SACRED ANATOMY: The Pineal Gland–Cornerstone of the Temple

“The physical body is Real and beautiful beyond words to describe. It is wonderful beyond all the imaginings of mankind. In it are revealed the secret things of God.  Through it work the Cosmic Forces of the Universe.”—Uranda

THE PINEAL BODY

The Spirit of Love

Between the two hemispheres of the brain, below the posterior portion of the corpus callosum — the thick tissue connecting the two lobes of the cerebrum which hover over this inner sanctum like two arched wings — is a hallow space called the “Cave of Brama.”  In this cavity, enthroned atop the corpora quadrigemina — four small eminences on the back side of the brain stem serving as relay stations for auditory and visual impulses — is a small protuberance called the Pineal Body, or epiphysis cerebri.  Its pinecone shaped head, from which it derives its name, points back toward the “arbor vitae” (tree of life) of the cerebellum in the occipital cavity of the cranium.

Situated in the exact position of the Divine Proportion of the Golden Mean (.618 the distance on a line drawn from the front of the brain to the rear, and from the top of the skull to the bottom), behind and slightly above the level of the Pituitary Gland, the Pineal is about the size of the first digit of your little finger.  Its functions, however, are vast and relate primarily to the natural rhythms of the body.  It produces hormonal crystals, such as melatonin and serotonin, which synchronize the body’s circadian rhythms regulating some physiological activities, such as the sleep cycle, with the rotational cycles of the earth, as well as regulating blood flow to the brain, thereby influencing behavioral patterns and mental activity.  –The Pineal Gland located at the Golden Mean of the Divine Proportion of the Brain —

The color frequency of the Pineal is Violet correlating with the seventh wavelength of the light spectrum.  Violet is a passionate color and I wonder if perhaps, it isn’t here in the “seventh heaven” where our sense of deep passionate love for truth and for life itself is most deeply known.  This color also represents the purple garments of royalty befitting a king, and is not Love, rightly, the benevolent King and ruler of our hearts and of this whole holy world?  I perceive its musical pitch to correlate with F Natural. (This pitch shifted to a higher frequency of F# sometime during the dawning of the 21st century.)

As with all the endocrine glands, the Pineal is ductless and therefore secretes its hormones directly into the blood stream.  Folic Acid and Vitamin B12 are nutrients which support the health and function of the pineal gland.

The “Third Eye”

In former times the Pineal has been called by various names.  In the fourth century the Greek philosopher, Herophilus said it was the “sphincter of thought,” or the “origin of thought.”  Indian mystics said it was the “third eye,” the “eye within” and the “contemplative eye.”  Rene Descartes, the sixteenth century French philosopher, said the pineal was the “seat of the soul,” the seat of our consciousness.  Science, on the other hand, called it the pineal body, when no one understood what its functions were or if indeed there were any. For a while it was called the pineal gland and in the last decade it has been called the pineal organ because of its direct connection with the brain in producing its primary hormone, melatonin.

Lawrence Blair, in his book Rhythms of Vision in Chapter 6 entitled “The Subtle Anatomy of Man,” says there is a debate as to whether the “third eye” can be attributed to the Pineal or to the Pituitary, or as he states it:

…to the Brow or to the Crown Chakra; it is perhaps a somewhat academic point but I personally favor the Crown as being its most likely location. The corresponding physical organ, the pineal, is known to contain vestigial retinal tissue, and its structure is likened by modern physiology to a third, albeit atrophied, photo-receptor.

A further interesting physiological fact is that the pituitary gland (or the Brow Chakra) is connected to the left eye and governs the lower half of the brain, whereas the pineal expressing the Crown Chakra, is connected to the right eye and governs the upper half of the brain.

Perhaps no one has written with as much detail and insight about this little gland as has Dr. Jacob Liberman, optometrist and pioneer in the therapeutic use of light and color,  and the art of mind-body integration.   Dr. Liberman’s work has centered around developing a way for treating the cause of human ailments—physical, mental and spiritual— with light and color. In his brilliant book, Light: Medicine of the Future,  Dr. Liberman integrates the biochemical, psychological and spiritual properties of light.  He says the awareness of how light and color affect our lives was expounded upon as far back as 1840 by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose dying words suggested that  the “second shutter”  be opened in order to let “more light come in.”  He was not referring to the window blinds, but rather to the third eye” of the pineal gland.  Three different eyes were thought to exist: the flesh eyes for visual perception of light, the “eye of reason,” or “mental eye” and the “contemplative eye,” which Goethe says, “appreciates God.”  Dr. Liberman suggests that we must “integrate our vision to incorporate all the three eyes, as well as opening up the second shutter, but in doing so, we begin to open up our vision in a way that opens up our lives.”  Further, he cites Jonathan Swift’s insightful words, who wrote, “‘Real vision is the ability to see the invisible.’”   Liberman’s view is that by integrating these three eyes, we can experience what otherwise seems invisible.

Dr. Liberman explains how the average individual perceives only a small fraction of the stimuli coming at them from the environment.  “My personal experience is that as the inner eye opens, as we begin to see what at one time we felt was invisible, we tune into a broader spectrum, not only of the electromagnetic spectrum, but of the subtle energies that are not even within this electromagnetic spectrum.”   The word subtle relative to energies speaks to me of spiritual or ethereal light; that which is behind and before solar light and fills the spaces between the elements of the molecular world.   We are speaking here of the substance of love which creates a bond between us and with the natural world around us.

Speaking of the primary function of the Pineal Body, Liberman attributes the very primal instinct of bonding between individual life forms, such as between parent and child, to the all encompassing role of the Pineal.  “This bond,” he writes, “thought to develop out of the ‘heart-to-heart’ synchronization between mother and child, is a microcosm of humanity’s synchronized relationship with nature and the rest of the universe.”

Acting much as a light meter and physiological metronome attached to the physical eyes, the Pineal relays information received through the hypothalamus about the outside world of space and time, such as the length of the days and the seasons of the year,  to the body and the mind by way of hormonal messengers, alerting the body to the need to generate changes. These hormones alter moods, circadian (twenty-four-hour) rhythms and seasonal reproductive cycles so as to synchronize with changes in the natural world with which we are connected.

Dr. Liberman continues:

The timing of physiological events is very critical to the health and propagation of a species.  Since the pineal gland seems to adjust the entire physiology of organisms to their environment, the physical size of this gland seems to vary according to where animals live.  Thus, the pineal is relatively small in animals living at or near the equator, whereas its size increases proportionately the further north or south of the equator animals live.

In certain species, such as the elephant seal, the pineal gland at birth occupies 50% of the brain.  If the size of the human pineal gland is directly related to the degree to which living creatures are in touch with their environment, does the size of the human pineal (pea size) indicate something about the state of our consciousness?  Would a change in our consciousness, and a closer connection between us and nature, increase the size of our pineals?  Whatever the answer to these questions, respect for nature by all living creatures is not only a moral necessity but is definitely crucial to the longevity and quality of life. . . .  In creatures such as birds, lizards, and fish, light stimulates the pineal by penetrating directly through the skull.  In many reptiles, the pineal has all the photo-receptive elements characteristic of an eye. It is therefore referred to as a “third eye” because, in many creatures, it resembles an eye in both structure and activity.  However, in humans, as well as in all hairy creatures, light stimulates the pineal exclusively by way of our eyes, therefore making it an integral part of the visual system.  The technical name of the pineal is epiphysis cerebri, which literally means “top of the brain.” It is my belief that humans originally also received light stimulation through the top of the head, as is vividly described in many metaphysical and ancient spiritual writings. This indicates that at one point in human evolution, perhaps prior to the development of the brain hemispheres, the pineal may have actually been positioned at the top of the human brain. . . .  Today, the pineal is recognized as playing a major role in every aspect of human function.  It acts as the “regulator of regulators.”  Aside from its documented effects on reproductive function, growth, body temperature, blood pressure, motor activity, sleep, tumor growth, mood, and the immune system, it also seems to be a factor in longevity. (pp. 31-33)

Whatever the evolutionary history of this tiny gland, its very existence appears to haunt us, as little was known of its purpose and function until recently.  Although it has tended to be rejected as having any significant role to play in the body,  it has been discovered that it plays an intimate and vital role with the eyes.  I suspect at one time—perhaps before “the Fall” when Man lived in the Garden of Eden—it served as an internal eye, a vibrational “window of heaven,” through which we were able to “see” into the realms of light, into heaven, and communicate daily with the LORD God.

–The Pineal enthroned atop the Corpora Quadrigemina–

Considering its makeup of retinal tissue and its close association with the corpora quadrigemina with its relay stations for auditory and visual impulses, one can even imagine how the Pineal may have served as a transmitter of sorts by which we heard the heavenly sounds of angelic voices singing in the realms of light.

I like to think of the Pineal Body as the throne of deity on earth, the deity of divine being,  a remarkably exact reflection of the “throne set in heaven” John describes in the Book of Revelation in the Bible, even  down to the fine details of  the “four beasts full of eyes before and behind,” the significance of which we shall explore shortly.

Of the seat of the soul Uranda says this:

Meditation upon the Cosmic Principles of Light, Love and Life, keeping the attention centered in the Seat of the Soul—that is, IN the Throne of thy Father within thee, in the center of thy head— seeking the while to detect the INFLOW of Cosmic Vibrations through thy hair, followed by the OUTFLOW through thy WHOLE body in a glorious  Radiance of the Christ in which thy WHOLE, HOLY BEING is enfolded, will speed thy conscious comprehension of the ONE TRUTH that thou art ONE with the ALL that is ONE.   (Steps To Mastership, Lesson 43)

An excellent pineal attunement technique is toning with one’s focus in the forehead where the “third eye” is sending out radiant beams of light. Toning a high pitch will resonate with the high frequency of this sacred energy center.

I welcome your thoughts and inspirations. I will continue in my next post with a consideration of the spiritual significance of the Pineal gland as the focus for the Spirit of Love. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

Hypothalamic Dysfunction and Chronic Stress

Over the past 8 years, since 9/11 actually, I have noticed a marked increase in clients with hypothalamic dysfunction, indicating to me a global increase in chronic stress of epidemic proportion, especially in post 9/11 America where terrorism continues to threaten our lives, our liberty, and our pursuit of happiness. Little wonder our immune systems, shut down by a fermenting culture of fear, are failing us.

I will speak to the cause of this dysfunction, as I see it, and the conditions that occasion it before continuing sharing excerpts from my book, SACRED ANATOMY.

(Before proceeding, I would direct you to read, or review, my previous post for an understanding of the normal function of the hypothalamus.)

CHRONIC STRESS

Chronic Stress is simply prolonged and unresolved stress.  Let me explain this from a physiological as well as a practical perspective and understanding of the way things work in our bodies.

I will start with a simple example of chronic stress. Let’s say, just for entertainment, that you have wandered into a pasture and, when you look up, you notice that a big, black bull is charging at you from a distance, which gives you plenty of time to run and get out of harm’s way.  Only you, for some strange reason, freeze on the spot and can’t seem to get your legs moving. This is a classic example of the residual effects of chronic stress. Your fight or flight stress response is in a state of incoherence and dysfunction.

Now let’s examine how this incoherence and dysfunction come about. As we saw in my previous post, every function in your body depends on the hypothalamus and its ability to receive information from your environment and convey that information to your body — as well as to YOU — and no, you are not your body but the One who lives in and through it.  Every cell also needs adrenal hormones (cortisone, adrenaline and noradrenalin) in order to perform its duties in a timely and effective manner. (See pictures below)

Now, our bodies obey our every command.  they respond to every thought entertained and imbued with spirit and feeling — feelings such as love, compassion and gratitude, as well as those of fear, resentment and worry — in other words, thoughts that WE give credence and energy to. Not the many and sundry thoughts that our net-like minds snare in the stream of thoughts passing through them from out of the mass consciousness we share with everyone else; only the ones that I pay attention to as being worthy of my time  and energy to entertain, and perhaps do something more overt with.

THE CAPTAIN OF YOUR SOUL

The factual point I am making here is that YOU are responsible for your body’s every function —  yes, even its physiological functions, which cease the moment you vacate your body in death.  As the poet William Ernest Henley put it when he penned INVICTUS,

It matters not how strait the gate, how charged with punishments the scroll. I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.”

(Note: The word “strait” means “exact” and not straight as the shortest distance between two points. We find this word used in the scriptural passage: “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” (Matt 7:14).  In other words, exact, precise, with no deviation, no compromise. That’s the integrity inherent in Life’s way.  This saying of Jesus comes just after he articulates the ‘Golden Rule” to do unto others “all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you.”)

THE PHYSIOLOGY OF THE STRESS REFLEX

Now back to my physiology lesson. As soon as you infuse a thought with fear, for example, your fight or flight reflex kicks in as the hypothalamus sends hormonal messages to your adrenal glands to produce and secrete adrenaline into the blood stream in order to empower your muscles to engage the environmental stress factor — real or imagined matters not.  If you act on the impulse to respond to the stress and DO something to resolve it, one way or another, then you will use up the adrenaline secreted for that event.

On the other hand, if you do NOT actively respond to the urge to fight back and dispose of the stress factor, or take flight from it — the nemesis that stands in the way of your attainment of peace and security, or some more deeply threatened value in your life, such as the freedom to be yourself and respected in a dominated or abusive relationship — then the adrenaline stays circulating in your blood stream stimulating body cells into frantic and destructive activities, often to the point of exhaustion and chronic disease. Prolonged and mishandled stress is at the energetic root of all chronic diseases, most common of which is chronic fatigue.

But more detrimental to health and homeostasis is the frustration and consequent shut-down of the hypothalamus due to the abundance of adrenaline in the body tissues, indicating that more is not needed to face the many other stresses that arises in life — along with continued failure to heed its messages and do something about the stress.  Eventually, the adrenal glands themselves shut down due to the lack of clear and coherent directives from the hypothalamus. You can’t even sleep at night for the amount of mental activity going on due to the abundance of cortisol in your brain just running thoughts and worries. You wake up in the morning as tired as or more tired than you were before you went to bed.  Chronic stress has literally taken away your health, as well as your life.

You need a vacation! So you take one. But, you know, you take your fears and worries with you on vacation.  Without understanding why or how, you may find yourself frozen in place and unable to act quickly in an emergency, such as a vehicle crossing over the median of the highway and heading in your direction.  Or a child in distress in the swimming pool. The consequences of your inaction are potentially tragic and irreversible. You’ve got to “wake up and smell the roses,” as the saying goes. You’ve got to come fully into the present moment.

HELPFUL SOLUTIONS

Physical exercise, especially walking, helps use up the adrenaline, as well as blood sugar, freeing up cellular receptor cites to receive more adrenaline and sugar-bearing insulin, which, if it remains too long in your circulatory system, will do damage to the arteries and trigger the production of cholesterol in the liver for damage control.  Walking also gives you a chance to process your thoughts and feelings and raise your perspective to see things as they actually are from a higher point of observation. We can only make changes in ourselves and in our worlds as we see and accept things exactly as they are.  It’s the only workable starting point.

As for the hypothalamus, it needs to be reset to present-time awareness. That requires specific nutrients to support the physiology, along with restful sleep. It also requires spiritual practice of some kind, such as yoga and meditation, along with deep breathing and mindfulness. Energy work, such as Reiki to balance the Chakras, and Attunement to balance the endocrine system with the Chakra centers, especially when facilitated by intentional sound healing, offers potent and immediate return to inner peace and harmony, as well as disengagement of the fight or flight reflex, allowing time and space for the hypothalamus to reset to present-time awareness. We learned how the pleasure-induced neurohormone oxytocin disengages the fight or flight reflex in the previous post.  A little playtime, even a tasty treat, can do a lot for down-regulating stress. All things in moderation, of course. Just be kind to yourself.

There is a nutritional protocol available to help in resetting the hypothalamus and endocrine system, which I’ve used in my service for many years with favorable, although limited, results. Limited in that honest internal work is needed as well in order to start facing the stresses in life with acceptance and resolve, even opening to embrace them as opportunities to grow spiritually. Developing a sense of right expectancy helps us to be patient with Life’s creative process so as not to spoil the perfect outcome. Remember, it is God’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom of Heaven right here on earth.

The instruction “In all things give thanks” is a wise and worthy guide to success in this area of handling stress creatively by redirecting aroused reactive energy.  One simply needs to remember it in the heat of the moment when overbearing circumstances tend to trigger the fight or flight reflex in your hypothalamus. Giving thanks may even interrupt the urge to react and take the negative charge out of your feelings. Love does have a way of dispelling fear and anxiety, as does patience and forgiveness, the gifts of Spirit.

With so much release of wisdom and council, the coming week will surely hold many opportunities and challenges for walking my talk. And I say: “Bring it on!” These past few weeks have been very stressful. With the grace and mercy of Divine Providence, we have emerged victorious and blessed.  After all, life without stress is impossible.  Pressure is essential to growth in all phases of our development.  In the squeeze of circumstance, look up and you’ll go up. Looking down will only bring you down further.  So, look up!

Sacred Anatomy: The Hypothalamus, Our Stress Response Center

(The ads inserted by Word Press into my blog are not endorsed by me. I apologize for their intrusion.)

HOMEOSTASIS AT ALL COSTS

As spiritual beings, our incarnation is not accomplished without a great deal of stress being placed upon these flesh bodies. They embody, after all, the Spirit of the Living God.  Angels, such as we are, incarnate to live and create at the lowest level of being, the physical plane, where we are met by challenging and often stressful conditions and events that require a clear and accurate line of communication with and feedback from our environment.

The first means of communicating with the physical plane is the brain and central nervous system, the first organized system to develop in the embryo. Among its many roles, this system provides feedback information about the external terrain in the world around us—the earth.  The endocrine system provides a means for conveying creative commands and directives from the inner realm of spirit in the internal terrain—the heaven. The hypothalamus, together with the thalamus and the amygdala, play roles of mediation between these two communication systems and thereby between these two conjoined worlds, the inner world of spirit and the outer world of form.  It connects the endocrine system with the nervous system, mediating the ongoing management of stress, the process of maintaining homeostasis in the material world, a state of equilibrium between boundless creative power and extremely limiting physical boundaries.  The body is built, nonetheless, in a state of homeostasis.

(Note how the brain stem in this diagram is funnel-shaped as it inserts itself into the hypothalamus, where it downloads information gathered by way of the outer senses and sent up the spinal chord via nerve fibers and spinal fluid.)

Few medical writers have captured both the spirit and function of the endocrine system as a sacred vessel for the administration of life’s fierce and volatile creativity as has Dr. Robert Becker. In fascinating research published in his book, The Body Electric, Dr. Becker speaks of this area of the floor of the brain with high regard, reflecting Dr. Hans Selye’s research into the stress response mechanism in the physical body:

The hypothalamus, a nexus of fibers linking the emotional centers, the pituitary gland, the pleasure center, and the autonomic nervous system, is the single most important part of the brain for homeostasis and is a crucial link in the stress response.

Dr. Sherwin B. Nuland, Clinical Professor of Surgery at Yale University, where he also teaches medical history and “bioethics,” writes about the relationship between the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland. His books—the acclaimed best-selling How We Die and, more recently, The Wisdom of the Body—are an inspiring search within the interior life of our bodies for the biologically elusive quality of life that defines us and a journey through the body’s magical “tumultuous” terrain of chemistry-driven physiology that constantly seeks homeostasis at all costs.  Ironically, such dynamic balance is achieved by means of the “turbulence of chemistry, the seeming chaos of tissue, the volatile responsiveness of cells” upon which tempests the stability of health rides.

Almost poetically and certainly with profound depth of understanding, Dr. Nuland elaborates on how our bodies care for themselves and “how we have transcended mere survival . . . and . . . made use of our unique biology to travel the long road from the creature Homo to the human being.” He speaks here about the action of “signaling molecules” in the brain, ordinary neurons (neurosecretory cells) that function like endocrine cells and produce “neurohormones” called “neuropeptides.” Some sixty of them are to be found in the human brain, including endorphins that work like morphine for pain and calm us even to a state of euphoria.  He writes:

Not uncommonly, a neurohormone’s action is to make an endocrine gland secrete. Accordingly, the neurosecretory cell allows direct communication between the endocrine and nervous systems.  A stimulus reaching a neuron can thus be converted into an action caused by a hormone.

The relationship between the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland is particularly important in this regard, especially because the hypothalamus is involved with autonomic regulation and the states of the emotions, and it does contain certain neurons that secrete neurohormones.   The interaction of the two structures is facilitated by their anatomic one-on-top-of-the-other juxtaposition at the base of the brain.  So closely integrated is their functioning that they have together been called the neuroendocrine control center….

The relationship among the hypothalamus, pituitary, and adrenal has been formalized in the writings of medical researchers by calling it the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, or HPA. Reciprocal relationships among these three structures have been shown to influence the body’s response to stress and the secretion of certain neurohormones that affect the immune system. This is one of the fields of research under the general heading of psychoneuro-immunology, and it has shed considerable light on possible ways in which the brain and even conscious thought may play a role in immune response . . . .

The back, or posterior, part of the pituitary is actually composed not of endocrine cells, but largely of glial tissue and nerve fibers coming down from neurosecretory cells in the hypothalamus.  The axons of these cells extend down into the posterior pituitary, carrying the neurohormones oxytocin [a lactation and uterus-contraction hormone produced in the hypothalamus and stored in the posterior pituitary gland, as well as a disengaging hormone for the fight or flight reflex returning the body to a state of calm and coordination] and vasopresin [the hormone that sets off the fight or flight reflex and acts as an antidiuretic]…. A great deal of the behavior and response of the body’s 75 trillion cells is determined by signaling molecules, whether carried afar by the bloodstream or active locally.  In complex and complementary ways, such chemical substances work in coordination with the wondrous array of responses within the nervous system, all with the aim of maintaining that dynamism of constancy, that exuberance of seeking, which is the substance of human life…. The result of the interactions of electrical and chemical messages is that every part of the body is able to know what every other part needs and is doing.” (p. 347)

A vibrant community is to be found within these temples on the microcosmic level of cellular activity, a community that is reflected in the macrocosm of the natural world we inhabit where all things are connected by vibrational cords.  Dr. Jacob Liberman, in his book  Light Medicine of the Future, summarizes the essential nature and function of the Pineal Body as a powerful and focal hormonal gland along with the coordinating function of the hypothalamus:

In Oriental medicine, the daily patterns of individuals are associated with the level of health they maintain.  Imbalanced responses to specific rhythms, seasons, and their associated cycles are related to specific kinds of physical and emotional problems.  Harmony within our life processes is related to the level of communion between our bodies and the environment. Can we experience fluid integration of our own minds/bodies/emotions without creating that same level of harmony in our relationships with nature, or vice versa?  Isn’t our internal integration a mirror of our integration with all life (people, animals, nature, work, etc.)?  Perhaps, literally and symbolically, our longevity may be related to our ability to integrate and synchronize ourselves with the planetary and solar-stellar energies that surround us.  The pineal gland and its interdependence with the rest of the body hold the key to the mysteries of our aging as well as our agelessness.

In summary, light enters the eyes not only to serve vision, but to go directly to the body’s biological clock within the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus controls the nervous and endocrine systems whose combined effects regulate all biological functions in humans.  In addition, the hypothalamus controls most of the body’s regulatory functions by monitoring light-related information and sending it to the pineal, which then uses this information to cue other organs about light conditions in the environment.  In other words, the hypothalamus acts as a puppet master who, quietly and out of sight, controls most of the functions that keep the body in balance.

All the body’s systems relate to each other in a constant state of flux, with the hypothalamus at the center.  The hypothalamus interfaces between mind and body, coordinating our constant state affecting our consciousness, and thereby controlling our constant state of preparedness. This critical maintenance of body harmony is effected by synchronizing the body’s vital functions with the environmental conditions, or, as some people say, “becoming one with the universe.” (p. 34)

Thus is life in the body maintained by internal combustion of powerful hormonal and chemical interactions, fiercely but accurately conveying spirit through flesh. Our house of being is a burning bush, much like the one Moses experienced when he rose in his spirit to meet his destiny, stressful as it no doubt was. This is the only way to meet the stress of life, even in the face of certain death.  He did not just see a burning bush. He was himself the burning bush that was not consumed.

I am reminded of that powerful scene from Philadelphia where Andrew Becket (Tom Hanks) and Joe Miller (Denzel Washington) are listening to an exhilarating aria sung by Maria Callas as Madelena in Umberto Giardano’s opera, Andrea Chanier, as she watches the family home burning after her mother had died saving her.  It’s a climatic piece in the film where the two are preparing for their final day in court when Andy will testify on his own behalf against his former employer who he contends terminated his association with the firm when it was learned he was an active homosexual with AIDS. Andy pours his heart out, filled as it is with deep love for life amid bitter sorrow for what is transpiring in his defenseless body,  translating with tearful anguish as Maria Callas sings with the fullness of her enormous voice from the depth of her passionate soul: “Look!” he utters through his tears, “The place that cradled me is burning!  . . . I bring sorrow to those who love me . . . It is during this sorrow that love came to me as a voice filled with ardor . . . It said: ‘Live still!  I am life! ….I am divine!  I am oblivion!  I am the God that comes down from the heavens to the earth and makes of the earth a heaven.  I am love!  I am love!’”

This scene always splits my heart open to its core longing to fully and freely reveal my Self to my world, to let love manifest in all of its beauty and unconditional generosity, all of its non-judgmental acceptance, without consuming this flesh.  As things are now, it will be consumed in the end, even though all that is in me says it could be otherwise — and one day shall be.

Hormonal chemistry brings the fire of love into the body-temple. Thus is it cleansed, made new and lifted to its true vibratory level as the Cathedral of our Milky Way Galaxy is reordered by cosmic forces.  These forces are at work within Gaia, with whom we share an inseparable bond.  What happens within Gaia happens within us, and what happens within us happens within Gaia.  We are one with our Earth Mother, and through her with the Cosmos.  We breathe the same breath of life. We are one with our Father, the Great Spirit Creator Gaia embodies, along with the entire solar entity. We may well honor this Father and this Mother that our days may be long upon the land which the LORD our God has given us, recalling the promise of Moses’s seventh commandment. 🔯

The Elixir of Your Immortal Self

Joseph Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey” is a quest for the “Elixir of Immortality.” The quest ends when the seeker finally realizes that what he is looking for is the one who is looking. That One is the Immortal Self, known when expressed in living — the only way you can know your Self.

You cannot see yourself, for a state cannot observe itself.  Whatever you can see isn’t you. You are the invisible One who is looking out through the windows of your soul at a world of motion and illusion, itself made of light and sound. Even you body is not you. It is your temple made of light and sound. You are the Immortal One incarnate in your temple of light. You can know your Self by expressing the qualities of your Immortal Self.

YOUR TRUE QUALITIES

The qualities of your Immortal Self are seven-fold. They are: patience, tranquility, blessing, assurance, radiance, wisdom and love. These are the gifts of Spirit. Each one is a step along the Way to your Temple of Light, the first step being Patience. Patience leads to Tranquility of mind. A tranquil mind leads to the Realization of the Blessing you are to your world. Being the Blessing you are, consistently, purifies your heart and brings Assurance that you are worthy of giving and receiving love — that love is who and what you are. Assurance brings the Radiance of Life to your body-temple and to your words and expression. Wisdom is the sixth gift of Spirit and the sixth step to the Temple of Light — the sense of what is fitting in each moment. Love, the seventh step, brings you fully into your Temple of Light where you know your Immortal Self as One with the All. I Am that I AM. I am the light of my world.

SACRED ANATOMY

You have spiritual anatomy for the expression of these qualities. You are equipped with seven endocrine glands that are designed to produce hormonal chemistry appropriate for the expression of your spirit in each moment of living, as well as the appropriate physiological action in your body. All you have to do is sound a tone that resonates with the Spirit of Love in your expression and the hormones needed for the moment are immediately secreted directly into your blood stream and throughout your body. It’s that simple.

You do not have to generate these qualities of spirit. They are part of your Immortal Self. They are who and what you are. To know and enjoy them in this temporal and mortal realm of Creation, you need only give them expression through your heart, mind and body. When expressed, these qualities of Spirit shape your world, as well as your perception of it.

I explore this spiritual anatomy in my book SACRED ANATOMY.  Here is the introduction:

INTRODUCTION

Over my forty-two years of service as a holistic practitioner, I have frequently meditated on and pondered the anatomy and physiology of the human body, noting in wonderment how in form and function it truly does provide a beautifully adorned and aptly furnished temple for worship, and more. I have noted from personal experience how the human body, fully serving its ordained purpose as a capacity for incarnation of divine being, not only manifests health but begins to give evidence of the presence of divine being. It becomes peaceful within and radiant with light.

From my early adulthood I have known innately that as it would be returned to its true and sacred service as a temple of worship, the human body would prove to be a most potent vessel, a holy grail, for uplifting the essences of atomic substance to the Creator, who made it for this purpose. It is simply designed that way. In such sacred service it would itself be lifted up to a higher and finer vibratory frequency for even greater service to the One in the Divine Design for Man. That greater service is the radiant outpouring of creative love that blesses and transforms whatever substance comes into its sacred space-a priestly function of incarnate divine being on this physical plane of the whole, holy world.

I have always felt that as we would see what is actually present with us in our own physical, mental and spiritual anatomy and physiology, we would have at least a beginning understanding of ourselves as creator beings. We would, therefore, have a better clue as to how we might function in such a way as to bring our incarnating capacities into a state of alignment with the creative power of love and in phase and harmony with the Creative Process that fathers and mothers it, along with all the myriad forms of life on earth. For the purpose of the human body is not separate from that of the Creative Process that has lifted it up from out of the dust of the ground of our Earth Mother and brought it forth through Her womb into the world for highly specialized creative work. It is part of that divinely ordered process as a sacred instrument of creation itself. Further, it is my deep conviction that as it would be used to embrace that work fully, this temple would continually enjoy not only the health that is its birthright but the ecstasy of ascension and union with God for which it was created in the beginning-no longer as dust returning to dust but dust arising unto splendor.

What follows in the pages of this book are the fruits of inspiration gleaned from my own medi-tations as I have pondered the beauty and sacredness of the human body and learned to work with its impeccable wisdom as a health care practitioner. My presentation will be in three parts.

First we will consider our presence as creator beings in these body temples — “angels”incarnate, each one, and all together as a collective body — and the divine technology at work in the design and construction of our bodies as powerful, creative instruments for the conveyance of divine light into the field of creation around us, utilizing the seven hormonal glands of the endocrine system in concert with the Chakra system. We will look at the design and purpose of these glands and Chakra centers as well as their function both as hormone generators and as sacred centers for energy transformation and release.

We will then enter the temple through the “Inner Sanctum,” hidden and protected within the sanctuary provided by the cerebral lobes of the brain. Here our focus will be on the first three sacred “seals” of the endocrine system which bring forth life in the temple. We will explore how much in our life experience is resting upon our right function in relationship to sacred energy.

Then, leaving the inner sanctum, we will explore the outer rooms of the temple and appreciate the alchemy at work through the various services rendered by the remaining four endocrine glands. Their work includes the radiant release and management of the creative current of love. They serve in officiating the “Ceremony of Ascension” by which are lifted up the responsive currents of worshipful tithes from out of the Natural World into a place of pristine stillness. It includes preparing the way for the creative command to be given by which the will of the One is done on earth as it is in heaven. Our role as stewards of the Creative Process is crucial to the Natural World and to life on this planet.

In the closing chapter, “Steps of Ascent,” we will examine the process of resurrection and ascension as modeled by the Master Jesus two-thousand years ago and the impact which his life has had on the body of mankind then and now. We will see our body temples in a larger context of ancient and biblical temple worship, as well as of the cathedral planet that is its home among the stars.

Our sacred anatomy offers a very powerful and personal theme for meditation. This book was written to evoke deep currents in the heart for the sacred in everyday life. I have endeavored to make it both profound and practical, as well as informative. Writing it has been a challenging and fulfilling undertaking. It has been challenging to the extent it is personal and therefore revealing of the heart’s secret and sacred places. It has been fulfilling because it has called out for over a decade to be written as a passion that longs to be spoken and a song that yearns to be sung.

We all possess cherished and well-protected beliefs and concepts, which are as numerous as the peoples, religions and cultures of the world. Yet there is only one infinite Reality manifesting through myriad forms. Meditations of the heart on infinite Reality are not always as neat and tidy as the finite words, concepts and beliefs the mind is accustomed to processing and entertaining. Therefore I ask you to discern for yourself the heart space from which I write, especially when our mental concepts and beliefs do not agree. As we abide in the spirit behind the words, I know we will find ourselves, for the most part, in a place of agreement, even though our beliefs may differ. The truth is what I seek to know and teach, along with the freedom such knowing brings, even freedom from concepts and beliefs about it — perhaps especially from such concepts and beliefs. If there is something you have read but just cannot seem to grasp, then simply move on and come back to it later. Perhaps your understanding will deepen as you read other chapters.

I trust that you will find as much inspiration reflecting on these things as I continue to derive working closely with the anatomy and physiology of the human body as a healthcare practitioner. Let us begin our journey, then, and set forth on our exploration of the colorful landscape and fine texture of our sacred anatomy. Let us walk together with unshod feet upon the holy ground and precious terrain of the sacred anatomy of this temple that provides a place of abode for the living
God.

My Heart a Sea of Glass. . .Mingled with Fire

ATTUNEMENT WITH THE ONE I AM

When my heart is quiet and my mind is still, my inner landscape becomes a sea of glass clear as crystal, mingled with fire.  Upon this crystal sea of quiet stillness is reflected the light of my spirit divine.  And I am immediately in love with what I see and what I know of who I am.

Then my heart wants to sing and I hear the sounds of light in heaven begging to be sounded on earth . . . the music of the spheres.   Thus am I guided in my quest for the sacred harmonies of the cosmos that make this world, my form, so beautiful, so magical.

I connect these two realms of heaven and earth with the music of the Soul of my soul. The inaudible becomes heard, the invisible  seen, the unspoken finds words in my heart, which alone understands the mystery of the Word made flesh.  The mystery of God is finished in my earth . . . and I know the awful power and sublime bliss of attunement with the One I Am.

Attunement with Sacred Sound

Sound is a natural carrier wave for spirit and for consciousness.  I have found it very useful in my attunement healing work.   I use tuning forks, singing bowls and voice to create sound waves.   Over the years I have collected several such tools for sacred sound. (Click on the above link to obtain a copy on my book exploring this methodology in depth.)

When I found an “A” bowl forged of Tibetan metals that sings a pure tone when stroked with the soft leather-bound end of the baton, I could then play three complete harmonious chords during attunement with sacred sound sessions. They are:

1) the A Major chord (A C# E) for the Spirit of the Womb (Pituitary and Crown Chakra),

2) the F Major chord (F A C) for the Spirit of Purification (Thymus gland and Heart Chakra), and

3) the D Major chord (D F# A) for the Spirit of the Single Eye (Adrenal glands and the Chi power center and/or Root Chakra).

Sacred Anatomy

Now, these pitches and chords are not etched in stone as the pitches and chords for specific energy sites in the body.   Like our physical forms, this is a work in progress, and as we continue to evolve spiritually in consciousness, the flesh of our body temples will continue to spiritualize, the cells that comprise the flesh thus oscillating to higher and higher frequencies, ascending as they shift frequencies.

This said, however, I am inclined to embrace my original inspired realization that the harmonic tones of the light of the sun and the light of love are comprised of relative frequencies, seven in number, and since our physical bodies are created by love from out of the vibrational substances of light and sound, and are positioned at the crossover point between these two creating forces of sunlight and lovelight,  the frequencies of the sacred energy sites of the seven endocrine glands and the seven Chakra are relative harmonics of the tones of these two luminous realities. Indeed, they are prisms for refracting the light of the Spirit of Love into seven spirits and the light of the sun into seven colors and musical pitches.

This is what I mean by the term “sacred anatomy” in my book by the same name. All of the anatomy of our body temples is sacred and connected to everything in heaven above and earth below, as are all things in the Universe. So, I’m not saying anything new here.   I only wish to emphasize the special role the seven hormonal glands of our endocrine system play, in concert with the seven chakras, grounding sacred energy and therein bringing the Creator in touch with Creation . . . God incarnate in human flesh.  Is there anything more special, more mystical and mysterious, more enjoyable than this?!  We have the best seat in the House of many mansions to enjoy the Symphony of the Music of the Spheres.

Is not this something worth being and living in attunement with?!  Worth keeping my heart and mind a sea of glass clear as crystal and mingled with the fire of my love for life?!  Surely it is.

How to do that and still live in the world of turmoil and strife?  The key lies in finding the still point of one’s turning world.  For once one finds it, one will never want to leave it, and once it finds you it will never let you leave it.  One can find it through attunement.  One can find it through meditation.  Of this be assured:  while you are looking for it, it is looking for you, for a creation without a creator is impossible and will always seek out its origins for sovereign benediction and for attunement with the Light of the Creator. Creation also seeks its creator for change and renewal.  Should it not find its creator, it will disintegrate without the blessing of its creator, and that is truly sad. This is why evening and morning sanctification, where one takes one’s world into one’s heart and hands for blessing and forgiveness, is so uplifting.  Because it’s also centering.

I start an attunement session by asking the person to come into the present moment completely with no thought of doing or accomplishing anything other than simply coming into the present moment and being now here.  Putting these two words together we have nowhere.  To help them I suggest they get in touch with the feeling that they will be here for the rest of their life with nothing demanding their attention, either from yesterday or tomorrow, not even in the immediate future after the session.  Be here now forever.  I take that attitude myself so that I can offer the greatest possible blessing.  I then assist them to come to a place where that is the truth of the matter, for the here and now can be taken into every moment of life.   Or, more accurately stated, every moment of living can be brought into the here and now.

So thoroughly can one become absorbed into the here and now and be present in the center of one’s turning world that one can lose the sense of going anywhere, as on a journey, and gain the sense that somewhere is always coming to where one is. One may have to don an automobile or a jet liner to accomplish this task, just as we had to don a physical body in order to walk in a world of space and time. But one no longer sees oneself as moving out of the present here and now at the center on one’s revolving world.  This simple change in perspective is the resolution of all forms of stress, for it puts to rest the desire to be somewhere other than where one is now, and to have anything more than what one has now. All things come to one who waits in patience upon the creative cycles that move one’s world toward the center where I am. And they come at a rate that I can easily handle them appropriately and successfully with the greatest of ease and to the blessing to all concerned.  Above all, it creates the unhurried atmosphere inside of a sea of glass clear as crystal mingled with fire.

Be love. Be loved.

Creating Sacred Sound Fields

Creating Unified Sacred Sound Fields (excerpted from my book Attunement With Sacred Sound)

My Chorale PicThis is a powerful healing technique whereby two or three quartz crystal bowls are used to create a unified sound field with the recipient placed in the middle of the setting. This can be done with vocal toning as well where two or three individuals or small groups tone the designated pitches. A Vesica Piscis is created where the sound waves meet and overlap one another. The one sitting or lying down in the Sacred Sound Vesica may experience profound frequency shifts that may open a portal through which something entirely new may be born in consciousness, such as new revelations, new thoughts and creative ideas, even new patterns of healing and transformation in one’s physical and energetic bodies. This is the magician’s realm of expertise. Sound healing in its finest advanced application.

When a single tone is sounded, it sends out a spherical waveform. This waveform creates a “sound field.”

When two harmonious tones are sounded simultaneously, their sound fields overlap creating thereby a “third field.” This opens a vibrational window referred to as a “Vesica Piscis,” a unified sound field. I am calling this a “Sacred Sound Field.”

Vesica_piscis_circles.svg

The Vesica Piscis is a vibrational portal formed by two overlapping fields of energy. It derives its name from its fishlike shape.  It has been called the “Womb of the Great Mother,” as it serves as a vibrational birth canal for a “third” waveform to come forth that may give rise to new thought and inspiration, leading to new and innovative creative expression.  This phenomenon demonstrates George Gurdjieff’s “Law of Three,” which I expand upon in my book Attunement with Sacred Sound.

We can create various unified harmonic sound fields using quartz crystal bowls. (I was not able to reproduce the color images from my book.)
  1. A “Perfect Fifth” sound field for healing can be created using two bowls that are tuned a Perfect Fifth apart in their tone. For example an A and an E bowl, or an F and a C bowl, etc. The colors in these diagrams are not true to the frequencies, but this gives one an idea of how two frequencies overlapping create a unified field with a different tonal quality.
  2. A more complex sound field is created by using three bowls whose pitches form a harmonious triad. For example F, A and C bowls. This combination of harmonic sounds is ideal for balancing the endocrine and chakra energy fields. As laid out in the chart on page 71, each pitch is assigned to a specific aspect of the sacred energy site with which one is working. Again, these colors are not true to the frequencies. One can get a sense, however, of how different tonal qualities are created by the overlapping sound fields.
Endocrine and Chakra Pitches
  1. Crown Chakra and Pineal Gland: B, D#, F  (The pound sign # indicates the note is sharp, half a step up)
  2. Brow and Pituitary Gland: A, C sharp, E
  3. Throat and Thyroid Gland: G, B, D.
  4. Heart and Thymus Gland: F, A, C.
  5. Solar and Pancreas Gland: E, G sharp, B.
  6. Root Chakra and Adrenal Glands: D, F sharp, A.
  7. Sacral Plexus and Gonadal Glands: C, E, G.
Moving energy with sound

We can move energy by changing the pitch of the third harmonic up and down. For example, while working with the thymus and heart centers, using the F, A and C bowls, by changing the middle note A to an A flat or G sharp, we can dip down and connect with stuck dissonant energies at deeper levels in the heart where perhaps troubled feelings are being harbored. Then, by returning to the A bowl, we can resolve the dissonant energy back to a harmonious tone and thereby reclaim the energy being used to maintain troubled feelings, incorporating it back into the whole.

To bring sacred energy down from higher frequency levels, change the A to an A sharp then back down to an A. This technique can introduce fresh energy into the mix to energize the field and may even help shift the frequency of the body itself to a higher level.  These techniques can be used with all combinations of harmonic triads.

In my next post I will talk about the “Law of Three” and the Law of the Octave. So, stay tuned.

The Hero’s Journey, part 2 : The Quest, page 2, The Rainbow Body

My Chorale PicI just received copies of the third edition of Sacred Anatomy from the publisher and it looks and feels great in soft cover. This also allows me to reduce the price from $35 to $25.  I did add a description of the “Rainbow Body” to the last chapter of the book “Patterns of Ascension Established” as a way of updating with more current research on the topic of transformation and transmutation of the physical body. I will use this post to share that additional piece with my readers, especially those of you who have earlier editions of my book.

This excerpt fits perfectly with the current series theme of “The Hero’s Journey” and the Quest for the Elixir of Immortality.  After all, what we all long for is a life without the pains and sufferings of the present human state — joy and life eternal. It appears that the design for such a life is gradually coming back into place as cosmic factors line up around the dawning design of the “New Heaven and New Earth.”  We are moving through a fourth dimensional shift with our planet. More on this in my next post. For now, consider this excerpt as providing a clue for what we’re all in for over the next relatively brief period of time as we know it. Even time and our experience of time will change drastically as we return to a “time when time was not”– a topic recently aired in an LPB television programHow We Got to Now.”

Here’s the excerpt from Sacred Anatomy.

The “Rainbow Body”

“Tibetan Buddhists practice the “Rainbow Body,” the apparent dematerialization and transmutation of the physical body. The practice may be spread out over many years of meditation until the actual transfiguration is achieved — although more as a gift of spirit than an achievement of mental effort.  A Biblical passage tells of a “tranfiguration” of Jesus wherein he appeared in a glorious form with Moses and Elijah in the presence of three of his disciples, and another of his glorified body being resurrected from the grave.  What follows here may give up some inkling of the potential inherent in our own sacred anatomy.

The Sufi call it “the most sacred body” and the “supracelestial body.”  Taoists call it “the diamond body,” and those who have attained it are called “the immortals” and “the cloud walkers.”   In various other traditions it is called by such descriptive names as “the divine body” (Trantric yoga), “the body of bliss” (Kriya yoga), “the superconductive body” (Zoroastrian Vendanta), “the luminous body or being” (ancient Egypt), “the radiant body” (Gnosticism), “the perfect body” (Mithraic liturgy), “the immortal body” (Hermetic Corpus), and “the Golden Body” (Emerald Tablets of the alchemical tradition).

Here is a description of the process taken from Dream Yoga and the Practice of Natural Light by Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche and reprinted in David Wilcock’s book, The Source Field Investigations.

This is one of many depictions of the Rainbow Body from Tibet:

Body of Light: Tibetan, ja-lus.  Also known as the “rainbow body.”  Certain realized beings . . . achieve the transformation of their ordinary bodies into a Body of Light. . . . In this process the physical body dissolves into its natural state, which is that of Clear Light.  As the elements of the body are purified, they transform from their gross manifestation (body, flesh, bones, etc.) into their pure essence as the five colors: blue, green, white, red and golden yellow.  As the body dissolves into these five colors a rainbow is formed, and all that remains of the physical body are fingernails and hair. . . .

Over 160,000 documented cases of the Rainbow Body have occurred in Tibet and China alone.  David Wilcock cites a most extraordinary event that took place in Kham, a small village in Tibet, in 1998, when a Gelugpa monk, Khenpo A-chos, died leaving nothing of his earthly form behind.  He was described as having . . .

. . . a warm, spiritual nature that touched everyone he met. . . . he often spoke of the importance of cultivating compassion. He had the ability to teach even the roughest and toughest of types how to be a little gentler, a little more mindful. . . . The witnesses reported a rainbow appearing over Khenpo A-chos’s hut a few days before he died, and that “dozens of rainbows appeared in the sky afterward.  He was not sick and nothing appeared to be wrong with him — he simply chanted a mantra.

According to the eyewitnesses, after his breath stopped his flesh became kind of pinkish. One person said it turned brilliant white. All said it started to shine. Lama A-chos suggested wrapping his friend’s body in a yellow robe, the type all Gelug monks wear. As the days passed, they maintained they could see, through the robe, that his bones and his body were shrinking. They also heard beautiful, mysterious music coming from the sky, and they smelled perfume. After seven days, they removed the yellow cloth, and no body remained. Lama Norta and a few other individuals claimed that after his death Khenpo A-chos appeared to them in visions and dreams … Lama A-chos told Tiso that it takes sixty years of intensive practice to achieve the rainbow body. “Whether it always takes that long, I don’t know,” acknowledges Tiso, “but we would like to be able to incorporate, in a respectful way, some of these practices into our own Western philosophical and religious traditions.” … To our knowledge, says Tiso, the bodies of most Christian saints did not disappear or shrink after their deaths …. However, he adds, bodily ascensions are mentioned in the Bible and other traditional texts for Enoch, Mary, Elijah, and possibly Moses. And there are numerous stories of saints materializing after their death, similar to the widespread phenomenon known as the “light- body.

As I say, time was when we could “fly beyond the rainbow.”  There was a design in place for such spirit and soul travel. That design was lost, along with the Garden State, and had not been present on earth for many thousands of years when the Lord of Love incarnated on Earth. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that it was human consciousness that got lost. The design did not go anywhere but was taken away for a season until such time that the Sons and Daughters of God would again emerge on Earth through the sons and daughters of Man.  That time came with the incarnation of the Lord of Love.” (Sacred Anatomy)

The Quest for the Elixir of Immortality has not been without hurdles and challenges to overcome. Immortality itself has been withheld from human experience as some kind of “reward” in the “hereafter” for being “good” and compliant with religious dogma and moral behavior. Religion itself has been the nemesis hiding the Elixir of Immortality from naive and slumbering mortals.   The promise of eternal life has been used to establish and maintain the biggest and most profitable business of modern times — second only perhaps to the medical and insurance industries.  Notice how all three are founded on the concept that we are merely human — mortals that need costly crutches to help us through this “vale of tears” to the other side of the “valley of the shadow of death.” The letter of the law has killed believers’ hopes  for and dreams of a return of Paradise here and now. You have to die to get there, according to the beliefs and doctrines of all the major religions. Tibetan Buddhism may be the only exception.

In spite of those beliefs and doctrines, a “Golden Age” is scheduled to return on time in accordance with the “cosmic clock” that ticks away the ever recurring cycles of evolution and natural ascension. All things created rise to return to their Creator and origins. Even sound returns to the Silence that gave it utterance.  We will continue along this line in my next post. Until then,

Be love. Be loved.

The Body Electric, part 5: — Of Angels and Archangels

Tony Pics for SA BookHuman consciousness is slow to change. Habits of expression persist, even among those who know the truth, myself included. Just as an example, when speaking of death it is common parlance to say “When I die . . . .”  Interestingly, I just typed in a small “i” by error. Or was it a Freudian slip?

There are two selves, a lower self and a higher Self. The lower self is mortal. The higher Self is immortal. The lower self “i” will die.  The higher Self “I” cannot die.  The lower self is our human nature and identity. The higher Self our Divine nature and identity — the angel incarnate. The first is a substitute. The second is the genuine article, the authentic Self.

Now, most are aware of this dual nature of our identity. Some have actually gone through the process of assuming identity with the Higher Self.  For them, there is no death. Except out of consideration for limited human understanding, they would never say, for instance, “When I die.” Nor would they speak of their mortality. This bring me to the topic of this blog post: “Of Angles and Archangels.”

When the genuine appears, the substitute passes away.

My spiritual mentor spoke those words some thirty years ago. He was referring to the human ego and human nature as a substitute for divine identity and divine nature. A cycle has been on the move since the Fall when Man left the presence of the Creator in his consciousness. The Creator didn’t go anywhere.  It was Man who left the presence of the LORD God Creator and has since been looking for re-connection and reunion.

Since what is called “the Fall,” Man has been in the presence of the Creator only not conscious of the Creator’s presence, nor of his inseparable oneness with the Creator. Man is the Creator of his world. Man is an inseparable part of the Creator. We are co-creators with God. No, not the human ego but the angel incarnate. The human ego has no existence of its own. It depends entirely on the presence of the angel for its substance and existence.  The human ego arises out of flesh. The angel arises through flesh as spirit. As Human Beings we experience the union of flesh with spirit. This is so on the individual and collective levels.

Actually, there is only the Collective.  Individual humans do not exist on their own as islands in the sun. No man is an island, someone once said. Man is a collective entity, a physical Temple of the Living God.  “The Tabernacle of God is with men” says the Holy Scriptures. There is the Body of Mankind on Earth, and we each are cells in that Body.

This implies the presence of another collective, one of incarnate angels. Just as no man is an island, no angel is an isolated entity.  Each angel is a differentiated aspect of a collective body of angels. That collective Body of angels may be called an Archangel.  This Archangel’s body is the Body of Humanity, comprised of billions of cells, each cell inhabited by an angel. Each angel is a re-focalization of the One Spirit of the Archangel.

Archangels are embodied by cosmic entities. In astronomy these entities are called “solar systems.” Our solar system is the Body of the Archangel responsible for this tiny corner of the Milky Way Galaxy. The Milky Way Galaxy with all of its millions of solar entities is the manifest Body of the Creator in this corner of the Cosmos.

Coming back to our solar entity, let us consider what has happened and what is in the process of happening now. What has happened in the past is that the Body of Humanity, this collective Man comprised of male and female cells, lost its awareness of its purpose as the incarnating Body of the Archangel.  In a simple word, the Archangel lost control of his body, the body through which dominion over and governance of the solar entity and all its planets, including this Earth upon which we carry on our human activities we call “life,” was exercised and extended. Thus the chaos and disunity we’ve been experiencing for millennia on this planet.

What is happening now is the resurrection and ascension of the Archangel’s Body from death orientation to orientation in eternal life.  In a word, the Archangel is taking back His Body that has been stolen and usurped by the the human ego.

Collective entities, like individual human beings, have a focus of Identity and have been given names. The Archangel’s focus and Identity is the Lord of Love who took on individual human form at various intervals in human history, the most recent incarnation being in the body of the Lord Jesus two-thousand years ago.  It is believed by some that he also incarnated as Lord Buddha and Lord Krishna. The collective human ego that has usurped human consciousness and the Body of Humanity, has been called by various names, from the “Devil” to “Lucifer” and “Satan.”   We’re talking about spiritual energy here and its distribution through patterns of focalization.  The word “Satan” describes a focalization of spiritual energy. It has sundry origins and usages. Here are some very interesting definitions I found on the internet:

– Lucifer: Is not the Devil´s real name. It is the old term for the Morning Star (´Hillel` in Hebrew) which was used as a symbol for pride in a satyrical poem about the king of Babylon. The poem was interpreted by some Christians as referring to the Devil.

– Beelzebub: Is not the Devil´s real name. It was originally “Baal-Zebul`, `Lord of the manor´, a deity worshipped by the people of Ekron. The jews turned him into a demon, and called him “Baal-zebub” which means `Lord of the flies´. In Hebrew theology, he is apparently the king of demons, but not identified with Satan, the accusing angel.

– Satan: Is not the Devil´s real name, but a title. It means “Slanderer” or “Accuser” and refers to the angel who accuses mankind in the court of God, kind of like a heavenly D.A.   (Leonard)

That fairly accurately describes human ego activity of accusing and blaming . For more information–and a good laugh–go to https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090709023051AACf62E .

The Hebrews used a symbol called the “Sefirot” or the “Tree of Life” in their teachings. Here’s an excerpt from my book Sacred Anatomy that describes how it was used: (click on the picture to enlarge it for better viewing.)

sacraments_sefirot_chakrasIn the Judaic healing tradition the sacred energy system in the human anatomy is designated as the Sefiroth, or Tree of Life.  In her book and tapes,  “Anatomy of the Spirit” and “Energy Anatomy” respectively, medical intuitive Caroline Myss presents this system of distribution of spiritual energy as a parallel  to the Christian “Seven Sacraments” and the Vedic Seven Chakras:

“Just as Christianity offers us a symbolic map of human energy anatomy in the form of the sacraments, so Judaism has the Tree of Life as a representation of this same system.  The Tree of Life is a symbolic diagram, which has been used by Kabbalists (Judaism’s most ancient mystical sect) for several thousand years.  It explains how energy flows down from God into the world.  This diagram shows ten sefiroth (“numbers”), each representing a different stage or quality of this descent. For example, it begins with keter (“crown”) and ends with shekinah (“creation”).  The ten sefiroth are arranged in a way that divides them into seven levels.  Each of these levels corresponds perfectly with those of the Chakra and seven sacrament systems, and represents a quality of power that is essential for us to develop in order to maintain a healthy body—both physically and spiritually.”

One can see a close similarity between these three sacred energy generating and distribution systems in the human anatomy.   They are representing one thing:  the spiritual body of subtle energies clothing the One who stands in the midst of the seven levels of being, filling them with the substance of pneumaplasm for the transmission of divine creative power, design and governance from the invisible planes of Creator into the visible planes of creation.  We play a co-creative role in this process that clothes invisible spirit with form.

I have also seen the ten sefiroth described as a series of transformers, each level stepping down the Creator’s power so that it can be known and experienced in practical ways in the lower levels of creation.  In this sense they serve a parallel function with the seven endocrine centers of energy transformation and distribution in the body temple.  Spiritual growth toward enlightenment is a matter of leaving behind the tenth level of “Satan” (pronounced in Hebrew as sa-tan, with the accent on the last syllable ) where dark and destructive forces work to nullify the emergence of the Creator’s spirit in the physical and material planes of being.  To enter the “miracle zone” of the Light in the higher sefiroth , one needs to give up one’s “comfort zone” in the materialistic plane of darkness.

On the other end of this spectrum of spiritual energy is the light and creative forces of the Archangel differentiated by at least seven-billion angels now incarnate on Earth for this grand finale called the Restoration. We are each one a member in the Archangel’s Body, having each a unique and significant role to play in this awesome outworking.

Perhaps that is enough for this post. All this to say, we are living in exciting times, historical and Biblical days of fulfillment of Divine and Cosmic creative and re-creative end-cycles that span space and time from the Beginning in Genesis to the present day of restoration. We are here to restore Paradise to its rightful, God-given place here on our beloved planet Earth. But first we must let the Archangel have his Body back in one piece. For that to happen, the purification of the Body of Mankind that has been underway for some time now and coming to a climactic finale in our day must complete itself. So, don’t take anything you are experiencing personally. It’s the Archangel’s full incarnation that is orchestrating this purification process, bringing much violence and destruction to bear in human affairs. It is also bringing much renewal of spirit and awakening in human beings the world over. No matter your unique role or place in the Body, identify with the Archangel, the genuine Self while handling the human body you have inhabited, along with its human ego, ultimately helping it pass away to release you back to God. With the coming of the genuine, authentic Self, the substitute self is transformed and transmuted into pure angelic light. What cannot be transmuted is simply returned to dust.

“. . . and the former things are passed away.” (Rev. 21:4).

I hope you have enjoyed this post. Until next we meet,

Be love. Be loved.

The Body Electric, part 4: Ascension Harmonics

Healing is not about fixing anything

ARE WE ASCENDING YET?

[I’ve embedded a video clip for you to listen to while reading this blog meditation. Enjoy the harmonic sound track. It’s an F# Major chord, the frequency I feel lifts up substance during meditation and attunement. This is the Solfaggio Harmonic 721 Hz intended for expansion of consciousness.]

Tony Pics for SA BookAre we ascending yet? I believe we are. At least the planet appears to be shifting to a higher frequency, and our bodies are very much a part of the planet, so they would also be ascending along with it. Is this an automatic process happening to us, or do we have any part to play in facilitating the process? I believe that both things are happening. Our bodies are being uplifted to a higher frequency and we have a part to play in the process—that is if we wish to take our bodies with us, which may well be possible one day, but not yet. Presently, we can only take our spiritual bodies with their subtle substance with us when we make our transition in what is called death.

The question “Are we ascending?” begs some clarification. The answer would depend on who we are—or rather who we think we are. If by “we” we are referring to the incarnate beings we are in the spiritual sense, then I think there is a consensus among the awakened majority of us that the beings we are already live at a  higher level than the physical and, therefore, do not need to ascend. As for our physical bodies and outer being which includes our human consciousness, that all needs to ascend to a higher vibrational frequency in order to continue its existence on a planet whose vibrational frequency is shifting to a higher vibration. And the only way that can happen is by a power emanating from within and permeating every tissue cell of our bodies.

It is the expression of a higher frequency power through body, mind and heart of each individual that will lever the physical body up to a higher frequency. This is also true for the collective Body of Humanity. In this case, a critical mass is needed to provide that vibrational leverage.

In the Book of Revelation there is mention of a critical mass of a hundred and forty and four thousand standing on Mount Sion with a Lamb. This could be a vibrational value rather than a quantity of warm bodies of “believers.” We know, for instance, that groups of people have meditated together and impacted world events, such as crime and weather patterns. Group chanting and toning has also been used in this way. It’s the quality of love radiation rather than quantity that matters.

LET LOVE DO THE WORK

In Biblical symbolism, the Lamb represents Jesus the Christ, the Redeemer of fallen man. Religious interpretations and creeds aside, what Jesus stood for, his personal mission and purpose for incarnating, was love. His expression through his human form was that of the highest frequency of love. His reference on every turn was to his heavenly Father. “The works that I do, I do not of myself, but the Father within me, he doeth the works.” His message was that of love. “If you love me, do as I command. Love one another as I have love you” and “Love your enemies; do good to those that hate you.” And, of course, there’s the first and second Great Commandments:

“Thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all of thy heart and all of thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.” And the second: “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” (Mark 12:30)

The “Father within” is love. Here is what the author of Revelation, John the Beloved, wrote about the vision he was having:

And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred and forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.” (Rev. 14:1)

We lead forth with the thoughts in our foreheads in everything we undertake to do. They are written as intentions in our fore brains. Our creative energies follow our thoughts to manifest those thought forms at lower frequencies so that we may see and enjoy them at the physical level.

Although we are told by health authors that we are what we eat, that isn’t the whole truth. We are also what we think and express. James Allen writes about this in his little book As A Man Thinketh.

The aphorism, “As a man thinketh in his heart so is he,” not only embraces the whole of a man’s being, but is so comprehensive as to reach out to every condition and circumstance of his life. A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts.

Well, that’s not all a Man is, is it? Man is a Human Being, a Being incarnate in human form. This aphorism indicates that a man thinks in his heart, not his mind. This is so, as we now know there are brain cells in the heart which communicate with brain cells in the brain. The Master Jesus apparently knew of this connection between heart and mind when he said “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.”

THE HEART-BRAIN CONNECTION

Here are a few “Heart-Brain Factoids” from the Institute of Heartmath.

Your Heart's Electromagnetic Field

Your Heart’s Electromagnetic Field

Your heart emits an electromagnetic field that changes according to your emotions.Others can pick up the quality of your emotions through the electromagnetic energy radiating from your heart.

The heart has a system of neurons that have both short- and long-term memory, and the signals they send to the brain can affect our emotional experiences. The heart sends more information to the brain than the brain sends to the heart.Coherent heart rhythms help the brain in creativity and innovative problem-solving.

With this knowledge of the heart-brain connection, it is easy to understand how love in our hearts can raise the vibrational frequency of the cells in our bodies. It doesn’t take much change in vibration upward—as little as half a pitch—to make the body impervious to disease. Just a little more and the body will levitate. Just a bit more and the body cells will vibrate at the speed of love, which is light. And just a little more than the speed of light, the body will shift levels, become completely invisible to third-dimensional perception. So, you see, we are not very far from the fourth dimension vibrationally speaking. After we ascend to the fourth dimension, then ascension on upward into the fifth dimension, or density as some would have it, and further would be possible. Man was created on the sixth day in Genesis. Our Home, then, is at the level of the sixth heaven, just a little lower than the angels’ abode in God’s seventh heaven. There’s a Biblical reference to this in the Book of Psalms.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angel, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. (Psalm 8:3-5)

There have been so many reminders of our place in the Divine Design and Cosmology. These Biblical passages have always intrigued me and drawn me to them in meditation. This one is one of my favorite.

The earth is the LORD’S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.  Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.  Selah.

[The “LORD of host” could be the Lord Budha, or the Lord Krishna, or any one of several deities and ascended masters in the many cultures of the world. Being brought up in Western civilization, I more naturally use Biblical references of the Christian culture. Readers are free to reference their own cultural beliefs and sacred scriptures. Whatever works for you. I respect all religious beliefs and sacred texts and I appreciate that my readers, wherever you are, respect the ones I reference in my blogs. Thank you.]

THE PHYSIOLOGY OF ASCENSION

The body goes in the direction of the heart’s response. When the heart is open upward in utter abandon and perfect love response to the Lord of Love, and the head is lifted up with the mind focused in the highest image one may have of the Lord of Love, “the King of glory,” the body cells begin to vibrate at a higher frequency in resonance with the frequency of Love. Love can then come into the heart. “And the King of glory shall come in.” The heart sends a message to the brain, which sends a message to the hypothalamus, which in turn sends messages via hormone precursors to the seven endocrine glands, which are the “seven seals” of the book of life. According to the author of Revelation, only the Lamb can open the seven seals of the book of life. The Lamb is Love.

The vibration of Love moving in and through the heart opens the vibrational gateways—“ye gates and everlasting doors”—of the seven endocrine glands releasing powerful hormones that go forth into the body and raise the frequency of the cells. In an instant, the body begins to rise up off the ground in ecstatic fusion with the God Being incarnate. The cycle of ascension is thus initiated. The angel takes his or her body-temple up to the next level.

From my own personal experience, this is the way it works. There are no techniques, sound or otherwise, that can initiate this process. Harmonic sound can attune energy and subtle substance and facilitate its movement through the chakra and endocrine centers. As I mentioned at the start, I find that the F# Major chord as played in the clip does move energy upward in an ascending spiral. The Father within, however, “He doeth the works.” Love God with all.

Thank you for following my blogs and for sharing these heartfelt thoughts and meditations.

Your Heart's Electromagnetic Field

Your Heart’s Electromagnetic Field

Tony Pics for SA BookWe’ve been considering the effect of electromagnetic radiation on ourselves and on other creatures of the natural world. In this blog post I would like to report on some of these effects. I have a personal interest in this topic which was greatly heightened during our recent visit with family living dangerously close to high-power electrical lines in the San Francisco area. I am deeply concerned that the electromagnetic field generated by the powerful currents moving through these power lines may well be affecting their health, and perhaps even their energetic interactions. So I am re-reading Dr. Robert Becker’s book THE BODY ELECTRIC — ELECTROMAGNETISM AND THE FOUNDATION OF LIFE in order to gain a clearer understanding of electromagnetic radiation and its impact on human and animal life.

OUR VIBRATIONAL TERRAIN AND CONTEXT

Electromagnetic Radiation

Electromagnetism can be discussed in two ways—in terms of fields and in terms of radiation. A field is “something” that exists in space around an object that produces it. We know there is a field around a permanent magnet because it can make an iron particle jump through space to the magnet. Obviously there’s an invisible entity that exerts a force on the iron, but as to just what it consists of—don’t ask! No one knows. [Walter Russell would challenge that statement if he were still around] A different but analogous something—an electric field—extends outward from electrically charged objects.

Both electric and magnetic fields are static, unvarying. When the factor of time is introduced, by varying the intensity of the field as in a radio antenna, an electromagnetic field results. As its name implies, this consists of an electric field and a magnetic field. The fluctuations in the field radiate outward from the transmitter as waves of energy, although somehow these waves simultaneously manage to behave as streams of massless, chargeless particles (photons). As to just how this happens, again—don’t ask! Sometimes the phenomenon is called an electromagnetic field (EMF), to emphasize its connection with the transmitter; sometimes it’s called electromagnetic radiation (EMR), to emphasize its outward-flowing aspect. However, the two terms refer to the same phenomenon and are interchangeable. The only  meaningful distinction is between static and time-varying fields.

Each energy wave consists of an electric field and a magnetic field at right angles to each other, and both at right angles to the direction the wave is traveling. The number of waves formed in one second is the frequency; the distance the energy travels (at the speed of light) during one oscillation is its wavelength. The higher the frequency, the shorter the wavelength, and vice versa.

Now, that’s pretty much the gist of the matter, the basic understanding of electromagnetism today. If you want to understand how this phenomenon manifests, then I would encourage you to purchase Walter Russell’s enthralling book THE SECRET OF LIGHT, which I’ve referenced and blogged on in earlier posts. Also, see the previous post for information about the history of electricity and microwave technology.

Let’s jump over to the section in Becker’s book where he talks about the impact electromagnetic fields have on our physical bodies and our brains. Let’s start with this frightening bit of information:

The human species has changed its electromagnetic background more than any other aspect of the environment. [This was published in 1985]. For example, the density of radio waves around us is now 100 million or 200 million times the natural level reaching us from the sun. Nor is there any end in sight. When superconducting cables are introduced [which they have been], they’ll increase the field strength around power lines by a factor of ten or twenty. Electric cars, magnetically levitated transport vehicles, and microwave-beam satellites for transmitting solar power to earth would each add strong new sources of electromagnetic contamination.

Dr. Becker calls it “contamination” for valid reasons. He goes on to do the research into the impact it has on human and animal life. Understand, it’s the low and very low and extremely low frequencies waves (LF, VLF, and ELF) that are issues. ELF waves approximate the dimensions of the earth; at 10 Hz one wave is about 18,600 miles long. These are the ones that affect subtle disturbances in our own energy fields and that of animals because of the resonance factor. Higher wavelengths of energy have more noticeable effects on us, like burn our skin.

Higher waves, like X-rays, gamma waves, and ultraviolet wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation—the shortest are gamma waves, a tenth of a billionth of a millimeter long, vibrate sextillions of times a second—are termed “ionizing radiation, because the higher photonic energy can knock electrons away from atoms, creating highly reactive ions where they don’t belong. They are “free radicals” that can cause cancer. Much of the damage from nuclear radiation is caused in this way. All lower frequencies, beginning with the longer ultraviolet wavelenghts, are nonionizing, but nonetheless affect us in detrimental ways.

We can protect ourselves from the higher frequencies because we notice their impact on our bodies. As Becker explains,

Except for light and infrared heat, we can’t perceive any of these energies without instruments, so most people don’t realize how drastically and abruptly we’ve changed the electromagnetic environment in just one century.

Nor do we notice the impact low frequency waves have on our bodies and minds. Experiments were done with animals, but the results cannot be applied necessarily to humans because of the varying factors like fur, feathers, skin thickness, bone size, and the general shape of the animals that complicate RF and MW absorption beyond our capacity to gauge it. In a sense, Becker says, “…the entire population of the world is willy-nilly the subject of a giant experiment.”

SUBLIMINAL STRESS

This is what grabbed my attention. The experiments Becker and his colleagues, Howard Friedman and Charlie Bachman, carried out on human subjects showed rather conclusively that electromagnetic fields of 5 to 11 gauss, which are ten to twenty times earth’s background and well above the level of most magnetic storms, when the lines of force were passed through the brain from ear to ear, cutting across the brainstem-frontal current, slowed down the subjects’ reaction time pressing a button in response to a red light. Steady fields produced no effect, but when modulated with a slow pulse of a cycle every five seconds (a delta wave frequency), people’s reactions slowed down. Passed from back to front, the force field had no effect.

They were excited and eagerly planning further experiments when they “came upon a frightening Russian report. Yuri Kholodov had administered steady magnetic fields of 100 and 200 gauss to rabbits and found areas of cell death in their brains during autopsy. Although his fields were ten times as strong as ours, we stopped all human experiments immediately.”

Friedman duplicated Kholodov’s experiments with more scrutiny and found that all the animals had been infected with a brain parasite peculiar to rabbits. He explains why:

However, in half the animals the protozoa had been under control by the immune system, whereas in the other half they’d routed the defenders and destroyed parts of the brain. The experts suggested that we must have done something to undermine resistance of the rabbits in the experimental group. The code confirmed that most of the brain damage had occurred in animals subjected to the magnetic fields. Later, Friedman did biochemical tests on another series of rabbits and found that the fields were causing a generalized stress reaction marked by large amounts of cortisone in the bloodstream. This is the response called forth by a prolonged stress, like a disease, that isn’t an immediate threat to life, as opposed to the fight-or-flight response generated by adrenaline.

Here’s the clincher, over which I will leave you to ponder.

Soon thereafter,  Friedman measured cortisone levels in monkeys exposed to a 200-gauss magnetic field for four hours a day. They showed the stress response for six days, but it then subsided, suggesting adaptation to the field. Such seeming tolerance of continued stress is illusory, however. In his pioneering lifework on stress, Dr. Hans Selye has clearly drawn the invariable pattern: Initially, the stress activates the hormonal and/or immune systems to a higher-than-normal level, enabling the animal to escape danger or combat disease. If the stress continues, hormone levels and immune reactivity gradually decline to normal. If you stop your experiment at this point, you’re apparently justified in saying, “The animal has adapted; the stress is doing it no harm.” Nevertheless, if the stressful condition persists, hormone and immune levels decline further, well below normal. In medical terms, stress decompensation has set in, and the animal is now more susceptible to other stressors, including malignant growth and infectious disease.

In the mid-1970’s, two Russian groups found stress hormones released in rats exposed to microwaves, even if they were irradiated only briefly by minute amounts of energy. Other Eastern European work found the same reaction to 50-hertz electric fields. Several Russian and Polish groups have since established that after prolonged exposure the activation of the stress system changes to a depression of it in the familiar pattern, indicating exhaustion of the adrenal cortex [the etiology of chronic stress and chronic fatigue syndrome]. There has even been one report of hemorrhage and cell damage in the adrenal cortex from a month’s exposure to a 50-hertz, 130-gauss magnetic field.

Further experiments with ELF magnetic fields on animals showed impact on endocrine glands and activation of the “fast” flight-or-fight hormones centering on adrenaline from the adrenal medulla. Soviet biophysicist N.A. Udintsev documented an insulin insufficiency and rise in blood sugar. Notably, animals showed no indication they were aware of these hormonal changes, when normally they would react as though they were under attack. They showed no outward signs of fear, agitation, or illness.

Most humans certainly wouldn’t be able to detect a 100-gauss magnetic field, at least not consciously. Only several years after Friedman’s work did anyone find out how this was happening.

In 1976 a group under J.J. Noval at the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory at Pensacola, Florida, found the slow stress response in rats from very weak electric fields, as low as five thousandths of a volt per centimeter. They discovered that when such fields vibrated in the ELF range, they increased levels of neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the brainstem, apparently in a way that activated a distress signal subliminally, without the animal’s becoming aware of it. The scariest part was that the fields Noval used were well within the background levels of a typical office, with its overhead lighting, typewriters, computers, and other equipment [cell phones]. Workers in such an environment are exposed to electric fields between a hundredth and a tenth of a volt per centimeter and magnetic fields between a hundredth and tenth of a gauss.

That’s more than enough to digest in one blog post. What you do with this information is up to you, of course. Just be aware that there are these factors to consider when your health, physical and mental, gets off kilter. I consider these factors each and every time a client presents bizarre or even “normal” symptoms. What’s “normal” anyway when all medical research has to work with are humans who live in this kind of environment. Is there any wonder our healthcare system is failing us?  We have no truly health model of a human being to measure against.

This all can be overwhelming and depressing if you let it worry you and don’t embrace it with a higher frequency of energy. That would be the frequency of LOVE, wouldn’t it? We’ve created an environment which will not very much longer be able to support our animal flesh bodies.

But I believe that there’s a greater purpose being served by all this electromagnetic pollution. This may well be the catalyst that is setting in motion the ultimate transmutation of our species to a fourth-density state of being, along with our planet Earth. It would undoubtedly be less traumatic were we to meet it with equal or greater radiant force and let Love work its vibrational alchemy from within.  We may not have to do anything about what’s happening in the electromagnetic and atmospheric terrains of our environment. What could we do anyway, shut down the power lines and dismantle our electrical power plants and grids?  Then what? Regress to candlelight days? No, we’re headed smack dab into a vibrational brick wall that we will only be able to transcend as spiritual beings with light bodies. Our flesh bodies will have to ascend to a higher frequency and transmute. In the meantime, enjoy your electromagnetic universe!

Be love. Be loved.

Anthony
