’s Christlike spirit and his mission have an uncanny resemblance to those of Jesus:

He Came in a Time of Chaos

Through all the ancient legends of the peoples of the Andes stalked a tall, bearded, pale-skinned figure wrapped in a cloak of secrecy. And though he was known by many different names in many different places he was always recognizably the same figure: Viracocha, Foam of the Sea, a master of science and magic who wielded terrible weapons and who came in a time of chaos to set the world to rights.

The same basic story was shared in many variants by all the peoples of the Andean region. It began with a vivid description of a terrifying period when the earth had been inundated by a great flood and plunged into darkness by the disappearance of the sun. Society had fallen into disorder, and the people suffered much hardship. Then there suddenly appeared, coming from the south, a white man of large stature and authoritative demeanour. This man had such great power that he changed the hills into valleys and from the valleys made great hills, causing streams to flow from the living stone …

The early Spanish chronicler who recorded this tradition explained that it had been told to him by the Indians he had traveled among on his journeys in the Andes:

And they heard it from their fathers, who in their turn had it from the old songs which were handed down from very ancient times … They say that this man traveled along the highland route to the north, working marvels as he went and that they never saw him again. They say that in many places he gave men instructions how they should live, speaking to them with great love and kindness and admonishing them to be good and to do no damage or injury one to another, but to love one another and show charity to all. In most places they name him Ticci Viracocha ….

Other names applied to the same figure included Huaracocha, Con, Con Ticci or Kon Tiki, Thunupa, Taapac, Tupaca and Illa. He was a scientist, an architect of surpassing skills, a sculptor and an engineer: “He caused terraces and fields to be formed on the steep sides of ravines, and sustaining walls to rise up and support them. He also made irrigating channels to flow … and he went in various directions, arranging many things.”

Viracocha was also a teacher and a healer and made himself helpful to people in need. It was said that wherever he passed, he healed all that were sick and restored sight to the blind. This gentle, civilizing, ‘superhuman’, samaritan had another side to his nature, however. If his life were threatened, as it seems to have been on several occasions, he had the weapon of heavenly fire at his disposal:

Working great miracles by his words, he came to the district of the Canas and there, near a village called Cacha … the people rose up against him and threatened to stone him. They saw him sink to his knees and raise his hands to heaven as if beseeching aid in the peril which beset him. The Indians declare that thereupon they saw fire in the sky which seemed all around them. Full of fear, they approached him whom they had intended to kill and besought him to forgive them … Presently they saw that the fire was extinguished at his command, though stones were consumed by fire in such wise that large blocks could be lifted by hand as if they were cork. They narrate further that, leaving the place where this occurred, he came to the coast and there, holding his mantle, he went forth amidst the waves and was seen no more. And as he went they gave him the name Viracocha, which means ‘Foam of the Sea’….

Other descriptions, collected from many different and widely separated Andean peoples, all seemed to identify the same enigmatic individual. According to one he was: A bearded man of medium height dressed in a rather long cloak … He was past his prime, with grey hair, and lean. He walked with a staff and addressed the natives with love, calling them his sons and daughters. As he traversed all the land he worked miracles. He healed the sick by touch. He spoke every tongue even better than the natives. They called him Thunupa or Tarpaca, Viracocha-rapacha or Pachaccan …

Was he a Messiah? Or perhaps a shaman? Whatever he was, he brought a design for living on earth to mankind, indicating that there is a divine design for a “New Jerusalem” that is wont to come down from God out of Heaven. But it will not bypass human consciousness and somehow magically appear on the earth. The Divine Design for life on Earth comes down from God out of heaven by means of Human Beings, our bodies, minds and hearts. And from what we hear from those who have gone to heaven and back, heaven sounds like a beautiful place to live.

As above so below can be our experience as we would turn away – the literal meaning of repent – from our polarity in externals below and return to our centering in God above and within us; in love for the Lord our God and for one another. The time is right and the conditions in our solar system and galaxy are ripe for a radical transformational shift for Earth and for Humanity.  In true perspective, we rightly are above the earth and the planetary solar system in the sky above and around the earth. And there is the Heaven that is above us populated by Beings of Light whose pleasure it is to give us the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. As a friend put it recently, that radical shift awaits …

... the emergence of a level of consciousness not externally centered but able to coordinate with the creative pulsations of spirit in the moment with a sense of solar and planetary patterns affording a creative field for right action and for right action’s sake.

This, I know, is happening in our day and on our watch. Until my next post then,

Be love. Be loved.

On Human Relations, part 1 — What is love?

My Chorale Pic

In looking for what book to read next, Walter Russell’s MESSAGE OF THE DIVINE ILIAD came to mind.  I had read it some time ago and remembered the profound impact it had on me.  Looking at the front cover again, however, it was the subtitle that caught my attention: “THE DAWN OF A NEW DAY IN HUMAN RELATIONS.”

This theme also runs through Lao Russell’s book GOD WILL WORK WITH YOU BUT NOT FOR YOU, which my wife has been reading recently – which is likely why I was drawn to Walter’s book. What stands out to both of us reading these books is this matter of love, oneness and human relations. So, I would like to spend a few blog posts considering some of the wisdom that has come through these two authors . . . and perhaps add a little bit of my own.

As the “Golden Race” who are here to usher in a “Golden Age,” it behooves us to understand what love is. What does it mean to love God with all and our neighbor as our self? Let’s explore.

LOVE GOD

Of course this caption is redundant, for God is Love. When we feel love in our hearts, it is God we are feeling and experiencing. Love is God within us. When we love doing something, for example, we are experiencing the power of God working in and through us.

Here are some words of wisdom from Walter Russell:

A lady wrote me once that she hated making the beds and washing the dishes. I said: “Whenever you find that you do not like what you are doing, just remember that God centers you, and whatever you are doing you are doing it with Him and with His help. You cannot move your little finger otherwise. When you make your bed, just say, ‘Come, God, make this bed with me.’”

Later she wrote: “That made me love to make beds and do things I did not like to do. Knowing that God was helping me took away that feeling of loneliness and drudgery.”

Take joy in doing things; find happiness in doing everything the best way you can. If you have to do it, you must do it, so you might just as well love doing it. If you really love your work, you will not tire. Conversely, if you hate your work, you will poison yourself by that hatred and the poison must be removed by an understanding of the universal law of balance. Any other form of relief which does not remove the cause can only be temporary.

The way this truth is phrased quickened a fresh perspective in me: “…just remember that God centers you.” As I extend this truth outward to include everyone and every living thing around me, my worldview suddenly takes on a renewed quality of compassion. God centers all living creatures, including those who do “evil” deeds – terrorists, murderers, bank robbers and rapists. God centers them, too, although their actions do not seem to arise from that center but out of their conflicted hearts and misguided minds. Still, God centers us all, goes where we go, does with us what we do.  That’s a provocative thought . . . and, at the same time, empowering.  God does not pick up and leave us when we fail to act out of the Love that centers us.  God powers our every action. We simply provide direction. Nor does God abandon those who do harm to others and enact horrific crimes against humanity — our enemies. “Love your enemies,” the Teacher instructed, “Do good to those that hate you.” In other words, love God in your neighbor as your Self. Or, simply, love God.

LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS SELF

Lao Russell has written some wonderfully inspiring words in her book as well. In Chapter XVI, entitled “Love Ye One Another,” she speaks passionately and longingly about the family of Man as One Body of siblings who share One Father and One Mother.

“Man does not yet know how to live with other men. He has not yet found that every other man on earth is part of his very body, his very self, not merely his brother. . . . Three thousand miles away means nothing. What happens three thousand miles away happens in our own homes. People who are hurt three thousand miles away are being hurt in our own homes, for what happens anywhere happens everywhere.”

Then she waxes beautifully with deep passion as a mother who longs for the healing of her feuding family.

[The world] must see the good in man and not look upon him as sinful and evil. The world becomes what the world thinks. It thinks of man as sinful and evil and he has become what his own thoughts have made him. He has made a world of hate and fear, and where hate is love cannot also be.

There will come a time, however, when the whole human race will know itself as one family, with but the one FATHER-MOTHER of all. When that day comes every man will be the father and mother, or brother and sister, or son and daughter of every other man. As love comes into the world with spiritual unfolding, separateness and disunity go out of it. With love comes knowledge of the power of unity which makes the power of every man become the power of every other man. Separateness and selfishness breed each other. Separateness makes one man want for himself what every other man also wants for himself. Separateness takes. It never gives, and long ages of taking must pass before he learns that what he takes he never has, but what he gives he always has.

The long ages will pass, however, and every man will serve every other man whom he knows as his very Self. Blood relationship is mighty in its desire to serve sons and daughters, or brothers and sisters, and fathers and mothers in one separate family. No matter what wrong a son may do to the whole world, the love of parents is greater than the fault.

The happy, peaceful and progressive home is one where each member of the family thinks first of each other member, serves first each other before himself, and freely gives without motive of selfgain. In the ideal family everyone will not only serve each other to make him happy but will refrain from doing anything to make any member of it unhappy. That is the ideal. That is what every home needs to make complete happiness for every member of it.

The world is one family of one worldhome. The ideal world is one in which every member of it serves each other lovingly to give him happiness, and refrains from doing anything which will take his happiness away from him. That is the ultimate goal. That is what mankind is striving for. That is what he has been striving for over the long aeons. For these long ages he has ever been searching for the road which will lead to that goal of romance and peace.

The road to peace is not war. War is the road to destruction and post-traumatic suffering for our sons and daughters who fight for . . . what? That’s a good question, a question that likely lies at the heart of every soldier who comes back home after killing other selves. I believe deep down inside every man and woman who goes to war to fight their country’s battles returns home with a profound awareness that there are no “others.” There are only other countries’ sons and daughters who are just like themselves. There is no “other.” There is only one Self.  Russell says it well here and expands the thought to include place:

We think that thoughts, sounds, and other happenings of which we become cognizant take place in other objects and in other places outside ourselves. This objectivity of belief is not true to Nature. Everything which happens anywhere, happens everywhere.

There are not two points, two positions, or two objects in the entire universe. Therefore, whatever you think of as happening outside yourself is actually echoing within yourself.

There is no other place in the universe than that place which you universally occupy. Likewise, there is no knowledge or thought in the universe that is not omnipresent in the Light of you. The reflection of a light in the mirror is actually within the mirror. All Creation is a mirror which reflects itself within itself universally.

He then answers this profound question, which I will close with and let you ponder:

What is meant by being One with God?

The more you are aware that the Light of God centers you, the more you become aware that that Light is your very Self, and that your body is but an extension of your Self which you have created to manifest your Self. The more that awareness grows, the more you become the cosmic Being and the more you know. When you finally become fully aware of that Supreme Being as your very Self, you ARE that Supreme Being.

Human relations are healthy when based on love, which gives birth to oneness. We are each one centered by the same Light of Love. Therefore, we are already One at a core level, the level of our Being. At the Human level, we are different but not separate.  Like the rainbow of many colors that are inseparable from the one white light they differentiate, as Human Beings we are diversified in our expression of the One Light of Love. Why, then, does it seem so hard for us as a Global Family–or even as couples and nuclear families–to find our oneness in Being? Perhaps it is because we are distracted by our Human differences.  ‘Till my next post,

Be Love. Be loved.

“The Hero’s Journey,” part 2 — The Quest

My Chorale PicThe “Quest” is ultimately for the “Elixir of Immortality,” says Joseph Campbell in The Hero with a Thousand Faces. Every quest is based upon our individual and collective subconscious memories of a heavenly state where life is peaceful, harmonious and, the best part, immortal. No one dies in heaven. No one even gets sick or suffers in heaven. No one is poor or hungry or has to pay rent in heaven. No one is lonely or depressed or even sad. Sounds like the kind of place anyone would want to live. Well, we all did at one time.

Heaven is from whence we came and to which we long to return — and shall. Yes, even though we fight, strive and pay big bucks to the medical establishments and health food stores to stave off the inevitable end of our quest, we long for heaven.  We just don’t wanna die to get there. Hmm. Maybe we don’t have to.

Heaven is said to be right here now. We just need to turn around  and see it, as The Teacher instructed.  He was in heaven standing on the ground when he said “I go to prepare a place for you, so that where I am ye may be also.”  He didn’t say where I will be after I ascend, but “where I am” now. He was enjoying a state of consciousness that allowed him to be in heaven on earth right in the midst of a very troubled world.

As the “Hero” of “The Greatest Story Ever Told,” Jesus completed his quest for the Elixir of Immortality.  He set out to restore conscious divine Presence in human flesh on earth, met and defeated the nemesis of the satanic human ego that had been hiding the Elixir of Immortality behind “the letter of the law” that kills any spiritual life in believers, then took the sting out of death itself by entering the kingdom of heaven without dying. He had completed the work he had come on earth to do well before his victorious ordeal with death. “Father . . . I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” (17 John). He didn’t come here to “die for our sins,” as St. Paul’s Christianity teaches. He came here to show us how to live and therein glorify God. Then he said, in effect, “Now, you do it.  You be the hero of your life story. Turn around and enter the kingdom of heaven that’s within you exactly where you are here and now.”

Actually, heaven is everywhere there’s consciousness – and that’s everywhere.  Our experience of heaven depends upon our own conscious awareness of being in heaven and living out of that awareness. There is no place where heaven isn’t. Even “hell” is in heaven.  That’s what makes it a hell: living in heaven on earth but not being aware of it and bumping into its laws and principles that would otherwise bring about a heavenly experience—like being forgiving, loving and kind instead of resenting, feeling sorry for ourselves, getting even and being rude toward one another; like giving instead of getting, and giving each other space to be ourselves instead of judging and killing one another with words, guns and bombs. We can let heaven be our experience now simply by loving ourselves and one another as ourselves.

But, enough with the preaching. It’s really passion. I hunger and thirst for these things to become reality on Earth. And that’s what it will take on all our parts for the world to be transformed into the kingdom of heaven on Earth — the “Golden Age” that is waiting to be born through us — a deep hungering and thirsting on the part of humanity — as we were taught by The Teacher in his sermon on the mount: “Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be satisfied.” Heaven here and now is a quest worth hungering and thirsting after.

Let’s look at some of the historical records that David Wilcock painstakingly researched and collected together in his captivating book THE SYNCHRONICITY KEY. I’m just finishing my second time through this fascinating and remarkable literary achievement. Let’s start with the Book of Daniel from the Old Testament of the Bible. Wilcock suggests that the book itself tells the story of “The Hero’s Journey.”

DANIEL FORETELLS THE COMING OF A GOLDEN AGE

Daniel was the prophet who not only interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, but told him the dream itself, which the king had been so distressed over that he couldn’t even recall it. In this dream the king had beheld a great statue — “its brilliance extraordinary . . . its appearance was frightening.” The statue had a very telling composition, made as it was of various elements that bore significant signs of the times, both then and now as well as future. Its head was made of gold, its chest and arms of silver, its mid section and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, and its feet of a mixture of iron and potters clay. Then a stone, not made by human hands, struck the statue on its feet made of iron and clay and broke them into pieces, bringing the entire statue down to the ground where it shattered into such fine pieces that the wind carried the dust away like chaff so that not a trace of it could be found. But the stone that struck the feet of the statue “became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.” You can read the story yourself in chapter five of his book. A very profound story whose time of fulfillment may well have come.  For this part, I will borrow from Wilcock’s own insightful words, also giving you a sampling of his amazingly clear thought processes, much like Edgar Cayce, of whom David Wilcock is quite possibly a reincarnation.  I love where he goes with this story, one of my most favorite Biblical stories.

We clearly see an enormous statue of a man–the hero character in our story–built in layers of gold, silver, bronze and iron. Each of these layers ends up being smashed, one by one. Notice that the resulting rubble was said to look like the “chaff of the summer threshing floors.” Chaff is the unusable material that falls out of a mill that is used for grinding–or threshing–grain. The grain mill is one of the most common symbolic codes embedded in dozens of different myths, worldwide, to symbolize the 25,920-year precession of the equinoxes, according to de Santillana and von Dechend. The central axis of the mill symbolizes the earth’s axis as it drifts through the precession in de Santillana and von Dechend’s epic model. Each section of the statue corresponds to an age. The Golden Age is represented by the head-which is the beginning of each new cycle. In the final age, everything from the previous cycles is smashed by the stone in Nebuchadnezzar’s vision-and comes to a rather abrupt end.

Daniel clearly interprets each of the four main sections of the statue–gold, silver, bronze, and iron–as corresponding to a major cycle or age of human history. This begins with the Golden Age, represented here by the king. However, this vision seems to be far less relevant to Nebuchadnezzar than he may have wanted to believe at the time.

“You, 0 king, the king of kings–to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, the might, and the glory, into whose hand he has given human beings, wherever they live, the wild animals of the field, and the birds of the air, and whom he has established as ruler over them all–you are the head of gold. After you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over the whole earth. And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron. Just as iron crushes and smashes everything, it shall crush and shatter all these.”

We are clearly going through the Iron Age now. Indeed, many traditional cultures have been crushed and shattered by the introduction of machines and technology. Many of these machines are made out of metal, which is signified by the iron. As we continue reading this prophecy, we find out that the people of this age are weakened by how divided they become. Nonetheless, a core of strength remains: “As you saw the feet and toes partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom; but some of the strength of iron shall be in it, as you saw the iron mixed with the clay … the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.”

Feet are the symbol of understanding, both figuratively and literally. We stand on our feet. Human understanding of the laws and principles that govern the universe has been limited, to say the least, and is undergoing a download and upgrade.  Some of us are open to the download and some of us are closed to anything that disturbs the status quo. So there is currently a mixture of new and old in human understanding and the two do not bond together, just like clay and iron do not bond.

The degree to which this Iron Age is a prophecy of our modern world becomes clearer when we skip ahead to 7:23: “There shall be a fourth kingdom on earth that shall be different from all the other kingdoms; it shall devour the whole earth, and trample it down, and break it to pieces.”

Once this Iron Age comes to a close, we again return to the Golden Age. This description is given in symbolic, dreamlike terms: And in the days of those [Iron Age] kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall this kingdom be left to another people. It shall crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever.

Moving ahead to 12:1, we again get a clear prophecy of the difficult times were in now, but also a revealing glimpse of what the Golden Age might be like once it finally arrives: There shall be a time of anguish,
such as has never occurred since nations first came into existence. But at that time
your people shall be delivered; everyone who is found writtenin the book.”

Some may believe those in the bookwill only be the Chosen,” whomever they think those people may be. Lets consider that the bookmight actually be the story of the Heros Journey itself . If this is the symbol that is being used, then how do we write ourselves into the book? How do we join the great story? It could be that everyone who takes up their own quest for the ancient Elixir of Immortality finds themselves in
the book
. Everyone who is willing to face the nemesis in the quest for a better, stronger and more loving world has dedicated themselves to the planetary healing process we now must go through. Once we defeat the nemesis on a global level, we access the treasure it has been guarding–and can now enter the Golden Age. Daniel’s description of the Golden Age is very interesting: “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake; some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the skyand those who lead many to righteousness, like the starsforever and ever.”

This appears to be an undeniable reference to the same fourthdensity shiftthat is described in the Law of One series. The next stage of human evolution, when we free ourselves from the cycles of birth and death through reincarnation, does seem to involve a movement into a light body”–much like Jehoshua [Jesus] appeared after the resurrection. In chapter 21 we will discover there are more than I60,000 documented cases of Rainbow Body occurring in Tibet and China alone. This same passage also refers to “those who sleep in the dust of the earthand then awaken. This is clearly metaphorical, not literal. It is very likely a reference to people who have remained unaware of the spiritual principles that govern the universe, rather than to dead bodies rising out of the ground, as many Christian fundamentalists believe. (Wilcock)

I will leave it there for now. I will continue in my next post, which will reveal the encoded timeline for the Golden Age’s appearance and address the nature of the nemesis. Until then,

The Shaman’s Gift of Healing, Page 3

Tony picConcluding the story of the Biblical “Fall” of Man from grace and stature as Hugh Malafry retells it through two of the main characters in the first book of his fascinating Blue Shaman Trilolgy, we left off in the middle of a dialogue between shaman Morgon Kara and Maia, his consort in the “Otherworld,” as Morgan Kara contemplates the power of the stone of sovereignty, which he lifted from around the neck of the blue shaman Caron as he slept by his fire after Morgon had rescued him from certain death. Maia is telling Morgon Kara the legendary story as handed down through the “Sisters” of the Blood Royal. Here’s the final installment of this excerpt from Stone of Sovereignty

And so it was that over time, brooding on her words, Morgan Kara began to realize what man had done, and that when he was prepared to ask with understanding, she was ready to speak of it. And so when again they met by her well beneath the tree, he was encouraged to ask: “So, given this gift, what did man create contrary to the will of the Makers?” This time Maia seemed almost relieved to tell him.

“I know only what the Sisters know of this, but we know that in the First Time there were those, beguiled by the pleasure they took in the life of things, who thought it would be good to come closer to the things of the earth, and these contrived to make in their own image bodies of animal flesh, imbued with life essence.”

“They made themselves coats of skins,” Morgan Kara said. Maia nodded. “They thought only of it as a kind of dress,” she said. “Believing they would be able to come and go as they pleased and so take pleasure in the world of sense, they contrived and entered into their creation. But the understanding of the art was beyond them, and what they had done was out of harmony with the whole. Beguiled by sense and the subtlety of the weave of life, they lost consciousness, and were unable to release themselves from what they had made.”

He understood at once, because in his transmigrations he had taken the bodies of others to his use. It had never particularly troubled him to do so, for so lonely is man that those Morgan Kara took were almost always relieved to feel his presence. But he was nevertheless gratified to realize all this had come of some miscreation, and his way justified by necessity.

“Like a garment that will not come undone,” he said, “they became trapped in the creature they had made; but what of the Makers?”

“The act was out of harmony with the way of the First Time, and threatened to disrupt greater cycles of creation. And so the Makers would not yield to man’s insistence that it now be as he willed, for man had desecrated the pattern of the seven worlds, and violated the way of the subtle body given to dwell in all the worlds, by incarcerating it in a body of animal flesh.”

“The Makers might have destroyed him,” Morgan Kara said. “Yet material man continues to live.”

Genetic tampering has historically been a tempting, though deadly, preoccupation with humans. We entered into the animal kingdom and lost sight of our original divine identity. We fell from grace and stature and became animals. Now we have ventured into the vegetable kingdom with our genetically modified organisms, and into the mineral kingdom by delegating our intelligence and control of our lives to the silicon computer chip and “smart phones.” Is this our understanding of what dominion is? Where will this endeavor to improve upon life’s design lead? Where will it end? We have created a world on this planet that cannot prevail against the unconquerable world of Mother Nature. (The article at this link, “Learning How to Die in the Anthropocene.” is a sobering one worth the time to read it.)

“It is a law of creation that the creator is responsible for his creation, so long as it shall continue to exist, and this applies as much to the Makers as to man. So through the alchemy of spirit, the Makers fashioned a way for the transmutation of the flesh body, and many there were who walked in that way, ascended and found release. But those who had shaped this path, insisting it was right for all to walk in it, hardened their hearts, adamant that free will allowed the way they had chosen, and the Makers must acknowledge it.

“And so death came into the world?”

“Not at once, but man was caught up in the tides of the seasons, and entering into time there is a time appointed to everything made. When death finally came it came as a gift.

“The Makers had offered a way back,” she said, “but man was determined to go his own way and spurned them. So they hedged themselves from human influence, withdrawing, the Sisters believe, into some realm of the Otherworld unknown to these kingdoms, and the Makers left man to the cycle he had initiated until it should run its course. Having taken the shaping of creation into his own hands man must face the consequences of what he has done, until he is willing to return to the pattern of the First Time.”

“Was it then he lost knowledge of the place of shaping and the world of the First Time?” Morgon Kara asked.

“Yes, but not all at once, for the Makers hoped those now in rebellion might yet relent. Instead, there was contention how to forge ahead in man’s own way; and these differing opinions fell into grievance with one another. Before long and over increasingly trivial matters men began to fight with those whose opinions differed from their own, not realizing there was no answer in the way they had chosen. There came an age of wrath in which they used those powers of the shaping remaining to them to draw fire from the center of the earth, and contrive grotesque forms to loose destruction upon their enemies. In those days there were dragons in the air, great beasts in the wilderness, and creatures within the seas that wrecked havoc on man and all that he had made.

“It is written in the stones of the Ancients,” Morgon Kara said.

“I can tell you only what the Sisters know of this,” Maia said. “We know that in the abuse of those forces remaining to him man became the enemy of life. In the cataclysms that followed vast lands sank beneath the waters, the mountains were raised and the waters under the earth rose up and swept over the burned and scarred lands where man had loosed fire from the center of the earth. Some regions were buried under mountains of ice; others became high plateaus and shifting desert sands. “

” And the earth was moved out of its place,” Morgon Kara said. “I have seen this.”

“The Sisters know those surviving sought refuge in the high mountains and in the vast wilderness places, searching for a memory of what once was, now an elusive dream of paradise. Most tried to forget what had been but feared the cycle of destruction would come round again. In the burning time man would have utterly destroyed the earth, had not the Makers once more intervened and set narrow bounds to his power: The place of shaping was veiled from him and material man was incarcerated in the outer realm of things.

Mass amnesia has wiped out all memory of man’s history before the Fall. The only record we have of how man was in the Garden of Eden is found in Genesis: “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” (Gen. 2:25)  Man did not emerge from caves as apes. Man fell into them and all records and memories of what went before were destroyed and erased in cataclysmic upheavals. And we are on a path of repeating our past unless we remember it. I think this is what Malafry is helping us do: remember what we did to bring the human race down to the level of the beast by offering a glimpse through the veil of forgetfulness.

“And yet I have crossed over,” Morgon Kara said.

“There is a rent in the veil between the worlds, for the Makers were not finished with man.”

“Is there a way back to what once was?” It was then she had first spoken to him of the blue stone.

“There is a stone, in the old tongue called, Uru An-Na, light of heaven,” she told him. “It is in the world and the world is in it; its virtue is to bind, loose and shape the world within, and so shape what is in the world without.”

“Riddles, Maia, always riddles,” he had said. But even as she spoke of it he knew he had within him some knowledge from another time.

“The truth of the worlds was written in Uru AnNa,Maia said, “and entrusted by the Makers to the Na-Akhu-El sages, who continued to dwell among men. After the mountain rising these alone of the Shining Ones remained incarnate in the earth, wholly conscious of what man was, with the wisdom to return the world to the patterns of the First Time.”

“And what is become of them?” Morgon Kara asked.

“The last of these have walked into the light and are no more.”

Maia teared. She always ended the telling of her story of man with a lament for the passing of the Na-Akhu-El sages.

“And if they are no more how shall we return to the First Time?” Morgon Kara asked.

“The regeneration of the world is written in stone,” she said, “and by Uru An-Na true change comes into the world. But there must be those to loose its virtue, and it will not be forced nor will it suffer imposition.”

Even for Morgon Kara this was too much. It troubled him that by some power beyond his understanding the stone existed in its own right, shaped its own destiny, and was both catalyst and seed of worlds yet to be. But she was right, something there was in the world that from time to time opened the heart of man, and the veil between the worlds thinned. Then was there change in heart and mind and new worlds were conceived, until old sorrows came round again, the angry ones appeared, and man must choose or suffer consequences, and truth vanish again in the wilderness of the world for another cycle in another time.

“It is not given me to possess the stone,” Morgon Kara said.

“There is none with your skill or understanding, so you must possess whom it has chosen, and by him loose the power of Uru An-Na.

He had taken her at her word and watched for the power of the stone working through those who had possessed it. It had come tantalizingly close to him, but he had found nothing in those who possessed it to suggest they could loose what was within.

He believed in time the stone would come of its own to him, and with its power he would renew the world. He would open wide the doors between the worlds. Like the sages of old he would loose fire from the center of the earth to the shape of his pure will, and empower his creations. Like the gods he would churn the world ocean for the elixir of immortality. And when it was done the world that was, the world of the heart’s desire before cataclysm swept it away, would by his hand be restored. It would be his gift: He would live ten thousand years and in a thousand forms, if need be, until it was done.

With each telling Morgon Kara learned something new, and always when she was done he confirmed, “It is for you, beloved, I seek understanding.” It was what she wanted to hear.

And so the plot thickens as Morgon Kara sets out to bring Caron under his spell and to own him and through him the stone of sovereignty. Material man seeks to own and control spiritual Man, when in truth spiritual Man created and looks after material man, as it was in the days of Cain and Abel, and we know what the record says happened with those two brothers of Adam and Eve. Well, Abel has returned from the dead. Spiritual Man has emerged and his presence in the Earth is a powerful one. The old heaven and old earth are in the process of passing away and the Makers and Shapers are incarnate once again to created the New Earth. We are the Makers and Shapers of our world.

The stone of sovereignty in the body temple is the pineal gland, a little white crystal that refocuses the Light of Love and brings heaven into the earth, uniting these two worlds as one in human consciousness and experience. Heaven and Earth are one. The Shaman in each one of us knows how the connect them in momentary every-day living.

And that’s where I’ll leave you hanging and, no doubt, ordering a copy of Malafry’s trilogy. I hope you enjoyed this excerpt as much as I did. Does it leave you with haunting ancient memories?

Thank you for reading my post. I’m looking forward to what’s next!  Until then,

The Shaman’s Gift of Healing, Page 2

Tony picContinuing the story of the historical “Fall” of Man from grace and stature as Hugh Malafry retells it through two of the main characters in the first book of his fascinating Blue Shaman Trilolgy, we left off in the middle of a dialogue between shaman Morgon Kara and Maia, his consort in the “Otherworld,” as Morgan Kara contemplates the power of the stone of sovereignty, which he lifted from around the neck of the blue shaman Caron as he slept by his fire after Morgon had rescued him from certain death. Maia is telling Morgon Kara the legendary story as handed down through the “Sisters” of the Blood Royal. Here’s the second of three installments of this excerpt from Stone of Sovereignty.

Many generations had come and gone since the shaman first crossed over into the place of shaping, and learned of the pattern the Makers established to inform the things of the earth. He learned, too, of the burning time [of the Papal Inquisition when the Roman Catholic Church burned to death thousands of men, women and children and the Cathars of Languedoc as heretics) and of the great transgression, when to preserve life man was confined to the outer realms, and the Makers set a veil between the worlds through which few might pass. Other shamans had come into the place of shaping before him: Some to heal the wounds of the exploited, some to exploit the hurts of the wounded. Morgan Kara saw his art as a gift of white magic. He came seeking power to heal the human soul; he understood the ills of this world are rooted in its misalignment with the patterns of the other, so there is shadow where there should be light. . . .

On another journey Morgon Kara again came upon Maia weeping on a last hill of green, at the edge of a desert that stretched to the horizon. It is always wise to begin with stillness, so he sat and watched with her in silence. Through her eyes he saw how here and there the desert advanced, and here and there relented, but overall the wasteland grew, and unchecked would overwhelm the world.

“What have you shown me?”

“The end,” she said.

“Of the world?”

“Fear engenders greed, and greed lays wastes the earth: I fear the pattern of the Makers for the keeping of the earth is broken.”

“How can that be?”

“Everyone seeks his own and none takes responsibility: The burden is too great, and these worlds will perish.”

“Can the pattern of the Makers be restored?”

“Think you shaman to heal this?” she asked bitterly. “There is not water enough to bring life back to this wasteland.”

He was overwhelmed by her mood of desolation. Seven days he sat with her, considering what might be done, and all that time his body lay in a trance, so that those who watched over him began to think him lost in his journey, as sometimes happens to a shaman who goes out too far.

“Is it not for the Makers to set this right?” he asked. “Will they now give all over to death? Shall Erlik Khan in his castle of black clay alone rule this realm, and earth become a barren stone?”

“What do you know of the Makers,” she said.

“Only that they have made these realms.”

“And withdrawing have left us desolate,” she said. “The Sisters have sought an answer to the Makers. We know it is in their power to restore the world they made. Nothing is withheld them, but what they choose themselves to deny. We know they exist and have sought them, but they will not reveal themselves to us nor intercede on our behalf, but make us bear the burden of the law of creation.”

“The law?”

“Of reaping what we sow,” she said.

“Who are the Makers?”

“Those in whom the essence of the world is inborn.”

Maia casts blame upon the Makers as though they were withholding pity and forgiveness from errant man and refusing to undo the hurt he had brought upon himself and the earth.

He pressed her, but it was all she would say. She knew nothing more, or did not care to speak of it. They sat silently together until Morgon Kara knew his time was short, and he must find his way back or perish in the flesh.

As he rose to depart Maia clasped his hand, her face bright with passion. “In us let the worlds be one.” She joined with him as a goddess takes a mortal lover. She did not ask, but he did not object: Who can resist a goddess? From that moment, of brittle bone and fragile flesh she enlarged the soul of her shaman with such influence as she had, to foster the healing of the heart. With her he felt complete; alone, Morgon Kara was never alone.

Maia longed to renew the world, and would do so by shaping her shaman to that purpose. And so it was there came a time when she revealed to him what had become of man. “There was a time, in the First Time, when the human body was not as it now is,” she confided. Maia sat with Morgon Kara at the well beneath the tree where she first met him. He remembered how she had then paused to feel the sun on her face, tied up her dark hair, and set it with a silver pin, while he watched and waited her revelation. “In the First Time the body was less dense,” she said, “and of a subtle substance infused with light. In his first form man was conscious of all the worlds and not the earth alone, where now he survives only as material man in exile from what he once was.”

“What became of him?” He was fascinated with her beauty and the tale she told, and could not takes his eyes from her.

“I know only what the Sisters know of this,” she said, ritually, “and what befell man is a matter for the Makers, but we do know that in the First Time he was given the power of the shaping, though
within limits, for he had not yet come into the fullness of his gifts.

“He transgressed?”

Maia nodded pensively. “Had he not no evil would have befallen him.”

“What was his transgression?”

Maia took the green leaf that had fallen on her lap, and with her finger tips carefully traced the stem and veins, following her thoughts to an answer. “I know only what the Sisters know of this,” she said. “We know there came a time when man was told to refrain from the making, until a cycle bearing on the seven worlds was fulfilled. He was warned that the shaping of new patterns was untimely, and would gravely alter the weave of life.”

“He didn’t listen,” Morgan Kara said.

She shook her head. “Sadly, he never does.” Her dark hair came loose and she fumbled with it a moment, then let it fall; she turned to him hands folded on her lap. “There were those who thought they knew better, and could improve upon the design of the Makers. They believed the time was right to do what they intended and acted willfully, out of harmony with what was unfolding in the whole. All that has become of the earth is because of this, and has yet to run its course.”

Morgan Kara asked specifically what they had done, but she feared what she had revealed to him, and on that occasion would speak only of the transgression itself.

Another time, she spoke to him of how the world was in the First Time, before the realms were sundered. She told him how man in subtle form had the gift to enter into the life of all living things over which he was guardian in the earth, so that he could take pleasure in their lives, and they in his presence.

“Do you mean enter into bird flight, or a dolphin in the sea?” Morgan Kara asked.

“Even into the constancy of stone, the flowering of a rose, or the great green life of trees,” she said. “And this gift was given so he might understand from within, the beauty that is woven into the essence of all living. By this means he was shown how the patterns of things fit together, to learn to shape new forms and imbue them with life; for the creation is in man even as man is in the creation, and he was made to keep the way of life from within all living.”

“Now everything flees from him,” Morgan Kara said.

” And with good reason,” she replied.  (To be continued)

These words gave me pause as I read them.

“Fear engenders greed, and greed lays wastes the earth: I fear the pattern of the Makers for the keeping of the earth is broken. . . .  Everyone seeks his own and none takes responsibility: The burden is too great, and these worlds will perish.”

Have we broken the earth beyond its ability to sustain living beings? Have we gone past the point of no return? What will become of the human race? Is it in the Makers’ pattern that the human species be allowed to go extinct to make way for a new beginning? If that is our future, then so let it be.  What we have started has to run its course. As Maia says in the next installment,

“It is a law of creation that the creator is responsible for his creation, so long as it shall continue to exist, and this applies as much to the Makers as to man.”

We may well end up exiting with the demise of our battered and poisoned habitat unless we make a radical shift in the way we live on planet Earth. As was stated by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in an interview with Matt Lauer this Sunday morning — and I paraphrase:  “We’ve become a ‘Me Now’ people with no concern for our children’s future.” We want what we want NOW, no matter the consequences to future generations, our own progeny. What will become of us is being decided NOW by us. As we sow, so shall we reap. It’s all in God’s hand, isn’t it?

“Can you make whole what has been broken?”  [Lady Esclarmonde asks the blue shaman. His reply is wise.]  ”God has made a whole and it cannot be otherwise,” he said. “I will give it to God: He will determine in this matter what is to be.”

Until my next post,

The Shaman’s Gift of Healing, Page 1

09 May bowls

I apologize to my blog followers and readers for being so long in posting a new article. We’ve been on a trip to the Pacific Northwest Coast to spend time with our boys and grandchildren in Oregon and California. It’s good to be back and writing again.

I’ve been called a shaman because I use frequency-shifting sound healing and subtle energy attunement techniques in my work as a healer. But I know from my own profound experience over fifty years of service to humanity that there’s something deeper and more to the purpose of healing than the modality of technique in the healing work of a true shaman. A true shaman offers healing of the rift between two worlds. The invisible world of Reality, wherein lies the divine design for perfect health and happiness, and the visible world of ailing flesh, suffering only from a separation from its Creator. That separation, however, is but an illusion — an illusion, nevertheless, that shapes the flesh and the world in which it suffers. In the real world, there is no separation. This paradoxical condition is what sets up the illusion out of which we turn heaven into a hell here on earth. It is the shaman’s role to transcend the illusory world and stand in divine identity in the invisible realm of spirit to facilitate the shaping of patterns of light to the unique healing needs of his client. I was confirmed in this awareness as I read Hugh Malafry’s novels.

THE BLUE SHAMAN

I’ve just finished my second reading of the first book of Hugh Malafry’s trilogy Blue Shaman, The Stone of Sovereignty, and started my second reading of book two, Caverns of Ornolac. As in all second readings of a thrilling and complex novel, I saw so much more than what I did in my first reading.

What draws me back to this author’s trilogy is the otherworldly setting for a very complex story. To sojourn in another world, the world of the shaman, is such a refreshing reprieve from the world of CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News; even BBC and PBS. That world has little to offer of hope for the future of mankind. The Real world is the invisible one, coverage of which is virtually impossible by any news agency. Malafry does exactly that, interweaving morsels of profound wisdom and simple truths as he unfurls a dialogue between characters. Here are a few of those jewels of wisdom:

“Sometimes a life’s work takes more than a life’s time.”

“Time yields to purpose.”

“To weave light in patterns, tie water in knots, and shape the ten thousand things.” [A worthy, though rightly ambitious, sense of mission and purpose.]

“Give me your heart,” Maia said [to Caron, the blue shaman], “and I will shape a world for you. . . .  It is no more than any woman asks of a man to whom she gives herself.”

Was it any wonder men shy from giving their heart to women: One moment she was lamb, another lion, and one never knew when one or the other might rise in her or to what end.

. . . when you have lost your centering in life, everywhere is nowhere, and the world is desolate.

“Is it not the way of the warrior to be at peace within, even when he knows he must fight?”

“Can you make whole what has been broken?”  [Lady Esclarmonde asks the blue shaman. His reply is wise.]  “God has made a whole and it cannot be otherwise,” he said. “I will give it to God: He will determine in this matter what is to be.”

“You must let go your shadow. To cross over [into the “In-world”] you must see yourself on the other side.”

“Always walk into the light.” [Even though — and particularly when — you know you will lose your life and all that you have invested in making yourself into who and what you think you are . . . and your life will never be the same.]

Life on this side of the veil that separates us from the “In-world” is portrayed in the story of the blue shaman as the illusion it is. What separates also connects. There is something most wonderful on the other side of the veil. The loss of illusion, for one thing, though probably scary for mortals who find meaning and purpose in making one’s way through the shadows of the mind-made world of survival. That mortal, the human ego, feels justifiably threatened by the Light at the end of the tunnel described by those who tell of their near-death encounters, because it knows that it’s curtains for it. I wonder if I will feel that same hesitancy the blue shaman had to walk into the light when I make my transition from this world to the world of Light. Not so much, I should think, for someone who has walked into the Light of Reality in the face of sure loss of his world as he knows it in order to discover and realize who he is as a divine being. The story takes you to such a place in consciousness.

THE INSEPARABLE MALE AND FEMALE

For me, the entire trilogy is a story about the relationship between the masculine and feminine as they partner in shaping their worlds. It seems the Orion shaman is always being challenged to master the sweet influences of his Pleiadian counterpart — who seems, interestingly enough, always to live in the Otherworld, which dynamic of the story tends to suggest that our “soul mates” do not incarnate with us. Hmm. Another interesting portrayal of the male-female relationship is that it’s always feminine entities who meet and greet the shaman at the threshold between the worlds to clear him for worthiness of passage and to guide him in his journey. It is through the heart, love’s domain and our feminine part, that we enter the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” — Jesus

There’s truth to this in the way a woman tests her man before allowing him into her heart and inner sanctum as a worthy partner in creating her world in what is obviously a man’s world. Malafry portrays this “battle of the sexes,” but not without resolution.  I love his resolution toward the end of the book. Much like the riddle of getting the goose out of the bottle without killing the goose or breaking the bottle, at some level — like before the riddle maker created the illusion of a goose in a bottle — the goose is not in the bottle. Likewise, at some level there is no “battle of the sexes” but only the thrilling heavenly experience of a shared creativity. Again I say “Hmm.”

TO RESTORE PARADISE — THE GRAIL QUEST

The most captivating chapter for me was “The Shaman,” because I could relate to the challenges of the shaman.  There’s a dialogue in it that alludes to a time when time and death were not and yet humans thought to change and improve upon their lives in Paradise. Whether or not one subscribes to this version of human history, Malafry weaves a believable and likely scenario of mankind’s fall from grace and stature. The path of the shaman is driven by an insatiable desire to make things right again and restore the world of mankind to the paradise of “The First Time.” Restoring the elusive Holy Grail of the blue “Stone of Sovereignty” into the hands of the Knights Templar for its ultimate return to the “Sisters of the Blood Royal” and the Grail King, is the blue shaman’s mission and purpose — very similar to that of Frodo in Lord of the Rings, as is the promise: the restoration of life and prosperity to Paradise.

As Malafry tells it, the story of the fall from grace is a haunting one for me, as if at some level in my consciousness I know I was there in the Beginning and when things literally went to hell.  I’ll let you read it as he tells it.

As in the Lord of the Rings where the ring is coveted for its power, shaman Morgon Kara takes the blue stone in his hands as the blue shaman Caron slept before his fire after he had rescued him from certain death.  The following dialogue is between Morgon Kara and Maia, his guide and empowering partner in shaping worlds to their own end. (I’ll have to share this excerpt on multiple pages.)

Perplexed, Morgon Kara opened his hand and held the jewel to the fire. It glowed with an inner fire that drew him deep into its triangular planes of light. Most precious stones were empty vessels, nothing more than the trace of their own experience as they passed age-to-age, hand to hand. But he knew the ancients had altered some to make record, others as focalizations of force, and a very few for use in the shaping of essence. This stone was all that and more, but never before had anything so eluded him. He sought the pattern of things that shimmered within, but could resolve nothing in the tantalizing play of light and shadow that beckoned but would not reveal. Even so, the stone was bound to Caron and would not let him die.

“Erlik Khan in his castle of black clay has reached out for you, but he is denied. Can a man defy death?” He knew something of the stone, for Maia had spoken of it, and he had long hoped it would come to his hand. He might have taken it from Hassan, but Maia said it destroyed those to whom it was not given; and though he doubted her in this, she had spoken of it with such awe, he feared to cross her was to lose her.

“There is a stone, in the old tongue called, Uru An-Na, light of heaven,” she had said. “It is in the world, and the world is in it.  This stone has the virtue to bind, loose and shape the world within, and so shape what is in the world without.”

“You are speaking in riddles, Maia,” he had said.

“It is exactly as I have said. In Uru An-Na the Ancients shaped the Holy Norm for this world. It exists so that no matter what is done by man, the patterns of Uru AnNa will prevail, and they have done this so that the earth shall not fail. Uru AnNa is the seal of the Makers, and a bar to the final trespass of the human will.”

“We must have this stone.”

“And it is well we should,” Maia agreed, “for the Sisters must yield to him who masters its influences. But the stone will not be taken by force.”

Morgon Kara closed his hand about the stone, remembering what Maia had told him. “Riddles, Maia, always riddles,” he always complained, but he had heard every word, and could repeat them still verbatim, even if he did not always at once understand her meaning. This was surely that stone. Hassan had taken it from a victim, who doubtless took it from another, but now it had been given to the one who had come across the wilderness in search of the lost Hallow of the Blood Royal.

Morgon Kara returned the jewel to the pouch at Caron’s neck . . . .

“Tell me again of the stone of the Makers.”

“I have told you the truth of Uru An-Na,” she said.

“Tell me again, how by its use the Ancients shaped living forms animated by fire from the center of the earth.”

“If it is as you have said what need of me?” It was her ritual to object. She would be courted. It was his ritual to reply. “It is for you, beloved, I seek understanding.”
