The “Jesus of History” Vs the “Jesus of Faith” part 4:1 – The Kingdom of Heaven

“Jesus said: ‘The seeker should not stop until he finds. When he does find, he will be disturbed. After having been disturbed, he will be astonished. Then he will reign over everything.’ (The Gospel of Thomas)

The Gospel of Thomas, a product of Egyptian Christianity, was one of the collections of codices found at Nag Hammadi in 1945, now popularly called the “Gnostic Gospels.” Gnostic Christianity was considered heretical since the second century. Thomas, however, was not a Gnostic. Harvard Professor Helmut Koester, along with many other scholars, feel strongly that this gospel should be included in the canon of the new Testament. It isn’t for one reason only: it exposes the deception of Christianity which bought into the Egyptian tradition that heaven–the “Far-World”–was a place to visit while we live and eventually go to when you die. Thomas proclaims in his Gospel the revolutionary teaching of Jesus that “The kingdom of heaven is within you and outside of you.” In other words, it is not somewhere up there but right here on earth, and one does not need the Church with its creeds and dogmas to get there.

In his provocative book The Jesus Papers–Exposing the Greatest Cover-Up in History, Michael Baigent presents the Gospel of Thomas as the contrast to Zealot Christianity that it is.

. . . it is clear that its information comes from a hidden tradition that was passed only to a special few; as its opening sentence states, “These are the secret sayings which the living Jesus spoke and which Didymus Judas Thomas wrote down. . . . It gives fresh information about the “kingdom”–or “the Kingdom of the Father.” Jesus’ disciples ask “When will the new world come?” Jesus replies “What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it. . . . The Kingdom of the Father is spread out upon the earth and men do not see it.”

In the Gospel of Mary of Magdala, another text found at Nag Hammadi, Jesus is recorded to have issued “a warning against looking for physical evidence of the kingdom of heaven. . . . The translator, Professor Karen King of the Harvard University Divinity School, has used a nonstandard expression to replace ‘Son of Man’–she uses ‘child of humanity,’ which is probably a better phrase, avoiding, as it does, the sectarian and dogmatic baggage; for similar reasons she replaces ‘kingdom’ with ‘Realm’ . . . .  ‘Be on your guard,’ says Jesus, ‘so that no one deceives you by saying “Look over here!” or “Look over there!” For the child of true Humanity exists within you. Follow it! Those who search for it will find it. Go then, preach the good news about the Realm.'”

Mary Magdalene was not liked by the apostle Peter simply because she was a woman and “unworthy of the life,” as he said of her to the other disciples, some of whom were irritated by her closeness to Jesus, who favored her over the other disciples, kissing her often on the lips. Peter is recorded by Mary Magdalene as saying “Sister, we know that the Savior loved you more than all the other women. Tell us the words of the Savior that you remember, the things which you know that we don’t because we haven’t heard them.” As it turns out, Mary Magdalene had received secrete teachings from Jesus. She replies to Peter “I will teach you about what is hidden from you.” This irritated several of the disciples who began to doubt that Jesus ever said secrete words to her and not to them, that he even spoke to a woman in private without them knowing. “Are we to turn around and listen to her? Did he choose her over us?” Peter demands to know.

The disciple Levi defends Mary: “Assuredly the Savior’s knowledge of her is completely reliable. That is why he loved her more than us.” Baigent goes on to conclude that Jesus “taught secrete doctrines that concerned the passing over to the kingdom of heaven–a metaphor, as I have noted, for the concept described by the ancient Egyptians as the Far-World, or by the Greeks variously as the land of the Blessed or the Netherworld. All depict the divine world. The disciple of Jesus who understood his teaching the best was Mary Magdalene….”

It was Mary Magdalene who anointed Jesus with precious oils days before his royal entrance into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. She alone knew the significance of this ritual anointing, an important aspect of which is that it be performed “by someone who understands what is being done, and by one who can participate in recognizing the messiah–for the anointment is just the final act of a longer process, the details of which have not been recorded in the Gospels.” Baigent concludes this chapter with these words of appraisal of the Catholic Church:

No wonder the power brokers of Rome wanted to exclude knowledge of this sacred path as well as knowledge of these additional gospels. Unfortunately–for them–they could do nothing about the Gospels that later became the New Testament except to control the interpretation of them–to control the “spin.” The conceit, of course, is that some theologians with attitude presume to understand hundreds, perhaps a thousand or two years later, what the writers meant better than they did themselves. Why ever have we believed this for so long?

Although there were always scholars and commentators who saw through the spin, it is only in recent times that the manipulation and error have come so much to the fore in public. But so far, particularly in the ornate halls of the Vatican, nothing has changed. Power prefers spin to truth.

“Kingdom-Consciousness”

Andrew Harvey, series editor of Steven Davies’ 2002 release, The Gospel of Thomas – Annotated & Explained, writes eloquently and passionately about this Gospel.  He describes the character of Jesus and his revolutionary vision for the world with such authenticity that one might think he knew Jesus personally. I will share much of his foreword in two posts simply because it articulates so well the “alternative” I promised to offer at the start of this series–as well as the primary purpose of Jesus’ mission and ministry. He speaks of a “kingdom-consciousness.”

The Gospel of Thomas is, I believe, the clearest guide we  have to the vision of the world’s supreme mystical revolutionary, the teacher known as Jesus. To those who learn to unpack its sometimes cryptic sayings, the Gospel of Thomas offers a naked and dazzlingly subversive representation of Jesus’ defining and most radical discovery: that the living Kingdom of God burns in us and surrounds us in the glory at all moments, and the vast and passionate love-consciousness–what you might call “Kingdom-consciousness” –can help birth it into reality. This discovery is the spiritual equivalent of Albert Einstein’s and J. Robert Oppenheimer’s uncovering of the potential of nuclear fission; it makes available to all humanity a wholly new level of sacred power. By fusing together a vision of God’s divine world with a knowledge of how this divine world could emerge into and transfigure the human one, the Gospel of Thomas makes clear that Jesus discovered the alchemical secret of transformation that could have permanently altered world history, had it been implemented with the passion and on the scale that Jesus knew was possible. Its betrayal by the churches erected in Jesus’ name has been an unmitigated disaster, one major reason for our contemporary catastrophe.

Unlike the Buddha, or Krishna, or any of the Eastern sages whose wisdom of transcendent knowledge left fundamentally intact the status quo of a world often characterized as illusory, the Jesus we see in the Gospel of Thomas saw and knew this world as the constant epiphany of the divine Kingdom and knew too that a wholly new world could be created by divine beings, once they had seen this and allowed themselves to be transformed and empowered as he was, by divine wisdom, ecstasy, and energy. What Jesus woke up to and proceeded to enact with the fiercest and most gloriously imaginable intensity was this new life of “Kingdom-consciousness,” not as a savior and not as a guru claiming unique status and truth–the Gospel of Thomas makes this very clear–but as a sign of what is possible for all human beings who dare to awaken to the potential splendor of their inner truth and the responsibilities for total transformation of the world that it then inspires within them.

Jesus’ full revolutionary vision in all its outrageousness, grandeur, and radical passion is to be discovered in a close reading of the Gospel of Thomas. The greatest of the sayings are like the equations of physicists Werner Heisenberg or Niels Bohr–complex but intensely lucid expositions in mystical and yogic terms of the laws and potential of a new reality, an endlessly dynamic and fecund reality created by our illusory perceptions and their sterile hunger for separation, division, and stasis.

What I have discovered on my own journey into the increasingly challenging understanding of “Kingdom-consciousness” is that as I continue to uncover and develop in my own depths the “fire” that Jesus speaks of in the Gospel of Thomas, reading the sayings by the brilliant light of this “fire” becomes even more astonishing. The sayings expand in radiance, significance, and reach as I expand my own awareness of divinity and of the powers available to all those who dare to risk transformation.

What I want to offer here is a linked reading of seven of the sayings that have most inspired me. Through this linked reading, I hope to open up to seekers everywhere the full glory, as far as I understand it now, of what Jesus is trying to communicate through the Gospel of Thomas, not just to Christians but to the whole of humanity. Let us begin with saying 2:

“Jesus said: The seeker should not stop until he finds. When he does find, he will be disturbed. After having been disturbed, he will be astonished. Then he will reign over everything.”

This saying suggests that the Jesus who is speaking in the Gospel of Thomas is not presenting himself as a Messiah with a unique realization and a unique status of mediator. This Jesus–for me, the authentic Jesus–is like the Buddha, a human being who was awakened to the full glory of his inner divinity and so knows the secret of every human being and hungers to reveal it to change the world. The life to which this Jesus is inviting everyone is not one of endless seeking, but one of finding–finding the truth and power of human divinity by risking everything to uncover them.

From his own harrowing experience, Jesus knows that finding cannot be without suffering; to find out the truth and power of your inner divinity is to be “disturbed”: disturbed by the gap between your human shadow and its dark games, the abyss of light within; disturbed by the price that any authentic transformation cannot help but demand; disturbed by the grandeur you are beginning to glimpse of your real royal nature with all its burden of responsibility and solitude. Jesus knows too, however, that if you risk this disturbance and surrender to the unfolding of your divine nature, extraordinary visions will be awoken in you–visions that will astound you and drag you into what the Sufi mystics call the “kingdom of bewilderment” that “placeless place” where everything you have imagined to be true about yourself or about humanity is rubbed by the splendor of what you discover. And from this increasingly astonishing self-discovery, tremendous powers to influence and transform reality will be born in you. Just as unprecedented energy is unleashed by the splitting of an atom, so through the “splitting” of human identity to reveal the divine identity within it, a huge new transforming power is born, a ruling power, the power that great saints and sages have displayed through gifts of healing, miracles, and undaunted stamina of sacred passion and sacrifice. The seeker that becomes a finder and ruler makes a leap in evolutionary development from human being, unconscious of the Divine hidden within him or her, to an empowered divine human being, capable in and under the Divine of flooding reality with the glory of the Kingdom. To reveal this secret, live it out, and release it in all its radical power, to make “finders” and rulers of us all, is why the Jesus of the Gospel of Thomas lived and preached and died.

I will share more of Andrew Harvey’s foreword in my next post. We are headed toward Holy Week and the Easter Season in the Christian world during which I will bring this series to its climatic conclusion with a provocative scenario of the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus, a drama that forms the very foundation of the Christian Faith. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

Golden Age and Golden Race

My Chorale Pic

Our “Hero’s Journey” ideally ends with the hero defeating his nemesis and seizing the Elixir of Immortality, his journey’s quest. That quest for Humanity has come full cycle as we travel with our Mother Earth through the Zodiac belt into the beginning of a new cycle with the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.  To seize the Elixir of Immortality, we must defeat the nemesis of our own delusions of mortality hidden from our eyes by the fabricated human ego in which we have misplaced our identity. The delusion is maintained every time we excuse our shortcomings with “I’m only human, you know.” This lie is reinforced by the religions of the world, particularly by the Catholic Church which reminds its parishioners every year to “Remember thou art dust and unto dust thou shalt return.” The truth is you are divine and cannot die. The truth is you are a human being, made in the image and likeness of God. The religions know this, yet they view and treat their “believers” as sinners and dust.

The Elixir of Immortality is to be found hidden behind religious dogmas, although revealed clearly and proclaimed loudly by the very Lord whose Gospel Christianity preaches from its pulpits: “The kingdom of heaven is within you.” The kingdom of Heaven is the Elixir of Immortality and it is within us, not in some promised hereafter.  Religion itself is the nemesis humanity must defeat in order to end its quest for a heavenly state where suffering and death are not a part of life on planet Earth.

We are faced once again with a crucial choice that will determine the future of our progeny and the entire human race. That choice is between living in a “Golden Age” that is at hand to be welcomed, stewarded and enjoyed for the next two-thousand-plus years and plunging humanity down once again into the “Dark Ages.” The choice is our’s . . . and we are making it now by our behavior on the planet.

GAIA ASCENDING

The planet herself is moving into a higher vibratory state, driven by ancient cycles of evolution unfolding on schedule within the larger energetic field of the Milky Way Galaxy. The question for us to answer is: Are we with Gaia in her ascension process? If our answer is “Yes,” then she will take us into the Golden Age of Aquarius with little effort on our part. I say “little effort” because all that is required of us is that we live in peace and harmony with one another and with the Natural World. That we love the Lord of God with all and one another as our selves. That we put down our arms and stop warring over the land and its resources that we think will give us security, along with power and control over others. For in truth, there are no “others.” There is only Oneness. There is only Love.

If the answer is “No,” then Gaia will swallow up the world we have fabricated upon her surface and take most of us with it. According the prophecies in The RA Material, Book I of The Law of One, those of us who cannot move with Gaia will then have to be relocated to another third-density planet in the galaxy where we will have yet another opportunity to evolve spiritually and learn what it means to steward and care for our habitat. Planet Earth will go on to fulfill her destiny as a fourth-density planet. Those who can move on with her will return to Earth in fourth-density “rainbow bodies” — incorruptible bodies made of white light that refracts into the colors of the rainbow.

Gaia has been a generous and forgiving hostess to third-density human beings for tens-of-thousands of years. According the RA Material, She has been used to relocate other third-density beings, as well as second-density beings such as some of the animal, insect and plant species on the planet, beings that were left homeless when their planets were destroyed or made uninhabitable, such as Maldek and Mars respectively.  Maldek was once one of our sister planets that orbited where the asteroid belt now lies. Mars’ atmosphere was destroyed by weapons of mass destruction. Those beings who destroyed their planets have been living out their karma on Earth for thousands of years, incarnating over and again in order to learn their lesson and clean up their group karma. Apparently, they haven’t learned their lesson very well yet. They need to repent from their ways and be caused to wake up before it is too late to change and ascend to a higher level of consciousness and being. The Golden Age — the Kingdom of Heaven — is at hand and beckoning us all to enter in and enjoy living in this beautiful and magical world our Mother Earth has created and dressed for us.

THE GOLDEN RACE

Roman poets wrote of the “Golden Age” and apparently mistranslated the words saecula and aetas as both meaning “age,” when in fact saecula may mean either “race” or “age,” and aetas should be translated as “race.” I lifted this information from David Wilcock’s exhaustive literary work The Source Field Investigations, which I am reading for the second time due to its density of interesting and significant historical research.  I would like very much to review this one section on the origins of the idea of a Golden Age in this blog, perhaps over several posts.

Essentially, the first Zodiac Age has historically been a “Golden Age” when life on Planet Earth is in every way a Paradise experience.  Wilcock writes:

The coming of the Age of Aquarius, surrounding the year 2012, is the repetition of a cycle that has already occurred before—a cycle in which everyone on earth apparently had mystical abilities much greater than what most of us now possess, leading them to have perpetual bounty of life ‘untroubled by strife or want . . . a Paradise inhabited by the souls of the blessed.’ [He’s quoting from H.C. Baldry’s 1952 scholarly paper “Who Invented the Golden Age?”]. The pursuit of gold was seen as ‘one of the causes of degeneration from that happy state.’ Unfortunately, our current scientific models are woefully insufficient to explain how something like this could be possible—but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t actually happen.

These “souls of the blessed” are not necessarily a special select group of souls, as Wilcock points out.

It is extremely important to mention that this Golden Race is not some weird and sick Hitlerian vision of a bunch of blond-haired, blue-eyed wunderkinder, or Nietzschean overmen, that everyone else must die off in order to make room for.  Just like the Cayce Readings said about the “Fifth Root Race,” this Golden Race may well be everyone on earth, within a finite period of time—not just a particular nationality or skin color.

We are the Golden Race. Every human being on the planet volunteered to come here at this time to bring one thing and one thing only: LOVE. Today we celebrate once again the incarnation and birth of Jesus the Christ, the Anointed One of God — the Lord of Love.  He came on Earth for the same reason: to bring LOVE. Apparently, he saw some potential is us because he said that we shall do the works that he did, and even greater works would we do.  He saw sons and daughters of God incarnate on Earth, not white, yellow, brown and black humans.

There are nearly seven billion sons and daughters of God incarnate on Earth today, so there’s a whole lot more potential now than there was two-thousand years ago.  There are some 317 million incarnate souls in the USA. There are 565 million in all of North America and 385 million in South America. That adds up to nearly one-billion souls living in the Americas — one-seventh of the world’s population — and on Google Globe you don’t see any borders between countries.

America is the land of love. That’s what the word means: Loveland. We live in a country that is consecrated to Freedom and to the Spirit of Love.  This is holy ground upon which we walk daily with freedom to be who and what we are.  Let us walk upon its sacred soil with respect and reverence for life. Let us exercise our freedom to bring love into the world. Not just at Christmas time, but always. Let’s be the Golden Race the ancients foretold would arise in the Earth to bring in the Golden Age of Aquarius.

Have a Golden Christmas and a New Year full of love, of peace, and of joy.

Be love. Be loved.

The Hero’s Journey, part 2 : The Quest, page 2, The Rainbow Body

My Chorale PicI just received copies of the third edition of Sacred Anatomy from the publisher and it looks and feels great in soft cover. This also allows me to reduce the price from $35 to $25.  I did add a description of the “Rainbow Body” to the last chapter of the book “Patterns of Ascension Established” as a way of updating with more current research on the topic of transformation and transmutation of the physical body. I will use this post to share that additional piece with my readers, especially those of you who have earlier editions of my book.

This excerpt fits perfectly with the current series theme of “The Hero’s Journey” and the Quest for the Elixir of Immortality.  After all, what we all long for is a life without the pains and sufferings of the present human state — joy and life eternal. It appears that the design for such a life is gradually coming back into place as cosmic factors line up around the dawning design of the “New Heaven and New Earth.”  We are moving through a fourth dimensional shift with our planet. More on this in my next post. For now, consider this excerpt as providing a clue for what we’re all in for over the next relatively brief period of time as we know it. Even time and our experience of time will change drastically as we return to a “time when time was not”– a topic recently aired in an LPB television programHow We Got to Now.”

Here’s the excerpt from Sacred Anatomy.

The “Rainbow Body”

“Tibetan Buddhists practice the “Rainbow Body,” the apparent dematerialization and transmutation of the physical body. The practice may be spread out over many years of meditation until the actual transfiguration is achieved — although more as a gift of spirit than an achievement of mental effort.  A Biblical passage tells of a “tranfiguration” of Jesus wherein he appeared in a glorious form with Moses and Elijah in the presence of three of his disciples, and another of his glorified body being resurrected from the grave.  What follows here may give up some inkling of the potential inherent in our own sacred anatomy.

The Sufi call it “the most sacred body” and the “supracelestial body.”  Taoists call it “the diamond body,” and those who have attained it are called “the immortals” and “the cloud walkers.”   In various other traditions it is called by such descriptive names as “the divine body” (Trantric yoga), “the body of bliss” (Kriya yoga), “the superconductive body” (Zoroastrian Vendanta), “the luminous body or being” (ancient Egypt), “the radiant body” (Gnosticism), “the perfect body” (Mithraic liturgy), “the immortal body” (Hermetic Corpus), and “the Golden Body” (Emerald Tablets of the alchemical tradition).

Here is a description of the process taken from Dream Yoga and the Practice of Natural Light by Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche and reprinted in David Wilcock’s book, The Source Field Investigations.

This is one of many depictions of the Rainbow Body from Tibet:

Body of Light: Tibetan, ja-lus.  Also known as the “rainbow body.”  Certain realized beings . . . achieve the transformation of their ordinary bodies into a Body of Light. . . . In this process the physical body dissolves into its natural state, which is that of Clear Light.  As the elements of the body are purified, they transform from their gross manifestation (body, flesh, bones, etc.) into their pure essence as the five colors: blue, green, white, red and golden yellow.  As the body dissolves into these five colors a rainbow is formed, and all that remains of the physical body are fingernails and hair. . . .

Over 160,000 documented cases of the Rainbow Body have occurred in Tibet and China alone.  David Wilcock cites a most extraordinary event that took place in Kham, a small village in Tibet, in 1998, when a Gelugpa monk, Khenpo A-chos, died leaving nothing of his earthly form behind.  He was described as having . . .

. . . a warm, spiritual nature that touched everyone he met. . . . he often spoke of the importance of cultivating compassion. He had the ability to teach even the roughest and toughest of types how to be a little gentler, a little more mindful. . . . The witnesses reported a rainbow appearing over Khenpo A-chos’s hut a few days before he died, and that “dozens of rainbows appeared in the sky afterward.  He was not sick and nothing appeared to be wrong with him — he simply chanted a mantra.

According to the eyewitnesses, after his breath stopped his flesh became kind of pinkish. One person said it turned brilliant white. All said it started to shine. Lama A-chos suggested wrapping his friend’s body in a yellow robe, the type all Gelug monks wear. As the days passed, they maintained they could see, through the robe, that his bones and his body were shrinking. They also heard beautiful, mysterious music coming from the sky, and they smelled perfume. After seven days, they removed the yellow cloth, and no body remained. Lama Norta and a few other individuals claimed that after his death Khenpo A-chos appeared to them in visions and dreams … Lama A-chos told Tiso that it takes sixty years of intensive practice to achieve the rainbow body. “Whether it always takes that long, I don’t know,” acknowledges Tiso, “but we would like to be able to incorporate, in a respectful way, some of these practices into our own Western philosophical and religious traditions.” … To our knowledge, says Tiso, the bodies of most Christian saints did not disappear or shrink after their deaths …. However, he adds, bodily ascensions are mentioned in the Bible and other traditional texts for Enoch, Mary, Elijah, and possibly Moses. And there are numerous stories of saints materializing after their death, similar to the widespread phenomenon known as the “light- body.

As I say, time was when we could “fly beyond the rainbow.”  There was a design in place for such spirit and soul travel. That design was lost, along with the Garden State, and had not been present on earth for many thousands of years when the Lord of Love incarnated on Earth. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that it was human consciousness that got lost. The design did not go anywhere but was taken away for a season until such time that the Sons and Daughters of God would again emerge on Earth through the sons and daughters of Man.  That time came with the incarnation of the Lord of Love.” (Sacred Anatomy)

The Quest for the Elixir of Immortality has not been without hurdles and challenges to overcome. Immortality itself has been withheld from human experience as some kind of “reward” in the “hereafter” for being “good” and compliant with religious dogma and moral behavior. Religion itself has been the nemesis hiding the Elixir of Immortality from naive and slumbering mortals.   The promise of eternal life has been used to establish and maintain the biggest and most profitable business of modern times — second only perhaps to the medical and insurance industries.  Notice how all three are founded on the concept that we are merely human — mortals that need costly crutches to help us through this “vale of tears” to the other side of the “valley of the shadow of death.” The letter of the law has killed believers’ hopes  for and dreams of a return of Paradise here and now. You have to die to get there, according to the beliefs and doctrines of all the major religions. Tibetan Buddhism may be the only exception.

In spite of those beliefs and doctrines, a “Golden Age” is scheduled to return on time in accordance with the “cosmic clock” that ticks away the ever recurring cycles of evolution and natural ascension. All things created rise to return to their Creator and origins. Even sound returns to the Silence that gave it utterance.  We will continue along this line in my next post. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

“The Hero’s Journey,” part 2 — The Quest

My Chorale PicThe “Quest” is ultimately for the “Elixir of Immortality,” says Joseph Campbell in The Hero with a Thousand Faces. Every quest is based upon our individual and collective subconscious memories of a heavenly state where life is peaceful, harmonious and, the best part, immortal. No one dies in heaven. No one even gets sick or suffers in heaven. No one is poor or hungry or has to pay rent in heaven. No one is lonely or depressed or even sad. Sounds like the kind of place anyone would want to live. Well, we all did at one time.

Heaven is from whence we came and to which we long to return — and shall. Yes, even though we fight, strive and pay big bucks to the medical establishments and health food stores to stave off the inevitable end of our quest, we long for heaven.  We just don’t wanna die to get there. Hmm. Maybe we don’t have to.

Heaven is said to be right here now. We just need to turn around  and see it, as The Teacher instructed.  He was in heaven standing on the ground when he said “I go to prepare a place for you, so that where I am ye may be also.”  He didn’t say where I will be after I ascend, but “where I am” now. He was enjoying a state of consciousness that allowed him to be in heaven on earth right in the midst of a very troubled world.

As the “Hero” of “The Greatest Story Ever Told,” Jesus completed his quest for the Elixir of Immortality.  He set out to restore conscious divine Presence in human flesh on earth, met and defeated the nemesis of the satanic human ego that had been hiding the Elixir of Immortality behind “the letter of the law” that kills any spiritual life in believers, then took the sting out of death itself by entering the kingdom of heaven without dying. He had completed the work he had come on earth to do well before his victorious ordeal with death. “Father . . . I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” (17 John). He didn’t come here to “die for our sins,” as St. Paul’s Christianity teaches. He came here to show us how to live and therein glorify God. Then he said, in effect, “Now, you do it.  You be the hero of your life story. Turn around and enter the kingdom of heaven that’s within you exactly where you are here and now.”

Actually, heaven is everywhere there’s consciousness – and that’s everywhere.  Our experience of heaven depends upon our own conscious awareness of being in heaven and living out of that awareness. There is no place where heaven isn’t. Even “hell” is in heaven.  That’s what makes it a hell: living in heaven on earth but not being aware of it and bumping into its laws and principles that would otherwise bring about a heavenly experience—like being forgiving, loving and kind instead of resenting, feeling sorry for ourselves, getting even and being rude toward one another; like giving instead of getting, and giving each other space to be ourselves instead of judging and killing one another with words, guns and bombs. We can let heaven be our experience now simply by loving ourselves and one another as ourselves.

But, enough with the preaching. It’s really passion. I hunger and thirst for these things to become reality on Earth. And that’s what it will take on all our parts for the world to be transformed into the kingdom of heaven on Earth — the “Golden Age” that is waiting to be born through us — a deep hungering and thirsting on the part of humanity — as we were taught by The Teacher in his sermon on the mount: “Blessed are they that do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be satisfied.” Heaven here and now is a quest worth hungering and thirsting after.

Let’s look at some of the historical records that David Wilcock painstakingly researched and collected together in his captivating book THE SYNCHRONICITY KEY. I’m just finishing my second time through this fascinating and remarkable literary achievement. Let’s start with the Book of Daniel from the Old Testament of the Bible. Wilcock suggests that the book itself tells the story of “The Hero’s Journey.”

DANIEL FORETELLS THE COMING OF A GOLDEN AGE

Daniel was the prophet who not only interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, but told him the dream itself, which the king had been so distressed over that he couldn’t even recall it. In this dream the king had beheld a great statue — “its brilliance extraordinary . . . its appearance was frightening.” The statue had a very telling composition, made as it was of various elements that bore significant signs of the times, both then and now as well as future. Its head was made of gold, its chest and arms of silver, its mid section and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, and its feet of a mixture of iron and potters clay. Then a stone, not made by human hands, struck the statue on its feet made of iron and clay and broke them into pieces, bringing the entire statue down to the ground where it shattered into such fine pieces that the wind carried the dust away like chaff so that not a trace of it could be found. But the stone that struck the feet of the statue “became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.” You can read the story yourself in chapter five of his book. A very profound story whose time of fulfillment may well have come.  For this part, I will borrow from Wilcock’s own insightful words, also giving you a sampling of his amazingly clear thought processes, much like Edgar Cayce, of whom David Wilcock is quite possibly a reincarnation.  I love where he goes with this story, one of my most favorite Biblical stories.

We clearly see an enormous statue of a man–the hero character in our story–built in layers of gold, silver, bronze and iron. Each of these layers ends up being smashed, one by one. Notice that the resulting rubble was said to look like the “chaff of the summer threshing floors.” Chaff is the unusable material that falls out of a mill that is used for grinding–or threshing–grain. The grain mill is one of the most common symbolic codes embedded in dozens of different myths, worldwide, to symbolize the 25,920-year precession of the equinoxes, according to de Santillana and von Dechend. The central axis of the mill symbolizes the earth’s axis as it drifts through the precession in de Santillana and von Dechend’s epic model. Each section of the statue corresponds to an age. The Golden Age is represented by the head-which is the beginning of each new cycle. In the final age, everything from the previous cycles is smashed by the stone in Nebuchadnezzar’s vision-and comes to a rather abrupt end.

Daniel clearly interprets each of the four main sections of the statue–gold, silver, bronze, and iron–as corresponding to a major cycle or age of human history. This begins with the Golden Age, represented here by the king. However, this vision seems to be far less relevant to Nebuchadnezzar than he may have wanted to believe at the time.

“You, 0 king, the king of kings–to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the power, the might, and the glory, into whose hand he has given human beings, wherever they live, the wild animals of the field, and the birds of the air, and whom he has established as ruler over them all–you are the head of gold. After you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over the whole earth. And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron. Just as iron crushes and smashes everything, it shall crush and shatter all these.”

We are clearly going through the Iron Age now. Indeed, many traditional cultures have been crushed and shattered by the introduction of machines and technology. Many of these machines are made out of metal, which is signified by the iron. As we continue reading this prophecy, we find out that the people of this age are weakened by how divided they become. Nonetheless, a core of strength remains: “As you saw the feet and toes partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom; but some of the strength of iron shall be in it, as you saw the iron mixed with the clay … the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle.”

Feet are the symbol of understanding, both figuratively and literally. We stand on our feet. Human understanding of the laws and principles that govern the universe has been limited, to say the least, and is undergoing a download and upgrade.  Some of us are open to the download and some of us are closed to anything that disturbs the status quo. So there is currently a mixture of new and old in human understanding and the two do not bond together, just like clay and iron do not bond.

The degree to which this Iron Age is a prophecy of our modern world becomes clearer when we skip ahead to 7:23: “There shall be a fourth kingdom on earth that shall be different from all the other kingdoms; it shall devour the whole earth, and trample it down, and break it to pieces.”

Once this Iron Age comes to a close, we again return to the Golden Age. This description is given in symbolic, dreamlike terms: And in the days of those [Iron Age] kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall this kingdom be left to another people. It shall crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever.

Moving ahead to 12:1, we again get a clear prophecy of the difficult times were in now, but also a revealing glimpse of what the Golden Age might be like once it finally arrives: There shall be a time of anguish,
such as has never occurred since nations first came into existence. But at that time
your people shall be delivered; everyone who is found writtenin the book.”

Some may believe those in the bookwill only be the Chosen,” whomever they think those people may be. Lets consider that the bookmight actually be the story of the Heros Journey itself . If this is the symbol that is being used, then how do we write ourselves into the book? How do we join the great story? It could be that everyone who takes up their own quest for the ancient Elixir of Immortality finds themselves in
the book
. Everyone who is willing to face the nemesis in the quest for a better, stronger and more loving world has dedicated themselves to the planetary healing process we now must go through. Once we defeat the nemesis on a global level, we access the treasure it has been guarding–and can now enter the Golden Age. Daniel’s description of the Golden Age is very interesting: “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake; some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the skyand those who lead many to righteousness, like the starsforever and ever.”

This appears to be an undeniable reference to the same fourthdensity shiftthat is described in the Law of One series. The next stage of human evolution, when we free ourselves from the cycles of birth and death through reincarnation, does seem to involve a movement into a light body”–much like Jehoshua [Jesus] appeared after the resurrection. In chapter 21 we will discover there are more than I60,000 documented cases of Rainbow Body occurring in Tibet and China alone. This same passage also refers to “those who sleep in the dust of the earthand then awaken. This is clearly metaphorical, not literal. It is very likely a reference to people who have remained unaware of the spiritual principles that govern the universe, rather than to dead bodies rising out of the ground, as many Christian fundamentalists believe. (Wilcock)

I will leave it there for now. I will continue in my next post, which will reveal the encoded timeline for the Golden Age’s appearance and address the nature of the nemesis. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

The Essenes, “Children of the Light,” Part 3:The Teacher

The Teacher’s Message

If you can forgive completely, the past disappears for you. If you forgive completely, you don ‘t need to worry about the future either; you can function as fully aware beings, fully conscious beings, working and moving in the moment and focusing the energies of the Divine Presence. (Excerpted from The Essenes – Children of the Light.)

Tony's picture 2 from PeggyI have been writing about the Essenes  and how they provided “The Teacher” with a core circle of trusted friends, as well as a vibrational hedge for his ministry. His twelve apostles and disciples were not all a part of that core. Only a few, such as his brother James, John the Beloved, his mother Mary,  Mary Magdalene, and Joseph of Arimathea.  Those who comprised his core and hedge lived in the Essene communities near the banks of the Dead Sea. Their purpose centered in living out of love, compassion and understanding. Their mission was about spreading The Teacher’s message of love among the people of the extended Jewish community. Few, however, had ears to hear and eyes to see.

On Time and Timelessness

The Essenes BkIn this book, pictured here, we are given a portrayal of  the Master Jesus and the essence of his message through a man named Daniel who lived in the Qumran Community at the time of the Teacher’s ministry. During a past life regression interview with Daniel through Stuart conducted by Joanna, here is what Daniel had to say about the Teacher’s personal atmosphere. Joanna had asked him about grace.

Daniel: Grace is a gift of love and healing from the higheslevel. God going the extra mile to meet us upon throad of life. We considered that we were living in time of Grace, and we felt that this Grace centerearound Jesus. He was the bringer of our Gracbecause many cosmic energies focused around himand made possible breakthroughs in consciousnessand a transformation in the lives of those who caminto his presence.

Some ones, who had sight upon very high levels, tolme that when they looked at Jesus they did not see onlhis aura, they saw this vast vortex of cosmic energwhirling around him. They said it was like the layerof an onion, an infinite number of transparent layers of energy moving out and out into the universe. So that he was the center of all things, the center not only of oudrama but the whole drama of the planet. He was thcenter of all things, and forces were gathered around him that made many things possible. Others who werattuned to the higher reaches of the angelic realm said that around Jesus they sensed the presence of very high angels.

He was the bringer of Grace who else could be a focus for all these energies? And because all thesenergies were focused together, we could move through our experience faster. It quickened everything. You could not be anywhere near him and not move more quickly along your path.

Joanna: Tell me more about this vortex of energy surrounding Jesus.

Daniel: We were aware that a whole vortex of cosmic energy revolved around Jesus and that anyone who encountered him stepped into that vortex. That was  really the miracle for us. Not that he did this or that remarkable healing, but that his whole being was a focus of cosmic energy, and thus he could bring profound changes into the lives of all those he met who could accept these energies.

As his work flowered he became more a timeless being, talking about timeless things which would be relevant in any age. Time did not touch him, he escaped from time and that was part of his work and part of his gift. But we knew that in the end time might dilute and distort the message he came to bring. Once the Teacher is no longer physically present, the Teaching may become changed and weakened. What needs to go forward is the essential message that Jesus was trying to convey: unconditional love working through the heart, and the surrendering of the will to the Divine Presence within.

The more one surrenders one’s will to the Divine Presence, the more one merges with that Presence which is within every human being, the more the path opens and the way becomes clear and straight. Then one can go forward and rise in consciousness and ascend into new frequencies of being. All of this was what Jesus was trying to teach his disciples and the groups around him. He was trying to teach this but
many did not want to hear this message, and would much rather have rigid structures. The inner truth is of the Spirit and lives, and anything which is of the letter has its day, flowers and is gone.

Remember always that Jesus lived in a difficult and troubled time. Many people were frightened, and in their fear they clung to the comforting thought of a strong Father who would protect them. They preferred a strong external perception of Deity, a strong Father rather than the Divine Presence within. They saw the within as weak, and the external forces as strong and threatening. Jesus came to show them how strong the Divine Presence could be. How it could burn like a great Light within him and illumine the lives of althose around him, but many in their fear were not able to see this.

He was offering them a chance to step out of the child state and become fully adult in the spiritual sense, but this step was too much for them. They wished to be the powerless children of a loving Father for a little while longer. You know, he never blamed them for that. He used to say that we should have faith in the ability of every human being to awaken at exactly the right time, like a flower which opens in its due season. If we choose to awaken and become spiritually adult we can become creators with God, but many were not ready for that. They wished to slumber a little longer, to bthe passive children of creation, walking hand in hand with the Father but unwilling to share in Divinknowledge and Divine power.

Joanna: And the vortex of energy around Jesus helped people to awaken at the right time?

Daniel: Yes. Because of all the vortex of power around Jesus he was able to pull people out of an obsession with the past and into the moment. When they were in his presence, the past disappeared. They realized that nothing was important but the moment, and that they were free to act within that moment.

This was one of the gifts Jesus brought for many ones, the ability to focus and act in the present in a way they had never experienced before he came. If you can forgive completely the past disappears for you. If you forgive completely you don ‘t need to worry about the future either, you can function as fully aware beings, fully conscious beings, working and moving in the moment and focusing the energies of the Divine Presence.

Nothing else is important; nothing else will exist for you. That is why Jesus excited so many people. They could feel themselves being pulled out of time and into timelessness, out of the past into the everlasting present which is the only place in which you have power. The past and the future, if you are entangled with guilt or with worries and anxieties, rob you of your power. Only the present gives you power, and forgiveness is the key to ensuring you stay within that focus, expanding your awareness and living fully within the moment. This is living as God intended. This is joy. This is freedom and this is what Jesus taught. This is the most wonderful gift which he gave to us.

We feel that this section was one of Daniel’s greatest gifts, too. It made us see the work of Jesus in a totally new light, and we realized that it is as much needed today as when he taught this wisdom two thousand years ago. Somehow in these words of Daniel all the dead weight of centuries of dogma and doctrine fell away, and the message – and the gift – of Jesus shone through.

I know because I was there. With this post I conclude this series on The Essenes, Children of the Light. Until we meet here again in a month,

The Shaman’s Gift of Healing, Page 3

Tony picConcluding the story of the Biblical “Fall” of Man from grace and stature as Hugh Malafry retells it through two of the main characters in the first book of his fascinating Blue Shaman Trilolgy, we left off in the middle of a dialogue between shaman Morgon Kara and Maia, his consort in the “Otherworld,” as Morgan Kara contemplates the power of the stone of sovereignty, which he lifted from around the neck of the blue shaman Caron as he slept by his fire after Morgon had rescued him from certain death. Maia is telling Morgon Kara the legendary story as handed down through the “Sisters” of the Blood Royal. Here’s the final installment of this excerpt from Stone of Sovereignty

And so it was that over time, brooding on her words, Morgan Kara began to realize what man had done, and that when he was prepared to ask with understanding, she was ready to speak of it. And so when again they met by her well beneath the tree, he was encouraged to ask: “So, given this gift, what did man create contrary to the will of the Makers?” This time Maia seemed almost relieved to tell him.

“I know only what the Sisters know of this, but we know that in the First Time there were those, beguiled by the pleasure they took in the life of things, who thought it would be good to come closer to the things of the earth, and these contrived to make in their own image bodies of animal flesh, imbued with life essence.”

“They made themselves coats of skins,” Morgan Kara said. Maia nodded. “They thought only of it as a kind of dress,” she said. “Believing they would be able to come and go as they pleased and so take pleasure in the world of sense, they contrived and entered into their creation. But the understanding of the art was beyond them, and what they had done was out of harmony with the whole. Beguiled by sense and the subtlety of the weave of life, they lost consciousness, and were unable to release themselves from what they had made.”

He understood at once, because in his transmigrations he had taken the bodies of others to his use. It had never particularly troubled him to do so, for so lonely is man that those Morgan Kara took were almost always relieved to feel his presence. But he was nevertheless gratified to realize all this had come of some miscreation, and his way justified by necessity.

“Like a garment that will not come undone,” he said, “they became trapped in the creature they had made; but what of the Makers?”

“The act was out of harmony with the way of the First Time, and threatened to disrupt greater cycles of creation. And so the Makers would not yield to man’s insistence that it now be as he willed, for man had desecrated the pattern of the seven worlds, and violated the way of the subtle body given to dwell in all the worlds, by incarcerating it in a body of animal flesh.”

“The Makers might have destroyed him,” Morgan Kara said. “Yet material man continues to live.”

Genetic tampering has historically been a tempting, though deadly, preoccupation with humans. We entered into the animal kingdom and lost sight of our original divine identity. We fell from grace and stature and became animals. Now we have ventured into the vegetable kingdom with our genetically modified organisms, and into the mineral kingdom by delegating our intelligence and control of our lives to the silicon computer chip and “smart phones.” Is this our understanding of what dominion is? Where will this endeavor to improve upon life’s design lead? Where will it end? We have created a world on this planet that cannot prevail against the unconquerable world of Mother Nature. (The article at this link, “Learning How to Die in the Anthropocene.” is a sobering one worth the time to read it.)

“It is a law of creation that the creator is responsible for his creation, so long as it shall continue to exist, and this applies as much to the Makers as to man. So through the alchemy of spirit, the Makers fashioned a way for the transmutation of the flesh body, and many there were who walked in that way, ascended and found release. But those who had shaped this path, insisting it was right for all to walk in it, hardened their hearts, adamant that free will allowed the way they had chosen, and the Makers must acknowledge it.

“And so death came into the world?”

“Not at once, but man was caught up in the tides of the seasons, and entering into time there is a time appointed to everything made. When death finally came it came as a gift.

“The Makers had offered a way back,” she said, “but man was determined to go his own way and spurned them. So they hedged themselves from human influence, withdrawing, the Sisters believe, into some realm of the Otherworld unknown to these kingdoms, and the Makers left man to the cycle he had initiated until it should run its course. Having taken the shaping of creation into his own hands man must face the consequences of what he has done, until he is willing to return to the pattern of the First Time.”

“Was it then he lost knowledge of the place of shaping and the world of the First Time?” Morgon Kara asked.

“Yes, but not all at once, for the Makers hoped those now in rebellion might yet relent. Instead, there was contention how to forge ahead in man’s own way; and these differing opinions fell into grievance with one another. Before long and over increasingly trivial matters men began to fight with those whose opinions differed from their own, not realizing there was no answer in the way they had chosen. There came an age of wrath in which they used those powers of the shaping remaining to them to draw fire from the center of the earth, and contrive grotesque forms to loose destruction upon their enemies. In those days there were dragons in the air, great beasts in the wilderness, and creatures within the seas that wrecked havoc on man and all that he had made.

“It is written in the stones of the Ancients,” Morgon Kara said.

“I can tell you only what the Sisters know of this,” Maia said. “We know that in the abuse of those forces remaining to him man became the enemy of life. In the cataclysms that followed vast lands sank beneath the waters, the mountains were raised and the waters under the earth rose up and swept over the burned and scarred lands where man had loosed fire from the center of the earth. Some regions were buried under mountains of ice; others became high plateaus and shifting desert sands. “

” And the earth was moved out of its place,” Morgon Kara said. “I have seen this.”

“The Sisters know those surviving sought refuge in the high mountains and in the vast wilderness places, searching for a memory of what once was, now an elusive dream of paradise. Most tried to forget what had been but feared the cycle of destruction would come round again. In the burning time man would have utterly destroyed the earth, had not the Makers once more intervened and set narrow bounds to his power: The place of shaping was veiled from him and material man was incarcerated in the outer realm of things.

Mass amnesia has wiped out all memory of man’s history before the Fall. The only record we have of how man was in the Garden of Eden is found in Genesis: “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” (Gen. 2:25)  Man did not emerge from caves as apes. Man fell into them and all records and memories of what went before were destroyed and erased in cataclysmic upheavals. And we are on a path of repeating our past unless we remember it. I think this is what Malafry is helping us do: remember what we did to bring the human race down to the level of the beast by offering a glimpse through the veil of forgetfulness.

“And yet I have crossed over,” Morgon Kara said.

“There is a rent in the veil between the worlds, for the Makers were not finished with man.”

“Is there a way back to what once was?” It was then she had first spoken to him of the blue stone.

“There is a stone, in the old tongue called, Uru An-Na, light of heaven,” she told him. “It is in the world and the world is in it; its virtue is to bind, loose and shape the world within, and so shape what is in the world without.”

“Riddles, Maia, always riddles,” he had said. But even as she spoke of it he knew he had within him some knowledge from another time.

“The truth of the worlds was written in Uru AnNa,Maia said, “and entrusted by the Makers to the Na-Akhu-El sages, who continued to dwell among men. After the mountain rising these alone of the Shining Ones remained incarnate in the earth, wholly conscious of what man was, with the wisdom to return the world to the patterns of the First Time.”

“And what is become of them?” Morgon Kara asked.

“The last of these have walked into the light and are no more.”

Maia teared. She always ended the telling of her story of man with a lament for the passing of the Na-Akhu-El sages.

“And if they are no more how shall we return to the First Time?” Morgon Kara asked.

“The regeneration of the world is written in stone,” she said, “and by Uru An-Na true change comes into the world. But there must be those to loose its virtue, and it will not be forced nor will it suffer imposition.”

Even for Morgon Kara this was too much. It troubled him that by some power beyond his understanding the stone existed in its own right, shaped its own destiny, and was both catalyst and seed of worlds yet to be. But she was right, something there was in the world that from time to time opened the heart of man, and the veil between the worlds thinned. Then was there change in heart and mind and new worlds were conceived, until old sorrows came round again, the angry ones appeared, and man must choose or suffer consequences, and truth vanish again in the wilderness of the world for another cycle in another time.

“It is not given me to possess the stone,” Morgon Kara said.

“There is none with your skill or understanding, so you must possess whom it has chosen, and by him loose the power of Uru An-Na.

He had taken her at her word and watched for the power of the stone working through those who had possessed it. It had come tantalizingly close to him, but he had found nothing in those who possessed it to suggest they could loose what was within.

He believed in time the stone would come of its own to him, and with its power he would renew the world. He would open wide the doors between the worlds. Like the sages of old he would loose fire from the center of the earth to the shape of his pure will, and empower his creations. Like the gods he would churn the world ocean for the elixir of immortality. And when it was done the world that was, the world of the heart’s desire before cataclysm swept it away, would by his hand be restored. It would be his gift: He would live ten thousand years and in a thousand forms, if need be, until it was done.

With each telling Morgon Kara learned something new, and always when she was done he confirmed, “It is for you, beloved, I seek understanding.” It was what she wanted to hear.

And so the plot thickens as Morgon Kara sets out to bring Caron under his spell and to own him and through him the stone of sovereignty. Material man seeks to own and control spiritual Man, when in truth spiritual Man created and looks after material man, as it was in the days of Cain and Abel, and we know what the record says happened with those two brothers of Adam and Eve. Well, Abel has returned from the dead. Spiritual Man has emerged and his presence in the Earth is a powerful one. The old heaven and old earth are in the process of passing away and the Makers and Shapers are incarnate once again to created the New Earth. We are the Makers and Shapers of our world.

The stone of sovereignty in the body temple is the pineal gland, a little white crystal that refocuses the Light of Love and brings heaven into the earth, uniting these two worlds as one in human consciousness and experience. Heaven and Earth are one. The Shaman in each one of us knows how the connect them in momentary every-day living.

And that’s where I’ll leave you hanging and, no doubt, ordering a copy of Malafry’s trilogy. I hope you enjoyed this excerpt as much as I did. Does it leave you with haunting ancient memories?

Thank you for reading my post. I’m looking forward to what’s next!  Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

The Shaman’s Gift of Healing, Page 2

Tony picContinuing the story of the historical “Fall” of Man from grace and stature as Hugh Malafry retells it through two of the main characters in the first book of his fascinating Blue Shaman Trilolgy, we left off in the middle of a dialogue between shaman Morgon Kara and Maia, his consort in the “Otherworld,” as Morgan Kara contemplates the power of the stone of sovereignty, which he lifted from around the neck of the blue shaman Caron as he slept by his fire after Morgon had rescued him from certain death. Maia is telling Morgon Kara the legendary story as handed down through the “Sisters” of the Blood Royal. Here’s the second of three installments of this excerpt from Stone of Sovereignty.

Many generations had come and gone since the shaman first crossed over into the place of shaping, and learned of the pattern the Makers established to inform the things of the earth. He learned, too, of the burning time [of the Papal Inquisition when the Roman Catholic Church burned to death thousands of men, women and children and the Cathars of Languedoc as heretics) and of the great transgression, when to preserve life man was confined to the outer realms, and the Makers set a veil between the worlds through which few might pass. Other shamans had come into the place of shaping before him: Some to heal the wounds of the exploited, some to exploit the hurts of the wounded. Morgan Kara saw his art as a gift of white magic. He came seeking power to heal the human soul; he understood the ills of this world are rooted in its misalignment with the patterns of the other, so there is shadow where there should be light. . . .

On another journey Morgon Kara again came upon Maia weeping on a last hill of green, at the edge of a desert that stretched to the horizon. It is always wise to begin with stillness, so he sat and watched with her in silence. Through her eyes he saw how here and there the desert advanced, and here and there relented, but overall the wasteland grew, and unchecked would overwhelm the world.

“What have you shown me?”

“The end,” she said.

“Of the world?”

“Fear engenders greed, and greed lays wastes the earth: I fear the pattern of the Makers for the keeping of the earth is broken.”

“How can that be?”

“Everyone seeks his own and none takes responsibility: The burden is too great, and these worlds will perish.”

“Can the pattern of the Makers be restored?”

“Think you shaman to heal this?” she asked bitterly. “There is not water enough to bring life back to this wasteland.”

He was overwhelmed by her mood of desolation. Seven days he sat with her, considering what might be done, and all that time his body lay in a trance, so that those who watched over him began to think him lost in his journey, as sometimes happens to a shaman who goes out too far.

“Is it not for the Makers to set this right?” he asked. “Will they now give all over to death? Shall Erlik Khan in his castle of black clay alone rule this realm, and earth become a barren stone?”

“What do you know of the Makers,” she said.

“Only that they have made these realms.”

“And withdrawing have left us desolate,” she said. “The Sisters have sought an answer to the Makers. We know it is in their power to restore the world they made. Nothing is withheld them, but what they choose themselves to deny. We know they exist and have sought them, but they will not reveal themselves to us nor intercede on our behalf, but make us bear the burden of the law of creation.”

“The law?”

“Of reaping what we sow,” she said.

“Who are the Makers?”

“Those in whom the essence of the world is inborn.”

Maia casts blame upon the Makers as though they were withholding pity and forgiveness from errant man and refusing to undo the hurt he had brought upon himself and the earth.

He pressed her, but it was all she would say. She knew nothing more, or did not care to speak of it. They sat silently together until Morgon Kara knew his time was short, and he must find his way back or perish in the flesh.

As he rose to depart Maia clasped his hand, her face bright with passion. “In us let the worlds be one.” She joined with him as a goddess takes a mortal lover. She did not ask, but he did not object: Who can resist a goddess? From that moment, of brittle bone and fragile flesh she enlarged the soul of her shaman with such influence as she had, to foster the healing of the heart. With her he felt complete; alone, Morgon Kara was never alone.

Maia longed to renew the world, and would do so by shaping her shaman to that purpose. And so it was there came a time when she revealed to him what had become of man. “There was a time, in the First Time, when the human body was not as it now is,” she confided. Maia sat with Morgon Kara at the well beneath the tree where she first met him. He remembered how she had then paused to feel the sun on her face, tied up her dark hair, and set it with a silver pin, while he watched and waited her revelation. “In the First Time the body was less dense,” she said, “and of a subtle substance infused with light. In his first form man was conscious of all the worlds and not the earth alone, where now he survives only as material man in exile from what he once was.”

“What became of him?” He was fascinated with her beauty and the tale she told, and could not takes his eyes from her.

“I know only what the Sisters know of this,” she said, ritually, “and what befell man is a matter for the Makers, but we do know that in the First Time he was given the power of the shaping, though
within limits, for he had not yet come into the fullness of his gifts.

“He transgressed?”

Maia nodded pensively. “Had he not no evil would have befallen him.”

“What was his transgression?”

Maia took the green leaf that had fallen on her lap, and with her finger tips carefully traced the stem and veins, following her thoughts to an answer. “I know only what the Sisters know of this,” she said. “We know there came a time when man was told to refrain from the making, until a cycle bearing on the seven worlds was fulfilled. He was warned that the shaping of new patterns was untimely, and would gravely alter the weave of life.”

“He didn’t listen,” Morgan Kara said.

She shook her head. “Sadly, he never does.” Her dark hair came loose and she fumbled with it a moment, then let it fall; she turned to him hands folded on her lap. “There were those who thought they knew better, and could improve upon the design of the Makers. They believed the time was right to do what they intended and acted willfully, out of harmony with what was unfolding in the whole. All that has become of the earth is because of this, and has yet to run its course.”

Morgan Kara asked specifically what they had done, but she feared what she had revealed to him, and on that occasion would speak only of the transgression itself.

Another time, she spoke to him of how the world was in the First Time, before the realms were sundered. She told him how man in subtle form had the gift to enter into the life of all living things over which he was guardian in the earth, so that he could take pleasure in their lives, and they in his presence.

“Do you mean enter into bird flight, or a dolphin in the sea?” Morgan Kara asked.

“Even into the constancy of stone, the flowering of a rose, or the great green life of trees,” she said. “And this gift was given so he might understand from within, the beauty that is woven into the essence of all living. By this means he was shown how the patterns of things fit together, to learn to shape new forms and imbue them with life; for the creation is in man even as man is in the creation, and he was made to keep the way of life from within all living.”

“Now everything flees from him,” Morgan Kara said.

” And with good reason,” she replied.  (To be continued)

These words gave me pause as I read them.

“Fear engenders greed, and greed lays wastes the earth: I fear the pattern of the Makers for the keeping of the earth is broken. . . .  Everyone seeks his own and none takes responsibility: The burden is too great, and these worlds will perish.”

Have we broken the earth beyond its ability to sustain living beings? Have we gone past the point of no return? What will become of the human race? Is it in the Makers’ pattern that the human species be allowed to go extinct to make way for a new beginning? If that is our future, then so let it be.  What we have started has to run its course. As Maia says in the next installment,

“It is a law of creation that the creator is responsible for his creation, so long as it shall continue to exist, and this applies as much to the Makers as to man.”

We may well end up exiting with the demise of our battered and poisoned habitat unless we make a radical shift in the way we live on planet Earth. As was stated by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in an interview with Matt Lauer this Sunday morning — and I paraphrase:  “We’ve become a ‘Me Now’ people with no concern for our children’s future.” We want what we want NOW, no matter the consequences to future generations, our own progeny. What will become of us is being decided NOW by us. As we sow, so shall we reap. It’s all in God’s hand, isn’t it?

“Can you make whole what has been broken?”  [Lady Esclarmonde asks the blue shaman. His reply is wise.]  ”God has made a whole and it cannot be otherwise,” he said. “I will give it to God: He will determine in this matter what is to be.”

Until my next post,

The Shaman’s Gift of Healing, Page 1

09 May bowls

I apologize to my blog followers and readers for being so long in posting a new article. We’ve been on a trip to the Pacific Northwest Coast to spend time with our boys and grandchildren in Oregon and California. It’s good to be back and writing again.

I’ve been called a shaman because I use frequency-shifting sound healing and subtle energy attunement techniques in my work as a healer. But I know from my own profound experience over fifty years of service to humanity that there’s something deeper and more to the purpose of healing than the modality of technique in the healing work of a true shaman. A true shaman offers healing of the rift between two worlds. The invisible world of Reality, wherein lies the divine design for perfect health and happiness, and the visible world of ailing flesh, suffering only from a separation from its Creator. That separation, however, is but an illusion — an illusion, nevertheless, that shapes the flesh and the world in which it suffers. In the real world, there is no separation. This paradoxical condition is what sets up the illusion out of which we turn heaven into a hell here on earth. It is the shaman’s role to transcend the illusory world and stand in divine identity in the invisible realm of spirit to facilitate the shaping of patterns of light to the unique healing needs of his client. I was confirmed in this awareness as I read Hugh Malafry’s novels.

THE BLUE SHAMAN

I’ve just finished my second reading of the first book of Hugh Malafry’s trilogy Blue Shaman, The Stone of Sovereignty, and started my second reading of book two, Caverns of Ornolac. As in all second readings of a thrilling and complex novel, I saw so much more than what I did in my first reading.

What draws me back to this author’s trilogy is the otherworldly setting for a very complex story. To sojourn in another world, the world of the shaman, is such a refreshing reprieve from the world of CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News; even BBC and PBS. That world has little to offer of hope for the future of mankind. The Real world is the invisible one, coverage of which is virtually impossible by any news agency. Malafry does exactly that, interweaving morsels of profound wisdom and simple truths as he unfurls a dialogue between characters. Here are a few of those jewels of wisdom:

“Sometimes a life’s work takes more than a life’s time.”

“Time yields to purpose.”

“To weave light in patterns, tie water in knots, and shape the ten thousand things.” [A worthy, though rightly ambitious, sense of mission and purpose.]

“Give me your heart,” Maia said [to Caron, the blue shaman], “and I will shape a world for you. . . .  It is no more than any woman asks of a man to whom she gives herself.”

Was it any wonder men shy from giving their heart to women: One moment she was lamb, another lion, and one never knew when one or the other might rise in her or to what end.

. . . when you have lost your centering in life, everywhere is nowhere, and the world is desolate.

“Is it not the way of the warrior to be at peace within, even when he knows he must fight?”

“Can you make whole what has been broken?”  [Lady Esclarmonde asks the blue shaman. His reply is wise.]  “God has made a whole and it cannot be otherwise,” he said. “I will give it to God: He will determine in this matter what is to be.”

“You must let go your shadow. To cross over [into the “In-world”] you must see yourself on the other side.”

“Always walk into the light.” [Even though — and particularly when — you know you will lose your life and all that you have invested in making yourself into who and what you think you are . . . and your life will never be the same.]

Life on this side of the veil that separates us from the “In-world” is portrayed in the story of the blue shaman as the illusion it is. What separates also connects. There is something most wonderful on the other side of the veil. The loss of illusion, for one thing, though probably scary for mortals who find meaning and purpose in making one’s way through the shadows of the mind-made world of survival. That mortal, the human ego, feels justifiably threatened by the Light at the end of the tunnel described by those who tell of their near-death encounters, because it knows that it’s curtains for it. I wonder if I will feel that same hesitancy the blue shaman had to walk into the light when I make my transition from this world to the world of Light. Not so much, I should think, for someone who has walked into the Light of Reality in the face of sure loss of his world as he knows it in order to discover and realize who he is as a divine being. The story takes you to such a place in consciousness.

THE INSEPARABLE MALE AND FEMALE

For me, the entire trilogy is a story about the relationship between the masculine and feminine as they partner in shaping their worlds. It seems the Orion shaman is always being challenged to master the sweet influences of his Pleiadian counterpart — who seems, interestingly enough, always to live in the Otherworld, which dynamic of the story tends to suggest that our “soul mates” do not incarnate with us. Hmm. Another interesting portrayal of the male-female relationship is that it’s always feminine entities who meet and greet the shaman at the threshold between the worlds to clear him for worthiness of passage and to guide him in his journey. It is through the heart, love’s domain and our feminine part, that we enter the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” — Jesus

There’s truth to this in the way a woman tests her man before allowing him into her heart and inner sanctum as a worthy partner in creating her world in what is obviously a man’s world. Malafry portrays this “battle of the sexes,” but not without resolution.  I love his resolution toward the end of the book. Much like the riddle of getting the goose out of the bottle without killing the goose or breaking the bottle, at some level — like before the riddle maker created the illusion of a goose in a bottle — the goose is not in the bottle. Likewise, at some level there is no “battle of the sexes” but only the thrilling heavenly experience of a shared creativity. Again I say “Hmm.”

TO RESTORE PARADISE — THE GRAIL QUEST

The most captivating chapter for me was “The Shaman,” because I could relate to the challenges of the shaman.  There’s a dialogue in it that alludes to a time when time and death were not and yet humans thought to change and improve upon their lives in Paradise. Whether or not one subscribes to this version of human history, Malafry weaves a believable and likely scenario of mankind’s fall from grace and stature. The path of the shaman is driven by an insatiable desire to make things right again and restore the world of mankind to the paradise of “The First Time.” Restoring the elusive Holy Grail of the blue “Stone of Sovereignty” into the hands of the Knights Templar for its ultimate return to the “Sisters of the Blood Royal” and the Grail King, is the blue shaman’s mission and purpose — very similar to that of Frodo in Lord of the Rings, as is the promise: the restoration of life and prosperity to Paradise.

As Malafry tells it, the story of the fall from grace is a haunting one for me, as if at some level in my consciousness I know I was there in the Beginning and when things literally went to hell.  I’ll let you read it as he tells it.

As in the Lord of the Rings where the ring is coveted for its power, shaman Morgon Kara takes the blue stone in his hands as the blue shaman Caron slept before his fire after he had rescued him from certain death.  The following dialogue is between Morgon Kara and Maia, his guide and empowering partner in shaping worlds to their own end. (I’ll have to share this excerpt on multiple pages.)

Perplexed, Morgon Kara opened his hand and held the jewel to the fire. It glowed with an inner fire that drew him deep into its triangular planes of light. Most precious stones were empty vessels, nothing more than the trace of their own experience as they passed age-to-age, hand to hand. But he knew the ancients had altered some to make record, others as focalizations of force, and a very few for use in the shaping of essence. This stone was all that and more, but never before had anything so eluded him. He sought the pattern of things that shimmered within, but could resolve nothing in the tantalizing play of light and shadow that beckoned but would not reveal. Even so, the stone was bound to Caron and would not let him die.

“Erlik Khan in his castle of black clay has reached out for you, but he is denied. Can a man defy death?” He knew something of the stone, for Maia had spoken of it, and he had long hoped it would come to his hand. He might have taken it from Hassan, but Maia said it destroyed those to whom it was not given; and though he doubted her in this, she had spoken of it with such awe, he feared to cross her was to lose her.

“There is a stone, in the old tongue called, Uru An-Na, light of heaven,” she had said. “It is in the world, and the world is in it.  This stone has the virtue to bind, loose and shape the world within, and so shape what is in the world without.”

“You are speaking in riddles, Maia,” he had said.

“It is exactly as I have said. In Uru An-Na the Ancients shaped the Holy Norm for this world. It exists so that no matter what is done by man, the patterns of Uru AnNa will prevail, and they have done this so that the earth shall not fail. Uru AnNa is the seal of the Makers, and a bar to the final trespass of the human will.”

“We must have this stone.”

“And it is well we should,” Maia agreed, “for the Sisters must yield to him who masters its influences. But the stone will not be taken by force.”

Morgon Kara closed his hand about the stone, remembering what Maia had told him. “Riddles, Maia, always riddles,” he always complained, but he had heard every word, and could repeat them still verbatim, even if he did not always at once understand her meaning. This was surely that stone. Hassan had taken it from a victim, who doubtless took it from another, but now it had been given to the one who had come across the wilderness in search of the lost Hallow of the Blood Royal.

Morgon Kara returned the jewel to the pouch at Caron’s neck . . . .

“Tell me again of the stone of the Makers.”

“I have told you the truth of Uru An-Na,” she said.

“Tell me again, how by its use the Ancients shaped living forms animated by fire from the center of the earth.”

“If it is as you have said what need of me?” It was her ritual to object. She would be courted. It was his ritual to reply. “It is for you, beloved, I seek understanding.”

Apocalypse of Light 2013, Part 5 Questions Answered in the Light, page 1

Walter Russell

Walter Russell

Walter Russell tapped into the secrets of the Universe. He was able to do this because he lived his life in the Light.  His intense desire for knowledge was the key that opened his heart and mind to receive knowledge directly from God. His writings and revelations indicate clearly and repeatedly that each one of us can access knowledge directly from God just as easily as he did, echoing words the Master Jesus reportedly uttered: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12) That is a promise worth exploring and receiving.

In THE MESSAGE OF THE DIVINE ILIAD  Russell answers questions concerning life and universal truths in the Light. I will share some of these questions and answers in the next few blog posts. As always, you comments are welcome and encouraged.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q. Why is it you are able to answer all of our questions upon any subject so easily?

A. Because all knowledge exists and one can have all knowledge by desiring to have it. To quote from THE DIVINE ILIAD: “All questions are answerable in Light. Thou art Light. Thou can’st answer them. You can answer them as well as I if your desire for knowledge is sufficiently intense. Let me call to your attention, however, that I cannot answer questions which are not knowledge. I could not tell you the date of Julius Caesar’s birth, for that is not knowledge; that is but information. Knowledge is limited to cause. Information concerns effect. Effect belongs to the sensed electric universe of motion. Motion cannot be known. It can but be comprehended.

Q. What is the underlying principle of motion?

A. The universe of motion is founded upon a very simple principle, as simple as your heartbeat or your incoming-outgoing breath. All effects are the result of the two desires of the Creator for expression of His idea. One desire is for division of oneness of idea into multiple forms of ideas. The other is for a return to oneness for repetition of multiplicity through rest. Each of these desires is expressed by half a cycle of two-way motion between two opposite points of rest to other opposite points. Each opposite voids its other opposite, but our senses do not detect this fact. If they did, they would sense the illusion which the universe of motion is. All effects of motion are the result of either balanced or unbalanced interchange between the pairs of opposites which manifest God’s two desires while on their respective journeys to and from the rest points in the Light from which each is extended.

Q. Have you any simple key, or formula, which helps you answer questions?

A. Yes. My knowledge of the wave is the key.

Q. Tell us about the wave.

A. The wave is the foundation of God’s creative expression. By means of light-waves God expresses His two desires. There can be nothing more simple than the wave principle of equal giving and regiving for the purpose of repeating the giving and regiving. Complexity lies only in multiplying simplicity. The principle that two times two are four is simple, but the same simple principle applies when you multiply 5648 by 4872. All you have done is to create the idea of complexity by multiplying simplicity. That in no wise alters the simple principle. When you learn to think in terms of the wave, you will find yourself living in another world. The more you know the light-wave which records God’s thinking, the more you will be enabled to think with Him. The more you think with God, the more you will know, for God is all knowledge and His knowing will be your knowing.

The wave is the key.  Until the next post, may the Wave be with you. 🙂 Tony's picture 2 from PeggyAnthony Palombo

Apocalypse of Light 2013, Part 2: Russell’s Two-Way Universe page 1

Walter_Russell (1)Walter Russell (1871-1963)  was an ancient soul incarnate as a genius, “an American polymath known for his achievements as a painter, sculptor, author and builder and less well known as a natural philosopher and for his unified theory in physics and cosmogony. . . .  He believed mediocrity is self-inflicted and genius is self-bestowed.”  His life’s mission and purpose was to bring about lasting and revolutionary change to human consciousness and the scientific world in order to save mankind from destroying itself and the Earth.

Russell wrote with exceptional clarity of complex concepts on the way the Universe works energetically.  To him all of creation—from the microcosm of atoms and subatomic particles to the macrocosm of solar systems and quasars—manifests an intelligent design based on what he called a “two-way universe of giving and re-giving” which he foresaw scientists and physicists would inevitably study and implement here on Earth.  In fact, the very survival of the human race depends on it.

I would like to spend a few posts sharing some of his perspective from one of his books I recently read with keen interest.  But first, a little background introduction to this author.

The book, A NEW CONCEPT of the UNIVERSE, was first copyrighted and published in 1953 as a special revised edition of “A BRIEF TREATISE ON THE RUSSELL COSMOGONY” and was published again in 1989.  Walter and his “deeply illumined” and “congenial” wife LaoLao_Russell worked together as a team exploring the mysteries of life and how the universe works.  They founded the University of Science and Philosophy in Swannanoa, Virginia, where  they co-authored several books and a Home Study Course in Universal Law, Natural Science And Living Philosophy.  Together they wrote ATOMIC SUICIDE? in 1957 and The Electrifying Power Of Man-Woman Balance:  World Peace Through World Balance.  Among several other books, Walter wrote “THE SECRET OF LIGHT in 1947 and Lao wrote and published a wonderful book entitled GOD WILL WORK WITH YOU, BUT NOT FOR YOU in 1955. You can find their books online at Amazon.com.

Walter left school at the age of 9 to work during hard times, but also because he didn’t feel he fit any longer in the company of his earth-bound peers after having his first out-of-body experience and ecstatic fusion with Cosmic Consciousness at age 7 alone in a woods — where he often retreated thereafter when he wanted “to be alone with God.”

RESURRECTION

At age 14 Walter was stricken with black diphtheria, identical to the black plague, and died of the illness only to resurrect his body from death.  His throat functions had been destroyed. About this experience he wrote:

I had no awareness of my body, whatsoever, but while in that state a great ecstasy overwhelmed me with all-knowing Light of Love and, to the amazement of my weeping parents, I arose from my bed perfectly healed. . . It was then given me to know that the power of revitalization of my body was mine, and I, who had been pronounced dead by man, lived strongly in the body.” (The Message of the Divine Iliad, Vol. II)

HIS STORY AND COMMISSION

Here are some interesting facts about this genius who, like Edgar Cayce, revisited Earth to shed a light of truth into clouded and confused areas of human consciousness and hopefully leave behind him a better world because he had lived and delivered his gift to humankind. He lived with a sense of commission and wrote with daring and challenging authority from a perspective far above that of his peers in the scientific world.

In 1921, at the age of 49, Walter Russell experienced his Illumination into the Light of Cosmic Consciousness during a thirty nine day and night period. His family even consulted specialists in order to decide if he had to be admitted into a psychiatric clinic. Fortunately these doctors were very impressed by his recordings and sensed that something great was happening.

In 1927, Walter Russell published “The Universal One”, his fist attempt to explain the Cosmic Laws for the established scientists. As he failed completely, he worked another twenty years on it. The result is his “The Secret of Light” , which he published in 1947.

In 1941, the American Academy of Sciences conferred a doctorate on him, after several laboratories had isolated the elements which he had foreseen: Deuterium, Tritium, Neptunium and Plutonium.

In the meantime he gave numerous speeches and for 12 years he lectured upon the Law of rhythmic interchange and ethical principles in business to the officers and salesmen of IBM. Together with other notable figures of his time he built the ”Twilight Club“ , which very successfully gave positive spiritual impulses for the betterment of humankind. Their efforts resulted in notable service organizations like the Rotary Club, The Lions Club, the Boy Scouts of America and many others. They stood up for a right of education, for minimum wages, controlled advertising and much more, getting big support from Adolph Ochs, the owner of the New York Times at that time.

HERALD OF THE “NEW AGE OF TRANSMUTATION”

At the very beginning of the book is “An Open Letter To The World Of Science” which really grabbed me. Russell minces no words in laying out his message and life’s mission.  He sent it to some 350 members of the National Academy of Science and Royal Society of London, a hundred Universities, and three-hundred leading newspapers as carrier waves for his pioneering and dynamic spirit that would find its influence in the scientific world. Here’s how it begins:

This announcement with its new concept of Light, Matter, Energy, Electricity and Magnetism is a simple yet complete, consistent and workable cosmogony which will enable future scientists to visualize the universe as ONE WHOLE, and will open the door to the New Age of Transmutation.

He was born into a world at war and took aim at the one solution that would end all wars: make them impotent. He had already made significant contributions to science, one being his two Periodic Tables of Elements, which included two elements he charted and copyrighted in 1926 that were used in making the atomic bomb used on Japan to end World War II.  In the fourth paragraph of his letter he comes right to the point:

Present threatening world conditions make it imperative that science discloses the way whereby the weakest of nations can protect itself from the strongest of them and render attack by land, sea and air impotent.

This new knowledge will give science this power.

Russell’s “new knowledge” makes atomic energy look like battery juice and the atomic and hydrogen bombs like expensive fireworks.  He literally re-discovered for mankind a way to unleash and harness the cosmic energy that creates and operates the Universe.  Used as a deterrent, a nation would have the power to literally make any and all attacks by other nations utterly impotent.

HIS DREAM: FREE ENERGY FOR ALL

As I said, he was born into a world at war, so his discoveries and knowledge were applied to wartime strategies with the intention of ending World War II, which he was instrumental in doing.  But he had nobler motives and more far reaching goals in mind. His ultimate goal was to give every human being the ability to harvest energy right out of the air they breathe and industry the technology to transmute needed metals out of common ordinary sand rather than having to dig for them and blow up mountain tops.

You’ll have to read his work yourself to even begin to understand the following, which is based on his understanding of musical frequencies and octaves and their application to elemental chemistry and physics.  He was a musician from his boyhood years. I could summarize his letter, but then you would be deprived of enjoying  the current of his pioneering spirit conveyed by his own words.

The world needs new metals. Many new rustless metals of greater density, malleability and conductivity await division in vast quantities from carbon and silicon.  These will be found when science discards its concept of matter as being substance, and becomes aware of the gyroscopic control of motion which will split the carbon tone into isotopes as a musical tone is split into sharps and flats.

In the chemical elements, the sharps and flats are isotopes. These can be produced by man in greater numbers than Nature has produced them, for Nature does not begin to split her tones until she has passed two octaves beyond carbon.  There is tremendous opportunity for the metallurgist of tomorrow to create new metals in the carbon and silicon octaves.

Of even greater importance to the world is this crucial period is the production of unlimited quantities of free hydrogen.  This ideal weightless fuel could be transmuted from the atmosphere while in transit without the necessity of storage capacity.

These are important things which might now be known if Kepler’s discovery had divulged the facts of geometric symmetry and dual curvature within the wave field.

His law of elliptical orbits evidences that he was on the verge of discovering that four — not two — magnetic poles control the dual opposed balance of this two-way universe.  With but two magnetic poles a three-dimensional radial universe of time intervals and sequences would be impossible. A balanced universe must have two poles to control centripetal  generoactive force, and two compensating poles to control centrifugal radioactive force.

By means of such knowledge, science could rid the earth of fear of attack by any nation no matter how the attack might come, whether by land, sea or air.

Russell proceeds to make his case for what he calls “Mind-knowing” as opposed to “sense-thinking,” but doesn’t stop there.  He takes on the laboratory proof of the existence of God:

This new knowledge will give to science the cause of all the effects which have for centuries of research deceived the senses of scientific observers.

Man has a Mind as well as having senses, but he has given preference to the evidence of his senses in the building of his cosmogony. Man can reason with his senses but he cannot know with them. Reasoning is sense-thinking – not Mind-knowing. He has also produced effects without knowing their cause.

The senses have not revealed to man that this is a substanceless universe of motion only. Neither have they told him the principle of polarity which divides the universal equilibrium into pairs of oppositely-conditioned mates to create a sex-divided electric two-way universe.

The time has come in the history of man when knowledge alone can save the human race. Man has for too long left the Creator out of His Creation, thinking He cannot be proven in the laboratory.

God not only can be proven in the laboratory, but because of the facts of that proof man can solve many heretofore hidden mysteries of the universe such as that of the seed and growth life and death cycles the purpose of the inert gases as electric recorders of all repetitive effects and the true process of atomic structure.

Apparently ahead of his time by just a few decades with the darkness of his time not comprehending the light of his intuited knowledge, Russell expresses his frustration with the sense-thinking scientific community:

You might reasonable ask why I have withheld this knowledge for so many years.  I have not withheld it.  I tried in vain to give it from 1926 when I first published charts of the complete periodic tablets herewith attached, up to the beginning of World War II when I tried to organized a laboratory group to save England from its unnecessary bombardment.

I also accepted and held the Presidency of The Society of Arts and Sciences in New York for seven years for the sole purpose of giving to the world this new cosmogony based upon a two-way continuous, balanced universe which is presumably expanding to a heat death.

During this period, I lectured upon the misconceived idea that hydrogen is the basic number one atom of the periodic table. I explained that there are twenty-one other elements which precede it and that hydrogen itself is not a single element but a whole complex octave. I also explained the impossibility of there being any element without an inert gas as its source. At that time I distributed my periodic charts to approximately 800 scientists and universities.

Further than inciting research which yielded so-called isotopes of hydrogen and heavy water, nothing came of my effort, nor did I receive the credit due me. Incidentally, those so-called isotopes are not isotopes but full-toned elements of an orderly octave group series. Isotopes do not occur in Nature until they reach the octave following the silicon octave. The reasons for this are fully explained in our Study Course. I wrote two books, gave many lectures and set up a demonstration laboratory in a university to prove that the elements are not different substances but are differently-conditioned pressures of motion — and that the structure of the atom is based upon the gyroscopic principle.

As one after another of my discoveries appeared under other names, I acted on the advice of a friendly science editor to withhold any more of my new cosmogony until it was fully completed in words and diagrams, and again copyrighted.

It has taken many years to so complete it that it is invulnerable to attack, but this has now been done, and this present treatise is as complete in brief as the whole cosmogony is complete in detail.

I do not look for immediate acceptance of this revolutionary new knowledge. I do hope and expect, however, that the seed of it will grow within the consciousness of science, and as I am nearing 82 years of age I feel it incumbent to announce the fact to science through this open letter and treatise that The Russell Cosmogony, which my gifted wife, Lao, and I have together written into a year’s Study Course of 935 uncontradictable pages, and 182 diagrams, is now complete.

This course is now being studied all over the world and, through our students as seed, this new knowledge will ultimately transform the world.

It is with the deep desire that a higher civilization shall arise that I send forth this message to mankind. The day is here when Science and Religion must marry, or through ignorance of God’s Universal Laws man will perish from the earth.

Hoping that the world of science will recognize that this treatise has within it the answer to basic cause for which it has been so long and tirelessly searching, I am

Sincerely yours,

Walter Russell

Greatness once again has spoken words that, perhaps not heard for their full meaning and significance, nevertheless impacted human consciousness and changed history.  I’ll tell you more about some of his “new knowledge” in my next post.  Until then,

Be love.  Be loved.
