Grounding Cosmic Energy

 Our Milky Way Galaxy

To remain in altered states for long periods of time without grounding oneself in the lower Earth vibrations does create real field problems, and disturbances in the alkaline-acid balance in the blood. (Valerie Hunt)

Subtle energy, when rarefied, tends to ascend taking spiritualized substance with it.  Ascension of rarefied spiritual substance ideally occurs during an attunement session, but not always.  When it does, it creates a bridge between heaven and earth across which healing currents of divine love descend upon mortal flesh. This can be a bit ungrounding, both for practitioner and client, but especially for the client. Grounding, then, is helpful, even essential, in bringing a person back down to earth.

I know that working with sound as a carrier wave for these healing currents, especially the higher tones of the small metal bowls and tuning forks, can be very ungrounding for my client.  I use a very low frequency (64 hertz) “C” body-tuner (tuning fork) on top of the feet in closing a session, holding the bottom of the foot with my other hand, to remind my clients that they have feet, a gentle way to end a session with a touch of light humor to ease their re-entry into the mundane world.   Besides feeling wonderful, the lower frequency of the body-tuner is felt throughout the bones of the skeleton when transmitted by the body-tuner into the bones of the feet. Bones, especially those in our feet, are very much grounded in the minerals of the earth.  Another very endearingly grounding technique is to take the client’s feet into my hands and gently squeeze them, starting with the ankles and moving toward the toes.  A drink of cold water and a walk around the room barefooted–or, better yet, on a lawn if available–also helps bring one down to earth.

[Here’s some beautiful flute music by my friend, and muse, Norm Smookler, his latest release on You Tube: Sound Attunement ]

Speaking of minerals and the earth, this would be a good time to consider the role of the mineral kingdom in bringing cosmic energy and forces into the earth and thereby into the vegetable and animal kingdoms.  It seems that the rocks ground and radiate cosmic forces.  Likewise, the minerals in our bodies ground and conduct cosmic forces through them. Without a sufficient quantity and balance of these minerals, we would not be able to handle the power of these cosmic forces.

In her mind-engaging book,  Infinite Mind – Science of the Human Vibrations of Consciousness,  Dr. Valerie Hunt addresses with some depth of understanding the phenomenon of the alkaline-acid balance of the blood being disturbed during long visits to higher planes in “altered states” of consciousness.  The pH (potential of Hydrogen) of the blood ideally stays a little on the acid side, which allows it to absorb minerals.  The body spares no cost in keeping the blood pH balanced, the only condition that allows for the absorption of vitamins and minerals.

Now, acid-alkaline balance allows for the flow of energy through connected fields of positively and negatively charged molecles.  Acids have a positive charge and bring a stimulating influence to the cells along with a coherent energy of attraction. Alkaline minerals have a negative charge, bringing a calming influence to the cells, as well as a grounding for positively charged atoms and a responsive field that is drawn toward the positive field of the acids. This is how a balance in blood chemistry is maintained, as well as in the flow of energy through the body.

This balance can be upset by dietary and lifestyle improprieties, such as toxins in foods, beverages, polluted air, and tobacco and other consciousness altering drugs.  It is also disturbed when alkaline reserves are depleted in the body, either from a high acid-ash diet of meats and grains which draws heavily on these reserves, or simply from not eating enough mineral-rich foods — or both.  Minerals are so lacking in the modern American diet that supplementation is wise.

I recommend Min-Tran ($20/330 tabs.), a combination of Organically Bound Minerals ($13/90 tabs.) and Calcium Lactate, ($20/330 tabs.) and Trace Minerals B12 ($15/90 tabs.) by Standard Process Labs. Drop me an order by email (tpal70@gmail.com) and I’ll have it to you in a few days.

This imbalance in blood chemistry can easily be rectified and prevented by taking in a balanced amount of electrolytes (acids and alkalizing minerals).  Acids will be found in fruits like oranges and alkalizing minerals in organic vegetables grown in mineral rich soil.  Lemons and limes are balanced, so lemon aide and lime aide with a little sea salt and cane sugar or honey make great electrolyte replenishing beverages.

A word to the wise subtle energy worker:  If ever you or your client experience faint or a drain of energy, even loose consciousness – “zone out” into an “altered state” – during an attunement, then look to this factor and consider organic mineral supplementation for both you and your client before having another session.  Have some lemon or lime aide on hand.  But most importantly, learn and use grounding techniques to bring your client down to earth where cosmic energies and the spiritual energies can be grounded.  Heaven and earth, after all, are one and are best experienced by human beings that way.

Of course, if you are a well-grounded person and wise energy worker who has learned to approach your clients with a radiant regard toward what they bring in the way of health issues, as opposed to a responsive posture toward the client’s problematic issues and a sympathetic desire to fix the problem and heal the client, then you are not likely to lose your footing in the earth and drift off with your client into altered states.  Our job, as we seasoned practitioners have learned, is to hold a fully conscious point of orientation and provide a solid vibrational anchor for the client while they go through changes in their energetic field and physical body.

I would like to delve more deeply into this subject matter, if you are willing to take a little side trip with me.  I am going to share with you an excerpt from my book, Sacred Anatomy, wherein I describe the individual function of the 12 organic minerals and a few of the 72 trace minerals within the context of a meditation on the sacred anatomy of our body temples.  Apparently, it takes that many varied organic and trace minerals to step down and differentiate the powerful forces moving through the cosmos in our bodies.  The excerpt isn’t long for a book, but it is for a blog.  So, I’ll start it in my next post and see how and where it goes from there. I think you will enjoy the meditation.

The Power of your Sacred Heart

The heart is the soul’s gateway, both into life and beyond into eternity.  The heart is the timeless and indestructible source of all higher knowledge. It is the one point within each person where the inner and outer forces are the same.  Within the heart, the will of God and your own may be brought into harmony”   — Jesus

Continuing my book review and sharing of Glenda Green’s inspiring book, Love Without End —  Jesus Speaks, the author contemplates in her chapter “The Heart is Your Higher Intelligence” the historical celebrations of the heart, such as on Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and other holidays on which we celebrate some aspect of our heart’s devotion.  Then there’s country music which raises verse and song to the broken hearts . . . and the subsequent need for counselors to fix them.  “How little,” she writes, “we know about its fullest and truest meaning.”

She then cites medical evidence and scientific data concerning our physical heart: “…physicians report that the physical organ has never been stronger, which accounts for our larger bodies and greater longevity. Yet, at the same time, heart disease is still on the best seller list of tickets to Heaven!  The physical heart is a life-giving organ, with deep and wonderful resources, most of which have yet to be discovered.”

Our physical hearts exemplify innocent perception and awareness.  Just consider how, for instance, without judgment, complaint, or condemnation it pumps clean and dirty blood through its chambers with equal vigor and blessing. Sort of inspires me to have a more non-judgmental attitude toward what the River of Life brings through me and my world for blessing and passing on to other members in the larger body of Man, the Body of our Creator.

Speaking of the physical heart, Glenda also cites Oriental medicine and philosophy for bringing to our awareness “an important and wonderful energy field which surrounds both our bodies and our physical hearts, and every day more evidence is surfacing that this complex and intricate field of electrical energy is a life enhancing source to the physical heart.”  She cites acupuncture for revealing deeper and more pragmatic evidence of this energetic field in its exploration and therapeutic use of the meridians in and around the body, opening a door to “alternative” or “complementary” medicine’s debut into western science and healthcare.

Moving from the physical heart to the psychological perspective of the heart,  modern psychology has introduced the now popular view that there are “right-brained” and “left-brained” approaches to life, the right-brained people considered “heart people,” who are “more intuitive, emotional, empathic and responsive, while, in contrast, left-brained people are more logical, analytical, competitive and initiatory. This dichotomy,” she suggests, “is often carried to the extreme of referring to ‘heart people’ as feminine and ‘logical people’ as masculine.”  She lends a certain amount of credibility and truth to these observations based solely on the “bicameral nature of the brain.” The real truth, she offers, lies in the “reflection such limited assumptions cast upon  the culture in which we live….  In our culture, the heart has generally been considered  the emotional, empathic, intuitive, and feminine side of our being.  The complete spectrum of the heart’s power has been missed by most people. All of the above considerations about the heart are important and valid, yet each alone is incomplete.  Even taken collectively, they do not equal the Sacred Heart of which Jesus spoke.”

Here is what Glenda recorded Jesus — whom she knows more historically as “Jeshua” and more intimately as “The Beloved” — as saying about the significance and power of the heart:

There is a point within each person where the physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual components of one’s existence are in perfect synchronicity.  At that point, there is no difference in  elements, time, space, or condition.  This is the personal ‘zero point’ which is known prior to birth, immediately after death, and anytime in between when a person’s will has been perfectly reconciled with the will of God.  A person is forever able to connect with his Creator in that sacred place, regardless of how far he has strayed through the process of living.  At the point of true simplicity, you may enter into perfect communion with the Father.  Whenever you do, your life will be renewed or even transformed.

The heart is a magnetic vortex through which the blessings of all essences and potentialities are received, integrated, and focused into living.  Through the laws of electromagnetism, that power is converted into life energy.  The heart, being essentially magnetic, functions best through innocent awareness which attracts and receives.  Acts of judgment, which divide and repel, will shut the door of the heart behind you.  If you would make the heart strong, you must first learn to perceive with innocence, accept, and forgive.  As you empower your heart it will open to you.  At first you may simply notice this change as more passion for living, more peaceful sleep, or better digestion of food.  The heart is the center of your health and quality of living, therefore those things will be addressed first.  As you progress in your affirmations of the heart, however, your life will begin to have more abundant fruits, and you will have the energy needed to make more dramatic changes.  Eventually, what you gain from your heart visitations will surpass your wildest dreams.  There will be levels of energy which are transformational and transmutational.”

“In a world so preoccupied with power,” Glenda writes, “is it not ironic that the heart is so little understood.  For Jesus said, ‘The heart center is the true source of human power.'”

Food for much thought and meditation.  Certainly enough for today. See you in my next post. Until we meet again. . .

be love and be loved.

Entering your Sacred Heart

In my last post I wrote about the Sacred Heart and how it is the magnetic, silent, still center of your being, your “Heart of hearts,” from which we may have a view of infinity.  A place where we are alone with the Father. We will continue to explore our Sacred Heart and how we may enter it.  Glenda Green’s conversation with Jesus in her wonderful book, “Love Without End” continues in this excerpt from Chapter 6,  “The Heart Is Your Higher Intelligence.”

“The Sacred Heart has an exact location in the body which can vary slightly in every person, but it is approximately the same. It is located in the space between the spine and the physical heart, anywhere from an inch above the physical heart to three inches below it. Although the physical heart is slightly to left of center, the true axis is centrally located People who are living very physical lives, such as athletes and manual workers, often have a lower position of the heart vortex due to their need for physical balance. Scholars and musicians might need to look a bit higher. “

” He suggested that I look a little higher because of my receptivity to aesthetic inspirations and frequencies.

“As you enter, you must release your attention into silence, letting it fall until it comes to rest. This is the way of quiet contemplation in which you may behold the oneness of all that is. This is your sacred place, for it is the pivotal link between the body and soul, the physical and the immortal, between yourself and God

“When the heart is healthy and fully alive, it is the most natural place to be. But when it has been forgotten and abandoned, certain difficulties will accumulate around the prospect of re-entry. The most critical issue is that the heart carries an imprint of your true character and the love that you are. That is its only recognition of you. Therefore, when you attempt to enter with false identities, spurious agendas, impure thoughts, or excess baggage of any kind, you may not present a workable entry key. You are most worthy to be in the heart, for indeed it is your home, the center of your being. Nevertheless, as the defender of your immortal soul, its security system is formidable. By the will of God, that which is not you will not be recognized. All illusion, pretense, and judgment must be shed at the portal. Is this not also how you must enter the Kingdom of Heaven … as a little child?

“There are two ways to enter. The easiest way is to quiet your mind through surrender and resolve, allowing your attention to become like a pebble cast into a great, still lake. Then float away into the stillness and vacuity until you come to rest. The other way is more difficult, although each attempt will bring you closer. The process itself is cleansing and transforming. It involves opening and reentering the heart directly, and re-anointing it as the sacred center which it truly is. In this approach, you will locate the doorway through which the heart communes with infinity, the one spirit and the Father.

“To begin, you need to be aware that a circle of energy surrounds your body. It is much like a protective cocoon. Then establish within your mind’s eye a perceptual viewpoint on the back side of that circle, facing your spine. From that viewpoint, facing your back, scan the extent of your spine as if you were looking for the doorway to a cave. In looking for the heart’s doorway, you may at first find the opening very small, but as you enter, it will dilate and you may see infinity laid out before you.

“For some people the door may be sealed so tightly that its presence will only be sensed, and a large stone, figuratively speaking, will have to be rolled naway before the opening becomes evident. Never despair … the opening is there. You will find it if you continue to look and it will open when you knock. Do not be shocked with your first perception. You may sense the cold, dark air of the cosmos. Often there is a chilling effect, for spirit is cooler than the body. Some may see a burning bush at the entrance; others may see the door encircled with flame. Others will see, or sense, a mighty angel with a sword guarding the entrance. You may hesitate to enter because of your perceptions of holiness and want to take off your shoes, symbolically speaking, or rinse off in baptismal water. Those who are not ready for this perception will deny it or run, for the holiness they perceive is their connection to God. By entering the portals of the heart in this way, you will inherit the wisdom which was placed there for you from the beginning. Your unfolding consciousness of the Sacred Heart will begin to revive many dimensions of intelligence that have been lost to you. At the very lease you will experience true relaxation.

In my next post, we will consider the true power of the heart.

“The heart is a magnetic vortex through which the blessings of all essences and potentialities are received, integrated, and focused into living. . . .  As you empower your heart, it will open to you.”

Till we meet here again, be loving . . . Be loved.
